you're here for with bad friend Poker?

Speaker 4 (00:52):
What do they do that? Who really tested your friendship?
Running the friendship on the spot. Let me get out
in Pasadena her birthplace?

Speaker 5 (01:02):
Still good morning, Well, good morning, A girl.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Lates what happened?

Speaker 6 (01:07):
So I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, and this
girl who was my best friend, she was the.

Speaker 7 (01:13):
Godmother of my daughter, helped me even pick out her name.

Speaker 8 (01:16):
Sound like she was sleeping with my daughter's father from
the time I was seven months pregnant until I had
her own.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Look, how'd you find this out?

Speaker 6 (01:24):
So a friend of ours who was actually in jail
at the time, had actually came out and told me
because my daughter's father and her went up to visit
him in jail and they felt bad, so clollingly and
told him what happened.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
Oh my god, So his buddy raud him out, And
I was like, yeah, you know what's going on.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
Yep, pretty much, that's a good friend.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Yeah, when you confront of them, did they own it?

Speaker 9 (01:48):
She didn't, but he did.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Yeah, Okay, it took her years to finally admit to it.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
I hope she stubs her toe every single day.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
Uh she even I believe she wasn't around or she's
married now and has kids and everything.

Speaker 7 (02:02):
Well, I'm gonna go.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Try for a car breaks down today.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Absolutely, Crystal. One second, you were in the running very past, Dina.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Sorry, Yeah, my high school friends left with my high
school boyfriend's and we were camping and I was like
near them, how I was sleeping and they snuck out
of the tent I don't know, and then she didn't tell.
I found out like six months later, like right for
a promise. My friends made me get over it, and
they're like no, like we're gonna have fun at prom.
And then I was like, why do I have to

(02:29):
move on from my like our friend hurt my feelings?
Sleeping with my boyfriend?

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Hell no, hell no, let me go Jassica, good morning,
good morning? All right, girl a bad friend poker? What happened?

Speaker 10 (02:42):
So we were.

Speaker 11 (02:43):
Both planning our weddings at the same.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Time, and every idea that I had, she was like, oh,
I'm going to do that. Like the girl who had
never gone on a hike in her life wanted a
hiking bachelorette per Oh god, yeah. Like she wanted a
wedding cake until I said we weren't doing what cake
and then she was like, we're doing mini desserts.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Oh oh, oh so weird.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
So you forced us to like write her letters and
like have a slumber party and like do all these things.
I think I spent about like two thousand dollars on
her wedding, and then two days after her wedding, she
was like, you're a terrible friend.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
You did nothing to support me getting married. Like hell no, friend,
what hell no? Hell no? Did you go to the
wedding or no I did.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
I was her basically like her maid of honor. I
did like her speech, I like helped her get dressed,
literally did play the part perfect.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
And yeah it was not enough for her.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 12 (03:40):
I was like, I'm gonna buy the bad friend.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah, no doubt. Okay, Jessica went second, you're the running
women pupa more ish than dudes.

Speaker 13 (03:47):
You.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
If I was in a dude's wedding, He's like, it's
me two grand by, you're crazy. Yeah, I'm not writing
letters like we'll go and get drinks. But there's a
zero percent chance it is hard. A girl from my
high school that was friends with Texan, Oh, I saw yes, yes,
yes again in Germantown and a good morning.

Speaker 14 (04:03):
Good morning.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
I do in this case, you are the bad friend.

Speaker 14 (04:07):
I am the bad friend.

Speaker 15 (04:09):
My dad always told me when I was younger, because
the car that he let me drive when I got.

Speaker 14 (04:15):
My license, he said, never keep it at half gas.
Always when you're at half a take.

Speaker 16 (04:21):
Always hill it up.

Speaker 11 (04:22):
But you know, me, being a teenager, I always let
it run low.

Speaker 15 (04:25):
And I was on e when I pulled up to
my friend's house and I went to go leave, and
she has a really steep driveway, so the car wouldn't
turn on sure because clearly I was low on that
and the gas wasn't where it needs to be.

Speaker 14 (04:42):
So I had her stand in front.

Speaker 17 (04:45):
Of the car and push it so that I could
get enough I guess leverage to get the car started.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Of course, did it work.

Speaker 11 (04:55):
Wound up pinning her between her parents' car and.

Speaker 5 (04:58):
My god car.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Did she get her I wouldn't she?

Speaker 14 (05:07):
She was bruised, yes, So I told her.

Speaker 11 (05:10):
She wanted me to get her.

Speaker 7 (05:11):
Parents, and I told her, no, I'm going to get.

Speaker 17 (05:14):
In trouble, so I didn't let her get her parents.
We finally wound up getting her unpinned and she just
like collapses.

Speaker 7 (05:24):
To the floor.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
I can't imagine, all right, Yeah, that's uh, that'd be
a bad friend. Anaho was second, you're in the running
that Hippi car.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
I was so thank you. I was like, wait, who's
the bad front here?

Speaker 1 (05:36):
She is?

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Yes, I'm going Towson Tyler, Good morning, Good morning, I'm
going good Man. Later on what happened?

Speaker 18 (05:44):
So I was playing on proposing to my girlfriend, and
I set up like a scavenger hunt all around Baltimore.
It's like taking her to all of our favorite places,
like where we had our first day, where we played pickleball,
and to prepare, I asked my best friend to be
the photographer, kind of like they hid in while she
like comes up the hill at fed Hill and like

(06:06):
I asked her the question everything, and it was a
schemers hunt. So who knew how long it was going
to take her? And I guess I did a good
job of making clues that she wouldn't be able to
figure out where.

Speaker 19 (06:17):
The next clue was.

