Speaker 1 (00:00):
In this struggle, Rabbi.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
I think that any hope of a deal is farther
away than any day since October seventh. This week, as
we have Canada, France, and the United Kingdom telling Hamas
keep holding out, we have your back, as major countries
announce they plan to go to the UN You're regardless
of what's going on, irregardless of the fact that Hamas

(00:23):
is still holding fifty hostages, in regardless of the fact
that they still call for the murder of every Jew
in the world, and will reward you with the state
you want, a state that you've already assured the world
will be juden drying, will be free of Jews as
Hitler hope Europe would be, and a state that you've
promised will be a constant thrown in the side of
Israel as you try to create a juden orin state

(00:43):
from the river to the sea with the murder of
seven million Jews. So I think with those assurances from
Western countries, as Mark Carney and Keir Starmer and Manuel
mccron ally themselves with Hamas, that deal is farther away
than ever.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Wasn't there a video release Jewish hostages in horrific conditions.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
So the videos that were released are horrific. We don't
have video of the Holocaust going on. We have video
the survivors afterwards. But Hamas released a video this weekend
making a clearly starved man who has lost forty five
percent of his body's weight dig his own grades and

(01:29):
laugh at him. Again. The evil that they're bragging to
the world would not be conceivable if they didn't think
they had allies in the West who were standing with them.
We're willing to reward them for their terrorism. I hope
to God that separatists in Alberta who want to create
their own state or the ira or separatist here in
the United States don't see this example see Western nation

(01:51):
reward terrorism with support and think that is a way
to go forward. But you would not see the evil
of this videos, the torturing of hostages, the joy they
have and making the man take his own grave and
laugh at him if not for the backing they feel
they're receiving from pure Starmer and Mayol Macron and Mike Carney.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
And just in general, I mean the demonstrations we've seen
on college campuses during the last school year. Whatever that
does bolster confidence with one side, that's for sure. But
there are Israelis concerned for the hostages held by a
moss or about the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza we're talking about.
There's a lot of videos of starvation, starving children in Gaza.

(02:37):
That video came out that today a group of former
security chiefs, two former Army chiefs of staff, three former
heads of Israel's domestic intelligence agency. They all released a
video ending with the caption and the war.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
So I don't know. I don't know of anyone in
Israel or the broader world who doesn't want to end
this war. This has been a horrible, bloody war that
has harmed innocence in Israel, has harmed innocence that are
under the control of Hamas in Gaza. But there's only
one way this war can conceivably end. A nation has
a responsibility to safeguard the lives of their citizens. The

(03:16):
way this war ends is with the return of the
hostages and a disarmament of Hamas. Everyone who is starving
in Gaza today are victims of the war Hamas began,
and the war the Hamas is prosecuting today. Just this week,
Steve Whitcoff and Mike Huckabee are Ambassador visited the Gaza
Humanitarian Foundation, who just gave where their one hundredths million

(03:38):
meal in Gaza, working as hard as they can despite
extreme extreme opposition from the United Nations health organizations who
are upset about the fact they no longer have total
control over the money going in, and they still manage
to give out a tremendous a medical humanitarian relief without
that going to amasa's coffers to starve and charge absorbed

(03:59):
prices of their own. But again, the more pressure we
put on Hamas, the closer this can come to an end.
No one wants this war to end more than Israel,
more than the Prime minis from Tanyahu and those around him.
And while there will be, as we have here, former
generals on the left who will speak at against any
president in the right, and former generals on the right
who will speak at against any president in the left,

(04:21):
there is no one in Israel who doesn't want this
war to end. But this war cannot end while they're
still holding hostages and torturing them in the tunnels of Gaza.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Does net Nyaho still have the same power that he
had a few months ago, or is he losing or
people losing faith in him because this war languishes.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Certainly there's a great deal of pain in Israel as
this war linguishes. This is my far the longest war
that Israel's ever had. At the same time, running against
at Dan Yaho's like running against Thomas Jefferson. It's hard
to be another face to someone who is plays it
a prominent role in his early history. I don't know
that there is a front run against him. While there

(05:01):
is many in the country. The country's split like most
fifty to fifty. There's certainly a great deal of fatigue
over the war, but there is no one who doesn't
acknowledge that this war can only end with the return
of the hostages in the designment of amas, whether on
the right or the left.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
In Israel, it seems like we say that every time
we talk too as soon as they'll return the hostages,
this thing can come to an end. And there's very
little movement in that area.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
So I think the only way out of this is
for them to realize there is only one option, and
I think Trump's all are nothing speech if we back
it up with action is the only way to do that,
to let them know they can end this war where
they will be chased with great prejudice. Until now, Israel
has operated with their hands tied behind their back. For

(05:47):
months and months, the Biden administration demanded Israel not enter Rafa.
They said if Israel would to enter Rafae, hundreds of
thousands would die. Instead, Israel jured Rafa, They killed Sinewar
who planned October seventh, They rescued hostages, and this hundreds
of thousands of this simply didn't happen. So having a
president who recognizes the threat that Hamas is both to

(06:07):
Israel and to America, that their sponsors in Iran, who
from triumphantly took out, say that Israel is a small
Satan and America is a great Satan, and that Israel
is just an impediment in their way. It's an attack
on Western values, on a Western freedom. I think this
all or nothing plan is the only thing that takes
us closer to an actual deal in actual peace.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Indeed, all right, Rabbi leftin appreciate your thoughts as always,
Thanks so much, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
All right.
