Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table, A Valentine in the Morning.
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
Oh my God, help us respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It is Valence out in the morning. Good morning, Jill,
How are you?

Speaker 4 (00:14):
Good morning? Doing all right?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
All right?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
You sleep in yesterday?

Speaker 4 (00:17):
I did.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
We're the day off. It's June teenth, yesterday, and it's
a federally Recoonnest holiday in our company, so it was
a holiday a round here. We were sag after though,
so we had to take a vacation. Did to have
that day off yesterday? Which is fine, But I'm glad
that you you had decided that we should take it
as a show. This is Jail's decision. You left it underwork.
I did. I was coming in.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
You said you were good either way, and then.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah, but you know me, Yeah I do.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
That's why I thought we would take the day off.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
How many days do I take off? I rarely take
days off.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
But we take off Labor Day, we take off Memorial Day.
We take off the fourth of July. Like if typically
company has a come like a mandated holiday, we usually
take it off.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Well, it was a mandate. We could have taken it
off or not taken it off.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
But Valentine left the studio and said, whatever you guys decide,
that will be the decision. And he left and he
let us talk, and Brian was really leaving it up
to us, saying he would come in if we want
to do a show.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Who was the one that decided really that?

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:19):
Was you?

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (01:20):
Can I There's even more to this though, because this
was leading up to we couldn't make a decision, and
John Peak was like, we just have to know do
we have people here or not?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
We just can you tell me?

Speaker 7 (01:31):
And we couldn't make a decision until yesterday in the
middle of the show yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
But what do you mean people here or not? Who
was coming in? Like you need to schedule the phone operator?
You know? Again, know that is true. There was no
big change, but we just didn't show up for whatever reason.
It was very difficult to get an answer, so I
left the room so I let democracy do its work.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
We were saying, the show is called Valentine in the morning,
and in the morning should not have to make the decision.
Valentine should make the decision. So then finally, Brian, would
you like.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Me to make more decisions about your life? I mean,
why do I have to make the decisions because.

Speaker 4 (02:11):
We, honestly all of us were saying we're good either way.
We're good either way. And then Brian finally said, take
the politeness out of it, Jill, what do you want
to do? And I said I'd love a day off,
and boom, I was decided. And that's what happened.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
John, what did you say, Oh, it's not my decision
to make. He really didn't say anything.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
He did and Brian kind of yelling at each other.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
It was very intense.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
My seniority is not there. You guys decide.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I go along with it. I bring the vibes. Well,
hope you enjoyed your dale.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I hope you did too. You have the day off.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I was up early.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
You came in.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yeah, I was here yesterday. I came in and made
sure everything ran correctly. I FaceTime you guys. Don't nobody
answered you?

Speaker 4 (02:55):
And Adam just here hanging out.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, five five month, bro, good guy. He's one of
four to three Maya fam.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
One, four to three Maya Food four three.

Speaker 8 (03:06):
Maya Fam my fam.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
It's vallance out of the morning. It's Friday. If you
guys want to reach out and be part of the show,
three one o four three three one oh four Three'd
love to hear from you guys, Please do reach out.
What's going on with y'all. What's happening? It's Friday? What
you did your nose? Playing your nose?

Speaker 7 (03:27):
We do that, okay. Sometimes you're a very funny guy.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Oh, thank you. And if I don't say that, it's true,
thank you.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
And sometimes it is just like the way you say
something and yeah, I don't know, and I couldn't stop
laughing at something you had just said. Right, And there's
a technique if you ever need to stop laughing, maybe
you're at a funeral and someone makes a joke with something.
If you just put your fingers over your nostrils, huh,
it looks like a mania. It helps you to stop laughing. Right,

(03:57):
And so Jyl and I will do that a lot
here to not be like here, gotcha.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
You don't want to sound like a crazy person just
laughing for noum right, right, yeah, all right, I gotcha.
I thought you guys had nasal issues. No, crank it
out the flownaise over there trying to get things to work.
And again, you know what she's afraid to do. And
I've asked her to do this many times because Jill
is like a myriad of health concerns. Right, And she
was talking about her nose and having an issue with

(04:23):
her nose, which she shan't go into what the issue was.
I have this nasal cleansing system that is powered suction.
It shoots water up one side of the nostril via
power so it's battery operated, shoots it up one side
and then sucks it out the other side. Cleans out
your nasal cavity. Right. And they have the old netty
pot with something that worked due to gravity. With that
you'd shoot water down one side and fall out the

