Still fat and sasage.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, yeah, foggy af this morning. Where you guys did
you get hit by that in Castlebury or whatever? Wonder springs?
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Uh? Yeah, a little bit. I went out to ride
my bike and I looked out and I'm like, oh, right,
and can exercise. And my wife's like, it's not raining.
And I look a little more. I'm like, oh, but
it looks way.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
Yeah it is. Though.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
It was weird because when we I was walking my
wife to a car this morning and that we have
this little breezeway that goes from the house to our
garage and it has this stone and it was like
it had this mist like this cover of yeah, do
almost on everything.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
And she's like, did it rain last night? I said, no,
it's this fog.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
It's like, yeah, like air, just floating water. Just floating
in the air like super.
Speaker 6 (01:56):
Thick today and we're supposed to get it again tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Really yeah, yeah, a little cold front coming in after
this warm front. So this is the season where the
weather gets roller.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
Coasterie, do you mean schizophrenic?
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Yeah, that's another one we use for sure.
Speaker 7 (02:09):
Man.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
I gotta tell you. I told you guys about this
last about this yesterday.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Your wife Slundry and stop.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
If you're not watching The Beast in Me, ah, you
may be missing one of the best shows of the
last four months on any service out there.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
I stopped for the last episode because my wife.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
Fell asleep last night.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
But I'm telling you straight up, the the the cliffhanger
for episode seven going into the last episode of this
show is straight bananas good. I'm telling you, if you're
not watching The Beast in Me on Netflix, you got
to check it out. Starring Claar Danes. She is an
amazing actress. I mean amazing, so.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Good dude, got that on your Hulu.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
You would love it, Deborah.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
I mean you like you like like crime drama stuff, right,
Oh yeah, and this is upper level stuff. The writing
is real good, the characters are great, The casting could
not be better. There are twists and turns everywhere. By
the way, you Neel's is in it? Who from Breaking Bad?
The Old Man?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Well? Yeah, yes, what's his name's not yesterday?
Speaker 3 (03:18):
That's an actor that's been in fifty billion things that you've.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Sent the U S Beverly Hills Cop, the Bad Cop,
or the the Jonathan Banks.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yeah, Jonathan Banks. That guy may be the king of
that list. That guy maybe the the head of Mount
Rushmore on. The actors that you could recognize immediately from
their face but never know who couldn't.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Even if you would have been if you'd.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Have given me ten tries to that guy's first name,
I wouldn't have gotten it.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
What's his name again?
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Jonathan Banks?
Speaker 6 (03:48):
Jonathan Bank.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
He's been in everything, but I think he broke in
a lot. But Breaking Bad is really what put him
over the time. Where I saw him the first time,
and where and the first screen appearance that I saw
that made me every time I saw him since then, go, hey,
it's a guy from Memverly Hills. Comp Yes, like never
would learn his name? Oh yeah until recently. You know
who else was that guy is? Walton Goggins? Oh?
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Oh really?
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Yeah, Walton Goggins until recently was the guy that you
saw and you're like, that guy's in everything, but nobody
knows who he is. I remember him from the Shield. Yes, yeah,
and that guy started just now this year. Well, I
mean because he's done a lot of commercials and other stuff,
but you know he does the uh.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Oh, he's been blown up past couple of years. He's
been righteous Jimstones and all those.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
But that guy is finally starting to get his his piece.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
You see him, I did.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah, you know exactly what it is, right yep.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
You're like, oh I know that Yeah, yeah, I know
that face.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
But there is a mount rushmore of people and actors
and entertainers that when you see them, you you could
probably name their portfolio.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
Oh yeah it was in that.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
It wasn't that. Wasn't that. No clue who their name is.
Like a bunch of those people out there. That guy's
like number one though, But man, the beast in me
is a great show.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
Check it out.
Speaker 8 (04:58):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
People always looking for good content.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
And my wife last night, as we were actually this
morning and she was leaving, she goes, man, how lucky
were we just stumble on in this program? Like she
found found it while listening to Rogan. Rogan was talking
about it and said how good it was, And like
I said yesterday, I take everything that dude says with
a grain AsSalt, but he nailed this one.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
It's good.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
I played the preview for my wife and I said
that you want to watch this, and they showed the
clip of them in the driveway having an interaction. She goes,
how about that new Em'stone movie instead? So we watched Bogonia.
Speaker 6 (05:29):
A really weird one.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
It most certainly is, Is it really it is? Does
it have a lot of nudity?
Speaker 4 (05:36):
No?
Speaker 1 (05:36):
No, okay, now that was her last movie, the Once
you won the Academy Award for She was like naked
all the timer. Yes, so this is the changes. Yes, yeah, yeah,
she's a.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Great actress as well, you know, not only that opposite
Jesse Plemons, who's an awesome act day. He was talking
about him yesterday a little bit and he lost all
the weight, Like, yeah, he was called fat Damon for
a while because he looked like a fatter Matt Damon.
He was breaking back, Yes, we saw him on Breaking Back,
but you know, he's been in so much stuff, but
he was fantastic in this as well.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
Really, so what's it about.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
She's a corporate exec, he's a conspiracy theorist that's convinced
that she's an alien, so he must kidnap her, right right? Yeah? Right,
and so you go her head? Yeah yeah, okay, shave
her head?
Speaker 6 (06:22):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, that looks pretty worth watching.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Oh yeah, oh yeah yeah. My wife dipped out halfway
through because there's a it got a little there was
a torture scene where she's like, Okay, I'm out, can't
do that. Yeah, but I'm like, I lean didn't, dude.
I think she would. I think she would love the
beast in me. I think I think so good dramas
are sometimes it's hard to sell in a thirty second
(06:47):
teaser or something. Yeah, yeah, tell her what you guys
watched the first episode.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Look, I'm gonna tell you straight up, if I'd have
known about this during What You Do, you'd be watching
him for that.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
I mean, that's exactly what we'd be doing.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Uh, And if you don't watch it, that's probably what
I'm going to tell you next to watch because it's
that good.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
Have you thought of offering her a favor?
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Hey? You watch this, and how you doing no, No,
he's not reacting. No, he's not even He's like, I
don't even see.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
You, all right, four O seven nine six four one
text us seven seven zero three one. So you know,
we talked about the Oscars making a bit of a
change this past year, right, and the Oscar change was
is now they're going to give out an Oscar for
you guys.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Remember set design, isn't it stunts? Oh?
Speaker 6 (07:31):
Stunts?
Speaker 8 (07:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (07:32):
So really, Yeah, we talked about this. No, we talked
about stunts was one they wanted to but they did it.
They came up with a different one.
Speaker 9 (07:40):
No.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
I thought they were going to include stunts in not
this year, but next year's Oscars.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Okay, that's what I remember. The Grammys have pulled the same. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
See if I'm correcked on that because I know for
a fact that they were considering it, and I thought
they'd already adopted that into the new plan for twenty
twenty seven.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
I don't think it made it in this year.
Speaker 6 (07:58):
Well uh yeah, casting casting and stunt teams.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Casting stunt teams did not make it.
Speaker 6 (08:05):
No, it is stunt teams and casting characters.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Okay, very good. Yeah, you're right. So we talked about
both of those. Maybe one was on the on the
on the fence beforehand.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
Stunt Award will be announced in twenty twenty seven.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
There you go, that's what I thought. Okay, so casting
was the one I missed. So the Grammys used to
do a category. They stopped doing it. No idea why,
well maybe I do know why. But they're bringing it back.
And I have to tell you it's wild because it
actually has nothing to do with music or spoken word,
but it is about the artists so from and I'm
(08:41):
not sure if it's this Grammys. I think it is though,
but I think they're bringing back a Grammy for this.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
And of course you guys know album cover that's exactly
it really, yeah, that's exactly it did.
Speaker 6 (08:51):
One for twenty twenty six. Jack, give yourself a don
did you.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Know that they used to do that, like I did
not like years ago, they used to give out a
Grammy for the album cover.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
But of course, but there are no album covers.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Kind of anymore, right, Like nobody you don't even buy
a CD anymore, Like there's nothing, there's nothing to hold
on to, you know, because that used to be part
of buying an album, was like the cool ass album covers.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Right that in the liner notes, right exactly, So they're
bringing that back.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
I don't know how they're doing it though, because outside
of the digital image like the thumbnail you get online
when you're clicking on it to play it on whatever
streaming service you use, they still have that, you know,
So it's the the artwork, the album artwork. But yeah,
you're just used to seeing it on a little square
on your phone.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
I think it's kind of a cool move though, because
maybe because they're doing this. I don't know though, but
maybe if they're bringing more attention to this that maybe
it'll kind of revive the idea of doing that. I
know they do releases of vinyls, but they're so expensive
now because they press so few of them. But but
having those albums were great back in the day, man
and checking out that absolutely, and some bands really lean
(10:02):
into it, you know, Ping Floyd back in the day
and all the sixties bands.
Speaker 6 (10:05):
How about Sheet and Shawn giving you rolling papers?
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Oh yeah, yeah, the Stones remember the Stones with the
zipper on zipper and then.
Speaker 6 (10:15):
Just like Jack's dong over. I mean, hey, wait a minute, now,
I didn't I'm going to stop.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
But yeah, they're uh, they're they're making that comeback. Yeah,
the album cover is being going to come back after
fifty years. It says sometimes an album cover could be
worth a thousand words, and the Grammys finally agreed the
twenty twenty sixth ceremony will be the first time in
fifty three years, so they are doing it this year
that the award for Best Album Cover will be presented.
Last year, Charlie XCX or in the Accolade for the
(10:42):
Virality of Bratt and it's uh.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
And it's Mukusy Green.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
I guess album cover which I never saw another Charlie
XCX guy, but but I do remember the album.
Speaker 6 (10:53):
What's interesting is that it's going to be a pretty
thin category.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Oh yeah, well, I mean, like you just said.
Speaker 6 (10:58):
Who's putting and artwork and thought process into an album cover?
Speaker 1 (11:04):
They all are. They still do it. They It's just
you don't see it's not as much vinyl, but there's
images on everything. Like if you go to every release,
the artwork is released. I mean, Sabrina Carpenter was getting
grief on her last ye artwork for her latest album
of her you know, being on her knees, and I
(11:24):
believe the Cardi b with the Crow.
Speaker 6 (11:26):
She had a fan dress up as a crow and
meet her at one of her concerts. Oh to her
latest album cover, it.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Says, this isn't exactly new the very first Grammy's in
nineteen fifty nine, Jack, who do you believe? One for
Best album cover? And you're a fan of this entertainer?
That would be Frank Sinata. That would be Frank Sinatra.
Only that's two during this category. Dong yourself up, big boy.
Speaker 6 (11:51):
My goodness, yourself. There's so much wrong with that.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
It says when an album cut fan this, Jesus, did
anybody need.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
To hear that? Absolutely? We did.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Yeah, it says here when when a cover in a
campaign hits right, it's part of the language and fabric
of what makes a record a great record. I don't
know if I agree with that, but it does set
the tone maybe for what's behind the cover. Tools a
big you know, I'm a big Tool fan. So their
album covers are always whacked out. They look like they
look like printed acid trips, so they're kind of fun
to watch. So anyway that's gonna be happening if the
(12:32):
Grammy's coming up, I think it's February first this year.
Check out the Grammys. All right, you guess Grammys fan?
I know Jackson an Awards guy fan. You love a
word shows, don't you?
Speaker 1 (12:40):
I enjoy him? What part of it makes you? Uh?
Watching super rich celebrities pat themselves on the back and
give each other awards and their speeches.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
Yeah, thank you God. Taking shots at the government.
Speaker 6 (12:52):
Yeah, that's a good way to spend three hours.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Sorry for seven text us at seven seven zero three
one double do you ever? News?
Speaker 6 (13:01):
The mayor reacts after an ice shooting in Minneapolis. Closer
to home, Governor Bond de Santis calls for a redistricting
special session. Just can't imagine why and where you're most
likely to keep your New Year's resolutions?
Speaker 1 (13:16):
What cities are the tops for that? We'll talk about that.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
And more coming up next during JCS news.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
You got it.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Take a little break back in a second with Dev's
News and more of the Jim Coolberg Shows.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Stay right there with.
Speaker 10 (13:32):
Hey, Jimmy James. I can speak from knowledge right now.
I just got a new record player, all right, and
already I have about eighty vinyls. Best place to shop
for them, Target Ball Mart, Flea Markets, thrips or state sales.
I got a box of forty three records.
Speaker 11 (13:54):
They even hit.
Speaker 12 (13:55):
Pablo Cruise in it.
Speaker 7 (13:56):
Oh yeah, for only eight bucks.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Yep, check man, that's a good fine. Yeah that is.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
State tails are notoriously good for album hunters because they
don't find value on them. You can for like a buck,
you know most of them. Some people do the research.
Most people do not. A quick service announcement here for
the show. You'll hear commercials on this program and on
the show for stuff for podcasts that play. We have
no power over those things that play on the air.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Wish you did, I wish, But I will tell you this.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Listening to a podcast does not make you a patriot.
Listening to a podcast does not make you a patriot.
I don't care what the podcast says. I don't care
what side of the islet's on you. Listening to a
podcast does not make you a patriot. You wearing a hat,
a T shirt, carrying a flag does not make you
a patriot. Just remember that as you move throughout your
(14:46):
Wednesday might require a little more than that. You say
four seven nine one six one text does at seven
seven zero three one.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
Welcome back to the Jim Colbert Show. I am Jim.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
Jack is right over there, yep. And the lovely Deborah
has your news.
Speaker 7 (15:00):
Oh come, it's time.
Speaker 12 (15:02):
For j I mean.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Wow, this guy gotta put his name on everything.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
It's contracted.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
Here's the news on the Jim Colberg Show that was.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
In your contract is JCS news, brought to you by
that mortgage guy. Don The Democrat mayor of Minneapolis is
angry after a thirty seven year old woman was shot
and killed by ICE. Mayor Jacob Fry says he's dreaded
this moment since ICE was deployed in his city.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
Two Ice, get out. We do not want you here.
Speaker 13 (15:36):
Your stated reason for being in this city is to
create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly
the opposite.
Speaker 14 (15:42):
Now.
Speaker 6 (15:42):
His comments come after Homeland Security says the woman killed
by an ICE agent after they say she tried to
ram her car into federal agents, DHS is calling it
an act of domestic terrorism. Fry said, DHS is trying
to spend the incident as an act of self defense.
Speaker 13 (15:59):
They are already trying to spin this as an action
of self defense.
Speaker 7 (16:05):
Having seen the.
Speaker 13 (16:06):
Video of myself, I want to tell everybody directly that
is bullet.
Speaker 6 (16:11):
Yeah, that's too swear words and one pres com my
man's going a hamme. Homeland Security deployed over two thousand
ICE agents to the twin cities and what it's calling
the quote largest DHS operation ever end quote.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yeah, we saw the video. I have to tell you.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
Obviously she should not have driven away, but that also,
right now should not be a death sentence. We have
it right now at Jim Cooberlive dot com, go to
Real Radio dot fm, slash watch and you can actually
see it.
Speaker 4 (16:34):
We'll play it through the entire segment.
Speaker 6 (16:36):
And what's interesting is that before it was pretty definitive
of them saying what her actions were. Now they're saying
that they're going to UH withheld judgment as more information
as being gather.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Fox News already has a former DEA or a special
agent on right now blaming the driver. And again, I'll
say this out loud. Should not have driven away, should
not have done that, should not also be a death sentence.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
Right well, driving away? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (16:58):
No.
Speaker 6 (16:59):
Governor wait, okay, Governor Ron de Santis wants to pursue
what we had actually covered this yesterday. I don't know
why I have that. State lawmakers are going to Tallahassee
in a few days to convene in the twenty twenty
six legislative session, but Governor Ron de Santis has already
called for a special session toward the end of April
to deal with redrawing the state's congressional districts.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Now.
Speaker 6 (17:20):
In an appearance in Steamhatchie, the governor says the US
Supreme Court needs to weigh in on the issue.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
First.
Speaker 15 (17:26):
There's a US Supreme Court case that's likely to say
that racial jerry mandering is unconstitutional. We have a couple
districts that has been thought that the Voting Rights Ack
mandates racial jerry mandering. So that's going to force it
one way or another.
Speaker 6 (17:44):
The governor says, the state's population has changed so much
that everyone deserves equal representation in Congress.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Okay, back to that story.
Speaker 6 (17:51):
Governor rond de Santis wants to pursue state charges against
former Venezuelan President Nicholas Maduro, but a local attorney says, Wow,
that's going to be extremely difficult. Nie Jame law partner
Ryan Vessio used to be a state prosecutor, and he
talked yesterday after Desanta said he wanted to bring drug
trafficking charges against Maduro in the state right, He says,
the state may have a case, but he doubts Maduro
(18:13):
will ever step foot in a Florida courtroom. He tells
Channel nine it's unlikely Maduro will ever be released from
federal custody.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
He's not going home. No no, He's never going home.
No no, no. They should have put him right next
to Noriega.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
No I heard he's next in line to coach the Giant.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
It's an interesting rapper to Kashi six' nine has just
been sent to the same prison Where maduro is being,
held as well As Larichi.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Mangione well all, right that's a hell of a, band isn't. It.
Speaker 6 (18:45):
Now there is help for folks who are experiencing flu like.

