positive measles case has been found in Howard An a
Howard County resident who traveled internationally through Dulles International Airport.
So this case is not associated with the outbreak in Texas.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
And New Mexico. It is because of international travel.

The agency's Warren travelers who pass through the international area
of Terminal A at Dulles on March fifth between four
pm and nine pm about potential exposure, and then people
traveling on transportation to the main terminal and at the
baggage claim may have also been exposed. There was possible
exposure for anyone who visited the JOHNS Hopkins Howard County

(00:44):
Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department in Columbia on March seventh
between three point thirty and seven thirty pm. I just
want to give this information on because measles is highly
contagious and it can spread through the air by breathing.

Coughing, or sneezing.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Symptoms can appear seven to fourteen days after exposure and
include fevers of one hundred and one degrees, a running nose, cough,
watery eyes, and rashes on the face and body. Anyone
who believes they could have possibly been exposed should isolate
at home and then contact their healthcare providers. So Alex

I saw the story and I thought it was like
just heartwarming. A Fairfax County beaver named Wally was saved
from extermination after a community petition gathered over two thousand signatures.
Oh I know, I was like, Oh Wally, than can.
Community association initially planned to trap and remove Wally due

(01:55):
to concerns about tree law, but Virginia law prohibits relocation,
meaning they would have to euthanize unfortunately, my God. In
response to public outcry, officials chose non lethal measures like
fencing and damn.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Removal to encourage Wally to move on his own.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
So advocate celebrated the decision, calling it a great example
of the power of community action and protecting wildlife.

Virginia changed that wall. Yeah, like what are you doing crazy?
