Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Joe Show Show eight hundred four own Na ninety
three ninety three. Is anyone else like Ashley when it
comes to this eight hundred and four oh nine ninety
three ninety three. If you get offered it for free,
do you take it?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
No matter what? Do you have time to? What do
you Oh? No, I was just cleaning my teeth.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Eight hundred four o n ninety three ninety three. Tell
us about the bandana that you took?
Speaker 2 (00:29):
So I got what did I get?
Speaker 3 (00:31):
The other?
Speaker 4 (00:32):
I got a freeze. I got a cookie butter freeze
from Dutch Bros. Yesterday or the day before yesterday, and
they were giving out free dog bandanas, so all you
got to do is order a drink and they're like, hey,
we're giving off free dog bandanas.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Do you want to have one for your dog?
Speaker 4 (00:46):
And I was like, absolutely, my dog would love a
Dutch Bros. Bandana.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Oh my god, you look at Doorable in it. And
he gave me one.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
And the whole history of the show we've done, Ashley
has notoriously been a dog hater. So you're like the
last person that would get a dog but it was free. Yeah,
but like, you know, do you really need that I don't.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
I do.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
How cute is this guy's how cute Dutch putt?
Speaker 1 (01:15):
It's it's very obviously, very cheaply made and kind of ugly,
but yeah, sure whatever, I love it. Free.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
I'm taking anything free. I don't care.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
That's why you go to what is it Costco? When
I want to eat something real quick?
Speaker 2 (01:27):
The samples. Yeah, I love a good sample, a free.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Listen, free food. I do like that. I just I
don't know. And maybe it's because we get a lot
of things sent to us and whatnot. I'm not the
biggest like free. Like if there's a free table, I'm
going there. I had I avoid, but I'm a hoarder.
So like if I grab something at the moment it's
in my possession, it will never leave. And that causes
(01:51):
immense like stress for my fiance. Every time I bring
something home, I feel like she wants to strangle.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
Me these days. A lot ain't freeman. I gotta take you.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
That's why when I go to the bank, which is
where where that I go inside.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
I don't even wear that rob them.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
No, I'm gonna take all the pins because they always
have free ink pins when you go into the bank.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Okay, hold one second. You know those aren't free. No,
they're not to take. They're for people to send.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Check a thousand pins that are usually there. It's like,
at least it's there for free.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
I might have to call Florida Central Credit and be like, hey,
are those pens for free?
Speaker 4 (02:24):
And listen banks they always have the nice pens.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
They do Central Credit and you have some pretty good pens.
But still I don't I'm not like, I don't know
if it's free. I don't like taking free things. I
feel guilty. Especially I'm not going to use it like
a dog bandana.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I'm going to use it.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
That's like if I had they had cat giveaways taking
away the cat to why I'm not gonna do that
because there could be other people who actually want to
use that for their cat.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
You know, Jed, I was thinking about you when I
got this dog bandana. I was like, Jet has a dog.
I want to make sure Jeed's dog is you know,
represented for us. So I got to figure dogs.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, the dog that you laughed at on Facebook yesterday.
It's kind of like and like, this is not hating
on them. They threw me a birthday party.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Like I've talked a billion times about how much I
love our Tampa Bay Rays. They are so gracious enough
to come to the studio and they give like all
the promo items.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeshead, bibbleheads.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
I mean last year with the City connects it with skateboards,
it was like really really cool stuff. I had to
tell them like, I'm good on all that.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
And I took it off.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
I don't know, I'm taking everything, water bottles, sun visors, towels, anything,
because nowadays ain't nothing freeze. I'm as well get to
walk in.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Yeah, but at what point do you just have enough?
Speaker 4 (03:40):
You know there's yeah, I don't have enough ever ever, ever, no, ever,
absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Hold on, let's get this person on Terry. Could you
put them through, Christy. Christy, you've got a saying go ahead.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
If it's free, it's for me. I'm all about the free.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Stuff really, And what's like the best free item you've
ever received?
