Speaker 3 (00:47):
It's our buddy, Lee Sterling. How are you pal?

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I'm good, good to everything good in Madison.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Uh yeah, I'm surrounded by purple and gold. I mean,
what more do you want?

Speaker 5 (00:58):
Man?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
We got we got beer, we got booze, we got food,
we got the dog fans.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
As it started snowing yet here in Madison. So we're
all good. But twenty eight, twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
One and one overall, another winning week three and two
on the air, And I'll tell you what would be
great is if Iowa could somehow, some way. Actually, this
has been a point of contention because there's a lot
of Dog fans that think that maybe we should be
rooting for Oregon to beat Iowa to make that game
in late November a little more meaningful. So Oregon is
on the road at Iowa and they're given six and

(01:30):
a half against the Hawkeyes.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
What do you think?

Speaker 5 (01:33):
All right? So i was improved, they've scored.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
They couldn't I mean they couldn't score last year. I
mean this year, last five out of seven games at
least twenty five points or more. Last week's game a
little deceptive because they scored forty one points on only
two hundred and seventy four total yards. It was fueled
by three turnovers. I like their second year offensive coordinator
Tim Lester. Big improvement there. Think that Prince though is

(02:01):
and Iowas defense is good. I think Oregon just has
three running backs that can go the distance on any play,
averaging between six point nine and nine point nine yards
per rush, and they got a couple receivers that can
take the top off the defense, and they might hit
on some big plays. And it still takes Iowa eight ten, twelve,
fourteen plays to score a lot of times.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
Here. Weather's not going to be great, but Ducks are
used to that. That's where they're from. Ducks twenty seven sixteen.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
Well, it doesn't sound like doesn't sound like the weather's
going to be great. Where SOFTI is either Wisconsin and
Camp Randle. Not much buzz going on in that state
for Badger football and they are giving or getting ten
and a half points from the Dogs.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
I think that one of their quarterbacks, Billy Edwards, he
was practicing a couple of weeks ago. I just don't
think he wants to play. He was from Maryland.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
I think that he's packed it in, going to try.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
To get a six year this quarterback Hunter sim is,
there's two touchdowns, five interceptions. I mean, they're leading rusher
three hundred yards, rushing their top two running backs under
four yards to carry receivers. I mean, it's it's horrendous.
I think also, I think the Dogs are gonna hit

(03:18):
on some big plays here. I don't think the cornerbacks
are anything special for the Badgers. It's gonna be a
long night for the Badgers, but a happy, happy game
here for the Huskies. Let's go with the dogs here
big thirty five to ten?

Speaker 5 (03:33):
All right?

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Love it.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Now you start thinking about, hey, you know what, we're
already here in Wisconsin. Maybe we'll hang around for the
Packers Eagles game on Monday night. That sounds fun. Actually, no,
that doesn't sound fun at all. I don't want to
get to Green Bay and get stuck out there and
have to sit here until Tuesday. So we're gonna let
the fans that live here take care of that one.
But green Bay at home at Lambeau giving a point

(03:54):
and a half on Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
So I think Packers are one of these teams. Every
year there's two three teams for like seven eight weeks, they.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Do the zigzag.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
They win one week and then the next week they
lose against the spread. That seems to be the Packers.
So a couple of weeks ago, took care of Pittsburgh predominant.
Last week horrible against Carolina. I think the receivers are
starting to get some separation now, and also think that
mettal four when he's on, really one of the best
play callers in Philly. A lot of people they'll play

(04:28):
on a team when they acquire some players before the
trade deadline. And I think they did make their defense better,
but I still think their secondary isn't good enough here
and they lost five guys to free agency. I think
the Packers are.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
The right side. Twenty seven to twenty three Big.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
NFC whatts matchup? Forty nine? Ers were three and a
half point dogs. Now they're four and a half point
dogs at home against the Rams. Is the line's moving up?

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Who do you like?

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Yeah? And I think the Rams are the right side.
That first game this year was crazy. I mean San Francisco.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Down so many players punched the Rams in the face
that big lead to start the game fourteen nothing never
look back here. They control the ball and the clock.
But I think this is going to be different here.
Keith to San Francisco stocking stopping him slung down on
first down, get him get him into some third and six,
third and eight situations, and I think they realized that.

(05:23):
So also, ram stellar record is road favorites twenty eight
and seven straight up twenty two and thirteen against the
spread in road games. I like the Rams here thirty
to twenty one.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
All right, Well, the Hawks back home against Arizona taking
on the Cardinals. They're making the switch to the Jacoby Brissette.
Kyler Murray is going on the ir with a foot injury,
and they're turning the ball over to JB. Hawks given
six and a half against the Cardinals a lumin on Sunday.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
I mean, Jacoby Brissett, it looked great. I never thought
i'd say it a couple of years ago. Looked like
he was finished in the league. But has a really
good feel for the game, and I think he's the
better quarterback for this team. I don't know if they're
gonna move on from Kyler Murray at the end of
the year, but if he keeps doing it, maybe I
think they're gonna be able to score some against the
Seattle defense. But I think this Seattle secondary.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Can be had.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Just got to get on top here, and I think
I think the receivers also, I mean, just getting open
left and right, and I don't think Arizona can stop
him here.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Seattle twenty eight to seventeen.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
All right, Lions, Commanders, your game of the Week Jayden
Daniels out Marcus Mario to d But as usual, you
got something up your sleeve, don't you.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
I always do be one of the first five callers
called eight hundred four hundred nine to seven four one,
give you the game for free. Eight hundred four hundred
nine to seven four to one. Game is on me,
Lions commanders, and got a couple of things brewing here.
If you like the UFC six selections, it's a super
pack six dollars, not thirty six or.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Sixty six, which it normally is. So you want to
bet on the UFC six selections six bucks a dollar
a selection. And we don't call it November, call it Dovember.
You can get every single game to the end of
the month.

Speaker 4 (07:13):

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Let's keep rolling Paramount sports dot com.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Dick am I nuts or do he just take every
favorite on the board. By the way, this week.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
First time, first time all year, first time all year.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Hey, favorites cover two.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Sometimes favorites of people too, Lee, all right, great stuff,
and we're talking a week man.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Thanks pal, Okay, chill you guys.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Thanks all right. Oregon minus is six and a half
in Iowa.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Husky's minus the points here tomorrow at Wisconsin Packers, minus
the point and a half at home versus Philly Rams,
minus the four and a half at the Niners, and
the Hawks minus six and a half against Arizona. We
got about a minute here by the way to kind
of goof around. He said something interesting there that he
thinks the Seahawks his secondary can be had.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
I think he meant Cardinals. He meant he said Shawks.
He meant Cardinals, because then he talked about how the
passing game is gonna rip the Cardinals.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
Right, Because that was a little confusing for me too.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
But then I thought to myself, did we at one
point start having a conversation about the secondary being a
little banged up and maybe they could have used some
help like the Mariner bullpen could have.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Used some help.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
And I do wonder I think you're right that he
misspoke there, but I do wonder if we're gonna look
back and wonder, should the Seahawks have maybe been a
little more aggressive Dick and trying to help out that
secondary at the dead line.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
I think they were more aggressive by not trading Tarek Wollan.
That's how they helped out the secondary.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
I think the best they could have done is Yeah,
I think I think that.

Speaker 6 (08:45):
I think Tarek Wollan is. And I'm not a big
fan of Tarek Wollan, but I understand the talent and
I think he's probably better than anything you could have
gotten out there without trading a high draft pick.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Cal Roley has won a major award.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
We're gonna tell you what a major award, and then
Danny Canal will join next on ninety three three KJRFM.
