Boeing can't seem to stay out of its own way. Now, the Boeing C.E.O. has confirmed that the recent problems have been caused by "quality escape." Whatever that means...

Boeing is accountable, but when pressed on exactly what had
taken place, had an odd response.

How did an unsafe airplane fly in the first place?

Because a quality escape occurred?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Can you explain what is a quality escape?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
I think that's for description of what people are finding
in their inspections, anything that could potentially contribute to an accident.

What quality didn't escape a part of the plane did?
That's a terrible answer when you asked how an unsafe
plane flew in the first place. We need more information
than essentially the plane was unsafe. Yeah, everybody knows that
there's a hole in.

But I can't believe with the pr disaster Boeing is
in maybe the worst one I've ever seen from major
American company. He didn't have something better to than some
wrote corporate speak, a quality escape occurred?

I think that's a great example of if you're in
a position like that, find somebody who you know will
tell you the truth. Somebody comes to me and says,
we're thinking of calling this a quality escape, Joe, what
do you think I would tell him?

I think late night comics are going to mock us
over that phrase.

you kidding me?

and fulfill that role.

think that is clear.

What that's not even orwellian because Orwell at least gave
credit to our would be oppressors that they would be
reasonably good at their jobs.
