(01:36):
you right now because the show's running late. We're gonna
talk to Big three in the MLB, who has the
best Big three bats in the MLB right now in
the potential playoff season? And another segment of who might
be ass plus riches picks so far on over promised
one O three and if we don't have over proms
(01:56):
one on nine, I should say, and if we don't
have time, maybe we do some coach. But right now,
old school and fifty hits. This has to do with
Central Perk, which is now a real thing, and it's
more hilarious, said Caveno. So yeah, but you make it
out like I'm downplaying the memothity and popularity of Friends.
(02:17):
I'm just saying, if you think that's common knowledge everybody,
not everybody watched the show. I didn't watch it. I mean,
sixty million people watch a finale. But I think it's cool,
and I'm not denying that people loved it. You and
I've interviewed Matt LeBlanc. I think it was a great, dude.
It was the biggest TV show as far as ratings
other than the Mesh. I know the references. I know
when you're saying pivot, pivot, I know the stupid things
(02:38):
you're talking about. I just didn't know that the I
guess they hung out with Central Park. Again, not one
of my top five to ten shows, but I think
everyone's maybe sort of those Central Perk. So based on
their hangout on the show. Do you know the rembrands?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
I do.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
How many claps did they do? Four? One, two, three, four?
Some people think it's five.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
By the way, this permanent New York locate. You guys
are East Coast tomies. Do you know where this is?
The northeast corner of Seventh Avenue and forty seventh Street.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
I know exactly where it is, the northeast corner of
seventh Avenue, but that's pretty cool. So based on this story,
what are some other fictional locations in TV movies that
you really do wish you could have been to and
have checked out? It would have been my local neighborhood
coffee shop, Danny G. Where did you say forty seventh
and seventh?
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, forty seventh and seventh.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
When I lived in New York before we moved to LA,
the last place I lived was forty eighth and eighth,
So literally, ablakaway.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
You would have been laying on the couch in there.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
All right, Now, I got some great answers. I think
I have the best answer, but I don't want to
take away from anyone's fun, So we'll go to the phones.
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox. Are you saying you don't want
to pull on Irish Sam? According to Dan Bayer, take
all the good answers, Yeah, exactly. I don't have one today,
so Phil, really, Yeah, I got a few goods best
fictional hang I got a few. I know you got
(03:58):
a few, So let's have ana. We'll start with Tim
in New York State? What's up?
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Timmy? Yoh?
Speaker 5 (04:05):
I was gonna say most Iley Cantina from Star Wars.
Oh yeah, that Disney World. I just got back from
my honeymoon there. I'm not even the big Disney guy,
but you go there and you're you're just totally immersed
in it, and me and my new wife he came
back and for big Disney guys.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Now, oh man, I went there on my recent trip.
It's so awesome and it does fulfill that fantasy, like wow,
because you saw that as a kid, and you're like,
that's the coolest thing ever. Honestly, that was one of
my first thoughts. I knew someone was going to say that,
but that wasn't my answer. Great answer, and if you
have never visited, you gotta check that out. Great answer.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Great Also at Disneyland, every time.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
You hang out and party with Sam, he hears that
song in his head. Yeah, this song is playing on
a loop twenty four to seven. Let's say I had
a Tom in Florida. Tomm you with Coveno Writch on
Fox Sports Radio. It's up, Tom.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
It's easy for me. Guys.
Speaker 7 (04:54):
In the daytime, I'd go get a cup of.
Speaker 8 (04:57):
Ghoul sandwich from Santrelli's pork Shop. Night, I'd go get
some zamba from bottom Bing.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Oh, now hold on, now set Tray Alleys was a
real place because we would I'd pass that. That's great,
that was a real place. The botta bing was also
a real place, but it was called Stilettos. Right, no, no, no,
hold on, hold on, hold on, I know what it is.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Go on.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Oh it was also starts with an nests. It's not sapphire. No,
hold on, two words? What was this fire satin dog doll?
Speaker 7 (05:28):
That was it?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
It was called saturin dolls and uh yeah, we used
to go every once in a while in New Jersey,
but for the TV show it was called Bada bing.
So that's a great answer. Gobaol guy's getting some gabba
ghoul and he's getting some left dances. Not a bad answered, Timmy.
Let's say how to Shane in Illinois. Shane, what fictional hang?
What fictional hang would you want to go to? In
(05:49):
honor of the real central perk opening up in Times Square?
Speaker 6 (05:54):
Hey, what's up? Fellas? Love the show?