Speaker 18 (06:18):
So I guess it took too long for my friend
and he was like, yeah, I gotta go. I can't
hang around anymore. So I kind of just had to
prop up a phone to record the.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Wait he left before the actual proposal.

Speaker 18 (06:31):
Yeah, he said it took too long. I mean I
did tell him that ideally it should take her till
four pm, and it was six pm when she finally
got to make But ye.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Are I still friends? Yeah?

Speaker 18 (06:44):
I mean at the end of the day he's been
like my day one friend. Yeah, dude, like like that
kind of thing.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
So yeah, yeah, you go through at.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
Least, but like, did you at least say like, hey,
you don't have to sit around right there and you
can go to this I'll text you when she's on
the way. Or was he just literally waiting around like
this is insane?

Speaker 18 (07:03):
Yeah, I mean we were chatting the whole time and
hanging out in his car, and then eventually he was like,
all right, get out of my.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Car, got together. That's weird. One second, he was just
like way around amlessly all day. I'd be like I
would be really mad too. Actually I wouldn't have left,
but I would. I would have some words. Video you
stick it out? My goodness your favorite. But why, like,
why didn't he just hire a photographer whose job that is?

Speaker 4 (07:24):
It's your buddy. I'm nine nine three three eight to a.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Vote, Cheeters, We're coming for you.

Speaker 1 (07:30):

Speaker 4 (09:15):
Are you much much a party animal?

Speaker 9 (09:20):
Sometimes I can't reserve, but I get that right, I
definitely let loose.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Lay your hair down? Has fun?

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Let me ask how's it hanging?

Speaker 5 (09:30):
Brother?

Speaker 19 (09:32):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (09:32):
It's sanging pretty good?

Speaker 4 (09:34):
All right, beautiful? Hi, doesn't do you understand the rules
of I've explained it.

Speaker 9 (09:39):
I think I got you three?

Speaker 4 (09:42):
You say he was in our secret selation chamber. The
last person is sell your naked and vice versa. If
you get right, you go in Jamaica. Here we go, ready, one, two, three?
Who is a dozen?

Speaker 9 (09:55):
Hazel?

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Hazel?

Speaker 9 (09:57):
Is that you Hazel?

Speaker 12 (10:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Who's Hazel?

Speaker 19 (10:04):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (10:05):
Jeez?

Speaker 21 (10:05):
You get Samantha on the phone? Does oh? So hold on?

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Let's positive. Let's just posit reve quids. My name's intern John.
I got Sauce and Rose here as well. We're doing
a war of the roses. Here's your girlfriend, Samantha? Who
is Hazel? Why have you seen her naked?

Speaker 9 (10:31):
So it was like an accident. You know, sure, I
wouldn't say a happy accident. That's not good to say.
That's not good to say. But it was definitely an accident.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
How how did somebody see you naked?

Speaker 9 (10:47):
So I threw this little party and without your girlfriend?
Weird party?

Speaker 12 (10:53):
What party?

Speaker 9 (10:54):
I don't remember a party?

Speaker 14 (10:55):
What part are you talking about?

Speaker 19 (10:57):
Well?

Speaker 7 (10:57):
This was?

Speaker 9 (10:58):
This was a party I had a little while ago.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
When when was it? When was the party? Was the theme?

Speaker 5 (11:04):
Girlfriend?

Speaker 9 (11:06):
I don't think it was a theme. It was kind
of like a sausage party.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Okay, wait, wait, wait, okay, but okay, hold on, when
was the party?

Speaker 9 (11:18):
It was, like, I don't know, a month ago or so?

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Okay, okay, so nobody has seen you naked in a month?

Speaker 13 (11:26):
No?

Speaker 9 (11:27):
Like I said, so this was an accident. You know,
you want me to give smith.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Have you guys been Samantha? Guy's been intimate in the
last Okay, yeah, that's so it should be your girlfriend. Okay,
And so how would a girl so you naked at
a party with all bros?

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (11:44):
Right, so the bros started, you know, don't take this
the wrong way, but the bros started inviting.

Speaker 19 (11:50):
Hose and.

Speaker 9 (11:55):
I have no idea that all these girls are gonna
end up.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
This guy's one. I know, yeah, you know, no talking
about my man's listening to one doctor DRACD. The hose
were coming.

Speaker 5 (12:07):
Over, very sheltered line.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
I told these young ladies, no hose run around. So
who is who is Hazel? Because obviously it's it's not
random gals if you know her name.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
Is, And why would Hazel does an accident call into
a radio station to take you to Jamaica?

Speaker 4 (12:21):
And also why wouldn't be your girlfriend?

Speaker 9 (12:23):
So yeah, yeah, so my bros, they, you know, they
started inviting all these girls, and I was in the shower.
I took a shower and I came out.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
So just so I understand, just I understand that. So
the party happens. You decided to have a party, bring
all the homies over. Hommies they put they put the
hose before the bros. They bring girls over. You decide
too much going on. I better get in the shower
and a walkout it.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
I'm overstimulated. Yeah, in my own.

Speaker 9 (12:52):
Home, I just need I needed to take a shower.
And my bathroom is off of my big master bedroom.
When I come out of the size, Yes, I got here.
I just got my towel on my head and.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
Shut up. Shut up.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
Dodgable or of.

Speaker 18 (13:12):
The roses is cretacked and possibly edited for broadcasts with
permission granted from all participants.

