Speaker 1 (00:20):
Oh yeah, I was.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Kim played this week. I think it was.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
That that counts. Yes, so it's a hit. What's it?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
We were supposed to have Jimmy Brown from Guitar and
for him on also uh Everybody band, but he's a
no show. I mean, man, I wonder if he celebrated
Keith Richards's birthday too.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Much Christmas so we didn't want to see. Well, we
talked about you having to go to uh Beaver's Elbow Kentucky.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Or Monkey's eyebrown eyebrown.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Tacky Town is another name for a Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
You don't go there anymore. They have like all of
the wallpaper is.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Just tacky and there is one booger booger? Yeah is
that from? Is that?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
How far is that from? Snottsville, Ohio?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Snottsville, West Virginia.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I just get that screwed up? Well, what about.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Pigeon roost isn't bad?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
The thing is some of the names Man's lick, Man's
lick Road. Who come up with that name?

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Hey, we've got a great road to cut through the south,
then all the way had, Well we should name it.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Jeez.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
I don't know how about man's licks.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
It's a last name of someone.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
You don't know that man's slick. It's not man's lick.
It's man's slick, like a man slick, not man's lick.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
That thank you. Your brain is the one that goes there. No,
it's not.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yeah, it is man's licks.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Up while you're behind all right.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
President Trump expected to sign executive order as soon as
today they would reclassify meriga juana to a Schedule three
from a Schedule one.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
He can't take the federal allway, right, but he can
mess with it.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
Executive order to reclassify it. So the federal law now
has marijuana in the same as heroin, LSD and all
these other hard drugs, and it has no business being there.
A lot of people in the House of Representatives opposed
the move, and they're arguing that there is enough science
to support and it could it could send the wrong

(02:40):
message about marijuana being safe. Unlike I don't know a
shot that now has a black box on it that
the pharmaceutical companies put out.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah, that's exactly why pharmaceutical companies pay pay these politicians,
and they're and they're going to keep it where it is.
That's why you have to use cash when you go
into these places.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I know a guy that uses marijuana, and I asked,
you know a guy I do? And I asked him,
I said, is this because I'm curious? So I caught
him up this last night and I said, look, man,
this marijuana that you use for sleep in your glaucoma,
would you classify that with heroin and LSD? And you

(03:18):
know what he said? He said, poppycock? Oh, so yeah,
what I did?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
I would, I might, I might.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
I looked up. So I looked up.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I'm kidding. It's a joke.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
I'm joking, dude, that's he that's PTSD for a.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
You know what that? Ye say right here? Abright? That
I good with poppy cock? I went, man, that's bad.
That's bad.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Uh, Louis is let's stay with healthcare here, Luigi mang. Yeah,
he's in his pre trial. He's been the Have you
seen the picture of the video of him in court. He,
of course, is that terrible person that shot a CEO
of all Care United Healthcare, Brian Thompson, UH CEO of

(04:05):
United Healthcare. Brian was you know he This guy was
a father of two, I think, and came from nothing
in Ohio, built his only way and and and sharked
his way up the ladder.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
And he was a great guy. From what I understand,
he was even working on improving. He was trying his
tribe as guy. Man, you can't turn that ship around.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
The Manhattan District Attorney's office signal that they would exclude
certain statements from Mangione made while in police custody.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Custody, here we go.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Listen, the system is set up on it's not for
the victim. Our court system, our justice system, is to
protect the offender at all costs, at all costs.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You know, I've said this before, but when you used
to say judges love criminals and hate the victims, they do.
I used to yell at you and just like, shut up, man,
it's just a talking point. I absolutely believe that you
cannot follow what's happening with judges and criminals and the
victims and not know that for some reason they have

(05:13):
a love affair with with the criminals, and and they
just don't care about the victims.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Oh, they have they have an for some reason, especially
it's Louisville judges nationwide too, they have a hatred for
the victim of some of the most heinous, horrendous crimes.
I just I can't comprehend it. I want someone to
help this make sense to me.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Right well, this one is going to be one of
those trials because if they allow cameras in the courtroom,
or even if they don't, we got plenty out of
the Diddy trial. Brown's here, Okay, so you know he's
he's going to have an all star group of lawyers
because he comes from a very rich family, and they're

