Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning,
I laughed heartily. I help, it's respectful to say I
love you.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
Starting the show, John, howy you doing, buddy, I'm feeling
pretty good, man, feeling excited for the weekend.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Come on, brother, that's Friday.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
I'm out of here too, weekend. I'm flying to see
my little sister this weekend too.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
What time they fly out?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
My flight?

Speaker 6 (00:25):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Two thirty?

Speaker 4 (00:27):
I got a flight tonight too, dude, dude, which you
already knew because I've said to you yours is a
red eye, though, so I feel.

Speaker 5 (00:34):
Like just the idea that was flying like dude, because
then for a second I was like, should we be
twinsies at the airport?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
And then I realized you were taking a red eye.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah, I'm not getting there that early for you.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Yeah, but flying back to Connecticut to work and cleaning
out my mom's house and stuff.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Very cool. Jill, how you doing okay? You weather okay? Yeah,
if you're sick, why are.

Speaker 7 (00:54):
You here because it's just a little cold.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Well, I don't want a little cold.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
I don't want a little cold.

Speaker 7 (01:04):
To mask in between when we're you know, not on
the air.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I have no more questions for you.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Okay, how are you?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I'm fine? Friday, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Thank you very much. It is Friday. We're excited about that.
Fridays always feel good, don't they. Oh my gosh, it's
so good. I am getting a slight twitch in my eye.
You know, when the eye twitches a little bit?

Speaker 7 (01:27):
Are you blaming me for that?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
For weeks?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I know what it is. I almost feel bad. I
think it's more prevalent when I'm tired too.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
But like when I'm looking at somebody, my left eye
just keeps twitching.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
It's mine too.

Speaker 7 (01:39):
It comes from exhaustion, it can come from stress.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Well that checks out. Yeah, feel better.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
I've not noticed your eye twitch.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
I don't think people really notice the eye twitch. It's
just you, you know what I mean. It's such a
small spasm.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
You feel so big in yourself, you know, mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Yeah, all right, Well keep an eye on that. Hey,
Hopefully it's nothing major to be concerned about. If I
do pass away on the air today you're the show,
I might have to go home now, I might have
to head straight to the airport.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
I have to get out of here. Sorry about that all.
It's Valentine the Morning.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
Have you seen or heard or read what Jeremy Renner.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Scene or heard or read or felled or smelled or
our news these days?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
That's very true.

Speaker 7 (02:28):
But Jeremy Renner was talking about the couple of minutes
that he actually died after his snowplow accident, and honestly,
hearing him talk about it made me feel slightly better
about dying, Like I have a weird, irrational fear of dying.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Everybody wants to go to heaven. Nobody wants to go now.

Speaker 7 (02:53):
Yes, but I want to read to you some quotes
that he said, and he died for a few minutes,
and he says, it is the most exhilarating peace you
could ever feel. You don't see anything but what's in
your mind's eye. You're the atoms of who you are,
the DNA, your spirit. It's the highest adrenaline rush. Then

(03:14):
he said the amount of peace that comes with it
is magnificent. Said it's magical, and he didn't even want
to come back. He remembers being brought back and being
angry at them for reviving him because it was so
peaceful and just this magical feeling, and it's completely changed.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
How he looks at life.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
He's like, it's not about crypto, it's not about stocks
or whatever. It's about your relationship. It's about love and
life trend. Hearing him talk about it like, I'm like, okay,
Like I felt a little bit better.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Nobody says under deathbed God, I wish I took that
extra shift at work, You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Those are the regrets that you don't worry about. You
were about time with your family and friends and your
loved ones. Of course, heaven's an interesting thing, after licensing thing.
I am a person of faith, so I believe in it.
But you know, would I have that same faith if
I grew up in a Muslim family somewhere else, or
if I grew up in a Jewish family. Whatever. Your
faith is often dependent on geographically where you are and
who you grow up with in your parents and things.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
And then sometimes throughout your adult life you might find
your way into a different faith. You might find your
way to believing, not believing. Whatever it is, I do
believe in heaven, I do believe in Jesus.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
That's just me.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
Science does make very compelling arguments for what people feel
when they cross over when they believe they're going towards
a light, and how our brain works, and the neurons
in our brain is eighty six billion neurons inside your brain,
and it's all electricity. So as a computer shuts down,
so to speak, as that all fades away, the way

(04:45):
our mind works and what we tell ourselves in that
survivability mode right there could account for a lot of things,
according to science, that people feel when they're quote unuote
passing over. My argument against that, it's not a great
one space in faith, which lot of our you know,
thoughts are when you're thinking of something like the greater note,
But there has to be something more when our brain

(05:11):
alone has eighty six billion neurons that are firing off,
and it's even so much more than that when it
comes to electricity going back and forth there, When you
look into the brain and how it works, it's just
so mystical and magical. It is looking into the cosmos.
You were looking into outer space inside that brain. So

(05:32):
I cannot fathom how there cannot be something greater than
what we are that made this and allowed this to happen.

Speaker 7 (05:38):
A little boonie just came through.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
It is not my little boonie. Yeah, what's a little
bit became a massive booner right there? What are you
talking about? What are you talking about? Magical? Which is
always conversation, mystical magical? You hear that and you're sitting
there waiting to comment on anything else after that?

Speaker 4 (06:04):
God, Oh, I give up.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
I literally just give up. It's Valentine in morning. Hi Mara, Hi, Hey,
what's killing on with you?

Speaker 8 (06:18):
Oh?

Speaker 9 (06:18):
I'm the very fortunate person. I wanted to do a
shout out.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
A very fortunate person. Let's hear the fortunate aista moment.

Speaker 9 (06:26):
Well, I'm very fortunate. I have a great husband, Joey,
and then I have my boys. I'm an extremely fortunate mom.
I have a sixteen year old, twenty three year old,
twenty five and twenty six year old. Uh huh, So
to say the least, I'm extremely fortunate.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yeah, I agree, But usually I have to be a
little bit bold here. When a woman calls up and
says this, or a man calls up and says this,
is a catalyst for this conversation.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Should we all say it in a daily basis?

Speaker 4 (06:54):
I'm fortunate to be married to a wonderful, beautiful woman
and have a wonderful, beautiful great seventeen are you what
are you doing?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Listening to some music?

Speaker 5 (07:03):
A text from my listener that said, John, open this
Instagram thing.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I panicked.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
I didn't know what it was, and I opened it
and it was this big, old video with a bunch
of songs.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
You thought this would be the right time to open
it during Myra's call.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Well, it was hard to focus because it sounded important.
I'm sorry, Mara.

Speaker 9 (07:19):
Well, hey, that might be important, but it's definitely not
important as my kids and my husband.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
I was gonna ask you what the catalyst for the
call was, but you know.

Speaker 9 (07:27):
What now I even need to know, right right. I
just want them to know they're hearing me, and I
always want them to know they are my purpose. I
do everything I do for them, and I'm very blessed
to have them.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Family is so important, isn't it It is?

Speaker 9 (07:41):
That's the motivation every day when we get up.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Amen, girl, you and I are cut from the sand cloth.

Speaker 9 (07:46):
You know what we are. That's why I listened to you,
Jill John everyone. I've listened to you guys for years.
You're my favorite station, You're my number one pre sit
on my radio.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Where to go thoughts John.

Speaker 9 (07:58):
Oh, crickets.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Wow, these young kids nowadays, no respect, No respect. Myra,
have a great day. Thanks for calling in you as well.