Speaker 21 (13:16):
Want more roses, go to y MS radio dot com.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Sa Vara send us to me. I tell somebody's jealous
of you, but trying to hide it, which is I say,
just watch them, was wash them, grit their teeth, and
were tend to be happy for you. You know what
I'm saying, because I do think when most people try
to hide that stuff, it's even more obvious.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
Yeah, and they just kind of look annoyed and mad
all the time.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
That stuffing they should be over the top excited for. Yeah.
The first thing carding the experts is they try to
subtly copy you. So not like everything just in small ways. Sure,
like they dress like you. Are they going after a
corporate job, they buy some ran for you. Do there's
a good chance they are jealous of you. Yeah, they say,

(13:58):
someone else who's trying to mile the life after yours
is a big red flag.

Speaker 5 (14:01):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (14:02):
I had a friend and she told me she had
a girlfriend who like is she got a new phone.
The friend got a new phone. Is she got a
new bag, friend got the stand bags, she joined Solid
Core or whatever that friend did, Like.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
That is it's bizarre.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Yeah, I'd be like, hey, can we not be the
same person? Is that possible?

Speaker 5 (14:19):
Please? It's weird.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
This one's kind of obvious if they're always.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
Yeah, if you ever come to them with like oh
I did this, Oh well I just did this, it's like, okay,
I just wanted to share my happy news.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
But okay, even in the negative side, it's like, oh
I have a headache a oh you wouldn't believe the
pain that I'm in. Yeah, okay, well.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
I have friends like that.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
That's it's the worst. Yeah, it's like, oh, I'm going
through something bad. You wouldn't believe I went through ten
years ago.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
No, I like remember, I like made this new friend
a while ago, and she was asking why I'd been
single for so long, and I just like kind of
gave her like the shortest version of like why my
ex and I broke up and she's like, oh you
think that, and then she's like, well, before I even
the story, I remember she was like, I guarantee you
mine's worse. And I was like, okay, well this is
what happened. And she was like, no, this is what
happened to me, and her story was like nothing like mine.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
I was like okay, yeah, it's like okay, then.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
Like why are we compairing like people hurting their feelings?
Like we don't need to. No, I just share your
story and where we both can like commiserate over it
or something. I don't know, I agree.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Are they talk about you behind your back?

Speaker 5 (15:16):
Well, yeah, that's that's obvious. You don't do that.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
After that, this psychologist said, there's ra situations when talking
about someone behind the back may be helpful, like when
they need help. Sure, yeah that makes sense, But if
it's always about talking down to you, then it's obviously
negative sign.

Speaker 5 (15:31):
Yeah. If they're always talking down about you, first of all,
that's not your friend. If they're sticking up for you,
that is your friend.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
They say, when someone else wants what you have, that
could be temptifer than the gossip with you to another
person who may feel the same way. Yeah, that is true.
You never talk trash about somebody that you feel more
confident than ye know what I'm saying, that somebody you
perceive as being lower than you. You rarely talk trash
about them because you believe you're better than they are.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
Yeah, you don't know what I mean, that doesn't make sense.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
They don't celebarate your achievements.

Speaker 5 (15:57):
No, that's an obvious one. Especially if they're your friend
and not like happy for you, then they're just not
your friend.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Because they now hardly worked.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
Yeah hopefully, Yeah, they should be lifting you up.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
If they distance themselves from you, that's a sign they
might be jealous.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
Oh, because they don't want you, and like they're the
sanity anymorecause they're they're envious.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
They say, I seeing the wonderful life you have, or
at least that they perceive you have, is hurtful for
them or reminds them everything they're not.

Speaker 5 (16:22):
I mean, but that's like kind of like that's like,
you know, like the universe's way of like actually like
helping you in the wrong run. Oh, the distancing themselves,
I'm like, oh, I didn't have to do anything, Okay, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:32):
I think that makes sense. They say, jealousy can often
cause communication problems, decrease trust, increase resentment, and create an
unbalanced relationship.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
That's fair.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
I think that's they probably even realize why they're pulling away.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
Yeah, probably not. If they're resentful of you, they probably
don't even realize that they are.

Speaker 4 (16:48):
They're just like, oh, I'm busy, YEA. Sure, they try
to get closer to you. So kind of on the
flip side, this, PhD said, it's easy to feel jealous
when someone is afraid of losing a relationship that's important
to them. This could be a reason why a friend
would actually cling closer and step pulling away when they're jealous.
If they're worry about losing you, it'd be natural for
them to try to stay as closely as possible.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
That's fair, because I feel like some people do move
in on you when they want.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
What you have. Yeah, I mean I've certainly noticed that
when yeah, when things are hot, yeah, like everything's going well,
it's crazy.

Speaker 5 (17:19):
Or they want to be part of your life story.
I had a friend like that who just like was
so invested in like putting herself in my life story,
and she would do it, tell stories about my life
and I was like, you weren't there for any of
that or no.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Well, when I like years ago, I was talking to
somebody but doing the comedy stuff like an agent, I
was like, hey, it be helpful if you booked for
me and we an't think it is basically you said
he didn't think it was worth their investment. I was
when my album went number one flex last October. Crazy
the amount of calls ahead from people like hey, we
would love him, Like, oh, that's funny because I le
I saved the email. Yeah you told me.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
No, Hey you literally did not believe me. Yeah, yeah,
but enjoy the album.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
Yeah, five Stars Please.

Speaker 7 (18:00):
Has some weird at its blame.

Speaker 19 (18:02):
Eric.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
This is intern John in your morning show. Is in
case you listed, Let's.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Go in Ashbourne. Fake name Marie. Good morning. You are
in a tight spot here with asking for a friend.
So you have been with boyfriend for how long?

Speaker 9 (18:19):
About six months?

Speaker 4 (18:20):
Okay? And just based on your DM here, there's been
nothing overtly wrong. You just kind of have a gut
feeling that something might be. Is that fair?