(04:44):
other side. This thing is suction powered and squirting water
up there and it really cleans out the nasal cavity.
She won't do it, and it would help you so much.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
No, I have a weird thing with putting stuff up
my nose, especially liquid.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
I I can't go underwater without plugging my nose.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Okay, really, yeah, you have to plug your nose.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah, unless I'm wearing like some big goggles that cover
the nose. Well, if I'm going underwater, I need to
plug my.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Nose, right.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
I will try my best. If we're in a public
setting and it's like a party or something and I
have to go under, I will try my bed.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Does that people tell you you have to go under
the water if you want to have a hot dog
from the grill.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
You've got to go under the water, a little lady.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Your nose.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Often I've found myself in that scenario.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
You just trying to look cool in front of somebody.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
So I'll blow as I'm going on it. As soon
as I get under, I'll plug and then come back up.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I used to when I was learning. I used to
just keep blowing right, yeah, right, And.

Speaker 9 (05:44):
Then I'd always come out of the water with like
Bookers on my face. Oh no, because you'll just continue
to blow out of your nose the water too. I
thought the whole time, you're supposed to be blown out
of your nose, and realize you're supposed to stop.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
The air track.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
You guys have no problem going under and not breathing
out and being fine underwater.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I never thought about it. I've never thought about it.
I'm a fish.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
I wish I could.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I like, people call me Jason Momoa.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Thinking about a netty pot or your suction thing. Yeah,
it creeps me out.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Yeah, no, I know it does because we also one
time tried to use Brian's nose sucker on you. Yeah,
got a lot of issues up there, and he uses
on the kids. And you wouldn't let us do that.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
No, with all you guys are using your mouth to suck,
and I just don't want that.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
We weren't doing that though. It was a contraption, you know,
it's not you.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Had to suck on the other side of this.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
True, that is true. How do you think we still
gas from a car?

Speaker 1 (06:37):
You know?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
It's one o four to three my family. It is
Valentine in the morning. How are you guys? Friday? You're
ready for the weekend? Warm out there. It's cool down
a little bit, but the temperatures, you know, we were
headed towards summer obviously. Next Valentine in the morning at three,
one oh four three, All right, it's Friday morning, come on,
let's go. You got happiness today. We're gonna do that
after seven o'clock. Reach out three one oh four three, three,
one oh four three. If you any happy news. I

(07:02):
don't think anybody heard it, so we just move on
Brian's stomach. It's been crazy this week. My god, dude,
so loud. It's like a baby wolverine is in his
tummy trying to get out. It's like alien versus predator
and it's coming out of its little thing. It's been bad.
Are you okay? I think maybe, I just I.

Speaker 7 (07:22):
Don't know if this is possible, but I made a
lot of bad decisions last week, and it's like still
catching up with me.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Oh my god, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's
not really I'm sorry to hear that. Stomach. I don't
think that's a real word. It is like I tried
looking it up one time. I couldn't find it. Even
that's a problem too. You don't how to spell that well. Anyway,
My start gets loud, and I thought the showed to
the grinding halt and you do it a lot though
that a lot of people have noticed the noises from

(07:52):
your stomach on the air. Good morning, Valentine in the morning.
It's almost a weekend hanging there, guys, right four threem
it's Valentine in the morning. Jen, how are you I'm good.

Speaker 10 (08:06):
How are you.

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I'm doing pretty good, doing pretty good. We got your text.
I cannot believe this. I have to read your text
on the air. Oh my god, I was about to
text you because Valentine introduced himself on the air and
said that he had a seventeen year old son, and
I couldn't believe how old Colin has gotten. When I
opened my text messages to send you, guys, something I

(08:26):
saw The last time I sent a text was basically
the same sentiment, but his son was fourteen. Time flies
three years ago you texted us, then you had the
same feeling. Open up your phone to text us again
and it was the same sentiment, but three years later.

Speaker 10 (08:43):
I'm so sorry I didn't call you in.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
I know, I know, for three years you haven't texted
or called. That's so crazy. I listened to that it
does count, but you know, text wise, it'spanned three years
since I got your text. Wondering what she's gone a
rid next. Have you been doing well? I'm doing well.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 8 (09:07):
How are you guys?

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I'm doing fine, doing fine?

Speaker 8 (09:10):
Yeah, doing okay.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Jill's looking to have a baby, yes hopefully.

Speaker 6 (09:14):
Oh, I'm so excited for you.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Thank you, Jen, She'll text you when the baby's born,
then five years later when you see the baby's five.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
Sugar, I'll have to alternate between the two of.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
You, right right, Jen? You got kids yourself.

Speaker 11 (09:29):
I do.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
I have a sixteen year old and almost on Saturday,
fourteen year old boys.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Wow. Well listen, we just wanted to say thank you
for that text. I was very nice to you. I
appreciate that.

