WYMS radio. If you've ever parked at the airport, doesn't
that what airport it is? You know, it's expensive. Sometimes

it might be easier to buy a plane, but to
Germany we go. So there's this car that was left
in the short term parking area a Berlin's airport. It's
been there a whole year. It is racked up over
two hundred thousand dollars in parking fees a year. Yeah.
So here's the thing. This particular airport, Berlin's Brandenburg Airport,

the first ten minutes is free, right after which it
cost eleven dollars for thirty minutes. That's steep. That's a
long twenty three dollars per hour. What five hundred and
fifty two hours per day you park your car there.
That is insane.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
That's robbery because even like the the hourly parking at
least I believe most airports. I'm just facing it off
of airports I've drove to in my lifetime and like
have done this all the time. Usually they tap it
out like max. It even says all the thing max
thirty dollars a day.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yes, yeah, yes, And I've done like the short term parking,
but park there over night if I'm running late to
the airport.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I have done hourly parking time and time again for
the entire weekend. And it's max like sixty bucks.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Correct, two hundred thousand dollars is a lot. That's insane.
So it's also odd because they're saying, why was the
car left there for a year? Why did nobody report
the car being there for a If.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You go to airports and you fly out a lot
and you're parking there, you see the same cars. There
are so many cars at different airports that I've seen,
Like there's one at BWI that they've written all over
saying with Atlanta's airport.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, which is odd. Yeah, so the thing in this
car in particular was stolen because the license plate doesn't
match the car registration.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Well okay, well that's a big sign that probably was Yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
They're staying the fine probably won't get paid, but that
is two hundred thousand dollars parking.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
But that's point. I would even want the car back
if I had, like, let's just say they had like
some medical emergency and they ended up stuck somewhere for
like six months or something, and then you have that,
I'm just gonna like let the car go.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