Speaker 9 (08:15):
Thank you guys for what you do. I appreciate you
guys every single day.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Thank you, love you, take care bybye.

Speaker 8 (08:19):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (08:20):

slash promo in the future on the show. What do
you like about our show? What's been fun about the show?

(08:41):
Maybe a moment from the past, anything like that. Just
shout out tell us have some energy when you do it.
Just click that talkback feature on the iHeart Radio app

(09:02):
the biz, John thoughts.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Holl at your boy, Oh there got it back?

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Coming up today on the show after eight o'clock. Has
anybody ever kissed your baby without getting permission from you?
All right, I'm gonna tell you why this somebody kissed
your baby.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
That wasn't me, but this lady.

Speaker 10 (09:20):
Texted to our text line three one O four three.
She said she's a new mom, has a four month
old baby girl, and a lady at Vaughan's was just
kind of like telling her how cute her baby wasn't
She lean in and just gave it a little and
she was like, is that should I expect more of that?

Speaker 4 (09:34):
And people shouldn't kissing you baby without permission. People just
shouldn't even ask permission to kiss your baby?

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Is weird? Will squeeze my daughter's cheeks? She's got great cheeks, she.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Does, Yeah, that's weird to see your daughter's great cheeks too.
I think that the kissing of the baby should be
done a lot like how we interact properly with somebody's animal,
like the Supermarke. You see somebody who a dog or
something like that, go, oh, do you mind if I
pick your dog? And you ask and then you kneel
down and place your hand in front of the dog

(10:08):
for them to slowly sniff and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
So do you mind if I kiss your baby? They
say no, go right ahead.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
You get low and place your lips in front of
the baby for the baby to sniff your lips, examine
your face and decide if they want to kiss you.
And if the baby doesn't want to kiss you, you don't
press it. If the dog doesn't want to lick you,
you don't press it. You know you're offering yourself to
the child or the dog.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
I believe that's fine.

Speaker 7 (10:28):
I don't want some stranger coming up to kiss me.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
I don't want them.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Kissing my baby. You're kissing you? Oh no, you want
you to Why is it okay for a baby? Because
babies are very kissable.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
It doesn't matter. You're still putting your slips.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
On a human baby not kissable. No, I think she's
a little jealous if people aren't asking me to kiss her. No,
I don't want anybody to kiss me.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Well, it came across that way. A lot of us
are commenting on the text line already. Why is Jill
so obsessed with somebody kissing her? Wow, this one just
came in from Irvine. I would line up to kiss Jill,
but it seems like she doesn't want it. What's going
on because you're very fast in that text line?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
So all right?

Speaker 4 (11:00):
So is it okay for somebody to randomly kiss your
baby after eight o'clock?

Speaker 2 (11:04):
After seven?

Speaker 4 (11:04):
Of course, we have happiness and anything great in your
life that you want to share is three one oh
four to three. And then coming up a little bit
later on this hour, we've got first Sip at six
twenty five or so, and then John's New Music Friday
right after that. There you go, people, here's your menu
of love, your menu day Valentine in the morning. And

(11:25):
if you also have anything else to say? Else going on?

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Not right now, let's feast, let's feast. Let's feast on
your menu. Oh man, this guy script this show up. Honestly,
the vibes, this guy's given off. Man, right, he's got
killer He's got killer vibes. Oh he really does. No thoughts,
all vibes. I'm gonna take.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
That one A four three, my fam, it is Valentine
in the morning. Are you struggling? Are you having a
tougher Friday? Are you struggling in life. Do you feel
the weight of the world upon you. We're gonna just
son called first Sip coming up, and First Sip is
all about having a moment where we come together as
a community, a very communal group, and we kind of
celebrate the weekend in front of us, We celebrate the

(12:06):
day in front of us, and we have a cup
of coffee at the same time. Now you can be
doing you know, tea, water, if you're coming out of
the gym, your protein shake, whatever it is. We kind
of salute the day, have this little sip at the
same time. And when we have that sip together, we
know that me, John, Jill, Laura, Brian, you, somebody in Irvine,

(12:26):
somebody Rancha Cucamonga, people up in Santa Creta, somebody in
Fresno listening in the iHeartRadio app. We know that we're
all doing something in the moment together. Do you want
to be part of that mystical, magical moment. We'll do
that right after the s break on Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 7 (12:43):
Benson Boone again, what.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Are you talking about?

Speaker 6 (12:45):
Magical?

Speaker 1 (12:46):
You gotta have a term like, Okay, Booner, that's good,
that's good.

Speaker 4 (12:50):
You guys, hear nothing but little easter eggs for Benson Boone, No,
I heard the rest?

Speaker 2 (12:55):
What did I say?

Speaker 7 (12:56):
A sip sip together, Fresno And.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Alright, six thirty four of the weather today Sunday this afternoon,
slightly cooler, tempt seventies to mid eighties for the weekend,
sunny and beautiful seventies and low eighties. Fifty nine Glendora's
sixteen Orange. Jill stepped out. John has the entertainment headlines
coming up, so Miley.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
Cyrus doesn't really tour anymore. And it turns out there's
a pretty serious reason as to why. I'll tell you
what she said coming up at six fifty.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
All right, Jill stepped out and went home. She wasn't
feeling well.

Speaker 4 (13:29):
She did this the other day too, And let me
get in front of your trolls before you do it.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
She's not pregnant. Yeah, don't text stop texting us if
that's what you think.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
Because I know that's what you guys always think. Like
Jill had to go home early. She must be filling
under the weather. She probably got that tummy thing that
you know pregnant ladies get.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
She doesn't the thing.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
About Jill's like, she's so mentally tough that you don't
even know she's dealing with something until the very last minute,
and she's like, all right, guys, I having to go
home right now.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
I can kind of tell she had a bit of
a cold anyway, so she stepped out. John's gonna fill
in with the entertainment headlines. She is not pregnant. I
will say that.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Now.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
I didn't check, you know, but she has the hallmark
signs of a cold, So I'm gonna go with that.
Am i huven a pregnancy testing course?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
That?

Speaker 4 (14:16):
So I don't really know one hundred percent, but I'm
telling you ninety nine point nine percent. I'm pretty sure
she's not pregnant. But it's not my business. So stop
asking me, stop texting me is she's pregnant?

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Stop it. Stop asking me to dress up as a
woman again too. People loved it of Reph. My god,
what a response. Mark Brian is a woman too.

Speaker 4 (14:42):
You'll look at our Instagram today and you'll realize what
we're talking about at Valance O the morning.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Now, let's do first nip.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
Let's take a moment to hoistar glasses in the air
and look at the weekend in front of us Memorial
Day weekend has great meaning. We have to remember what
it's all about for those men and women that serve
our country no longer with us, who paid the ultimate
sacrifice right incredible special people. Please to remember them and
their families this weekend, and as you go into your
final day of the week, give yourself a break, give

(15:11):
yourself some grace for so many of this little rat
race of the week. We try and get everything done.
We try and get all that stuff on a to
do list done, and sometimes we miss.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Sometimes we don't hit it.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
We try and be perfect and we don't always come
out perfect. Perfect is not a destination. It may be
a journey, but it's not a destination. Don't try and
be perfect. Don't try and be perfect. Be you and
be free to make mistakes and try new things, especially
for kids. I don't know if you're uplisting right now,
but go ahead, make mistakes. That's what life is all about.

