What was maybe one of the most intense weekends that
you can ever imagine going through as a sports fan.
I mean, none of our favorite teams, the Huskies, the Mariners,
or the Seahawks gave us any kind of break mentally
this weekend. I mean, it was the entire way four
game for freaking four, stress inducing, heart attack inducing, vomit

I think all of us can agree on that something's
going on with his team at home, and something's going

at four o'clock today. But for me, I'm just gonna

point in time because I'm a lunatic sports fan, as

the fourth quarter. I just couldn't stand it. I had
to get the hell out of there and get over
to Jimmy's and get over to T Mobile Park. I
had to reset, I had to charge my phone, I
had to go to the bathroom, I had to get
something to drink, and then I wanted to get my
ass inside that park as quickly as I could. I
just can't separate these things right like other people, I

the Seahawks now and the Mariners at five, I'll dive

first billing, There's no question about that. As big a
football fan as I am, I understand the playoff baseball
is more important than regular season football, although that game
yesterday could end up being very very important down the
road when it comes to making the playoffs. That being said, though,
I mean, I've always been kind of a guy that compartmentalizes,

you know that about me. I mean like when I
was in college, if I had a final on Wednesday, Thursday,
and Friday, I wouldn't study.

For all of them at the same time.

I would study for the Wednesday one on Tuesday night,
I'd study for the Thursday one on Wednesday. I wanted
to compartmentalize and focus on one thing and I tell you what.
When I was in that Seahawks game yesterday, I was
one hundred percent focused on yelling as loud as I
could and helping my football team win. And then as
soon as it was over, then okay, yeah, do the
postgame show and then it's boom, it's all Mariners.

And last night I was all Mariners for three hours.

about what time the gates open, how do I get
in there, how do I make a b line to
the bathroom if I need to in a pinch? Blah
blah blah. I just can't get this out of my head.

The intensity is off the charts, and for as good
as this baseball team has been this year, man a
five game series, it's it's almost like baseball doesn't even
really care about making sure they give themselves the best
chance of having the better team advance. Because if they did,

if they really cared about making sure the better team
advanced or giving themselves the best shot to have the better.

Yeah, And to me, it like errors happen and we're
not used to seeing it from Josh Naylor. But it's
the at bats for me that's getting concerning with him
because he's normally someone who would grind out of bats,

you could tell that there's something else going on. And
again I agree with you. It's understandable why he is

screening my head off to make sure the defense got

is the way the Mariner pitching staff responded after both

and then George Kirby immediately responds by giving up the

and you'll let him face him again, right, So hindsight

think the Mariners are in a pretty decent spot. Not
as good as they would have been if they're up
two oh, and I thought they should have won game won,

for as great as it is for him, I don't
have any problems saying it sucks for us as it does.

Baker Mayfield's playing an MVP level, no doubt. I think
that what is the norm and what is the anomaly,
And clearly what we saw last night was the anomaly
for the Seahawks defense. So because all those guys and

were out, Lawrence Hall, Witherspoon, Love Woolen, I mean, Emon Worry,

So I am going to give the defense a bit
of a pass in that game because of that. But
if it was more of a low scoring game and
we were worried about the offense, I've been more concerned

Baker Mayfield's playing an MVP level, no doubt. I think
that what is the norm and what is the anomaly,
And clearly what we saw last night was the anomaly
for the Seahawks defense. So because all those guys and

were out, Lawrence Hall, Witherspoon, Love Woolen, I mean, Emon Worry,

I mean the list goes on and on.

Over half of your starters were out.

So I am going to give the defense a bit
of a pass in that game because of that. But
if it was more of a low scoring game and
we were worried about the offense, I've been more concerned
