Speaker 1 (00:00):
In turn John and your morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Happy Friday, Friends, Welcome to the show. My name is
intern John Sauce. Hello, Hello Rose, Hello, Hi. Eric's in
the back putting in the back savera as well. Nine
ninety three three eight text DMS open at WYMUS Radio.
I know we're just coming off of a holiday weekend.
But this study came out finding the perfect vacation if

(00:23):
you had a guest, Sauce, how many days does the
perfect vacation last?

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Maybe seven or eight? Did you have like time to
travel there, get situated, get comfortable with your surroundings, and
actually relax. But you're actually really disconnecting on this vacation.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
You got to get vacation mode.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah. I think that's fair and sometimes hard to turn
off your brain from work one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Rose, how about you.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
I'm going to say the vacation itself is five days,
but you have the weekend to kind of recover. It's
like seven total, seven totally. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
So they're saying, according to the research, the perfect vacation
lasts eleven days, you can do it.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I don't agree with that.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
They also say it's about three hours away from home
because that way you do feel like I'm away. Yeah,
I can't turn around and go back. Yeah, nobody can
call me to the office. I thought about, like, would
be nice to live closer to work. Yes, However, if
people knew that, like, hey, keep coming back to the
you're some road. Yeah, but I'm out of the office,
so they said. They also the perfect trip would cost

(01:24):
an average of eight thousand dollars per person, they say it,
which seems high and in less than includes a three
hour flight. Uh, they say, even then, you're treating yourself.
I mean, I suppose if you're going somewhere for eleven
days and you're staying in hotel, right, and like that
hotel is two hundred dollars a night average, that's two
grand right there.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, you know, are you splitting it?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
But they're saying for one person, it's like in Ja.
They say, sixty three percent people want to go somewhere
with the beach, Yeah, that's there, fifty three want to
enjoy the great outdoors, yeah, forty three percent one to
explore major cities or historical locations. Yeah, and then thirty
one are sent like outdoor attractions and landmarks. That makes sense,
not the worst. When you go to the landmark or attraction,
and you go, oh, it's just like the.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Press card there. It is all right, check that box.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Times Square at night.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Eh.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
But like walking there to the radio show in the morning,
that's pretty cool because it's empty. But it's like, oh,
it's exactly like the photos. Yeah, there is intern John
in the morning.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Show, Intern John in your morning show. That's true on iHeartRadio,