(15:40):
You learn from mistakes. Somebody learned from doing it right.
You learn from all the mistakes you made prior to
getting it right. You don't have to be perfect. Give
yourself the grace to know that you do not have
to be perfect. You are amazing just the way you are.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Count us up, John, one two three.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
Guess she's not pregnant. Stop the text three one oh
four three. It is Valentine in the morning. We do
have a new music Friday coming up. Rab us Sonny Gomez.
This is Calm Down, Last Chance at one thousand dollars
today as well, that'll happen again at seven o'clock. He
is one oh four three. It is Friday, May twenty third.
I hope we're doing well today. Hope day is going well.

(16:22):
John's got a new music Friday to take it away.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
All right, a couple of songs for you guys today.
Let's start with Joe Jonas. He just dropped a solo
album today. It's called Music for People who Believe in Love.
And this is his submission for a song of the Summer.
It's called Honey Blonde.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
The Song of the Summer. It's his submission. Yeah, all right,
it's got a little summer vibe to it. Mission. And
this is like his first solo album in fourteen years.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
Oh my gosh, this is a big deal for Joe
Jonas to come out with this year.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
And he's like had a lot of help on this album.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
Frankie Jonas stars on his album The Little Bonus Jonas.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Does he do music, Frankie, he doesn't do much.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
But it's not the first song he's been on. Okay,
Like he does a little bit of music.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
So he's got an a for this. I didn't know Okay.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
And one of his songs is written by Lewis Capaldi too.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
Of the songs on Joe Jonas's album so kind of
a fun little album here. And I love the title
music for people who Believe in Love, So I think
it's very funny.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
How you go.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
It's this song in the Summer submission. I picture like
he's artists going, all right, Hi, I'm Joe Jonas. This
is my submission for US Song of the Summer. I've
been a musician for fourteen, you know, a number of
years whatever, and uh, I just I'm very excited about this,
and I hope you guys like it.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Thank you. Summer drop an album Memorial Day weekend.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
You gotta know, like some people are gonna be playing
this out on the water somewhere, you know.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Yeah, it's his music for people.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
Who believe in love from Joe Jonas, who.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Are those rich people playing it out on the water. John, Well,
I want to hang with those people right there.

Speaker 5 (17:34):
I'm gonna be on a boat this weekend and one
of our friends is a massive Jonas Brothers fan.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
You're in a boat this weekend. Yeah, we're gonna visit.

Speaker 5 (17:40):
My sister in South Carolina. Also the lake boat you
talked about it not a yacht or anything.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Right.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
All right, let's see.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Let's go to Benson Boone next looking for all the
booners and boonies. He's got a new single out. This
one is for the moms. It's called Mama Song.

Speaker 11 (17:55):
Cool.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
So Benson wrote this with his mom in mind.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
And when you see the art for the song here
in the music video, his mom's right there with him too,
he says, his mom's his best friend.

Speaker 1 (18:04):
Yeah, and this song is kind of like a love
letter to your parents, and.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
It kind of like reminds me that your parents had
a life before us, right, And of course he's talking
about Hey, mom, like show me all the history that
you have, like the nerves, your favorite song from when
you were a kid. And it made me think about
my mom a little bit. Like I have a friend
group right now, and when we have a baby in
that friend group, and sometimes I look at that baby
and I'm like, hey, like, who even are you? You know,
like you've been around six months, Like I've known your

(18:27):
parents for the last ten to fifteen years. And then
I start thinking about my mom and the life that
she had before me in all these different ways that
people know my mom that I don't.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Yeah, and it kind of makes me want to learn
those things. You know, what do you get possessive of
your friends? Like, listen, baby, you've been around six months.
I've known your friends for years. Sometimes, Yeah, how do
you manipulate their time so much? I know him longer
there with the baby all the time. We barely see
them anymore. It's like, you know, this whole life's changed
for this guy you barely.

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Yeah, No, you're right. I get that.

Speaker 4 (18:53):
I was in the I have a storage unit, and
I was in storage unit last night looking for some
old audio for the show, and I started going down
memory lane pulling all this stuff out. One thing I
learned I am a pack rat. I'm sorry. I apologized
to my wife and I came home. I go, I've
got a problem. I've got a deal with me in
a pack rat.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
We've seen your office here.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Yes, I know, I listen. I fully get it. I
get it. It hit me so hard in that storage
facility all alone last night in the dark, and it
was like, I'm a pack rat. But I started going
down memory lane too, and I saw the life that
we've had. I'm like, do you know what if I
went today, it was a good life.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Yeah, it really was.

Speaker 10 (19:25):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
And I think it's important too if your parents, you know,
if you're lucky enough to still have them around, Like
I feel like it'd be really cool to learn some of
those stories from them. So it could be a good
one to send to your mom today. This is Mama
song from Benson Boom.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
I'm not sure who Benson Bood's manager is, but I'm
just going to point out that maybe two three weeks earlier,
this might have been a better idea to drop it.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
He started teasing this around mothers he did okay online
were like posting their moms to it and stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yeah, it was a trend.

Speaker 5 (19:51):
So the next one here is a song from Alex Warren.
Now you might know Alex Warren from his song Ordinary.
You might have heard this one before. We played a
little bit here on MYFM. This has become one of
the biggest songs in the world right now. Well, Alex
Warren has now teamed up with Jelly Roll for a

(20:11):
new song and a message I just feel so passionately about.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
This is a song called Bloodline. I get it. Mm hm. Now,
we haven't really talked too much about Alex Warren.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
And he's got an incredible story, so it's very dude.
This dude has based some serious adversity. He lost his
dad when he was a kid to cancer. He was
kicked out at eighteen. He slept in cars for a
long period of time trying to make his dream happen,
and at first that came in the form of TikTok.
He co founded The High House, which is a bunch
of TikTokers who got together and rented this house to
do content. He got a massive following that way, but

(20:39):
then he started to do music and he's had a
couple of songs blow up and then Ordinary is the
number one song in a bunch of different countries right now.
So him teaming up with jelly Roll, who we know
has also overcome some serious circumstances. Them doing a song
together called bloodline made a lot of sense because it's
all about breaking that cycle, right.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
It doesn't matter where.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
You came from or who your family is. Like, you
don't have to follow your bloodline. If you got tomorrow,
we still got time.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
You know, blood lines are funny.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
It's not necessarily you know, you hear addiction in something
like this, or you hear alcoholism or drugs or something,
but it's also just how you treat people in the world.
How you you know, watch if you had narcissistic parents
or something, or if you saw a certain trait in
your parents, that not necessarily something you want to continue.
That's your choice to work on, not continuing that, not

(21:27):
passing that down to you're a kid. There's nothing worse
like as a parent to because nobody's perfect. And I
tell calmless, I'm not a perfect parent. You'll find false
at me throughout your life. But it's funny when there's
something that when of your parents did that in the
world's parenting may not have been perfect, and then you
see yourself do that in front of your kid.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
It's a moment where you go, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
I become my dad, I become my mom, become whatever,
and it's it's a horing moment when you suddenly realize
I've got to change that.

Speaker 12 (21:55):
For sure.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
A lot of those mental health things I do think
are hereditarian some way, and when you start noticing them
in yourself, if you're like, I gotta change that before
I passed.

