McDonald's is rounding cash transactions to their nearest nickel at
some of their locations. So the rounding policy effects customers
who are using cash without exact change. So, for example,
if your meal is twelve dollars and six cents, they're
gonna either round it up or down. So since it's
close to five, they're gonna round it down to five cents,

So it's gonna be twelve five instead of twelve o six. Now,
if it was twelve oh eight, they're gonna round it
to twelve oh ten. You're twelve ten. You see what
I'm saying. And they're doing this because the US Mint
stopped producing Benny's earlier this year, creating shortages for businesses
that rely on cash transactions. The rounding only applies to cash,
Credit cards and app purchases will not be affected.
