Speaker 1 (00:00):
Sir, this is a hospital waiting room. It's one more thing.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I'm strong.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Andy.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
We had a Michelangelo led podcast or than a Weekend
Now like Katie led podcast.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
Uh break, I really do enjoy the long running joke, sir,
this is Wendy's drive through all the place amusing.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
I appreciate you resetting it. We have breaking Obama's divorce news.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Wow, breaking news on the podcast that's etathetical to the
idea of this podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Jack Anethema. Uh. Michelle Obama just said in a sit
down interview between the two of them, there hasn't been
one moment in our marriage where I've thought about quitting
on my man. Michelle Obama said, oh, wow, okay, I
don't know where the divorce rumors came from. I actually
liked that she came out whenever that was a month
or so ago and said there were times when the

(00:54):
kids were younger and they were in the White House
that she did not enjoy him very much. More people
should say that out loud, Oh yeah, rough patch, sure, yeah,
well it's real. Well, of course it is. More. People
should say that out loud, though, so that there aren't
some people that have unrealistic expectations for how pleasant things
should be always right. AnyWho, what do you got, Katie?

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Oh dude, So yesterday was a little bit of an
s storm and Drew went through some stuff, ended up
in the emergency room.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
He's totally fine, everything's good.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
But so I went with him, and I was sitting
in the waiting area and it was an active waiting room.
I mean there was a guy who walked by and
he had blood coming out of his head.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
There was another hit.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
He I mean he had his ear was bandaged and
he was bleeding down his face.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Another chick was puking into one of those hospital bags.
The guy next to me was not well, don't I
don't know what was going on with him, but I'm
suspecting some liver issues because he was a different color.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Like I mean, it was, Oh boy, there was a
lot going on.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
When you show up to the ER, it is a
it is a trip to the human zoo. Well, and
you never have any idea. I mean, the most recent
time I went to the r just got luck time
of day, day whatever when I went because I had
too much coffee. Oh my god, the most embarrassing ER
trip ever. I was there for three hours. Uh, there
was like nobody there nice except one of our babysitters,

(02:30):
and that was uncomfortable for both of us. Why are
you here? Why are you here? But there was like
nobody there. But I've gone to the VR before where
it's like what you just described. It's it's just a
sea of unfortunate circumstances.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Yeah, the puking thing that reminds me. I used to
use this, used to give this as a handy hint
if you're in the emergency room, because it worked for
me at one point as a kid. I I got
too many concussions. But at one point in the egency room, yeah,
I know, and it and and it was like yeah, okay,
great to fill out the paperwork, all right, now sit down,
we'll let you know when we're ready for you. Some
time went by and I went into shock and I

(03:07):
started to puke everything, and it was like that good guy,
that's who we're helping, get Pukey mcpukerson back here.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
That was a good plan to have that good call.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
They've got bags now, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
They've got these bags that have a plastic hole or
a plastic like ring so you don't get it anywhere.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
So I the ring innovation that America is known for,
That's right.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
But so I'm sitting there and I'm on my phone
and I'm I noticed this guy and he's probably i'd
say early sixties, long, rugged beard looks, you know, he
looks like a hardened old older guy walks by, and
he walks by again, and then he walks by a
third time, and then the fourth time he stops and

(03:50):
he looks up at the television, which at this time
is showing the hospital rules in Spanish. So I'm pretty
sure he's not obtaining any info from what's going going
on on the screen. And he finally just comes and
sits down in the chair directly next to me.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Oh boy, And I'm I'm scrolling out.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
My head down next to the cute blonde, and I.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
In my head, I'm looking at my phone, going, come on.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Dude, this is not the place to sit next to
the cute blonde and start a conversation.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
And sure enough, man, they sure make us wait in
here forever, don't they.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
And I'm all, yeah, yeah, they.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Do, sou man. You know, I just I just moved
here and I'm taking care of my mom and blah blah, blah,
and I'm like, going, good god, sir, like I said, sir,
this is a waiting room in a hospital. I don't
and he's talking kind of loud, so everybody's kind of
looking at us, and I'm at this point I'm giving

(04:44):
every female nurse I can the women's like help eyes,
like could you like maybe.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Man, some dudes shoot their shot everywhere, everywhere, doesn't matter
emergency room.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
So the last part of it, he goes, yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
You know, so, so basically what I'm getting as I
just I would like to show you a good time,
you know, and my mom.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
He actually went that far us.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
He said, I would like to show you.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
And also I was sitting there kind of like this,
like trying to blatantly flash my wedding ring hoping maybe
you know now.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
That didn't work nothing to him? Zero. What is it?
What these dudes? Where did it come from?

Speaker 4 (05:22):
I don't know, but well, you got the generation that
is terrified or uninterested in contacting a woman in any way,
in any setting, and then you've.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Got that guy. Can we go for something in between?
You manage some middle ground, some of it in this generation,
but some of it is just the kind of guy
and it's got to be disappointing to women that you've got,
like now eighty percent of the population won't approach you
at all, But then you still got that five percent
of weirdos that are going to approach you, even if
you've got a wedding ring on and you're sitting in
the er.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
I felt like I was I was living in a dream.
But so the end of it, he goes, yeah, I'd
like to show you.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
A good time. You know my mom's house.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
It has a ranch, and I've got a horse. She's
not a pretty little pony anymore that you could ride.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
But I've got a horse, boy.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
And thank god, at that moment, Drew came out, Wow.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
He's so eighty. I'm sorry, I think you're being narrow minded.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
Shut up. Michael made him for coffee once, he might. Okay,
you guys are useless. That is something. So you got
the wedding ring, you've got the setting of the emergency room,
which is ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Chick puking six feet to my right.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Well, when you mentioned he's in his early sixties, so
quite the age gap. So I'm gonna hit on somebody
decades younger than me who's married at the er.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
At a bassy woman pukes within arms reach. Yes, I
mean that's an optimist. You gotta salute him for that.
Or he's an insane person.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Maybe try bumble instead of this.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Have you heard of tinder?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Wow? Wow?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
If was just you know, and he was a nice
enough guy, you know, if I had met him, Let's
say we were at the bar and he wanted to
talk for a little while, undivided attention. Absolutely, But dude,
emergency room waiting room no.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Wow, Yeah, that's just amazing. I could show you a
good time check any better time than this being at
the emergency room.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Like we often say when we run into various sorts
of people, I want to interview him at length.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Know more about all the other aspects of his life,
which have to also be interesting.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Run is your last attempt at a funeral.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Home to say is there a limit for you? While
the body's still warm?

Speaker 4 (07:46):
At an accident scene? Thank god you survived, ma'am? Say
would you like to while she's giving birth? Would that
be too much?

Speaker 1 (07:55):
I see your cars a little messed up. I have
a horse you can ride.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
The babies come. Would you still hit on that woman? Now?

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Clearly you were with somebody like I don't know forty
weeks ago, but are.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
You single now? I like kids. Kid is not a
deal breaker for me. You just thought i'd let you know. Up,
I can see the head anyway. Just Tuesday work I
met my wife had an accident. Seen she was on
the stretcher.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
She had hit her head and I asked her out
and she said yes, and here we are married today.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Yeah, find love anywhere.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
I kid.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Well, I guess that's it.