Speaker 4 (22:02):
That way, not necessarily like biologically, but hereditary from learned behavior, right.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
And some biologically like some of those things can be
passed down very much. So this is Bloodline from Alex
Warren and Jelly Roll. You can stream all these songs
on the free I heard radio app. I'm Joon Kamuci.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
That's your new music Friday. Well, it's very intelligent music Friday.
We just had there. Yeah, man, let's dub it down
a bit.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
Oh excuse me, hmmm, all right. It's one of four
to three. My fam is Balanine in the.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Marning one of four to three Maya Film Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (22:35):
So, Hugh Jackman has refused to confirm or deny whether
or not his character Wolverine will be in Avengers Doomsday.
He was on the View recently and he was just
asked about the rumors of Wolverine appearing in that new
film and Hugh Jackman, of course, responded very cryptically saying,
I know whether or not I'm going to be in it,
but I'm not saying yeah. Of course, of course you know,
like did you show up to the set or not.

(22:55):
But of course Marvel is super high key or super
low key about all their stuff to make sure all
that secrets are locked down.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
So we're just gonna have to.

Speaker 5 (23:02):
Wait for like Tom Holland to leak it or something.
And we are one week away from Miley Cyrus's new album.
She's been doing some press and in an interview she
talked about the two main reasons that she doesn't tour anymore.
She hasentually said, number one, it's too hard on her body.
She wants to keep herself mentally and physically well. And
number two, she has this condition that affects her vocal cords.
She has a large pull up on her vocal cords,

(23:24):
which is kind of the reason for the tone she
has too. Sometimes you think Miley Cyrus sounds like a
little bit raspy in her tone, Well that is part
of the reason. It's like a clump of cells that
form that. And she says when she performs so often
it kind of feels like she's running a marathon with
some ankle weights on. Okay, it's very taxing on her
vocal cords, so I had no idea. Yeah, me neither,
to be honest. So if you ever wonder why Miley
doesn't really tour that much, that's kind of some insight

(23:45):
as to why John Camuci filling in for Jill with
your entertainment headline.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
I always just of liked your voice, and I thought
it was a natural raspinis. I didn't understand what was
going on medically to cause it. Raspbinus six point fifty.
It is Valentine in the Morning. This is one of
four to three MAFM. But our vocal cords are all
different too, like a man's voice. Generally, male voices are
deeper because we have fatter vocal cords. Do you guys
know that You did not? You didn't know that?

Speaker 10 (24:08):
Okay again, you guys are so smart.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
Read a book, dude.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
It looks like we're a very smart morning show. That's
what I'm here and one of four three min fammy,
it is Valentine in the Morning. This Texas came in. Hey,
val got some early morning happy news for you today.
I'm Leah. I'm in the eighth grade and I'm going
to Six Flags tonight for grad night. Have a great morning, Leah,
have fun.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Fun.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
So many kids too make that transition this year from
you know, junior high to high school. That's a big thing.
Go from eighth grade, ninth grade, ten, eleven to twelve
in you wake up and my kid's going to be
a rising senior.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Crazy? What what's the face? You called him a rising
junior as a rising senior. When does he stop rising?

Speaker 1 (24:47):
I think when it becomes a senior day one?

Speaker 4 (24:49):
Yeah, then you're not a rising senior anymore. It's a
thing in that like, especially in the junior it's a
rising junior. It's big in the athletics.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
So he is technically a junior. He's a junior right now.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
I'm sorry, Just what then when he's out he's a
rising senior.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
I got very confused.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
No, it's the thing that people say nowadays. It's very common.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
I don't know about that part, but we did question
him last year.

Speaker 5 (25:09):
We looked it up and unfortunately, like it's a thing,
it's my lesson and I'm running back this year.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
Right she's to be a rising senior so that's the
summer before you senior year. I'm sorry, right, kids, you
can use that. Don't listen to this guy who's not
in the know like you and me. Right, God, I
can't wait the chaperone comes in and we can do
that together live. She's gonna love how I do that
at the end of her song every time. So much fun. Yeah, hey,

(25:38):
no papoo and stuff. Today this is a bro show
Bro show Bro show Bro show. Jill's out and it's
a bunch of dudes hanging around, and then there's Laura,
Laura who by the way, Laura, you.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
Look stunning today. Thank you. And I don't mean you
don't look stunning other days.

Speaker 13 (25:53):
We sometimes it's you know, fair play, right, all of us.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
Right.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
But she's wearing a dress I haven't seen her in before.
She looks absolutely stunning and she's glowing, and I'm like,
what's going on, Laura.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
I'm buying my wedding dress today.

Speaker 13 (26:11):
So my best friend in the whole world flew in
from Australia last night.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Is she listening right now?

Speaker 13 (26:16):
I'm gonna say she's asleep er to be honest, and
she's here for the next two weeks. I am made
of honor proposing to her this weekend? If the boys
the brochop, he has no clue what it is.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
But do you really know what you're doing?

Speaker 13 (26:31):
Well, she knows it's coming, like she knows.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
She's mad.

Speaker 11 (26:34):
Shet her.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
She's like, I'm flying there. I better get made of
honor exactly. So today you propose to her? Yes, I Jerry,
that is not a thing.

Speaker 13 (26:41):
It is a thing.

Speaker 4 (26:42):
No, it's come on, I bet it's one of these
things like over the years like, oh yeah, Susanna be
my made of honor.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Great.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
I don't think my wife ever proposed to somebody to
be the maid of honor. That happened on TikTok last week.

Speaker 13 (26:52):
And look at bridesmaid proposal boxes. So not only do
you have to do it verbally, you have to gift
them something. Oh my god, people spent up to a
thousand dollars per proposal.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
What how many?

Speaker 4 (27:05):
So just the bridesmaid are all the weight the whole.
You have to do this for every bridesmaid.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
How many do you have?

Speaker 13 (27:11):
So I have five, including you're broke.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
But it's interesting listening to brides versus grooms because the
grooms are like, here's a pair of socks be my groomsmen.

Speaker 10 (27:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (27:18):
Yeah, to clarify, I did not spend anyway any of
that amount of money. But it's a problem because most
of my bridesmaids are in Australia, so I've got to
ship at all back. But anyway, yes, buy my dressed.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Tack so excited. Can I give one tip about weddings? Okay,
and this is not from any great knowledge of weddings
over the years, and please call in with your happy
news or texting at three one oh four to three.
I've been a groomsman in a couple weddings, not tons, right,
just a few. And I do remember them giving me
gifts because I was a groomsman.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
But it was always like a plate or a plaque
that had their wedding date and everything on it.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
What do you think I'm gonna do with that?

Speaker 13 (27:52):
I'm all over that people.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Memorialize your wedding date on a plate and give it
to me, Like I'm going to hang it up at
my house with other plates that have dates on them.

Speaker 13 (27:59):
Respect Like I don't want merch with your name on it.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
Thank you better way of putting it, Laura, thank you.
We don't know we don't want to merch with your
name on it?

Speaker 2 (28:07):
What are we gonna do with it? We have a
flask from like a friend of mine. That's kind of cool.
She used that flat every morning here.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
All right, I've done it's been our initials on it
not yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
Yeah, okay, well then maybe things are changing. But back
in my day it was merch. Like Laura said, We're like,
what am I doing with this silk jacket that says
Billy was married on the third of whatever?

Speaker 2 (28:28):
What am I going to do with that?

Speaker 8 (28:29):
You know?

Speaker 13 (28:29):
Very interesting merch for our wedding.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
Okay, all right, we're looking forward to it, not safe
for it, so we'll just all right, we're not looking
forward to it.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
It is a battle of the sexes. Represent the man.
His name is Peter. Hey, Peter, how you doing it?

