(02:16):

talk about Monday night football last night, before we talk
about some MBA, I.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Want to congratulate Gobble the Turkey.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Did you see Gobble got pardoned by President Trump.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Gobble, I just want to tell you this very important.
You are hereby unconditionally partner God.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
No, I did not know that, but I'm glad you
brought to my attention.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I did, however, see that Trump is trying to push
to get rush Hour for made.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
We need more Jackie Chan, we need more Chris Tucker's
a true story.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
And I also saw that he reached out to congratulate
Shador Sanders.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
He actually tweeted this.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Shador Sanders was great wins for game, first career started
as a pro for Cleveland, great jeans.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I told you so. He pulled that. I told you so.
I told you so.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
So funny, but last night a great night. Sloppy win
for the forty nine ers, but for those that are
keeping score at home, which I don't know who does
that anymore. I did make it home, turned the phone off,
went to go see Wicked with the family, and I
did say I was gonna pull two thousands, which is
I actually turned my phone off, and I was like,

(03:30):
I'm not gonna let anyone spoil it, bother me or anything.
So I went to the movie, went straight home. I
told my wife just go in the house before me
and queue it up to the kickoff, because sometimes you
turn the TV on and it might be the pre
the post game and you're like, ah, son of a yeah,
so yeah. So I was like, babe, just queue it
up to the kickoff and then tell me it's ready.
So I ran in the house and a three hour

(03:52):
football game, you could watch it about an hour fifteen
without missing a play. I'm talking like, just fast forward
through the TV timeouts, the injuries, halftime commercials, everything.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
And can you really get the feel of I don't
want to see how boring it was, But you're right,
you said sloppy. That was the overall sentiment of the
feel of the game. It was sort of a sloppy win,
but still the win for the forty nine ers party
wasn't his best. I feel like the announcers were a
little hard on the game, like, yeah, not the most exciting,

(04:23):
not the cleanest game of football for the forty nine ers.
Did you still get that vibe even though you were
FFing it the whole time?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Yeah, dude, I thought as a Niners fan, I'm pleased
because later on we're going to figure out who's going
to not make the playoffs in the NFC. We're gonna
do a little schedule watching it a little bit. But
the Niners improved to eight and four, and I don't
know what else you could ask score. There's a lot
of criticism today about from Purdy. Yeah, yeah, did a
hold on Rich?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
I gotta pause because the whole mission yesterday was can
Rich navigate his night without the game being spoiled?

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Success? You were able to pull that off.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
But I want to know your thoughts the Fox Sports
Radio nation on the edge of their seat before we
talk about Brock party.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Yeah, what did you think of Wicked for Good?

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Fantastic? Yo, Wicked for Good? How about what do you
give it on the potato meter? How about so damn good?
It was fantastic.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Honestly, if you liked the Broadway show or the first
one or anything. If you're a fan of Wicked, I
thought it was fantastic. I loved it amazing.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
What about that X rated scene?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
There wasn't one like that was the most overrated thing
of all time.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
I read a woman took her kids who wrote like
an op ed or something for people. She's like, I
took my kids out of the theater, some old granny
that that's lame.

Speaker 8 (05:35):
You know.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Fierro was so Fierro the guy that ends up turning
into the scarecrow.

Speaker 6 (05:39):
I don't know a spoiler alert? Oh geez, I.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Mean, could you spoil a twenty year old Broadway show?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
You blow it?

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Fierro and Alpha Ba Cynthia Ribo, the Green, the Bad Witch,
Wicked Witch. Did they make out and it's like a
they're singing a love song and at the end they
make out and then the next scene they wake up
in a bed and he's like, has no.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Shirt on this with Judy Garland, bro, bro, it was nothing.
Anyone's making a deal of it. Honestly, is like forcing
some weird narrative. It really is like, there was nothing
in appropriate. My five year old was there and I
didn't even think twice?

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Was it awkward? Did you have to explain some things
to Ben on the ride home?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
No, I was gonna say, it's not even yo.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
It's one of those things that if unless you pointed
it out, you wouldn't even have thought about it.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Did Ben say, did they have hanky panky?

Speaker 9 (06:29):
Dad?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
What was going on? The people don't know?

