Speaker 1 (00:00):
Turn in your morning shows and a happy Monday friend.
Appreciate you hanging out internshon in your morning show. Huge
show today, war the Rose is coming. Plus we'll get
you into our DC jingle Ball presented by Capitol One.
You can I get what's left of tickets if there
is anything hot and Ida five dot com slash shingle

(00:21):
Ball wanted this to to start your day off. They
put out the top trends for the holiday season, according
to Etsy. Okay, according to Etsy Nona, holiday is gonna
be big shandling the Italian Grandma. Yes, crocheted dollies, embroidered
linen's red accents in old world lampshades.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Not even sure what that means.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Okay, they say this trend stirs up warm, nostalgic charm,
perfect for anyone who thinks loving carbs are the best
gifts of all and they are.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
They really are that.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Supper clubs Okay, they're saying, Yeah, dinner parties are cool again.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Hey that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yah, I don't call them supper club now, that's old. Yeah,
they say, give statements silverware glassware sets, but which you
guess is twelve times more popular this year, like serving
stuff interesting, sure, playhouse, they say, think dopamine decor with
a pastel twist, bright colors, cartoonish shapes, nostalgic accessories make

(01:23):
this the ultimate trend for those who never outgrew playtime us.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yeah, Yeah, Nutcracker core gonna be huge this holiday season.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Dude.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Nutcrackers are already everywhere.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I think nutcrackers are more mainstream though too. I think
they're kind of around that, kind of like a vibe
they're saying. Jewel tones reigned supreme here with ruby Emerald
and gold Galoreyes, pure holiday drama, completely sparkling tableware and
classic nutcracker flare.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Yeah, there's just something about it. Even Charlie loves the nutcrackers. Well,
she's she's like, these are so.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Cool and God bless my mother.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
She grew up with just sisters and so my brother
and I were a shock to the system. So like
she learned pretty quickly put things out of reach of
us and still does just as kids kids like, as
a kid see a nutcracker and you can't play with them,
but that's a toy. I know, a toy that's a toy.
Golf mess will be big. So the dark holiday trend.

(02:21):
Oh yeah, but that's a weird combines black lace and
antique accents and candle a mystery.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Those per their cheer touch a shadow.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
There we go, and then the last one is Shiver
the season icy meats nauticle in this frosty fantasy featuring
metallic finishes in mystery jewelry jars filled with hidden treasures,
they say. Think of it as a snow globe surprise
and gift form. So interesting. I'm listening to Christmas and
be honest, it's me that's the vibe. So uh, not

(02:53):
my decorate. It's not really my thing. So I love
your thoughts of our text nine ninety three three eight. Guy,
get to this next for your Monday. The red flags
on dating apps. It's intern John in your morning show.
Crack this bad way open, Intern John in your morning show.
I've found the red flags of narcissists on dating apps.
Oh okay, we talking about narcissists like working and like

(03:15):
in your family and like actually dating, but not so
much on the apps. So one of the biggest red flags,
they say, is the nag.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Okay, so we all know negging.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
It's a covert way to kind of like knock somebody down,
they say. Many use nagging as a form of playful teasing.
It often does not translate that way, and is used
by abusers to this orient you and hopes you will
seek their approval.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Gross.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, I can see that, and also like if you
start it right away, like any interaction on a dating
app that way, I just I'm not gonna like you
because it seems like you're a bully.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, they say, watch out for off kilter comments or
backhanding compliments that distract you from visible strengths. For example,
if you're a very attractive woman, a person soon negs
you may insinuate that your makeup is doing all the
work rather than your natural features. Oh yeah, my.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
God, Oh yeah, because especially with like obviously I myself,
I have more makeup on certain pictures as opposed to
other ones. So I have guys to say similar stuff
like that.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
That's a wild Yeah, that's so wild. Okay.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
The next time a narcissist on a dating app numerous
photos with the opposite sex, if they're straight, they say,
I guess so, or even their small children.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I don't really know what that would.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Mean if they have photos of their kids.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Yeah, but what why was that narcissist?

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Okay, they're saying that if they're doing the photos of
their kids, uh, it says as a red flag indicates
he's willing to violate his kids privacy while attempting to
show you he's a good parent.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I good point.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
I have had this conversation with my friends before where
like they saw they have matched with the guy that
had a ton of different pictures with his kids, and
I understand that, but also I wouldn't. I'm not a parent,
so I don't know, but I wouldn't want to be
exposing them like that, especially into like the dating world.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
I think that's the thing.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, I think it's like you put in your bio,
you know, parent, but I would think it's odd if
you're It's almost like I think maybe it's probably double standard.
It feels like it looked less weird if as a
woman doing every kids, but for a dude, I think
you get the double starend.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
If he's pimping his kids out, I feel like that
would happen.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
There can be one picture with the kids, but I've mean,
I've seen it. I haven't really matched with anybody that
I've wanted to go out with. That's why my friends
and I were having this conversation. But if it's every
single picture, I do think that that worries me.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
The one picture almost worries me a little bit. Like,
I I agree, put the parent that you're a parent
in the bio, but like, that's your kid that.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
You're putting out there for the world to see.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
Like it's just like, I'm a little weirdy even doing
it on social media. Like it's just like that that's
like a boundary that you can't uncross, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Put the emoji of their face or something. Yeah, yeah,
that type of vibe. Yeah, I agree with that. I
think they give you preemptive challenges to make you feel
like you have to win their approval.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Narcissists, Oh yeah, if they're like, oh, I don't know.
I've noticed that a lot of guys will be like
oh if you not a lot but like a lot
of guys that I end up wanting to go out with,
we'll do things like, oh, if you haven't done this,
then I don't think that we're gonna be able to
like you know what I mean, Like like I haven't
read a certain book maybe and I'm just like, that's

(06:26):
so stupid.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Like their example is if somebody says you're pretty and all,
but do you actually know how to hold a conversation.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
If you ever said to me, I would on match
with you so.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Fast, Yeah, that'd be a spell put on you. Okay.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
I've never had anyone say that. Yeah, that's not okay.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
They mentioned their exes or previous dates in their bio
or messages, damn it.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
They say.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
It's one thing to continuous close past memories of someone
you know well in conversation, but you should never tell
all right, potential dating partner mentioning an X in your
first few conversations with them, whether it's online or in
real life.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
I personally can can't stand when guys like, we'll bring up, well,
what are you doing here? Why are you? And I
understand that people want to know why you're on the app,
why am I my age and single? Whatever, but when
you bring it up within like the first like five
seconds of the conversation. Also, if they're if I sarcastically
ask it back because I always do a joke like

(07:19):
my dad couldn't afford the dowry or something, And if
they are still trying to talk to me and they're like, yeah,
I'm hear it, because like my ex is such like
a loser and couldn't hold on to what she had. Like,
then I'm gonna match with that. How many guys you
think kind of google what dowry is A lot for sure.
That's so good, that's so good. I just think it's

(07:41):
like the most lazy question. And I know that a
lot of people are going to disagree with that because
a lot of people want to know why you're on
dating apps. But at the end of the day, we're
all there looking for love, and if we're not and
you're just looking for a hookup, then it's going to
be really easy to figure that out.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Can I gave you my favorite one to tell? Ivis
a narcissists on dating app? Okay, they claim they need
a relationship that's drama free, and their bio or their messages, now,
this is what the expert says. I need to say
this for everybody in the back. It's always the no
drama folks in quotations who have the most drama and
chaos in their lives. It's because they themselves create it.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
It's the good vibes only vibes.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
The folks that need to tell you they're no drama.
Who tells you that, Oh, I'm for drama. I want
my life to be miserable. That is the biggest red
flag of all time. Drama free, looking for just drama free,
have no drama? Yeah, is the anybody out here looking for
a bad relationship?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
No?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
No, I want no why I want my relationship drama?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
At times like annoys me when when I'll see, oh,
if you're one of those girls just wants to talk
about brunch and where she shops and swipe left or whatever,
I'm like, it's just so like like.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
The things that interest you, like I don't know, like
your hobbies.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, if you asked you where a Gosh shirt and
gould tell you, not that they would, but still or
you get that shirt. This is from bright Side Bootique.
Look at this is Baltimore on Baltimore, MARYL.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Do you ever go there?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I do do time?

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Do you have one broadcast of the year that's day anyway?

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Fact intern Johnny marsha I thought this was fascinating this
intern John.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
In your morning show, we are the Dog Show?

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Do you know the dogs and more personal that we
do it'd be funny, maybe not be funny, if we
put all the dogs in the show in one room
and just watch them on camera and just see what happens.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
We have we have hurting dogs. I think that's a
terrible like Oh, I think I think Skittles, torment, and
zero together the world.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Might explode it. It just might be. It just might
be that.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
So this dog expert came out with how long can
really leave your pet alone?

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Okay, why would we want to know that?

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Well, well, I think it's good to know in case
like you're like, oh, they'll be fine, I can do
one more Eric versus like, you know, going back. So
he said, it really comes down to your dog's age
and breed.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Makes sense.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Okay, So Corey the expert kind of obvious puppies depend
on us to survive. Yeah, so it makes sense that
when their human companion isn't the round, it makes them
feel worried.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Yeah, that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yeah, because you're.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Basically all out in the world and lately they you see,
drink them. Yes.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
So he says the age your puppy is one indicator
as to how long can leave them alone. For puppies
age two months old, you should avoid leaving them alone
for more than an hour, as they need you around,
not only let them go outside because they have high
emotional needs at this age. That is one of those
things where it's like, if you want to get a dog,
unless you're gonna be home like puppy, probably not.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
The yeah, the way to go.

Speaker 5 (10:36):
When we got Torment, we got him and then a
month later the world toot down because of the pandemic.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Yeah fo yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
He says by four months, how long puppy can stay
home alone can match their age. So four hours okay,
so that makes sense, Yeah, a little bit better. Okay,
after four hours your puppy, you will definitely to go outside.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Makes sense.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
By five months they can hold their bladder for five hours.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Must be nice.

Speaker 6 (11:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
By six months of age, with the right at home training,
they can be alone for about six hours.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
They say these timings are really vitose. Puppies only can
hold their bladders for so long for you to go
inside all those important member that every puppy is different
with regards to how they cope on their own.

