Speaker 1 (00:00):
We go, Jackson. Did you see it the video I
put on?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I did not see you?

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Okay, did you see my tweet? You didn't see that.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
You guys didn't see the tweet that I made last
night for crying a video.

Speaker 4 (00:11):
I saw a photo of you like getting ready for
yesterday's game. I saw the bad a little video.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
I needed to go downstairs and blow off some steam.
My wife basically kicked me out of the family room
and said go downstairs. After that win last night, I
was so freaking jacked up after getting Game one in
the way that Bryce Miller threw.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
So yes, I'm fine.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Thank you very much for those anonymous people reaching out
asking me if I'm okay.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Well, we got a lot to get to you.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
First of all, fact or fiction brought to you by
the Lucky Eagle coming up in about thirty minutes from now.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Uh, don't mind if I say.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
A good week for US three and oh and now
a game out of the wind column behind Chuck and
Buck after we got the Kudes and the points Man
that turned out to be easy freaking money in that
gaiziest cover we've ever had, unbelievably covered by like thirty one. Well,
they I mean, you can argue they should have won
the game for crying out loud, So good on the

(01:02):
Kudes for putting on a show and giving us a win.
In fact or fiction, Raiders took care of Tennessee and
then the Titans fired their head coach after the Raiders
took care of Tennessee and the Hawks got the job
done against Jacksonville. So, I mean, it was like it
was like an Oprah winfree audience weekend. Everybody got something right,
Sounder fans got something, Cracking fans got something, Husky fans

(01:24):
got something. They got two things that whatever. Rutgers in
the lost by Oregon by the way, Seahawk fans got something,
and Mariner fans got something.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
So what an unbelievable weekend that was.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
That was a winning weekend for all involved, mister fans.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
It was the most perfect sports weekend I can maybe
ever remember, considering the impact of one of those games
being the Mariners game and then doubling it up with
the Mariners game not only a series winning game on Friday,
but then getting road win.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Now correct me if I'm wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
This was the first week that jackson didn't make a pick.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Correct, get a record. It was just double check bench coach.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I'm washed.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
You can't make an incorrect pick. If you don't make
a pick, thank you, right, don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
I mean I'm in a good, jolly mood right now.
I say we give the kid one more shot.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
No, see what happened? No, absolutely not shot.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Okay, Well, if you're gonna play scared, I'm not gonna play.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, don't let my guys get in the way.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
That's the thing, man, because what happens in this league
and this business in factor fiction brought to you by
the Lucky Eagle. You go out there and you're distracted,
You're gonna get hurt, and.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Nobody wants that. So we might have to pull you.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
I mean, I think we're gonna have to get together
with our team psychologists and check in with you over
the weekend or maybe on Wednesday morning. And it's here
you doing That means that means calling your wife by
the way to ask you how has her you're doing.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
I told you guys last week before I left that
you guys need to just pull me.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I'm done, game over for me. I am hurting the team.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Would we be better off letting Kelley the bartender here
make a prediction.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah Jackson, Yes.

Speaker 5 (02:52):
We would not be better off letting Taylor from the
five to twenty.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Did she lose again?

Speaker 4 (02:57):
I don't think she made a pick last week.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
No, we weren't there. Oh about the week before?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yes she lost the Yes.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yes, well not only is Jackson zero to four, but
Christer for kid finally got a win. Say you're on
loser Island by yourself.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
By the way, his kids now one in ten.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
But I will point out that Jessmon and Chris Kidd
are two and fifteen combined on the air so far,
the two midday show producers. But hey, we got a
lot to get to. We're gonna hear from jet Fish
next segment. We'll get the Factor fiction obviously as well
Hugh Milling a little more at four with Hugh. But man,
I'm starting to think about the Seahawks football team, Dick,
and I was talking to you about this last night.

(03:36):
I just think this in simple terms. First of all,
I'm not surprised day one. We thought the Hawks were
in a good spot coming off that emotional win Monday
night for Jacksonvilleagans Kansas City. I didn't think that Trevor
Lawrence was really that good, to be honest with you,
and he got thoroughly out played by Sam Darnold yesterday
in the game.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
I just think this.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I think at the Seahawks right now on the thirteenth
of October, if they can find a running game, right,
if they can find consistent running game, which they haven't
done that yet, If they can find a running game,
there's no reason why.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
They can't make a run in the NFC. This thing's
wide open.

Speaker 7 (04:08):
Dude.

