Casey and Nick first met on Bumble a few months ago and Casey tells us that they immediately hit it off because she liked that Nick liked going out every weekend. Casey shares that they have gone on multiple dates since first matching, but ever since their last date she hasn’t heard from Nick. Casey says Nick spent the night and they watched movies two weeks ago, but ever since then Nick has gone radio-silent with Casey.

We call Nicky trying to figure out if there is anything else between him and Casey that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and he tells us that he wasn’t a fan of something he found in one of her journals. Find out what’s really going on in this Second Date Update!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Second date update on internshown in your morning shout you
meet somebody could be out in the wild, could be
on app. But the important thing is you think there's
a vibe. You think maybe they can break the string
of bad dates. But then they stopped talking to you.
We try to see exactly what is going on. Casey,
good morning, Hey guys, how's it going good?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Thank you? So walk us through this. You and Nick
first met where?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Uh so which one it on Bumble?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Okay? And that was how long ago?

Speaker 3 (00:27):
A couple of months? Like two months ago?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (00:30):
And what about Nick? Let me ask you this first.
How long have you been on Bumble prior to match
you with Nick?

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I mean on and off.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I've been on at this point, I guess probably.

Speaker 4 (00:41):
A year and a half.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
And so what about Nick made him stand out versus
the other fellas on the app?

Speaker 4 (00:47):
He's just like, he's actually cute, and he's fun. He
likes to go out and do things, and he could
just you know, he's not too of TI.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
I don't know you just.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Sure?

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Okay, So we matched two months ago in your email.
If I'm reading this correctly, you guys have been basically
dayteen the last two months. Is that fair saying not
in a relationship, but going on dates basically every week?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Is that fair to say?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah? Okay, so walk us through that. Do you make
plans every week or is it kind of like a
fluid thing. I see you went to a Caps game.
That's very exciting, But how does the date planning usually go?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Yay?

Speaker 6 (01:31):
Mo?

Speaker 3 (01:31):
We don't usually typically plan sift two ahead, like I'll
be like, hey, what are you doing tonight, Like come over,
let's hang out, let's do something, and usually we'll just
kind of it's usually gonna last minute.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Sure, But like the last though, eight weeks or so,
it's been every week, so pretty pretty consistent. Okay, you
the last time you guys hung out was at your place.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
What happened?

Speaker 4 (01:57):
We hung out, We watched a couple of movies, he
stayed over.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
It was all good.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
He actually did like two nights in a row, so everything,
you know, pretty solid.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
And I thought we watched like.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
His favorite movie and we watched one of my favorite movies,
like it was just a good night.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
And that was about two weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Yeah, and nothing since then, no texting, You've reached out,
no calls, nothing, nothing was there anything that stands out
from the last time you guys hung out or was
he given every indication that things are normal, usual routine.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
I mean, he was pretty normal about it, but I mean,
I guess I don't know he actually yeah, I mean
everything seemed fine.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
It just yeah, every day.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
No, sure.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
And so the last thing I wanted to ask is
you mentioned you've been on off on the app for
about a year or so.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
How long have you been single for? How long has
he been single for? I've been like officially single for
a year and a half.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
He's he's actually always been single.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
He's never even not a real girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Oh okay, okay, he's uh, you'm a saying Rangers.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
You're both twenty six? Is that correct? Yeah? And so
he has never had anything, like even a couple of months.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
He's like, you know, dated people kind of like we are,
but like he's never had like a real official relationship.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
That's all right, Okay, So let's do this. We'll call him,
We'll try and get him on and get his side. Okay, okay,
one second, hell.