(05:58):
going to I talked to Joe Ellie a little bit
earlier when I was on his show and we talked
about it. He was like, I bet you they put
healthcare on the trial, which would be smart. He'd be smart.
If you're a defense lawyer. Also, you're probably gonna go
after I mean, Luigi, this guy was caught in McDonald's

(06:18):
and had everything on him, his notes, plans, all of
it on him in his backpack. And it's just like
I guarantee. They argue the fact that who would have
that he's a smart kid, he wouldn't even have this.
This was planted. We're just going to see as this
court unfolds. But understand, the Luigi man Johan trial will

(06:43):
be what we'll talk about here in the next couple
of months. It's going to be crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Hey, hey, here we go. Man, we promised you earlier.
But both of them here, Ray Rizzo.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
It must be Christmas because we have Bernie Lovers and
these guys in just one time of year.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I usually say, Ray, how you doing. Man's still Brooklyn?
Is that right?

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Brooklyn.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
But you're in uh And Jimmy, we're gonna talk to
you in a second too, because it's Keith Richards's birthday
and he has purchased some guitars from you as well.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Hang on one second, Hang on one second. So do
you watch the news in New York? What's the what's the.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Why would you white watch the news?

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I was asking, what's what what we don't what we
cover and what's what's what we talked about Louiver Kentucky
or what's this? What's the top thing in New York? Right?

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Now top thing in New York is, uh, how much
space you have to give the roaches.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
The first though, the bottom they have rights. Listen, man,
they were there first though. This is an exciting thing
we're getting ready to talk about. And here's the thing is,
there's so many great musicians that came out of Little Kentucky.
And if you're from a hometown, you like to come
back home and see others that you came up with, right,

(08:02):
Jimmy totally yeah. And so you put together this thing
and it's called is it the Everybody Band? It is
nowadays it's and it really is. And you never know
who's going to participate because there's so many great Greg
Martin from the all.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
These all these people are invited.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
Are you invited, Well, you're always invited.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
They just won't let me on the stage. You're invited
on stage. Any careful, big, be careful, very army.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
You can don't do it, you can you can bring it.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Ah, yeah, okay, Jenny Moon stays is easy.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Getting them all get off another story.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
We know how to do that.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Tequila at the ball.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Talk about the Everybody Band because it really is, Uh,
it could be the best of the best. And you
never know who's going to be there. Maybe you do,
so we don't know.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
We never know who's gonna Even after we know who's
going to be there, we don't know who's going to
be there.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
But no, but no kidding. These are I mean national
musicians show up and there's a lot of people that
had a lot of commercial success.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Who do you morning Jacket?

Speaker 2 (09:09):
They came out and they're huge, out of out of Louisville, uh,
just out of Kentucky in general. And this is a
Kentucky thing. It's not just a Louisville thing, right, I
mean Midnight Star out of eastern e k U. And
they excel exce. Watch give me just what more chance?
Maybe you can make a little romance. You no reason
why you and me can't get it back to we

(09:31):
used to be.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
All right, you're in the band.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
That's excellent, thank you.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
When is this? This is Sunday Night?

Speaker 1 (09:44):
Sunday Nights show headliners at Whirling Tiger.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
I've heard a lot about Whirling Tiger.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
The Butchertown Pub. Yes, of course, all right.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
If you walked into the Butchertown Pub and then you
went to the back back yeah patio.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Yeah, yeah, I had a bunch of plants and stuff
there in the old days. Yeah, it was a thousand degrees.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Yeah it's been over the years. It's been transformed into
an inside indoor space and it's yeah, a really wonderful
sounding room.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Going back to bands that had great commercial success. A
band that I loved and I look forward to every
time they played at Phoenixville Tavern just as much as
I would a Stones or spring Seat. I'm not kidding on.
This was a band called Eden Street. Oh no doubt,
I don't tell you. I looked forward to these Eden

(10:35):
Street shows like I would any tour And if you
ask me, boy did they get shafted. And worse than
them getting shafted, the music industry got shafted because their
music was wasn't is because I still listened to it. Yeah,
just amazing.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Their first gig get Tuligan. But my point, yes, I
was there with Jimmy V. But we went to go
check out these do guys that say they have a
deal right exactly?

Speaker 4 (11:01):
Why we about it? Let's see, we're gonna talk nice
about him. We're talking about.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
That was the catchphrase once upon a time, Who's got
the deal?