Speaker 3 (06:35):
My five year old son loves seventies game shows. So
Wicked was great, got home, watched the game, and I'll
tell you what, Wicked was better than the game. But
I'm happy to get the w as as Fred Warner,
who's not playing these days unfortunately, always says, dub City Baby,
all you get to win, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
That's all that matters.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
And Brock party, I want to talk about Brock. Let's
let's dive into this now. Let's let's get heated, dude.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Not only were theouncer was sort of tough on him
and the game and the turnovers, but even our guy
Colin Cowhert says, you know, he's called them the right
handed Tua. How dare you he's as good as Tua?
And he really criticized his last thirty games. And when
you look at the stats for the last.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Thirty Yes, thing, Colin, But I'll tell you why. Oh well,
please do tell me why.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
I'm just sort of, you know, letting the world know
in case they missed it. Yeah, that his stats last
thirty games are average at best when you factor in
how much money he's getting paid as well.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
Yeah, but like we do, we have the memory. What
is a bad memory of golfish an elephant?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
What would no elephants have good memories?

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I well guess what, Colin's not an elephant, Okay, and
either of you or anyone else, because you're all golfish,
your little golfish and old tank because you forget that
last year we knew that rock Perty had no one,
that whole team was hurt. They were under five hundred.
It was just a wash of a season for the
forty nine ers coming off the Super Bowl US. Everyone

(08:01):
remember McCaffrey was out the whole year. Kid as the
off season.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Dude, everyone. So we were all like, man Brock did
the best he could.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
With nothing, And now you're throwing those stats in some
bigger picture to prove your point, Like we he got
the contract after that season, So what's with all this BS?

Speaker 1 (08:18):
That like Brock's not delivering.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Well, guess what those numbers have put up last year
are still enabled this dude to get fifty plus million dollars.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Here's where I'm going to defend brock party in fairness.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Colin did say something along the lines of he is
a better athlete than to uh and makes better decisions
or whatever, but essentially he's the same guy the right
handed version. Well, and I'm just saying that simply to
paint the picture that you're describing that a lot of
people are being hard on him today.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Listen, I see a headline now on FS one. Should
forty nine er fans feel better or worse after that win?
The answer is undeniably one hundred percent better. They pulled
off a w against a team that was sort of
in that playoff borderline conversation. Right, the Panthers are way
better than we thought. They're now six and six.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah, but the forty nine ers are your team, so
you're always gonna see the silver line.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
No, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Actually it's like no, a parent never sees the opposite ugly,
their kids are the opposite.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Kids are the cutest. I think fans are harder on
their team than most people. Do you You know, they're
always complaining. Anyone that thinks Mac Jones is the answer,
get your head out of your ass. Mac Jones is
a great backup quarterback.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Rock Party is.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
A hell of a lot better than Mac Jones. Three interceptions.
Can we talk about context because it matters.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Right in all things, like, yeah, ninety three yards, one touchdown,
three interceptions, And for the record, I'm just playing Devil's advocate.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
I root for Rock Party, and I think he's a
great player, So go.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Ahead, Rich one hundred and ninety three yards doesn't matter, dude.
They were in control of that game. They couldn't stop
the run. So McCaffrey had a very busy night. Robinson
as a backup, had some good runs. Listen, what I'm
not understanding is people I'm not realizing context. You see
quarterbacks sometimes struggle. All the throws are terrible, like they're

(10:06):
just they're misreading every coverage. Rock Purdy was seeing all
his reads, he was controlling the game, just made a
couple bad throws. It really is that, And you could say, well,
you're a National Football League quarterback. I don't think it's problematic,
Like Brock Party is a bad quarterback.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
I think brock Purty out.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
A bad night where he just I don't know, is
he was a little off with his throws, which to
me is so much different than a quarterback that looks
lost in the sauce. Brock Purty was confident throwing dimes
at times, but other times he just seemed like he
was off. He's been in and out of that lineup,
as you know, because of injuries, the turf toe. Nothing
about brock Purty concerned me. If anything, I'm like, all right,

(10:44):
he got that one out of his system and the
forty nine ers got a w.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Just an off night. A That's a positive way to
look at it. He had an off night and still
came away with a win. Yeah, I mean that's a
positive way to look at it. Rich, But are you
nervous going up against that Browns defense? They're think going
to annihilate the brown You think so?

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah? I listen the Browns.

Speaker 6 (11:04):
You don't think Miles Garrett's gonna be all over Party?

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Yeah, D's a sack machine. Yeah yeah, sosha mother.

Speaker 9 (11:17):
Rich.

