Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the city that changes the world. Peers rose with
three things you need to know for roads you got
for us.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
So, Washington Commander's cornerback Marshawn Latimore is facing charges after
being arrested in Ohio. He was reportedly taken into Cussey
outside of Cleveland on Wednesday and is accused of carrying
concealed weapons. Authority say that he was booked into jail
and later released penning for their investigation and he did
not have to postpond. Now the Commander's release the statement
saying they've been made aware of the arrests, they're gathering

(00:29):
more information.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
And they have no further comment basically at this time.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
So, the National Park Service admitted a report on improving
cell service on the National Mall yesterday. Yeah, so improving
cell coverage is essential to the visitor experience. Of what
they're saying, there's just a few cell towers in the
area and there's a lot.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Of dead zones.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Yeah, is it great, especially for four first responders because
there's a lot of large events. There's protests that happened
on the National Mall. So the Planning Commission could issue
a request for proposals to improve.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
In the next few months. I will keep you update
on that.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
And this is really awesome and DC nonprofit is benefiting
from a miss kick in last week's Baltimore Ravens game.
Now we know Tyler Lup miss a forty four yeard
attempt at time expired on Sunday, allowing Steelers to win
the game. Ry' saus so Loop spends some of his
time working with DC's john S Mulholland Family Foundation, and

(01:22):
fans of both teams have turned this into an opportunity
to do some good.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Fans have donated.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
More than forty thousand dollars to the nonprofit since the
beginning of the week, which is also amazing because Tyler
Lup and his fiance have been getting a ton of
harassment online, which is crazy, so it's really nice to
see this side of it. And officials say that the
money will be going towards expanding the reach of the
foundation's food pantry service. So very very cool. I wrote,
those are the three things you need to know today.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Thank you, Roch, You're welcome. Yesterday we're talking about the
petty reason he called off of somebody, and it was
you wonder getting how people operate. There is the one
woman called in where she had a first date with
the guy went to the movies, which neither here nor there,
but they It was one of those movie theaters where
you pick your seats, and he intentionally picked the front row,
which is crazy. Why in your empty theater the front row.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, he wanted to get worked out.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Yeah, and that yeah, that's just like there's no way
that was a good experience. My other favorite one was
this though. I was a book club with his friends
and like drinks tea with his friends and like I
just got the ick really badly. Kind of funny, funny
him and homies get tea talking about books. Very exciting
if you mix it at the podcast, just search it

(02:32):

I was just gonna say reading.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
I mean I read a lot of people read kind
people not like craft stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
I might say reading crafts makes sense realize that about you.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
I was gonna say, like knitting or something, because I
always think of like a little old lady knitting. I
know that's not the case. It's not all old ladies,
but I just I don't know. You have to be
very patient to it something. Yeah, I would say yoga.
It seems to be like that in theory about people
trying to find parking for yoga tend to get a
little angry.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Give me, oh for sure, that's fair, like a mean
girl thing. The top ones making the list pottery and
ceramic arts.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
I remember that I was the one that had to
take them out and I was like.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Woodworking made the list of people, so cool. I guess
probably it's just patience overall. Oh yeah, look at that
board games like playing board games?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Okay, is that a holly? I mean, I guess it
is all I mean, I guess, yeah, that's a group activity.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
There's a TikTok that I love of a family plane,
you know, and the kid who's clearly the youngest by
like twenty years, has like thirty cards in his hands.
They keep it version and it's one of the funniest
things is the kids crying. My family's laughing. You can
see the dad mouth and like stop, but the older
siblings like not, he gonna learn today, he gonna learn.
Gardening made the.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
List gardening, Yeah, oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Taking care of a Bonzie tree, which I guess that's
a little bit different. Reading made the list. You got
that sauce somebody said fountain pent enthusiasts. If you're like
that'd be eric.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
Sure, yeah, I feel like like I feel like those
people kind of have like you're you're probably a little
bit nerdy.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Yeah yeah, if you're if.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
I would say like calligraphy, like if you.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Cooking, okay?

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Death made the list of death metal. You're a fan
of death metal?

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I do think I'm trying to think like my friends
like death metal tend to be like very like.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Nice usually like more quiet people. Yeah whatever, like all
my friends you used to like that stuff. They were
more like quiet ourselves.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah, and then volunteering office made the listen. Yeah, let
me get an Alexandria Marino, good morning, good morning. How
are you doing doing well? Man? Big day today? What's
going on?

Speaker 4 (05:15):

at that baby's name is what?

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Nico Nico Man? Okay, so are we doing it all
out for Nico's birthday? Because my thought, Marine, don't hear
me on this. The kid's one years old. You can
just use photoshop and they can seem like the best
birthday of all time. You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (05:36):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (05:38):

that yeah, and so the kid.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
That's so I have had the best first birthday for Niko.
That's fantastic. I'm gonna send you my man short a
coffee as well. Okay, all right, awesome, thank you so much.
And one second, I would bet you somewhere maybe we
get this for like anyone listening to you, there's gotta
be a parent somewhere who like photoshopped the first birthday
to make it? Are you ai?

Speaker 2 (06:41):
And that's fine if that's what.

Speaker 1 (06:42):

pictures for my first birthday. It's just my family and
it's just me sitting on like a little rock and
chair open my gifts.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Were you looking back at that? Are you upset that
that's all I did for you?

Speaker 3 (07:02):
No?

Speaker 1 (07:03):
No, it seems like to be a shelby thing, like
find photos of your child.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
And be like I don't even know who they would
invite back then, I'm like, uh, it's mostly fair.

and they're.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