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Got the deal?

Speaker 6 (11:12):
Has he got the deal or as a friend of
mine said recently, hey man, we ain't looking to get
signed anymore.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
But then you got a band like Breckenridge and we
still got get him on. To tell the story, they
irving A's Off signs them and then says, look, here's
what we want to do. Though we want to put
all your music. It's not gonna go on CD. You're
gonna go straight to something called iTunes. And they said,
we don't think so when they walk away from irving
as Off.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
But at the time, wow, you know it's on the
list of dumbest things every They're like, yeah, we are.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
We gonna have that conversation.

Speaker 4 (11:49):
Conversations, we can do that.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
We got a lot on that list.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
What can we say about the everybody band, this Sunday
Whirling Tiger, What do we know? How much? And by
the way, who benefits from this?

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (12:02):
Yeah, Well we're gonna every time we do one of
these shows, uh we have we have someone from the
band suggests to us or different people suggest organizations, uh
locally that we can give the proceeds to. So this
show that we're gonna do is going to go to
the Americana Community Center.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Okay, yeah, yeah, it's on Taylor Boulevard, right right. Yeah,
it's immigration uh yeah, actually I've been there many times
support the refugee.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
These are the folks that really have nothing. Uh and
some of the kids don't have anybody, So it's a
it's a great place, actually, it really is.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
We're really honored to to, you know, share the good
will of the night with them.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Yep, yep, yep, yep. But mostly it's fun.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
It's a blast.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
Yeah, and it's not you know, we we we always
endeavor to have one rehearsals.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
That was my next question. That's my next question. You
don't know who's going to show. And by the way,
some people show up while the scenes going on.

Speaker 6 (13:00):
Man, right, Yeah, it can happen, yes, yeah, one quick example,
We're gonna do and Aretha Franklin song one year the
singer gets sick at the last minute, and that's gonna
happen when you've got more than thirty people, and of
course somebody from the audience jumps up, I can sing
that song?

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Are you serious?

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:17):
So Dwight take that in mind. Yeah, how about that.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
You used to wait as much as she did?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Did do you hear what Jimmy Brown just said it.
He said, I'm a better singer than.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
A SAT's what you heard.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
That's what he said, man, And he would Jimmy Brown
would know, man.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Whose original idea was this? Who's who's uh? Who's uh?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Started?

Speaker 5 (13:35):
Yeah, they start a fight. The getting together and having
a huge band is probably my idea, which we've done
over the years. And as Jimmy said, it's we're now
called Everybody Band, and it's because it's a it's a
it's a theme that sticks. You know, everyone's got a
band from Louislle that they love, like Eden Street or
you know some song that they had in their ears
growing up that made them, you know, be a musician

(13:58):
or just doing what they're doing. So so we've got
endless We've realized we have endless opportunities to to cover
great music by being Everybody Band, and it be something
that like we've got musicians who find out we're covering
their songs and they're like, I'm gonna poppy, I want
to hear how we're going to cover it.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (14:18):
It's like it's been a beautiful thing just for something
that was always intended to be about community. Uh, this
has been really special and this year especially, we're doing
uh some beautiful tributes.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Do you remember Gary Burbank, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Of course, yeah, right, big influence on radio.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
Yeah. Gary's niece, Shelley has has is bringing in a
song of Gary's Wow that we're going to play. I
don't know how many songs Gary had, but this one's
about j R.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
But actually got spins in the seventies eighty yeah or
eighty yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah, yeah yeah. We had Mark Maxwell on a couple
of weeks ago, and he looked panicked because he was
He said he had a stark number. He said, the
average age of people in bands is fifty eight.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Yeah, oh yeah, I think that's true.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Yes, what he said, what he looked. I've known him
for forty years or whatever. Like he had like a
deer in the headlight. Looked like we gotta get younger
kids involved. But in reality, this night we'll probably have
the musicians will probably be around forty fifty.

