Speaker 1 (00:00):
Do you remember a while back when Joe Biden made
this statement about some election laws in Georgia, These new
Jim Crow laws are just an athetical to who we are.
This makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle al right,
first of all, which was one of the crazier things
he's ever said. The idea of Jim Crow was not

(00:21):
that there's a scary bird keeping people from voting. Inciting
an even bigger, scarier bird is worse, Mr President. That's
not the point that the Jim Crow laws. But thanks
for trying. At the time, I remember saying that Jim
Crow on steroids thing was the worst thing any president
had ever said that I could think of, because it's
simultaneously was a bitter, bitter lie about perfectly reasonable voting

(00:42):
laws and cheapened the horrors of the Jim Crow era.
I agree, it was seriously, it was like it was
like playing with the Holocaust take a cheap political point. Well,
getting to Jonathan Turley's column, Jonathan Turley, law professor, George
Washington University. Getting to his alum. The media repeated the
claim that the Georgia laws were Jim Crow like laws.

(01:06):
Despite some of us. He says including himself and others,
noting the law fit well with an existing president and
even shared conditions with blue states like Delaware. Oh yeah,
that's that. That that part two, that George's laws were
gonna be the same as like New York and Delaware
in a whole bunch of other states. And then in
some ways they were more liberal than the laws in
Colorado where the All Star Game, the Major League Baseball

(01:28):
All Star Game was relocated too, in one of the
most moronic moves by any major sports league I've ever witnessed.
I'll just read from the column, Jim Eagle has landed
with a thud. President Joe Biden famously and somewhat bizarrely
used the name Jim Eagle to characterize the Georgia election law.
It's not enough to call it Jim Crow on steroids

(01:48):
and sick. As President Biden did at the time, he
wanted the public to know that the law was flagrantly unconstitutional. Well,
a U. S. District Judge Steve Jones and Obama a
point t heard the challenge and said, now it's okay.
Jones found the law to be entirely constitutional, and after
being declared the new Confederacy by the sitting president of

(02:11):
the United States, and George's subjected to a costly boycott.
George's could be um Georgians can now know that that
law was found constitutional by an obomba appointee, Jonathan's early rights.
Given the exhausting media coverage in condemnation of the law,
one would expect the legion of legal experts out in

(02:31):
force on a judge upholding the allegedly modern Jim Crow law. Instead,
it has been crickets, almost as if the earlier coverage
was knowingly exaggerated for public consumption. Yeah, this happened last week.
Had you heard about it at all? No, not a
word that level of utter phoniness because it was a

(02:54):
percent phony, as we've established. But it was the most
feverish rhetoric you can ad eagine, using the most horrible
imagery you can imagine. That's how fake so much of
modern outrage is. So when one of your people makes
a little mistake, makes an untoward joke, says something that
offends somebody, and the activists come screeching, claiming that their

(03:18):
souls have been torn from them and stomped on the ground,
and there could be no happiness or joy ever again
on the planet Earth because of that inappropriate joke. Just
remember how phony the outrage is almost always, and the
people who are sincere with their outrage have mental problems.
They're mentally ill, they've been coached to become neurotic. So,

(03:42):
for goodness sakes, everybody, just because you're angry doesn't mean
you're right.