Speaker 7 (11:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Now, he also goes over which breeds of dogs are
the worst to leave alone.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Let me go through these.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
I was probably up there because they're small.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Well, it starts a beagle, okay, binggele made the list,
which starts with well, I'm saying to your point, small dog.
So beagle made the list. Say beagles are eager to please,
but they don't come pre programmed to know what right
behavior is. So what's not especially when it comes to
being left home alone, is down to how you show
your beagele to ropes so they become polite, came companion,

(11:47):
hope for it. He says beagles have incredible noses, so
before leaving your pup alone, you can tire them out,
not just their bodies with a little little walk and
also their mind by playing some scent games like a
snuffle mat or find the treat. What's a snuffle mat?
You just like put the scent in there and they
just can't mess around and gets.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Where you like hide the treat.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
They also says that helps produce anxiety.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Oh that's remember, but now my dog skip a skip
a beagle or see uh movie, let me just put
this up of this.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
He actually had like a picture of them with the beagles.
They were like the detectives. Uh oh yeah, skip.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Was he was Jack Russell? Yeah, he has a wishbone.
The same thing.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Good dog to believe it's a greyhound. Okay, opting for
a larger dog of greyhound, one might think this breathes
a lot aarones, requires a lot of attention. Why it's
cruised up a videaly walk fee greyhound pops and allow
them to stretch of the legs. Greyhounds enjoy rest and
relaxing on the sofa. Oh yeah, bad dog to leave alone,
dash hound. Those things are just funny, tho, aren't they
They're cute, there's adorable. But it's like, how do these

(12:51):
things survive in the wild. There's no way. There's there's
no way that they like they had to be not Yeah,
they say, while they're an independent dog may seem like
they don't need you.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
They can suffer with separation anxiety.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
A lot is there for them.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
The chow show is a good dog, they say what
they appear fluffy and cuddly. They typically exhibit a reserve
and self reliant nature. Okay, the last bad Chihuahua because yeah,
well so here's the thing. Chihuahua's her their size have
one of the largest brains among dogs all didn't realize
That makes.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
A lot of sense.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah, so this says they're often prone to separation anxiety.
Consistent early training, how to be home alone and be
critical for these pups, and sure puppy is well fed
before leaving the house. They will also reduce anxiety. That
makes sense because they don't know theyren get food. They
say low blood sugar makes everyone irritable, so make sure
they have full sumachs. Makes sense. It's an intern Johnny

(13:50):
Marks show this Sunday. We want to see you intern
John in your morning shows. Claws Impause, Doggie Halloween Costume

you find yourself changing the way you speak or act

(15:13):
based on who you're with and not just like good
friends versus rug people.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
But just in general?

Speaker 1 (15:18):
Probably?

Speaker 3 (15:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Yeah, I rose, Do you think you do?

Speaker 5 (15:20):
I think as a Gemini were able to mold ourselves. Yeah,
yeah that way.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
I think if we're if I have to go into
like a board meeting with our CEO, I act a
lot different.

Speaker 5 (15:31):
Than I do if we're just well yeah, yeah, I
think everybody.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Yeah, if I'm a meeting where that person can affect
the lives of me, and people around me tend to
be a little more buttoned up.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
So, fourteen percent of people say they often change the
way they speak or act depending on who they're talking to. Yes,
thirty two percents they do it sometimes, twenty seven percent
do it rarely. Twenty three percent claim they never change
who they are. I don't believe.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
I don't believe that either, like that. That just doesn't
even that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
You're saying around your most trusted friend in the world,
you talk the exact same way as you would around
a complete stranger. I don't believe that you're saying offensive things,
but more like lax around them and just I don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Maybe they're just really good people.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Well yeah, maybe, well I do that obviously. Yeah, yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Twenty one percent say others often change how they speak
or act. Okay, I noticed that with friends sometimes.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Yeah, I mean I always say, like my mom, I
mean a lot of people have like their customer service
voice that they just have around certain people, and then
when they're not around them, it's just different. Oh that's
so true. Yeah, So yeah, I don't know. I don't
really believe that.

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Like if you're with a friend and they're like, they're
angry and like a bus going, Hey, how's it going, Tim?

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Yeah? Is it going?

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Julie? Good to see you can find off the phone.
I hate them so much.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
No literally though, but I'm like, I can't. I was
just talking about this like a week ago with one
of my friends. I'm like, God, you have such a
customer service. You voice whenever we go, so like, I
don't remember what it was about. Both you literally do
that and they're like, no, I don't really kiss your
tal they say.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Thirty three percent of people say shiftings mostly a good thing. Yeah,
I think it's survival family.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
I think it's normal.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
You's a g a chameleon.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
You can't be like who you are as a person.
Twenty four seven. I just don't believe it. I don't
care how great a person you are.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
No, yeah, I think that's fair.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Twenty eight percent says mostly a bad thing without love
your thoughts as well.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
It's intern Johnny Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
I'm excited to this. It's intern John in your morning show.
I found though, would you rather questions for couples? I
wanted to do this with us and see everybody falls
in Shelby sauce. Would you rather prefer a companion who
consistently remembers snichickant dates or one who pleasantly surprises you?

Speaker 3 (17:35):
I want to be pleasantly surprised.

Speaker 1 (17:37):
Okay, So like in this particular scenario, surprise over like
birthday or anniversary.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
Yeah, I mean, like you're gonna remember my birthday no
matter what. I'm not worried about that, okay, but you're
going to. And also the I just was like I
like surprises, and I'm so hard to surprise. So like
I would like to be surprised.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Okay, Yeah that's fair, Okay, Rose, Would you either have
a partner who makes the best meals or a partner
who offers the best massages?

Speaker 5 (18:05):
Best meals? I can I can go get a massage
any day. But like, food is my love language, So
if you feed me, I'll love you forever.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Especially like they're the ones that are doing the work.
So that's just so nice.

Speaker 5 (18:17):
Like when Clint cooks a good like a good meal.
I mean all his meals are really good, but like
when he really puts the time and effort into it, Oh,
it's the best. It's the best feeling.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
I love that mine. Would you rather speak all human
languages or be able to communicate with animals?

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Animals? A hydrant tamper sent.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
A couple of questions, I think a couple questions.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
It's honest on the list, Okay, I can, I can
do something else.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
I would be scared to communicate with animals. Do that too,
But I read the human teams are idiots. Yeah, but
I would know what they're saying.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
Hurt my feelings, That's the only thing. Like, but that's me.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
That's what I'm scared of. We talked about this one
so like, I was like, if I could understand what
zero saying, what if I get my feelings hurt? And
then I like, what do I do?

Speaker 8 (19:00):
Well?

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Yeah, well let's go sauce.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Would you rather speak every language with ease or have
a photographic memory?

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Have a photographic memory?

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Doesn't your brother have one? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (19:12):
And I would love that so much, Like they would
make my life maybe, I mean, it definitely would make
my life easier. It's not like the best trait to
ever have, but I think that it's a pretty cool
trait because.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
I feel like you almost don't even know you can
probably still know a languages just memorize, like the the.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Book like that.

Speaker 5 (19:29):
But I feel like language in a book is different
from language and practice.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Sure?

Speaker 9 (19:35):
Rose?

Speaker 2 (19:35):
Would you rather the ability to stop time or turn
it back?

Speaker 5 (19:39):
I think I would like to stop time so I
can savor moments just like longer.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Okay, yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Would I rather have a personal stylist who can only
dress you a one color or a private chef who
can only make your favorite dish? That's a hard one.
Probably the style list, because that's more options versus the chef.
It's the same thing that I could probably figure out
on my own.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
I would love to have a silist though, Oh yeah yeah,
But also if the stilast came with the clothes, do
you know what I mean? Well, yeah, I thought.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
I think most stylist you get in your crowd, I
think they go shopping for you.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
I'm pretty sure you're correct.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Yeah, yeah, okay, Sauce. Would you rather have a world
without film or music?

Speaker 3 (20:25):
A world without film?

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Damn?

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Personally, I love music too much?

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Yeah that's fair, Rose.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Would you rather have the ability to fly or the
capacity to breathe underwater?

Speaker 5 (20:39):
That is really I think I would rather fly because
the ocean kind of terrifies me sometimes that's what the
aliens are. Yeah, yeah, and I feel like if I
could fly, like, I could get to places quicker.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
You know, that'd be really awesome.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
I got.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Would you rather have the ability to read minds or
instantly turn invisible? I would say both, thing I like
and not even the spy. Just nobody knows where I am,
so I can get off the map and literally nobody
knows where to find me. That's always alluring. Ready, minds
would be funny too, though.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
I think too scary. I don't want to read min that's.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
But here's if you had that power, Sauce, we'd all
know right away.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
I'd like, why are you you want to be able
to get tell you really that's not what you're thinking,
so you're lying to me. I would be terrible if
I could read. I just wouldn't like to anyway.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
I think, yeah, that's it'd be especially around here, be
a scary uh thing to see, uh, Sauce. Would you
want to have control over fire or weather? Weather? Because
you're a weather I want to control the weather.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
That'd be so cool.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
And then be a meteorologist so you'll always be right.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
That too.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Sometimes I think Doug Camera tries to be wrong. That's
a joe. He's a friend of the show.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
That's a joke, and he knows that's a joe.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
We love dance some dog. He's one of the greatest.
He isn't Doug just he's just too pretty and too nice?

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Do you know what I mean? You can't you can't
be both? Yeah, pick one, Doug Rose.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Would you rather be accomplished author or well known actor?

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Accomplished author?

Speaker 5 (22:13):
That'd be fun because I feel like actors and celebrities
in general, their lives are like literally all over everything
and you're always invested. But like the authors that I
know and read of, like, I don't know too much
about their lives.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
I just love their books.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
Harry Potter Action, Well, Diablo Cody was she was? She wrote,
she wrote, you know, I think, oh, I'm pretty sure.
Why didn't she cause she was like she was homeless
on this.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
She wrote, you know, I don't know, I've never read that.

Speaker 5 (22:45):
That that's not who wrote Harry Potter's Actors Semie Meyer ones.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
So much is happening right now, I know, I'm very confused.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
I would you rather have the capacity to pause time
or the ability it traveled any place instantly. If I
could travel back in time, I would do that. Sure, yeah,
I would do that. That'd be kind of cool to
go to go see things. I would I would go
back and see how I was in school, to see
if my interpretation of how I was.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
Actually how I was.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
But then I would be like a flash where you
mess up the timeline.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Or be a fly on the wall. When my parents
got call from teacher, hear what they're saying to themselves.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Yeah, what I'm saying that it's intern Johnny Morning.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
So we are just under two months away our DC
jingle Ball presented by Capital One. You can get the
last remaining tickets, if there even are any left. It's
so stinking close. All the info Hot nine five dot
com slash jingle Ball catching cheeters wore the roses on
the way next. Hang on, this is gonna be so
much fun. This Sunday, our first ever clause and pause

(23:50):
Doggie Halloween costume contests happening a Lone Oak Farm Brewing
noon to this Sunday.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
So here's what you're gonna do.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
You can get your dog you don't have a dog,
Get dog before Sunday. Absolutely, give the dog a costume.
Will your dog like the costume? Probably not, but it's
their rent. It's what they owe you the costume. Play
the costume like the costume, like you know, like the costume,
but like, well there is that, there is that, But

(24:19):
then bring them out. The best thing is five hundred
dollars for the first number one winner dog costume. First
may it be two fifty four, second place one hundred
dollars a third place. It all happens this Sunday noon
to two lone Oak Farm Interns, Johnny Morning Shows, Claws
and Pause. The idea was as well, have Eric dress

(24:40):
up like a doggie because he's our little little.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Dog all the he is.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
YMS Radio dot com got War of the Roses coming
in a second. I want to get to this too.
If you're traveling anytime soon, these are the major mistakes
people make when flying, according to the experts, Some of
these more obvious and others. Starting with managing ravel expectations
before you leave.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
Yeah, you got to get in like the travel head
space or you're going to be miserable.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
Especially if you're going with the group h H Expectations
ahead of time, like where are you going to say
if you want to start the day early, you want
to take it slow, what the budget's going to be?
Uh yeah, figuring out when you get there. Unless it's
the best friend you travel with before, I think it's
a disaster.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
I think traveling with the group though. I my advice
is should just let everyone do their own thing, because
you're not all going to follow each other, and you're
going to If you think that way, then you're going
to be miserable.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Putting essentials in your check bag, yeah, I've made that
mistake before.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
Yeah, I always try to put them in my carry on.
Like when I went to the Dominican Republic for my
friend's wedding and I was doing people's bridle makeup. I
put all the makeup in my actual carry on. I
knew for a fact. I was like, if that bag
gets lost, I'm screwed.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:50):
They're saying medication, passport keys, yeah, carry on case your
bag gets lost. Yeah, not charge of your devices.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Oh yeah, you have to, just because you don't know
if depending on what airline you're flying with, you don't
know if it's going to have the plugs on the flight.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Which is worse, or if you get delayed. Yeah, then
like you can't use the plugs at the airport because
they're all whatever. I always charge to even not just
my phone, but like I'll charge my computer because then
I can use that as a battery.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Oh yes, my mothers up. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
Not packing your own snacks, I mean unless you rich
bro for a ten dollars cheese stick Golley yeah, or
like the water it's like fifteen dollars. It is like
I feel bad for the employees because I'll give them
a mean look. I go, it's not your fault, but.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah, you didn't make these prices.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
I got gum and water. I'm paying thirty dollars right now.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
That's why you bring your own bottle.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
But my thing with those are how often do we
think they clean those things?