Speaker 16 (18:31):
Yes?

Speaker 12 (18:32):
Yes, I mean things are going good between us, but
you know, he you know, he had a little reputation,
you know when we first you know, when we met.

Speaker 7 (18:41):
I knew, you know, the girls like him, because.

Speaker 12 (18:45):
I mean he fine, of course.

Speaker 7 (18:49):
But yeah, but I just feel, you.

Speaker 12 (18:51):
Know, sometimes he really keeps his phone, you know, it's
always you know, locked or in his pocket, you know.

Speaker 7 (18:58):
And it just feels like, why why are you holding.

Speaker 12 (19:00):
On to it so tight?

Speaker 16 (19:01):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (19:02):
It's making me a little suspicious.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Sure, okay. And so you basically want to go through
his phone, like you want to get in there and
just kind of look around. Is that fair?

Speaker 7 (19:14):
You know, just cruise through.

Speaker 12 (19:15):
You know, just you know, yeah, okay, we'll walk through it,
so see what's going on.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
So let's just say, hypothetically speaking, you got into his phone.
Where are you searching? Are you searching messages? Are you
searching dms?

Speaker 14 (19:29):
Like?

Speaker 4 (19:29):
What's your what'll be your plan attack?

Speaker 12 (19:34):
The first time? We'll go through first TI, I'm going
through tech text message sure, okay first, and then next
I'll probably you know, move to DMS.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Okay, no, and then let me let me ask you this.
Let's say you have you know, fifteen minutes in there.
If you don't find anything, is that gonna be case closed?
Or is your mind going to be he must be
hiding somewhere else, you know.

Speaker 12 (19:58):
If I had my fifteen minutes to check, I would
case close it.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Okay? Can I put you and hold this one second?

Speaker 9 (20:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (20:06):
So what do you do your fake name Marie eight
seven seven nine nine five for six eight one to
call let me go in Kensington. Chrissy, good morning, good morning.
What do you want to say with this girl.

Speaker 20 (20:18):
So six months, six years? If it makes you feel
like you have to go through their phone, that's not
their relationship for you.

Speaker 18 (20:25):
Who wants the second guest?

Speaker 20 (20:27):
Literally every comment, step or word out of that person's
mouth exactly keep going.

Speaker 14 (20:33):
So you're not worth it?

Speaker 4 (20:34):
Yeah, so you're saying, just kind of the cut the
cord there and just move on something else, be.

Speaker 20 (20:39):
Done with it, like who wants to waste You're going
to look back and see how much time you wasted
on something so ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, yeah, I don't disagree. Chrissy, thank you for listening
to have a great day.

Speaker 20 (20:50):
Thanks you guys.

Speaker 12 (20:50):
Bye.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
By Somebody texted in, I've been a situation usually when
you have suspicion most of the time you're right. Went
through Max's husband's phone because he hadn't been normal towards me.
Turns out even talking to so many on dating profile,
Oh my gosh, I mean Jason, good morning, good morning.
What do you want to say?

Speaker 5 (21:07):
My guy?

Speaker 10 (21:10):
I said, don't go through the phone, she feels any suspicion,
it is probably true. But even if she goes through
his phone and he's not hiding anything, then she just
broke his trust, so he's not gonna ever trust her again.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Let me ask you this, Jason, has anybody gone through
your phone?

Speaker 9 (21:26):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (21:27):
Did they find anything?

Speaker 19 (21:31):
So?

Speaker 10 (21:32):
I have multiple people go through my phone. There's times
that they haven't found things and those times that they
found stuff.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Okay, So but I guess the better question, each time
they went through there was something there, Jason. They didn't
necessarily complete the chase.

Speaker 10 (21:46):
Uh, not necessarily. Sometimes they found things that, like before
I got into relationship.

Speaker 9 (21:52):
He's gonna make them even more and secure.

Speaker 7 (21:54):
Sure.

Speaker 8 (21:54):
I feel like if you go through someone's phone, you're
gonna find something, regardless of if it's relevant or not.

Speaker 5 (22:00):
Yeah, for sure, Like did you also give them a
reason to go through your phone?

Speaker 4 (22:04):
For sure? Jason, thank you for listening to Okay, and
it is there. I think I have like sixty thousand
photos on my phone, probably because it's however many photos
of taken over the last yeah, fifteen years having an iPhone,
So there's for sure stuff on there. The eye context
probably looks really bad, but I haven't looked at it.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
And it also just depends on what their their mind
frame is in because if they're going through it looking
for something, they could really create an argument out of
even a coworker just reminding you that you have a
meeting tomorrow. I'm just saying, like it could really be anything,
because I've had friends that have gone through their speer's
phones and I don't agree with what they're mad about.
So like, well, his woman coworker reminded him to do

(22:45):
this for work tomorrow. It'd be a text, which like
I don't know, I don't remember like what the job was,
but sometimes like we send each other text like hey,
just remind her.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
So it's almost got to be like you need to
have smoking gun evidence.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
Yeah. So I just feel like like she's to fight
about that, And I was like, OK, right, that's wild
for sure.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
If you're going to break the trust, Yeah, what you
find as to justify it's so much where they can't
get Maddie went to the phone.

Speaker 5 (23:08):
But I just felt like my friend that moment just
wanted something to fight about because she didn't find anything
except for that, which I just think is not healthy.
So probably don't be with that person.

Speaker 4 (23:18):
Yeah, that makes sense. If you want to do you
an asking for a friend, very simple dms are upen
at y Miss radio or you can always text nine
nine three three eight Mischal.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Here's another moment of broadcast brilliance. On intern Johnny, your
morning show is in case you missed it.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
Fake name Maria, good morning, good morning. First of all,
this person was who to you? This person was my boyfriend, Okayan,
you did what?