Speaker 5 (04:09):
You're exactly right, because right now, who's being considered the
favorites in the NFC. That's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Well,
you saw the game with Tampa Bay and Seattle. It
was back and forth and back and forth. One team
is not significantly better than the other. And it looks like,
I mean, those two teams look like they've played ten
times each.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
One would win five.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Maybe I mean that.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
But you're exactly right about the running game, and that's
I think. Maybe that's the most encouraging thing about the
Seahawks offense is because in past seasons, if you looked
at the box score and you saw twenty six carries
for sixty yards, two point three yards of carry. You
didn't even have to tell me the finals for it.
You knew they lost that foot run game. There was

(04:45):
no question they lost that football game because their defense
wasn't elite over the last three or four years. But
now you can just be one dimensional on offense, but
the defense is so dang good that you can hold
teams in the teams and still get to twenty.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
And win a game. Well, yeah, not only that, no
question about it.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I mean, the guys, the Jaguars had allowed six sacks
going into yesterday's game, and the Seahawks had seven in
one game. I mean, that is just ludicrous that the
Jaguars had been protecting Trevor Lawrence as well as they
had and he ends up getting sacks seven times in
one game.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
So we got to talk to hew at four about
what led to that.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
And then, second of all, I mean, I'll just give
you some props because you said this over the offseason
that when DK metcalf walked away that Jackson Smith and
Jigba was gonna blow up. He's on pace for nineteen
hundred receiving yards. I believe that's an NFL record in
nine touchdowns. Yes, but here's the thing about Jackson Smith
and Jigba. This is not a guy who's on pace
to catch one hundred and forty five balls. He's on

(05:47):
pace to catch one hundred and twenty, which is a lot.
But we've seen guys in the NFL with close to
two hundred targets. Look at the not happening six tilling
point six yards per catch for Jackson Smith in JIGBA.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
He is becoming big play Jackson.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
I mean, it's unbelievable what this guy's doing right now
for this football team. And that's the really cool thing
I think about, honestly, Dick, what we're watching in this
Mariner series and what we're now watching with the Seahawks.
Like we're seeing guys with the Mariners Auo, Haaneus Suarez,
Josh Naiel, Randy eros Arena, even maybe Gabe Spy or whatever.
There's a lot of guys that can play better than
they've played so far right in this postseason. Yet here

(06:24):
they are and they're three games away for the World Series.
I see an offensive line that can run block better.
I see an offense that can convert on third down better.
I see a run game that can look better. I
see a secondary that can get healthier than what they've been.
And I remember we talked about this after the last game,
which was the Tampa game.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Right, God, that game feels like it was six months
or whatever.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
And we're on the air and we're talking about how
much do you use injuries as an excuse?

Speaker 1 (06:48):
And I say, well, a little bit.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
But I've always thought that the star of the show
is gonna be McDonald's scheme.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
And guess who the star of the show was yesterday.
It was McDonald's scheme.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
He's got no spoon, he's got no reeks know, Julian Love.
I mean, dude, seventy of his secondary's gone and they
still win a game on the road, going three thousand
miles away from home. So I thought yesterday was example
one a guys, of why you hired Mike McDonald to
be your head coach.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
There's no question I will I'm gonna temper my enthusiasm
a little bit for what the defense did yesterday because
I just don't think Trevor Lawrence is very good. Now
I have watched two games, Like we never watched Jacksonville, Right,
you never watched Jacksonville the play, But now I've watched
eight quarters in a row closely of Trevor Lawrence Monday

(07:36):
Monday night against the Chiefs, which they ended up winning,
but that wasn't because of Trevor Lawrence.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
And then and then the four quarters against the Seahawks.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
I don't know, man, I don't know how they win
consistently going forward with him at their quarterback. That being said,
they were able to get to him as And it
was funny because Hugh joke that I don't know it
was on Monday more and forward Monday or if it
was on the postgame show with me after the Tampa
Bay game, but he was. I tell you what, DeMarcus
Lawrence better be freaking Lawrence Taylor because you took him

(08:03):
out and you had no pass rush. Well, maybe DeMarcus Lawrence,
at least yesterday played like Lawrence Taylor.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
I mean, he was unbelievable, as was the rest of
that defensive front.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Well, I think Sam Darnold's better than Trevor Lawrence is
right now, God say, might be better at everybody right now.
Don't even think it's particularly close. And you know, I
just think without Baker Mayfield, we might be talking about
a potential MVP.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Maybe I'm just being a homer here, guys, but yeah,
I just think what he's been doing so far this
year for the Seahawks has been unbelievable, and I think
we can, first of all, just put the Geno Donald
thing at least for an out to bed. I mean,
obviously there's a chance that something crazy happens the next
two and a half months and Gino blows up and
Donald regresses. But you're talking about a guy who, you know,
what after is it six games now four and two?