Speaker 5 (15:31):
It's a beautiful thing. We have at least five generations. Yeah,
every time we play, so the you know, the opportunity
for everyone to get in a room and just hear
the music, you know, and play together.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Is special.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
Let's say that there's musicians out there listening and they said,
you know, I want to be part of this, but
we're in a cover band or whoever might be. How
do they reach out to you.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
That's a great question because we have a Facebook page,
but I'm locked out of it at the moment, locked
out of that.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Jimmy and I Jimmy, Jimmy and I had Jimmy from
the page. We've been mean to tell you about that.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
But yeah, it is an open door, so because we
would want to hear from it.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
And the reason I say that Ray is because there's
this is so inspiring. There's two younger bands, I mean youngers,
I mean teens. One of them uh is Rocking Cowboys.
It's a duo and they're both young men like I
don't know, like ten or twelve. And then you got Lampus.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
But expectations is you don't get on because I can
see a million people showing up and you can't get rotations.
So if that, if you are a band member, expectations
are getting up there, you got to be lucky.

Speaker 6 (16:42):
Right right, all right, But it varies in you know,
you want you want to we want to do a
really great job, really, and you do a great job
on the tunes, but at some point the bar has
to be set somewhat low. At the same time it's
you're trying to make it's exciting no matter what, no kidding.

(17:02):
And one of my goals is to have one of
my granddaughters come and play piano on these times. Yeah,
because one of them. If she played guitar, she'd be
a shredder. She's like, good, yeah, but she's still too shot.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Uh have you ever had this play? I don't think
people realize whether they're like, you know what, I'm going
to take up guitar, and they don't realize how hard
it is. It is is hard, but go ahead.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
I learned though, because it's intimidating for people.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
Know.

Speaker 6 (17:30):
It was in the music store business. I know a
lot about guitars. And one of the things I would
say to people who were intimidated it would be, have
you heard of Hank Williams. Most people have heard of
Hank Chuck Berry, you know. Now little kids may not,
but you know, or let's say Muddy Waters. These are
three people who are indelible icons who prove to the

(17:52):
world you don't have to learn three guitar chords and
you are off and running.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Yeah, but those Chuck Berry licks inspired the story. They
inspired everybody that could be inspired by music. Rock and
roll was built on Chuck Berry's back, if you ask.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
And so you can keep it simple and the world
is still your oyster.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Have you ever have you ever had somebody coming to
the store that picked up the guitar and you could
automatically like already, see, oh wait, there's something here.

Speaker 6 (18:18):
Oh how many times?

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Yeah? Remember when I showed up a guitar and for
him and you said, none of these will work for you,
mister Whitten. And then so I bought the bought the
books expensu one. I brought it back a day later.
This thing's broken. It doesn't play right. It doesn't play right.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
Uh, it is tough.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
It looks you and radio land right now. Just please understand.
Do you not believe everything you hear?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Trust me?

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Nobody disclaimer At the beginning of every.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Show, Jemmie Brown, Ray Rizzo, we're talking to this Sunday
Whirling Tiger, and this is a you don't want to
miss this show. It's the Everybody band. Yeah, and go
ahead and hit the charity again.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
Yeah, at the Americana Community Center.

Speaker 6 (18:57):
Yep, let me say. I love to put it like this.
This is truly you know, if you come out, you're
going to support a really needy, great cause. You're going
to feel good about yourself, sure about doing something good
for the community. Also, you're going to get to experience
when it's truly a musical high wire.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Act, rights, no net and some of the best of
the best.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Well, I think that's more fun too, when everybody's talking
and going, Okay, it's what is it? It's D, it's
in D and then you're just working it out as
they're going. It's more fun to watch that kind of
stuff from our seat.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Plus, really, what's pulling me to go to this event
is that's a former uh Butcher pub. It was a
t it was like a TV and a recording studio
for a while. Jim Goodwin old Butcher Town plub and
his son took over for it and they had like
a video editing and audio place. Uh So it is
this place now where you're going to be. I just

(19:50):
want to come just to hang out and again we'll.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
We'll be we'll be covering an RBQ Patty Loveless Parliament,
funk of Dela. Yes, I mean you're gonna you're gonna hear.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Well, I gotta ask you at seven o'clock, seven o'clock,
seven o'clock on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Man, I'm excited. I'm excited. Jimmy Brown, Ray Rizzo, everybody
band this Sunday Whirling Tiger, seven o'clock. Don't miss it.
It's gonna be a fun time. Great to see you
guys again. By the way, Hey, let me tell you
about Pelo Windows and Doors. Baby, how is those energy
bills super high in the summer, super high in the winter.