Speaker 4 (28:43):

years ago.

Speaker 2 (28:47):

Speaker 4 (28:47):

joyce road trips to the family.

Speaker 2 (28:52):

here's how it works, Sharon. I'm gonna ask you a
few questions.

Speaker 2 (29:13):

Speaker 4 (29:13):
Jill is not here, so John will be asking me
the questions. Best of the three Winstill time getting the regulation.

Three Things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Seven twenty two. It's valid ten in the morning. This
is one of four three mim the number of people
travel for the Memorial Day weekend expected to break records.
That's scorting the Triple A. They say about three point
six million people in southern California or hitting the road.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
Or hopping in a plane like me for the long weekend.
As usual, the most congested freeway will be the five
heading north out of LA I don't miss that. We
had moved in recent years for high school from Santa
Crita to the Thousand Oaks area, and I do not
miss at five North. But I just get hit by
the one on one, four or five now anyway, Yesterday,
the legendary rapper and producer Doctor Dre joined city officials

(32:30):
to celebrate some major renovations for Compton High School. The
new campus will replace buildings who are about one hundred
and twenty years old, and the school now has an
Olympic sized pool and large gym and the Doctor Dre
Performing Arts Center.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Doctor Dre was born and raised a Compton. He said
he had no creative outlet when he was growing up,
which is why he donated ten million dollars to help
rebuild the school. Wow, nice job, that's awesome, John can
what you got the music news?

Speaker 5 (32:57):
So we are one week away from that new Miley
Cyrus album. There's a visual part two it as well.
It's part album, part visual movie. And today she just
dropped the official trailer for Something Beautiful. It's gonna be
in the theaters for one night only in June, but
that album is due out next Friday.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
I'll post this trailer up on our Instagram.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
It looks gorgeous. You gotta see it at Valentine in
the morning. John Kamuchi, that's today's music news.

Speaker 4 (33:19):

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Give you fear like woman.

Speaker 15 (33:53):
Come now, it's your happy news. It's eight six six
five four four.

Speaker 4 (34:01):
One of these texts coming in says Duke, the brave
dog that escaped five coyotes got adopted yesterday morning.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
What's nice.

Speaker 4 (34:08):
I talked to a friend of mine who's a wildlife biologist,
and one of the things they noted when you're watching
that video, I didn't know this, so I talked to her.
One of the things they noted was the coyotes weren't
like trying to end the dog, so to speak, or
anything like that. Sure, they were trying to mark their
territory and say like, hey, get out of here, what's
going on? And the dog very smartly protected itself, right.

(34:30):
They were nipping out it, of course, and then backed
itself into a corner where the coyotes couldn't get to it,
and actually kind of like said the coatter is okay, okay,
I get it. Because he put his tail under his
hind quarters and was saying, all right, I get it,
you're dominant, and just kind of stood there. The codies
weren't looking at him as a food source. They don't
look at other dogs like that size as a food source,
so go after smaller dogs, obviously. But yeah, so it

(34:51):
was more of a dominance thing from those coyotes. But
we love Duke. Duke's a man. Wuss up, Duke, You're
forever home loving that story. Our son was named most
Outstanding student in Algebra during eighth grade awards last night.
Today's Senior Goodbye rally at my school, last rally of
the year for all the seniors. If you guys are
graduating high school, congratulations. I know it's probably a bittersweet
moment and stuff because you have so many wonderful memories.

(35:13):
But you just hold onto those memories and think of
all the great stuff that's in front of you too,
And be kind your mom and dad because they are
losing their minds, especially if they're helicopter parents that have
won child.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Hey, Michelle, what's your happy news?

Speaker 16 (35:27):
So I am a teacher for Lynn Went, and we
are taking our eighth graders to grad fash at Universal,
so I'm kind of excited.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
We just had a young lady text in earlier about
going to grad night at six Flags.

Speaker 16 (35:38):
I know, and everyone's spread out, which is fine because
all the kids.

Speaker 8 (35:42):
It's going to be crazy.

Speaker 16 (35:43):
Yesterday, the last couple of nights and last week too.
Some kids win, so yeah, it's gonna be fun and crazy.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
Trying to remember grad night is that like a specific
age that generally goes because you're saying eighth grade.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
She was eighth grade. I did when my senior year
of high school. So you did at Disneyland.

Speaker 16 (35:59):
Oh okay, I guess it just depends. I think the
high schools usually get Disney and or six Flags. Eighth
graders get Universal or what are you saying?

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Sixth grader down the street?

Speaker 16 (36:14):
Well, and then some like my my West Colbina district,
I think one of the schools went to not so,
I mean, it's just not a gratin night, but they
went for the day, right, So it just depends, I guess.
But yeah, either way, it's fun.

Speaker 12 (36:26):
We all these teachers are going to be suffering, you
know how it works.

Speaker 16 (36:29):
But at the same time we'll have.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
Fun too, So yeah, I enjoy yourselves, and you're also
saying school's out. I've got the summer schools out, I've
got a break almost.

Speaker 2 (36:38):
You're almost there. You can see the finish line, can't you.

Speaker 16 (36:40):
Yes, we're done on the eleventh. But I'm teaching summer school,
so I'm going through mid July.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Why are you doing that?

Speaker 16 (36:48):
I have four kids. I'll put it to you that way.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
There's the answer. Pair of teachers.

Speaker 12 (36:53):
More.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Yeah, text Valentine in the morning at three one four
three Johnson and for Jill's got the entertainment headline coming up.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
This could be the.

Speaker 5 (37:01):
Biggest Memorial Day weekend of all time at the box office.
So I got that movie and TV line up for
this weekend coming up at seven fifty.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Blake, mom, man, what's your happy news? What's going on?

Speaker 15 (37:12):
So my happiness is that I am going to Kansas
City for a charity event because I am going to
meet Patrick Mahomes and I am going to throw a
pass to Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
Okay, hold everything, You're going to Kansas City. You're going
to meet Patrick Mahomes, a great quarterback for the Chiefs,
Super Bowl MVP, and you're gonna get to throw a
pass to Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 15 (37:36):
Yeah, he's my favorite.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
How are you getting to do this? What's the story
behind this if you don't mind me asking?

Speaker 15 (37:42):
Uh So, my dad was doing a charity event and
we were going to see Tyreek Hill, but he moved
to the Dolphins. So they were like, we went to
go see Tyreek Hill and they were like, do you
want to see Charlvis County And my dad's like, yes,
I'll buy that and Chavis couldn't make it the first time,

(38:04):
so we had to reschedule it. Then he couldn't make
it this time. So we're going to see Patrick Mahomes

Speaker 11 (40:42):
He's such a wonderful kid. Yeah, very respectable young man,
and me and Dad couldn't be prouder of him.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
Did you just lose it? Did you cry so much
when he walked in the room.

Speaker 11 (40:53):

seven years in myself, so keep at it.

Speaker 17 (42:20):
Nice, very nice.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
Yeah, And there are plenty of ups and downs, but
you're making a life together, so in the end you
just shoot for more ups and downs.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Bethany, I love hearing people's secret.

Speaker 5 (42:30):
What would you say it's been what's been your secret
so far in these last seven years or ten years?

Speaker 12 (42:35):
I would say the secret is just listening to each
other and actually actually listening.

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Explain that a little bit more. What do you mean
actually listening?