Speaker 16 (23:48):
So he was really obsessed with posting photos of his
truck and he posted a photo after he got a
car wash, so it was super shiny, and I saw
the background reflection in his truck and I was I
didn't recognize it.

Speaker 7 (24:03):
So I was actually able to like zoom in and use.

Speaker 16 (24:07):
The background location to drive around an area that I
knew kind of looked like that, and I found him
at another girl's house.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
Name Maria, I mean, good for you. That's fantastic. Yeah yeah,
that's like make you working at the FBI course. Oh yeah,
let me go. Fake name Amanda, good morning.

Speaker 7 (24:32):
Good morning.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
I go l it on me. What you got?

Speaker 7 (24:37):
My best friend at the time, she always had we
share each other's locations and her location was off, and
I was like, what the heck is going on? It
was on a weekend, and I basically he searched her
and found out that she was at the jail, and
so I went and I be on her out.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Now do we know why she was at the jail
for fake Amanda? Is she visiting? Was a resident for
a weekend?

Speaker 7 (25:02):
She was a resident for about forty eight hours?

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Can you say what it was and make the rest
of the show awkward?

Speaker 7 (25:09):
It would make.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
One second fair enough. I appreciate that.

Speaker 5 (25:14):
I never think to do like a case on a friend.
If I couldn't get a hold of them, I'd be
like you dead. No, I probably would case search Kate,
I love you, but I would go in.

Speaker 4 (25:24):
Arlington Shannon, good morning. Hi, Hi Girlidamie, what you got
for us?

Speaker 11 (25:30):
My husband used to be notorious for never answering his phone. Well,
I was home which his big headed children, and I
needed to take a touch with him. He went out
with his friends too. I don't know if y'all know
a place called ben Again, Sure, yeah, And he would
not answer the phone. So I called Ben against asked
for the bar. The bartender answered the phone, and I said,

(25:52):
can you please tell me if there's a guy that
looks like this wearing this with two other people. They
said yes and handed in the phone. My husband dev
ignored his bones again, I bet you.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
And now, Shan, how big headed are the children?

Speaker 11 (26:07):
Well they're considerably older now, but they still.

Speaker 5 (26:10):
Have big closed down them. All right, I think so,
kid for a bunch of restaurants. I realized I said
that last week in Stafford.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
Megan, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 9 (26:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (26:29):
I was talking to a guy on Tinder and the
vibes were kind of all. He had sent me a
picture right around Christmas time of his Christmas tree, and
I zoomed in and I was able to see the
last name on the tree, skirt and stockings. With that picture,
I was able to find his name, his address, and

(26:51):
also find out that he had been arrested for things
that I don't consider Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
Apparently yeah yeah, so it says in the screen too,
So he was using a fake name.

Speaker 8 (27:07):
Yes, oh that's also right. Yeah, he was using a
fake name the whole time. Yet he sent me this
picture with his stockings and his last name on the
tree stirt.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Yeah, wow, Christmas? All right, Megan, One second you're on
the running. To me, that's just a lot of work,
do you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (27:23):
It doesn't take that. Oh do you use a fake name?
I was going to say, because I like, yeah, but
I like Google image shirt searched this guy's picture years
ago and then it came up to his mom's uh
doctor like her doctor practice, her holistic doctor stuff, because
she had used like the same picture and cropped then
he had cropped her out of it. And then I
found out that the guy was in the relationship. I

(27:43):
found his Facebook, so, m h, but a fake name.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Lucy Goodmarning.

Speaker 19 (27:50):
Hi.

Speaker 22 (27:50):
Yeah. So for me, I was big this guy for
a couple of months and kind of got a hint
that maybe I wasn't the only one because he called
me someone else's name. Yeah, And so I went onto
his Twitter like and saw that then he liked a

(28:11):
post that was like happy anniversary, love.

Speaker 23 (28:14):
You forever and obviously while we were dating, and so
then I realize, like, oh.

Speaker 16 (28:21):
I'm the mistress.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
Here, so when you can find him faith ding Lucy,
did he own up to it?

Speaker 7 (28:30):
No?

Speaker 23 (28:30):
She then was like, well, we're not actually dating, and
I was like, you've met your entire family. I text
your brother like we're dating, Like what are you talking about?

Speaker 7 (28:41):
Like, yeah, you say you love me stuff like that.

Speaker 23 (28:44):
Like I was like, uh, I mean, you could call
whatever you want.

Speaker 7 (28:47):
But you're saying I love you and I've met and
had dinner with your parents.

Speaker 4 (28:52):
But faked, Lucy, just between you and I real quick.
I mean, just because a guy says he loves you
and he is a future with you, and he wants
to hold your hands, and he met his family and
he celebrates big things, that doesn't mean you're in a
committed relationship.

Speaker 5 (29:05):
It doesn't, no, of course I assume that.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Yeah, I mean, thank you, Lucy. You sound a bit crazy,
Like that's kind of crazy, I mean, and like maybe
he calls you the future misses whatever and you guys
talked to aut getting married, But like that doesn't mean
kind of dropping at conclusions, you know, no of course,
Oh yeah, no doubt, Yeah, no doubt. Thank you, Lucy.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
One second, it wasn't even busy. He was just like
really stressed about his job that he's half for ten years,
like the career path that he's not up, and.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
Like to my fellas, there's nothing worse than when you're
talking to some chick, right, and you give her a
gift your anniversary and she thinks you're dating. It's like, no, oh,
we can't. Can't have a friend aniversary romantically making out crazy? Yeah,
you're crazy, dude. Yes, And if you think I'm being serious,
that's more on you than it's on me.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
The I realized I have so many stories I can't
I really did?

