trying to defend him. He had an earlier strikeout in

was in his mind, and so now he gets a
high heater inside he may have had. I wasn't in
his head, but I'm just I think there may have
been a correlation that he was worried about another breaking pitch.

why the Mariner offense was so much better in April

back to the prior approach where you're really relying on

most strikeouts, which for the Mariners is a godsend. You
would have put a middle in the middle of baseball
in strikeouts, that's unbelievable. And they were number one in walks,
so fifth, fifth, middle of the packing strikeouts, number one
in walks. And they go sixteen to nine in the

month of April. In May twenty fifth in ops, twentieth
in runs scored, seventh in most strikeouts. So now they're
moving up where you don't want to move up. And
they go from number one to number fourteen in walks.
They're striking out more, they're walking less. And we figured, okay,

the end of April, Well, the offense probably isn't gonna
stay quite this hot. But what did we say, Jackson.
The pitching's gonna get pet it's.

all of a sudden, Waila, we're gonna have starters going
seven innings, which leads you to brash, which leads you
to moon, you know, and we're gonna rattle off those
fourteen fifteen out of twenty like we're able to do
last June.

But right now, I don't know, I don't know how long.

It's gonna be, Hugh, until we see those healthy guys
pitching the way they're supposed to be.

understood there could be all kinds of regressions with respect
to the pitching staff, be it just performance, be it injuries.

a whiffleball nut when I was a kid, I spent

Those are three bad characteristics of an outing man. I
felt sorry for him.

the day. It's baseball, right, You're gonna have two days
stretches in Major League Baseball where you look like a

They're not different now they're a little different now, right,
You got you got the pitching, you got Wu, you
got Miller, you got Castile. Then you then you play
against Baltimore with Kirby, Hancock and Wu. Then you play
against the Angels with Castillo, Herbie at Kirby and Hancock.

Maybe you get Gilbert back by then. I mean, you
just have series after series after series right now, which
just should be able to get two of three, two
of three, two of three, and you're back on it.

But if this offense continues to sputter like it's done
really for other than one game over the last week,
then that's when you bring these one and two series
against bad baseball teams into fruition.

could go awry.

been like elite top three quarterback in THE. NFL i
mean when you take a look at their best, years

the eighty four they were second in scoring. Defense, Now
Kurt warner did go down in eighty, four but they
were a run team in eighty. Three they had to

become a pass team in eighty four when he went.
Down but two thousand and, five we don't look back
at that team and, say, oh that was just an elite, defense.

the guy to uh in your gap or or shoulder,

you can't get beat in gap scheme blocking as a,
center but in it as a general, rule IT i
think most centers would say it's more difficult to run
a zone blocking scheme towards the point of attack as

that narrowly because there's there's challenges with the gap skeing blocking,

too because because there's more space to lose the. Block
even though you're not reaching towards the point of, attack
you're you're you're, blocking you're blocking to the right while
the point of attack is to the. Left you still
can lose those. Blocks so so my point is that
what's the Conclusion there may BE i there may be
ninety nine reasons Why Ola timmy won't play well as
the center for The, seahawks but sighting team is probably not,

the guy to uh in your gap or or shoulder,

As as a general, rule now that's not to say
you can't get beat in gap scheme blocking as a,
center but in it as a general, rule IT i
think most centers would say it's more difficult to run
a zone blocking scheme towards the point of attack as

that narrowly because there's there's challenges with the gap skeing blocking,

too because because there's more space to lose the. Block
even though you're not reaching towards the point of, attack
you're you're you're, blocking you're blocking to the right while
the point of attack is to the. Left you still
can lose those. Blocks so so my point is that
what's the Conclusion there may BE i there may be
ninety nine reasons Why Ola timmy won't play well as
the center for The, seahawks but sighting team is probably not,

one citing that he didn't, play that he didn't play
Run the scheme At michigan is not one of those,
