So you probably you're probably fine because it is an
evening with Graham Norton is the name of it, which

But what's an evening like away from the cameras at
home Graham Norton on the couch, what's going on?

I mean, it's so little.

I mean, I can't tell you.

I mean, a bottle of white wine knocking around, and
there's a big telly. That's about it, really and occasionally.
I mean, do you know what, I've become better about
going out because you know that thing. You know, I
live in London. I should go out all the time,
and I'm very bad about it. But I was getting
better at kind of going okay because normally the way

I think about London is there's so many things not
to do. But I've got a little bit better about
going out, so occasionally might go to the theater or
a restaurant or something.

What do you know about New Zealand And is there
something in particular that you'd like to do or see
when you're here?
Speaker 4 (01:30):
The thing I know best about New Zealand is you
produce very nice so many bloc that's really that. That
news has reached me. So hopefully I've been drinking a
lot of that. What else do I want to do?
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Milford Sound? That good at Milford Sound? And is there
some island called Wakiki or something?
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, lovely wine there as well? Hey you can wait?
You can do a winery tour of New Zealand.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
That sounds good to me because what I mean, you know,
I'm doing a tour, but also I am on holiday,
like I think I'm doing fifteen dates and we're going
to be there for six weeks more in between in
between Australia and New Zealand, so we will have a
chance to see the sites hopefully.

We wanted to get you into the New Zealand way
of thinking and just see if you know what these
products are by the name in New Zealand.

Let's start with ginger nuts biscuits. Oh yeah, what yeah,

Now you've got a book, you're doing the tour or
an everything. Does this mean that you're slowly phasing yourself
out of the chat show that we all know would love?

No no, no no, Like I don't know if there
was a guy in Britain a while ago called Dale
Winton and here the mantra, don't quit the hit. So
I'm very aware that the chat show is the reason
for everything else in my life. It's the reason I've
got wine knocking around in New Zealand, it's why I
write books, It's how I'm able to do a.

Tour in New Zealand.

So yeah, the chat show is kind of that's my
that's my core business.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
To sound quite serious, but I have. I've cut it
down a bit.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
I only I do it now from kind of the
end of September to the end of February, so it's
kind of I'm on for half a year, off for
half the year, which means I can, you know, do
things like this, do this tour and travel around well, because.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
It must feel like you've almost met everyone from New
Zealand because they've all been on your rid shir pretty much.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
I mean it's like military service.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
I was on it, I got to be on it.

So I told a story about my grand putting I
drops in my grandfather's eye turned out to be super glue.
I got to tell the story, but then Seth MacFarland
from Family Guy still flip me.

So I feel like there was a win and a loss.

Wow, that's I mean, I don't remember. What I'm thinking
is like, no, this is nuts.

I'm talking to two people from New Zealand and one
of them has been that's right.