Speaker 10 (11:17):
I think that that makes that matchup, you know, that
much more interesting, Rich, because I don't think Party can
get away with some of that against the Browns defense.
We know the Browns offense has struggled. Maybe Schadur is
going to stabilize things. That's yet to be seen. But
you know, I don't know how you can go into
that game against the Browns and think they're gonna just

(11:38):
step right over that defense.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
I look at it from just a prep sure prepsu right.
Maybe I'm looking at it from a way positive standpoint,
but I look at it and say, the interceptions he
threw weren't under they.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Weren't under duress. They weren't like ill advised throws.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
They weren't like into the wrong coverage, like oh my god,
he didn't see the linebacker drop back, Like these are
all throws that like he just missed the guy leading
him too much, or it was behind them by foot.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
They were just bad throws.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
And I know you're saying, what's the NFL, dude, bad
throws I'll take.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Any day over whow My quarterback has no clue. But
it looked great.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
He's just taking a throws a bad night, just a
bad night, and still got the win. I'm reading the
feedback on our chat. Hey, we all know when our
team barely wins were relieved. Not every win is going
to be a sexy win. That's from willelm Minna Kriider
Green four eight seven seven and Esteban says, what's up rich?

(12:35):
A win is a win, it doesn't matter if it's
by an inch or a mile. That's from pit phenomenal.
So lots of feedback coming in. It's interesting, though, you
gotta keep it in perspective. Everybody's saying they looked average
yesterday with the win. Party didn't look his best, and
that's fair to say that everyone's gonna have an off night.
But isn't it ironic? Don't you think that the one

(12:57):
guy defending him is a forty nine Ers fan.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
I think it's just an easy it's a layup.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
It's a layup as a dumb talking sportshead or someone
on TikTok or Instagram to be like party through three picks.
He sucks. Maybe they should go with Mac Jones fifty
mil what a waste. He had a bad night. But
again I was Sam. You feel what I'm saying right
as far as like it wasn't his play, it was
a couple of bath throws.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (13:24):
Kyle Shanahan at the halftime interview, his level of concern
pretty much matches yours, like he was just like, yeah,
he's just a little off. He just dismissed the question
like it wasn't it was nothing to him. No, he
knew he was gonna be fine.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
And you know what, I really do love Danny G'
sort of observation here though. It does make next week's
game that much more exciting though, like how ye be
bound from that and the defense versus their offense.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
It makes it makes schandor second start against the Niners
in a game that maybe wasn't that interesting, like oh yeah,
maybe that's a game to today.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Sets up the drama real nice, Like now I'm even
more intrigued to see how this all plays out. We
can come back next week like Yo, even with their defense,
even with Garrett Yo party was the man, like he
could totally redeem himself from a bad game if it
was just that.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
I mean, I know they're different sports, but there are
times where your ace pitcher goes out there and for
the first couple innings he just doesn't have his stuff
that day, and you know, he'll pitch.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Four innings five runs and you're like, ah, man, our Ace.
You know, poop to bed tonight. It happens.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
And I know football is different, shorter schedule games mean
way more. But to me, Brock Purdy knows how to
play football. He had some bad throws. Everything about his
game other than that, he was not getting swallowed up
in the pocket.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
He was moving around the right way. Again.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
The interceptions were all on balls that he wishes he
could have back because he had the receiver just made
a bad throw. And I know I'm making excuses maybe, but.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
No, no, you know, I'm with you. I'm just playing
Devil's advocate, his arm, his pas. I'm seeing his decision
making was never ever the question here. It was his health,
it was his foot. And if all that looked good,
then you know, man, you gotta win. You're eight and four.

Speaker 9 (15:09):
Now.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
It looked to me like a great night for rich Davis.
You saw wicked.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
It was great, your kids behaved, you came back, you
watched the game, wasn't spoiled, and the team won. They
won on a bad game, he still won twenty to nine.
The only downside was how much he spent on popcorn.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
And you know what, Kyle Shanahan shares my sentiment, so
if you don't believe me, listen to the head coach.

Speaker 8 (15:31):
You got to think about all of them why it's happening.
You know, it makes me a lot more hesitant if
they're all bad decisions and stuff.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
But he was seeing it right.

Speaker 8 (15:38):
They're all really good decisions. So he just missed the
throw on him, So you know, I think it's it's
a lot worse when you feel like he's not making
the right decisions.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Dude, I would say this kimin no, I swear to god,
I didn't hear Kyle say that. I felt that as
a fan who's invested, I felt like at no point
because we know those times where a guy scrambled on
thirty short and he flings it ill advisable. I remember
Josh Allen but weeks ago, like almost looks like he
was doing a basketball chess pass into the end.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Zone and it was a pick like desperate, what are
they doing? Like what do you do? Throw it away?

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Don't throw it down the sideline into double coverage. He
made no bad decisions, he just had a weak ass.
Harm Last night, Rich.