Speaker 12 (42:47):
So sometimes you would hear someone say something and you'll
be like, Okay, yeah, I hear you saying that, but
you don't actually like take that information in. So I
would say, actually take the information in kind of like
reflect on it, and then then you have more of
an understanding of their perspective.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
You know who doesn't actually listen?

Speaker 9 (43:10):
Who?

Speaker 4 (43:11):
I have been married twenty seven plus years. This guy
sees me every single day. He has never asked me
any advice about how a couple stays together.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
The time. He always blow it off with some joke.

Speaker 4 (43:24):
You always blow it off with a joke. I do
not serious with me that. I'm very serious all the time.
People know that I'm a very serious person. Bethany, have
a great day. Okay, thank you, I'm very serious. Bethany

I teach at four different schools. My school right now
is Randall Pepper Elementary.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
Holy kow, four different schools. What's going on with that?

Speaker 12 (43:53):
I do call it enrichment? And so I see four
different TK classes.

Speaker 2 (44:00):

Speaker 4 (44:01):
Well, thank you for what you're doing. Congrats the anniversary,

You're like, you said it's Bloomhouse, right, Yeah, I don't know,
but it was my fault. I heard Blue House and
we're like, is that a DJ?

He's a blue Mouse. I'm sorry, I thought blue Mouse too.
He's got a day club tomorrow. Blue Mouse is in

Speaker 5 (45:16):
The Bluemhouse is a huge producer, dude of horror movies
and stuff. No, but they have a video game coming
out on Meta Horizon. This is kind of gnarly too,
like it uses characters from their movies. But this is
also online in virtual reality, so it's called Blumhouse Horror Verse,
and you can play as characters from The Purge, Black Phone,
the wolf Man, a lot of their different experiences, and

(45:36):
again it's VR, so you're seeing all these things pop
out at you and stuff. This is in the folder
for absolutely not for me, but there are some sickos
out there that love horror.

Speaker 1 (45:44):

Speaker 4 (45:47):

That. Give me another chance, Give another chance, right.

Speaker 4 (47:20):

And the only thing we got different is microphones. That's
the only difference between your table and ours. Right, all right,
hang out, We'll get you to all set.

(49:09):
you'll be off to see the weekend. And so far
it is one of four three MIFM. This is Valence
in the Morning. I was at the storage facility last
night just I was looking for some audio for the
show from something from years and years ago. And I
was just searching through old stuff and I found some
things that were just in boxes that I thought, we're curious.
And then what I did is I brought them home
to the house. My wife's like, why are you bringing
junk back from the storage facilding. I found my old

(49:32):
handcuffs for when I was a police officer, and I
handed my handcuffs to Colin so he could feel him.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
He's never held handcuffs before, and he goes, these are heavy.

Speaker 4 (49:39):
I go, yeah, these are peerless, stainless steel cuffs. And
I should have had to load the cuff. The cuff itself,
if you go a certain number of clicks when you're
putting it on your suspect or anybody you're detaining, you
kind of can hit the wrist and it goes right
around the wrist really fast.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
It's called loading the cuffs.

Speaker 4 (49:56):
And as I do that and cuff my son in
the kitchen hollers.

Speaker 1 (50:01):
Hope you got the key for those That's my next question.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
Yeah, where did I put that? Where did I put
that key? Oh?

Speaker 4 (50:09):
Here it is okay, Thank god. For like a split second,
I was like, boo funny though, all right? Later on
this hour, has anyone ever kissed your baby without asking?

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Text in at three one oh four to three it says,
super random.

Speaker 5 (50:24):
But we did get a text this morning at three
one oh four to three it says, I'm a new
mom with a four month old baby girl. And last
night this lady at Von's was telling me how cute
she was, and then she just leaned in and kissed
her on the cheek. Oh is that normal?

Speaker 2 (50:37):
No, you can't just lean in and kiss somebody's baby
without asking.

Speaker 4 (50:41):
For missing. To kiss a baby, you gotta treat the baby.
Not like a dog, but kind of like a dog.
When you see a dog in a supermarket and you go,
oh my god, such a cute puppy. Do you mind
if I pet your dog? We asked the pet dogs
all the time. Then you kneel down, you hold out
your hand, allow the dog to sniff you and become
friends with you. So you have to you know, kneel down,
let the baby sniff you and hold out your hold

(51:01):
out your mouth. I don't know, hold out your mouth.
That's that's a proper way to do it. Have sent
we ever done that to your babies?

Speaker 10 (51:07):
No, but I have had people pinch the cheeks, tickle
the tummy without really fully asking people get so, you know,
drawn to babies.

Speaker 2 (51:15):
Sometimes they just they just.

Speaker 4 (51:18):
When you say pinch the cheeks, you mean on the face, right, Yes,
it is the Battle of the sexes. Rep cent the

Speaker 2 (55:25):
He's the best.

Speaker 3 (55:26):
Three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 4 (55:29):
All right, it's eight twenty, it's balance out in the morning.
This is one of four three MIFM. Five years ago,
governed Newsom announced plans the ban the sale of all
new gas powered cars in the state by twenty thirty five. Yesterday,
the California Senate blocked that band because they say requiring
people to switch to electric vehicles would cost too much
for both consumers and car manufacturers. Newsom and state air

(55:51):
regulators say what Congress is doing is illegal. They plan
the suit to try and keep the rules in place.
So it was a California Senate, which is I assume
democratically controlled, they blocked the band. Bray, I don't know
that it's democratically. I think the California Senate is not
democratical control.

Speaker 10 (56:06):
From what I was reading about this, this was shocked
a Republican initiative to stop.

Speaker 4 (56:11):
This really, so, I don't know the Well, somebody might
have noticed that if we all switch to electric vehicles,
they're not getting their money in their gas tax. Oh
somebody figured that one out. Hey, if you're a fan
of the game, Uno, Mattel is opening a high stakes
Uno social club in Vegas next month.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
Oh my god. I'm not a gambler, but this sounds amazing.
I love Uno. I love nothing more than dropping down
a drawer four and just drawing draw four. This is
for adults only.

Speaker 4 (56:43):
There's gonna be special Uno theme drinks, photo ops, at
udo tournaments. Mattel will also have special Uno pop ups
around the country, including one here in La Night. We'll
keep you inform about that. John'scot the music news.

a good one to maybe send your mom or dad today.
Can stream it on that free I Heard radio app.
It's called Mama Song from Benson Boom from John Kamuchi.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
That's today's music news.

Speaker 4 (57:28):
Apparently we have a slight a dandem a slide update
to one of our news stories.

Speaker 2 (57:31):
Brian, would you like to take it away? It was
not the California Senate.

Speaker 10 (57:34):
It was the US Senate that blocked the UH phasing
out of guest powered cars.

Speaker 2 (57:42):
Big note for That's why it was like California Senate. Yeah,
you immediately knew. It's one of four to three. Mind,
then it's a balance out in the morning.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
If you've just graduated college and you're looking to be
a journalist or newswriter and you want to be part
of balance Out in the morning, you.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
Don't need to go to college for this act checker stories.
Trust me, we'll reach out. We'll take you.

Speaker 4 (58:01):
Three one oh four to three. All right, it's Valentine
in the morning coming up. Has anybody ever kissed your
baby without asking permission? Should that be a loud or
baby's just so kissable you can't resist?

Speaker 2 (58:13):
What do you think? Three one oh four to three,
nine o'clock this morning? Right here? One of four three?
M Hi Lana, Yes, Hi, Lana. Where you calling from
from city? Oh?