Speaker 2 (26:40):
The water machines you.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Usually have like a filter, they have a light. Yeah,
but look at the trash at the airport. I mean people,
there's the worst. The worstep at the airport, touching, touching
their people put their mouths on water fountains. Oh yeah, yeah,
somebody puts their wild Yeah yeah. Somebody puts the lid
of their their drink container on accident on the spout
of the water thing. I guarantee you there is a report.

(27:02):
A conversation was that, like the office water machine, what
you want to call it, the water fountain is the
dirtiest place in the office because people's mouths touch their
drinking and they touched the spout and I filled my
water bottle up about at home. Yeah, and that's my
soapbox for a second. The last one is not having
the airlines app on your phone. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
I think mainly EXE, because there's any updates if something
is canceled. Yeah, so I think if you want to
add some nine ninety three three texts. Intern Johnny morn Show.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
More of the roses on Internshohn in your morning show.
You think the person you're with could be the one.
They make you happy. You you the warm fuzzies, but
then some things start happening. They pop up for you
that doesn't quite make sense. We track figure out exactly
what's going on. Alex, good morning, Good morning, and man,
I got your email.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Let's get into this. You and Melissa have been dating
for how long?

Speaker 1 (28:00):
A year and a half.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
All you guys first met in the wild. What happened?

Speaker 6 (28:05):
Yeah, we met at a mutual friends party and started
talking there and then followed up with her a couple
of weeks later, and we've been dating ever since.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
And what about Melissa made her stand out at her
at the party?

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Was she beautiful?

Speaker 6 (28:22):
She has a good personality and we just kind of
clicked immediately, I thought, sure.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
And so you guys have had talks before about you know,
taking the next stab one day. I mean, like, you
guys are planning in the future together. Is that safe
to say? Okay? And so what happened this weekend? That
sky You're thinking something else must be going on.

Speaker 6 (28:46):
So I went out of town for the weekend to
visit my family. And uh, sometimes when I'm gone once
it will help me, you know, bring in packages and stuff.
And I had some meal prep and she aught it in,
which was nice of her, I thought. And then when
I got back to my place, I took a shower

(29:10):
and I looked over on the shower ledge and I
saw some used zin zins.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
You know what I'm talking.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
About, Yeah, like the nicotine pouches in the shower.

Speaker 6 (29:20):
Yeah, like used zin peck It's in the shower. And
I don't use zins. She doesn't use zins.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
That's weird, like a showers, normal thing.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
I'll know.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Do you live by yourself? As probably dumb question, she's
bringing stuff in for you?

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Right, yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (29:38):
Okay, So your thought is you were out of town
for how long? Two and a half days, so you
were on town meal prep came. There is nothing worse
than that happens, because it's like it'll go bad.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
That happens to you, lodge.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
It certainly does, it certainly does. And so you come back.
Was she there when you got back?

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Or now? Okay?

Speaker 1 (30:01):
So you go about your day, go take a shower,
get in the shower. You notice there's like these little
they can be called like pillows, like these little like
nicotine pouches in the shower, which means that like somebody
used them, took them out, and how many were there?

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Would you say? We're there.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
Okay, which means that if I was a betting man,
somebody was there multiple days because he wouldn't just pop
it out and put it back in.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
I've never done it, but I can't imagine a bunch
in the shower.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
No, So let's do let's do this, Alex, because to me,
it seems like that's kind of like a smoking gun
and step calling and doing the roses on her. We'll
call from our country morning show alter ego the Morning
Bull Ride. We'll put her in the secret stallation chamber,
see the last person that she saw without clothes on.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
It'll try to get some answers that way. Okay, okay,
thank you.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
I wore the roses in less than three minutes an
intern Johnny Morning Show wore the roses on intern john
in your morning show, Alex, let me recap this quick.
You Melissa met in the wild at a mutual friend's
birthday party. Thought she was cute, exchange information, got her number,
started dating not too long after that. The reason we're
doing War of the Roses is though you are not

(31:13):
from here. This past weekend, you went home to see
some family. While you're out, he has some packages delivered,
including meal prep stuff, which goes bad. Obviously it's uh,
the weather's not great. So you had your girlfriend Alex
go to your place put some packages away.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
You thought all was good.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
You come home from the trip, go to take a shower,
You realize somebody has left nicotine pouches in your shower,
and if you don't know if those looks like they're
like like little almost like a little piece of gum
almost basically, but you take them out once they're done,
which means that somebody was in your shower, probably multiple
days and leaving those packets there, which is relatively gross.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
That's kind of where we're at. Is that fair?

Speaker 8 (31:56):
Yep?

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Okay, So let's do this in stev calling and trying
to get her some flowers. We'll call from our country
morning show alter ego The Morning Bull Ride, and we'll
play last person to see her naked and see who
she says, and we'll get some answers that way. Okay, okay,
Well one secondment, and by the way, is it's all
gonna work out. Regardless of how this goes, it'll be

(32:17):
better for you in the long run for you.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
Nor he.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
Hi calling from Melissa, Please Melissa, it's tumble if the
Morning Bowl right can put you in holder quick talk
to the show on the air, make see Tom weed

(32:51):
off his knees giving you something again of the weeds.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Oh my goodness, to.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
My left is I'm Shelby.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
I'm getting you in. You get everyone in anywhere is
always open. That thing is that members only, that's anybody
come in and come out.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Do you want to open my barn door?

Speaker 2 (33:05):
By all means the double wide to her ride is.

Speaker 1 (33:09):
Clara now on the phone, very special guests all the
way from the other side of the telephone, Melissa, is
that you. Yes, Melissa, Welcome to the morning bull Ride.
I got some very exciting for you. Melissa. You are
a very special person to us. We got somebody in
our secrets, La Chamber. Now, Melissa, the reason they're in

(33:31):
our secrets, Lacey Chamber is they told us you are
the last person to see them naked. Now, if you
can't identify the person our secrets, laber you and them,
but both win all expense made cruises Jamaica, which, by
the way, this loveliest time me and Melissa. Now, Melissa,
imagine the nice Queen's sun on your skin. Give me

(33:53):
that Viamin d girl as you soak up the rays.
How good does that sound?

Speaker 2 (34:00):
It does?

Speaker 8 (34:01):
It?

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Does that Viamin dl over? You girl?

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Now, Melissa, do you have an idea of who might
be in the seagrass? Now, don't say their name yet,
pray lady. We'll do the countdown. But I just want
to build this up. Do you have an idea of
who it could be? I do yeah, okay, how certain
is you.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Like?

Speaker 4 (34:21):
I'm okay?

Speaker 2 (34:24):
How long ago do you see this person's ham and eggs?

Speaker 4 (34:30):
Not too long ago?

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Okay, okay. On the count of three, you're gonna say
the name Melissa. Okay, here we go.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
One, two, three? Who is it? Melissa?

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Drew?

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Drew? Is that you?

Speaker 1 (34:48):
No?

Speaker 6 (34:48):
It's not?

Speaker 10 (34:49):
Are you me?

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Melissa?

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Are you serious? Well?

Speaker 6 (34:54):
You got sex with your ex boyfriend?

Speaker 4 (34:58):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (34:59):
I can't say most of those worris, but Alex is
that you know who Drew is?

Speaker 6 (35:04):
It's your ex boyfriend who can't read.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
That's not great.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Okay, Melissa, my name's intern John. I got sauce Rose here.
That is your boyfriend, Alex?

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Yeah? Who I think ken read? If you reached out to.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Us, that is true?

Speaker 1 (35:20):
So you why would you need to see your ex
boyfriend naked?

Speaker 4 (35:26):
I love well, but no, I saw.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Drew recently because.

Speaker 8 (35:35):
He came over to fix your shower while you were
gone because it was broken.

Speaker 7 (35:40):
You're almost like the handiest person I know.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Handy or handsy both.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
It sounds like you know they have.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Okay, but but how did you see him naked?

Speaker 4 (35:52):
Though?

Speaker 8 (35:55):
Because he took his clothes off.

Speaker 11 (35:57):
I didn't want him to, but he did.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Oh no, you naked.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
Yeah, that's a good point too. That okay, So Melissa,
I've I've had plumbers come over and in my memory,
none of them have gotten naked to test the shower.
They just turn it on and stand the outside and go, Yep,
it works.

Speaker 11 (36:19):
It's because Drew.

Speaker 4 (36:20):
Drew still has a thing for me. That's why tries.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
So you then you know your ex boyfriend has a
thing for you, you decide all invite them over to
my current boyfriend's place while he's away, knowing that my
ex knows where he's going, and you you're surprised. I,
like I said, he's the He's the one person I
know who can easily fix though, So I just.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Say task grab it and most apartments have maintenance.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
But let's ask the more important question, kids, how do
you know what shower was broken?

Speaker 3 (36:52):
To begin with that too, well, because I was I
was going to use it. You were going, so you
predicted it was no.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
No, So you you were sent to your boyfriend's house
to bring in a package. And then while here, I
might as well shower bring another path absolutely and then
and then that's how you found out and then you
invite up your ex boyfriend, who then got naked in
front of you while he was doing Zin's in the shower.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Yeah, there's a lot of weird things are not connecting.

Speaker 7 (37:24):
I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Yeah, you're lying. Yeah, I say, yeah, I'm wrong.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
I cheated.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
So much happier a month from now, when you're not
doing this and zins in the shower with a guy
that can't read in the back of her mind.

Speaker 10 (37:38):
Gross Or of the Roses is cretacked and possibly edited
to broadcasts with permission granted from all participates.

Speaker 1 (37:43):
In one and more roses go to YMS radio dot com,
Parazi by Celsius. War of the Roses on internshown in

nine three three eight in Rockville, Christina, Good.

