Speaker 1 (00:08):
I'm running outside.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Okay, we're excited to hear it.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
So my ex husband he was cheating on me, which
is I'm sorry, No, it's fine.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
It is what it is.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
So whenever I found out he was cheating on me
with someone that he was working with, whenever I left him,
I called his work and I told them that they
were seeing each other, and it got them fired.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
And they don't know that was you. Obviously, No, thank

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Oh, thank you, appreciate you have a good day. You
do by Hello, Hello, Hey, what's up? You have a
dirty little secret?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
I do. It's actually more like I know someone else's
dirty little secret. Okay. So I brought home a friend
with me from college a few years ago, like back
to my parents' place, and I woke up in the
middle of night and I heard my friend like moaning

(01:29):
stop it. Yeah, And I was like, who did she
bring back to my place? Like how did she meet
somebody here already? And so I like sneak out of
my room and then I hear another voice, and I
realized the sounds are coming from my dad's room.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Stop it. Oh what?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yes? So I heard my friend my dad? EW what
I know? I know? And I was like, okay, this
is something I'm just never ever, ever, ever, ever gonna
mentioned either one of them.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
No kidding? Did you wait? So you never brought it up?
Like yo, were you my dad last night?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Nope? I never did. Maybe one day, if we're getting
a fight, I can be like, yeah, but you bowed
my dad. But like, now.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
You're still friends with this person?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Huh uh huh yep?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Interesting? Are you still friends with your dad?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I mean, I'm still daughter to my dad. I don't
believe in that whole like my dad my best friend.
Like that sounds like I was a bad dad.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yeah. Wow, that's interesting. I don't think I could still
be friends with somebody if they smashed my dad. Ew whoa.
So you never brought it into your friend.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
You know what?

Speaker 1 (02:35):
No? I mean, it's gross, But I'm also like, I'm
happy for anyone who finds love in this world, even briefly.
So I'm like trying to be like, my dad's a person.
It's fine.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Thank you for your dirty little secret.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Thank you have a good one Bye.

Speaker 2 (02:51):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
