First of all is a match with Pete Carroll and
then second of all, if he doesn't fall to six,
where does he end up going?

Man, Well, I'm intrigued. There's so many things to respond
to you here, but I'm intrigued with these stories because
if you look and you say, okay, the Raiders, let's
pick two extremes, the Raiders really desperately want Sudure and
they would love to grab him at six, or they
have no point. They wouldn't even drafted him in the
draft him in the second round. The this just feels

like lying season, Like tell me why the Raiders would
benefit from any principle divulging that they have interest. Look,
it seems to me they that one reason that they
would leak this is that they want to drive up
the trade price right for somebody if they do want them,

whether it's the Steelers or whomever, to move up at six.
But you know, you know one thing that I feel
very confident in kind of reporting, if if you look
at the Raiders structure, this is coming from a guy
that was interviewed by the Raiders to be the head coach.
The way the meeting involved four people on the Raiders end.

It was Tom Brady, it was uh Mark Davis, and
then it was two of the minority owners business guys.
I'm not sure if it was Tom Wagner, Egon Durbin
or Michael Mehlbman. There's three, two of the two of
the three. But in any event, here's the report. Tom
Brady was running the entire interview in terms of of

all the questions towards the head coaches. Okay, so this
guy is involved, now Brady, why would that be relevant?
Brady has had a relationship with Dion obviously, but Shador
Sanders front going back to youth football, and he guided
him in high school and particularly early on in the college.
They've worked out together, They've had a long relationship. Shador

Sanders has has tweeted about their relationship and that obviously,
you know, he says Brady's the goat and all that.
So I'm just wondering, you know, is that a possibility
that Brady really gets involved, because now we don't know
that just because they have the relationship that Tom Brady.
Even if if you posit all of that, Tom Brady

may quietly say, hey, look, I really like the kid.
He's Dion's son, blah blah blah, but I don't see
him as a prospect for my football team. So I'm
not saying that that would transpire. But I do think
it's interesting that Tom Brady, at least if you reflect
on the coach process, Tom Brady really has his footprints
on this, and there is a relationship with Brady and Sanders.

Well, I know how deep you go into this scouting.
You don't just look at a guy on film and
then check it off and say, oh, I've done Shador Sanders.
So I know you've taken a look at more Shador
Sanders since the last time we talked about Sanders and
what has come out of this further study.

Well, I'm still going and I really have to fight
my confirmation bias. Just the things he said and what
he did in that Nebraska Dave and I talked about
it last week. I'm not going to get into that,
but I am really just wondering what all the fuss is.
The latest game that I watched was the Bowl game

against BYU. There was not an impressive play on that
tape until six thirty six to go in the third quarter.

I mean, it is an absolute junk show. When you
there's a whole cottage industry of quarterback coaches and you've
heard of him, Jordan Palmer, Carson Son, you know these
personal coaches, Steve Clarkson, you may know that name, Darryl
Colbert is cam Ward and Sanders private quarterback coach, Jay
Keeps locally, my man, Chris Miller, my former teammate in Atlanta,

former Duck. Like the list is too long to even list,
but that industry is gonna just evaporate if there's success here.
Because when you watch Sedur Sanders in the pocket, it's
like recess and the bell rang and it's like, hey,
last play, there is no discipline whatsoever. He is all

over the place. There are drops from which I'm just unfamiliar.
He'll take one step like he's crossing over, and then
he'll just turn into a backpedal. He'll drift in top
like game after game after game, he is constantly behind
the the B gap, the C gap. I'll tell you what.
His feet are a mess. And and there's all this
discussion about how much he's pressured. Let me throw this

out out at Yeah, you think of Michael Pennix's last
year with Washington and behind the Jill Moore Award winning
offensive line, there's this thought that, okay, he was just
at this beautiful line. So if you go by Pro
Football Focus and their pressure stats, which all the NFL
subscribe teams subscribe to, all the college teams subscribe to.

Now it is subjective, but at least there is there
is some methodology to all of this. So shaduor sanders
Uh is at twenty eight point seven percent pressure rate,
what do you think Michael Pennix was, Well, I'm gonna
twenty five point one percent. I mean it's a little less,
but it's not egregiously less and and I'll just tell

you this because this this it's with my tape study.
The average time to throw from the pocket for all
college quarterbacks last year, all college quarterbacks were two point
three to three seconds in the pocket. So if you
take the pressure percentage of all throws two point three
to three or less, the average was twelve point eight
percent for all college quarterbacks. Shular Sanders was ten point

two percent, far less than the average. Here's a list
of quarterbacks who were more pressured than should or Sanders
last year. You're probably going to recognize quarterbacks from good
teams that you think have good offensive line. Quinn Yours
was more pressured. Will Howard was more pressured. Will Rogers
was more pressured. Dylan Gabriel was more from Morgan was

more pressure Kyle McCord like long list. So I don't know,
you just he there are times he specializes in the
quick game. But if it's not the quick game, his
feet are a mess, his placement are a mess, and

lot locked into a long term quarterback, like Obviously, the
Brown's got to figure out that Deshaun Watson situation. But hell,

Wilson on what a one year, two year deal something short,
Drake May's on his rookie deal, Trevor Lawrence has a
big contract in Jacksonville. Raiders have nothing, Jets have nothing,

the Panthers have Bryce Young and then here comes the
Saints at number nine. Right with this story about Derek
Carr and his injury, they could keep him out the
entire year. They can get out of his contract for