Speaker 10 (16:14):
I'm wondering what the West would one play by play
guys were seeing that the TV audience wasn't because I
after doing CNR post production, I was on the freeway
with all the Thanksgiving travelers and I'm listening to the
radio broadcast and their two play by play guys for
west Wood One kept pointing out that they didn't feel
like Party had the usual velocity that he normally has

(16:36):
on his PA you know what.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
I'm you know, perhaps I'm no doctor, even though you
might think that, like man Rich, you're really smart, you
must be a doctor. And no, we didn't think the
way he used that's not that's not the sentiment.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
But you do have an m D.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
A massive dome, so people might think, you know Rich,
you know a doctor, but no, no, he is a PhD.
Though pretty huge dork Rich.

Speaker 10 (16:59):
On the radio broadcast, I listened for an hour. They
pointed out his arm in the velocity probably three or
four times in the broadcast.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
So and there.

Speaker 10 (17:08):
Once I got to a TV, I was just wondering,
because it doesn't seem like you're worried about that.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
There were a couple that were one of the picks.
Seem like a floater that didn't get there. Maybe again,
not a doctor that you might think maybe planting on
that turf toe. Think about anytime you throw a ball,
you plan for a shot in basketball, you plant for
a cut in football, anything you do your big toe
his turf toe. I mean, maybe there's a little hesitancy,

(17:36):
and you know, when you favor something, a little bit
of throws you off. I'm making excuses now for brock Predy.
Next week I think will be the real test, because
they play Cleveland, they win that they're nine and four,
then they have a bye week and come back and
play the one in ten Tennessee Titans. The forty nine ers,
if they want to make the playoffs, need to be

(17:56):
ten and four in a couple weeks from now, and
then I'll tell you exactly why, because I have the
whole NFC playoff picture broken down perfectly.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
I watched the game.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
I know it's the whole thing, and this is a
half It is a glass half fall class half empty
sort of situation. It's just a matter of how you
want to look at it. And Rich has me convinced
he really does. I watch the game. I feel the
same way that Rich did, and it's simply this for me,
if you could still be dominant on your worst day
and still pull a w on your worst day. To me,

(18:27):
that says a lot, and I chalk that up in
everyday life. If Rich and I could still do one
of the better shows in the nation on an off day,
I think we're doing okay.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
I feel like our bad shows are better than some
other people's good shows.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
I feel liken't that hold on? How many times do
we say that to one another? It wasn't the best show,
right because you can't have it every day. But even
at our worst, we still feel like we're one of
the best. And if your team could still pull a
win when they didn't play their best, I think you're
sitting pretty at eight and four and it's still your
season this as much as anyone else's. So if you're

(19:02):
looking at it half full, I think your team is
really in contention. They pulled off a nice win or
a sloppy win, but a nice win on their worst day,
So even at their worst, they're still one of the
best in the league. Right now, Camino a hot girl,
because I you know, I do an analogy to relationships
for everything, so why stop now? A Hawk girl with
a big pimple on her nose ran an ugly shirt

(19:24):
is still gonna have every guy in the bar wanting her,
even I might it might not be her best day,
but on her worst day, guys are still gonna want her.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
It's listen.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Aaron Judge is gonna go through his ups and downs.
Steph Curry's gonna have a game where he shoots twenty percent.
These things happen, and because.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
The only difference is the NFL, we overspeculate everything, and
a lot has to do with the matchup next week.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
And Danny g hit the nail on the head that
makes it so much cooler.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
Your thoughts at eighty seven seven ninety nine on Fox
is Rich Big Dreaming. Here is Rich trying to polish
a turd right now. You let us know it's pretty cheeks,
Let me buns.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
Let me give me have a bad night.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
Let me give you two more quick things, and we'll
take all your feedback. And then I'm gonna tell you why,
oh why you can't punch someone in the nuts because
you're gonna get caught. I have a theory on what
happened to Juan Jennings, and I do want to break
down the whole NFC playoff picture because I think it's
really interesting. Once you start realizing there's gonna be one
team out of the mix, and you got to ask
yourself who is that team. I'll break it down and

(20:28):
explain everything. We'll have some fun with it, have some laughs,
all that good stuff here on CNR.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Rich finally figured out why my place is the hangout
spot for all my friends and family.

Speaker 1 (20:38):

Crown on standby. I'm actually live in Jersey Union, New Jersey.
That's my hometown here for the holidays. But our show
is sponsored by DraftKings Sportsbook, Covino and Rich sponsored by

(22:06):
DraftKings Sports Boo, an official sports betting partner of the
NFL and NBA. And right now use the Promo Code
CR Show to claim your special law for at DraftKings. Again,
that's Promo Code CR Show. At DraftKings. The Crown is yours.