Speaker 9 (37:56):
Morning, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
You heard War of the Roses girl, What do you
want to say?

Speaker 7 (38:01):
Oh, this is the only thing that gets me through
my day.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
Thank you for listening. I put you in hold one second.

Speaker 10 (38:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
If you want to do a Roses everything is up
the complete form. You can also binge previous ones ymsradio
dot com. It is intern John in your morning show.
We are just over two months away our DC jingle
Ball presented by Capitol One.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
The lineup is Massive, Alex.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Warren, Ajar, Jelly Rowl, Nelly Shine Down, Zara Larson and more.
All the info by the way, hotnety nine to five
dot com slash jingle Ball. Let's get you in the
show right now collar nine eight seven seven nine four
six eight one good luck. I want to get to
this in a second as well. What's your major and

(38:46):
what do you do?

Speaker 2 (38:47):
Now?

Speaker 1 (38:47):
Let me ask you this real quick to sauce. Are
you a snooze button hitter?

Speaker 6 (38:52):
No?

Speaker 2 (38:53):
Okay, yes, but do you have.

Speaker 3 (38:54):
I have multiple alarms and I'll just turn off the
first alarm if I decide that I don't know, I
just always turn off the first alarm and then I'll
usually lay there and then I get up at the second.

Speaker 1 (39:04):
So what's the time difference between It's five minutes, So
it's kind of basically a snooze god for sure.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Okay, rosieus snooze hitter, Yes, and it's awful. Okay. What's
the average amount of us neozies?

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Um ooh?

Speaker 5 (39:16):
Depends on the day and how the girls sleep at night, because.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
I'm not getting any sleep.

Speaker 5 (39:21):
It's probably like five or six neoses if it's just
a regular night where I did get a decent amount,
probably just like one or two.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
All snooze for like naps if I have nothing going on,
and I'll add like thirty minutes.

Speaker 2 (39:33):
Okay, that's kind of like they'll go.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
On what I earned it and another thirty Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
So, according to a recent study, more than half adults
are habitual snoozers, hit the button average at two point
five times just to steal another eleven minutes of sleep. Okay,
which that doesn't seem like that's not very much enough.

Speaker 5 (39:49):
To Yeah, it's not worth it, but in my brain
at the time, it is.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Yeah, So the docs say, like that's not good for
your health. Waking up several times interrupts and fragments sleep,
which means you'll cycle back and forth between light and
non resortive sleep being awake, which isn't RESTful. Oh okay,
Like the idea is you're more tired and groggy the
more times you snooze because it's not enough time to
actually like recharge the battery.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
Okay, I guess so.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
Yeah, so that was.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
The thing too before Apple changed this news Like the
length of it. I think it was only nine minutes,
because anything more than that if you fell risk like
starting to going like not rem sleep, like a deeper sleep,
and then you'd be kind of screwed. Okay, So they
say the more times you do it, the worst time.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
It can be.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
I mean, okay, I mean I guess if you're just
going to keep doing it, you're never really fully waking up.
We're going back to sleep, so you're kind of in
like purgatory, which is.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Kind of the problem.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
Yes, the understands it's better to either just add like
twenty five minutes another nappy or just get up right
away and go.

Speaker 2 (40:46):
I can't.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
I don't think most people can add twenty five minutes
their morning. Now they're morning alarm.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
They also suggested in the cold shower in the morning
that I listen, got what.

Speaker 3 (40:55):
I do that lot?

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Do you really potentially yes to wake me up the
USA and in there for five.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Secs and not five seconds. I usually like have it
for like ten seconds and I make it warm.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Do you like psych yourself up or just hop right in.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
Let's hop right in may okay for like nine years?

Speaker 1 (41:10):
Really?

Speaker 3 (41:12):
Yeah, I just do it? Get it over with cool
I'm awake kind of sick.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
All right, you're better man than I, and my goodness,
I get a little too cold and it is hard.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
Why are you keep saying words like that?

Speaker 1 (41:23):
Turn Johnny Marty show the check in interns, Johnny your
Morning show our chance.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
To hear from you.

Speaker 1 (41:29):
And I think the my favorite thing about the checking
is we realize we do the show, it's just us
in the room talking to ourselves, so we think, but
then we'll get to talk to you in the phone.
It's like, oh, like the most interesting people in the
world listen to us, which is like kind of I
don't know if the ego boots is the right thing,
but I'm like.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
God, all right, gives have some more fun but warm
and fuzzies. As my kindergarten teacher would say, Hell yes.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
And it's the one to do today for the check in?
What was your major? And what do you do now?
Because I feel like, very often they're not even close
to being the same ye nine ninety three three eight
the text now for me. My parents were college professors
at the school I went to. I didn't really have
a choice. My mom was my advisor, so there was

(42:10):
that I didn't get to pay zero in my classes.
She's like, this is what you're doing this year, you're
taking it with which was very nice. My major is
marketing and I did the show. I would say that
kind of worked out.

Speaker 3 (42:23):
Yeah, I think it did.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
I was going to do communications and my mom let
me take one communications class that was my freshman year.
But I was also working at the radio station in Minneapolis.
I realized I was learning way more at the radio stations,
so I didn't go to class. Shelby Sauce, you have
about thirty five hundred degrees.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
Yeah, I do. I did communication. I did media and
communications at UNBC, so like I did the honors college,
an honors college. I do think that helped a lot,
just with like understanding the world because you had a minor,
and no matter what there, you had a minor. So
I did an American study, so it helped me understand things
that growing up in a small town you don't that's

(43:00):
really know about. And then I also double major, so
I did environmental science too, so I wanted to be
a meteorologist at the time.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
And and then didn't you want to do like disaster.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
Yeah, so I started getting my degree in homeland security
because FEMA is under homeland security. So I started doing
that during the pandemic and then you know, I moved
and save money.

Speaker 1 (43:20):
So and what do you now?

Speaker 3 (43:22):
I work on the radio.

Speaker 2 (43:23):
There is that What was your major?

Speaker 5 (43:26):
My major was communication with a focus on electronic media,
so we focused a lot on like TV specifically, but
we did do radio stuff. So I am in the
field of my major. Look at that very rare nice
So let me hear yours. What do you what'd you
major in? And what do you do now?

Speaker 1 (43:44):
Nine ninety three three eight The text DM's open at
WYMUS Radio. I would also want to know too, like
if you regret the major or if like it all
led you to the path here on now. So it's fine.
I we love your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (43:56):
That check in. I didn't turn John your morning show.
It is that check interns you on in your morning show.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Our chance to hear from you here about your life today.
I'll want to know what was your major and what
do you do now? Nine ninety three three eight to
text DMS open at YMUS radio. Let's go in Germantown, VICKI,
good morning, good morning, all right girl?

Speaker 2 (44:18):
So your major was.

Speaker 9 (44:21):
Psychology?

Speaker 1 (44:22):
Oh, psychology. So what did you want to do with
psychology major?

Speaker 9 (44:27):
So I really wanted to just be a therapist, which
I love just listening and trying to help peopall.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
Sure, that's awesome, And what do we do now?

Speaker 9 (44:37):
I'm a bank manager?

Speaker 1 (44:39):
Okay, okay, so let me ask you this because that's
that's a quiet a turn of careers. But do you
use psychology while managing the bank because I imagine like
dealing with employees, dealing with potential robbers.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
That type of thing.

Speaker 9 (44:54):
I feel like I do, especially because being a bank
manager is kind of like being a bartender. People just
jump all their issues on you when you're doing things
for them. Oh yeah, I mean not in the way
that my parents probably hoped and paid for.

Speaker 7 (45:09):
But it gets you.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
Yeah, no doubt. Let me ask you one found question.
How come banks had the worst cameras of all time?
Anytime there's a robbery, can y'all post the video? It's like,
was this filmed? And a calculator?

Speaker 9 (45:22):
I cannot speak to that, but you are one hundred
percent true, and I myself.

Speaker 7 (45:26):
Don't know why.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
Yeah, okay, no shame in the game. Can I put
you in hold one second?

Speaker 4 (45:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (45:31):
Absolutely, Cat did say too. I do think psychology is
a class that everybody should take, oh.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
For sure, so you can understand yourself and people like it.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Maybe has changed the name too, like I don't know,
there should be like a basic life class, yeah if
you like. But yeah, I think that one hundred percent.
I take psychology. Yeah, I love it. So I deal
with my lovely coworkers. I'm sure be going to Silver
Spring Mandy, good morning, Hi, how are you good?

Speaker 2 (45:57):
Thank you? See your major was what megan? Yeah?

Speaker 12 (46:01):
So I I went to school for veterinary assistance.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
You want to be like a vet tech?

Speaker 10 (46:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (46:10):
I did.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Was it something you want to do like your entire
life growing up?

Speaker 6 (46:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (46:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (46:15):
I worked with the horses a lot and I just
really loved it.

Speaker 3 (46:18):
So when I went to school.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
For it, that's amazing. Okay, And what do we do now?

Speaker 12 (46:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (46:24):
So now I work in property management.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
Okay, okay, And so did we ever get a chance
to work in the vet field or how we get
into property management?

Speaker 4 (46:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (46:35):
So, so after college, I interned at some local like
veterinary places, and I ended up hating it.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
I know, I know, I realized our job.

Speaker 12 (46:49):
Yeah it is, it's really hard and like there's a
lot more customer service than people realize. And I realized
that I really like working. I really like working with
the animals in a way that I just got to
love on them rather than yeah, see them in pain
or see them.

Speaker 4 (47:07):
At they're worse.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
No, that makes sense.

Speaker 12 (47:08):
Now I keep working with horses, but now in the
way that I did growing up.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
Oh that's amazing, And Kay, thank you so much for listening.
You have a great day.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
Yeah you too, Bye, guys.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
I also totally get that because I would want to
be a vet just to do the fun stuff.

Speaker 3 (47:25):
Yeah, and like you get to like see all these
like cute animals and out them. But I think it'd
be really dreaming too. Oh No, I don't think I
could do it.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
I just want to be the guy that gets the
hold and professional dog pettern. Yeah, like that that'd be
something I think i'd be pretty good at.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
You can volunteer at shelters day.

Speaker 1 (47:41):
Yeah, it's the best, except that's hard to because then
it's like I want to leave with every dog. Yeah,
because like they'll give you a dog that you walk
around and I'm always.

Speaker 3 (47:49):
Like, oh I should just like this song's so cool.

Speaker 1 (47:51):
Yeah, it's gone, but tell them that Kathy, good morning,
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
So your major was what, Kathy?

Speaker 4 (47:58):
My major was music?

Speaker 2 (47:59):
Oh okay?

Speaker 1 (48:00):
And so in what regards like performative music therapy or
what do you want to do with your music degree?

Speaker 9 (48:07):
I ended up doing a little bit of a bunch
of things.

Speaker 3 (48:10):
Actually with things.

Speaker 13 (48:12):
It was music, it was vocal performance, it was piano, nice.

Speaker 4 (48:18):
And audio engineering.

Speaker 13 (48:19):
So I actually kind of moonlight as a background singer
as well as I just kind of.

