Let's do this from the City that changes the world.
Peers Rose with three things you.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Need to know for you Monday, Rose, you got for us.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I'm obviously being in the DV there's a lot of
federal workers, so I want to make sure I talked
about this. Elon Musk, leading the Department of Government Efficiency
under President Donald Trump, send an email early Saturday telling
all federal employees to send back a bullet pointed list
of up to five things they accomplished last week now.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
In a post on x not.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
In the email, Musk said that if anyone chose to
not apply, it would be considered their resignation. He also
posted that a large number of good responses have been
received already and that he said, quote, these are the
people who should be considered for promotion. But several US agencies,
reportedly including the FBI and the State Department, have advised
their staff not to comply immediately, emphasizing adherence to.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Establish chains of command. So it's kind.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Of confusing, like are you supposed to respond? Everyone waiting
to kind of figure out that out.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
The largest federal workers.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Union has questioned Musk's authority to enforce such mandates and
plans a challenge any unlawful dismissals.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
I have a friend who works for NASA.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
She said she got this email and that she was
told too weak for guidance and at least for her email.
It says it's due eleven fifty nine pm today, so
there is a little bit of time. But she's she
told me, she's like, I've been on edge for a month.
She's like, nobody knows what's going on, So just want
to give you that. So this is gonna give you
a warning. This is a heavy story. To Virginia Beach

(02:00):
Police officers Cameron Gervin and Christopher Reese were shot and
killed during a.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Traffic stop on Friday night.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
This incident police chief described as an execution. The officers
pulled over a vehicle because of expired license plates. That
driver initially refused to cooperate before suddenly pulling out a handgun,
opening fire. Both officers were hit multiple times before backups arrived.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
The driver fled the scene on foot.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
He was later found with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound.
But Officer Gervin, he was twenty five, had been in
the department for three years and was expecting his first
child in August with his wife, and then Officer Reese,
who is thirty five, was a veteran officer with seven
years of service.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
So just thinking of them and their families were so tragic.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
And in some lighter news, Walter Johnson High School cross country,
track and field coach Tom Martin, known as Marty by
his athletes, is one of the ten finalists for the
Positive Coaching Alliance twenty twenty five Coach of the Year
Very National Award, which is really awesome. So they wrote
What's Marty as he's effectually known by his athletes apart
is how effortless the friendship and camaraderie grows among teammates

(03:09):
under his guidance somehow without being overly sentimental. Marty's daily
anecdotes and action showcase the importance of showing up for friends,
being helpful without a request, and having a lighthearted attitude
towards stress, which.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I was like, that's just really cool. I wrote, those
are the three things you need to know for the day.
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
I thought this was kind of funny as we are
trying to get your cash at seven thirty five this
morning intern Johnny Morning Shows a million dollar winter. You
gave a million dollars. You can spend money on stupid things.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
You could you got cash, Yeah, you could just buy eggs, honest,
yeah he did that.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Pokemon fans are bidding thousands of dollars on a charizard
shaped flaming hot cheeto, now corse character in Pokemon. If
you google Charizard Cheeto, you will see the flaming hot
cheeto in question. And it does look like it has
I mean, Charizar is a dragon. It looks like a head,
and he's gotten arms, he's got legs, he's got tail

(03:59):
and it looks there is wings to be fair. So
I guess there's this collection company that back in twenty
last year they first found the Cheeto they call it
the Cheetos ard Cheeto in the back of a bag
and try to sell it. Now, before you roll your
eyes about how much money you can make for this
kind of stuff, there was a flamin hot Cheeto looked
like Pikachu, which is another Pokemon that's sold for twenty

(04:23):
six thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
My god, what do people do with it? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
To your point, sauce, do you just have it on
display and go? Do you want to see the Cheetos? Yeah,
looks like poke Pikachuu. How weird the Cheetos are. Pokemon
is set to go to value. They say it's the
auction ends March first. The top bit eclipse the thousand
mark and chopped all the way to fifteen hundred dollars.

(04:47):
Right now it's at twenty one hundred dollars. So if
you're looking for an investment, do you know it can't
go well, it probably can't go down in value. I'm
gonna be honest with you. Yeah, but that's one of
those number billion things where I don't know, how do
you sell it down the line?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Yeah, and what do you do with it? Because it's
it's food, I think, and it's probably stale.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah. Well, and the photos of it, the guy has
it in like a display case as if it is
something like of extreme value. That's diffine, which I guess
if you get a couple of thousand dollars off of it,
good for you. Yeah, you know, if you want to
see it, well, put it on the socials at YMS radio.
It's intern Johnny.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Marshow intern John in your morning show. That's true and iHeartRadio.