Speaker 4 (29:56):
I realize You've had plenty of stories too, U nine
three three eight.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Text looks like a podcast for people that don't listen
to podcasts.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
Intern John in your morning show, Yeah, Jase, you missed it.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
Second date update Interns John in your morning show. You're
dating somebody. You think there's a vibe, and then all
of a sudden they stop talking to you. We try
to see exactly what is going on. Candace or Candy?
Good morning, Sue a question. So, for the sake of this,
does Tim know you as Candas or Candy? Because this

(30:27):
so we.

Speaker 8 (30:28):
Can Yeah, yeah, so he knows I'm Candace, gotcha?

Speaker 4 (30:33):
Okay, So I call you Candace. So Candace, you first
met Tim about how long ago?

Speaker 12 (30:40):
About two weeks ago?

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Okay? And you guys mashed on app? Which app was it?

Speaker 5 (30:47):
It was Rya up.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
Yeah, and so Riya is an app that was kind
of started off like I think for celebrity Yeah, people
have like prominence, but it's supposed to like the exclusive
yeah app, and I think like Ben Affleck had a
profile on there. I avoided at.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
One point approved.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Well anyway, So so Candace, you matched with tim on
Riah who reached out to who first? And how do
things progress in the app?

Speaker 12 (31:14):
So yeah, we.

Speaker 24 (31:15):
Met on Riya and he reached out to me first,
and we started you know, texting and talking and everything
was great actually, like I.

Speaker 21 (31:26):
Thought, you know, we had a great Crimis chemistry.

Speaker 24 (31:29):
We went out of dinner downtown at a great restaurant,
like he was super attended in genermal you know, like
he owned he owned business and you know, I think
he's very you know, a stable financially and everything was great,

(31:52):
like stays for everything.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Well, you mentioned in your email your first date he
had you pick.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
Did you feel like that was like not romantic or
did you find that's a positive?

Speaker 17 (32:09):
No?

Speaker 24 (32:09):
I mean no, like I have no problem with that,
Like I thought that was Yeah, I was that was
a great gesture, you know, like it was fine.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
Okay, So you guys do dinner. Dinner is fantastic. He
sends you an uber very nice.

Speaker 9 (32:23):
Yeah yeah, and then yeah, like we said goodbye, like
we didn't kiss, like just.

Speaker 24 (32:31):
On the chick and then I haven't heard from it.

Speaker 7 (32:35):
Okay, I don't know what.

Speaker 9 (32:38):
Could you know?

Speaker 1 (32:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 12 (32:41):
I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Sure? And that was almost two weeks ago, yes, okay,
And since then we tried to call him, text him,
no response. Yes, let's do this. Let me call and
get him on the line with us, because I'd be
curious to It is interesting him letting you I shouldn't
say him letting you pick. But because I've heard from
a lot of my female friends they before the guys

(33:04):
say this place this time. Yeah you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (33:08):
I do feel like a lot of time they kind
of were like, oh, you decides that they know that
you'll like the place, so I did.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
It didn't feel like he was passing the buck to you, Candice.
I felt like he wanted your genuine opinion of where
to go. Yeah right, all right, that's sair alright, So
let me check him on real quick. Hello, I calling

(33:38):
for Tim, Please, this is a man. It's the interns Gihon.
I got Sauce and Rose here as well. If we
talked to you on the show, real quick, I see
like a minute of your time.

Speaker 9 (33:51):
I'm on the show.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
Yeah, be like real quick, I see like a minute
of your time.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Okay, So we're doing a second date update. I got
somebody on the other line here. Can you just if
you want to say hello, Candace, you want to there.
It is nailed it, absolutely nailed it. And so Tim
Candie reached out to us. She told us you guys
matched on Rayah, that you guys had dinner date about
two weeks ago. Everything was fine and lovely, but she

(34:20):
is not her from you since so we're just trying
to see where your head's at. Uh yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (34:29):
She's just kind of I don't know how honest.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
She's being and kind of through me in what regard.

Speaker 18 (34:38):
So she's a barista, right, which is cool. She's like
I saw that in her dating profile, but like, if
you look at her social media, she's got.

Speaker 9 (34:47):
All these crazy trips didn't like.

Speaker 18 (34:49):
Thailand and India and Dubai like all over the place,
and I I'm just like, how does she afford that?

Speaker 19 (34:55):
You know what?

Speaker 9 (34:55):
I mean, Barista can't. They don't make that much.

Speaker 11 (34:58):
Money, and so I don't know who paid for.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
It, and so I don't know. I feel like she's
maybe not.

Speaker 15 (35:04):
Telling me something like if someone buying these trips, does
she do something else?

Speaker 12 (35:08):
You know?

Speaker 9 (35:08):
It just kind of felt sketchy.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
Okay, So just so I understand, and no sham and
against barisas but you you saw on her Instagram that
she's got these lavish trips and you kind of backed
off because you think she paid for them. Yeah, it
just kind of opens the door to a lot of
other questions, like she didn't pay for it?

Speaker 10 (35:29):
Who is?

Speaker 7 (35:30):
And why is she feel weird about it?

Speaker 12 (35:31):
I just don't.

Speaker 5 (35:34):
Flag the questions.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
See the question. I guess then Candace, did did you
pay for the trips that got?

Speaker 14 (35:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 19 (35:45):
But like I don't.

Speaker 24 (35:46):
I don't get it, Like you shouldn't mind who pays
for my trip?

Speaker 4 (35:50):
Before I started dating?

Speaker 5 (35:51):
Yeah, yeah, like and I have.