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Thanks being a ninety being a ninety baby and growing
up the tooth thousands.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
I want to go to a bikini bottom and eat
at the Krusty Crab.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
That's a good one.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
That's perfect for National Cheeseburger Day too.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
That's great. You know, that's just one of those shows
that regardless of how old you are, you still get
a kick out of his.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Great of course man great an eighties one Coveno. I
thought you were going to say this first the Silver
Spoons House.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Oh, the house I'm thinking, and restaurants. I'm thinking it
could be any fictional location. Did you say the Silver
Spoon House? And you say you want to be on
a little train with Ricky Schroeder. Big Mike who runs
his place, said that he wants to hang at the
poolhouse at Uncle Phil's house. You know, Will had a
set up that a sweet pool his where Will lived
(06:41):
in the beach house in the beach house in the
guest house is nice of the most people's real house.
Can I set you once again? I don't think I've
seen one episode of Serious.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
What are you doing in the night? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (06:52):
I was, you know, I was on the prow bro
That's what I was doing. How big a Dayton Hotties
is what I focused on.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Girls?
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Were you that you didn't watch Friends or fresh Prints?
Like baseball practice?
Speaker 2 (07:03):
All?
Speaker 6 (07:03):
Right?
Speaker 3 (07:03):
Time?
Speaker 4 (07:03):
For that we at least saw reruns of this as
a kid in the late eighties. Cavino threes company.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
Oh it's my number one answer.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Oh mine too, I wrote it down.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Then take it.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Yeah, go for it.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Covino, all right, I'll say this because I know what
you're going to say. My number one answer is Jack
spe Strokes. I always wanted to see it. I always
wanted to see what Felippe was cooking up. Okay, we
have the same show, but I think a different location. Joking,
I know exactly what you're going to say.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
I was going to say Chrissy's apartment, the apartment complex. No, no,
tool that we're thinking of the same show.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Regal Beagle is the coolest place to me. Like, I know,
it's a dated show, but growing up, man, it looked
like they were getting so much late seventies booty at
that place, having so much fun. Larry was always meeting
some Lona type of woman. There were no there were
no cell phones obviously, so you remember Larry would always
knock on the door the Regal Beagle, Jack, I got
two hotties down at the Regal Beagle. The Regal d
(07:57):
was such a big part of that show where I
lived in Los Angeles, so you know, I grew up
on the East coast. Danny fill in the blanks for me.
Are they are they insinuating that they lived maybe like
the Third Street Promenade and said, sort of like the vibe,
like that was the Hester in Santa Monica. Yeah, right there,
right by the water in Santa Mona, somewhere right there
the Regal Beagle was my answer. You said, Chrissy's apartment. Well,
(08:20):
I shit that cool, little Remember the janet actually poured
the water on her by mistake.
Speaker 8 (08:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
In the opening credits, were they down at the San
Diego Zoo for one of them? I think right, yeah, correct,
And then they were playing bumper cars at the Santa
Monica appear.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
And then there's the famous stairs and I remember as
a little kid, my mom saying, look there's the stairs
from Three's Company.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
So here's what I had written down. I'm gonna I'll
give you mine and we'll finish up with the phone
calls eight seven seven ninety nine Fox Fictional Places You'd
like to visit based on Central Perk, which is a
new place in New York, an actual place.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Now.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
I had Star Wars canteena written down. I had reg
Regal Beagle from Three's Company. I had have Arnold's from
Happy Days, just because I mean it was sort of
like a very common backdrop on that show, like they're
always hanging at it at Arnold's where Big Al was
working Pat Marita early on Arnold's, Rob's Place from What's Happening,
(09:15):
That's where Shirley worked. It's where all those fat jokes
were being told. Like it was a major backdrop to
these shows. Rob's Place, that's the diner from What's Happened.
That's why when we said the max before, I feel like, say,
by the Bell, the kids would always end up at
that cool diner with the magician waiter and everything, And
you said it's National Cheeseburger that I'd like to get
a cheeseburger from Shirley from Rob's Place on What's Happening.
(09:36):
All Right, I got a couple that I don't know
if you'll remember the name, but I got two that
I think are great answers.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Good.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
I think, are you saying your answers are the best?
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Is that what it could be?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
I'm a big how I met your mother fan, So
I always felt like I wanted to get a beer
at McLaren's, which was the bar they always hung out at.
They had their booth at McLaren's, Saint Bartender. You know,
it's where Barney would always hit out of real place
in the city. Is that like a Pig and Whistle
or something. It's based off a bar in the city
in Midtown right around Time Square. But it wasn't a
real place. But it's not an actual real place. Mclarence
(10:13):
and I got it. Got to give him credit. I
want to steal his answer. But our buddy Malser in
Cincinnati hit us up and he goes. The name of
the strip club Al Bundy would always go to was
called the Jiggly Room. When Al would when Alan and
Jefferson would go to the Jiggly Room, That is great.