Speaker 7 (03:45):
Yeah, all right?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Is this Nick?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yes, this is me, Hey man, it's an internshipn I
got Sauce and Rose here as well. Can we talk
to you on the show real quick about something I've seen,
like thirty seconds of your time, nothing bad.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
Yes, it's only gonna take thirty second.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Yeah, yeah, real quest.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
I got somebody onto the line here, Casey if you
want to say hello.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
And so Nick real quick.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Hastory shout out to us mentioned you guys matched on
a bumble about two months ago, have been dating for
about two months ish or so, but that you have
gone kind of disappeared the last two weeks. We're just
calling to see where your head's at, what you're thinking. Well,
the vibes are.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
Wow. I mean I really wasn't expecting to call about
something like this.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
But but Tiy and her defense though, if you haven't communicated,
why you just kind of disappeared?

Speaker 7 (04:41):
So she's you know, yeah, I mean yeah, I mean
I guess that is fair. I mean, well, it's nothing
really personal against.

Speaker 8 (04:50):
Her or anything like that.

Speaker 7 (04:51):
I think she's a great girl, she's cool and we
have a good time. But yeah, I kind of saw
something that may you feel a little uncomfortable. And you know,
I know, you don't really supposed to go through people things,
and if you don't looking for something, you're gonna find it,
and I was looking through like one of her note parts,

(05:11):
and I just saw some information that kind of was
like whoa, you know, it's it was a little much
for me all at once.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Did you like a journal?

Speaker 7 (05:21):
I mean yeah, I mean I can tell it was
a journal. It was like a composition notebook.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
You know, what'd you find in there?

Speaker 5 (05:32):
Well?

Speaker 7 (05:34):
I mean she had her whole life planned out, and
not like career wise or school wise. It was more
so like relationship goals and family goals.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
And things of that nature.

Speaker 7 (05:46):
And you know that's good for her. But I don't
think that's really great.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
But you know, I understand you say, like family goals
like goals for her her siblings and her parents are
like for her own family one day.

Speaker 7 (06:03):
Like for her own family, like personal family, like married, Yeah,
it's our future family.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Okay, But you.

Speaker 9 (06:11):
Didn't have your name on there somewhere that made you run.

Speaker 7 (06:13):
You now here was the weird thing. It didn't have
my name, but it had my middle name. And I
never remember telling her my middle name.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Okay, all right, hold on, what's that Casey did? Okay?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
I'm assuming Casey is a notebook? Did you find out
who male name? Or is that coincidence.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
That's just a coincidence. It's a common name.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, yeah, I mean Nicholas Michael, very very nice, good
Catholic boy.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
That's a very to but you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Okay, let me do this. I'm gonna put you guys
in hold. Are your team Nick or team Casey? Eight
seven seven nine ninety five four six State.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Want to call?

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Nine ninety three three eight attacks second date update on interned.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Johan Morning Show Second Date Updates. He turns you down
in your morning show.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
We have talked to Casey and Nick the man Bumble
a few months ago. She said everything was going on great.
They had some dates, they hung out a little bit,
then he went goes.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
He said that he.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
Found, I guess in a notebook, some names and some
kind of like life things that maybe made him feel like,
I don't know, she was getting too high herself. Your
thoughts eight seven seven nine ninety five four six state
one to call nine ninety three three eight to text
are putting you in hold?

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Shelby Sauce your thoughts.

Speaker 6 (07:29):
I want to know where the notebook was, Like, why
did he start going through it? Was it just on
the coffee table? Was it like a drawer?

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (07:36):
And then also I feel like he just really jumped
to the conclusions. I don't really find that that weird.
If she was just writing things like that, people.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Do that, women do that.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
Oh really, Yeah, it's just it's kind of like manifest
I guess it is manifesting.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
I don't. I don't think it's weird if she just
does it. Why not.

Speaker 6 (07:52):
It's like if you're at home by yourself and you
just feel like doing that whatever. Sure, I don't think
she wrote it hoping he'd find it and then judge her.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yeah, that'd be different thing because she ententionally left it
out and it's just like their life story.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
Yeah, that'd be the different I just I don't know.
He seems to have a commitment issues. He saw that
and decided just to jump to conclusions, and it's like
a I think it's a cop out.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
I think he wasn't into it.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Rose your thoughts.