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Is that right?

Speaker 3 (08:47):
After six games? He's number seven of the NFL. And
completion percentage, he's number three in the NFL. In passing
yards he's number one in the league, and yards per
attempt at nine point six yards per throw he's number five,
and touchdowns He's.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Got two picks so far in the year.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
He's got a QBR at number three in the NFL,
and it's passer rating is number three as well. I mean,
you're talking about a guy who in every major category
is right up there.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
If he played for I don't know, give me a.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Team the Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Giants, or the
Buffalo but whatever, right, I think there'd be people talking
about him as the MVP. I mean, that's the position
he's putting you in. And again it's only week six.
I get that. But the idea that John Schneider jumped
off to Russell Wilson wagon at the exact right time

(09:33):
and now seems to have done the exact right thing
again with Sam Darnald and Gino Smith is unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
So kudos to them.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
I mean, if Sam Darnald was going into his free
agent year, which he's not, if he was or he
had one more year left on his deal, he's got
two ye we'd be talking about extending him right now
and not allowing him.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
To get to the offseason.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
There's no question.

Speaker 5 (09:56):
I think if if the Seahawks beat Tampa last week, right,
I think a lot of people are talking about MVP
the NBA. But what blew Baker Mayfield up into the
lead spot for the MVP was that win last week
over Sam Donald in Tampa Bay. So you know, you
have an opportunity if you finished with a better record
than the Bucks. And I mean, I just don't know

(10:18):
if Sam Donald's going to have the attempts I'm looking here.
I mean, Sam's on pace for like one hundred less
passes this year than last.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
He's also leading the NFL than yards per attempt that's right, right, Oh,
his official very economical.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
So while he's he's on pace.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
For one hundred less attempts, he's gone from seven point
nine yards per attempt or yeah, yards for attempt to
nine point six and he's still touchdown wise about the
same as on paces where he was last year.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Well, it's been exciting to watch.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
I mean, you you asked the other day if they
found their quarterback of the future. I mean right now,
it's like, yeah, I mean there's really no, it's not
even it's not even a question. I mean, why would
you even bother asking that question? Now, you know, I
mean there may be some naysayers out there that want
to see a little more and see what happens.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
You know, when the.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Geno fans go October November, they're still out there.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
You don't hear from Jackson Bevans, you don't hear from
Corbyn Smith, you don't hear from your girl. Mina chimes
a lot on the whole Geno Smith thing. I mean,
it's like, what did you guys see? That's my question? Right, Like,
what were you looking at? What did you see? Hey? Look,
if you want to argue that Sam Darnold was a
one hit wonder, fine, history says that he had to.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Prove it and blah blah blah.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
And if you want to argue that Geno Smith is
in the wrong system, whatever, But what was it out
of Geno Smith last.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Year that you saw that you were so unwilling to
give up? Hey?

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Look, I love what Geno Smith did for the Seahawks. Yes,
I think he filled a role when Russell left. I
think he filled it nicely. He exceeded my expectations. I
think he exceeded your expectations. Okay, but at some point
you need to do more, and at some point came
obviously over the offseason. So again, I don't want to
start this big holy war between the Geno Whites and

(12:01):
the Samets here on the radio station.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
But what was it about?

Speaker 3 (12:05):
What was it about Geno Smith that you saw that
you were just so unwilling to let go of.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
I think we are like that in sports.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
We have our guys, right, we have our guys that
are in that that were in their corner, and we
have our guys that are like dude, you just sucked.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
But we were in Geno's corner for a while, right.

Speaker 5 (12:22):
Well tell you also, But we also said, you know,
you and I and Jackson, we were all in agreement
last year, like, Okay, it's time to go.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
It's time to go.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
He's gotten consistently worse each and every year.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
We can't keep living in.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Twenty twenty two.

Speaker 5 (12:36):
Itay, right, right, And we were living so many people
I think we're living in twenty twenty two where he
just so far outlasted or outperformed anybody's expectations that while
it was a little bit of a dip in twenty
three and they kind of ignored it, it was a
little more dip in twenty four and they kind of
ignored it and we didn't.

Speaker 4 (12:53):
We were like, okay, enough is enough?