That's such a great one. Yeah, good call. I would
love to go with Alan, Jefferson and Steve. Let's just
(10:35):
bring Steve in. Dwight in Kentucky. By the way, you
more of a Steve or Jefferson guy, I'm more of
a street wrapper Grandmaster b sort of a Bud Buddy
Bundy guy, Dwight, what's up man? You're on in Kentucky? Hey,
what's up.
Speaker 6 (10:49):
I got two quick corners like, yeah, I don't know
if you remember him. They kind of old, but one
you limb a Martin Lawrence.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Show, of course, Martin Yeah, yes.
Speaker 6 (10:59):
Okay, and then Jamie Fox Show. They used to hang
out with the King's Tower.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
I used I wonder what they would be like, you know,
they're there a lounge bar.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Yeah, hey man. We actually talked to Martin Lawrence about
that and took a lot of pride in it because
on the show he was a radio host, so we
always thought that was really cool, no doubt. All right,
let's say hello to Josh and Pa. By the way,
thanks for the call, Dwight. What's up, Josh?
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Hey, Josh, Hey Rich Bang Bang on again.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Let's go. Oh yeah, nice talking to you, buddy.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
My spot is a fictional room inside of a real building.
It'd be Molder and Scully from the X Files office
inside the FBI building, and hopefully i'd be a bit
a good little alone time. But agent sculling, you know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Guy wants a little alone time sculling X Files not
I was never a big fan, but I know the
reference he's talking about. Oh that's a Rocky Show. That
was a good show. They came up with some good plots.
You ever see the one about the troop of Cabra,
It's a good one. The movie was pretty good too.
(12:08):
I feel it's been a lot of other fictional locations.
Would you like to visit? It's a fun question. Let's
go to Tulsa and say what's up to John? What's
up John?
Speaker 6 (12:18):
Hello? Thanks taking my call. Guys long, I'm going to
age myself here. But the original Gene Wilder Willie Wonk
in the Chocolate Factory. I'd love to visit that or
make that for my kids.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Room Edible.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
Hold on, there was this related story, Like, what's also
cool about this question is because through theme parks and
pop up shops and even Central Perk, the recent story,
it's like it could be a possibility or reality in
the future, right for the fun of it, for nostalgia,
and our generations love nostalgic. Now, there was a story
(12:54):
recently where they tried to do some sort of pop
up event where it was Willy Wonka, remember, and it
turned out to be a disaster.
Speaker 6 (13:00):
It was terrible.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
Yeah, everyone wanted their money back. They actually tried to
do this and it was a big, big story where
they ripped off all their customers. They tried to recreate
it and it didn't work out the way our boy
here fantasized. But yeah, it's a cool answer. Uh Rico
in Virginia? What's ab Rico?
Speaker 6 (13:16):
Hey, what's up? When I was a kid, I always
wanted to go to Bay Side and afterwards hang out
with my schoolmates. That the Max.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
It's a great answer, man. Honestly, it's you know, that's
where Zach and Lisa Turtle did the Spring, That's what
Slater did. That work, Slater did that cool dance. It
is fand actually who else do we got? Uh Danny?
The phones were all living man, the chiming in in
the meantime, let me bring up I know it's a cartoon,
and I'm surprised Iowa Sam hasn't thought of it. Since
(13:44):
I thought of this, I know, I know where you're going.
I want to get a beer at most tavern or
what or let's go with the drunken clam where you're going,
Let's go get a duff at mos the duff at Mos.
Or if you're a family guy fan, you d Dad's man,
go get a go, get a brew haha at the
drunken clam always always Sonny. Yeah, I was thinking about
the bar there. What's that bar called Patty? Yeah, that's
(14:06):
a that's a good one as well. A lot of
great answers, your thoughts. Let's go to Jeff. You're on
What's up, Jeff? Men what you got.
Speaker 6 (14:20):
I'm wondering how no one has said cheers with the
Norm and the Gang or monks from Seinfeld?
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Yeah, last hour at the end of last hour, we did.
But hey, people are joining every second, So thank you Jeff,
and cheers by the way. Uh Comno, you and I
went to the we went to Cheers. I'm sure it's
a little different. But in Boston, did I not go
with you?
Speaker 6 (14:39):
Mmm?
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Look at that? I went without you somewhere. I mean,
we've been in Boston together. I'm not sure. But I
do have a mug in my house, so was it there?