(20:27):
It could be, It probably is. Your windows and doors
doesn't have to be that way. You could have the best,
and I mean the best, because well the rated number one,
and the highest quality number one, and highest craftsmanship number one,
highest value when it comes to windows and doors, and
it gets better not just made in the USA, but
mate right here at Kentucky, by our friends, our family members,
our neighbors. Why not go with the best. And I

(20:50):
tell you that you could pell now and you can
pay later. Go to Pello. Listen so close to Christmas,
shriek that work down and go to Pello. Louisville, Dot
com I'm gonna start shopping and you get Pella now
and pay later back.

Speaker 1 (21:02):
After this on news radio eight forty w h as.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
You know, we sorry I jumped the gun.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Keith Richards is eighty we today take away.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
So obviously we're playing some of his songs today. That
obviously an icon of music, not just rock music. Rolling Stones.
Probably it's still in two thousand stop for the love
of peace.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Hey, you know what I said waiting not occur.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
When Marty gets on. Please tell us I had said
I wasn't gonna do this story, but since you're here,
might as well. I'm trying to Scientists say smelling your
own stinkies reduces the risk of Alzheimer's.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
I'll take Alzheimer's over smelling moone who does this? And
by the way, please please please tell me this. This
study was funded by taxpayer dollars. John Hopkins Medicine. Yeah
so probably.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
Research now suggests that hydrogen sulfide, the smelly gas found
in flatulence, may help protect your brain from Alzheimer's disease.
So they want you to sit in your own musk.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Musk is a nasty word. It sounds like it would
be any it's.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Better than what I'm trying to get in my head
and try to translate here. Twenty twenty one study that
John Hopkins Medicine found that in mice, the gas helped
prevent the buildup of tangled proteins that block communication between
brain cells and cause them to die. Stop it.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
So, I guess if who wasn't a research and development
came up with this idea, so you know what might
stop Alzheimer.

Speaker 1 (22:59):
The researchers gave the mice a compound that slowly released
hydrogen sulfide, and the animals showed a fifty percent improvement
in memory and motor function.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Stop it, don't care. Don't care.

Speaker 4 (23:14):
So the secret to curing cancer had to do with flatulence?

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Well, I mean, this is Alzheimer's BROI drop. So the
body was created and then you're you're thinking part of
the system is well, they're gonna sit in their own stinkies.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Yeah, and so you're gonna do that once you write,
Oh man.

Speaker 1 (23:42):
You gotta admit sometimes you just like can't even take
your own You roll down the car window.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Well I just I just I glisten.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
I don't do that. I know you don't glisten yeah,
I do so hydrogen sulfide. So if you work in
a hydrogen sulfide plant, you are not getting Alzheimer's. And
I guess that's is that the same thing as the
egg sound or the eggs smell? No, that's sulfur right, yes,
oh suid? Is that sulfur sulfide?

Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (24:08):
I think so.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Okay, It's been a long time since I got my
chemistry degree. But I'm trying to.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Recall a lot of people take topics we have and
then around the dinner table they bring them back so
they say, hey, this is what I heard on the
Tony and Dwight Show today because we are informative. Hey,
Pepa educational.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Sit right in your chair. I'm going to deliver something
to you because I don't want you to get Alzheimer's.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
People, but I don't.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Trust me on this quick. Why are you resisting? P Paul?

Speaker 1 (24:34):
But I don't recomm I don't recommend you doing this
story around the dinner table.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Why not? It could be informative?

Speaker 7 (24:42):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (24:42):
Do you want somebody to get Alzheimer's just because they're.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
I have I have more than one, buddy.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
But t get it. But that is thank you, Rodney from.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
That is you would designate as the stinky friends. I
have two friends and I won't aim them on the air.
Are you looking at me that are stinky? Why are
you doing the head motion to John over Man, They're
not going to get Alzheimer's because they love their own smell.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
Don't you gotta think? I want to always ask these people,
can you not smell you? You know, I'm serious. I guess
they can't because like some about what buy me? I
want chase and nu, dude, can you not smell you?