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Right, Well, I just it's baffling to me, man, you know,
absolutely baffling, even more now after what we're seeing from
Sam Donald. But I mean, the guy's ten and one
on the road. I'm talking about McDonald now was one
nine in a row. He can't win a lick at home,
but he's ten and one on the road, and he's
having so much road success that actually Jetfish said today
at his press conference he called Mike McDonald over the

(13:15):
offseason to ask him what he does, how he wins
on the Rose.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Mark right, and he talked about the schedule.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
We talked about the travel, the bigger plane, you know,
why it has an impact on players, and blah blah blah.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Mean, you know, Jeded, he's all about the NFL.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
I mean, there's been two guys that have come through
here in the last couple of years or you know,
four or five years, that have been all about the NFL.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
One guy knew how to do it. One guy did
and that guy was Jimmy Lake.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
I mean, Jimmy Lake was desperate to put guys in
the NFL, desperate to get back to the National Football League.
And I think Jeed Fish in a lot of ways
is too. But he's actually doing it. He's actually doing it.
He's actually putting guys in situations. I was talking to
him today for an interview that you're gonna actually hear
next segment.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Guys you know, coming off to win over Rutgers.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
And I asked him, I said, there's all these coaches
that are bitching and morning about travel, how come you're
not He says, because when.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Guys get to the league, they got to deal with that.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
There's thirty two teams on opposite sides of America in
four different time zones. So you know, do you do
you hear NFL head coaches bitch about travel, No, of
course not.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
They'd sound like idiots if they did something like that.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
So I love what he's doing at you, dub, and
I love the fact that he's making phone calls like that.
But the one, the next step for McDonald, besides the
other stuff we talked about, run game blah blah blah.
He's got to start winning some freaking games at home,
Dick has to.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
It'll come with this defense, it'll come. I mean, I
think part of it is a little fluky. I mean,
I just I agree with that. I mean, I just
think when you when you have a let's say you
have a sample size of fifty games, right, and let's
say during those fifty games sample size, there's gonna be
a ten game sample size where you just kind of suck.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
And I think this happened to be that sample size, hope.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
So I wouldn't be surprised at all if if he
turns around, he goes seven to three, eight and two
over the next ten games.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Well, I mean, the longer this lasts, the more it's
a problem. Of course, let's be honest. So it's something
that people are gonna bust his chops about until I
mean Pete Carroll, for example, Monday Night football coming up
on Monday. It's also potentially if they make it that far,
game seven of the Alcs. What was Pete Carroll's record
on primetime games at home? He was believable, stupid, right insane. Well,
now you got another one coming up with an extra

(15:13):
day arrest to get ready for the Texans, and then
Arizona where a hobbled quarterback is coming to town, and
then Minnesota with a hobbled quarterback, and then Indianapolis coming
to town than the Rams. So I mean, those are
three games, Houston, Arizona, Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Those are your next three home games.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
If you're going to show that this is a blip
on the radar like you're talking about, then show it
right frickin' now.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
All right, Okay, here's what we got going on a
little fun with audio.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
At three forty five to day, we're at the Emerald Queen,
and I will be very honest with you at three
twenty in the afternoon. This place is never this pact.
It is because we got a Monday night game coming up.
We got the Mariners obviously right now, we got the
Dodgers and the Brewers later on this evening. This is
the place to be, so join us at the Emeral
Queen Casino. We'll be here all day Factor fiction brought

(15:59):
to you by the Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel where
every day feels lucky.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
And then obviously we'll get to Jet Fish.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
We're gonna hear from him next coming up on ninety
three three KJRFM from.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
The R and R Foundation Specialist broadcast Studio.

Speaker 8 (16:13):
Now back to Softi and Dick on your home for
the Huskies, Kraken and the twelfth Man Sports Radio ninety
three point three kJ R FM.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
All right, boys and girls, we are back at the
Amro Queen Casino. We got Mony Night football two games tonight.
Bill's Atlanta Chicago Commanders. That game hurt on nine point
fifty AM at five point fifteen, Husky Coaches show more
with Jetfish and Tony Castraconi coming up at six o'clock tonight,
Chuck him Buck, we'll have Baseball's best postgame show after
the MS in Toronto wrap up Game.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Two of the ALCS.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
But how about a little preview, a little pregame for
the Jetfish Coaches Show. I had a chance me you,
Dave Soft, We're a hard man to catch up with
Jetfish this afternoon at Husky Stadium before Saturday's game with Michigan.
Let me just address something you said in there. So
there's been a lot of talking from coaches in this
conference about the schedule. We hear it from USC, we

(17:06):
hear it from Oregon, and we heard it from Penn
State before they made them move a James, You've decided
to not go down that road and make that a thing.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Why is that.

