just because I was watching his Twitterfeed and he appears to be flying
across America. He's on the groundright now, but flying over the mountains
in California earlier today. Read Jayden. You know him from WHAS eleven as

at Ohay Airport. The elevation's fifteenthirteen feet and the temperature is a cool
one hundred nine degrees. Oh mygoodness, you're in the heap bubble.
We are in the heat bubble hereand that'll continue across Texas. The plan
is to overnight at Odessa, Texas, estimating Odessa at about eight thirty tonight

local time, and that would benine thirty loyal time, well ahead of
daylight. With a brand new helicopter, you really don't like to fly in
the dark. And each fuel stoptakes a little longer because you want to
It's it's like a new car,you know, you want to check everything
out and make sure that nothing hasdeveloped since the last fuel stop. And

they leave the factory. I'm prettygood shape, really, but hey,
it's a beautiful trip coming across country. We leave. How many hours can
you get? I mean, Idon't know how much fuel a helicopter holds
those it can you fly for twohours? Or this this leg here which
was came over from Thermal, Californiato Buckeye, h it was about two

and half hours and that's about it. We've that's with a good healthy reserve
in there. And then do youdo you have a tailwind at all?
Then? Carrying a nice tailwind todayabout anywhere from five to eight knots or
so, and that you know itwere a little bit helps where they have
a tailwind than a hit wind.I saw the photo you posted a little

while ago passing Palm Springs snow upat eighty five hundred feet and you were
flying at fifty five hundred. Wewere at fifty five hundred. Now that's
above sea level, but sea levelthere is pretty well ground level. Yeah,
yeah, we were a fifty fivehundred and it was just beautiful to
look out the door, look outthe window. I feel like you can

touch that snow. It's up therewhere the where the where the tram,
the Palm Springs tram goes up fromthe mountains there, but there's still snow
up there. And we were sittingdown here at plus one hundred on the
ground. That's just amazing to me. Just the nature is just an amazing
thing. So please tell me youhave air conditioning on board? Yes,

yeah, it's it's rare an alicopter, but you know, yes, good
air conditioning working very well. Andwe're in the air now and uh,
just it's very comfortable in here,Okay, very very Did you just take
off and I didn't hear that,Yeah, didn't even couldn't even tell it.
Could you take off? Well,that's very nice. Well, I
don't want to hold you while you'reflying, that's okay, But can people

recipient is here in Louisville or inthis general area. That's just the way
that stuff goes. But ferrying isjust another nice job you get to do

when you have a pilot's license.Somebody goes, hey, can you fly
up blah blah blah. Sure can, and then you go there and then
if you get to fly a newplane back. But like he said,
you don't want to fly at nightbecause you want you want to check all
the everything that all the controls,everything's working smoothly and wonderfully and daylight is
everything when you're flying. Just obviouslyit's easier to figure out an alternate if
