police force expires on Wednesday, though the National Guard will
remain in the city until November thirtieth. Sorry, do you
want to let you know that Congress hasn't moved to
renew Trump's emergency order that put the Metropolitan Police Department
under federal control, and the President has not pushed for
an extension either. They are saying DC residents and tours
likely won't see much difference on the streets, as DC police,

National Guard, and federal officers will continue patrolling. So The
Virginia Department of Transportation is warning DC area drivers about
weekend roadwork that could slow traffic. This is not what
you want here. V DOT is planning lane and ram
closures on four ninety five North between Leesburg Pike and
the George Washington Memorial Parkway.

Triple lane closures are expected to begin around nine o'clock
tonight and will be in place again tomorrow night. Ramp

throwing a birthday party for Chinese giant panda shing Bow.
So excited. So this is a female panda. She turned

four years old today, so happy birthday. The zoo is
planning a public celebration this morning, including a birthday cake
made of fruit, which we saw. There was a birthday
party like a couple of months ago for the male panda,
So I love that. The event will also be live stream,
so if you can't make it there, you can still
watch it. It's on the Smithsonian National Zoo website.

other cool thing about Tuesday yesterday. So I've been coaching
hockey at George Shape. I think this is year nine.

I understand why teachers love what they do, because it's
cool to see kids and me as teenagers become adults.
One of the kids for my first graduating class came
so like year one. He was a senior and now
he's out twenty six, twenty seven. He's taught to I
was like, who is this, honey? Oh, and.

He saw us.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Was always on my favorite kids because I always said
he was too smart for his own good. Yeah, Like
he did say that he was the kid that he
would say something and it would be so smart and funny,
had to look the other way. Like we would. We
would watch game from a game. Remember one game we
play like ass the entire game. I pull up the
game film and he's waving to the camera in the game.
I couldn't help but smile. I was like, you jackass.

But he's like an adult. Now he's got an app
that he's working on for it's like to help a
suicide prevention, which is crazy. Yeah, so I was like,
oh my god, look at you being.

Like a little man.

Yeah, productive human. It was. It was very It was
very cool. Him and another kid that played came out
and said.

He was really excited to see you too, because I
was like, why is he talking to Dawn on me?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Well, he also went viral on TikTok a couple of
years ago. Yeah, he was never like an influencer, but
like he's like, yeah, he's just a very funny kid.
I remember once he was getting a lot of penalties
as a senior guys. I said, hey, you know, Tom,
if you remark good to us, if you're on the ice,
US coach us a good point. I was like, thank you. Yeah. Anyway,