Speaker 3 (14:47):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
I have like a Cheers mug from Cheers. How about
Burger World? Yeah, Burger World. I feel like we've now
all the good TV ones or their movie ones were forgetting.
Did someone go somewhere in a movie?
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (15:04):
I think the Star Wars Canteen is the number one answer.
I think that is the coolest one. I mean, did
you ever want to go to a Chucks Bikarama and
Pee's Big Adventure? Any any stores or or hangs in
a movie that you liked as a kid. Some of
those places are real place. Do you want to go
a Pee's Playhouse?
Speaker 6 (15:21):
Way?
Speaker 1 (15:21):
That's also that's a great answer, that's really great. But
that's also a third street promenade in Peewe's Big Adventure,
if I'm not mistaken. And the dinosaurs that's somewhere up
to pH You remember those weird dinosaurs they went and
visited in the movie Naked Gun. Because the first time
I think a road trip and I saw that, I
was like, oh my god, it's some pee Wee's Big Adventure. Remember, uh,
(15:42):
it is a thrill, right, It is cool to see
that stuff. Remember Naked Gun. Leslie Nielsen goes everywhere I look,
I think of her. And he's passing those two like
oil things at that's in the same area. It looks
like two big boobs. That's on the way down to
San Diego. Were they oil canisters?
Speaker 3 (15:56):
What are those things?
Speaker 1 (15:57):
I don't know. I thought they're a big giant metal boobs. No,
I think there's a purpose. I was thinking of, like
Doc Brown's house in Back to the Future. That's so
funny because it sounds cool, right, you'd love to see
all these things. Yeah, The Brady Bunch House is like, yeah,
five minutes away from here, and we've never I've never.
Speaker 9 (16:13):
Drove past it ever. I've seen it in person in
front really studio city. Yeah, so it's about fifteen minutes
on the road, I mean from where I live though,
it's right down the street. It's a nice neighborhood.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
It's kind of nice though, like we've never like one day,
can we just like take a rye five, Let's do it.
Let's get every we live out here. But thanks again
for participating for all your phone calls. Again, there's a
central perk now based on the popular show Friends in
New York City. So what fictional place would you like
to visit? Let us know, Jerry in West Virginia. We'll
(16:42):
wrap through the rest of these and then we'll tuck
a little more NFL. What's up, Jerry?
Speaker 8 (16:47):
Oh God, thanks for taking my call. But I have
always won a party after a huge Bayside Tiger's victory
at the Max and dance with Lisa Turtle.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Dude, it's the number one answer apparently except Richard. I
want to dance with Mario Lopez, so you ever see
him dance in the in a single.
Speaker 10 (17:05):
Lisa Turtle making an unexpected upset bit over Kelly Cas.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
Where no one's mentioned Kelly. Who is the I at
the Max? Everyone? I think everyone thinks of that episode
where Lisa heard her leg right and they had the
dance contest and she had to do the sprain. Let
me ask you for real, when you went to the
Max pop up shop?
Speaker 3 (17:26):
Was it fun?
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah? Because when they do a great job replicating it,
it is kind of cool.
Speaker 6 (17:30):
You know.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
I took my kids to a Bluey pop up and
they replicated like the Cartoon House, and it was pretty cool.
They did it at the Topanga whatever it is that
the mall whatever. If you're a parent and they do
these things, I think you should definitely take the kids.
Like they've They've opened up a bunch of like Sanrio,
Hello Kitty pop up shops everywhere. There a lot of fun.
Kids get a big hick out of it, So definitely
(17:53):
take advantage of this. Robin Saint Louis, what's up?
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Hey?
Speaker 7 (17:56):
Rob Big guys as a going you know, you mentioned
Martin Lawrence before, which remind me of those early nineties
Fox shows. How about hanging out at the Melrose place
in the pool with the chicks there.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Huh, I'm down for that. That was the hang. That
sounds fun. That was the hang that that's you know
when you were younger, that's what you thought, you know, La,
that's what it's like. Huh. Yeah, let's go man, right,
Kent and May I thought that's the life we'd be
living out here, But most of the times at home
watching football, let's have Kent, what's up?
Speaker 8 (18:25):
Man, Hey, how's it go? And so I think somebody
brought it up earlier, but I've actually been to the
actual drunken clam in Boston.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
From the family guy.
Speaker 8 (18:34):
That's great, and it was it was more geared, I guess,
more towards everything like their house as well, but it
was it was pretty neat to go there.