Speaker 1 (25:27):
I had a I had a boss that after meetings
he told people, he goes, I would walk down the
hallway and crop dusty. Do you know what? Why does
everyone know what that means? Like people know what that means.
They're like, I guess it is, and I go, well,

(25:47):
thank you, Kevin, appreciate that information. Now I'm in means
uh And now I think, uh when I think of him,
I think of crop dust, which is not a good thing.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
No.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Uh, So scientisticate again, say, is smell your own farts
reduce the risk of Alzheimer's. That's the story, that's the head.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Why did people used to call Alzheimer's Alzheimer's.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Because it because you were older when you get it
that people were.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
Just too dumb to know how to say Alzheimer's, or
they just called it alzheimer's.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
People got to be dumb because they do.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Why you gotta throw judgment. This is a this is
a non judgment.

Speaker 1 (26:27):
I love. I love the transformation of John Alden.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I called it to Anheuser's because I would drink too much.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
I would drink cannot remember anything, and.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
I would forget that. I would forget everything. I would
forget to go to work. I got a bad case
of Anheuser's.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
All right, how many of these are we gonna do?
Ways to avoid holiday weight game?

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Oh that's easy. Don't eat the crap.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Number one, make your workout routine easier.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
What are you talking about, Well, I will say people
are starting to hear with this new year, new meat crap.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
And two weeks away, oh yeah, we get the newbies
at the gym for six weeks.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
I will tell you this, Remember the fifty percent method.
Working out at fifty percent it's better than working out
at nothing. Meaning if you feel horrible, you don't want
to fill out, go ahead and get it. Get in
there and get fifty percent off. Fifty percent in is
still better than getting nothing in, right, agreed, Greace, feel
so much better even I'm a hungover whatever it might be.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
So hit the dinghy. I can do that make the
workout routine a little easier. Oh, here we go, all right,
we'll have a little bit less time with Marty.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Here.

Speaker 7 (27:33):
Now we can finally play the game.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
Where I thought I played football.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yes we are, and he doesn't have Alzheimer's, but he
forgot to call in on time. His is Marty Book
from Earl Books, Carriage Forward.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Hello, Marty, I've had a customer. Is a good excuse.
We do these things to get customers.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Oh, yes's right.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
And in the ensuing aftermath of the customer, I was
setting in jaw jacking because I did forget about this.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
I'm glad I'm a high priority on your day's list,
but I'm glad that somebody was buying a car or
a truck from you or a Bronco. All right, man.
Last year, I for years I haven't watched I've watched
zero Bowl games, just not interested them. And then the
playoffs came last year, and I watched every single playoff

(28:41):
game from the start to the end, and this weekend
we got him coming back.

Speaker 4 (28:46):
Now Indiana is not playing, yes we can.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
Well, we got some good stuff this weekend. And here's
the thing with the other Bowl games. I can tell
you who's watching those other Bowl games? Something you'd like
to me every once in a while, degenerate gamblers, that
is the only people that's watching those other boat days.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
No, that's true. No, it's true. Who's watching these games.
It's half they're going with half their rosters. No, you know,
none of the really good starters are gonna play because
they're gonna get ready for the NFL or they're ready
to transfer, so they're just there. It isn't you know,
these teams with the name on the front of the jersey,
it's half their team. It's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
It didn't used to be that way, this trend of
not playing. It's really tony only been about the last
five or six years that, unless I'm wrong, it seems
like it's relatively I guess it's it's more of a
it's it's it's okay now, whereas before everybody complained about it.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
No, the first one was the hang on. The first
one was the LSU running back what was his name? Yep,
And that was fifteen years ago or so, and we
all lost our minds on sports radio of how could
he not play in the bowl game? Heard Fournette, Yeah, Fournette.
Fournette was the first big name person to say I'm
not playing in a bowl game. I've got a I'm

(30:06):
going to be a first round draft pick and I'm
not risking it. And he got vilified or he got celebrated,
but he was the first one. And it's been floodgates
ever since.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
It was everybody lost their noodle over. I remember, and
it is longer ago than when I thought it, but
it has been open ever since since. So yeah, who
cares about those? But what took to your point? With
this weekend? Man, that's gonna be fun. I mean you
start at noon on Saturday. Yeah, Now, look, the last
game is James Madison getting a boatload of points at Oregon.