Speaker 9 (17:14):
I just think that there's a lot of things that
go into winning and losing, and I think there's a
lot of things that go into the scheduling, and I
just don't want to get involved with it. I think
it's not in our control. There's things that aren't our control.
That's the one I focus in on. Also, you know,
we pride ourselves on trying to prepare these guys to
be at the next level. At the next level, they're

(17:34):
going to have to deal with that it's thirty two
teams that are spread across the country and you never
know who you got to play when it's a short
week on a Thursday, it's a Monday night football game,
whatever it might be. So we try not to ever
talk about in our building.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Do we do you feel like there's a chance looking back,
when this thing's all said and done, whatever this here
looks like that we're going to go back and look
at halftime of that Maryland game as a turning point
in the season where this team really came together and
took off.

Speaker 9 (18:01):
I thought it was super cool to be in that
situation that our guys didn't flinch and we were down,
and then even they scored to start the second half
and we still didn't really flinch. I think there'll be
a lot of things that maybe we point to. I
think we have to really we're only halfway through it.
I think the way we played the fourth quarter against
Washington State was a tremendous think we outscored them twenty

(18:21):
eight nothing, So you know, I don't know what it's
going to look like, but we've got to take care
of business and we got to see if we can
be the type of football team that I think we
can be and we'll see what it looks like.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
What can you be?

Speaker 3 (18:33):
What are you now?

Speaker 1 (18:34):
And what are you hoping you'll be by the end
of the season.

Speaker 9 (18:37):
I think we're well, we're a five and one team
because you are what your record says you are, and
we're a team that has managed to.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Work.

Speaker 9 (18:46):
As a compliment. Our defense has gotten stops when our
offense has scored. If our offense has struggled, our defense
is taken the ball away. Our kicking game has been
exceptionally better than it was a year ago. Our return
game has been good. We've got good players that are
committed to playing really hard. And I think when you
turn on our film, you say, that's a team that
plays really hard. Now we got to continue to execute.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Jed, does it bother you eat at a little bit
that this team is still at five and.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
One, not ranked in the eight people? Now?

Speaker 9 (19:16):
I think it's it is what it is, and if
we keep winning, we'll be ranked. And that's what I
tell our team. It is not about when you get
ranked week six, It's about can you get enough wins
to be ranked at the end.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Yeah, let's play about Michigan coming up on Saturday. So
they're known for their run defense in a lot of ways,
but they gave up one hundred and fifty yards to
a walk on running back at USC on Saturday. Tell
me about that front. They look different than last year's
team for sure, got a couple of guys in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
So what kind of beast are you going up against
us Saturday?

Speaker 9 (19:46):
Yeah, I mean they've got some exceptional defensive linemen as
we as they always do, and they move their starting
linebacker at the defensive end, and he's a fantastic football player.
I think that you look at what they do. They
kind of jump in and out of five down fronts
and you have to mix and match, and they get
a lot of single blocks and they really make a

(20:06):
challenging for your offensive line. USC did a tremendous job
running the football, but that they were the best against
them so far, So we got to work it out
for us to be able to run the ball close
to that.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Level well in demand.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Obviously, we saw him last year come into a hostile
environment the second half at Penn State, but totally different
situation a year ago versus now, How is he better
prepared to handle this atmosphere versus the young guy we
saw a year ago out there.

Speaker 9 (20:30):
Oh well, he said eight stars versus none at that point.
And you know, he's managed to play in a bowl game.
He's managed to play against Ohio State. He knows what
it's like to play at Wazoo. I think the game
in Pullman really helped him because the noise and the
way it was handled. But it's gonna be It's going
to be quite a game, and he knows that it's

(20:51):
gonna be a great atmosphere for him, and he just
has to play within himself.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Great step cook Man, Thanks Man, appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
Michigan allowed I don't know if you saw that Michigan
USC game, one hundred and fifty eight yards to King Miller,
who I think is either a former walk on or
is a walk on at USC to run all over
them on Saturday night at the coliseum. And it's kind
of time for Jonah Coleman to start going bananas on somebody.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Jonah Coleman right now.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Fourteen carries forty four yards Friday thirty two for one
hundred and one the last two games combined.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
He's eighteenth in the Big Ten in rushing.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
If you just include Big Ten conference games and it
feels like that beast is gonna wake up at something.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
You would think so, but you can really tell what
defenses are trying to do first and foremost against them
away like they're just stack in that middle and they're
gonna And that's one of the reasons why Demond was
so effective on Friday Night. Around the end, yeah, I mean, yes,
the edge was wide open for Demond Williams. And I
feel bad for Demond because nobody was Nobody watched him.

