Speaker 1 (00:00):
This podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
This doesn't probably mean very much. We're going down to
the Outer Banks, down to North Carolina. It's like a
really fun beach town for a couple of weeks.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
School holidays there, No, it's we.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Just we kind of take them all we want.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Like there's obviously a holiday time like around the Christmas, Thanksgiving,
that kind of stuff, But in the summer we take
them here and there. There's not really a designated it
like a spring break and like a winter break for
like kids in school. But our vacations and holidays are
way different than yours.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
We get a lot of holidays, you guys.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we're workaholics. Here.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Here's a question for you. I love in America that
the cheese, the cheese.

Speaker 5 (00:37):
I don't want to know exactly if it is cheese
or it's not cheese, but it comes out in a different,
slightly color, but it's cheese and cheese.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
It's amazing cheese when.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
It's over nachos and things like that.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Yeah that's not cheese.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
You don't want to know what that is, but I mean.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
It's sure is how tastes delicious.

Speaker 6 (00:54):
Honestly, I feel like you go to America like this
is the greatest cuisine.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Oh, I know another thing that's happening in New York
right now currently, justin Timberlake is here.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
Oh so he is ask you about that because obviously
he got a duy drunk driving. He's still going to
go through the court sign imagine, so he's back on
the world tour.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Is that happening?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I mean, I guess. I mean he did tell the cops.
You read what the cops said that he said, this.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Is going to totally ruin the tour.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
And the guy was like what he said the world tour,
which is just hysterical.

Speaker 6 (01:29):
And because the cop had no idea who he was
when he was resisting him for his drink driving.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Charge, I think the cop was young.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
And listen, like I mean to me, justin Timberlake isn't
like for like an older generation, but listen, like a
kid now, like in high school. They probably don't know
Justin Timberlake is. And I saw a couple articles when
it first came out and the headline said Trolls star
gets oppressed and I was like, oh.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
He's just.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
The Trolls.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
Well, listen, you know, on the on the scale of
crimes that can be committed. It's probably the light, and
he'll make his way through it.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
He'll be just fine. He'll be just fine. People forget it.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
It's onto like as soon as there's another scandal or
another story, it'll be done.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
People get forget very easily.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
Well, because we see, speaking of these sorts of things,
we see an article, you know, where someone like Ariana
Grande pop star ector as well. She was on a
podcast got asked who she would like to have dinner
with anyone, and she seid Jeffrey Dahma, the serial killer,
because she'd like to pick his brain. She's fascinated by it. Now,
this is obviously caused, but a becklash. Now, how long
will the specklash last? Or we'll be on to something

(02:42):
else tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I'm I've already been on to something else, Like, I'm like,
that's already out of the news cycle.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
But you know what I didn't.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I didn't hate on her for that, because if you
ever played that game, like at a dinner, when someone
said he could have dinner with anybody like dead or alive,
it doesn't mean you have to like regard them in
any like positive way. You could just be fascinated by them.
That's why there's TV shows and crime shows about these people.
It doesn't mean you think they're a good person. I
don't think she thinks he's a good person. I think

(03:09):
she's fascinated by his being a sociopath, you know, being
a killer.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
It wasn't shot shagged Mary And she's like, yeah, you're right, right, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Yeah, that's very good.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
That's a very good Okay, So net regard, who are
we inviting to do it?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
The most shocking person you could invite to. Now, this
doesn't mean that.

Speaker 6 (03:27):
You admire them, you're fascinated.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Can we just get drinks and like see if we
like vibe and if then then we can move on
to dinner.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
Yeah, okay, well I have some drinks and I might
vibe with someone like Kim Jong Kim Jong.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
On right, yeah, Kim Jong. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I don't know if anybody vibes of them, even the
people in his country. But I've always said it would
be interesting to sit down with Jesus Christ. I have
a lot of questions for him.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
I want to know he would have the water to
wine covered well, yes, for the evening, He's got drink
sort of ys sort of.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
The hits that Jona wan Bean podcast.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Tell us one exciting thing about New York today.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Oh gosh, well it's pretty hot again.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Let's see here what nothing's really that exciting.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
There's a lot of baking garbage on the side of
the streets.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Does it such a smell? Obviously in the extreme heat.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Yeah, that's why a lot like that's why in the summertime,
no one's really here in New York City. It's like
a ghost town because everybody's gone because no one wants
to be here.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
It's gross.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Nic with us from New York Now. Travis Kelsey.

