New Zealand's film industry is taking bold new steps despite covid-19 uncertainty.
Film and lighting company Xytech has launched its biggest and newest X3 film studio in Auckland.
Chief Executive Stephen Pryor says New Zealand's low-covid status has given them an advantage in acquiring film production companies.
"You have to look at it in a different way and just as what was exactly a slight negative for us, it has become a positive from an industry perspective."