(21:50):
Nobody watched the second greatest performance by a Husky quarterback
in history, next to Marcus's three hundred two hundred.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I thought it was a shame that both those games
are on at one time. Absolute shame that both those
games had to be played together on Friday night. Because
you're exactly right, all right, let's get to factor fiction
right now.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
We're set to go.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Glad you're with us.

Speaker 8 (22:09):
It's your shot at our weekly thousand bucks and the
ten thousand dollars grand price. It's fact door fiction, probably
presented by Lucky Eagle casino and hotel where every day
feels lucky. Fact door Fiction is on Sports Radio ninety
three point three KJR FM.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
All right, big thanks to our friends at the Lucky Eagle,
where they're going twenty four baby every Friday and Saturday.
Twenty four hour gaming starts November seventh at Lucky Eagle
dot com. We're gonna go with our gut again here, Dick.
We went with our gut on Thursday and it served
us well. With the Cougars and the thirty two, we
could have taken the Giants Eagles game. I think the

(22:51):
did you like the under?

Speaker 1 (22:52):
And that is that right?

Speaker 4 (22:52):
The Jets and the Giants they both covered.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
So we were good.

Speaker 4 (22:55):
I mean we got the dub regardless of which one
we were going.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
Yeah, but the Cougs was I was sitting on them
all week and I was like, you know what, I
will not be talked out of it. I refuse. So
we took the Coogs. We won, same thing this time.
Buffalo's embarrassed coming off. They're lost in New England. They're
on the road tonight in Atlanta. Jackson just said, Dalton
Kincaid's not gonna play. I don't give a damn. I
think this is a good spot for Buffalo, given three
and a half, coming off the loss over the weekend

(23:20):
at Atlanta and Michael Pennix on Monday Night football in
what about twenty minutes from now right or whatever it is,
So we're gonna take the Bills minus to three and
a half tonight.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
I don't like to have to root against Michael Penicks.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
You don't have to let them win the game forty
three to thirty five. Whatever. Who cares?

Speaker 4 (23:37):
I like it? No, I like your I just.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
Think again Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
I mean the idea of them losing two in a row,
and I just love teams that are either coming off
an emotional high or refocused after a loss the week before.
It's why we like the Seahawks against the Jaguars, and
it's why we like Buffalo tonight. So get him in
factor fiction to four nine, four five to one. You
like Buffalo minus the point, it's it's fact. You hate it,
you think I'm an idiot, It's fiction. The four nine

(24:03):
four to five one all brought to you by our
friends at the Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel. We're gonna
break a little fun with audio from the Emerald Queen
Casino and then.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
A little more four with Hugh Millon.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Baby coming up on ninety three three KJRFM.

Speaker 8 (24:16):
It's now time for Sufday in Diggs Fun with audio
Jimmy g.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Pawn Star, Jimmy mister Garoppolo.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Now let's have some fun with audio, all right.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Here we go three forty six from the Emerald Queen
Casino Sports Book, Hanging Out all Day, Mariner's Blue Jays,
Monday Night Football Chicago, and a Commanders.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
By the way, that game.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Is over on nine to fifty am, because we're gonna
have Jetfish's Coaches Show with Tony castricone live at six
from Joey U Villains Right here on ninety three to
three KJRFM, It's time for a little fun with audio
slash hat.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Did you hear that? Hey, Dick, did you happen to
hear that? Say that, Dick?

Speaker 3 (24:52):
We start in baseball after the Ams beat the Tigers
in Game five of the Alds on Friday.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Which, by the way, how we're what does this great play?

Speaker 3 (25:01):
By the way, when we went off the air on Thursday,
since we've gone off the air on Thursday, you and
me right, because the Husky's on Friday, the Mariners have
won the series against Detroit and they've won a game
in the ALCS. I mean, that's how much this happens.
It's the class on the air doing the show. Well,
here's Tiger's play by play voice Dan Dickerson, and was

(25:23):
caught on a hot mic dropping multiple f bombs after
the Mariners one game five.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
Dan, I'll be back to talk about it after this
on the Detroit Tigers radio network.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
I don't have to do a game.