Speaker 6 (18:45):
Pretty good theme.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Well, they came up with the list. I wanted to
use our own imagination and we did so. Now that
we got around out the way a Fewy's playhouse answer,
I thought that was pretty good. Yeah, that's a pretty
good answer. Best hangs in TV shows. BuzzFeed put out
a list a couple of years back, and yeah, they
have everything from How I Met Your Mother's McLaren's to
(19:07):
Nemo's Pizza and Everybody Loves Raymonds. I'm trying to think,
was that that big of a backdrop the Max Save
by the Bell, Monk's Cafe Seinfeld The hub on that
seventy show was that some of them, some of these,
I'm like, do they make the list? What do you got,
sam My?
Speaker 9 (19:22):
Okay, it's It's Gomez's vault in the Adams Family. It's
where Uncle Fester and Gomez go down into like the
water vault and then go Uncle Fester takes the top
off of like a cognac bottle and everything switches around
and you're in this like endless hallway.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Of all these gold to balloons and jewels.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I would like to be in there.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Wouldn't you rather go see Grandpa Munster working on some
stuff in the basement. No, yeah, that sounds.
Speaker 9 (19:47):
Adam's family house in general would be like a fun
thing for me. I want to do the thing where
you pull the chain.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
I'm gonna go water. You know, if I had a
choice to go hang with the munsters, or the Adams
be the monsters all day. House alone is just full
of wonder by pure coincidence, Iowa Sam on this day
the Adams Family debut in nineteen sixty four. No way, wow,
look at that. I must have felt the vibe.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
It all comes together.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
That's your uncle, your inner uncle, Fester.
Speaker 3 (20:14):
Can I give you guys a black and white one?
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (20:16):
Sure, My grandma would be proud of me for saying
this one. The Tropicana Club. I love Lucy cannot be
in the show. You want to be in the in
the bottle with the genie with I dream a genie.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
Oh that went to color?
Speaker 1 (20:28):
Yeah, well it was in black and white white. That
was all right. So we'll wrap it up with actually,
well people love talking about this. Well I will take
too more. We'll go to Dave and Kevin and then
we'll talk some more NFL Dave in North Cali. What's up, man,
how's it going? What's up?
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Bud?
Speaker 1 (20:44):
What you got?
Speaker 6 (20:46):
I got?
Speaker 2 (20:46):
I got two one of them I don't know the
name of, but the Viporium and days and confused.
Speaker 6 (20:51):
Good one nice and the restaurant on goodies.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
The restaurant. Oh, Yeah, who's the rest. Yeah, there's a
name for it.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Let me think, Oh, the Fortelly's when he were they're
in there in the in the in he gets put
in the freezer.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
Oh yeah, that was a restaurant. And that was like
a closed restaurant. Remember when Mama Fortelli gave him like
yellow water? How about was it when I was the
pirate one eyed Jack? What I really when i'd will
you excuse me?
Speaker 3 (21:17):
When I jack?
Speaker 1 (21:18):
Who's one e Jack? How about one eyed Willy ship?
I have that that like that inner cove that's like
covered by rock.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
The Lighthouse Lounge was the name of that Rundown restaurant.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Ah, look at you guys. All right, So the rest
of your answers, and the more you think about, like
eighties movies come to mind, like, yeah, I always wish
that I had look kind of cool. Think about it.
Let us know at Covino and Rich at Fox Sports Radio,
I'm sticking with my answer the regal Beagle and with
Kevin Kevin, Ohio, what's up? Man?
Speaker 6 (21:45):
You got the last say, Hey, how's it going, guys?
What's up?
Speaker 2 (21:49):

Speaker 6 (21:50):
Uh, first off, shout out to Tropic Canna. That's awesome.
But two places. I'm riding the backpole down to the
back Cave in nineteen sixty six.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Good one.
Speaker 6 (21:59):
And I'm also tend to the boards nests and hang
with the Duke boys.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
That's a good one. I'm thinking of some of my
favorite movies. I'm like, do we want to go to
Billy Madison's like Mansion Shampoo is Beta? Do we want
to go? Is there anywhere we want to go from?
Like an Old Sandler or Jim Carrey movie.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
I was thinking of sci fi, like nobody said any
other worlds really except for the Star Wars answer, But like,
think Avatar.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
I don't want to go to Shushang Prison.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
I don't want to go there.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
I'll tell you, you know, after going on that Pandora
Avatar ride. What's it called the what's it called Avatar
or something flight or whatever. Yeah, it's insanely dope. It's
insanely dope. That's one of the coolest lands in Animal Kingdom.

Speaker 1 (26:06):
That's pretty cool. Yeah, it's a good old school one.