help for the forty two year. Old they said they
called security instead of calling nine one one and getting
an ambulance, there and that's what led to the. Delay
the family is asking for damages an excess of fifty thousand, dollars.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
As well as a jury. Trial here you all.
Speaker 6 (20:36):
Right, meanwhile a judge is dismissing a lawsuit Against SeaWorld
orlando over a woman who said she was hit in
the face by a duck while riding The Maco.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Coaster, yeah this actually revives my faith in the justice.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
System by the way this, happened.
Speaker 6 (20:52):
The park, argued, listen the bird was actually a snowy
egret and it can't be held responsible for the actions
of a wild. Animal the judge, agreed citing prior case
law that requires Proof SeaWorld owned or introduced the animal
to the. Park the writer now has twenty days to
file an amended. Complaint there you. GO i think that's
going to. Happen, No, no that's not going to. Happen all,
(21:15):
right it was it was such a good, idea but,
YEAH i could see where it could use some. Tweaking
and that's The state's attempt to protect animals from abuse
may have some.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
Flaws have you guys heard about?
Speaker 4 (21:26):
This i'm not.
Speaker 6 (21:27):
Okay, well as part Of Dexter's, law the state established
a registry right that identifies those who have been found
guilty of animal. Cruelty, Right so if you've, been you,
know convicted of that and you go to a shelter
and try to, adopt they're going to be able to
look up your information and say.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
No.
Speaker 6 (21:41):
Well, unfortunately critics say the registry only includes the, names
no other identifying, information so an innocent person with the
same name as an abuser could be on the. List
and apparently a lot of shelters are dealing with just this.
Factory oh that's that's, wild, really Isn't yeah, exactly it
seems so random to have nineteen. Nineties come, on it's
(22:03):
twenty twenty. Five district sixty One State Representative Linda cheney
says she's working to fix. That she Tells fox thirty.
Five she's in talks with THE fdl and the governor
to add more info to the, registry like middle names
and information county officials may.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
HAVE i, mean if we can.
Speaker 6 (22:20):
Get a sex predator list that has, addresses, photographs, names
dates of, birth how can you not have that same
kind of registry for someone who abuses an?
Speaker 3 (22:27):
ANIMAL i mean a photograph will, do, right and that
Will it'll be a name and then the. Photograph it's
Like Nate bargatsi, says if you just look at the,
picture it'll some you, know they'll just kind of wrap
things up for.
Speaker 6 (22:37):

(31:53):
There use that to record your. Comments send it over To.
Jack the cool thing about the App, also you can
do it as many times as you, need get it.
Right you can edit it down so it sounds great as.
Well make sure you have your radio down and your
windows up when you do the, recording because we can't
play stuff that sounds bad on the. Air that's our
job to sound bad on the area.
Speaker 6 (32:10):
Exactly and you did say mentioned about keeping your radio, Down, yeah, yeah,
Yeah well we were laughing a little bit When Concrete
mike left his talk back As jim AND i were
just referencing the texting service before we came back from
break because someone texted us at seven seven zero three.
One this is absolutely the worst FLU i have ever
experienced in my fifty seven years of. Life started on
(32:31):
twelve twenty, nine and barely feel any better no matter
WHAT i do for this. Crap wash your, hands, people
if your, stick stay at. Home MY psa to help
people avoid this. FLU i, mean it's.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Doodle Concrete mike said that he was down for like
four weeks or, something, right, literally he just came back
to life a couple of weeks. Ago read two stories this,
morning one A florida based, story one a national story
talking about how bad.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
The flu season is going to, be specifically in The
south this. Year i'm gonna get the dumb.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
Shot, YEAH i probably gonna wind up getting it as.
Well here's the, thing you. WON'T i don't KNOW i.
WILL i, Mean i'm not afraid of the. SHOT i
do flu shots all the. TIME i have no problem
with flu. Shots and if it's gonna be NAR i
will do. IT i have no problem with.
Speaker 6 (33:09):
It that's the Sickest i've ever, been actually was with the.
Flu you're not gonna, go, oh is This why would
you even say?
Speaker 1 (33:19):
THAT i don't think. SO i think like you think it's, like,
Yeah i'll go, like you're not opposed to doing, it
but you're not gonna do.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
It, No i'm telling, you, DUDE i gotta tell you
here what's gonna. Happen i'll tell you exactly what's gonna.
Happen SOMEBODY i know is gonna get. It, yeah and
Then i'm gonna run THE. Cbs i'm gonna make it
and give it to me through the drive. Through i'm
gonna stick my arm to the window and shoot. Me
we are gonna be talking about This minnesota thing a
little bit. Later we may even open the phones for this.
THING i don't know if you've seen the video. Yet
(33:47):
we opened up a little bit during, news made a
couple of comments about. It texting service is lightened, up
and a couple buddies THAT i talked to in the
texting service have differing opinions of what happened. Here you
can actually see the. Video it's playing. Everywhere we actually
had it playing during the news as. Well you, know
there are differing. Opinions, obviously one side of the aisle
is gonna have one. Opinion the other side of the
(34:08):
aisle is gonna have the other. OPINION i FIND i
found MY i find myself thinking more like an independent
these days than you, know than, anything, really just trying
to be as logical as, possible not letting any influence
politically on either side affect my opinion of what should
or should not. Happen the people in the texting service were,
saying it's a split second, decision. Understood but when you
(34:28):
watch the, video you can see the woman turning the
wheel to go down the. ROAD i me know, again
if you think about, it if she wanted to be
malicious and run the dude, over she would have just
kept going straight and running. Over i'm not saying that,
Either like she obviously did the wrong. THING i wonder
how knee jerk the reaction is from the. Agent people
(34:49):
are saying it's a split second. Decision that's absolutely. True
easy to sit in the studio In, Maitland florida make
these decisions from a thousand miles. Away but you, know
when you see the, video you could make your own.
Determination but we will bring that up for conversation a
little bit later in the program and maybe even take
a couple of calls to see what the temperature of
the community is based on. This but the video again
(35:10):
playing right now At Jim kolbersher dot com or Real
radio DOT fm slash. WATCH ice agents are approaching AND.
Suv the ONE ice agent is saying get out of the,
car using some. Profanity she turns to go. Away she's
obviously turning to go down the. Road the agent that's
in front of the vehicle probably thought or obviously thought
that she was going to run him. Over he shoots
(35:33):
two or three rounds into the, window striking her and killing.
Her she crashes just down the road and the gentleman
who pulled the, trigger put his gun in the holeser
and just started walking casually toward the.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
Vehicle and she's.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
Gone so you, know this is going to be debated
for a. WHILE i don't know what's going to happen
to the. Agent if, ANYTHING i don't. Know, THEY'LL i,
mean they'll probably be able to make a pretty good
case that he was defending himself because the vehicle was in.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Motion but, again so it.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Chows an agent in the front left, corner but another
one at the driver's side.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
Window that's the one that's cursing at, her saying get
the f out of the. Car and then as and
he goes to reach into the, window that's when she
turns the wheel and starts. Going and it looks like to,
me she's trying to go down the, road but there
is an agent right there on the left hand corner by,
her by.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
The front of the, car by the front of The,
yes he's the one most in. Danger, yes he's the
one who. Shot is he the one who?
Speaker 4 (36:26):
SHOT i think?
Speaker 3 (36:27):
So, yeah when you look at the when you look
at the, video it looks like he's the one who,
shot because he's the one reholstering his weapon after the.
Shot we're watching it right. Here, boom, yeah, yeah that Is, yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
He's the one who.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
Shot but if you, look it's kind of wild because
people are obviously saying that he was directly in front
of the.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Vehicle it doesn't look like that to. Me he was
on the.
Speaker 4 (36:48):
Corner but if she's not, turning then he's in front
of the.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
Vehicle, Understood but if you're, there you, know to give
the ice agent to the benefit of the. Doubt, here
if you're, there THERE'S i don't know that you can
see that she's turning the. Wheel if the vehicle's. Moving
he obviously thought his life was in. Danger she, obviously
in my, opinion is trying to turn to go down the,
road has no interest in running the guy. Over but
(37:13):
it's so hard to determine because it is a split second.
Decision you can see it right. THERE i, mean we're
having on the big. Screen you can play it up.
Here it'd be easier to. See so you tell, Me,
jack we can't pause it that the guy that's up
on the left hand. Corner there's the guy and then
here's the other. Guy he's already drawing his.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Weapon they don't show the, shot but There, yeah they
they blocked out on THE tv. Shot so we're showing
it right, now that's right after his, shot and it's
it's the agent that's in front of the, vehicle, Right,
yeah he is in front the front left quadron of the. Vehicle.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Unbelievable what a tragedy for, sure you, KNOW i MEAN
i think you can make the case for.
Speaker 4 (37:55):
It, yeah he's.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Still he's giving.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
Himself, yeah one hundred.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
Percent and AGAIN I i LIKE i was telling people
in the texting, service you, KNOW i obviously she should
not have done. THAT i don't think that should warrant
a death. Sentence but many people are saying that if
you're that agent and you see that car, turning the
fact that she's leaving in at all after being told
by an officer to stay, put you have to at that,
point she's you, know she's breaking the, law and he
(38:21):
has to defend.
Speaker 6 (38:21):
Himself, well, absolutely to defend. Himself Part but are they law?
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Enforcement, WELL i mean, yeah they're federal law, enforcement aren't
they ice?
Speaker 1 (38:29):
Agents?
Speaker 3 (38:29):
YEAH i think it's a federal law Enforcement that's why
they would have.
Speaker 6 (38:32):
Your, no there's so much miss there's so much history
surrounding and.
Speaker 3 (38:36):
LOOK i would agree with you in some, senses but
in this, CASE i mean these, GUYS i mean the
car that they pulled up in had flashing. Lights they
are all dressed in uh. IN i believe if you
look at the beginning part of the, video every one
of them is identified on their front part of their
of their bulletproof vest as either a federal agent OR
fbi NOT, fbi or d not Da Ges louise As ICE.
Speaker 6 (39:00):
Dhs you're, thinking, yeah maybe something like, that are a
homeland Security but can you play.
Speaker 1 (39:06):
That, Again?
Speaker 3 (39:06):
Jack, Sure, yeah we've gotta go to break here in a,
second But i'm gonna see if you can see if
the agents actually Are, YEAH i mean you can clearly
see that they're they're you, know they're officers of some.
Sort and the guy walks, up he starts pulling on the,
thing and then, yeah, yeah it's tough, man that's.