Speaker 14 (35:56):
I mean I don't have to extremely.

Speaker 16 (35:59):
For my trips like I have.

Speaker 4 (36:05):
Tim Would it matter if somebody I'll just say that
somebody read a blank check for a trip. Would that
matter if you guys aren't dating?

Speaker 18 (36:17):
I mean, it just kind of makes me hesitate to
date because then I'm like, who who do you owe
something to?

Speaker 9 (36:24):
You know, like, are you working for someone?

Speaker 4 (36:28):
I just don't let me. Let me have this. I'm
gonna put you guys in hold. Are you team Candice
or team Tim? You can go here, you can.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
Go get caught up with intern John in your morning
shows in case you missed it.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
According to your relationship experts, these are the things you're
supposed to do after a breakup, so you don't keep
going back to people who remind you of your ex.
I feel like everybody has that friend where it's like
this is the carbon copy of the previous five Yeah,
and then it's the same ending. It's this, it's like
Dizzy remakes, it's the same movie.

Speaker 5 (36:58):
My friend Nicole was very honest with me as just
like your issue is you don't go for like actual
mature men that are driven. You just go for men
that need help. It was like, whoa kay be nice.
Hey it hurts, you're right, but stop it.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
Yeah, yeah, I think that's fair. Yeah, starting with uh,
let missing them co exist and moving on. So they say,
when you spend a lot of time in relationship with
somebody and abruptly ends, it's almost inevitable you miss in
some degree.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
Sure, even the most toxic relationships tend to look better
after the fact.

Speaker 5 (37:30):
Yeah, because he's always like a romanticized relationship, even though
maybe even before a breakup you knew that there were
so many problems and that wasn't the person for you.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
Yeah, when they say it's okay to miss someone and
still know they weren't right for you, Yeah, I think
that's it's deep.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
It does.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
Yeah, that you can they can still be a good person.

Speaker 5 (37:47):
It just wasn't just wasn't for you, and that's okay.

Speaker 4 (37:49):
That's it's Yeah, that's kind of is what it is,
uh to the next one, choose truth over fantasy.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
Yes, I think that everyone when they I don't care
who you are for the most part. I think a
lot of people when they go through breakups, they either
romanticize it or they act like it was a lot
worse than it was. Yeah, And there's really not a
lot of people I've seen go through breakups where there's
an in between where there's like realistic about it.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
So you got stap, Well, you're spot on this. They say,
don't let rose colored glasses. This guy's reality our minds
are basically movie editors when we're heartbroken, cutting all the
painful parts and stitching together beautiful highlight of what could
have been. Yeah, but they say nostalgia is a liar
with a great aesthetic.

Speaker 5 (38:27):
Yeamn it is, though, because even my ex boyfriend was
an awful human being, my only ex that was awful.
The rest were like, fine, we just didn't work out.
But yeah, I think when we broke up, I was
definitely romanticizing what we had, even though he was a
terrible person.

Speaker 4 (38:40):
Well, I think everybody does that. Yeah, and that's like
the yeah, it's like, hey, but you told me all
the bad stuff. Well yeah, but they only cheat twice, okay,
but that any times too many?

Speaker 1 (38:47):
Too many?

Speaker 13 (38:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (38:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Yeah. They say, don't let it mean you're unlovable. Yeah,
they say their limitations are not a reflection of your worth. Yeah,
you were always enough, look at that.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
Yeah, especially because I think a lot of people, and
not just even with breakups, but when they get rejected
with dating in general, they kind of feel like that
means that they're just like not a lovable person. So
don't let that get you down.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
How many you are? This means one of the biggest
ones as far as uh with the X stop chasing closure.

Speaker 5 (39:16):
Oh yeah, yeah, because you always want to.

Speaker 4 (39:18):
Know why, and I've always uh, I've guess come to
realize too that the other person probably doesn't really know. Yeah,
you know what I mean, Like you're never gonna get
that closure like in the movie where it's like perfect ending,
no need for a sequel, all our questions were answered.
This doesn't happen.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
Because even when I started dating after I was in
like backpack relationships for years, and then if the dating
process with certain people didn't work out, I always wanted
to understand it better and then I realize why. Yeah,
Like it's like, you know, I don't know when they
see their way out of your life, Like that's a
blessing in disguise.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
When they say closures often code for I want them
to give me peace.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
Yes it is, and that's not really going to do
anything because they're probably just gonna lie to you. Yeah,
that's all you're giving them the power, Yeah for sure.

Speaker 4 (39:59):
Yeah, they waiting for them to explain themselves might keep
you sucking limbo. Imagine conversations you'll never have.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
Yeah, so that hurts, I mean, right, but it's sure, though,
you got to just move on.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
Because it's like I know, like, well it all makes sense,
like now it's not. That's just kind of like.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
Because I've been like dating people where I could just
tell that they were starting to like kind of head out,
So I'll I've just ended it, and then I just
make it up in my head would happen. I'm like, oh,
I ended it because we were just weren't weren't compatible.
Sure they should to go with therapy, like I don't know,
like they need to work on themselves.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
The next thing is disrupt the spiral instead of what
did that miss? That overreacts? I stayed silent, YadA YadA,
Utilize grounding practices, go for a walk, practice breathing exercises.
Obsessing isn't the same as.

Speaker 5 (40:40):
Processing, Yes it isn't. And go outside touch some grass
for sure.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
Yeah, it's crazy with the mind, like even like like
when Chew we passed, like my mind was like I
could have done more yacht and like that spiral would
start and then I had to like stop, like there's
literally nothing more that could have happened, like stop, But
it is crazy, like if you let your mind roll
at that snowball gets bigger and begger and bigger and begger.