Speaker 6 (04:34):
He's now not only a part of Taylor Swift's love life,
but also part of the show.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
He's on stage, he's doing skits.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
I don't think that he's going to be doing that often.
I'm Some people were like, oh, like what.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
A pulls you like?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Oh like, he's just like she's gotten wrapped around her finger.
I feel like it's no other guy would ever done that.
He's a guy's guy, he's a man's man, and that
I feel like, just showed how cool he is. That
he's like, I don't care, I'll be part of your show.
Like I just loved it.

Speaker 6 (05:00):
There's nothing sixier than a man who is comfortable enough
with his masculine they do something like that.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
I think, and like to be able to laugh at
yourself and not take yourself too seriously.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
That's hot. I totally agree.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Yeah, yeah, it's pretty incredible. I mean her concerts. You know,
she's got and she's in the UK. She's got Tom Cruise,
she's got Prince William dad dancing, she's got se Paul
McCartney from the Beatles there.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
It's a pretty incredible. Just how many people want to
turn up and see Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, I mean every there's certain shows that I mean
it draws more celebrities than others.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
But yeah, there was a good amount.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Like there were some of the Queer Eye guys there,
there were some of the Bridgerton girls there. There's not
anybody that that's like not a fan. I mean, you know,
I don't make it to the show. I feel like
everyone generally makes her.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Dave Grohl though not a fan.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I mean, I'm not okay because he's the first of all,
I love him. I feel like he's one of the
more beloved rock stars. He's one of the friendly rock stars.
He's not so bad ass. And I feel like that
was very off brand for him to see what he
said about her.

Speaker 6 (05:55):
Yeah, said he sort of had a digger claiming she
doesn't do all her music live.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
We figured maybe he was just going for a joke.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
But where's the funny, Like, where's the joke? Yeah, it's
not you know what I'm saying. There was definite malice
in the way that he was saying it.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I felt, yeah, And then he was like like, I
don't know, I just feel like there's all these stories
out there, like she blatantly has talked about how to
get ready if she would perform it all songs from
start to finish while running on a treadmill.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
She did that so she could perform live.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Dave, Dave, would you is there a biggest start?

Speaker 4 (06:33):
I don't think that. Is she bigger than Michael Jackson
right at the.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Peak of their at their palace so to speak.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I mean, I don't think bigger.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
I think she's just joining that like legend club that
like iconic like person and like that this person that's otherworldly.
And I thought it was cool, specifically seeing Paul McCartney
there because think about Beatlemania back in the day, so
he got to sort of see it from another side,
because I feel like her mania is just as crazy.
So for him to be now out in the watching

(07:01):
this insanity must have been kind of a full circle
moment for him.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Did you see you have sat down with her before?

Speaker 5 (07:06):
If I think your daughter had to have security clearance
to hang out now? But what is she like? Like
she she seems lovely, like they've had the chance.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
It it's just her people.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
The second she sits down, she's hugging you, she's joking
with you.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
It's like you've known each other forever.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Like she is genuinely, very genuine to be redundant, but
like she is very real.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
She looks at you in the eye.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
When she's talking to you, And I don't think it's
one of those things where, like you know, some celebrities,
some artists like will come in and they turn it
on like you see them before the MIC's go on,
and they're like foxed in with their people, their manager
and their publicist and then maybe even being nasty, and
then the MIC's come on and they're like, okay, putting
on the show.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
That's not her, that's how she is. It's really cool.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
That's very cool to say quit, just quickly before you
let you go. Ben Fleck, Jay Low, it's over.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
It seems to be over.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Robert dude, it I mean, I know no one was
more excited about them finding again after twenty years. My
heart is fully broken, okay, and me again, it's fully broken.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
So what's the full circle wrong?

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Com He always looks a little broken though, doesn't he
He talked.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
About that, didn't Hey, Yeah, I mean there's a few
rumors going around. I think I told you one of
them last week.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
One of them was that her tour wasn't selling, so
they created this scandal of like an alleged divorce to
like sort of just block out the fact that she
wasn't right selling. And then some people are saying he
fell off the wagon and that he's drinking again.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
But again, these are just rumors.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Have you met him before in your travels.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Ben Affleck, we have not, Like I've had j Loo
multiple times. She's always awesome.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
And annoyingly be annoyingly.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Beautiful, like her face is porcelain, but like there's movements
you're like, have you had worked onne?

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Have you not had worked on?

Speaker 6 (08:45):
Like?

Speaker 3 (08:45):
And she is just fun and good energy.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
When you when you're thinking, did you ask that? Have
you had worked done? Have you not had worked? Done?
It an internal thought?

Speaker 3 (08:54):
That is an internal Yeah, I think I would get
my ass.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
The co rode with us from New York. Now, have
a great day.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Thank you all. Miss you guys. I'll talk to you soon.