Speaker 7 (48:26):
Help singers and composers write music.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
Oh wow, using the degree, yeah, I have.

Speaker 8 (48:35):
I spent a lot of time and energy in it.

Speaker 7 (48:37):
And my parents were like, all right, this better goes somewhere.

Speaker 8 (48:40):
Yeah, And I was like, all right, well, let's at.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
Least have a backup. If it doesn't go anywhere, I
can still make some money.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
Sure. Let me ask you this, how good are you
at playing the recorder? And you play hot cross bunds?

Speaker 9 (48:52):
I can hot cross bunds better than most people.

Speaker 7 (48:57):
We see you hear my streamline light?

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Look at that?

Speaker 1 (49:01):
All right?

Speaker 2 (49:01):
Can I put you and hold one second?

Speaker 8 (49:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (49:05):
Sure, real quick?

Speaker 1 (49:06):
If I gave you one hundred dollars to perfectly play
hot cross buns.

Speaker 2 (49:09):
Shelby sauce. Do you think you could do itself?

Speaker 3 (49:12):
I could? Yeah, like actually, like, I know I can.
I'm saying that with my chest. I know I could
do that.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
It's kind of flex.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
I could play Mary hat a little lamb after that
on recorder?

Speaker 1 (49:21):
Uh huh?

Speaker 2 (49:22):
Still, yes, when's the last thing you played? The quarder.

Speaker 3 (49:24):
It's been a long time, but I can see it
right now. I'm like, I know I can do it.
I see what to hit.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
We'll get drunk this weekend and pull out the recorders
and see what happens. Ain't that's fair?

Speaker 3 (49:33):
I have to buy one first.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
There's that. Yeah, it's going Waldorf Jessica, good morning.

Speaker 7 (49:38):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
I gro Your major was what psychology? Psychology?

Speaker 1 (49:44):
Okay, and so what did you want to deal with
a psychology major?

Speaker 13 (49:48):
So I initially wanted to be a therapist, and then
I realized that, like, I would not make a good
therapist because I would cry with all of my clients.

Speaker 7 (49:57):
And you should not do that.

Speaker 2 (49:58):
That's fair.

Speaker 3 (49:59):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (49:59):
I get it, And so where we do now?

Speaker 13 (50:02):
I am now a psychology professor.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
That's exciting.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
Good for you.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
Wait, ye see the question do you tell your students like, hey,
I'm majoring this, but I didn't think I could deal
with the emotional baggage.

Speaker 10 (50:16):
Yeah I do.

Speaker 13 (50:16):
And the one thing I don't tell them is that
I started studying psychology because I wanted to be an
actor and I just wanted.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
To be better at acting.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
Oh wow.

Speaker 13 (50:26):
But then I loved it, like it wasn't like it's
not my fault back or anything. But yeah, I don't
really tell them that one because that seems weird.

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (50:33):
So when people in the dating worre all find out
you have a psychology background, do they get freaked out?

Speaker 4 (50:39):
Yes?

Speaker 13 (50:39):
Yes, and that says so much about them.

Speaker 3 (50:42):
So that's there.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
Okay, all right, can I put you in a hold
one second for sure, and let's go, And but tell me, Cassie.

Speaker 4 (50:50):
Good morning, good morning.

Speaker 2 (50:52):
Okay. So your major was what? Girl?

Speaker 4 (50:56):
My major was originally theater?

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (50:59):
And what was the with the theater degree? What do
we want to do it? What was the dream goal?

Speaker 4 (51:05):
I was going to be a star on Broadway?

Speaker 2 (51:08):
Absolutely? What's your favorite Broadway play?

Speaker 8 (51:12):
Oh? God, the ultimate question, I'd say, I'd say, right now,
it's called the great comment You've heard of it?

Speaker 2 (51:22):
Okay? And so, uh so a major in theater. What
do we do now?

Speaker 4 (51:27):
Now I am actually an English teacher.

Speaker 2 (51:30):
Oh, very exciting. What level mm hmmm for high school?

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Okay, so what's like the do you guys do, like,
uh like reading or what do you like specialize in?

Speaker 8 (51:41):
Yeah, so it's actually kind of funny. It's still worked out,
I'd say, because I get to teach you know, like
plays and you know a little bit of Shakespeare.

Speaker 4 (51:50):
And you know that kind of thing.

Speaker 8 (51:52):
So there's definitely reading. I make you know them, do
a little bit of acting sometimes and nothing crazy.

Speaker 1 (51:57):
Hell yeah, okay, all right, I put you hold one second. Yeah, thanks,
go in Pasadena. Renee, good morning, good morning. So your
major was what, Renee?

Speaker 7 (52:09):
Oh my goodness, My major was dance, band dance the
age dance dance.

Speaker 1 (52:16):
Okay, I'm sorry. And so and with dance, what was
the goal? Like, what did you want to do with
a dance degree? What can you do with a dance degree?

Speaker 7 (52:23):
I wanted to actually be like a dance instructor.

Speaker 1 (52:26):
Okay, like I own your own studio. Are we talking
the ballet or modern or what was.

Speaker 7 (52:31):
The yes, oh, my own studio. So all types of dance.

Speaker 2 (52:37):
Very cool, and what do we do now.

Speaker 7 (52:40):
Now I am a massage therapist.

Speaker 1 (52:42):
Look at that? So how long before we switched paths?

Speaker 7 (52:47):
Actually I got to I got the degree and so
I did you know, four years of that and probably
after like two years of doing that, I switched it up.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
It's gotta paying the butt out of that when people
know your massage therapists to be like, hey, real quick,
could you have this not in my shoulder?

Speaker 2 (53:04):
Would you mind putting your hands on here?

Speaker 7 (53:07):
Exactly? I get it all the time, and I'm like,
do you mind cash affter me first?

Speaker 1 (53:11):
Hell yeah, girl, Hell yeah, I get that. Vemo, no
shame in the game. Can I put you in hold
this one second?

Speaker 10 (53:17):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (53:18):
Would love to hear yours over text?

Speaker 1 (53:19):
Nine to nine three three eight The check in an
intern John in your Morning Show. This Sunday is the
day intern John in your Morning Shows claws and pause
pauses in dog pause, I like doggy fee clawss and
drinkies because we're gonna be at Lone Oak.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
Farm Brewing this Sunday noon.

Speaker 1 (53:40):
To two for our first ever Doggie Halloween costume contest. Now,
sadly I had to tell Skittles over the weekend he
cannot win. Oh which now, he has the unfair advantage.
He basically wears a tuxedo every day.

Speaker 3 (53:53):
He is pretty about it, though, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
He was, but he understood. He guess, listen, I get it.
You know, as much as we need the cash, somebody
else should win. Said well, all right, that's fair. I
suppose first place gets five hundred dollars cash. First place dog,
I should say five hundred dollars cash. Second place is
two fifty, third place one hundred dollars. So Sunday noon
to two, come out, bring your dog, put your dog
in a costume, win some money. All the info ymus

(54:17):
Radio dot com very excited. Capital's goaltender Logan Thompson on
the show in minutes is intern john your Morning Show?
I welcome for the first time to Intern Johnny Morning Show.
You're goaltender of the Washington Capitals. Logan Thompson, Logan, good morning, sir,
morning morning.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
How's it going going well?

Speaker 4 (54:36):
Man?

Speaker 1 (54:36):
Last time I saw you was at Hide Social for
our co host Shelby's Pink Pony Club birthday. People know
this DJLT up and coming in the EDM community.

Speaker 10 (54:48):
So yeah, maybe maybe when he's over.

Speaker 1 (54:50):
Absolutely, this is year two for you in DC. Man,
I think I'm from Minnesota originally. I do want to
get your take on this. To me, it seems like
to the outsiders, the Caps fan base is so slept
on and I didn't realize it until I moved here
that the Caps faithful are maybe the most loyal fan

(55:10):
base in the league. Did you have that same kind
of experience when you first started here a year ago.

Speaker 4 (55:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (55:17):
Absolutely. I didn't know what to expect, obviously, coming from
Vegas and coming to DC and being here for a
year now and this kind of just kind of where
I live. Walking around, people people recognize you, people say hi,
you know, people will you come up and just you know,
I hope you have a great seat, or I hope
you have a good season. You had a great season
last year. Really friendly and they're die hard, they're passionate.
And that's such credit to Ovie and you know what

(55:39):
he's done in this to be for a long time,
and credit to the fats here that you know, love
the sport and love the team.

Speaker 1 (55:44):
Speaking of ob it's got to be a positive and
negative to practice against the greatest goal scorer of all time,
because number one, you're going against the best. But I
gotta imagine, even underneath thirty pounds of pads, the Ovi
slav shot cannot feel great as goalie.

Speaker 10 (56:01):
No, it's it's obviously a privilege to play with him
and then call him a teammate. But yeah, practically practicing
against them sometimes is always the funnest.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
I do think too hockey players internally, swag is a
big thing when it comes to hockey. When you see
yourself on the big screen during the game, do you
try to like, hell, yeah, did I look dope? Or
if they replay a big save, do you get hyped
to watching it on the big screen?

Speaker 4 (56:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (56:24):
It obviously it's a big save or something abroad when
they assumed on you after a goal, you're just can't
rat on any such of things. So it's kind of
it's fifty to fifty. It's really good or really bad.

Speaker 2 (56:38):
Well, let me ask you this.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
Obviously, one of the best seasons I think you have
last year was fantastic. As far as frustrations, obviously, be
a goalie, goals happen. What's more annoying giving up a
goal or losing your keys in the morning.

Speaker 10 (56:54):
Give it up a goal, give it up a goal
that's handed down. The is more frustrating, especially when you know,
you know, visitor on rink and the horns blaring on
off and all the fans are laughing at you. It's
just definitely frustrating.

Speaker 1 (57:06):
How about giving up a goal or forgetting your password
to like Netflix something like that, having to create a
new password and it tells you you can't use the
old password.

Speaker 10 (57:15):
I gotta say so, giving up a goal and nothing
worse nowhere feeling okay?

Speaker 2 (57:20):
How about forgetting the wallet? Still getting up the goal?
I'm assumming, still getting up a goal.

Speaker 10 (57:24):
I gotta, I got, I can pay off my phone.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
There we go.

Speaker 1 (57:28):
And so as far as pregame rich Wals, We've had
Tom Wilson on the show before, We've had tj Oshi
on the show before. Goalies are different breed for you.
Let's say a seven o'clock puck drop. What's your day
look like.

Speaker 10 (57:42):
O'clock puck drop? You know, I'm usually at the rink
in the morning for a morning skate, you know, grab
my my lunch from our our team chef, and be
home around noon. I'll probably just hang out and take
a nap from from like one to the two thirty
three ish, and then yeah, waked up shower, hanging the ranks,
and be at the rink by you know, three forty

(58:02):
five and from there. Yeah, just just doing a quick little,
you know, pre game workout, warming up, getting ready for
the seven o'clock game, just to finding ways to just
stay loose.