Speaker 5 (41:01):
This is probably super toxic, but I've always told my
friends this. I probably even told you this, John. I
always like fake being happy when I'm going through something sad.
So then my brain like kind of gaslights itself. Yeah, yeah,
that's yeah, and it works. So I'm like, oh my god,
I'm so happy right now. Look at me romanticizing my life, sarn,
I'm happy again.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Just the good stuff.

Speaker 14 (41:21):
This is injured John and your Morning shows in case
you missed it.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
Fake name Lisa, good morning, good morning. I go your confession.
What do you have for us?

Speaker 1 (41:32):
So?

Speaker 14 (41:33):
I have four children of my own and i'mselle having
kids and tears back. But my brother and his wife
did not have any. So they reached out to me.

Speaker 7 (41:43):
And asked if I would possibly carry their baby.

Speaker 14 (41:46):
And be they're very good. Wow, yes, and I agreed,
And I just found out about a half an hour
ago that I am pregnant. Yes, but they don't know
yet because I can't it all over that.

Speaker 7 (42:00):
I think they're sleeping still.

Speaker 5 (42:02):
That's a mask.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
A wow, that's that's crazy. I do know you did
that even that's like yeah, health but like that's that's crazy.
That's amazing. So so we just found out do we
know when we're due roughly?

Speaker 14 (42:18):
Well no, so I'll have the obviously. Well so you
just find out you're pregnant and the only reason they
actually let reach out to you is because of the
whole stey and the implication process. But but yeah, so
once I go to the doctors, that's when they'll you know,
well the last menstural and uh, you know, figure out
that dating all that.

Speaker 4 (42:39):
That's amazing. Okaysa second, that's so cool. Let me go
fake name Amanda, good morning, Good morning. Your confashion involves
a friend. What's going on?

Speaker 7 (42:51):
They're dating a woman celebrity and they don't know that
I know that they're dating them?

Speaker 4 (42:55):
How well, no, are we talking about.

Speaker 7 (42:59):
They're popular country music person?

Speaker 4 (43:01):
Okay you know the text. You don't say, how do
you know that they're dating this person?

Speaker 7 (43:09):
So they started going on a lot of trips and stuff,
and they weren't really in like the profession to be
able to afford that, and I was kind of confused,
and they were going out a lot, and I started
looking at their Instagram and then she was like tagging
certain things in it and it kind of pointed me
in that direction, and then their social media post kind

(43:31):
of matched.

Speaker 9 (43:32):
What she was doing.

Speaker 4 (43:33):
How would they how would they have met each other?
Because he is a huge starge.

Speaker 5 (43:37):
Yeah, I have no idea, to be quite.

Speaker 7 (43:43):
Honest, I mean, I plan don't want to ask her
about it because I don't know. It's just it's getting weird.

Speaker 4 (43:48):
So not to sound shallow, but because your friend Paul
a major country star, Oh yeah, a big time Okay
did she local?

Speaker 19 (44:00):
No?

Speaker 7 (44:01):
Not anymore?

Speaker 4 (44:01):
Does she? Where does she live?

Speaker 13 (44:04):
Ah?

Speaker 4 (44:05):
But maybe it's if it's Nashville.

Speaker 5 (44:07):
That makes sense that every country artists lives in Nashville.

Speaker 7 (44:13):
I guess she concluded Midwest.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
Okay, that's so we'll take Nashville and Nashville. Okay, the
second running. Wet's say that's an out name. I mean
countries in Nashville.

Speaker 5 (44:22):
A lot of my friends are musicians live in Nashville,
country or not.

Speaker 4 (44:26):
Fake names, Sarah, good morning, good morning. We don't judge
fake names, Sarah, your confashion? What do you got for us?

Speaker 19 (44:34):
I was at the Oriels and nash game the other day,
and because there's no bathrooms in metrosas I to him,
that had to hide in the bathroom trying to drive
them very embarrassing.

Speaker 5 (44:47):
Literally, they do have bathrooms. You just have to ask,
like the manager, like the station guy. Did they just
run a me in them last year?

Speaker 4 (44:55):
Yeah? All of them? Okay, so every.

Speaker 5 (45:00):
Now knows they really do. You just have to ask
the person, and they are obligated to show you where
the bathroom is.

Speaker 4 (45:04):
I know that was a big controversy for a while
because people didn't know. And then yeah, I mean, Metro
sucks for every reason.

Speaker 5 (45:10):
But I think they don't like advertise it so people
don't make them disgusting, and then they have to literally
show you where it is.

Speaker 4 (45:16):
But then you wonder why Metro sucks.

Speaker 5 (45:17):
I don't disagree. I'm just telling people that you that
there are so that you don't have what happens to you,
And I'm so sorry that happens to you.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
So fake name Sarah. How long we're in the bathroom
for It's like a long time.

Speaker 19 (45:27):
I don't know, like thirty minutes. Poor boyfriend was standing
outside like what.

Speaker 7 (45:32):
Can I do for you? But yeah, that's one of
the things. But at least now everybody knows that there's
bathrooms and met.

Speaker 4 (45:39):
Not your father though, I feel like, yeah is horrible.
Yeah they are. That's that's fair, Okay, fake name Sarah
one second All the Morning, Yeah that is. I remember
reading artcle about that where it's like, did you know
there's bathrooms on Metro And it's like, huh yeah, why
would you not?

Speaker 5 (45:52):
Okay, but it's probably they probably don't advertise it because
we can't have nice things like humans have made it
very parent that they don't. They're great and bathroom rooms
like I mean, like some of the bathrooms that you've
been there, it's like you're adults here.
