The New Zealand spring of cricket got underway last night with game one of the Chappell-Hadlee series between the Black Caps and Australia.

The Black Caps were under all sorts of pressure early, slumping to 6-3 within two overs - until Tim Robinson stood up and pushed the Black Caps to a competitive total of 181-6.
