Speaker 2 (00:06):
There's another Critics' Choice Awards on the books. I'm gonna
be so feral right now. I didn't even know what
was happening until I saw it on the news on Sunday. Yeah,
so the big award show it went on after being
delayed multiple times because of the fires, which that totally
makes sense. Chelsea Handler, she actually hosted. She made some
funny jokes. I felt bad laughing about the Blake Lively

(00:26):
and justin Paldonian jokes that she made. But she's like,
you know what at times like this, like we need distraction.
Oh yeah, Blake Lively, that's about don't you thank you
for being that. But she said a lot more. I'm
not gonna say it, but yeah, so she started to
night like talking about the fires and everything, thinking first responders,
which is like phenomenal, and multiple times a lot of
the winners also think the first responders, which is very nice.

(00:49):
On the film size stuff, a Nora won the Best Picture,
Adrian Brody won Best Actor for his work in The Brutalists,
and Debbie Moore won Best Actress for her work in
the substance. I need to watch that because she has
been like getting all these awards and you said that
that's good.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I need to check it out.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
And then Zoe's Aldana she won Best Supporting Actress for
her role in Amelia Perez. And then Karring Colkin won
the Best Ward for Supporting a Best Supporting Actor for
his performance in A Real Pain. And then Jonathan too
Sport a bit of an upset because for the Best
Director for Wicked and everything, which that makes sense. And
then yeah, so it was it was nice. I mean

(01:27):
it looked nice from what I saw on Saturday. Sorry,
sorry day. And then Drake showed some love to people
that attended his concert yesterday in Melbourne. So basically he
handed out forty five thousand dollars between two fans. That's cool,
forty five thousand dollars between two people. Let's be nice,
let's go. So Drake, he saw this fan in the
crowd that was holding up beside that said a Donnas

(01:48):
for President, a Donnas as his candid. He didn't know,
and he loved it so much that he gave that
fan twenty five grand. That's twenty five thousand dollars. Ye,
now you can't do it again because I know, like
as ex concert, everybody's gonna be holding the time. But
come on, that's wow. And then he handed out another
sign that asked for a kiss. He handed out like
there was a sign that said, like Drake, can I
have a kiss? And then he hinted that person twenty grand,

(02:10):
twenty thousand dollars. So then he said, quote, I really
appreciate you. I would be nothing without you. Unquote I
kid it. Yeah, I'm a little bit jealous. And then ABC,
I don't know if you guys saw this, but I
was a little bit surprised. But ABC is pressing pause
on the bachel read. So they said, basically they're gonna
be taking a little bit of a break. Basically production

(02:31):
started in late winter and then they decided that they're
they're gonna the last three seasons aired in July and
they're not gonna actually do it this year. They said
they haven't told us a reason, but an insider did
say that we should not rule it out. But basically
they're just trying to mix it up a little bit,
is what I saw. Like they're trying to like change
a little bit. I think and this is just my

(02:54):
bias opinion, I think that Love Island has just been
like out doing that threat so much because everybody loves
that show so much. So it's also new, and the
Bacherette has been around since what like the early two thousand.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah, I think they're both kind of stale.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Ya, they're just trying to like mix up all of it.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
And last season they had a hard time actually finding
a bachelorette. They had there was like there was supposed
to be two different people and then they both backed out.
Yeah that might be it too.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I forgot about that. Yeah, so they we don't know why,
but I think that, like think Rose, I think that
you're right, And then I think maybe like they're just
trying to yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Too, because that's super popular. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
I recently watching to Night the Voice on NBC. Paradise
is trending. It's worldwide number one right now in Hulu,
and then Night Agent and Severance is on Apple TV
Plus and then Night Agents on Netflix and those are
also trending.