Speaker 2 (58:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
Well, I like about your story talking to Logan Thompson,
goalie of the Capitals. You went undrafted in the draft,
you signed with Vegas, eventually asked for a trade, and
then obviously proved to be correct. You really did bet
on yourself. I mean, you knew you could be a
starting goalie and you could carry the workload. How much
did last year feel good personally to be like, yeah,

(58:34):
I knew I was that guy or I could be
that guy.

Speaker 10 (58:36):
Yeah, it was, you know, it was exciting. I was
happy and really thankful for the opportunity that you know,
Washington gave me and Carbs, the team and the management
belief shown in me. And yeah, it was definitely a
step in the right direction for me, I think, and
the team of the Washington Capitals. But you know, obviously
I'm happy with it, but you know, I think there's
still a lot more that we can do improve around

(58:58):
this league and more I want to. You know, it
was a step in the right direction, but still a
lot more work to be done.

Speaker 1 (59:04):
You know, I coach high school hockey here at Georgetown
PREPP and there's a lot of pressure, I think, on
youth nowadays to focus on one sport early on. You're
obviously playing at the highest level professional hockey. Growing up,
Did you play more sports than chess hockey or his
hockey kind of your solo?

Speaker 10 (59:20):
Dollo hockey was my solo my my my dad was
was very much that mentality that you know, hockey's your sport,
You're sticking with it as much as I wanted to
play another sports and still too to this day. I
am terrible. I'm a one sport athlete, that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (59:36):
If you had to pick another sport in the DC
area to play for, though, you had to play for
the Commanders or the Nationals or the Wizards or the
Ravens or the Oriols, who would you pick to play for?

Speaker 10 (59:47):
I think the Commanders. Look, it looks like it could
be a good time. They got a good day, got
a good following, and they got Daniels there. I think
I think I go with the Commanders.

Speaker 1 (59:54):
Hell, yes, Logan Man a pleasure. Thanks for me on
the show Man Best Love this season. I'm coming next
Tuesday Friday. I'll be at the game, so looking forward
to get high.

Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
And I'm the X body. Appreciate you that.

Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
I want to do a test to see how creative
people are who listen to the show. It's an intern
John in your morning show. Appreciate you listening. What do
you sneak in the movie theaters?

Speaker 10 (01:00:17):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
What when you go to see a movie? What do
you bringing in? How you bringing it in? How often
are you bringing it in? Now? Me, I've disadvantaged being
a guy because there's not as many places to hold stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:00:28):
But you have.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Big pocket, But.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
Do you about have like a purse? Though?

Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
So my usual go to is I'll bring like a
protein snack because I'm lame as hell. But also if
it's one of those theaters that serves alcohol, I'll make
sure they serve like high nooners and I'll bring in
a high noon get that because that's the most expensive
thing on the menu, is the liquor or like a
mini bottle or something, and do it that way. But
like that's kind of like the go to for me

(01:00:58):
is like sneaking in that. If the theater that doesn't
serve food, then I'll seeking more stuff. But if it
has food in that probably go that way. Shelby Sauce,
small stature. Yeah, what do you sneak in?

Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
I don't really go to movie theaters, but I do remember,
like in high school, the Juicy cotur bags were really
popular and my aunt worked there, so she gave me
one for Christmas.

Speaker 4 (01:01:18):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
No, my aunt Darcy and not I have more than
one ant.

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Now you say that, I thought, yeah, that would be
her vibe.

Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
She does not work at Juicy anyway, she h. So
my auntie is a Juicy Coutur bag and uh, like
Marley Station mall had the Taco bell across the street,
across the whatever, and so we would sneak a bunch
of tacos in my purse and then like put like candy,
you buy candy, and like put the candy on top

(01:01:52):
and then so that you can smell the taco bell.
And we would eat taco bell and candy. But we
put like the bag from like because it's at the mall,
so we put like a bag like oh like throw
like the twenty one bag in there.

Speaker 2 (01:02:09):
They don't care.

Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
They don't, especially like back guys. They're all in high
school too. They're like, I don't care, as long as
you clean up station. I don't even know what that
movie you're still there? Probably not in The question is
what don't I sneak in?

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Now?

Speaker 5 (01:02:21):
I started, like in high school, bring like the candies
and drink stuff like that, and then I elevated.

Speaker 3 (01:02:27):
I have brought sushi burrito.

Speaker 5 (01:02:31):
I brought a cheeseburger meal with the fries and drink.

Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
And probably the cherry on top of all of it.

Speaker 5 (01:02:38):
I brought in a hole ass steak dinner, rain beans,
like in a little top of ware container, and I
it was the best.

Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
I love.

Speaker 5 (01:02:48):
Like a regular movie or anything crazy, I haven't. It
was dinner, Yeah, it was. It was inner and a
movie at the same time. I haven't been to the
movie theater in a while, so I haven't stuck anything
in lately. But I still what And the thing is, they,
like you said, they don't care, You do not care
at all, So.

Speaker 1 (01:03:05):
Let me ask you then the circle of trust, what
do you sneak in the movie theaters? Nine nine three
three eighths number of text dms at wymous Radio. It
is intern Jhon in your morning show. We got some
ultimate hacks coming in. It's Intern John and your Morning Show.
I want to know what do you sneak in the
movie theaters? Where do you sneak it? How often do

(01:03:27):
you sneak it? Nine nine three three eighth to text?
Dms are open at wymous Radio. It's going Leesburg Claire.

Speaker 2 (01:03:33):
Good morning.

Speaker 7 (01:03:34):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (01:03:35):
Is this something we currently do or is this a
practice in a former life?

Speaker 3 (01:03:42):
I haven't done it recently.

Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
Okay, so you would sneak what in the theaters?

Speaker 4 (01:03:48):
A pizza?

Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
A whole pizza?

Speaker 11 (01:03:51):
Well, it was a personal size pizza.

Speaker 8 (01:03:53):
It's not like a huge one.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
But yeah, okay, how do we get the personal sized
pizza into the movie theater?

Speaker 9 (01:04:01):
I mean I just wear like an oversized sweatshirt and
tick it right under there in the box.

Speaker 2 (01:04:06):
Okay. I guess you probably hadn't move quickly, right, so
wouldn't smush?

Speaker 8 (01:04:11):
Uh?

Speaker 11 (01:04:12):
Yeah, okay, all right, I held it on like a diagonal, so.

Speaker 4 (01:04:16):
Sure it's no.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
Okay, Claire, thank you for calling. You have a great day.

Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
I would be too afraid to do the full on pizza.
I think it's also i'd be afraid that it would
smush to the bottom and then just be not good.

Speaker 3 (01:04:31):
Yeah, maybe like all weird. The cheese is like all
run off there or something.

Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
You also, why sneak stuff in the theaters? I do
get worried, like I'm like breaking the lot. Then I
go they don't care. No, I don't don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
I don't care at all.

Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
In Edgewater, Rachel, good morning. Oh hi, So after the
show day, we're all gonna go the movies. You're gonna
sneak in? What for us?

Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (01:04:52):
I am the queen of sneaking stuff into the movie theater.
Is like, I can legit get you anything, Like my
best one was I got all foot long like a
subway down my pants knuck into the theaters. But anything, literally,
I can make it happen.

Speaker 2 (01:05:07):
How do you sneak in subway? Where do you put it?
I realized you.

Speaker 11 (01:05:14):
Have to prepare for it. You have to wear the
right clothes. You know what, You've got to wear something baggy. Sure,
this was like a sweatpants situation that I was able
to like put it down my leg or like for women,
a good thing you can do is like give yourself
a pregnancy belly and put food in it, like you
can get a whole bag of tips in there. You know,
there's there's things you.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Can do, dude.

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Okay, I think I think that that's gonna be like
the all time goal. Now I get pregnancy belly and
then a foot long stub. See what happens. Rachel, thank
you for listening. Have a great day you too. I
have all these so far. I think the subway seems
like the most doable one to do as.

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
Far as like, I want to know how she kept
it like on her leg? There is that like does
she like have it strept into her underwear?

Speaker 1 (01:05:59):
That's why once you were like most people wouldn't stop
you and be like I need to pat you down
and get movie theater? Yeah, I say that's like the
how I go. Now, let's go in Fairfax.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
Amy, Good morning, Good morning. So is this something we
do often or every now and then?

Speaker 8 (01:06:17):
It's kind of a regular thing.

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
So we went to a movie theater with you, Amy,
We should not be surprised if you.

Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
Sneak in what.

Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
You're gonna be Okay, sushi sushi girl.

Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
It's like hard to eat in a movie theater. So
it's like dark if you want to put like some
sabbi and soy sauce. Thanks, but I love sushi like
that's one of my favor I get it.

Speaker 7 (01:06:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:06:42):
I mean I've had a couple of complaints here and there,
but I try to say, like I try to.

Speaker 7 (01:06:46):
Go when nobody's around, like during the day.

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
First of all, how do you sneak it in? Got it? Okay?
And then do you use chopsticks or you use your fingers?

Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
No, if you use my fingers, it's easier.

Speaker 8 (01:06:58):
And of course i'd bring baby wife to clean up after.

Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
That's how do you dip it in soy sauce? You
just put that in the bag by self.

Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
Or free dips?

Speaker 3 (01:07:08):
Oh, some soy sauce.

Speaker 1 (01:07:10):
Okay, I can be honest. Doesn't not that bad idea?
All right, Amy, thank you for listening. Have a great day.

Speaker 9 (01:07:15):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:07:16):
Enjoy see one more in North Bethesda.

Speaker 1 (01:07:19):
Natalie, good morning, Good morning, all right, girl, I listen,
shame the game. You sneak what in the movie theaters?

Speaker 7 (01:07:28):

Speaker 9 (01:07:29):
Like I'm putting a whole bottle of wine in my
purse is coming in with me.

Speaker 8 (01:07:33):
I'm getting lit?

Speaker 4 (01:07:34):
Ell?

Speaker 1 (01:07:35):
Are we going a nice red or nice chardonay or
what's what's the vibe.

Speaker 9 (01:07:40):
Some for sure? Yeah, so that's the vibes you're at
all point.

Speaker 3 (01:07:45):
Girl like twist Sauce.

Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
Oh yeah, that's a good point because always seeing a
bttle opener. Yeah that makes sense. Okay, Natalie, thank you
for listening.

Speaker 7 (01:07:51):
You have a great day, you too, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:07:55):
I would love to hear yours over text nine nine
three three eight. It is Internson and you're show let
me get to this quake as well. Somebody took the
time to the probably use AI if I'm being completely honest,
but put together the most popular baby names from Disney movies.
So like, I don't know if people necessarily name their
kid because of the movie, but if you have the
guest Sauce, give me a popular baby name that's also

(01:08:19):
a Disney name.

Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
I guess as going wait Jasmine, okay, Jason Rose, I
feel like Ella for Cinderella.

Speaker 1 (01:08:29):
Okay. They're saying, uh Felix made the list from uh
fix and Felix wrecka Ralph felixes. Sure, I don't know
if that necessarily is. I don't know anyone with that name. Yeah,
but I would even I wouldn't know. People are naming
the kid Felix because of.

Speaker 3 (01:08:44):
The movie family name or something.

Speaker 1 (01:08:47):
Arlow as an Arla from The Good Dinosaur. That's a
cute name.

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
That's like a lot of people are naming their their
kids Arlow.