Speaker 8 (25:39):
This game recap.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Oh, I'm sorry. Three two.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
We are also strong.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
At this game.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
He came out and apologized for that, by the way,
to which Tiger fans are like, dude, don't even apologize.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
I bet Tiger fans like to hear it, because I would.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
I would. I think the same way.

Speaker 5 (25:58):
I would want to know that my broadcaster is in
as much pain as I'm in.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Perc.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Now, look, there's always the FCC angle on that, and
somebody could throw a fin and you'd get fine whatever.
But I just think, like we talked about with Jackson
a few weeks ago, I think people are less and
less offended by things like that now than ever.

Speaker 6 (26:17):
So, no Ques, It's interesting because I have a thirteen
year old niece and she's like just injuring that stage
where you expect to hear like, okay, now you understand swearing.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
She visited a couple weeks ago and she is a sailor.

Speaker 6 (26:33):
Like, I'm like, you know these like you know these
words like this is like this language. It's like no,
it's like you hear it in the halls and everybody's
well aware of this.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
It's different for kids these days.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
And it should be who cares?

Speaker 3 (26:45):
I mean, it's stupid that we're worried about stuff like that.
It's so insane. You know who taught me that lesson?
By the way, the garage.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
It's just a word, just a word. It doesn't mean anything.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
I think there's times and places for it, of course,
of course.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
There are, especially when you know you're on the goal,
of course, yes.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
But I will tell you this, man, if I'm a
Tigers fan, I love it. Number one, number two. I've
had moments like that. You've had moments like that. I
remember after we lost to Montana in twenty twenty, I
was on the air for the postgame show and I
said we lost to a fig high school team, and
somebody was actually recording that somehow somewhere like on the
hallway with a phone, and they ended up taping me,

(27:22):
like violating my privacy.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
I was like, dude, that's kind of creepy. They posted
or something. Yeah, somebody emailed it to me from some
anonymous emails.

Speaker 4 (27:31):
Somebody from Montana.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
No, it was somebody who was in the stadium in
the press spot.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Right, I'm saying, I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
It was just some anonymous email that said, hey, we
heard you off the air going Banana's losing your mind.
Like they were literally standing outside of the booth taping
me in the hallway, which is weird, very very odd.
But I've been there and so of you. I get
it all right. Hey, Dick, did you happen to hear that?

Speaker 1 (27:55):
What's that? Dick? How about?

Speaker 3 (27:57):
During the Fox postgame show from Game five on Friday,
David Ortiz brought out some braarers, tequila, and cigars to
get the Tigers ready for kN Ku.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
With the congratulations of Seattle.

Speaker 1 (28:07):
It is time for vacation for some, isn't it?

Speaker 10 (28:10):
Popb it is Kevin? Guess who's join me in can
kum with my two Yankees buddies. Little tequila, some.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Cigars I drink would be really good right now?

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Some for you, Thank you, circle, My Papa.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Thank you, Sarah, so for you.

Speaker 10 (28:27):
I got them for the Tiger.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
So the Tigers are coming into you.

Speaker 10 (28:31):
At you, I see you in kan kum people all right,
enjoy it. Tiger vacation time.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Is this a reposoo and aho or just h two?

Speaker 5 (28:40):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Sure you find out? Oh first of all two things.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Is there some connection between David Ortiz and Detroit that
he doesn't like him or something like that.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
I think he just does.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
It's just the same thing as what Chuck and Kenny doing.
Gone fishing right, Okay?

Speaker 1 (28:53):
Good. I was gonna say they're not on that level yet,
but they are becoming.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
They're pretty good.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
Chuck, Kenny and Shack of baseball. Pretty good.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
I was, And I don't watch, say like Chuck, Chuck
and Kenny.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
I watch all year long, these guys I've only watched
in the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
You know why, because you don't give a damn care.
I do not.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
I are way more invested in baseball now because the
Mariners are good.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
Well, I watch all the Mariners games.

Speaker 5 (29:21):
I just don't watch any other team play base all
year long and all the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
But now that the Mariners are good, now that we're
in the alcs. Everything is more attractive everything.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
Now you care.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
This guy's getting pissed off because I'm talking too loud,
by the way, I don't want to get beat up.

Speaker 1 (29:39):
All right, Hey, Dick, did you happen to hear that?
What's that? Dick? Okay, let's go over to number three.
You don't have to whisper. He's like five four during well,
you know he's strong.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
During halftime of Indiana's upset win over Oregon, who's Theers?
Head coach Kurt Signetti had this interview with CBS sideline
reporter Jenny Dell.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Jenny, coach, you have preached composure, but we've seen your
emotions come out on the sideline.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Is that intentional? Well you think?