And Bob, you got a favorite burger real quick ahead.
Speaker 6 (26:11):
Yeah, I'm a friend, I'm a McDonald's.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
Guy, mcdimill. I'll get old Mickey d's not McDowell's. Yeah,
that mcdowells is way better. Shads were of a McDowell's.
Dowas has the Golden Arts. In fact, that's where I'd
love to go Bob's in Tallahassee what's up Bob?
Speaker 6 (26:26):

Rix Cafe so somebody could tell him play it against Sam.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
There you go, I would love I would love to
do that. Cheese a burger spot for you, Bob or no.
Speaker 6 (26:39):
Yeah, there's one year out of Wisconsin. Names escaped me
at the moment.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
I forgot the name of his favorite burgers called names
escape me at the moment. That would be a good
neighbor place the name the name escapes me. Oh man
Uh Lauren? No, Lauren, Lauren?
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Hey, what's up guy?
Speaker 1 (26:58):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Bud?
Speaker 1 (26:59):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (27:00):
I think I would want to hang out with alf On,
Melmac and some caps innuendo.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Let's add wrap it up in Rhode Island. What's up,
Paul my man?
Speaker 2 (27:10):
Let's go to two where the paw sock choose to
play but Ducket House of Pizza Man the best burger
there is onions.
Speaker 6 (27:20):
I'm telling you you have to have a burger.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
You know what we call this fat guy Rady got
Radio Rady and uh, what kind of bund do you want?
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (27:33):
Are you thinking?
Speaker 1 (27:34):
Think about it? Do you want to you want to
toast it? You want fun?
Speaker 6 (27:39):
You know?
Speaker 1 (27:39):
I got ask you Radio. I got to ask you
if you were to get a cheeseburger right now on
International National Cheeseburger Day or whatever the heck it is.
Are do you have a cheese preference? Are you one
of the people that likes the blue cheeseburger when it's
on the menu? Are you always are you always going?
Speaker 6 (27:57):
Now?
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Are you always opting for like the South off the
West one that always has like pepper jack with bacon
and colden. You're making me want a burger? You know
you're going straight up? What's the rage with the smash
burger that's been the rich one three years now? Three
four years? Crispy surface? You know, only one burger place
out here in l A. Actually, and I'm talking fast food.
Yeah for the second for the reference. Actually got me off,
(28:21):
my lazy, fat ass because I saw a commercial and
I'm like, I gotta go get a commercial for a
got you? Yeah, That's how I was like Munchi's. You know,
we're kicking in and now I was feeling real fat,
and I'm like, you know what, I've had enough, and
I got up to get that Cross Junior like Western
what's it called?
Speaker 3 (28:36):
The Western bacon?
Speaker 2 (28:39):
So good?
Speaker 1 (28:40):
Yo, It's so good as good as commercial because for
me it felt that good that day because I wanted
it so bad.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
The commercials are basically poorn.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
It's insane and I'm not talking those.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
It's got the onion rings inside. Again.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
The Western bacon cheese bacon cheese burger actually got me out.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
And that's called Hardy's.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
Yeah, it's so good. I'm not even lying as far
as fast food. That would get me out of the house,
and I might get one tonight, Rich Holiday. Now before
we go.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
To really quick though, Rich, I heard you talking to
your wife right before the show and you said, we're
getting cheeseburgers tonight.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
Where are you guys going?
Speaker 1 (29:22):
See, I hate doing local spots when we talk on
the radio, because you know you're not everyone's local. But
there is, I'm sure in every hometown a smash burger spot.
Right on Ventura Boulevard, there's a place called Let's Smash
locally owned, and I just like this smasher pass. There's
something about there's something about the rage of smashburger spots. Right,
it's a I get the triple because there's there's thin
(29:44):
patties major there's more surface, which creates more flavor on
the burger. So enjoy your cheeseburger day. And before we
go to Isaac Croud update, For the first time ever
in Major League Baseball, a player was awarded for first
base because the defense cheated on the shift a little bit.
(30:05):
Oh wow, for the first time the umpires called the play.
That's pretty cool. It was Royals were on defense against
the Mariners. Now it wasn't the shorts. The shortstop was
positioned right by second base, so it's not that he
was on the wrong side of second base. The second
baseman was on the grass and you can't That's another
rule that I think a lot of people don't realize
(30:26):
that when when doing a shift, they don't allow you
to have your infielder in the implementing that they made.
I'm glad they made that that change though, but so
ridiculous two years ago now right right, it's been a
couple So you were talking a couple of years and
first the first violation, and you know what I thought about.
