Speaker 1 (00:02):
Everything celebrity sauce has her entertainment apart what you got
for us.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
So, the fourth week of the Sean Diddycomb's trafficking trial
started and the witness Mia was on her third day
on the witness stand. She actually rapped us today, but
basically she was his assistant for about eight years. And
Mia testified that Diddy had been physically and emotionally abusive
with her, and she said that she felt brainwashed when
she worked for him. There's a lot of quotes and
(00:28):
a lot of things she talked about that we're not
going to get into. But also an employee of the
Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles also testified under oath, so
her name is Sylvia Oakin. It said that Diddy checked
into the hotel under fake names like Frank Black or
Philip Pines, and after several days at the hotel, Diddy
was charged for damage beyond what we normally clean, is
what she said. One time he paid three hundred dollars
(00:48):
to clean a drape and then also he was charged
five hundred dollars for oil damage in the bedroom or sorry,
in the hotel room. But yeah, I'll keep you updated.
Not a ton out yesterday. But again they're just wrapping
up day three of Mia still being on the stand
and Billy McFarlane is still attempting to revive Firefest and
(01:09):
this is like kind of not necessarily a fest. It's
a new event in the Caribbean. It's the Fire Fire
Coral View pop up in Utilla. So it's going to
take place September third to the tenth, and it's in Honduras.
Basically it's a small and developed island. And there's statemail
on the website that says, afternoons broke a few weeks
ago that we were putting the fire ip up for sale,
(01:30):
we got a message a small beach resort on the
island of Utilla, Honduras had seen the headlines and they
got the idea they were tapped to. They have tapped
fire to bring global attention to this off the map
gym well a.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
Quense recap real quick. So was like six years ago
Fire Festival ones happened, he twice seventeen. He goes to jail, Yes,
gets out of jail, announces Fire Festival two is happening.
I'll go It's definitely gonna happen. It gets closer, No artists.
He goes on TV, he goes big artists. Yeah. Then
the place he'sposted have it. They go, hey, we have
no idea the hell he's talking about. Yeah, so they
(02:03):
go somewhere else. That place goes, hey, we also don't know,
and he sells it and now it's back. Yes, I
mean sold.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Last weekend was when Firefess two is supposed to happen
in Mexico. That obviously did not happen. They said four
weeks before that event that it was not happening. The
hotel packages for fire Hotel, I guess we can call
it if you're seeing for a single person, it's a
dollar it's one hundred and ninety nine dollars a day
for a room. But the rooms do house two people,
but they are doing it by person. But a total
(02:35):
week long stay. They're saying, if your single would be
one thousand, four hundred dollars including the packages, our daybook, excursions, snorkeling,
each fitness sessions, kayaking. I'll understand because that's not a
lot of money for all that.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Also, Tony theft, you get robbed, Yeah, somebody beats you up.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
So also the promoter that's putting on this event with
Billy Is, saying that they have not secured any talent
yet and that the festival won't have a large budget
or splashy lineup. There's going to be exclusive surprise moments, though,
Cards declined if you want to go, yeah, we also
don't know what ticket it's gone sales. They haven't enough
yet soundtails anyway. Mark Hamill has confirmed that he has
(03:13):
no plans to return as Luke Skywalker in future Star
Wars projects, not even as a Force Ghost. He said
that he's had his time and that he's appreciated of it.
But basically his comments come after Lucasfilm is working on
a film centered on Daily Ridley's ray and it's said
after the Rice of Skywalker and that film will file
a low raised efforts to rebuild the Jedi Order based
(03:33):
on Luke's teachings, and he said that he's just he's
done enough.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
So well yeah, and yeah, that's last movie. Horrendous. Hey
you said it.
Speaker 2 (03:42):

This is kind of crazy. There's this new trend in
China where people are paying to pretend they have jobs. Okay,
so obviously the job market not necessarily great anywhere, people
(04:21):
looking for jobs become a headache. So instead of explaining
to folks what's going on, they're paying for fake jobs.
We actually talked to them yesterday with Secrets where her
friend had been laid off and not working for like
months and pretends to have a job, which is kind
of crazy. So for a daily fee between four to
seven bucks, there's companies in China that you can pay.
(04:43):
They offer desks, Wi Fi, coffee, lunch, and atmosphere that
mimics any work environment. So this way you can a
lot of people that you're actually going into the office
and doing work. So that's just the base feed. There's
also fictitious tasks are assigned from like fake bosses, even
(05:04):
organized for a fee, you can you can pretend to
be a manager with your own office to even stage
a rebellion against superior. That is just wid trying to
be wild and sometimes dude, like, that's just crazy.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
But why would you, I don't know, why would you
want to hold onto a lie that you're already wrapped
up in that much that you're lily paying to make
it even more a reality for you, and that's just
not good for your mental health.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yeah, So they talked to this woman who didn't want
to give her full name, but tired of traveling and
pressures of the financial world, she resigned from her job
in the spring of twenty twenty four. She told this newspaper,
I was looking for more stable life, but she doesn't
want to tell her family the truth. Okay, at first
she went to libraries, but for the past few months
to pay a monthly fee at fifty five dollars for
a comfortable space to spend the day. It's much cheaper
(05:50):
to spenty hours in a cafe, so she does that.
I guess like when you go into these businesses, it's
it kind of looks like it looks like a fake business. Yeah,
people pretending that we'll be working, they sit their chairs
and just kind of relax. So it's kind of like
adult daycare for a day.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Is it kind of like we work but not.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah, I mean that's the idea. But yeah, I guess
that's probably good way of putting the two. But legit,
there's no work going on. Wild I wouldn't. Also, how
are you affording fifty five dollars a day to not
do anything making money?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
But also it's like you're in a club of people
just deceiving people. Yeah, that's weird.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
So uh, there you go. That's uh, we'll see that
comes here, I suppose. I mean, I guess Eric does that.
He comes to work and pretends to work, So it's
kind of like a similar thing but different. Yeah, let
me get to this next. Speaking of money, you can
get paid thousands of dollars to eat this intern John
in your morning show. That's true on iHeartRadio.
