San Francisco has spent millions of dollars on an advertisement in an attempt to get tourists to come back. The video seems to leave out the tents, people on drugs, human excrement and crime but... those are just minor details.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
San Francisco is making a big advertising buy with a
new video and song to try to convince people to
start tourists to start come visiting again. I found it hilarious.
I don't know where they shot that video. That doesn't
look like any part of San Francisco I've seen recently.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Union Square is now an armed camp and you're slightly
less likely to be victim mized. Come on back to
San Francisco, where you're slightly less likely to be victim mized.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Yeah, that's my entry.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yes, no, no, San Francisco. I remember back in the day.
We've been on in San Francisco in the morning for
twenty years.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Correct.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
It used to be that, I think the number three
tourist destination city in the world. I don't know what
it is now, but they're going to try to bring
people back with this well.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Known to the most beautiful city.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
In the world where he's never the same, but always
San Francisco.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
San Francisco, I'm coming home again, you all again.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
And then a bunch of gleaming pictures of people having
fun and it doesn't look like any parts of San
Francisco that you really see. It's I love freaking San Francisco.
But everybody I know who goes says the same thing.
I mean, you land at the airport and take an
uber to downtown, you're gonna see so many tents and

(01:23):
people laying in the street that are either dead or
passed out, and needles and condoms and human pooh and
the and the whatever story you're going to. They got
a cop standing in front of it, and the door's locked,
and they gotta give you the eye before they let
you in.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I mean, come on, some of that's exaggerated.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
You can walk for two three blocks without stepping in
human excrement San Francisco anyway.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
So that's that