Speaker 22 (41:00):
But this IS pte.
Speaker 23 (41:00):
Cruiser he is a pt skink or a pretensled tail,
skink which means he can use his tail to grab onto,
things which he has been trying very hard to do
onto this fun enrichment.
Speaker 3 (41:08):
Board but he is a pt, skink so that tail
is different than any other of The i'm gonna say
lizard as a you, know as a common term or
but it kind of understands, reptile lizard or. Whatever But
i've noticed his tail is, thick like it looks like
a possum's. Tail, yeah it, does BECAUSE i mean it's
not it doesn't go down to a. Point it's like
(41:29):
it's like thick all the way.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
Down.
Speaker 24 (41:32):
Yeah his tail is incredibly strong and very, muscular so
they don't tend to drop their tail like other species of.
Lizards so because it's, prehensile that means like hand like or,
grasping so you know when you're carrying your car keys
and groceries and all these other things and you just
need that extra. Hand he's got, one but he uses
his tail instead because he's cool and. Sophisticated, yeah what
does he do with? IT i, mean does he hang
(41:53):
from a trigue in front of?
Speaker 3 (41:54):
Me what would you what would a what would a
reptile or a lizard like that need with a pretensled.
Speaker 24 (41:59):
Tail so he likes to eat lots of plants and.
Vegetables so he does live in a rainforest type. Environment
and so even when he's back at the, zoo in his,
habitat he will actually hang by his. Tail you will
reach his salad when he feels a little bit too
lazy to climb down to go get.
Speaker 1 (42:14):
It, Wow i've been that.
Speaker 24 (42:16):
Drunk, well you, know if your favorite food is just
barely out of reach and you got you, know a
few one hundred feet of tree below you that you
don't really want to, fall you, know having an extra
long tail is kind of.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
Helpful exactly how old is?
Speaker 22 (42:30):
He so he is going to be seventeen In. February
really he can?
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Drive? Now, yeah, wow, Man i've not have you brought
him in. Before it's been a long.
Speaker 23 (42:42):
Time we've never brought out the enrichment board to have with,
him so this is something. New but it's been a hot.
Minute SO i decided it was time for him to
come Back South.
Speaker 24 (42:49):
America, actually, uh The Solomon. Islands so the closest point
of reference for a lot of people to understand would be.
Speaker 22 (42:55):
Like the off the coast Of. Australia.
Speaker 6 (42:58):
Yeah, yeah and that's the only about where they're. Found
that's where they're found.
Speaker 23 (43:03):
MOSTLY i, mean obviously a lot of skinks have kind
of traveled to different areas at this, point whether it
was on purpose or an, accident but that's where they're
mostly going to be.
Speaker 3 (43:12):
Based he has to be one of those because you've
brought other skinks in and they're. TINY i, mean you,
know like like you're like in a, knoll LIKE i,
mean like a yard, lizard, right like you would see
all the. Time now he's. BIG i, mean he's got
to be like two and a half three foot. LONG i,
mean is he the larger of the species of?
Speaker 23 (43:26):
Skink, yeah so he's a pretty good sized. Skink so
we have the blue tongue skink that we brought, before
we have the skinks that we have here In florida
running around obviously not quite this. Big this would probably
be a little more terrifying for most. People but, yeah
he can get up to thirty two inches, long so. Damn,
yeah he's pretty. Big and when they give, birth the
babies are already one third the size of the.
Speaker 1 (43:44):
Mom.
Speaker 3 (43:44):
Damn, really, really what makes us skink different than let's
say in iguana or you, know any of the other
reptiles or lizards that you bring.
Speaker 1 (43:53):
In what what makes us skink?
Speaker 24 (43:54):
Specific, Yeah so for the, skinks they tend to have
that kind of like try angular shaped like broad head
for some of. Them they are a type of lizards
that they do have the external ear, holes and this
one is a little bit. Different so he is the
largest species of skink in the world with his tail.
Speaker 22 (44:13):
Included he's going.
Speaker 3 (44:17):
Down and by the, way you know when you say
his head, Shape so for people out, there like if
you saw like a, viper like a pit viper or
a snake, viper he has that same kind of shape
like triangular viper, head doesn't He.
Speaker 22 (44:30):
Yeah but he's not, Venomous he's not.
Speaker 24 (44:32):
Poisonous, instead he's actually primarily, herbivorous which is kind of
unusual for a lot of species of. Skink most of
them are carnivorous or. Omnivorous but he loves. FLOWERS i
have never seen him move so fast as when he's
being presented with a hybiscus.
Speaker 6 (44:48):
Flowers a little faster when we're giving.
Speaker 24 (44:51):
Flowers he's A february. Baby you, know flowers go together.
Speaker 3 (44:57):
Eats no protein, like no animal, protein worms or insects or.
Speaker 23 (45:01):
Nothing, nope but just, fruit veggies and let us wow
really and.
Speaker 1 (45:04):
Flowers? Wow so, unique. MAN i know it's.
Speaker 6 (45:07):
Cool and what's really cool is that, parents we had
mentioned this. Yesterday you've got spring break coming, up you've
Got President's Day, break you've got a few days off from.
School maybe you can't take the time off from, work
and what do you do with the. Kids The Central
Florida zoo has an, answer don't, You, yeah you.
Speaker 24 (45:24):
Do so we actually have several school break camps this.
Year so we added on Our Mlkday, camp which is
On january. Nineteenth we also have Our President's Day camp
On february, sixteenth and then.
Speaker 22 (45:36):
Of course we've got the big.
Speaker 24 (45:37):
One Spring break camp is coming up sooner than you,
think and we have camps for all, ages so please
be sure to check it out on our. Website we're
wrapping Up Lantern. Festival the last day for, that it's
going to be On january. Eighteenth and then we have something.
Newer we Have bruise around The zoo In february this,
year right.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Right, yes folks and parents that just got your kids
back to, school she did say spring break will be
here before you know.
Speaker 6 (46:01):
It when it is spring, break.
Speaker 24 (46:03):
Spring break is going to Be march sixteenth through the.
Speaker 3 (46:08):
Twentieth and for the, record the reason we are having
these guys in now to tell you about these, camps
they fill up so fast because you got to, remember
people who've already been to these camps are kind of
already in the, system so they already kind of know
they're part of the they part they are part of the.
System so if you do want to get in one
of these, camps you, know we just kind of suggest
(46:28):
you get there as quickly as possible because they do fill.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
Up, quick do they?
Speaker 1 (46:31):
Not they?
Speaker 24 (46:31):
Do and if you are, curious if there is still any,
availability it does sometimes stay in on the. Website but
if you're confused or have any questions or want to
register over the, phone please feel free to give us
a call extension one two. Three just call THE zeus
main number and extension one two three in Our Education programs.
Coordinator we'll be more than happy to help you.
Speaker 22 (46:52):
Out and he is, going, oh.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Yeah is this one of your favorite lizards or?
Speaker 4 (46:55):
WHATEVER i?
Speaker 1 (46:56):
Mean, WEIRD i feel weird saying that. Word it doesn't
feel Sith eric.
Speaker 4 (46:59):
Enough well.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
They're, reptiles, right, yeah, Right verry.
Speaker 23 (47:04):
CHARISMATIC i love watching him on this board because he
usually just moves, around but he's being way more active
than he normally. Is so we were, like, oh it's
going to be a chill vibe and he's just like yeah.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Whatever we have a textor Named tommy wants to know
if you can eat, Them.
Speaker 22 (47:18):
SO i wouldn't recommend.
Speaker 24 (47:20):
It there's a lot more tastier, things If i'm going
to be, honest there's a lot of, scales a lot
of armor if you, will that's on. Him maybe a
lot of. Work but they are preyed on by a
variety of birds and other like larger mammals and stuff
on The Solomon.
Speaker 3 (47:33):
Islands that's WHAT i mean when they say in the trees,
though it's got to be, difficult, RIGHT i mean they
would only really get predated on when they would come
down for any. Reason or is there is there an
animal that? Also Is is it a?
Speaker 4 (47:46):
Boreal is that the?
Speaker 21 (47:46):
Word?
Speaker 1 (47:47):
Yeah our boyl that that that prays on them other
than the.
Speaker 24 (47:50):
Birds, again like birds are like larger. Mammals BUT i
mean their main protection is going to be that, camouflage
so he is. Green he's on a green, board but
if you the shadows of the, trees the sunlight rays
and things like, that it would be very difficult to see.
Him and so they move usually a little bit slower
unless they're. Excited he's starting off twenty twenty six with
(48:10):
his new fitness.
Speaker 6 (48:11):
Gools someone just texted us saying that they had a
cat that started having seizures and a neighbor said it
was from eating a? Skink is that? True is there
anything like with the native skinks To florida that pet
owners need to be aware.
Speaker 23 (48:24):
OF i, mean there might not be anything specifically on that,
skink but if it's traveling through like a garden that
had pesticides or something on, IT i mean you don't
know what that animal and so who knows what was
on them when the cat ate? It and you, know
that's not to say that skinks don't have that reaction
for some, animals but generally.
Speaker 1 (48:41):
Not, yeah that's not. Anything usually you shouldn't feed him
To tommy The texter or your. Pets right.
Speaker 22 (48:49):
Birth making smart dietary, choices.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
Birthing process for this, animal breeding process for the, animal
live birth. Eggs how often do they give?
Speaker 23 (48:59):
Birth, yeah so they get birth about every other, year
and it's usually a singular one considering it takes up
it's about the third of the mom's.
Speaker 22 (49:05):
Body there's not.
Speaker 23 (49:06):
A lot of room for more but their bib at,
birth so they actually give live.
Speaker 22 (49:09):
Birth so oh. Wow they even have a placenta.
Speaker 1 (49:12):
Too really very, cool, man what an interesting animal for.
Speaker 23 (49:16):
Sure we also have another one Named valkyrie that was
actually born at the zoo and one of the herb
keepers was lucky enough to be there when it was
born and she was so.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
EXCITED i. Bet.
Speaker 6 (49:24):
So are your skinks part of a breeding program or.
Speaker 22 (49:27):
Yes so they.
Speaker 3 (49:28):
Are.
Speaker 24 (49:28):
So all the preh andsile tailed skinks that we have
are just one of the many species that we have
at our zoo that are part of The Species Survival
program OR.
Speaker 22 (49:36):
Ssp so we partner with.
Speaker 24 (49:38):
Zoos and aquariums across the globe to preserve that genetic
diversity and kind of do a little bit of online
matchmaking to see.
Speaker 1 (49:46):
If they would be.
Speaker 24 (49:46):
Left, yeah, yeah wipe left and hopefully pair them up
and they Find love's.
Speaker 4 (49:52):
Got some chonky ass legs to look at.
Speaker 1 (49:54):
Him yeah he.
Speaker 6 (49:54):
Does, yes you can even better now at our YouTube, channel.
Speaker 22 (49:58):
Got some gams on him to be strong to climb
those trees.
Speaker 3 (50:02):
Now to do the when the breeding process comes, THROUGH i,
mean is there is there a sign they give you
that they're in that world or do you guys always
just kind of keep them in with another with a
female version of that, animal so when it, happens it,
happens or how do you guys determine when that's going
to go.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
Down so it just depends on the.
Speaker 23 (50:19):
Species for OUR hrp, team they do have the two
of them together right, now and so it would they
wouldn't stop it if they saw that, happen Right, Yeah
also that'd be. Rude, Yeah but otherwise for certain animals
that you only introduce because they wouldn't live, together you
only want to do the introductions during the breeding, process
so then you would be looking for a. Sign so
like with our leopards and things like, that and our,
(50:40):
fuso we're only going to really put them together when
we're hoping that they breathe right and we're looking for
the estraus signs from the female who's letting us know
she's you, know receptive to a male. Pursuer and then
when you would do the, howdies making sure there's no,
aggression and then eventually you just look at all the,
cues hope it goes well and do the.
Speaker 4 (50:57):
Intro, yeah a couple of rum and cokes and let them.
Speaker 6 (50:58):
Roll what's what's the website where folks could go to
get their rum and cokes and get their kids in
camp and check out The Asian Lantern.
Speaker 24 (51:09):
Festival you can go To Central Florida zoo dot org
and For bruce this, year just speaking of rum and,
coke it is going to be a tasting festival and
we're doing not just one.
Speaker 22 (51:20):

Speaker 1 (51:21):

