I'm not making this political. He is just being dragged
in general. It's not necessarily political.

So Anthony Mackie's tenure as the new Captain America it's
off to a rocky start. So people are ripping him
for comments he made. He's at a press event in
Rome on Monday, and he said, quote, for me, Captain
America represents a lot of different things, and I don't
think the term, you know, America should be one of
those representations.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
Unquote.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
I'll be honest, I've never seen any Captain American murdey,
So I just feel.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
Like it's in the name. So you kind of odd
should red, white and blue.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Yeah, So he said quotes about a man keeps his word,
who who has honored dignity, integrity, someone who's trustworthy and dependable.
I honestly think he just what was going on in
his mind just came out wrong.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
I don't know much about him at all, but yeah,
people have just been dragging him. And then he says
he made a little statement saying, quote, let me be
clear about this, I'm a proud American. Taking on the
shield of a hero like cap is an honor of
a lifetime. I think he probably meant to say, like
Captain America isn't only relevant to.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Americans and it's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
I mean, I think that's probably what he was trying
to get it. I don't know whatever. Anyway, so people
are dragging him to his life. So the Jonas Brothers
are teaming up with Disney Plus for a Christmas comedy movie.
I know, we just got through Christmas, but this is
gonna come out like what like eleven months, ten months
from now, It'll be twenty twenty five holiday season, and
it's to be titled, well, at least right now, it's
(01:30):
titled Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
It was.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
It's gonna follow Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas
as they try to make it from London to New
York for Christmas with their family. So they will also
be co producing the movie and it's going to feature
some new original songs. They do, of course, have a
strong history already with Disney because of Camp Brock and
their own series Jonas and all that.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Stuff and yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
So the video announcement kind of gives a nod though
to love actually you know, the Holiday movie and they're
doing like the a ch iconic cue card scene in
the movie from Yeah you know that's cute.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
It's cute it.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Is, and Meryl Streep, she basically I just I don't know.
I was watching Big Little Lies in Meryl's in that okay,
and she looks so much like my grandmother that I
text my grandmother this the other day because it like
breaks me out. How much do they look alike in
that movie that show. So anyway, so this came up
and I want to talk about it because she basically
is superhuman is I don't know? She could do no
wrong in my book, So Meryl Streep, if you didn't know,
(02:24):
she's seventy five years old, she's been in like every
iconic movie. And her neighbor said her neighborhood in Los
Angeles received evacuation orders the first night that the Powell
Palisades fires erupted, and there were those hurricane forest whims
that we all talked about, but her nephew actually talked
about how she escaped as the flames got close, because
she actually borrowed wirecutters from her neighbor, like Rando her
(02:44):
neighbor's house, cut a hole in her fence big enough
just for her car and then the fence that she
shared with her neighbor, and then drove.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Through the yard to escape. Oh way was a wild Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
So she had she had to, like Lily, go over there,
get some wirecutters, cut a hole to get out.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
That's great. She's seventy five, bad as j.

Yeah, bad as she's my grooma. Now I feel looking
for something to watch tonight. There's this new show it's
called Paradise on ABC. The four season premiere Mystic Plus
is on Apple TV Plus. There's this new limited series
on Netflix called American Manheim O. J. Simpson, and then
the series premiere of Your Friendly Neighborhood speed Man.
