Is there anyone who explores abandoned places?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Go ahead? Jed So.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
I saw a real yesterday of this going through an
abandoned shopping mall, and I thought it was like one
of the coolest things ever. Now I know there's at
least the top of my head, I can't think of
any at least near my house. I want to go
someplace near my house case I got escape, but I
want to go and explore abandoned places. I like, what's
that one tower that's off of two seventy five. I

(01:19):
saw another guy do a video there that would the
word like the tower is abandoned and he's gone up
and done the towers. Have you ever seen that show?
It's like right off at two seventy five. If you
head southbound on two seventy five, like you're coming towards Tampa,
you'll see it on your right. I want to explore
the abandoned places. I want to go to like a
spooky house or I know this is like right up
Katie Summer's Alley. Absolutely, even like a shutdown restaurant, you know,

(01:43):
would be kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Are you like trying to find ghost or just like, well, so.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Ashley funny, you should say that one guy in previous videos, is.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
It funny or scary? It's scary? You should say that.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Uh No, But this one guy who does the same videos,
and I'm blinking on his name, but he went to
a place where there was an old block box that
he broke into and there was cash and.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Jewelry you could.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
You could find I don't know, like a rat infestation.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
There's we don't know what we're going to find in
abandon building. I would love to go to.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
An abandon building.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
What do you guys know about the shutdown park at
Disney World.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I've heard of adventure park, but I don't know anything
about shutdown park.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yeah, I've seen stuff on TikTok and because there aren't
there parts of is this that Disneyland or Disney World
Disney World. Yeah, that there's a parks that have been
like kind of just like they had like a water park.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah, it was like an adventure type of thing where
you would go. Is that what you're talking about. Are
you talking about the defunct land, the one that got shut.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
I'm talking about the defunct land that had like a
million lawsuits against it.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
There.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
No, not that they shut it down just because they
were building other things and they just it got old.
But there was like it was like a water park
type of deal that people could go to at Disney
and it was on an island and they shut it
down and when they shut it down.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
They just left everything there.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
So people were exploring it and it was like stuck
in time. It was super sick because then like the
grass is growing and stuff that it wouldn't have been
normally and they ended up having to like really fence
it off and make it damn near impossible to get through.
But people do that, they make YouTube videos of it.
And then there's people who that's that's like their hobby

(03:32):
is they go to theme parks and they sneak into
the closed attractions.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
You know who.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
They've done it at appcots.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
You know who's also done this. David Jones. He goes
on his roller blades and he goes through the abandoned
all in Serasota.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
I've seen that.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Yeah, wait, he goes like on his roller I swear.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I think it's like what's his Instagram? It's like roller
skating dat or David America, David Joe. David Jones is
a legend. I told him this but before.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
There's been times where I've baked cookies and I've looked
up and David Jones is looking at me. You ever
seen him in his awning commercials? You've never seen him
in his awning commercials? Have you guys ever seen Yeah? No, no, no,
David Jones is like the man. And if you've ever
listened to radio in Sarasota, you hear them. David and Meredith.

(04:22):
We love them and also they well, he he does
like infomercials and stuff, so he has one with a
vacuum where he's cleaning out stuff, and then he's got
another one with an awning. It's like the sunshade thing.
But I've been baking cookies before and I look up
and I.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Go, oh my god, dave it, look at that. Look
at him.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
He's and by the way, it's an infomercial, so definitely
it starts. I begin, I'm done, and about twenty seconds
later his.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Commercial is learn something new every day.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Hey, oh my man, we're talking about abandoned places. You've
gone to an abandoned train station.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Abandoned Well, so when I was a kid, I used
to be heavy into GRAFFEEDI and in New York City
there are abandoned train stations that you have to like
find secret entrances to get to them. And me and
my friend had found out that the McDonald's on thirty
third and fifth Avenue, across the street from the Empire
State Building in the basement as a door that opens

(05:26):
up into one of the abandoned subway systems. And we
explored the old Grand Census station, the old forty seconds
like it's a su Yeah, it's it's insane. Like it's
actually so creepy because you hear the water drops and
they like and they echo that. We used to make
a weekend Yeah, we used to make weekend trips to
go through all these tunnels and we would take our

(05:48):
our stuff that you know, the devil's let us with
us and we would just go down there and just
go out there and rip out in the tunnels. And
it's a city under a city under there.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
So cool, I mean place there's something about like and
then like, I you know, imagine going into a mall
and it looks like stranger things, like not like the
upside down, but it looks you know, it's got like
the the teal and pink chairs and a you know,
food court would be so cool.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
To be sick.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
The catacombs would be fire like that. Have you seen
the catacombs up in France?

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Like the abandon.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
It's not abandoned, yeah, no, that they do tours and stuff. Now,
my brother wanted to watch it if we were going
to go in there.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
It's a good thing you didn't. It is up.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Do you know what the catacombs are? It's just dead people.
It's just stulls everywhere in the walls. Why because it's like, uh,
it's it's history.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
It's kind of cool. I'm a big tour guy.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
There are no good museums here, there's no good tours
or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
But if me to a place of the tour, just
I'll be there. I love a good tour.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Also, Joe, I found out the name of the tower.
It's the Sulfur Springs Water Tower. That's right off to
seventy five and you can go up to it. It's
probably it sits in a park.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
It looks like a castle. I do.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Hold on, let's do it for these abandoned places.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
All right, we gotta do. I'm down to go. I
am one thousand per ago.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
We gotta get the glasses. We gotta get the meta glasses.
We go send me and as the crab.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Let's do it. No, you're not eated. We need you.
We'll all go in together as a team. So I
can't take all of us out. You know, I gotta
stick back to make sure y'all go. No, I have to. No,
you gonna tell them what happened? You will, because you're
all gonna go. Come on. He oh my man, love
you buddy,
