Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're talking about the hobby thing yesterday. I'm gonna call
my fiance now we get around, we're gonna talk about
how who's got the hobby, who's got a significant other
whose hobby takes time away from them? Because we're gonna
call Alyssa right now and she's gonna talk about Fortnite.
I've been trying to, trying to try and to trying

(00:22):
to get her to play Fortnite with. It is to
the point where I'm like her, some of her friends,
our friends will play it. Girls I'm talking about and
I'll be like, can you just tell her.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Give me one second? All right, there's your one second Hello.
I love Hi. Hi. So I'm talking about the whole
Fortnite discussion. It's because of Ashley. Ashley was like, well
with because I told her, I was like, Lissa, sometimes
it gets a little annoyed. She comes home, I'm playing
the game and then I go to bed, or you
go to bed and I'm still playing the game. So

(00:57):
I She's like, well, how long should you be able
to enjoy that hobby? How long do you? But first off,
tell me about what you think about Fortnite, because you've
got you've got Jed and I in the studio and
we want to hear your thoughts.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
I think there needs to be a time limit on it.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
I just think you guys play it for so long.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
It's like hours on hours. One hour turns into.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Two hours, and it's totally fine. But like when you're
playing until nine o'clock and I'm ready for bed, and
then you try to snuggle out next to me, and
you know, you try to make.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
It right.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I'm gonna sailed exactly. That ship has sailed. Acknowledge me
when I get home.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Let's do that when I get home and then go
back to your video games.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Does he even put the sticks down when you come home?
Or he just yells hey babe, Oh he does. I'll
give him this.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
He does get up, he gives me a kiss, takes
off the head bones, but then he goes right back.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
But he does acknowledge all the second though. You're telling
me put down the sticks, you pick up my stick,
We play our game, we drop, and then you're good. Yes.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
I think what really got me was the Stranger Things.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
That's what made me up share that share that story too.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, Stranger Things was releasing and we have been waiting
for this for four years. And it was eight o'clock
and he's like, I'm going to play a couple of
games with the guys.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I'm like, no problem, Like I'm gonna get in the shower.
He's like, I'm literally going to be thirty minutes. No problem.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Well, I was nice and I let him play for
an hour and then it's eight thirty at this time,
so I'm irritated.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I'm like, hello, like Stranger Things, Netflix is crashed. No,
it did crash. It's up and running. Now let's go.
And he ended up playing for like an hour and
a half when I was already nice and let him
play the extra thirty minutes, right, and you did literally
used it. So I was like I was giving him
the dust stair of all dust stairs, okay, to be fair,

(03:04):
until he got off. To be fair, I went to publics.
I saw that they had old fashioned mix and I
had a whiskey that someone had given me. So I'm like, oh,
it's on vacation, Like this was like Wednesday night. We
didn't have the show on Thursday. Yeah, so I had
like thirty seven old fashions. It was just late. I
was gone, so to be fair. It wasn't even my fault.

(03:30):
It kind of was my fault. It was your fault. Okay,
So this is what we're gonna I'm gonna call you
on the radio because people are going to want to
talk to you. Okay, okay, I have a meeting at
one o'clock. Perfect, Well, I've got commercials. I got to
play at eight fifty three. So hold on one second.
I love you, perfect, love you all right, one second,
calling right now, because I know we're a number by heart.

(03:52):
Yeah what I don't know. I don't know my own
number by heart. I have to look it up whenever
I give someone toy. That know, I can't stuff. I
gotta study to study. Let's see her pick up. Hello, Hi,
all right, my man, go ahead. You're on with Alyssa.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
What the old girl?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Listen, hey, Mayomi. Mayomi used to not be into Fortnite.
You know that she found, you know, of the fide
games that before she used to you know, be into Fortnite.
She used to play this game and it was to
make me break my concentration. So she would walk out
in front of me and you know, and keep panting
me and then see, you know, grab me and then

(04:40):
it gets to apply to slow sticks.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
I'm like, I don't even want to play no more.
I'm gone, I don't want to play no more. And
I just throw them remote that they might be a game.
You know, you like stranger things. I think they got
stranger things mini games on Fortnite. That's how you got
into it.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
They could just I could just not play video games
and spend.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Up with Naomi.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
We That's that's the thing is. It's not like Alyssa
is not invited. She's invited in on all of this.
And it's not just the guys playing. Naomi's playing. Alyssa's
friend Kelly and her husband. They want to play my
friend Kelly and your husband, they want to play with us.
This is a guy and a girl thing. She plays Mark.

(05:22):
I used to come home from work, Alyssa would be
playing Mario Kart. She'd be playing Mario Part. She knows
how to play video games. She's good at me, she
beats me.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
And such a guy right now, because the issue isn't
her playing video games.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yes, she enjoys playing video it's the length of time
and you're playing video game.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
It's sometimes I have to agree with us, you know it.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
What are you? Are you jewels? Did you bump your
head last? What are you doing right now? You're not
helping the call.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
I'm still trying to get the wedding imbitation, you know.
So I got a do we do get we do
get accessive, we do, we go, we play box.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
It is a rush. And then when like one person
like Jules is probably the most mature in it, he
goes all right, I'm tired. I gut to get Like
you ever noticed that Jed? He gets off quick when
he's done, and it makes me sad. Yeah, it makes
me sad. I would agree, all right here, hold on,
hold on one second, because we've got Caitlyn on as well. Caitlyn,
you're on with my fiance, you're on with a Oh

(06:31):
my man, and then the rest of the Joe Show.
What's up Kaitlyn?

Speaker 2 (06:35):

Speaker 1 (06:36):

Speaker 5 (06:39):

might be like one of those rare females, but I
he could.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Play all night if he wants.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
I really don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Video game? Is it because you don't want to spend
time with him?

Speaker 5 (06:51):
No? No, I actually I'm sitting right next to him.
I love to watch him play. Actually, I get really
into it with him, you know, talking to every and
I sit there and doom, scroll on TikTok and watch
all my girly things.

Speaker 1 (07:05):

Speaker 3 (07:23):
There we go.

Speaker 6 (07:24):

I will say I sit right next to him, but
I Don'm not sit there for an hour and a half.

Speaker 1 (07:32):

Speaker 6 (07:33):

I get over it. But that's why you're in the
honeymoon stage.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
I love that for you. Are we not in the
honeymoon stage?

Speaker 2 (07:42):

Speaker 1 (07:42):

video games?

of time that you do.

Speaker 1 (07:59):

convince you otherwise. But we're gonna get you on Fortnite. Yeah,
we gotta get her on. We gotta get any.

Speaker 1 (09:03):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