Speaker 1 (01:08:54):
Yeah, Anna as in Anna Princess Anna from Frozen.

Speaker 2 (01:08:58):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
Jasper made the list from one Okay, one hundred and
one Dalmatians.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
Oh, is that one of the dogs. Okay, there we go.
There's a bunch of them. Let me go. Milo from Atlantis.

Speaker 3 (01:09:12):
Oh, I never saw that neither, or Milo Otis guys
mil and Otis.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
Alice made the list.

Speaker 3 (01:09:20):
Yeah, Alice in Wonderland.

Speaker 1 (01:09:22):
Cute.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Yeah, I don't know. Again, not saying direct correlation.

Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
They're just I mean, can think of with Anna, Like
I know so many Anna's. I'm like, they're not named
after you know, Frozen.

Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
Ellie from Up Sure, Okay, I probably a coincidence there, Aurora.

Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
Oh yeah, I was gonna say that too.

Speaker 1 (01:09:39):
Yeah. Sophia from Sophia, the first Disney popular big name.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
I love that name, so so pretty.

Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
Luna from Elena of Avalar not.

Speaker 3 (01:09:48):
I don't know what that is.

Speaker 2 (01:09:49):
I don't think I do either.

Speaker 6 (01:09:50):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:09:51):
Leo from Little Einstein's.

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
Oh yes, super cute Sebastian a little Mermaid. That's the
fourth biggest Disney baby name.

Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
I know lots Abastians, but they don't go by it,
Like a lot of them go by Sea Bass. And
at first was like why, And I'm like, oh.

Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
They go by that or do you call them Sea Bass?
I do not.

Speaker 3 (01:10:09):
I do not, Okay, I think at first, I like,
when I lived in Georgia, I met three guys named Sebastian.
They all went by Sea Bass, and the third one
I was like why. And then I'm like, oh, you idiot,
like that's the beginning of your name.

Speaker 2 (01:10:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:10:22):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
I just never thought about it. I was like, that's
so weird. I mean, I guess it's but really I was,
I'm an idiot. No, no, no, no, I don't it
sounds weird. It does sound weird. It's like when you say,
I'm like, hey, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:10:34):
Sea Bass.

Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
Yeah whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:10:36):
Isabella from Incanto, Oh yeah yeah again, probably.

Speaker 2 (01:10:40):
Other reasons why the names play Isabella, but that's fair.

Speaker 3 (01:10:42):
I like, I like the TikTok sounds to it. I've
never seen it, but.

Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
I'm the guy either.

Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
The number one most popular baby name from Disney this
past year is Oliver Oliver.

Speaker 3 (01:10:53):
That was my cast name from Oliver and Company.

Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
Thank you over fourteen thousands there. Yeah, it's that intern
genuine it's Internshohn in your morning show. That's sound. The
papers can mean one thing. Your headline of the day.
This to me is disaster on your big day. Groom
gets married via iPad after travel disaster prevents it from

(01:11:17):
attending his own wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:11:20):
So yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
So this couple was planning on getting married. They spent
forty seven thousand dollars on their big day delayed because
Drew is the groom's name. He had some travel visa delays,
so he was stuck in the US the day of
his wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
Here's the problem though, First of all, how you didn't
find this out closer to the day? I leave that there?
Do you not check on that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
But the venue was booked. The guess are shut up
around the world. They say that it was a difficult decision.
They had to go ahead with it. So Drew sat
on his hotel bed and his quote extravagant wedding outfit
being live streamed on two screens, one at top of
the table, the other being passed around among the guests
so they could all see what was going on.

Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
If I went to that wedding, I would feel so
terrible for that bride.

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
Uh yeah. And here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (01:12:19):
The wedding photographer took photos still because like yeah, yeah, yeah,
and like all still like hey I still look good,
like I still we paid for you ya, so yeah
yeah yeah. So he's featured in the fictional wedding photos
through the screen. They say a gap was left friend
to be photoshopped in on the family shots because that

(01:12:40):
sucks too, like you missed the family stuff. Also was like, yo,
your family is able to get there, but you yeah,
couldn't figure it.

Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
Out what went wrong there?

Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
H the uh he said, we spared no expense. What
was a forty six thousand dollars wedding for both of
us and it being just me Drew had experience an iPad.

Speaker 2 (01:12:57):
Well, yeah, that is awesome. So they say if all the.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
P and they're saying if all their friends and family
hadn't been there, be a little bit different. Yeah, I
mean it is kind of funny. That's one of those
things where I would never let them forget that. No, never,
forever never know. Basically, you threw a party for somebody else.
That's kind of what happened for yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:13:18):
You did.

Speaker 1 (01:13:19):

(01:14:53):
Paul Sauce, rock, paper, scissors, you go with.

Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
What us scissors? Rose, paper? I think got a right
look at that.

Speaker 5 (01:15:01):
I think, yeah, honestly, it's it's on the fly. For me,
it changes every single time. I don't have like a standard.
It's whatever my brain makes my hand do at that
at that moment.

Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
Well, somebody thought I'd go to blow money. Figure out
what America usually goes with.

Speaker 2 (01:15:16):
Break it down.

Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
So according to this research, thirty four percent go with rock,
twenty three percent say scissors, twenty percent say paper. Okay,
they say, I choosing paper in your first throw gives
you the best.

Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
Odds of winning.

Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
Oh ye's that there you go? Okay, other twenty three percent,
so they out know what they go for. They kind
of mix it up. Sure. They also ask for other
games a chance, so sauce heads or tails.

Speaker 3 (01:15:40):
I usually say tails, okay, rose heads.

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
I think I'm more of a heads guy.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
Fifty nine percent, So they go for heads, okay, twenty
nine percent say tails. Nineteen percent done a preference.

Speaker 3 (01:15:50):
Well, okay, to have a preference, you really don't.

Speaker 5 (01:15:53):
It's again, rock paper scissors. It's kind of like you
throw it out on the fly. I'm the same way
like it's I don't have a preference.

Speaker 3 (01:15:58):
I mean you have to pick one.

Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
Yeah, Harty gent over here.

Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
You have to pick one.

Speaker 5 (01:16:03):
But I'm not picking the same side every single time,
is what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:16:06):
I'm gonna pick it to land straight up and then
go like that. Yeah, it does that. Sometimes it do
be like that. It does be like that. Sometimes I
try to throw the coin off a little bit. Yeah,
I'm saying, so it doesn't know what's going on. I
do choosing number between one and ten, there's a clear winner,
So saw picking number.

Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
One or ten.

Speaker 3 (01:16:23):
You just say two or four, okay, any reason why?
My birthday is twenty fourth, so that's fair that rose
eight is my favorite number.

Speaker 1 (01:16:30):
I tend to go with seven. That's like a hockey number,
and that's so the clear winner. Thirty six percent say seven.

Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
Is the go to Yeah, I feel like everybody picks seven.

Speaker 1 (01:16:38):
They say, so, if you're the one asking, don't choose
seven unless you want them to guess that number five
is a distance second. Okay, if you want them the
guests wrong, the best number of pick is one. Only
one percent say their go to number is so.

Speaker 3 (01:16:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:16:51):
So if you think I'm thinking number one or ten, yeah,
they're not going to say one. Okay, then the ten
is the next one. Yes.

Speaker 3 (01:16:57):
I used to pick five, and then I felt like
everybody's picking five, so I stopped doing that. But that
was like me as a kid, like I'm not like
an adult, like.

Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
Oh my god, I was gonna say, what circles do
you win?

Speaker 10 (01:17:06):
That?

Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
Y'all are guest numbers, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:17:08):
It would just be like at school every day we
would be doing it to because our class was really small.

Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
It would be just like a way that we did
it to. I think it was like for kickball or
something stupid, and so I stopped picking five.

Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
So now I know, yeah, pick a number right now.

Speaker 3 (01:17:22):
I think of a number anyway, anything else, I think
a number? You're thinking of three?

Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
Five?

Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
Come on now wow? An intern Johnny Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (01:17:31):
I thought this was kind of while it's intern john
in your Morning show. This dating expert revealed the six
seemingly innocent questions they are guaranteed to get you ghosted
while dating. Okay, going through these, I understand like the logic.
It's mainly dude to ask these questions seeming innocent, but
it comes across completely wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (01:17:51):
Probably the biggest question, Well, let me ask you first,
sauce you've been on the dating apps. Most annoying question
you get asked consistently or have been asked on dating apps?

Speaker 3 (01:18:00):
What are you doing here? Or what are you looking
for here?

Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
Or why are you still single? Those two I just can't.
I can't.

Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
That is the number one question they say, I'll get
you go, So which one? Why are you still single?

Speaker 6 (01:18:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:18:13):
I can't stay that. Like I always say, my dad
couldn't afford my dowry.

Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
Which is funny Yeah, that's funny.

Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
So the expert says, this question immediately puts your date
on the defensive. It suggests that he had justify the
relationship status of being as single is a problem that
he's explaining.

Speaker 3 (01:18:29):
Yes there are one time. This was years ago, though,
but I think I've told you about it. This guy
asked me that, and you already kind of see seemed condescending,
and so I just put a bunch of you know,
dashes to just give a little timeline of why. But
it wasn't. I was just like this and it was
like moved like I just moved Georgia. I was like
just in Georgia. And it was like maybe like three

(01:18:51):
little dashes and for a boy boyfriend, you know, pandemic
moved Georgia, And that's probably That's basically what said. And
he sent me and I said, this was really nice
to know you. I just don't feel like it's going
to work out, because he was already being condescending. Like also,
I just wasn't into it. And he sent me five
paragraphs about what I need to change about my profile
and personality to find someone so I wouldn't still be single, okay,

(01:19:12):
And I did not respond to that. Yeah, but it
was I definitely still the screenshots, so I was like,
this guy's insane.

Speaker 1 (01:19:18):
Well, I was getting to defend dudes, not that guy.
I think most dudes asked this meant to be a
compliment of like, you're so amazing, how are you single?
But I understand being asked that over and over and
over again comes across the negative thing it does.

Speaker 3 (01:19:33):
It seems really weird, like you have to justify being
single and why you're single, and then it's just where
do you go from that conversation? Anyway, It's just it's weird.

Speaker 2 (01:19:42):
The next one is have you had any work done?

Speaker 3 (01:19:45):
I don't think I've ever been asked that. Yeah, I
don't like the question. I don't think I've ever been
asked that.

Speaker 1 (01:19:52):
I guess like maybe if this brought up in a
different way where it's like, oh, would you ever consider,
but like if it was organically brought up, maybe, But that's.

Speaker 3 (01:19:58):
An odd under stand that we're meeting on a dating app.
But I don't think you need to ask that question ever.

Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
Yeah, they say it puts you put your dating award position.
They either have to emit cosmetic procedures or feel like
you're scrutinizing their parents or fluss.

Speaker 3 (01:20:10):
I was gonna say, if somebody asked me, I'd be like,
what's wrong with me?

Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:20:14):
The next question, again, this could be online or in
person too, how much money do you make? I've told
this story to the cows come home my first date
ever in DC. The girls said, I bet you'll make
more money than you do.

Speaker 3 (01:20:24):
Yeah, And it was just a weird thing that it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:27):
Was so odd and it was so bizarre.