Speaker 9 (08:17):
It sounds like this is something that she would write
in a journal or a diary, and it sounds like
he was snooping, which like immediately makes my red flags
go off. I, like SAA said, this is not like
a weird thing for a woman to do. I've done
this before. The name coincidence. Maybe she had dated a
Michael in the past and she wrote his name, like

(08:39):
she wrote this list with that guy in mind, and
your middle name just happens to be Michael. I think
it's a red flag on his part.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
Yeah yeah, the maddle name thing, it's a common name.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
I went through a girls stuff once she had in
turn written down for a potential baby, and it sounds
like that's different. That's only one, you know. Let me
go in Damascus, Adrianna, good.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Morning, Good morning. What'd you want to say with second
date update?

Speaker 8 (09:07):
I'm king Casey. I fully agree with Sauce and Rose.
This isn't weird for a girl to do.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
He should not have gone snooping.

Speaker 8 (09:15):
And I do think he has some sort of commitment issues,
being the fact that he's twenty six and hasn't had
any sort of relationship before, and like it's it's totally
fine if he decides that he does not want to
have a sear relationship, that is okay, but he should
have been honest with her after two months of dating, like, hey,
I don't see this going anywhere, so this isn't her

(09:35):
time and he's't wicte this time.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
I just gret a thank you for listening. You have
a great day to guy. I also would say to
the fellas not necessarily a bad thing. If their you're
hanging with sees the future with you, yes, usually tends
to be usually positive. Us go and Gaithersburg, Nadia, good.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Morning, Hiding. What do you want to say, girl?

Speaker 10 (09:58):
I just want to tell okay See to run as
fast as she can. Yeah, yeah, I mean red flags everywhere.
He is twenty six, never had a girlfriend. There's nothing
wrong with that, but like at twenty six, I think
a guy should be like looking into settle down.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Ish, you know.

Speaker 10 (10:16):
Yeah, and first and then he was like snooping around
reading her journals, Like who does that?

Speaker 11 (10:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (10:23):
Disagree, that's disrespectful all over, So just run a way better.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Off, Nadia, thank you for listening. I have a great day.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Thank you you guys do if.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
It should big thing.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
I won't even go through a girl's purse that I
know they say something in my purse like I will.
I'd rather bring you the purse a mile than go
to the purse if I find things in there, you know.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
What I mean?

Speaker 5 (10:44):
Yeah, I mean yeah, there's a lot of thaws.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Yeah, a lot wild, a whole bunch of things. We
go in Gainesville, Brittney, good morning.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
What do you want to say with this girl?

Speaker 11 (10:56):
Yeah, I was agreeing with Shelby Foston Rose. I think
that it would depend on where the journal was left,
Like if it was out in the open on a
desk or something, I understand him maybe looking at it.
But if it's just you know, he was snooping around
and it's like a diary situation where she didn't think
he would ever see it, I don't. I think it's
sort of an invasion of privacy.

Speaker 5 (11:17):
I don't think that her.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Yeah, I don't disagree with all. Brittany, thank you for listening.
Have a great day you too.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, we love your thoughts over text nine ninety three
three eight DMS open as well at YMS Radio. I
just had a funny thought if I ever ruined the
name John for somebody, I don't know why, just thought that, Like,
what do you mean, like somebody that i've wow been with.

Speaker 9 (11:42):
Yeah, that you've dated, and they're like never naming.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
My kids John, Like that's off the list? Is Yeah,
I have a list.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
I tell you'd be kind of hard to do those
it's a very common name.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Or for my teachers that had me, if they're like,
we can't because I know teachers who like, I can't
name my kid Chris because I had a Christ in
class once.

Speaker 9 (11:58):
It was bad when when we we were naming our girls,
there were specific names that I would not pick because
like people I knew in the past.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yeah, well so yeah, probably, John. I'm sorry to tell
you this has probably happened to without you knowing it.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Honestly, it sucks with that kid because they could have
been cooler, you know what I'm saying. If they have
my name, there go if you want yeah that too.
If you want to do a second date out date