Speaker 6 (22:20):
Now.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
We got show Boy Mahomes Trivia, Givnoay prizes. It's just
stopping by. We're actually gonna talk show. Hey Otani and Nutgate.
I believe Dan Byer called it Nutgate. I was listening
to him at Monzi. They're so great, did a great job. Actually,
Iowa Sam package Gate, package Gate. We'll talk that, but
Brock Perty is the discussion at hand right now. One

(22:43):
hundred and ninety three yards one Tuddy three I in
T's Joey Elbows is hitting us up on our chat,
Rich saying Perty is cheeks and Crane nineteen says you'd
be singing a different tune had they lost. You know,
it's the fact that they won that you're seeing things
from a positive.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
It's right, isn't that? Yeah, No, duh, I'm reading.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
If you get away with the w and your star
quarterback makes mistakes, you're like, all right, we got away
with one.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Joey Elbo says San Francisco has the easiest schedule in
the league.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
No Bosa, no Warner. San Francisco is cooked.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
So lots of feedback on the on the live chat
Covino and Rich FSR.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
On YouTube Covino and Rich FSR.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
I mean, you tell Joey Elbows and anyone else that
disagrees with me that the forty nine ers last night,
you know what people should be talking about. How Christian
McCaffrey's as good as he's ever been, How George Kittle
looks like he's back to full health. Robert Sala has
that defense. I know you could say, dude, it was
it was the Panthers. But the Niners are not letting

(23:46):
up a ton this this team, I mean, unless you
play the Rams. I guess right, but this team is
not super Bowl bound, but they are playoff bund. Then
I'll tell you coming up in a little bit, who's
on the out side looking in?

Speaker 1 (24:00):
And I think you're gonna.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
Be shocked well rich as a guy on the outside
looking in when it comes to the forty nine ers.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
I watched him because you did the forty nine ers.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Really ever bank on Perty being or playing like a
superstar at being just really good, like you are banking
on McCaffrey and Kittle and the stars like that to
play like superstars, and they are so Perty had an
off night, No big deal. Like again, it's over speculation.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
It's the NFL. It's what we do. That's exactly how
I'm seeing it.

Speaker 9 (24:29):
Man.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Now we're not talking about all those things. We talking
about Perty, which I guess makes sense. He's the guy
that got paid fifty to sixty million dollars to lead
this team. He's been sidelined most of the year, and
he saw mac Jones play respectable. Keep in mind, Perty's
not helping himself with eight toutty seven interceptions where mac
Jones filled in thirteen touchdowns six interceptions, So on paper,

(24:52):
you'd be like, eh, Matt Jones, maybe you stick with
the hot hand. Anyone that knows this team and the system,
they know that rock Party is just a better quarterback
for what they're doing. Seems to feel better, moves around better. Again,
just bad decisions, and we could end it at that.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
You want to talk about package Kate though you.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Know I do, and then we'll get to Isaac Gloanecrown
because when I think packages, well, we'll get to him
a little bit with an update. But Yo, after the game,
I'm sure we all saw the same thing. They're showing
everyone do that little post game high fives. A lot
of focus on McCaffrey because he was a big player
in the game and former Carolina Panthers, so you saw
him growing it up with a lot of his old

(25:32):
teammates and personnel, and then out of nowhere, mix it
with all the high fives and like, yo, good game,
two game bro Goo Jersey swaps. You see Juwan Jennings
being like like were strained by multiple teammates, like as
if you wanted to murder someone.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Well, he throws a quick left at Mowrigg and you're
thinking something must have happened.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
But you didn't see that.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
You didn't see the throw at first. You just saw
him being pulled away, like what was done? And then they,
of course they have angles of everything. They go back
and like, yo, he threw a he shoved the head
of Trevion Mowrigg, And you're like, why did he do that?
And of course then they keep going back in the
tape and a bunch of sleuths working for the NFL

(26:16):
they find just the play McCaffrey up the middle, short
gain and.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
You see this guy.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
I was gonna say piece of trash, but you know what,
can you judge someone on one bad moment.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
I don't know this guy on the Panthers.

Speaker 6 (26:32):
You guys were both close with his name, by the way,
Travon Merrig.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Travon Merrig, Yeah, where's the arder?

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Where's the okay?

Speaker 3 (26:44):
When I Sayrigvon Merk, Isaac Lone Crown's looking at me
like no one cares or knows this dude anyway.