I know Isaac is on standby, but we talked about
(30:47):
how Kyle Schwarber is an MVP candidate for the Phillies.
You remember how Kyle Schwarber batted one ninety for a
couple of seasons and now he's batting two forty five.
Do you think that is the shift? Probably because he's
such a poll hitter. I mean, he fifty points higher.
It has to be that everyone was just shifting for
guys like Schober makes sense. All right, let's say hi
(31:07):
to I Loo. What's updating man? What's going on?
Speaker 8 (31:11):
Hi?
Speaker 10 (31:11):
Fellas. We will start with the Los Angeles Dodgers announcing
that three times Cy Young Award winning pitcher Clayton Kershaw
will retire at the end of the season. He will
make his final regular season home start tomorrow against the
San Francisco Giants. On the field today, the Cleveland Guardians
made it seven straight wins with a three to one
victory at Detroit. The Athletics won at Boston five to three.
(31:33):
Brent Rookers two run home run in the first inning
gave him his third straight thirty home run campaign. And
most importantly, the New York Mets de Vita the San
Diego Padres six to one. Pete Alonzo homer for a
fourth consecutive game, giving him thirty seven of the season.
Brandon Nemo added a three run home run. Sports journalist
(31:54):
Pablo Torre reported today that the Los Angeles Clippers made
a twenty one million dollar payment to the company Aspiration
in June of twenty twenty two. The payment was signed
off for in writing by the Clippers chief financial officer
and was made at a time when Aspiration was struggling
for cash, and was made two weeks before Aspiration was
(32:15):
due to make a payment to Clippers star Kawhi Leonard. Finally,
Week three of the NFL season kicks off at eight
fifteen Eastern time tonight as the O and two Miami
Dolphins visit the two and zero Buffalo Bills. Dolphins receiver
Jalen Waddle officially questionable with the shoulder injury, but told
NFL media a short time ago that he will play
tonight at Buffalo.
Speaker 1 (32:37):
Guys, all yours yo, I see a long crun, Thanks buddy,
Thanks guys, now coming up, we got your pick for tonight.

whole thing. So we're gonna do a bet coming up,
and we're gonna check in with our very own damn
buyer who's with our pal Jasu. They're actually in Buffalo
(32:58):
jumping through tables right now. Get ready for the Bills
Dolphins tonight and we hear from those guys. We'll talk
little Thursday Night football next right here, Covino and Rich.

YouTube page, Covino and Rich FSR. And we are debuting
a new game on the show tomorrow. Danny g what
do we call on this one?
Speaker 4 (34:56):
We are calling its synonymous city. And actually Buyer was
with us when we created it. Remember we say one,
two three When I asked you who's the face of Minneapolis?
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Okay, just give me fun Tomorrow, we're gonna what did
you say, Rich, I said Kerry Puckett and Dan said
Prince and you said Gary Anderson, Gary Anderson.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Sorry.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
Yeah, So so the caller, we're gonna give him different
cities and he's gonna have to try to match two
out of five with the crew.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
All it sounds good, man. I can't wait. That'll be
tomorrow on the show. But right now, I don't want
to keep him waiting. I don't want to He's up
there in Buffalo waiting to jump through a table.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
I bet what's up?
Speaker 6 (35:31):
Dan Bayer tell it is great to be with you.
Jason Stewart and myself had made it too. High Mark
Stadium nice and we are hanging out with Bill's mafia
as we speak between the old facility, the one that
we're ushering out this year, the brand new high Mark
Stadium right across the street. It is an amazing night
(35:51):
in Buffalo.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
And that's cool because this is the last season at
the old stadium, so you get to go there. You know,
what's the vibe like?
Speaker 3 (35:57):
For real?
Speaker 1 (35:58):
Man, if you're there with with the mafia has a going,
what's the vibe it is?
Speaker 6 (36:01):
Yeah, yeah, I'll tell you this. And I even said
this to Jason. I said, we kind of walk up
to the stadium and we're seeing all these fans. The
thing that strikes me most about it is how young
these fans are, Like this twenty to thirty year old
fan base. I have not seen it like this draw
up any other team in the NFL. I'm not saying
how the team's don't have fans in the twenties and thirties,
(36:22):
but it feels like we use college atmosphere sometimes too loosely.
And I don't even know if that's appropriate here, but
there was a young vibe when it comes to the Bills,
Josh Allen jerseys everywhere. It's really really cool. Tailgating for
miles out. We parked about a mile away from the
stadium and it was just tailgate after tailgate after tailgate.