Speaker 4 (30:09):
You tell me? Yeah, you can't let that go.

Speaker 10 (30:14):
You can't let that go.

Speaker 8 (30:15):
Okay, what is your message to your team?

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Now?

Speaker 2 (30:17):
They are jumping off sides. We gots do a better
job of stopping the run.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
We got Quin laying on the ground on defense and
coming back the next play, all right, and we gotta
play better. Is it just me or does Kurt Signetti
look like a combo of Howdy Duty and Dan Ackroyd.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
He was really creepy. Now, that it would.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
It didn't portray it on the radio, but he was
really creepy in the interview. He was like looking at her,
like looking looking at her.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
What did you hear what she said? You tell me?

Speaker 4 (30:45):
Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
It gave me these yes.

Speaker 5 (30:47):
It Kurt Signetti of my In my list of most
dislikable college football coaches, Dan Lanning is number one with
a bullet not just because of where he coaches, right,
I just don't like Dan Lanning. Kurt Signetti might be
number two. So it was hard for me to root
for him on Saturday. But I did root for him

(31:08):
on Saturday. You better believe I watched your dirty mouth.
It is hard for you to root for him.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
I generally agree with you on Segnetty. I think he's
a big mouth, loud mouth, you know what, But I
like him better now after what he did on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
You see who's your fans were rushing the field.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
By the way, there's like a thousand hoo's your fans
on the big O at Austin, Staateia.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
It was freaking phenomenal. Add that to your freaking weekend.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
Naughty cow.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
All right, let's get one more here, Hey, Dick, did
you hang on a second?

Speaker 1 (31:38):
Three, two and one? Did you happen to hear that?
What's that? Dick? Uh? Four or five or six?

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Let's go six?

Speaker 1 (31:45):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
At the end of the Chiefs Lions game on Sunday
Night Football yesterday, Lion safety Brian Branch started a fight
when he sucker punched Juju Smith shoot Store in the face,
buying Head coach Dan Campbell started his postgame press conference
with this reaction.

Speaker 7 (31:58):
Start with this. I love Brian Branch, but what he
did is inexcusable, and uh, it's not going to be
accepted here. It's not what we do. It's not what
we're about. I apologized to uh Coach Reid and and
the Chiefs and uh, you know and Shuster, that's not okay,

(32:18):
that's not what we do here. And uh, it's not
going to be okay. He knows that our team knows it,
and uh so that's that's that's.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Not what we do. Did Juju say something to him
to set him off? We know.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
That, that's my thinking. Well, the way Branch reacted, he
had to have said something.

Speaker 4 (32:37):
Did you see what started the whole thing?

Speaker 5 (32:39):
What started the whole thing was Patrick Mahomes went up
to Branch and stuck his hand out to shake his
hand game or whatever, and Brian Branch just totally dissed
him and walked by him. And that's what got the
rest of the Chiefs pissed off, right, And so that's
probably what made Juju go up and say something to him.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Who knows what he said. I mean, I'm kind of
a Jackson. It's almost like he blalked up to him.
I don't know what he drive. It wasaton like you
remember when Sherman did the Crabtree thing after the NC
Championship and he smacked him on the ass, and Joe
Buck's doing it live and said, well, there's the reaction
from Richard Sherman. And it turns out when you listen
to the micd up thing that Sherman.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Said, good good gig games, the good game, smacked.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Him on the ace, he said good game, and Crabtree
now pushed them in the fire.

Speaker 5 (33:21):
I think Richard Sherman was saying good game, kind of sarcastically,
like if I kicked your ass and something, I'm like, hey, hey,
good game, Hey, good game, you know, and I like,
there's there's a couple of ways to say good game.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
I'm not so sure he was being.

Speaker 1 (33:33):
You know, yeah, maybe maybe you're right.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
I don't think he was being very classy about the
good game.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
I didn't have a problem with it, to be honest
with you, at the time, I didn't think that.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
I think he was genuine. But who who freaking knows? Right?

Speaker 3 (33:44):
I mean, Richard's reputation precedes him, so I understand that
that's that's the fight you're going up against if you're
defending him. Three fifty five Hugh Millen could enjoin a
lot more at four to get to with Hugh, Chuck
and Bucks standing by from the Qualmi Casino for Baseball's
Best post game where the.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Mariners Blue Jays comes to an end.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
We've got Hugh from the Emerald Queen though, next on
ninety three to three kJ RFM.