Speaker 10 (26:53):
He's a he's a good he's a good player. The
Raiders actually couldn't afford to keep him, and he was
a good free agent pickup for the Panthers.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Would they keep instead, Daddy?

Speaker 6 (27:03):
You don't want So they got hin from the commanders.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
I know most were punching Jennings in the package. So
this guy.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Takes a shit like cheap shot, like, there's no hiding it,
there's no confusion like, oh did he do it?

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Remember, like the Jamar chase, did he spit or not?
And you're like, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
And remember in the beginning of the season there was
another spit incident where it's like, you know, was he
just dribbling out of his mouth or did he spit?

Speaker 1 (27:30):
This is Dak Prescott. This is just a straight up.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Fist made right in the nuts like like and and
Kyle Shanahan talked about it afterwards because he was asked,
did you see Jennings and why he was so mad?

Speaker 11 (27:46):
Did you see what.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Happened to Juan in the last series.

Speaker 8 (27:49):
Oh yeah, the guy took a cheap shot and hit
him in the balls and out of Juan for not
losing his mind out there and get him to the sideline.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
And you know what, Kyle Shanahan very uh uh, very
on the same page with Mike Tomlin, whomember Mike Tomlin
when his player was spit on. He's like, you know,
these guys are getting their players backs in these moments,
and I thought that was pretty cool. And Juwan Jennings
even spoke about getting hit in the wavels.

Speaker 11 (28:13):
Yeah, I was just responding to meet some childish behavior,
that's all it was.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
Kyle said it was.

Speaker 9 (28:19):
A cheap shot.

Speaker 6 (28:20):
He was proud of you for that retaliating, like getting
the moment.

Speaker 11 (28:22):
We talked about all the time on small This window
is for us and so you know, being seven rounder
could come up. I don't want to make any mistakes,
you know. I'm trying to go out there and play
the hardest I can, and I like the rest to
help me out when they can.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
That's why these guys got to wear cups. Man, Yo,
you don't mess like that. Getting hitting the waves like that.
It's something that women will never understand. When you're rough
housing a little bit and you get whoa right, these
are things that you don't play around the last time
you got a good nuts shot.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
You know, what to be honest two days ago. And
I'll tell you the story in a second. But I
gotta ask every guy in this room. I want you
to admit it. I'm putting truth seer him out there.
No one could lie. You can't tell a lie.

Speaker 6 (29:05):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (29:07):
How many times has a girl you were dating or
your wife accidentally hit in the in the uh jaivas
and you over exaggerate to get a little sympathy like
and it's and it's really not that bad.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Oh you got a little sympathy rub out of it.
Oh I should love love love Okay, Yeah, what have
you have you exact?

Speaker 1 (29:26):
I've absolutely done that.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
I've accidentally, like you know, you're you're wrestling around, horsing
around with your girl and she accidentally hits you and
you overstated it.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I can't say I did that. You sound like a
can iving creep to me. I'm not joining in on this.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
You're leaving me out to dry. I'm the only one, okay,
set it up like we all do it. No, man,
you're the only guy. You're telling me, just you.

Speaker 12 (29:50):
Just when you think you know someone huh Canino?

Speaker 9 (29:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Man, wow, man, maybe maybe I am a conniving creep.
This guy's a regular Tom Sawyer. Oh my god, honey,
but I will say, oh my goodness, I'm in so
much pain.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
I knock on wood. Have avoided getting really bad my
whole life. I play third base in high school. I
play third base when I play softball now, I like
I like playing that hot corner. I don't wear a cup.
Knock on wood. Still have never got hit in the nuts.
Would you believe two days ago? Two days ago, my son,
It's like, you know, when you're when you have to

(30:25):
send that plays baseball, they walk around the house phantom
swinging because they you know, they're in little kid baseball mode.
He just walks around, thinks he's swinging. He swings his
like hands and he's five yo. He hit me so hard.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
I fell to my knees and I go, oh, he's
at that perfect He started crying. He's like, mommy, I
heard daddy.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
I'm my god, buddy, It's okay, but you better fucking
watch out.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
So that's two balls, one strike, Yeah, two.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
Balls one strike. But hey, I think it's a low
class move. Could you know you and I have talked
about this in the past.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Trash behavior.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
You're in the NFL, like that's really weird though, I know,
because man, like you know the damage you could do.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
That's so lame, I know. And you know that all
cameras are on you too. That's the other code suspended
one game and he's gonna fight it. What is he
gonna fight? Like meant to tickle listen.