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Oh my gosh. Well, okay, so is winning something considered free?
I mean I've won stuff, but yeah, I mean I
actually back in the day, this radio station did a
pick a purse and I won a purse off of ninety.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Three three nice.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
So I mean, you know it's long ago.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Did we do that. Are you talking about when we
did that, like five years ago? What did we do? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
yeah that was us who did that.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Sometimes people are like, remember back in the day when
we did that, and I'm like, oh, maybe the Cane
Show did it. We did that or that show before,
but so yeah, no, we did that. Yeah, oh wow,
well that was pretty nice. We give away designer handbags.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
It was awesome. Yeah, Like, and you know my thing
is is I feel like somebody could always use it.
So even if I can't use something that I got
for free, I'm sure I adore somebody. I'm giving it
to Jets with absolutely. Yeah, absolutely, I feel like, you know,
there's always somebody that could use something, so take it
(05:11):
and pass it along because you know it's free anyways,
and I'm sure somebody could use it.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
Sure, that's a great way to think about it. If
I if Jargejad's not around, Terry's not around, and I
can't get them something, I'll get it for free and
I'll give it to you guys.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, and then you say you bought it, Christie, you're
the best. I love it. If it's free, it's for me,
it's for me. Hey, Jim how's it going?
Speaker 1 (05:38):
What? Uh hey, so wait, hold on, you say that
depends at the bank they are free to take.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Yeah, well why else would they have about fifty of
them out? Thank you an answer? Yes, you're probably right.
They ain't going to sanitize them each and every time,
so I would people can use it is true allin' fun.
What else do you take?
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Oh? I used to work at the golf store. I
used to get free golf the golf balls. Used to
give them mount to my friends. They would give free
golf balls to you. Yeah, Companies like Callaway and other
brands would give some workers some pree Now would you
want that?
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (06:20):
Because I I give out free golf balls every single
little time I golf, I lose about forty five of them,
so I yes, I would completely take that. But those
are things that I would use. I'm talking about you
know what I mean. I'm not taking a dog bandana
my dog?
Speaker 3 (06:38):
What go for me?
Speaker 2 (06:42):
I guess if it's free, it's for me. I like it. Jim,
You're the goat.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Lauren Bag Good morning guys, Lauren and Dundon.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
What I said that? Or when I board the cruise?
Sayen from Donato?
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Better I cannot wait Louren and dun Eden for person
to guess the secret sound. By the way, that was
a really really big deal. We're excited about that, Lauren.
You even will tay Mar Greeneville needs to be careful
with you coming on the cruise. You will clear out
a hotel room.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Yeah, I absolutely will. I mean mouth washed the soaps.
I even took their tissue boxes. My daughter needed tissue
for school, so it was like water lists.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
I took those tsue boxes over the summer.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
What hotel has the best free stuff?
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Or well, what hotel has the best stuff in the
room that you take for free?
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (07:31):
I like the moderate resorts at Disney.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
We take their stuff pretty damn good.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
They are pretty damn good, you know, like places like
Disney and like Universal has it too. Like I'm staying
at a hotel in Universal this weekend. I'm very excited
because I love their soaps. Yeah, they put it on
the they like lock it into the wall. Now they're like,
you are not taking it. In my opinion, the best soap,
the best soap is at a Disney resort hotel.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Genuine it is.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
It's the scene. It's the greatest and I've even thought about,
because you know, like when pring in your own bottle.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
I'm pampered a listen will pack our toilet trees because
the one time she had me do that, I forgot
every medicine we need to take at night. I've even
thought about, because she puts the the toothbrushes and plastic bags,
I've thought about just taking the toothbrushes out of the
plastic bags and then pumping the soap into.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Okay, so the next time it Disney, I gotta try it,
because I've never used it, I might do that.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
I like that, Lauren, You're the best.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Travel bottles. Empty and fill them.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Lauren, get ready, we're gonna have some fun.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Yes, yes, can't wait. You guys have a great day.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
You too,
