Joe Shows Live on ninety three three f l Z
eight hundred four O nine ninety three ninety three. Did
you I'll stand up? Did you lose a friendship over
a relationship? Eight hundred four nine ninety three ninety three.
I want to hear about that, because Jed, I guess

(00:22):
you and your your buddy aren't friends anymore.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I'm friended on Facebook, blocked on Instagram. And then I ended,
thank god, I why you have too many friends? I'm
just kidding. This is a guy who I felt away
about it Ashley and Joe and Terry because I had
been in several weddings with this person. He was a
close college friend and he had on fronted me and
did all this stuff on social media. And I texted him,

(00:45):
I said, is everything okay? And then he told me
that his wife doesn't agree with what I post on
social media and doesn't think that I'm a good friend
to be around because I don't go up and visit
them in Ohio during the summers. So I'm trying to
be the bigger person in this situation. And I said, well, look,
if your wife wants you to do that, then that's

(01:06):
the decision. You're gonna make But yeah, essentially I lost
a friend because their significant other does not like me.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
That is insane. I don't even think that. I mean,
is he married?

Speaker 2 (01:18):
You said he's been married for three years now and
has a kid.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I what? And he told you straight up it's because
my wife.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, he said that his wife doesn't agree with what
I post on social media with.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Did you say, hey, man, are you a man?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Well?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
I kind of wanted to go there, do you have
your own like mine? Ashley? Ever since he made And
I'm not trying to be disrespectful on anyone, because I
really do like this person. But as soon as he
was like, hey, like I got to take it easy
and take a back seat from our friendship, like what,
Like I always thought it was the person that I

(01:54):
could like call on if I was in the neighborhood
anything like that, But turns out that's not the case.
And I don't know, I'm really this is I wouldn't
say it's the level of Joe and I's friendship. It's
probably a couple of notches down below that.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
But that's so sad. I'm sorry you have to go
through that.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Like, for example, if my girlfriend Redina was like, hey,
I don't think Joe's a good person.

Speaker 5 (02:19):
I would have.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Because you're.

Speaker 6 (02:25):
Are you just say like, okay, like that's my friend.
Joe's not your friend. You don't have to deal with him, like, oh,
you don't have to be around him.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
And there are certain friendships where it's like no negotiable,
I will keep the friend over the significant other. And
and they're married, so it's a little bit different.

Speaker 6 (02:38):
But but even so, I just maybe because I'm not married,
I just still have the mentality that, like, we're still individuals.
If you don't like my friend, okay, that's fine, but
this is my friend. You don't have to, you know,
talk to them or be around them and say, for instance,
you do have to be around them. You just gotta
suck it up because you're my wife.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
So and I think the whole thing that's ironic about
but I think men over women are complete whoosies.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
That is true.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
I think I think more men give up friendships one
relationships and women give up relationships.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yea friendship, that is true because his power.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
So you're like, I gotta go.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Jed, and I had a very very very close friend here.
You're aware of who literally couldn't have changed even more. Yeah,
got in a relationship, but.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I think it's like iron she wanted me to be
completely out of his life because I never visited them.
It's like, okay, well you wanted me alive.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Yeah, It's like, why don't you guys come out here
to visit.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
I'm not going to Columbus, Ohio in the middle of.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Our pit of the Midwest.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
You don't have to visit all the time to say
that your friend.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Are you talking through a tunnel?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I can barely off bagtan speaker place, Rihanna, what's going on?

Speaker 7 (04:06):
Okay? So I had a best friend in high school
who would constantly blur the line between his best friend
and like she wanted to be a girlfriend, and she
would constantly say, oh, when i'm single.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Will date.

Speaker 7 (04:18):
So that came into a big problem because when she
started dating uh, someone who was addicted to substances, and
I would kept telling her, hey, this is bad for you.
She took it as me being jealous, and YadA, YadA, YadA.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Ended do you miss the friendship?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Yes, a little heard is she No, she's moved off
to Michigan and they haven't seen her in three years.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
Since then, Yeah, listen, the breakups are always hard when
it comes to friendship.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Amelia, you almost lost both a significant other and a friend.
And by the way, Jed lost a friend. His friend
basically told them, Hey, my wife doesn't like you. I
can't really talk to you anymore. What do you think?

Speaker 4 (05:11):
I think it's a difficult topic to talk about with
a lot of people because a lot of people probably
lose their significant other and they're probably in the same
situation that I was. I caught both of them flirting
with one another, and she even admitted it and wouldn't stop.
So I had to make a choice whether I was

(05:32):
going to fix my relationship with my best friend or
with my husband. This happened about seven years ago, and
we were best friends for fifteen plus years.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Hey, I noticed that you said that a lot of
people have lost a friend and a lot of people
go through exactly what you went through. Do you believe
a lot of significant others and their significant other's friends
are secretly talking to each other and trying to hook up.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
It's sad. There's even Yeah, there's support groups for people
that have been in my situation, and there's thousands of
women and men that have gone through this situation.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
I've never looked at any of my friends significant other
that's attractive.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
That's insane to me.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
I I think it's interesting you say that, Amelia, because
we have had a lot of that happen with with
War of the Roses. We actually have one that has
not been released yet. Listen, maybe you'll forget about it,
maybe you won't. I'll already tell you. We do catch
a cheater and then we find out that it is
their friend who was the other woman. So, Amelia, I'm

(06:40):
sorry you had to go through that, and you're not
alone like you Like you said Ashley, Listen, at the
end of the day, I'm super just I'm super excited
about this. I think that this is an awesome opportunity
for me.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Yeah, more time on the sticks.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Hey, who's who's not given up our friendship us