Speaker 6 (31:19):
Getting said he was trying to punch out the ball.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Punch out the ball, ball, Laurel. But I I look
at this way. There's few things you could do to
another man.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
It's just like unacceptable and spitting, hitting someone in the
nuts and cavi you know you've talked about looking about
my mind, talking about someone's family, their wife or kids.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
These are these are the things no knows in life.
No nose on the field. Yeah, those are the line crosses.
Every guy knows them.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Yeah, I think I called that. It's the big three.

Speaker 10 (31:50):
It's the don't touch another man's car? Keears out there
are they're grill Are you key somebody's car?

Speaker 6 (31:57):
You're trash?

Speaker 1 (31:58):
Oh yeah, yeah, that's trash behavior.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
I thought you met with Cavino does your car where
he puts his hand down his pants and he touches
your handles.

Speaker 9 (32:05):
That would love him.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
But no, Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
Don't don't touch a man's car, don't talk about his
wife or kids, don't hit him in the nuts, and
don't spit on him. It's very These are very simple rules, Steve.

Speaker 7 (32:18):
Remember when you saw someone put like a palm print
on your car and you're like, what the hell's up
with that? Yeah, you're right, why would you do that?
Why did you put your greasy meat hook on there?

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Get your greasy sausage fingers off my car? I just
got it washed. So we're calling it package gay. I
believe Dan Byer called it something. But Juwan Jennings he
played it right. He knew that the cameras would pick
it up. He called that out and he was just
responding to childish behavior. As he said, it doesn't get
more childish than that. Yeah, but I want to hear
about your uh, your last time you took one to

(32:49):
the package.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Some people have gone a whole lifetime.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
I have a quite honestly, do you think every guy
in his life has been punched in the face and
hitting the huevos?

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Or do you think some guys go their home life
without I.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Do believe there's a select few you might be looking
at one that that have never gotten it. I don't
think I've ever taken a full on blow to the package.

Speaker 7 (33:10):
What if it's self inflicted, like you're riding your bike
down a very steep hill and then maybe you fell
off your your bike seat and then you landed on
the crossbar, and maybe it happened.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
Sam, I've always heared that, We've always feared that, but
I'm not sure it ever really happened.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Well, what if it did happen.

Speaker 7 (33:24):
What if and it really hurt and you're eleven years
old on your swim and can you know.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Think of how many you know you played very specific
and I know you played baseball in high school, in college.
You never you never took a bad hop ever.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Off the package, And I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
I'm gonna think about it, and we're gonna take your
phone calls, your thoughts on it. This childish behavior Juwon
Jennings and his Package eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
But first we got Lowing Kron on standby.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
Blowing Kron By the way, how do you say the
guys name again? Now album?

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Now you're in our head, Trayvon Merreg Merrig back to you, Merrig.

Speaker 12 (33:57):
It's great up there. Thank you one of my best.
Oh yeah, that is our top story. Package Gate twenty
twenty five. The NFL suspending Carolina safety Trayvon Merrick one
game without pay for punching forty nine Ers receiver Juwan
Jennings in the footballs during last night's game. Buffalo Bill
signed veteran receiver Brandon Cooks after he was recently released
by the Saints. Lamar Jackson returned to Baltimore Ravens practice

(34:19):

Oklahoma State has hired North Texas's Eric Morris as its
new head coach baseball. Today, the Boston Red Sox acquired
three time All Star pitcher Sonny Gray from the Saint
Louis Cardinals. Every Olympic dream starts with a first glide

college basketball Thanksgiving update number five. U cont going to
be facing thirteenth ranked Illinois on Friday at Madison Square
Garden and Husky's head coach Dan Early is prepared for
every detail going into the game.

Speaker 9 (35:03):
We're gonna celebrate our Thanksgiving on Wednesday as a team.
We're gonna eat what's in the turkey, Bobby, what makes
people sleepy trip to fan. So we're not gonna eat
the trip to fan on on Thursday and be sluggish
on Friday. So we're gonna eat the trip to fan,
the turkey and everything on Wednesday, so that all the

(35:24):
trip to fan is out of our system by the
time we get to MSG.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Here, we go, here, we go back to you.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
You know, thank you, We've we've learned because you know,
I talked to a lot of doctors and scientists and
you know, high level folks. You know, the amount of
trip to fan in a turkey is so minusculeing that's
the biggest exaggeration out there.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
They're like, oh my god, it must be the trip
to fan, Like the levels are so low. You're not
you know why you're drowsy and sluggish because you just
pigged out all afternoon and later on like a slot
watching football and eating for eight.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
Hours, all of your energy digesting. Yeah, that's why. All right,
So oh package gate, your thoughts, lots of feedback on
the chat too.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
You're missing the live chat.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
Este band says, dongshots or no Bueno West in Vegas
as unacceptable.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Your thoughts on this and more?