Good Real radio and use that mike to send your
comment over to. Us back in a second with more
of The Jim Colbert.
Speaker 4 (53:23):
Show, hello, everyone Stifle.
Speaker 16 (53:31):
Jeremy here to the guy who left that message about
if you had a, gun or if the guy had a,
gun he could have shot that. Gator let me tell you, something,
buddy he must not have a lot of experience with
gators because there's only one spot you gonna kill that.
Gator and trying to shoot an eleventh foot gator in
the back of the head when.
Speaker 7 (53:46):
He's trashing around in the, water no, way, buddy no.
Speaker 16 (53:50):
Way best way to avoid that gator is stay out
of the, water away from the.
Speaker 1 (53:53):
Gator, well mean night they were not.
Speaker 25 (53:56):
Canoe, Hey Jimmy, jack dam, man you, KNOW i can't
even be weird. Today today sucks just from the news
and the talking and the. Thing it's just a little
bit warmer and that is gonna get cold. Again but,
man thank you for being here SO i can at
(54:19):
least listen to something who lighten it up a. Little thanks.
Speaker 3 (54:25):
Honey, look, buddy you know here's the. Thing we love lightening.
Up nobody likes doing that more than us here at
The Jim Colber, show for. Sure BUT i mean we
also have a responsibility, to you, know talk about things
that are pertinent to what's happening in the world and around,
us and that that's, happening so we talk about.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
It we don't want To we're not gonna linger on
it by any, means you.
Speaker 3 (54:42):
Know, obviously you, know more information will come out as
we move throughout the day and then tomorrow we can
have blurbs on it, then but we have a bunch
of stuff to talk about that doesn't have anything to
do with politics or topical stuff that's. Happening but when
that kind of stuff, breaks you gotta talk about, it.
Speaker 4 (54:55):
Buddy it's what we.
Speaker 3 (54:56):
Do boras seven nine when six four one text us
seven seven is the row three to.
Speaker 4 (55:00):
One welcome back On. Jim there's Deb Hello jack is
here as.
Speaker 3 (55:03):
Well hi, There and by the, way we don't enjoy
it sometimes as, well like we don't want to talk
about this. Stuff we'd love to talk about album covers
and things like that all the, time but unfortunately some
things happen in the world where you can't ignore.
Speaker 1 (55:13):
THEM i, mean it makes you look irresponsible if you do.
Well it's part of the responsibility you talk. About it
doesn't make you a patriot listening to a, podcast which is.
True but what makes you a Good american and a
good citizen is paying attention to what goes on in your,
country being well, informed and exercising your right to vote
(55:35):
because it's a you, know a representative, republic you know
where you are responsible for what your leaders do and
when they step astray of where you think the direction
we should be, going it's up to you to speak
up and to vote. Accordingly sure, Thing but you know
(55:56):
part of that is being. Informed. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
Yeah earlier in the, show, uh you, Know i'd made
a comment about you don't have to wear a hat
or listen to a certain podcast to be a, patriot
or that doesn't make you a. Patriots somebody texted and,
said what makes you a?
Speaker 1 (56:09):
Patriot?
Speaker 3 (56:09):
Now we're just thrown a, lot thrown around a lot In,
washington and that is an interesting. QUESTION i would, say
what would you say makes you a? Patriot? Jack following
the laws of THE us and keeping the US's goodwill
at your heart at all.
Speaker 1 (56:24):
Times, yeah doing what's in the best interests of your,
country more so than just trying to get.
Speaker 4 (56:30):
Ahead you, KNOW i think what do you mean by?
Speaker 3 (56:34):
That, well it's, not in other, words not just taking
from the country.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
Exactly. Yeah, yeah, YEAH i bring something to your. Community,
YEAH i. Think you, Know kennedy kind of laid it
out and in his inaugur INAUGURATION i believe is inauguration
when he.
Speaker 6 (56:48):
Gave that, speech, asked not what the country can do for?
You but what you can do for the country.
Speaker 1 (56:52):
Voting being, informed you, know an informed, populist because, otherwise you,
know you can't allow people to get in. Position they
they feed you a bunch of, crap and you, know
you just, okay, yeah you, know you just rubber stamp. Everything.
Speaker 3 (57:08):
YEAH i JUST i got through talking to a guy
on the texting, service and you, know he's obviously A
trump supporter and you, know a pretty far Right republican.
There he'd made the comments, to you, know kind of
make me believe THAT i, just you, know, basically, Soul
i'm telling, him, look, man just to you, know make
sure you always keep your horizons. Broad you you've got
(57:28):
to take in more information than just one side of the.
Story and that goes for, anybody whether you only consumes
h information from the left side or you only consume
information from the right. Side you have to mix in
things that you that maybe make you, uncomfortable even maybe
maybe go to places you don't really normally, read so
that you can kind of understand what everybody is feeling
(57:51):
rather than just your. Opinion because, unfortunately when you talk
to people like, me if you come at me with
one side of the story and you can't have an
opinion about something because you're so clocked into that and
you don't and there's a loyalty that goes beyond. LOGIC
i can't really have a conversation with. You it's hard
to talk to somebody who simply won't even consider an
(58:13):
option to what they. Think And i've Changed AND i
think one of the great signs of intellect is being
able to change your. Mind AND i think that's scientifically
been proven that you. Know part of that and part
of being logical and intellectual is the ability to, say,
HEY i got that one.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
WRONG i do that all the. TIME i got.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
THAT i get stuff wrong all the. Time But i'm
always willing to learn and morph into a better.
Speaker 4 (58:33):
PERSON i try to try to. DO i, MEAN i
don't get it right every.
Speaker 1 (58:36):
Time it's great to read and listen to things of
an opposing, viewer so you can either learn something, new
maybe change your, mind or reinforce why you believe what you. Believe.
Speaker 3 (58:50):
Right, YEAH i Think Fox news is the biggest clown
show idea of what a news organization should or supposed to.
Speaker 1 (58:57):
BE i read.
Speaker 3 (58:59):
IT i READ o And, newsmax AND i read them
every day of my. LIFE i have nothing in common
with any of those news, stories BUT i read it
every single day of my life because you never know
what you may stumble. Onto so you got to do
it if you want to be informed and you want
to have conversations that are valuable to people who understand
(59:20):
the bigger picture in. Life sometimes you have to inundate
yourself with stuff that isn't really down your.
Speaker 4 (59:25):
Lane that's how you do, it or at least part of.
Speaker 1 (59:28):
It you agree with that Deb oh, yeah with that out.
Speaker 3 (59:30):
SURE i mean you're you've been in the news business
for many, years you, know and you could probably tell
somebody leans one way or the. Other but the fact
is IS i would never let facts get in the
way of my, opinion OR i would never let a
party affiliation get in the way of logic and.
Speaker 1 (59:44):
Truth that's that's for damn. Sure and you know that
really goes to the, well for, instance it's, shooting you,
know and even you you made the comment about how
people are taking their like put the their political sides
and people or assuming, That, well if you're A trump,
supporter you're saying that shooting is, justified and if you're,
(01:00:06):
not you're saying it's. Not that's not the. Case it's
politics should not never play in that play into this particular. Situation.
Politics maybe why ice is in the city is one,
thing but this actual shooting is an event, that you,
know politics aside it is. IRRELEVANT i saw a law
(01:00:26):
enforcement officer in front of the vehicle as a pull.
FORWARD i believe there is a case to be made
that he felt threatened for his.
Speaker 4 (01:00:33):
Life you, know could he have gotten out of the.
Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
Way, now in hindsight watching it doesn't look like she's
turning away from. Him we know. That, yeah yeah he
didn't at the. Moment you can look at it and see.
Speaker 4 (01:00:44):
It but he's right.
Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
There he's not gonna look down at the tires and
GO i wonder which way she's gonna.
Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
Go, yeah that.
Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
Car starts, moving he's in front of. It she's fleeing an.
Officer he's doing what he can do just to go
home that.
Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
Night DO i? Agree so that's HOW i feel about the.
Shooting DO i agree with how this president in sandling? Immigration?
No DO i agree with how the previous president handle?
Speaker 4 (01:01:03):
Immigration?
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
No, right, exactly so exactly.
Speaker 4 (01:01:07):
One thousand percent.
Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Right and you and here's the. Thing there can be
a middle ground. THERE i was talking to.
Speaker 3 (01:01:12):
A guy that texts us all the time, earlier and you,
know he'd you, know AS i brought this. Up you,
know he came in not, hot but he just came
in with an. Opinion AND i, said you know what
the funny thing is about. It you, KNOW i only
hear about you from this. STUFF i never hear from
you when When trump Or republicans do something really dumb
or say something really, dumb you never jump into the.
Speaker 4 (01:01:30):
Conversation then why is?
Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
That and that's AND i told, him that's WHY i
discount your opinion sometimes because you simply will not accept
that the other side make. Mistakes and if they do make,
mistakes your, mom if you're going to pipe up about
stuff That democrats do, stupid and they do a lot
of stupid, stuff you should be able to pipe up
and say When republicans do stupid, stuff because they also
do a bunch of stupid. Stuff if you argue with
(01:01:52):
me just one, Side i'm not going to listen to
you because your opinion is invalid because you're not, assuming
or you're not bringing in all of the available information
and using logic to get to the right. Answer or
in at least an answer that makes sense, anyway all,
right four seven nine six one four one text us
at seven to seven zero three.
Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
One just got a text from Me. Vaai he, said
thank you for lightening it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:15):
UP i appreciate it you And i'll give you a
good example of. This have you seen the White house dot?
Gov have you seen The january sixth thing on The White?
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
House?
Speaker 4 (01:02:23):
Oh did you read?
Speaker 19 (01:02:24):
It?
Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
NO i heard about. IT i saw the report about.
It we watched.
Speaker 3 (01:02:29):
That we literally narrated that event as it went down
on the air.
Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
Line.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
CORRECT i watched every single minute of The january sixth
trials or the. THING i heard all of the testimony from.
Everybody i've watched, Everything i've read so much about. It
that depiction of what happened that day on The White
house website is a.
Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
Joke it is a complete.
Speaker 4 (01:02:51):
Joke, YEAH i.
Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
Agree it.
Speaker 3 (01:02:54):
Is a complete and utter fabrication of the truth from
the first syllable to the.
Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
Last and it's back in the face all the law
enforcement who work that day not only, work but we're.
Injured and and.
Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
By the, way if that was A democrat president doing
the same, THING i would say the same exact. Thing
and here's WHY i watched it. Happen, YEAH i know the.
Truth you can't gaslight. ME i was in the front.
ROW i watched.
Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
It you saw what.
Speaker 3 (01:03:19):
Happened and you, know for them to say on the
website that The Capitol police escalated that to that, situation
they blamed The Capitol police And Nancy pelosi for.
Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
That that isn't. True so what do you?
Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
Do, yeah you have a conversation with somebody who reads
that believes every word of, it you. KNOW i MEAN
i would just sit down and watch the. Videos all
you have to, Do that's ALL i would ask you to.
Do just sit and watch the. Videos you can YouTube
all the. Videos just go to the feeds from the
news stations and watch them. All AND i don't care
what station it. Is just watch every bit of it
and you will tell it and you will. See try
(01:03:57):
to pair that up with what's on The White house
website and you will see it's completely and utterly.
Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Faulse texts are asking About Scott. Natchell he's off this,
Week he'll be back next. Week yeah for?
Speaker 5 (01:04:08):
Sure all?
Speaker 3 (01:04:08):
Right for seven nine six four one text us at
seven seven is zero three one something in your house
could be killing you what? Now and the fact is
is you probably don't even think that because what could
be causing some major. Issues and by the, WAY i
have a little bit of experience in this BECAUSE i
have a. BUDDY i have a buddy that actually got
told by somebody you got to chill out on this
(01:04:31):
because this could wind up hurting you in the long.
Run AND i ain't gonna kill you next week or
the week after, that but if you do this over
a period of, time it could be really bad for.
Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
You no.
Speaker 4 (01:04:42):
Is it it my glade? Plugin, no not your?
Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
Plugin ugly.
Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
Candles candles is the, answer. Man there's a story in
THE ap today because what what happens in environments like
ours is it doesn't really get cold enough to fire
up your fireplace a, lot, Right so what a lot
of people do In florida when they have fireplaces to
emulate having a fire is they'll put candles in their,
Fireplace like have you seen that that?
Speaker 4 (01:05:05):
Trend?
Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:05:07):
Yeah they'll stack a bunch of candles in there and
they'll burn them in. There and the story from THE
ap basically is, saying he's, like, look, man you know
the warm spices of, gingerbread and the woodsy aroma of
pine and fir, trees and the fruity.
Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Tang of mulled.
Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
Wine all of that is, great but scented candles can
be a problem simply because the top there's toxins in those.
Speaker 1 (01:05:29):
Aromas and, oh what are you having AT i have.
ONE i have a couple of set of, candles BUT
i have one that is A christmas, flavor and it's,
LIKE i was, Like, OH i should light, it But i'm,
like or DO i save it for next Year's? Christmas
and NOW i THINK i should just get rid of.
Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
It it says they could pose respiratory health issues depending
on the, source the, link the, intensity and it says
that that some polluteds have no, smell so even unscented
candles can create bad indoor air. Quality and the REASON
i bring this, up and the REASON i thought it
was kind of, interesting, is you Know restaurllands from The
monsters of The morning WHEN i worked there for, many many,
(01:06:07):
years and you, Know i've known us SINCE i WAS
i think eighteen years, old so we were you, KNOW i,
MEAN i was in his family for the longest. Time
and my man likes candles like you likes. Him, Yeah
And i'd go over to his spots AND i mean
there'd be like eight ten of those ding things going
at one.
Speaker 5 (01:06:22):
Time.
Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
Really oh, yeah my man wanted it to feel like
a like A dracula's.
Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
CASTLE i don't have one, candle but.
Speaker 4 (01:06:27):
YEAH i mean he.
Speaker 3 (01:06:28):
Had he'd have a bunch of them going at one,
time and everything was, cool vibe. THOUGH i mean the
house always smelled, great looked good and everything like. That
AND i can't remember the PROFESSIONAL i can't remember how it,
happened BUT i believe either he had AN ac guy
come over to do an upgrade on the system or,
whatever and he's, like my, man my man put the lighter,
down he. Says he, said there was so much soot
(01:06:51):
in this system from the candles burning and THE ac
system pulling the air out of the house and into
the duct work that his duck work had lined with
the soot from the.
Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
Candles, wow and the filters.
Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
In HIS ac it also become becomes stayed with the
soot because you have to change your filters more with that,
stuff Because, wow you don't think it's burning like, that
but it. IS i, mean if you will get some
of those they burn that that that smolder that comes
off the all is relatively.
Speaker 6 (01:07:17):
Thick that's why you gotta trim your wicks before you
burn your. Candles oh, REALLY i didn't know. That oh,
yeah because you know when you after you burn your,
candle you get like, that the wick will get like
a little tarball and whatever at the. Top when you light,
that you'll get a big bang of. Soot but if
you trim your wis down to a quarter of an,
inch it eliminates some of.
Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
It i'll be damn you. Know my we used to
use the wood. WICKS i love. THOSE i don't because they.
Crackle you can't STAND i. Know but it sounds like a. Fighter. Yeah,
well if you're trying to emulate the, fireplace it seems
like perfect for.
Speaker 6 (01:07:47):
That that's why they that's what they sell them. As they're, like,
hey it's a fire without a.
Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
Fireplace but where is the, Danger, like it's is it a?
Dozen is it?
Speaker 3 (01:07:57):
TOO i think it's the cannsistency of doing it a,
lot is what they're. Saying, like if you burn a
candle in your house once a week because you wanted
to smell nice when your in laws come. Over that
ain't gonna kill. You but if you walk in the
house and you like three or four. Candles and by the,
way there are people who do. That, YEAH i know
people who like incense in their house every day when
they come, home like, incense the like in head.
Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
Chops whether it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Be the cone or the. Stick, yeah they burn. It
they would burn it all day, long incense.
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
From the minute they wake up to the minute to
go to. Bed people are still hiding weed. Smoke that's
what it was.
Speaker 24 (01:08:29):
For are you?
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
Serious you had nag?
Speaker 6 (01:08:32):
Champa you knew you you add nag?
Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
Champa are you? SING i never it was a cover
of the smell of. WEED i never even thought of.
Speaker 24 (01:08:40):
That.
Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
Always i'm such a naive old. MAN i never knew.
THAT i thought just people like to smell of. PACHULI
i JUST i just thought people wanted to smell like
they were they didn't have a. Job, yeah but, yeah
that's another one that was always kind of. Sketchy the.
Cones and then now have you ever seen the ones?
Online they it's the it's the powdered version of the,
(01:09:04):
wood whether it be the what's that one, wood cherry? Sandalwood,
okay and they'll they'll take the sandal wood and they'll
put it on like a grating, board and they'll make
a powder and then they put this powder in this
press thing and it's almost like one of Those zen
gardens or or making an, expresso because people are really into, that,
right and they go through the entire process and you
(01:09:25):
and when you push it, down every one of those
little things has a, pattern so it'll make like a
maze or almost like a mosquito coil kind of, thing
but in different, shapes and you just like one end of.
It and the whole incense thing is is it burns
that line of sandalwood of, sandalwood you, know basically crumbs
all the way, down and that is your.
Speaker 6 (01:09:44):
Incense so that's the rich person's version smoke when you're
shaving your own.
Speaker 1 (01:09:50):
Sandalwood all, right four oh seven nine one six one
o four.
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
One you can always text us at seven seven zero three.
One i've got an interesting story to set, up so
we can either talk about this in the five o'clock
hour or. Whatever and it's one of these THINGS i
saw On. Reddit you guys, ever go To. Reddit AM
i the a hole part of?
Speaker 10 (01:10:06):
That?
Speaker 1 (01:10:07):
Yeah, yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:10:08):
Good but this one is really really. Unique i'll tell
you what it is next than.
Speaker 9 (01:10:12):
Lose so putting aside any political affiliation and putting aside
any opinion on if you think this person actually was
or was not trying to run into the ice. Agent
(01:10:33):
my question, is regardless of, circumstances would it be the
appropriate course of action for a law enforcement officer to
shoot someone who is operating a vehicle that they think
they're trying to run into them With because wouldn't that
just increase the likelihood of damage and harm as that
person's then going to lose control of that moving.
Speaker 8 (01:10:52):
Vehicle today is a perfect example of WHY i love
listening to your. Show everyone is just level, headed will
to listen to things might be different than what they.
Speaker 7 (01:11:06):
Think maybe take, it looked at.
Speaker 5 (01:11:09):
It it's just this is WHY i love you guys so.
Speaker 8 (01:11:12):
Much it's such a relief to.
Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
ME I i'm just so thank you appreciate.
Speaker 8 (01:11:17):

Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
Guys thank.
Speaker 3 (01:11:20):
You one of the GUYS i was just telling you
ABOUT i was texting after My january sixth. Comment he,
said read his old quote peace playing. Patriotically just for the,
(01:11:40):
record if you pay attention to what happened On january.
Sixth trump sat in that office for two and a
half hours while that mob went through The capitol and did.
Nothing his, family and by the, way this is on the.
Record his, family including his daughters and his sons and
his lead aides begged, him begged him to go out
and say something to stop, it hours before he finally
made the. Statement and he did the statement. Reluctantly and
(01:12:03):
if you watch other, information if you go and watch
the committee and watch the, stuff you can see that's the.
Truth it's simple to find four seven nine six four
one text seven seven zero three.
Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
One I'm.
Speaker 4 (01:12:17):
Jim there's.
Speaker 9 (01:12:17):
Dead.
Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
Hello jack is here as. Well he is.
Speaker 8 (01:12:23):
All.
Speaker 3 (01:12:23):
Right SO i told you, GUYS i had something From.
Reddit the uh oh, no what'd you? Do oh, no

Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
Down? Why how? Oh what's it?
Speaker 3 (01:12:35):
SALACIOUS i, actually BUT i remember what it. WAS i
believe we're not using your? Memory is this? Sorry this
post has been removed by the moderators of AM i the?
Speaker 4 (01:12:48):
Blank?
Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
Blank?
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
Al, yeah, okay AM i the? Al oh my, god
how AM i going to remember?
Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
This? Well you copy and paste it next. TIME i,
mean who thought it was gonna be taking.
Speaker 3 (01:13:00):
DOWN i, mean what are the chances of that? Happening
so what was the basis of? This oh my, god
this is driving me absolutely. Crazy dog gone. It it
was a wedding situation where the mom wanted to walk
(01:13:20):
the sun down the aisle to the. Bride, usually of,
course the groom waits at the altar and the bride
comes in makes the grand. Entrance everyone stands, up they
start playing the. Song the, dad usually if available and,
willing arm in, arm walks the bride down to the.
(01:13:41):
Groom the preacher then asks who gives this woman to this?
Man and the person doing that usually says it's either
the mother AND i or the, father you, know whomever's doing.
It if they still do, that, right, Yeah but that's
that's the tradition That i've always known as and literally
every Wedding i've been, to regardless of the religion behind,
it has done very. Thing the mom wanted to walk
(01:14:03):
her son down the aisle to meet the wife at the,
altar and the wife said gnaw Dog and it caused
major problems because the mom is like a feminist and
she felt like that would kind of solidify her femininity
when it comes to how she handles situations like.
Speaker 1 (01:14:25):
That and she was recently that's not her. Day, no, yeah,
yeah this is. It, yes the answer is, yes you
are the a. Hall if we're talking about the, mother.
Speaker 6 (01:14:35):
This is this is not your place to make your
statement about your belief. System this is about two people
coming together and creating their own.
Speaker 16 (01:14:42):
Life.
Speaker 1 (01:14:43):
Now and, look here's the.
Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Thing if you talk to the wife about that and
the wife, SAYS i got no problem with, that do.
It but if the wife, says, LOOK i got a
big problem with, That like you, say that's the wife's. Day,
correct let's stay bride's. Day what's the bride's, day, Right
and that's what you. Do and you don't say anything about.
It you don't make a stink about. It it's got
no nothing to do with you as a mother in.
Law you just got to pay attention to what the bride.
(01:15:04):
Wants as long as the bride and the groom have
talked this out and they have figured it, out it
doesn't seem like IF i remember in the context of
the story that the sun really said anything to the
bride about, it that it kind of got sprung on
her at the last.
Speaker 6 (01:15:19):
Moment, oh not a good, idea which was that's like who, yeah,
no definitely not.
Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
Yeah and the comments were. Great there's like five thousand of,
them as you might. Imagine and she said once that
this is not. Feminism this is a toxic boy, mom
plain and. Simple, yeah it, says why wouldn't they walk down?
FIRST i feel like it'd be fine if they walked.
First him coming second is just, weird.
Speaker 5 (01:15:43):
You.
Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
Know and then somebody's, like, no that's, crazy not her.
Speaker 3 (01:15:46):
Wedding she doesn't make the decisions like, That and that's
pretty much what most people.
Speaker 4 (01:15:49):
SAID i just found it. Interesting i've never heard a
situation like.
Speaker 1 (01:15:51):
That, YEAH I i it's so. Bizarre it's, like, no
shut up to.
Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
Down all the wedding stuff that we've talked about over the,
years Though i've never had that scenario come. Up i've
heard everything from you, know they want to dance down the,
hall or do a car wheel down the down the,
aisle or do some kind of weird dance down the,
aisle Or dad's gonna wear something, funny or you.
Speaker 1 (01:16:14):
Need to talk to a wedding planner because they have. Stories,
yeah could you, imagine or wedding photographers or anyone who
deals in the. INDUSTRY i wonder how many wedding planners
would say that one of the parties dipped at the.
Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
Altar do you think it's got to be relatively, rare,
right or somebody just goes. NA i can't do it
on day Of, yeah on day of that that show
that my wife used.
Speaker 1 (01:16:38):
To watch called Ninety dan it's ninety Day.
Speaker 3 (01:16:41):
Bridezilla, no it's something like Pimple.
Speaker 4 (01:16:46):
Popper you watched the best. Stuff why would Pimple popper
be part of a wedding? Show all your favorite. Shows
it was one of those.
Speaker 3 (01:16:56):
Things, oh it's called married blind or something like. That
they don't, Meet, okay they.
Speaker 1 (01:17:02):
Just talk and then they, meet but they have to
agree to get their.
Speaker 4 (01:17:05):
Blind love is.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
Blind that's a good, Job, JACK i would you read your.
Tattoo but that's the whole idea is they don't. Meet
you just learn to like the person from their personality
and what they, like and then you get to see
their physical. Thing and, man a bunch of those go,
sideways as you might. Imagine, yeah because you can fall
in love with somebody and you're, like oh my, GOD
i love you so, much and then that that thing
rolls back and you're, like, hey.
Speaker 4 (01:17:28):
You end up shaking.
Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
Hands how you doing to meet? YOU i want to
get some ice cream or. Something but a couple of
those people have dipped at the. Altar BUT i mean
that's you, know that's a reality show. Thing it doesn't
account you'd expect.
Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
That, yeah all, right four oh seven nine one six four. One,
again you can always text our show at seven seven
zero three. One So instagram's boss said something really. Unique
we've actually talked about this over the last couple of,
weeks and it has to do with the program itself
and the content that's coming. Up And i'll in this
kind of solid defies what we've talked about and what
(01:18:02):
our bosses have talked about as.
Speaker 4 (01:18:03):
Well i'll tell you what that. Is next, thing lose.
Speaker 19 (01:18:05):
S we were talking about burning incense to cover up weed. Smell,
well BEFORE i even smoke, WEED i used to go
to this record store and they had incense there AND
i liked, it SO i bought some AND i burnt
some at, home and then my parents had to have
a talk with, me like are you smoking?
Speaker 7 (01:18:25):
Marijuana so that was pretty.
Speaker 19 (01:18:27):
Funny and then AFTER i did and eventually smoke, Weed
ice switched to using, osium of, course.
Speaker 11 (01:18:31):
Because that's the best thing to. Use, yeah and all,
right thank you there.
Speaker 26 (01:18:35):