Speaker 4 (58:24):
Man, I wish you were in like Marina del Rey,
because then you could be Lana del Ray.

Speaker 2 (58:28):
My lord, so cool, so cool, Lana, who's been kissing
your baby?

Speaker 8 (58:34):
So? Do you guys know what observerer is?

Speaker 2 (58:37):
Yeah? I do know.

Speaker 4 (58:38):
It's I'll do it on the radio. You're ready, you
get in really close. Let me take the mic guard
off because I used to do this Swiss on all
the time on their belly, and you're like.

Speaker 8 (58:50):
Yes, it's basically like blowing on someone's belly. My husband's
coworker did it to my son and it was just
super weird.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
Did he lift up his shirt?

Speaker 8 (59:01):
Yeah? Yeah, they lifted up his short and they sit
it on his belly. And I was like, this is
so weird, Like what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (59:08):
And it makes it very strange because her son is
a junior in high school.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
And how old is your kid, Lana, he's one. That's weird. Yeah.
Then it's like his spit on your kid's belly.

Speaker 8 (59:21):
Yeah, it's so weird.

Speaker 2 (59:22):
Did you say anything?

Speaker 8 (59:23):
I was almost so shocked that, like I couldn't process
quickly enough.

Speaker 4 (59:27):
Keep that in mind next time they tried that stunt again,
you go over to them, pull up their shirt and
give them a zerber.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
Let me hear your practice on the phone. Give me
your best serber right into the phone. Go ahead. You
can't even do it, you know you can, ma'am. This
is training. You're in training right now. Zerber the phone. Laana.

Speaker 4 (59:58):
Thank you, Yeah, thank you you just graduated. Congratulations, I
love you, Lina, Thanks for calling.

Speaker 8 (01:00:06):
All right, thanks, guys.

Speaker 4 (01:00:07):
Have a wonderful weekend, and I hope you have a blessed,
beautiful weekend of your family.

Speaker 8 (01:00:11):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
Say you to Valentine in the morning at three one
oh four to three.

Speaker 2 (01:00:17):
Two on a four to three. My fami idiot is
eight thirty two.

Speaker 4 (01:00:19):
The weather Today's Sunday this afternoon slightly cooler seventies and
mid eighties for the weekend sunny beautiful in seventies and
low eighties sixty three and Bellflowers sixty two and Fullerton
John sitting for Jill has got the entertainment headlines coming up?

Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars have both changed their
release dates.

Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
How far long are they being pushed down the road?

Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
If you're an Avengers fan, get those calendars out will
update them at six fifty or eight to fifty.

Speaker 4 (01:00:40):
You can text in three one o four three or
call eight sixty six five four four mifam. Has anybody
ever tried to kiss your baby?

Speaker 8 (01:00:46):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
Just such an absurd question? No, it's not. People go
through this all the time.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
The amount of people in text line I'm a brunette,
my baby is a Gerber baby, blonde, a blonde lady
at the checkout line of the grocery store and made
motions to touch him, kiss him. While I was holding him.
I made some very non verbal motions pulling him back
while politely smiling. She did not like it and said
I can take him since he looks more like me
than you.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
Oh God, I was speechless. She faked laugh. I did not.
We turned around.

Speaker 5 (01:01:16):
You remember getting a text from my best friends when
they had their baby, and they did tell our entire
group chat, please no one kiss our baby while you
see them for the first time.

Speaker 4 (01:01:23):
Right, they could also get you know, sickness whatever. They're
developing their immune system. Before our daughter was born, somebody
saying the same thing. Before our daughter was born, we
told everyone not to kiss her daughter, but my fiance's
parents still kissed her. He would tell them each time
we saw them, do not kiss the baby, but they
still did.

Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Very frustrating.

Speaker 4 (01:01:40):
Yeah, I get that parents are a tough one, right,
parents are very tough in that respect. Heyy call, did
somebody kiss your baby without asking?

Speaker 8 (01:01:48):
No?

Speaker 14 (01:01:48):
So they have a kissed first.

Speaker 6 (01:01:50):
But when she was a baby, she had really, really.

Speaker 14 (01:01:53):
Curly hair and they felt a need to just run
their fingers Yeah, they would just touch her hair and
eat even the thought of them, even if they asked, like, oh,
kind of set your hair, I think that would still
be a little weird.

Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
Yeah, because a lot of us, due to societal pressure,
when we're asked for something, we just cave.

Speaker 12 (01:02:09):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:02:09):
Somebody goes, oh my god, can I you know, little
old lady, can I kiss your baby?

Speaker 2 (01:02:13):
Okay, little old lady kiss the baby.

Speaker 4 (01:02:15):
But we should be saying no, I'm uncomfortable with you
kissing my child. But because we're afraid to be rude,
and it's not being rude in that respect, but we're
so afraid of being seeing rude that we don't say.

Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
Anything, you know.

Speaker 14 (01:02:26):
Yeah, And even when she was, you know, like three
or four, we were the same thing. Like this lady
behind her was like, oh, you know, your daughter's beautiful hair,
and she just like ran her fingers through her hair.
And at that kind of that's really uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (01:02:39):
It's so weird.

Speaker 4 (01:02:41):
Let me tell you what would happen if I walked
up to a woman in the store, said you have
beautiful hair and ran my fingers through her hair. Oh no, right,
God forbid, I gave her a server. Would you like to.
By the way, we had so much fun doing that.
Would you like to do your deserber on the Airnicle?

Speaker 5 (01:02:59):
Okay, let me try, Nicole, You're a real one.

Speaker 6 (01:03:08):
I try.

Speaker 2 (01:03:09):
Oh my god, Nicole.

Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
People ask me sometimes when they haven't listened to the
show and I'm trying to promote it or something like that,
to go, what do you guys do on your show?

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
What do you talk about? Have a great weekend, Nicole, Thank.

Speaker 9 (01:03:21):
Gosh, thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (01:03:23):
Have a happy long weekend.

Speaker 4 (01:03:27):
Espresso's carpenter, My Fan's Valentine Morning, Ronica, how you doing.

Speaker 17 (01:03:32):
I'm doing well. It's Friday.

Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
Hell, Jill's out today, she's home six. So it's a
bro Shure bro Shure bro show. So in short, you
have to class the join up.

Speaker 12 (01:03:45):
A bit oh classic, Oh for sure?

Speaker 17 (01:03:48):
For sure.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
What happened to the baby who tried to kiss it?

Speaker 17 (01:03:52):
Our chiropractor, So we took her to get adjusted when
she was six weeks and I guess she was just
so shows that she like kissed her on her on
her forehead, Like she gave her a couple of kisses
on her forehead, And I mean I thought it was innocent,
like she saw me throughout my pregnancy, and she probably
thought like, oh, you know, this is my first time

(01:04:12):
seeing her and she is really cute. Like yeah, I
don't know. I didn't say anything. I just thought, oh, okay,
like she feels comfortable to give her a little forehead kiss.

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
I think thick phrase was multiple kisses.

Speaker 17 (01:04:27):
You said, yeah, maybe like two or.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
Three little kissing my kid.

Speaker 4 (01:04:33):
You're adjust You had to get your baby adjusted though,
was six weeks old.

Speaker 17 (01:04:36):
Yeah, it's actually really great for infants. They've been you know,
like cooped up and inside for nine months and they
you know, get to adjust them sometimes. It helps with
their with the alcolic. You know, it lines everything. So
we take all our kids to the chiropractor.

Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
Whoops, never heard of that. Forgot about that one.

Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
It's so funny, like because your kid's obviously younger than mine,
mine's seventeen is a right senior pretty soon here. It's
weird when you hear what other parents do, as you know,
as time design you learn stuff, you're.

Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
Like, oh, man, I never did that. Whoops, you know,
forgot it.

Speaker 4 (01:05:07):
Yeah, maybe it was the no on wasn't It wasn't
back in my day. But that's where I go now
to get all my kisses.

Speaker 17 (01:05:17):
Thanks Rod the chiropractor.

Speaker 4 (01:05:18):
Yeah, it's a thing. It's a thing. Kissing on the forehead.
Thanks having a great weekend.

Speaker 17 (01:05:24):
Thank you you two things.

Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
One oh four to three. My sm entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (01:05:29):
So Avengers Doomsday and Avenger Secret Wars have both had
the release dates changed. They're originally scheduled for May of
next year, now they're moved to December of next year
and now twenty twenty seventh. Avengers Doomsday it's pushback its
release dates from May first to December December eighteenth, and
Avenger Secret Wars will now open December seventeenth of twenty
twenty seventh instead of May of that year as well.

(01:05:51):
Insider say, these are supposed to be some of the
biggest Marvel movies that have ever been made, so this
kind of helps the production schedules there, which I'm down for.

Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Don't rush these films.

Speaker 1 (01:05:59):
I feel like there's a lot at steak right now
for Marvel, so take your time.

Speaker 5 (01:06:03):
And Regal Movies has officially released It's Jurassic World Rebirth
popcorn bucket.

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
These have been kind of a thing lately.

Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
You may remember some of the famous ones from like
Dune or Deadpool and Wolverine. Well, for Jurassic World, you're
going to be eating popcorn out of this incubator container
for dinosaurs. But the fun part is as you're eating
the popcorn, there's a dinosaur in the popcorn, surrounded by it,
and as you eat it, you kind of uncover this
secret dinosaur that's in the popcorn.

Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Bus you're eating the popcorn, he's eating you.

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
Literally, they're trying to be so creative with this thing.

Speaker 5 (01:06:32):
You'll only be able to get these at Regal theaters
when Jurassic World Rebirth is in theaters, which is going
to be July second. John Camuchi filling in for Jill
with your entertainment headlines.

It is Valentine in the morning. Jill went home today.
She's not sick in the sense that she's having a
baby or something, so I don't say.

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
That that's getting out wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:09:06):
But anytime like Jill's not here, people like, oh my gosh,
she's pregnant. She's got morning sickness or.

Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
Something starting with us.

Speaker 4 (01:09:11):
No, she had a bit of a cold, and we
just send her home because she had a bit of
a cold. And also, like, you know, if you got

I've got to go clean out my mom's house in Connecticut,
so we all have stuff to do. So it was
sweet of her to stay home. It was suspect she
got sick on a three day weekend. People are pointing
that out in the text line.

Speaker 2 (01:09:36):
Like that's some shirt.

Speaker 4 (01:09:38):
She started that cough yesterday and then couldn't come in today.

Come sedan's and SUV's to full sized trucks. Experience the
incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota elect Thus five
three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 4 (01:10:03):
So, the number of people traveling for the Memorial Day
weekend expected the break records. That's according to the Triple A.
They say about three point six million people in socaal
will be hitting the road or hopping on a plane
for the long weekend. As usual, the most congestive freeway
will be the five heading north out of LA Yesterday,
the legendary rapper and producer doctor Dre joined city officials
to celebrate some major renovations for Compton High School. The

(01:10:24):
new campus will replace buildings that we're about one hundred
twenty years old. The school now has an Olympic sized
pool and large Jim and the Doctor Dre Performing Art Center.
Doctor Dre was born and raised Compton. He says he
had no creative outlet when he was growing up. That's
why he donated ten million dollars to help rebuild the school.

Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
John's got the music news.

Speaker 5 (01:10:43):
Well, we are one week away from Miley Cyrus's new album,
Something Beautiful, and it's an visual album as well, so
she just dropped the official trailer for that visual element
to it. It's going to be in theaters one night
only next month, but the album is due out next Friday.
We'll post that trailer up on our Instagram if you're curious.

Speaker 2 (01:10:59):
To see it.

Speaker 5 (01:10:59):
I found Time in the Morning, John Camuci. That's today's
music news.

Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
It is Valenceine in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
So we do have tickets for the weekend, basically all
day long today and my m free ticket Friday.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
You get your kid a chain.

Speaker 10 (01:11:18):
Yes, he has a dolphin pendant thing that he needs
a chain for.

Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
And oh no, yes dolphins. Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:11:26):
Oh no, wait didn't Oh no, what's going on? Didn't
like your your wife's ex play for the Dolphins or something?

Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Oh my god, that was the Packers. Oh thank god? Okay,
got she's into the Dolphins. Different. All right?

Speaker 10 (01:11:38):
Say there my wife's x they got on like a
day or two X day and I, for some reason
get in trouble when you bring this up.

Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
I'm sorry. Could you makes it seem like it was
an ex boyfriend and we went on one day.

Speaker 4 (01:11:51):
It's a whole thing. Nobody told me. I've heard different stories, Kyle.
I'm so sorry. I've heard stories in her tales. Who knows.
So he wants a chain for his dolphin panda. Yes,
he's old a kid, he's eight and he wants to
start word a chaine around the neck.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
At eight.

Speaker 10 (01:12:05):
He wears a chain all the time. Yes, and now
the one that he had is lost. He's off school today,
so he's been facetiming me from his.

Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
iPad all morning.

Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
Law are you picking up my chain on the way
Home's hold up, we're going on the air.

Speaker 10 (01:12:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:12:19):
He's literally like, Hey, I'm at work right now, like
I kind of need some space, and he's like, no,
but Dad, stay on the phone with me.

Speaker 3 (01:12:26):
One O four to three May Film Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (01:12:30):
So Hugh Jackman has refused to confirm her deny whether
or not his character Wolfverine is going to be in
the new Avengers Doomsday movie. He was on the View
this week and he was asked about those rumors whether
or not Wolverine's gonna appear in the new film, and
he of course responded very cryptically saying, I know, but
I'm not saying of course he knows. But you know
how Marvel is, they keep everything locked down pretty tight,

(01:12:51):
So it looks like we're not going to find out
any other characters until they're ready to share it with us.
And we're about one week away from Miley Cyrus's new album.
She's been doing some press and in an interview she
kind of talked about the two main reasons that she
doesn't tour anymore. She said, essentially, number one, it's too
hard on her body. She says she really wants to
keep herself mentally and physically well, and the tour can.

Speaker 2 (01:13:09):
Be very demanding.

Speaker 5 (01:13:10):
And number two, she has a condition that affects her
her vocal cords. She said, there's a large pull up
on her vocal corse, which kind of gives her the
tone that she has that's kind of recognizable, that's kind
of the tone she's known for, and part of the
reason that she kind of sounds raspy in some ways,
And it's because of this clump of cells that form
on your vocal cords. So she says, when she performs,
it kind of feels like she's running a marathon with
ankle weights on.

Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
So it's really hard to tour like that.

Speaker 5 (01:13:32):
So if you ever wonder why Maley Cyrus doesn't really
tour that much anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
That kind of gives you some insight.

Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
I'm trying comunci filling in for Jill with her entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (01:13:39):
All right, John, Thinkavery's show, your think every show. Michael Pulman,

Liz Fox coming up next. Have a great weekend, remember