(30:39):
Of all of the plays on Saturday, I like James Madison,
and I don't have it to cover, not the way
it to cover. I want to say it's twenty four
and a half, but I don't have it with me
right now. But I remember it was a pretty good size.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Number well, I will say that defensive line for James
Madison was in the backfield against U of L every
damn play when.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
They played, and that that was a I think that
was a little uf L win. But the James Madison cover,
if I remember correctly, right, I feel like.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
Oh no, there's no doubt about it. I thought it
was a couple of touchdowns and they and Louisville barely
won that game. But Friday night under Friday night games too,
there's a Friday Night and Saturday, right, correct, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Friday night. Friday Night is Miami and Texas a the
am uh Alabama?

Speaker 1 (31:33):
It's Oklahoma Alabama on Friday too, right.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
No, there's Saturday.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
Oh that's Friday Friday. Bro the Friday night either way.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
I thought. I thought the Friday Night was Miami. And Uh.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
What I like about Harty book is that he puts
so much into his job.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Uh. Road, I've driving down the road. I switched demos
and so I don't I don't have my phone thing
set up. So I'm holding this thing in the air,
driving in forty five million our wind, and I really
don't even know where the wipers are on this thing.
I haven't driven this before. So anyway, Hell, I don't

(32:13):
know when the games are, but I'll say this. I
like A and M. I like Jmu, I like give
me another one.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
H Tolan and ol Miss.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
I go ol Miss. And I love Oklahoma against Alabama.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
I do too. I think Alabama's on the have been
going down the last month to month or so, and
they're going to continue to do that. In Oklahoma just
has been getting better. I like that too. So let's
concentrate only A got a couple of minutes late because
somebody was late. Let's go with Indiana. I know we're
going to cover this next week. But did they get
some bad news? Do they have a defensive line player

(32:55):
that got hurt?

Speaker 3 (32:57):
Our our best outside rush, our best best threat are
uh number one player on the team on defense, our
edge rusher, our edge pass getter, Tour and ac L
during the celebration.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
Oh no, yep, Tour is ACL not even like a tweak?
He tore it?

Speaker 3 (33:19):
No, yes, celebrating, celebrating, celebrating.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
He probably had a couple of sacks again against Ohio State.
It was like Danielle had like six sacks against Ohio State.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
I watched the fourth quarter again last night, because I
do when I get bored. He got in the backfield
one he got in the backfield so fast one time,
and it just it just made me sad. I feel
sorry for the kid. I mean, you know, you think
of all the work that you put in to get
to this point, and all you're doing is being a
college kid. And you know he was jumping up towards
people in the stands and somehow he got hurt there.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Well, here's here's the kickback here. It will hurt you.
It will hurt you. I mean, it affects the entire
defensive line. But because if they have to double him,
they leave somebody else up open free to go, or
a free for a linebacker to go through the a gap.
It doesn't matter. It will affect you, it will, it will.
It will lessen that defense. We got a minute and

(34:16):
a half here, right, let's talk about trucks. We'll talk
about IU next week, but let's let's talk trucks. F
one fifties. Tell me the deal.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
The f one fifty right now is parcel of the deal.
It's got to zero for sixty and things like that. Tony,
there's nine as million of them left. But let me
run this by you real quick. And this just happened
last Thursday. I bought twenty program cars at the auction.
These are Fords certified never been owned by an individual vehicles.
They are titled to four that you know there. We

(34:46):
know the history of them. I studied the history report.
Twenty of them. Ever flavor from eskates to F one fifties.
We've got a Trimmer f one fifties. There's awesome. There's
some Explorers mixed in there, a platinum Explorer, few MOCKI
that I think are already sold. Uh, it's a good
batch of stuff. It's all about Carriageforard dot com right now. Uh,
we got the holiday seasons. I don't know. I'm sure

(35:08):
we'll get together probably Tuesday or Wednesday next week, Yeah, hopefully. Uh,
and we'll talk about Indiana. But but you know, it's
a merry Christmas from Carriage four to all of you guys.
Happy holidays, and we look forward talking to you next week.
And you know, Carriagefoward dot com. Just always remember Carriageforward
dot com.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
All right, have fun this weekend watching all the football.
We love you, Marty book, talk to you later, Love
your brother. Sorry, no, it's okay, all right, we're out
of here. Man for Dwight Whitton and John William Alden
the Third.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
I am Tony Venetti. Have a fantastic day.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
It's gonna be a little Wendy on News Radio eight
forty w h A S.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
I Love you mommy

Speaker 4 (35:45):