Speaker 2 (36:13):
We got show Boy, mahomes Trap and next I'm gonna
tell you who's on the outside looking at this whole
NFC playoff picture.

Speaker 1 (36:19):
We'll do it here.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
Rich's schedule crunching right here on Fox Sports Radio. Hey Merrick,
nice shot to Jennings package. Hey, hey man, nice shot.
By the way, We're Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio.
It's not exactly a fun fact, but this song is

(36:43):
about oh, what the hell's name our Bud Dwyer, a
Pennsylvania congressman that killed himself on television. Oh boy, And
it had a lasting impact on Richard Patrick, who was
watching as a kid. I remember watching as a kid,
and he wrote this song. Hey Man, nice shot. But
the shot we're talking about is the shot to the

(37:03):
package last night the forty nine Ers game. Any more
uplifting funnecks. Well, I'm just finding what the song's really out.
As the main rock voice on three six M Turbo,
I just gave myself that title, but.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Happy to be here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Very thankful Thanksgiving week Live from the Fox Sports Radio Studio.
I'm here in New Jersey and it's time for our
ti Iraq play of the day.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Rich's boy that.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
He's defending Rock Party struggled, the Niners still pulled out
a win over the Panthers.

Speaker 13 (37:34):
A pivotal matchup between two teams jockeying for position in
the NFC playoff picture. The forty nine Ers will defeat
the Carolina Panthers here tonight, twenty to nine.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
The final score, and.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
That's courtesy of Kate NBR Niners Radio Network. That's our
tire Rack play of the day. For over forty years,
Tyraq has been helping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive. Shipped fast and free back.
My free road has a protection with convenient installation options
like mobile tire Insallation, tirerack dot Com the way tire
buying should be. The live chat is popin' Rich Covino

(38:09):
and Rich FSR on YouTube. We're streaming live and also
got feedback from Idaho ninety nine point nine.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Len and Nick are on their.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Way back from fly fishing listening they don't buy into
nutshots or package shots. Okay, and Nick caught his first
fish on the fly rod today and they're loving the
CNR show. So props to Len and Nicholas. But Rich,
I know you had final thoughts Jerry Springer's style.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
I just think that it's a it's a low class move.
It is I can't. I mean, and I think the
one game suspension that seems seems fair, seems legit. But
I think the forty nine ers are because no one's
dominant except the Rams. I keep saying, we got to
remember the Rams. While every other team in the NFL

(38:57):
has shown moments of like ooh that was that wasn't good.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
The Rams have really not shown that at all. In fact,
we said yesterday they're too fans would smirk at that. Okay,
you know what, maybe you're right. Maybe I don't necessarily
buy in quite yet, but I will say when you
look at the Rams, they could very well be eleven.
And oh they lost an overtime game to the Niners
that they fumbled on the one foot line. I remember they

(39:22):
lost on a game winning field goal block to the Eagles,
So you know, the Rams.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
Other than the Rams, I think that the NFL is
so wide open that if a team like the Niners
plays good enough and Brock Purty finds his game, they
could get to the divisional round or so.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
I just think the NFL is wide open. And I'm
going to go over the whole NFC playoff picture. I
know we're we're more than halfway there now.

Speaker 3 (39:45):
We got five six games left for a lot of teams,
and I think the writings on the wall as to
what team could very well be out of it, and
you'll be shocked what team I think.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Is set for a good time.

Speaker 3 (39:56):
Col Riches, mother, I have a question for you that
I want to get your feet back next. Okay, now,
honestly I want to I do want to touch on
this for a second. It's not sports related at all,
and politics aside. I don't care if you love Trump,
haid him, Democrat, Republican. We're here to have a good
time and laugh, and I think you'll find this funny.
Did you realize Trump was such a shor Sanders fan.

(40:16):
I didn't know he would make such a big deal
about parting that turkey.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
Gobble.

Speaker 4 (40:20):
I'm setting you free, Gobble. I just want to tell
you this is very important. You are hereby unconditionally partners.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
God, no, there's a there's something, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said,
being that we're about to enter, they're calling this, no joke,
the busiest traveling Thanksgiving of all time. I'm not trying
to sound like Jesse Palmer on The Bachelor. Are like
the most dramatic season ever. They're saying more traveling this
week than ever before, he ever before. So he released

(40:53):
a statement that I think is hilarious that I think
you'll get with.

Speaker 1 (40:57):
So we'll do that. We'll go to the NFC playoffs
all next