yeah he was in like you, know all those clothes
never never made a. Peep my man was. Happy all,
right so. Great the head Of instagram is issuing a
stark warning as he Predicts Mark. Zuckerberg, No Adam museeri
(01:20:52):
is the guy's. Name, okay so you know owns. It
he's the big he's the head. Honcho he would be
the president of Like. INSTAGRAM i Guess i'm you, Know
zuck is meta that owns all of. It but they
all have their own.
Speaker 1 (01:21:03):
HEADS i.
Speaker 3 (01:21:04):
Guess, okay So instagram's, Chief, Yeah Adam mosseeri mss, ER
i has a stark warning as he predicts one major
shift shaping the platform as the world moves into twenty twenty.
Six and it's something that our bosses here At Real
radio And iHeartMedia have been saying now for a few,
months and that is that all of their analytics and
(01:21:27):
data show that people really don't care FOR ai in
their online.
Speaker 6 (01:21:32):
Content now that's where the slop thing came.
Speaker 1 (01:21:34):
From, yeah they don't like it at.
Speaker 3 (01:21:36):
All, Actually and what he says is he says he's
voicing concerns over what he sees as a growing loss
of authenticity online has feeds become increasingly saturated WITH ai generated.
Content he says he warns it The internet is headed
toward a quote world of infinite synthetic content where what
(01:21:57):
once made creators stand out may long may no longer be.
Speaker 4 (01:22:00):
UNIQUE i kind of would disagree with him in one.
Speaker 3 (01:22:03):
Sense people have a funny way of sifting out the
bs in their. Life and what will happen is, this
when content creators start USING, ai they will lose, followers
and those content creators will realize at that point can't USE,
ai and then they will get. Followed then they'll create
genuine content that has NO ai input and it will
(01:22:26):
be like it. Is so, yeah content creators may do,
that but you also have other types of content creators
where they USE ai just to generate more videos and
they just flood the market because you, know if they
may not get the same, reach but if they put
out so much, content they are going to attain a
(01:22:48):
certain amount of views and some ad revenue where it's
going to be worthwhile to you, know program computers to do.
This we there are so many videos on YouTube that
are just poorly, edited JUST ai, stuff you, know and
it's on the, topic it's on the, theme but you
can tell with that that voice and they try to
(01:23:10):
make it first, person and.
Speaker 4 (01:23:12):
You know they're lying to.
Speaker 5 (01:23:13):
You.
Speaker 1 (01:23:14):
Yeah, yeah but let me tell you SOMETHING i find.
Speaker 3 (01:23:15):
Interesting by the, WAY I i kind of, agree BUT
i do believe that the thing is is like as a.
Speaker 1 (01:23:22):
Like you can see how inauthentic that is. Immediately and
by the, way the videos and stuff THAT i like
watching are also poorly. Edited they're also shabbily put, together
but they're done by, humans and that's part of its.
Uniqueness that's part of its draw is the fact that
this person isn't a professional WITH ai that they're doing
the best they, can and that's what makes it so.
Authentic that's what adds that special kind of nuance to,
(01:23:44):
it is you know it's being created by that person
and not using a tool to create something to look,
prettier look shiny or.
Speaker 3 (01:23:52):
Whatever but you know you can pick those things out.
Immediately and WHEN i see it on my, FEED i
roll right through. IT i don't care what the content.
IS i go right through. IT i got no in
seeing it. None it's not entertaining to me at.
Speaker 6 (01:24:02):
All, NO i, mean and there's so many of the
animal videos and, everything you're, like uh, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
It says the key Risk instagram place, yeah it.
Speaker 3 (01:24:10):
Says the key Risk instagram faces is the world changes
more quickly the platform fails to keep, up it. Says
looking forward to twenty twenty, six one major shift is
authenticity is becoming infinitely. Reproducible everything that made creators, matter
the ability to be, real to, connect to have a
voice that couldn't be, faked is now accessible to anyone
with the right. Tools BUT i kind of disagree with
(01:24:33):
that as, well BECAUSE i believe the human eye and
human nature as a, rule most people can pick up
when something.
Speaker 1 (01:24:38):
Is bs uh, yeah you know. WHAT i.
Speaker 4 (01:24:41):
Think maybe now you.
Speaker 1 (01:24:43):
Can see it in some of the videos and memes
and things you see. Online BUT i think it's only
getting better every day where it's going to be, SEAMLESS i.
Speaker 6 (01:24:56):
Mean oh, yeah where you really can't.
Speaker 1 (01:24:57):
Tell deb has AN ai video behind your every, day you,
know since we've been doing on this, show and it.
Speaker 3 (01:25:03):
Looks real it WHEN i glance over. THERE i, mean
if you didn't know the real.
Speaker 6 (01:25:08):
Mean i'm broadcasting live from this, shore.
Speaker 3 (01:25:11):
And the scary part of that image that's Behind deb
right now is the realest part of that is the.
Ocean the part that should be the hardest thing to
replicate it, Nailed, like if that was just the, OCEAN
i would think that's a live.
Speaker 6 (01:25:23):
Shot and the fire. Too the fire is pretty, SORRY i,
mean but you can tell me shy.
Speaker 1 (01:25:27):
Floor.
Speaker 3 (01:25:28):
Yeah this is according to industry research from social media
AGENCY amra AND. Elma what percentage of images on social
media platforms are now us created USING ai?
Speaker 4 (01:25:38):
Tech?
Speaker 1 (01:25:38):
Wow what? Percentage what do you? Think?
Speaker 6 (01:25:40):
Guys i'm gonna go seventy. SEVEN i can't think it's that.
HIGH i think it's.
Speaker 4 (01:25:45):
Higher, oh it must be away his eyebrows and.
Speaker 6 (01:25:48):
It's going up like eighty seven ninety.
Speaker 3 (01:25:52):
Deb wind seventy one? Percent oh, really one out of
seven images that you encounter online are created by a.
Speaker 7 (01:26:02):
It.
Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
Says his comments quickly sparked debate with the head Of
instagram says some stuff like, this people are, like, well
what DO i?
Speaker 4 (01:26:08):
Say you gotta pay attention a little bit to. That
Guy texter.
Speaker 1 (01:26:11):
Says the most popular video on YouTube last month was
OBVIOUSLY ai. Slop most of the popular videos the last
few months across every platform have BEEN. Ai people may
say they don't like, it but they still. Watch, Yeah
AND i think a lot of people don't. Realize, yeah
they just.
Speaker 4 (01:26:28):
Watch they just watch. It they don't.
Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
Care do you think most people give a damn if
it's A i created or. Not some. Do my daughter
that when she sat down AND i had a video,
Up she's, like, oh this IS ai and she just
left the. Room oh, yeah that's What i'm. Saying it's,
like no interest in WATCHING ai. Generated and that's that's
The wheelhouse. Audience like that is The wheelhouse. Audience and
by the, way for the, RECORD i believe it's more
(01:26:51):
of that age group that's saying this than our age. Group, Correct.
Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
And that's exactly what our company has been saying now
for about five, months that it's the younger people who
are kind of kind of staging this revolution of going
now we don't really care for that so. Much and
even here in our inner circle stuff in the. Building you,
know one of our big mantras moving on from twenty
twenty five, was you, know be, authentic be. Genuine don't
USE ai to create your content for the, air because
(01:27:19):
people want stuff from. You they do not want it
from a. Prompt they don't want you to use a
machine to provide.
Speaker 1 (01:27:25):
It BUT i bought the service for a year and
we only made one song about deb in their.
Speaker 4 (01:27:30):
Boobs, yeah so.
Speaker 1 (01:27:31):
Good we still can't play. It we, can we just
have to flag.
Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
It somebody sit, Here this is respectfully ALL ai is.
Slop we don't want it. Now here's the, thing, though
small business owners and marketers chime in and they, go
maybe pump your brakes a little, bit because for us
this stuff works. Great but that's not meant to make
a connection like a video from a content provider trying
to build an. Audience what you're trying to do with
(01:27:57):
like a spot or an ad is create.
Speaker 4 (01:28:00):
ENGAGEMENT i guess it's kind of the same thing, there wasn't.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
IT i think it.
Speaker 3 (01:28:03):
Is, YEAH i, mean you're not asking for a purchase
When i'm just asking to watch my video for. Entertainment,
No but when you are creating, content you are a
soul content, creator you.
Speaker 1 (01:28:14):
Have limits to what you're able to. PRODUCE ai actually
opens up the playing field where there's more that you
can create visually in a. Video AND i remember WHEN
i saw A Jurassic park in the movie, theater which
was you, know with all THE cgi in, it AND
(01:28:35):
i just, thought, well there's nothing you cannot do in.
Movies now if the magic is gone right, right not
even that it's a different, world because anything you can,
imagine you can now create and make it look real
if you just can ask the question.
Speaker 4 (01:28:53):
Properly and that was over thirty years ago when that movie.
Speaker 1 (01:28:56):
Came Out, Crazy it says, here the real issue is
that you took the social out of social. Media it
used to be.
Speaker 3 (01:29:03):
Fun even the most mature people were on, there, laughing
using funny face filters and not taking themselves so. Seriously
it was a place to be free from the weight
of the, world a little, escape they. Say now it
feels like. Work, yeah and it. Doesn't that go back
to that old, adage be careful about turning your hobbies
into you, know money, makers because the last thing you
(01:29:24):
wanted to be is a. Job and that's exactly what
happened with me With Primetime kitchen and we started doing
that cooking.
Speaker 4 (01:29:29):
Show it was really.
Speaker 3 (01:29:30):
POPULAR i mean we'd Have tuesday nights where there'd be, three,
four five hundred people tuned in to watch, us you,
know cook pork. Chops but it got to the point
where it would Be, tuesday it'd be time to do.
It i'd be, Like i'm not in the mood to
cook but there's no not in the mood to. Cook you,
know you have to be there on time when you
say they're going to be there and deal with. It
and you've turned your hobby into a. Job and then
(01:29:51):
it got to the point where, like, GOD i don't
want to cook now because NOW i have to AND
i don't want.
Speaker 6 (01:29:55):
To that's what happens with a lot of people who
end up turning their hobb he's into it into.
Speaker 1 (01:30:01):
Work that. Sucks and again when you when you're trying
to keep up with content creation, online like that is a,
job it's just so.
Speaker 3 (01:30:08):
OVERWHELMING i, mean that's why you have to really create
a good audience up. Front just realize those people are
going to come back and then share your, content maybe
build a bigger audience that, Way and you can't make
a mistake because people will be, Like i'm. Gone because
the audience is so, fickle they'll haul ass if you
do something wrong or say something they don't.
Speaker 4 (01:30:25):
LIKE i mean we've experienced that.
Speaker 3 (01:30:27):
Here you, know all, Right no it's not you know
four oh seven nine six four one struggle you can text.
US i don't know if it's so much seven.
Speaker 4 (01:30:40):
Seven zero three.
Speaker 3 (01:30:42):
One let's talk about THAT cees TECHNOLOGY i was telling
you guys about a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:30:46):
Earlier we'll do that.
Speaker 28 (01:30:47):
NEXT a ton of money still to.
Speaker 2 (01:31:04):
Come we find out what's in the good sauce With
Ross paget today at six On The Jim Colbert.
Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
Show, Hey Colbert.
Speaker 12 (01:31:11):
Show Flagler beach is my. Hometown the current pier is
only half of its original. Length i'm in the early
mid to late. Eighties we had a winter storm that
came in and nearly cut it in. Half so the
link that it's been for the past twenty five years
is not what it would originally have. Been it used
to go all the way to the third. SANDBAR i
(01:31:32):
don't know if they're building the new one that, long
BUT i hope. So so, anyway.
Speaker 4 (01:31:37):
Thanks, buddy appreciate that heads. UP i grew up in that.
Area it'spent a lot of time In.
Speaker 3 (01:31:41):
St augustine as a, kid So i'm a little familiar
with The Flaggler. Pierre aren't many of them up that.
Way welcome back to The Jim Colbert. Show we're already
at one to four point.
Speaker 1 (01:31:50):
One I'm.
Speaker 4 (01:31:50):
Jim there's Deb head Loud jack is with us as.
Speaker 3 (01:31:52):
Well, Yep ross will be joining us at six o'clock
today for good. Sauce we'll find out what's happening on
the show coming up tonight.
Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
O'clock you can hear it right here On Real.
Speaker 4 (01:32:01):
Radio All.
Speaker 3 (01:32:03):
Right THE cees is In vegas right. Now that's The
Consumer Electronics. Show it's a big deal every, year you,
know people kind of wait to see what's going to
get unveiled up, there what new gadget is going to
be the newest one of the. Year and we've seen
some cool stuff come. THERE i, think like a lot
of The apple. Stuff well they do their own, releases
but a lot of the stuff for them just to you,
(01:32:24):
know whether it be the. Robotics, yeah you say you
got a robot this?
Speaker 1 (01:32:27):
WEEKEND i got a robot At?
Speaker 4 (01:32:29):
Christmas did you? Really we have a robot in our?
Speaker 1 (01:32:31):
Home what is? It it doesn't clean, carpets so it's
not a, roomba it's.
Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
Not a roombo?
Speaker 1 (01:32:39):
Oh is it the litter? Thing got the litter? Robot?
Speaker 4 (01:32:43):
Four did you? Really how is that pretty? Wild is it?
Speaker 1 (01:32:47):
Really that's the drum That did the cats use?
Speaker 17 (01:32:50):
It?
Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Yep it took a few days for them to kind
of get cool with, it BUT i have an. App
it tells me when they go. In it weighs the,
cats SO i know which cats you. It oh, wow,
okay so hit.
Speaker 9 (01:33:02):
Me with this.
Speaker 1 (01:33:02):
Again what's the?
Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Deal, so, OKAY i don't understand how you Said i've
got a rolling.
Speaker 1 (01:33:07):
Drum it's so the cat got. It we got pop.
Speaker 5 (01:33:09):
Ups.
Speaker 3 (01:33:10):
Attention, NOW i don't have any idea what you're talking,
about like litter boxes or Bob cats go, there dump
it and then.
Speaker 6 (01:33:15):
No this thing scoops it for. You it's kind of
like a diaper. Genie so the cat will go in
use the litter.
Speaker 1 (01:33:21):
Box, yeah and then when it comes. Out so there's
two sensor there's sensors at the top and sens. Its,
okay cat went. In when the cat comes, out then
you can set the amount of. TIME i THINK i
have it said for seven minutes or seven minutes. Later
then it'll do a cleaning cycle where it. Rotates, okay
so it tumbles the dodo in the stuff so it
(01:33:42):
gets more on. It, no, no it the cats typically do.
That they cover. It they cover it up, Right so it.
Rotates so the loose litter goes into a grate and
it kind of gets caught in a storage bin where
it rolls up and the clumping of either the clumping
(01:34:02):
urine or the poop can is too big to go in,
that so it rolls until it rolls all the way
up and there's an opening in the. Bottom it drops
it into a bin that has a bagline or in.
Speaker 4 (01:34:14):
It i'll be.
Speaker 1 (01:34:14):
Damn and then you, know you can check the app
when it's. Full you just take out the, drawer you
tie it, up and then you take it.
Speaker 4 (01:34:21):
Out, wow really is it sealed up so it doesn't?
Speaker 3 (01:34:23):
Smell because don't those little box little box is kind
of smell a little bit if you, DON'T i, mean.
Speaker 1 (01:34:27):
If they, can they do make like a carbon filter
and air filter for. That but it has been better
than you, know the previous. Thing but with three, cats
we i mean we have four litter boxes just in different. Places, really,
yeah by, four if you only have three, cats you
suppose they should always have an. Option well one because
(01:34:47):
at night time we kind of keep one separated from the,
other so we want to make sure.
Speaker 4 (01:34:51):
That you, know he has a place to.
Speaker 1 (01:34:53):
Go but we also got a cabinet that and this
was Another christmas, gift and it's a cabinet And it's
got like a little door on one, side so it's
a cabinet you open, up but there's a litter box,
inside so the cats actually go in the. Side but
it's a piece of, furniture but the litter box is.
Inside damn that people already texting. In that thing is not, cheap, Right,
(01:35:13):
oh seven seven hundred, Dollars, YEAH i would.
Speaker 4 (01:35:18):
HAVE i would have never ever purchased this for.
Speaker 1 (01:35:23):
Myself.
Speaker 4 (01:35:24):
Wow And i'm the. One i'm the one who cleans
all the litter.
Speaker 1 (01:35:26):
Boxes.
Speaker 3 (01:35:27):
Oh so that's why it's considered your, gift because that's
kind of a house, gift isn't.
Speaker 4 (01:35:31):
It it was a gift to me and my wife
from our oldest.
Speaker 3 (01:35:34):
Daughter oh wow That god Damn, yeah she's good singing.
Speaker 1 (01:35:40):
Out of that. CREATURE i guess she.
Speaker 4 (01:35:41):
Is god bless. Her now where to spend that?
Speaker 3 (01:35:43):
MONEY i go, Though, yeah, yes, Yeah so THE cs
is out, there stuff like the cat robot. Thing people
are texting in saying they love. It and somebody said
that for seven hundred, BUCKS i think better do more
than just cover up poop and pee coffee or something like.
That but so THIS ces technology is specifically focused for
your v, vehicle and there's a guy named Three. Submraneum
(01:36:08):
let me try this. Again subramanian is the guy's. Name
he's In video's global head Of GENERATIVE ai for.
Speaker 1 (01:36:15):
Automotive all, Right.
Speaker 3 (01:36:17):
So what it says here is think of your car
as having a soul and being an extension of your.
Family because what they're trying to do is they're trying
to create a space in your vehicle that is mimicking
your daily. Life like if you go into your, house
you go to your kitchen and you, sound if you
hit the living, room turn on THE, tv kick. Back
(01:36:37):
they're trying to create that WITH. Ai so it says
across the show, floor the car emerged less as a
machine and more as a companion for your, family tracking
heart rates and, emotions alert alerting if a baby or
young child is accidentally left in the, car and it
can adapt to drivers and passengers in real. Time it
(01:36:59):
can act actually tell if you are on your.
Speaker 4 (01:37:02):
Phone it can do all of these.
Speaker 3 (01:37:06):
Things it, says the magic OF ai should not just
mean but what do you think the big problem? Is,
well why do you think people are a little concerned about?
This they don't want people knowing that they're on their.
Phone it's feeding and all the things they. Do it's
the information you have to give up to be part
of this world because all of this information is like
cloud based and stuff. In the actual car takes in
(01:37:28):
all of this data that you give, it and it
keeps it there and it can be downloaded by the,
company it. Says unlike smartphone phones or online, platforms cars
have only recently become major repositories of personal. Data as a,
result the industry is still trying to establish the quote
rules of the road for what automakers and tech companies
are allowed to do with driver.
Speaker 6 (01:37:48):
Data, sure we're going to trust those rules about what
they can do with driver.
Speaker 3 (01:37:53):
Data, yeah BUT i gotta tell, you, man what this
thing does is kind of crazy. THOUGH i, mean THE
ai in side the vehicle is, bananas like it could
Really here's the. Thing as an, ADULT i can understand
where you're coming, From, Deborah, LIKE i don't need people
telling Me i'm fifty. EIGHT i don't need people to
tell me WHERE i, am What i'm, doing how Fast i'm.
Going but if you have a sixteen or seventeen year
old and they're using your, vehicle and your vehicle has
(01:38:14):
THIS ai in, it and you could tell THE ai
to you can just got to log into the app and,
go you, know limit the speed to, seventy limit the
stereo to twenty. Five you, know don't allow more than
two people in the. Car register who it, is tell
me who it is when they get, in tell me
when they get to this their. DESTINATION i, mean as a,
parent you could see where this would be unbelievable breakthrough
(01:38:38):
for people who, can't, like, well your phones have tracking,
now but that only time tells you where you. Are
it doesn't tell the whole story of what you're, doing
who you who you're. With then this thing can actually
kind of do a little of.
Speaker 1 (01:38:47):
That you're saying this like it's a good.
Speaker 3 (01:38:50):
Thing, Well i'm not saying it's a bad. THING i
think everything kind of has its.
Speaker 1 (01:38:54):
Place and, again as an, adult you know you don't
know it, Says oh how about?
Speaker 4 (01:38:58):
This who do you want to? Track don't ask?
Speaker 1 (01:39:02):
Questions? CHECK i think maybe we do it says on
THE cees.
Speaker 3 (01:39:07):
Floor some of those conveniences were on display at An
Automotive Generator Gin texas, booth where attendees seat and a
mock six seater van in front of a large screen
to demonstrate how closely the COMPANY'S ai equipped sensors and
cameras could monitor a driver and a. Passenger are they?
Sleepy are they? Drowsy are they not seated? Properly are they?
Eating talking on? Phones are they? Angry you name. It
(01:39:31):
they can figure out how to detect that in the.
Cabin does their auto insurance company get this?
Speaker 6 (01:39:35):
Information that's exactly WHAT i was going to, Say that's
exactly and somebody texted that set seven seven zero three.
One the car tech will undoubtedly be used by insurance
companies to PUNISH us and government agencies to charge us
for any.
Speaker 1 (01:39:48):
Transgression, yeah they already do. It it's just, voluntary you know.
What you're one hundred percent, right.
Speaker 3 (01:39:53):
Though could you imagine if this thing was telling my insurance,
Company i'm eating While i'm, driving by the, way.
Speaker 6 (01:39:58):
Or not sitting, correctly or you'rerousie or your HEART i, mean,
god think of the implications it.
Speaker 3 (01:40:03):
Does eating while you're driving does not get enough credit
for being as dangerous as being on your phone, sometimes all,
right because it is AND i do it a.
Speaker 4 (01:40:11):
Lot, YEAH i.
Speaker 3 (01:40:12):
Eat WHILE i drive a, lot and it is it
is really, Dangerous Like some of the most gnarly Situations
i've almost been in my life is BECAUSE i was
munching on a burger while trying to trying to navigate
DOWN i four to eighty or, so and this thing
would tell Your injuris, Company, oh by the, way my
man's your man's eating chicken wings while he's right down the.
Speaker 1 (01:40:32):
Road it's another layer of. Information but we are already
down that road with. It so For State farm they
have the drive safe and say that it's a little
device you put in. It the other companies PROGRESSIVE i
THINK hasm where you just you plug in this. Device
some just do it with your. Phone now where there's

