Speaker 1 (00:00):
Owner. If John Stewart kind of got tired of that
running up animal sanctuary thing that he he made a
deal with his wife, will do my thing for a while,
then we'll do your thing. My thing was being one
of the most important people in America and one of
the most influential voices in politics in the entire country,
if not the world. Your thing is rescuing pets. So
I guess I'll quit my thing and help you rescue

(00:20):
pets for a while.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Sure. Yeah, Showing mercy toward limping goats is her thing,
which is a good thing.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Right right, rabbits whose eyesight isn't so good, which is
weird with all the curret'sy.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Near sighted rabbits. Exactly, No, honey, I'll abandoned my show.
It's cool. No, the Upstate Limping goat Sanctuary is. That's
a beautiful dream. And I'm with you.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Was I on the cover of Time magazine? Is the
most trusted voice in news in America? Which he was, Yes,
I was. But you know what, two legged dogs on
a cart they need help. That's a valid use of
my time, too, sweetheart.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Let's do this.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Jeez, I shouldn't be bocking that because it's very nice
because you know, he got married and they'd been married
a long time and they made a deal.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
You know, your career for a while, and then and
then it might something I want to do right, And honestly,
maybe the goat sanctuary is up and running and functioning,
and he's freed up to get back to the other thing.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yes, abandoned pot belly pigs have a place to be
and he can go back to talking about the news
of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Right, full grown hogs that were passed off as potbelly
pigs is pig let's. Yeah, they need a home. How
long did that lie? We got a home in mob belly?
By the way, how long did that last? The Vietnamese
pot bellied pig phenomenon? I remember that was the hot
pet for I'm guessing two three years in the mid nineties. Yeah, yeah,

(01:49):
it might have been longer than that by the time
the early adapters had gone through the mass adaption period,
the Walmart period. Yeah, that was that was probably five six,
seven years. Would did you ever meet Christie's pop belly pig? Michael?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Remember Christy?

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Oh yeah, she had a pig. Yeah, yeah, but that
was that was half a hog. Those things are supposed
to be tiny. This thing was. It was a solid
two hundred pounds, wasn't it.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
That's pretty big.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Yeah, there was a hog. She had a pet hog.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I think I lived in the house.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah. I think she took a bath with it. No,
that's what she said. I'm not kidding. What gave it
a bath? She didn't take a bath. Okay, that is
a completely different thing. Holy cow. Never mind.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Light some candles and put on some monticism dot com
what yes, Michael, that was that was out of line.
That is a particularly unique kink that only a few
people appreciate.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yes, exactly. Uh And I was going to transition to this.
I cannot translate this candles. I can't go into this
from that. We either have to take a break or
do something different, because this is not porky porky room
for two in here. I meany but I mean, but anyway,