We haven't threw some pictures up. So yeah, so a
(36:44):
really good vibe.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Guys, have you and Jay Sue chest bumped or high
five jumping high five at any time? Are you wearing
beer helmets?
Speaker 6 (36:53):
Not yet?
Speaker 7 (36:54):
Not yet?
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Actually have a legitimate question. Dan Byer on location for
the game tonight and Jay Stu. You know earlier we
were talking what is what did? What did the Dolphins
have to do tonight to save McDaniel's job?
Speaker 6 (37:07):
Oh boy, Uh, I don't know if there's anything to
save it for tonight. It just may stave it off
for a few more weeks. If they were to get
a victory tonight, it would make it easier if they
lost because of the extended week to make a change
if you needed to, But it'd be very, very difficult
to us save the job. I think I think that
ship is sailed, unfortunately, no matter what the outcome is.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Tonight, Dan Bayer and Jay Stu are are hanging in Buffalo.
Nice little bros, quick trip. I love that you and
Jay Sue sound are you guys in disguise as bills fans?
Are you rob lowing it?
Speaker 3 (37:39):
Meaning?
Speaker 1 (37:39):
Are you wearing like an NFL shirt?
Speaker 7 (37:41):
Like?
Speaker 1 (37:41):
What are we doing?
Speaker 6 (37:42):
So Jason's wearing his Dodgers World Series cap on the
search for a beer right now, he want some beer.
I'm just wearing golf hooty with a Navy cap. We
are team neutral, but it's not like I would say.
It's more Bill's colors, so like fit in but no
Bills gear.
Speaker 1 (37:59):
Right, Okay, so you put away your teal that you
usually wear.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
I saw a nice let Cook jersey and if you
check out my Twitter, guys some guys wearing an OJ shirt.
I mean, but an actual shirt.
Speaker 1 (38:14):
One of the few markets where OJ still tests. By
the way, I just looked at the last like five
or six games between the Bills and the Dolphins, and
it does not look good for Miami. I mean Buffalo.
Over the last few encounters, have Buffalo scored thirty thirty one,
twenty one in a wildcard game, forty eight, thirty four,
(38:34):
thirty two. So Buffalo put up big numbers. I know
it's not the same team, but still the last couple
of years has not been good for the Dolphins CB
just for the front of the story and the parody
of the league. Do you think there's any chance the
Dolphins keep it even close tonight?
Speaker 6 (38:49):
Yeah, like the line, I think was at twelve and
a half at one point and moved to eleven and
a half. This is a vision rival. It's just a
short week that is really tough for Miami on the road.
And you're right, Buffalo's had their number even in big games.
In a big game of season or two ago in Miami,
Buffalo went out and won that beat them in the
playoff game. So yeah, they just they it's a better team,
they're better matched up. Buffalo's built on speeds, can get
(39:11):
after two. It's a really tough matchup for Miami. And
to do it now in a short week. That's why
I think you have that double digit spread.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
Yeah, and you know what, dB, I have a teaser
bet I want to throw out there. I tease the
teaser bet. So you said the points spread dropped to
eleven and a half, which is still fine with me.
I'm gonna do a two layer six point t So
I'm gonna just for the heck of Mike McDaniel, I'm
gonna go up and I'm gonna go Dolphins plus seventeen
and a half. That half a point hook might help you.
(39:38):
So Dolphins plus seventeen and a half and over forty
four because the point the over unders fifty, so take
it down to forty four and take the over even
at the game's thirty to twenty. I think points will
be scored, so I like Dolphins plus seventeen and a
half over forty four. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (39:56):
No Matt Milano or at Oliver tonight for the Bills,
so they're missing on defense. I like that Rich, especially
the teaser on the Dolphins. I think they'll keep it
relatively close around that number, but I don't think it's
going to be a thirty to thirty to three game
like we saw last week.
Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yeah, and dB and Jase, do I know you're there
to party and have a great time. It's National Cheeseburger Day.
What do you diving into now?
Speaker 6 (40:20):
We've already had one round of wings, guys. Nice, Tomorrow's
around two and three are on store. Well all wings
for the sixty hours we're here. I'm only eating wings.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
I mean, you're in Buffalo, you might as well. You
might as well man, Hey, thanks for chiming in, bro
It sounds like having a great time. Mbaire and Jay
Stu up in Buffalo for tonight's Thursday Night Football, just
hoping for a close Dampier Jase, dude, just a reminder
football is such a great time to just pick a week,
go away with some buddies, have some fun, so enjoy
and we'll see you guys back here tomorrow. Until then,
(40:49):
Riba there you baby, see you in the over Promised Land.
All right, cool, let's go