i say.
Speaker 7 (02:01:31):
This i'm, OKAY i am mentally. Healthy. Okay do you
guys stand or sit in the?
Speaker 1 (02:01:40):
Showers why do you what do you mean stand or
sit in the? Shower you stand in the. Shower, yeah
but a lot of showers have bed seats or a,
seat do?
Speaker 6 (02:01:53):
They, yeah you guys are forgetting who we're talking to.
Speaker 1 (02:01:56):
Me i've not had a shower in my life that
had a sitting. Area with all the houses you've lived,
in not, Once that's WHY i said, It and all
the bathrooms in those, houses in Bathrooms i've actually, built
not one had a seat or a.
Speaker 4 (02:02:12):
Bench i've got two showers with seats in them right.
Now are you? Serious one to flipped that?
Speaker 1 (02:02:19):
One and one was built into it when we built
it in the mother in law suite for my.
Speaker 4 (02:02:24):
Mom i'll be Damn.
Speaker 7 (02:02:25):
Yeah this guy's over, here got a love seat over, here.
Speaker 1 (02:02:31):
The circular. Couch that's.
Speaker 4 (02:02:33):
Great, NO i hang out and it's even.
Speaker 7 (02:02:35):
Worse, Guys i'm not even.
Speaker 5 (02:02:37):
Talking chair, Honestly, JACK i am very surprised you have
multiple chairs in multiple, showers and is also kind of.
Odd but the majority of people stand in their. SHOWER
i get, That BUT i sit every. Shower ninety of
the showers THAT i. Take there is a good moment
(02:02:59):
WHERE i, sit AND i need to grab and manipulate
your platform to let all of your shower stitters know
that they are not.
Speaker 4 (02:03:08):
Alone wait where are you sitting?
Speaker 7 (02:03:11):
Though right there on the bare, Floor, jack do.
Speaker 4 (02:03:15):
You know you're sitting on the tub in the.
Speaker 7 (02:03:17):
Tub sometimes it's a, tub sometimes it's. Not sometimes my
shower goes both, ways sometimes it.
Speaker 1 (02:03:23):
Doesn't you're sitting on the floor of your. Shower.
Speaker 5 (02:03:27):
Yeah it really looks like a sad music, video but
it's super not. A that's WHY i SAID i preface
this by SAYING i am mentally. HEALTHY i am, Okay
i'm not going through, anything but people need to try
it out at least before they judge.
Speaker 7 (02:03:44):
It.
Speaker 1 (02:03:45):
Well, look look here's the.
Speaker 3 (02:03:46):
Thing let me say. THIS i have sat in my
shower before BECAUSE i take LIKE i like to. Steam,
occasionally you do that where you point the shower head
against the, wall turn the hot water all the way,
up and you sit there and let the things steam.
Up that's, great but that's that's once in a blue moon.
Speaker 5 (02:04:01):
Scenario every, SHOWER i get my sad boy on or
at the very, least it looks Like i'm going through.
Speaker 7 (02:04:08):
Something BUT i promise, you.
Speaker 31 (02:04:11):
DUDE i was blown away WHEN i was talking to

brother looks at me and, goes, DUDE i sit down every.
Shower every only PERSON i know other than me is my.
Speaker 3 (02:04:32):
Brother every single time you take a, shower you have a,
seat and it's, genetic it's.
Speaker 7 (02:04:39):
Hereditary my dad was a.
Speaker 3 (02:04:40):
Freak you, know you know that's bad for, you right
like you know because you know where most of the
staph infection makes it into your. Home it's on the
bottom of your. Feet and then you stand in that
shower and now you're sitting on That you're putting your
bare ass on that staph and texture.
Speaker 1 (02:04:57):
Floor every text is, saying how gross this. Is you
got YOUR bh kissing that?
Speaker 3 (02:05:01):

Speaker 4 (02:05:20):
Dub it's just, no it ain't.
Speaker 7 (02:05:23):
Smuntion it's not a first. Date it's just like a if.
ANYTHING i don't.
Speaker 3 (02:05:30):
KNOW i don't know if you can send in a
shower naked without YOUR bh e in.
Speaker 5 (02:05:34):
Contact just real, fast let me talk to the people
who sit down in the shower and just let them. Know,
yeah it looks way worse than what it. Is and
people may, judge but they don't get how how can
a shower get even more.
Speaker 7 (02:05:46):
RELAXING i don't, know how about let.
Speaker 5 (02:05:48):
Me take out the minimum effort that it takes to
take a shower and make that go down to. Zero
uh oh, yeah SOMETIMES i might go all the way
and go fetal.
Speaker 7 (02:05:57):
Position BUT i don't need your, judgment YOUR.
Speaker 3 (02:05:58):
Gm just give and Said, ROSS i sit in the
shower almost every day and just let the water hit.
Speaker 4 (02:06:03):
Me we're not.
Speaker 1 (02:06:03):
Crazy hell SOMETIMES i just sit there for like an
hour on my.
Speaker 6 (02:06:07):

one of the COOLEST nfl. Moments AND i was watching
that with my family AND i was, like how cool
is that that that team embraces that dude so much
because after this kick they do have like a little
they got a little.
Speaker 1 (02:07:45):

right now on the YouTube, stream the sign that he's
holding where THIS nfl historic kick is actually all of
his cards that he's trying to get signed from the.
Players if you want more behind the scene information of
this really cool sports moment over the last. WEEKEND i Can't,
(02:08:16):

part of. This he bought a cam little jersey just
for the match For i'm such a soccer, fan just
for the game it. Was it was really really cool
to talk To joel about. It and you can really

thinks That Jacksonville jaguars are gonna beat. Him every single
one That i've seen has The jags beating The.
Speaker 5 (02:09:32):

Odds it's it's a smidge the. Bills it's a coin.
Speaker 1 (02:09:40):
Flip.
Speaker 7 (02:09:40):

LOOK i could Say Lamar, jackson but you have to
have another. TEAM i, mean you, know he's one of the,
best most athletic players in the game and he can't.
Win so you're gonna have more than Just Josh. Allen
and those guys have way more Than Josh allen and
their defense is.
Speaker 4 (02:10:07):