Speaker 1 (01:20:29):
I think like that, the finance discussion, when you're just
dating and not in a relationship, that to be a
huge red flag to me.

Speaker 3 (01:20:36):
I've never been asked that, so I wouldn't I wouldn't
like to be asked that.

Speaker 1 (01:20:39):
Though kind of obvious to say, asking somebody about salary
on a first date suggest you're evaluating them based on
their financial worth rather than personality. Definitely does. Yeah, nice
to meet you. How much money you got? Literally any
rich relatives? Yeah, the Helmer family. You guys make loot.
Because I'm pretty sick. I can't imagine somebody actually asking
this but shirret courting the expert. Do you think I'm
hotter than your ex?

Speaker 3 (01:21:01):
Ew assa. That is a bold question to ask.

Speaker 2 (01:21:06):
How's.

Speaker 3 (01:21:09):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
Weird to say, I feel like there's no real answer, right,
because if you're asking that, you're probably insecure.

Speaker 3 (01:21:17):
I was going to say, I don't think you're ready
to be dating if you're asking that.

Speaker 1 (01:21:20):
Yeah, And if they say, oh, no, you're hotter, you're
probably not gonna believe it.

Speaker 2 (01:21:24):
Yeah, because you're insecure.

Speaker 1 (01:21:26):
So you're going to ask for photos or you've done
the research and found the X. Yeah, I would be like,
I don't even know how to ask.

Speaker 3 (01:21:34):
Yeah, that's weird. Do not don't ever ask that?

Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
Yeah, they said his questions a triple threat shows insecurity
force is going to think about their X during your date, Yeah,
and puts them in a possible position.

Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
There's no good answer to this question. No, that's weird.

Speaker 3 (01:21:48):
Don't do that.

Speaker 2 (01:21:49):
I guess I just what would you want the outcome
to be?

Speaker 3 (01:21:52):
Also, why where does that come from?

Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
Yeah, it's just me insecurity, I guess.

Speaker 3 (01:21:56):
Right, that's just something to talk about their friends later,
like oh, I'm so much higher than you are. I
don't know, just yes, weird.

Speaker 1 (01:22:03):
Or you give light jabs a couple of years into
the relationship, like memory date, horse face like that type
of not like a first date.

Speaker 3 (01:22:08):
Yeah, yeah, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
Next question I think should be up higher on the list,
what's your body count?

Speaker 3 (01:22:15):
Why would you ask that? I don't think anybody should
ask that anymore. I just don't think it matters anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:22:20):
Yeah, they said a question changed the time from getting
to know getting to know somebody to scrutinize in their past.

Speaker 3 (01:22:25):
Yeah. I just think that's a weird question.

Speaker 1 (01:22:27):
It creates discomfort and suggest you're judging them based on
their answer, can make people feel reduced to number rather
than see them as a complex individual.

Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
Well, I like that. The air guitar guy in Georgia,
we went on two dates and on the second date,
he just happened to mention his body count. It just
came up, like out of nowhere. And so it was
a number that I was shocked by and I was
like I can't Like I could get over it, maybe,
but I was like, that's disturbing. I don't know why.
You also told me, well, I don't want to know that.

Speaker 1 (01:22:55):
It's one of those things too, where you can't somebody
can't count unless they think about the ins And do
you want the person you're on day with to think
about their past hookups in front.

Speaker 3 (01:23:04):
Of you, you know, I mean, like my girls have lists.

Speaker 2 (01:23:07):
Oh okay, well it's different though.

Speaker 3 (01:23:08):
I'm on that side of TikTok now okay, yeah sure.

Speaker 1 (01:23:11):
The last one is how many kids do you want?
They say It's an important conversation eventually, but being a
busting baby talk before you finished the entrees not the
way to go. I think in this day and age,
I think it's that day with FOPA understand mine.

Speaker 3 (01:23:25):
Yeah, I don't. I've had people ask if I want
kids on first dates or even how many, and I
don't mind.

Speaker 1 (01:23:30):
Yeah, maybe asking if you want kids better than how
many you want in general, maybe that's a better way
to go about it. I don't think that's as far
as the rest of these. That's the least.

Speaker 3 (01:23:38):
Don't really care if you ask me, that's fine.

Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
Do you want to add some dmser up in at
why Miss Radio? It is intern Johnny Morning Show. We

Speaker 2 (01:24:31):
But fun for the whole family. There's drinks, there's food,
there's games do as well.

Speaker 1 (01:24:35):
This Sunday in costume. Oh, you can't me. You can't
go wrong with that. This Sunday noon to two, Lone
Oak Farm Intern Johnny Morning Shows, Clause and pause, all
the info Ymsradio dot Com. I gotta get to this
next for your Monday. Is doing this hurting your social life?
I think this was funny to you real quick. They
did a study on couples and weight loss journeys. Okay,

(01:24:59):
fifty people have quote accidentally joined their partner's weight loss plan.

Speaker 3 (01:25:03):
Oh because they're trying to lose weight. And then maybe
if you've lived the other and you're eating the same stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:25:09):
Yeah. I mean I've said before I had an ex
girlfriend who claimed to be gluten free, although anytime she
drank it was the craziest thing.

Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
She could have anything gluten to be fine.

Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
But because that like by association, like I kind of
became gluten free and then like it bred to this day,
still messes me up because of that.

Speaker 3 (01:25:25):
Which is okay, sure.

Speaker 1 (01:25:26):
Yeah, So fifty five percent people with a partner on
a health journey join them without really considering to do
so they're mimicking their habits.

Speaker 3 (01:25:33):
Yeah, and especially if you're living in the same house
and you have the same stuff, like why buy more stuff?

Speaker 8 (01:25:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:25:41):
Yeah, I think that makes all sense to the wye
and you can support somebody. And it's also too It's
like if the person you're with is having a salad
and you never hating it, is the best moved to
order McDonald's in their face?

Speaker 2 (01:25:52):
Probably not?

Speaker 3 (01:25:53):
Oh, like I wouldn't love that.

Speaker 1 (01:25:55):
It's like the guys are bringing their Xbox to the
delivery room at the hospital, my brother, probably Yeah. Not
not the time playing call of duty while you're fighting
a war on the video game, your ladies, fighting a war,
giving birth to your child.

Speaker 2 (01:26:06):
Yeah, probably read the room, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
Yeah, forty seven percent couples do wellness goals together.

Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
Call it the ultimate relationship hack.

Speaker 3 (01:26:13):
I do think that if you're doing it in like
a healthy way and understanding each other's goals, that's a
really great thing to do together. Yeah, if you're But
I have seen like some couples and like I don't
know anyone personally, but I've seen it on TikTok where
I'm like, I don't know, that seems a little bit
much where it's like almost a competition to one of them.
Then like that's not healthy because like men and women

(01:26:34):
are built different for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:26:36):
So I have a radio friend who I'll tell you
off the air, but he was convinced that his missus
was derailing his weight loss plan by intentionally making things
to make.

Speaker 2 (01:26:44):
Him gain weight.

Speaker 1 (01:26:45):
Oh, which like I don't know if the actually cookies, yeah,
like that kind of thing, or or like she was
like if she was making dinner, she wouldn't use like
the healthy ingredient.

Speaker 2 (01:26:53):
She'd use like the full on stick of butter.

Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
That kind of air. But we've had people calling the
show before too, it's like, yeah, I try to sabotage
my person's.

Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
We have had and I'm like that sound very nice.

Speaker 2 (01:27:02):
Yeah, that's wild.

Speaker 3 (01:27:03):
Like if they want to lose weight, let them lose
weight like that, that's let let them live.

Speaker 2 (01:27:08):
They say.

Speaker 1 (01:27:09):
To that point, twenty nine percent of partners have become
the top culprit and delate, derailing progress by keeping unhealthy
snacks at home.

Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
Sure, yeah, like open up the freezers like I can
get popsicle or I can get ice cream sandwich. But
even when my brother wanted to lose weight, like this
was years ago, my mom would hide all of her
snacks to try to help him, because I mean, it's
also health control. Health control. Self control when it's in
front of your face is so hard every day and
you're like, it's right down the hallway.

Speaker 1 (01:27:36):
Actually it's intern Johnny Marshall. Let's get to do this
real quick. A new study, almost sixty percent millennials and
gen z say their social life hurts their financial goals.

Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
Sixty percent. Yeah, what do you mean.

Speaker 3 (01:27:48):
Sixty The other forty percent has self control.

Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
Or they're rich.

Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
Couldn't be me?

Speaker 2 (01:27:52):
Yeah, yeah, that's what do you Every weekend of fighting
for my life.

Speaker 3 (01:27:57):
Yeah, I'm like, I have Bomo, but I can't afford that.

Speaker 1 (01:28:00):
Forty two percent millennials and gen z ers say they
overspent on their social budgets several months out of the year.

Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
Every month out of the year. Try every month out
of there.

Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
Yeah, listen, we're not here for a long time. Yeah,
we're here for a good time.

Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
And the only time that like, I literally did not
do that is when I got like surgery, plastic surgery
elective and because I couldn't, because I couldn't, And then
I'm still spending money anyway.

Speaker 1 (01:28:24):
It's not even like we're balling out. No, it's just
like I got a couple of drinks and some apps.

Speaker 3 (01:28:28):
It's hard being being out here trying to it is
live your.

Speaker 1 (01:28:31):
Life, it is. They also say that sixty nine percent
try and connect with their friends in person at least
once a week.

Speaker 3 (01:28:37):
Yeah, it's good for you.

Speaker 4 (01:28:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:28:39):
I see my friends out a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:28:41):
I see you guys every day.

Speaker 3 (01:28:42):
I see oh, yeah, I see you guys every day.

Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
I do.

Speaker 2 (01:28:45):
As Eric says, though we're family, we are family. That's
Eric's words, not mine.

Speaker 8 (01:28:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:28:50):
They say the average person spends two hundred and fifty
bucks a month on social activities.

Speaker 3 (01:28:55):
Okay, sure that's not that much, I know, but I'm
like out here, like what do I do if I
go to lunch or I mean dinner with my friends? Sure,
if I'm going to hide free, I mean you're not,
I know, if I go to my apartment pool that's
included with my frint.

Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
Well, I also feel like not in this area, right
because that's basically sixty dollars a month or a week
rather but like that, so are you walking there?

Speaker 2 (01:29:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:29:19):
So then like you get two drinks, you probably up
to forty bucks, like legitimately.

Speaker 3 (01:29:23):
Two cocktails because I was thinking, like when I usually
go to dinner with my friends on a weekend, my
dinner with tip and everything. If I get maybe like
two and I drink mostly beer anyway, but still, it's
going to be like sixty to eighty dollars no matter what.

Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
I feel like, great basay, only eighteen percent millennials and
gen Z have a strict budget for activities of friends.

Speaker 3 (01:29:42):
Oh I wish I had that self control because every
time I'm like, oh yeah, I did, duh, and then
I'll end up I hate waiting for a bill at
a bar so I'll end up just like covering it,
or somebody will have been up. You know, I just
I don't. I have no self control. But you have
all those memories. I do memories, and that's mean saltline.

Speaker 2 (01:30:00):
And those are priceless. My goodness, it's an intern Johnny
Morny Show.