war my. Beach check me. Out great show.
Speaker 4 (02:12:49):
Man Thanks, Paul, Hey Colbert.
Speaker 33 (02:12:54):
Crew i'm sorry if this has been mentioned. ALREADY i
have a little bit of catching up still to do
on the, podcast BUT i was curious what y'all's thoughts
were on the results of that bear hunt that just.
Happened it seems to me like the people who were
trying to buy up the passes to avoid bears being
(02:13:15):
hunted were pretty. Successful the numbers were lower THAN i.
Speaker 4 (02:13:18):
Expected, WELL i mean a lot of them, sold that, Right.
Speaker 1 (02:13:26):
So, yeah so that's what her point, was that people
who wanted to buy them, up.
Speaker 4 (02:13:33):
You, know so they wouldn't be.
Speaker 1 (02:13:34):
Hunted but that didn't make up for the total lack of,
bears BECAUSE i think it was like one hundred and fifty.
Speaker 6 (02:13:42):
One hundred and seventy two PERMITS i believe were granted
and fifty two bears were.
Speaker 1 (02:13:46):
Harvested, right and so not that many were, sold at
least that's what we know. PUBLICLY i think also it
just might have been some people just didn't find ANY, yea, YEAH.
Speaker 3 (02:13:58):
I mean that's not that many think it more than
over one hundred last, time OR i was gonna SAY
i thought it was over two, hundred BUT i couldn't remember.
Speaker 6 (02:14:05):
Exactly, yes three hundred after two.
Speaker 3 (02:14:07):
Days and THEN i know a number of the, people you,
know obviously who got the. Badges you, know there was
a it was it a group that said they would
buy them for two thousand, dollars AND i know a
number of people opted to take the two k instead of,
shot you, know shooting the. Bear what that guy said
About cuba could be. True i'm gonna be honest with.
You have you read about how Bad cuba is right?
Now read a piece today pretty Extensive peace in The.
(02:14:31):
ATLANTIC i BELIEVE i can't remember a hundred on. That
But Cuba's cuba's economy is as bad as it's ever.
Been a matter of, fact they people from the island
are a liking that to a period of time in the.
EIGHTIES i guess that there's A they actually have a
term for that period of.
Speaker 4 (02:14:51):
Time they call it the.
Speaker 3 (02:14:53):
SOMETHING i can't remember what it, is but they're a
li likening this time to that, time the ration of
food they get from the. Government there's a three week
wait to get gas if you can afford. It and
they say people there who are even doctors have a
hard time finding affordable. Food there's no medication on the.
Island it's hard to find medicine if you don't know
(02:15:13):
anybody that doesn't live there that can't ship it to.
You almost impossible to get because of the the fuel.
Shortages there's no trash being picked. Up so some of
the PHOTOGRAPHS i saw just the. STREETS i, mean we're
not talking about side, streets you, know the main streets
littered with bags of trash that are now causing insect
inventations and rat infantation or. Infestations it's pretty bad down
(02:15:37):
there right. Now all their infrastructures completely falling. Apart it's
nothing to have ten to fifteen hours.
Speaker 4 (02:15:44):
A day with no.
Speaker 3 (02:15:44):
Electricity it's bad. News, yeah, yeah it's bad. News you
feel bad for those, People.
Speaker 1 (02:15:54):
Oh without a. Doubt, yeah, absolutely four.
Speaker 3 (02:15:57):
Oh seven nine one six four. One again you can
always text us at seven seven zero three. One our
question of the day Is, jack how did you phrase, it?
Buddy BECAUSE i got the story right.
Speaker 1 (02:16:04):
Here so in our YouTube chat is what do you
think is too many drinks in a? Week choices were
one to, two three to, five six to nine or. More.
Speaker 3 (02:16:15):
Right and the REASON i bring this up is BECAUSE
i don't know if you saw this, today, dever BUT
i guess The trump, administration and that would BE. Rfk
he's the head of is It health In Human? Services
or is THAT? Oz, no he's ahhs. Okay they they
change the alcohol intake information so that they considered one
(02:16:37):
to two drinks a week or is it one drink
a day would be, normal to drinks a day would
be too much or something like. That it's different for
men and.
Speaker 6 (02:16:44):
Women WHAT i saw is that basically just to avoid
alcohol for better.
Speaker 3 (02:16:49):
Health right and, now instead of giving you a, number
what it says is just drink less for better. Health
it doesn't give a, number it doesn't give a specific,
thing And i'm wondering that's what we. Have this is
a question of the. Day and if you want to
be involved with, that it's. Easy just go to our
YouTube channel which is real ready OF fm slash, watch
and it's right there in the. Comments you can check it.
Out you could vote as well And it's just exactly
(02:17:11):
What jack. Said you, know what do you drink a?
Week and how that how that adds up to what
The trump administration believes is good or?
Speaker 1 (02:17:18):
Bad let's.
Speaker 6 (02:17:19):
See not.
Speaker 1 (02:17:20):
Enough you don't drink that much, anymore do? You?
Speaker 3 (02:17:24):
No, yeah BECAUSE i mean when we first started doing the,
show you would go home and you have have a
cocktail or. Something but you, know we've we've spoken and
you you kind of did you stop doing?
Speaker 33 (02:17:33):
That?
Speaker 6 (02:17:33):
NO i still have like, yeah one a, week two a,
week one after, work one after.
Speaker 1 (02:17:38):
Work, Yeah, jack you still have your bourbon a couple
of times a. Week.
Speaker 8 (02:17:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:17:41):
Yeah did you have the BOURBON i gave you?
Speaker 8 (02:17:43):
Yet?
Speaker 4 (02:17:44):
Yeah it's, good it's.
Speaker 1 (02:17:44):
Good it Is i've never had.
Speaker 24 (02:17:46):
It.
Speaker 4 (02:17:46):
YEAH i just read about it and said it Was
they said it was a great.
Speaker 6 (02:17:48):
Bottle now did you have it the Way jimmy? RECOMMENDED?
Speaker 1 (02:17:51):
I did you drink?
Speaker 26 (02:17:52):
It?
Speaker 1 (02:17:52):
NEAT i. Did how'd you enjoy?
Speaker 14 (02:17:53):
It?
Speaker 4 (02:17:54):
Well meat with an ice?
Speaker 1 (02:17:55):
Cube? Yeah that's?
Speaker 4 (02:17:55):
Fine, yeah and actually you want a little bit of
water in your? Whiskey?
Speaker 3 (02:17:58):
Yeah matter of, FACT i made A i made an
old fashion this past weekend with a with a barrel proof.
Whiskey so it was a little, strong and and put
probably two tablespoons of water in, there and somebody looked
at me LIKE i was blanking. Crazy, Really i'm, like,
look this is recommended by the people who make this.
Stuff this is what you're supposed to. DO a couple
drops of water and your bourbon makes it. Better, yeah,
no it's very.
Speaker 1 (02:18:16):
Good SO i, LIKE i have a lot OF i
THINK i MENTIONED i have a lot of bottles with
a little in it BECAUSE i don't want to finish
that bottle because you, know whatever it, is SO i
have it, right you. Know and then Then i'm, like,
oh let me just buy the cheap stuff to make
my Don't why do you do.
Speaker 4 (02:18:34):
You only live?
Speaker 1 (02:18:34):
Once, listen do you have a seven hundred dollars cat
litar thing you can? Afford very? Good, point you. Can
by the, way CAN i tell you.
Speaker 3 (02:18:41):
Something the great thing about bourbon that Isn't scotch is
the fact that you can still get a really really
good bottle of bourbon for under seventy. Bucks there's no
reason you should be drinking trash. Bourbon i'm not drinking
trash like so here's a. Swell speaking Of Jim, beam
it's not.
Speaker 4 (02:18:56):
Terrible there's some good gym.
Speaker 1 (02:18:57):
Memes they are not making it in twenty Six they're
not producing any new.
Speaker 4 (02:19:03):
Because they can't sell To.
Speaker 1 (02:19:04):
CANADA i don't know if that's the, reason BUT i
think they have enough stock where they're like they see
the downturn and with all the specialty bourbons and all
the spirit markets, flooded they are not selling what they
used to and so they they're not producing any anything.
Speaker 3 (02:19:22):
New these little niche distilleries are going to go through
the same thing that craft breweries went through or going
through now when we knew that there's too many craft.
BREWERIES i, MEAN i don't care how big your city,
is your city shouldn't have twenty five craft. Breweries there
simply aren't enough people who like it to keep you.
Alive because CAN i tell you will drink craft. BREWS
i don't love craft brew BUT i also Love, modello
(02:19:44):
so forever for every one or TWO i, Pas i'll,
Have i'll have like Six. Medellos AND i Love kraft.
Beer but the problem is there aren't enough people to really.
SUPPORT i think the same thing happens with the. Bourbon
so for my staple bourbon for old fashions Is Makers. Mark,
yeah it's a good. Whiskey i've got a bottle Of makers.
Now it's a great bottle of.
Speaker 1 (02:20:03):
Waste that's WHAT i use for my old. Fashion. Yeah,
yeah and then WHEN i use the other the more expensive,
ONES i in an old, fashion there's not that much
of a. Difference that's Why i'm saving those for WHEN
i drink it neat.
Speaker 4 (02:20:18):
Or, yeah they're.
Speaker 3 (02:20:19):
LIKE i like Angels envy for my old and the
reason why it's because it has a real caramel kind of,
thing AND i think that really goes well with the
flavor of the orange and the. Cherry so that's WHY
i like Angels. ENVY i don't like lighter Like Buffalo
trace is a good, whiskey but it's for.
Speaker 1 (02:20:35):
Me it's too thin to make old.
Speaker 3 (02:20:37):
Fashions out of because it doesn't have, body and that
Angels nby has like.
Speaker 1 (02:20:41):
Body it's a it's almost like. Oily you. Know they
clean the studios over the break and all the stuff
got piled outside and there's a bottle of Angels envy
and there's like half a shot in, it so it's
not enough to.
Speaker 4 (02:20:52):
Steal, YEAH i.
Speaker 1 (02:20:54):
Sell it the other.
Speaker 4 (02:20:54):
Day i've got a bottle of that. Too it's damn.
Speaker 6 (02:20:57):
Good.
Speaker 3 (02:20:57):
Yeah and that bottle Of makers That corona mixed, UP
i TELL i say it all the. Time AND i
don't know if they have any of that vent THAT
i had, before But god a mighty. MAN I i,
MEAN i got a drink of that whiskey AND i was,
Like i'm GONNA i put that in the back of
the in the back of the.
Speaker 4 (02:21:12):
CABINET i was, like that's a special.
Speaker 3 (02:21:13):
Thing and even though it's Just, makers it, Was, man
he blended up something really, nice so.
Speaker 6 (02:21:17):
Good can you get those bottles when he blends them? Up?
Speaker 4 (02:21:19):
Yeah you buy him right there at the.
Speaker 1 (02:21:20):
Store it's At.
Speaker 3 (02:21:22):
Yeah that's WHAT i tell people all the. Time if
you listen to the show and you go. In Jeff
borswitz has relationships with every one of these distilleries and
they make specific bottles For. CORONA i actually have A
Jack daniels barrel proof bottle right, now specifically made and
blended For Corona, cigar AND i like. It it's just really.
(02:21:42):
Strong but The angels. Envy but my favorite buy a
million is the one he did For. Makers and every
single TIME i have a, SIP i send him a.
Text i'm, like, dude you hit a you hit a note.
Here this thing is bananas, good a little bit, sweet
that good, caramel that rich flavor to, It absolutely. Delicious so,
(02:22:05):
YEAH i think rum in tequila maybe IF i. Don't
that's an interesting process to watch happen BECAUSE i was
actually there for a meeting when the lady From makers
came in to do. It they have these suitcase looking
things and when they open them, up it's like an
old doctor's, suitcase and they've got little bottles of bourbon
that are being held up by, elastic, right and they're
(02:22:26):
just kind of lined, up and each one of those
little bottles of bourbon represents a barrel of bourbon in their.
Warehouse and what you learn is is those barrels of
bourbon have different aspects to, them different flavor aspects because
of where they are in the in the in the,
warehouse the ones closer to the ceiling get, warmer so
they switch them, around so those barrels will expand and
(02:22:48):
and contract and and have a different. Consistency so that's
why they blend them.
Speaker 6 (02:22:52):
Together AND i just recently learned that the whole whole
reason bourbon gets as flavor as the, Wood, yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:22:57):
The, wood the charred would the white oat, Barrels.
Speaker 6 (02:22:59):
Yeah, absolutely the barrel that it's stored. In you, know
that's How chanel number five got the number.
Speaker 1 (02:23:04):
Five, NO i didn't know. That it's because.
Speaker 6 (02:23:07):
Perfumery or whatever came in with the vials of you,
know perfumes to choose, from and she said number, five
and it ended up number five and being sheneal number
five one of the best.
Speaker 3 (02:23:16):
Selling perfumes in the history of like perfume. Exactly and
you know scotch is. Also scotch is different because, well
for one, thing it's pete smoked and it's also aged sherry,
Barrels so barrels that had sherry wine at one, point,
right they take that and then they put the scotch in,
there and that's why that has That it gets its
caramel from. There they don't don't think they scorched those.
Barrels they just it's just old sherry.
Speaker 6 (02:23:36):
Barrels and that's why scotch is harder for, me because
you got to really like that pead.
Speaker 3 (02:23:41):
Taste it's, smoky, yeah and some of them are really really.
Speaker 1 (02:23:44):
Smoking there's a brand called Laga. Ulin, yeah and Laga.
Speaker 3 (02:23:47):
Ulin IF i take the cork off, here it would
smell like a campfire where you.
Speaker 6 (02:23:51):
Are, yep you bring that back From, England oh, yeah oh.
Speaker 3 (02:23:53):
Yeah and then you have of course, McCallan's and they
are all very very, Sweet Glynn, Fittage Glenn, ringe all
those are are just really good.
Speaker 6 (02:24:00):
Whiskeys but, Okay scotch is, okay, No i'm not going
to do it sounding.
Speaker 3 (02:24:05):
Stupid scotch's pete smoke that has a little smokey bourbon
is not.
Speaker 6 (02:24:08):
Okay Whiskey scotch and bourbon.
Speaker 3 (02:24:10):
All the, same if they're all, Whiskeys, Okay scotch, whiskey
a bourbon, whiskey a rye.
Speaker 1 (02:24:16):
Whiskey it's just.
Speaker 3 (02:24:17):
It's just what the rye uses ry instead of wheat or,
corn you, Know and so it's it's just. All it's
all how they're produced now for bourbon and be called
the bourbon that's supposed to be de silled In, kentucky
but you have other places producing quote.
Speaker 4 (02:24:30):
Bourbon.
Speaker 6 (02:24:30):

Credit he's been calling this out for, many many. Years
in the middle of a.
Speaker 1 (02:31:23):
Session two Hundred Orange county families scrambling to find new
schools for their children after the abrupt closure Of Legends
academy charter.
Speaker 6 (02:31:32):
School, yeah that happened over the holiday. Break can you
imagine you've got kids home for the holiday, break you're
getting ready to send them. Back you can't, wait and
then you get worried that, well they have to find
a new.
Speaker 8 (02:31:43):
School.
Speaker 3 (02:31:44):
Yeah AND i went to the school and none of
the tabs on their website, Work, like you can't get
any the. Information it just gives this blanket statement about
what's going.
Speaker 1 (02:31:51):
On, now apparently that's.
Speaker 6 (02:31:52):
It they were spending way more than they were bringing,
in upwards of like six hundred thousand dollars IF i
remember the local news.
Speaker 22 (02:31:59):
Reports.
Speaker 3 (02:31:59):
Correct, yeah and a lot of families are checking. In you,
know one person, says my heart's. Crushed my grandson's heartest
crushed because this is more than a, staff teachers and.
Principle this is a, community it's a family right in
the middle of the school. Years what bothers, me, Right,
yeah upset grandmother attended A zoom meeting when the schools
board of directors voted to close the school during winter.
(02:32:20):
Break they weren't answering questions about where all the funds
are going and stuff like. That this is something you
just don't find out in one.
Speaker 4 (02:32:26):
Day it's.
Speaker 3 (02:32:26):
Impossible and what's worse, now it's kind of hard to
get in some of these schools because they're shutting schools
down because of these stupid charter.
Speaker 4 (02:32:32):
Schools and that's that was a vote today as.
Speaker 6 (02:32:35):
Well, yeah exactly In Brevard, county they're trying to KEEP
i think It's Cape. Canaveral they're trying to keep their
one such wetion right their last.
Speaker 3 (02:32:43):
School it says the families were led to believe that
children be moving into a new building Off John Young
parkway for classes At Legends, academy but it never. Happened
one person said they should have taken that money they
put into building this new building to keep the other ones,
going pay the teachers and the staff and do what
they had to.
Speaker 6 (02:32:57):
Do and here is part of the, problem, right there's
there's no, accountability so it's just left families and parents and, Students,
yeah scrambling in the middle of the school, year.
Speaker 3 (02:33:07):
And Orange County Public schools sent out the SAYING ocps
is contact contact that impacted, families software guidance, support and
provide student enrollment options within their schools to explore or
other schools to choose through open. Enrollment we're committed to
supporting students through this. Transition and that's What Orange county's
that's what they. Need they need to swoop in and
make sure these people understand that just when they thought
(02:33:30):
everything an you your tax is paid for, that there's
no fee for, that you. Know, yeah AND i guess
with the voucher it's the same with the. Other but,
man you don't know how where this money's, going you. Know,
they Like scott, says a lot of this they don't
have to report a lot of this stuff that that's
not transparent when it comes to the. Financials and six
hundred thousand. Dollars, yeah, crazy, dude co crazy all? Right
(02:33:51):