Speaker 9 (09:40):
Yeah, no problem, Thanks for having you guys.

Speaker 6 (09:42):
Do I love listening to you.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
You gotta love, Take care, goodbye?

Speaker 6 (09:45):
Say hey, will you put me on the Christmas card list?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Yeah? Hey, Ty, we'll get you. Say out one second,
hang on Christmas card list online.

Speaker 8 (09:51):
Five?

Speaker 2 (09:51):
Please re new to our show the Christmas Card List.
We do Christmas cards the end of the year with
all our faces on him. Stuff like that. People calling
throughout the year to get on the Christmas card lea
one O, four to three. My SM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Sverenna carpenter'sd an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, and a
lot of it didn't make the article, so they published
a bunch of stuff from their interview with her that
didn't make it. One of those things was that before
every show, Sarna Carpenter is plunging in a backsage bathroom
doing a cold plunge in her portable ice bath minutes

(10:27):
before she goes on stage. She said, do you want
to picture something really silly? It's me in full glam
and stage curls and I don't put my head in
so it's just from the neck up. So that's what
I would do, because, as we just talked about, I
don't go underwater without plugging my nose. And if you
or your kids are fans of K pop, BTS is
long away to comeback has reportedly been set for March

(10:49):
of next year. The guys are finishing out their mandatory
South Korean military service and the Korea Harold has a
statement from someone at BTS's record label saying the BTS
comeback date is set for March next year. I'm Jill
with their Innerittiven headlines on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (11:07):

Rocket just one big the other night at the cann
Lines Festival. Congratulations Yeah waitio Rocket.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
Best to John Peter and the whole team at Rocket.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
I have Rocket money, and I know Rocket Mortgage and
Rocket are doing great things out there. They're helping more
and more Americans get their first or next home, which
is so tough in today's economy, right, but Rockets putting
their money where the mouth is and they're helping people
find ways to get into a home, to have that
joy of home ownership. And it's not about buying a house.
I never thought it was. It's not just about having

(11:54):
a house like oh I wanted my house one of
my house. House is a house. Home is a home,
a home of something entirely different. So Jonathan, great job
helping people out. We're on to be part of that
team here at iHeart as well. And again, if you've
got somebody that you want to give a shout out to,
please do reach out three one O four three three
one oh four three. Lacancy one of four three My fam,

(12:20):
it is Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
So you know how they always release lists of the
most popular baby names for the year before they.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Release No, I don't did they do that?

Speaker 3 (12:31):
We always talk about we do.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
I'm sorry, but the Social Security Administration went a little
deeper and released some of the most unusual names from
last year. But these names were given to more than
five babies in the US. So they're saying, okay, super unusual,
but it is happening quite a few times.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Can they be doing that?

Speaker 4 (12:52):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
So Security people, and that's supposed to be private, that
information give it out baby.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
Names, well not last names, but the last.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Four digits of their social dude.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
But I thought these were very interesting. See if you
would ever name your child one of these names.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Okay, we will simply say yes or no when we
hear this boy or girls.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
This is for girls. I'm gonna start with girls first.
Here we go, all right, my love, all one word,
my love, my love.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
My love. No, definitely not palace, palace like the Grand Palace,
the palace we live in. Palace palace.

Speaker 4 (13:28):
No dairy day kmuci. That's a good ring to it.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Chai, I like that one.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
It's not bad. And then adelviss A vis the sound
of music. It's a flower plant.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
That one I don't hate. I don't hate adal Vice.
The other ones I do hate, but Itvie.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Hey, it's for boys, Okay. Started off strong with Irish Irish.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Yeah, I can see myself doing that. Horizon Horizon, Event
Horizon is a good movie. Horizon Horizon, Get out of
Bed Horizon. You're never Matrix, Matrix, No stupid. These are
much worse than the girls. Yeah, these are bad. Lancelot

(14:24):
Lancelot rocks Ruckus Rus What if Ruckus is the most
polite kid in the entire world, you know, super sweet,
really into books and stuff like that. No problems, Hi,
my name is Ruckus.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
What Lancelot Lancelot, Grim, Oh what a bummer? Graham A
little bit.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Grim is not similar to Graham.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
If you had to pick a name.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
I don't think it is.

Speaker 9 (14:50):
I don't think I do, but I feel like I do,
you know, like it feels like a name that isn't
that on that Grim.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yeah, like Graham is just a name. Grim is somebody
these behavior, It's way worse. Grim is not like Graham
McDonald's guy.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
Grim is yeah, the last one Dragon Dragon.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, that's cool. Those are horrible. Remember when we.

Speaker 9 (15:16):
Talked about how like there are some names that have
a terrible connotation, but like would sound beautiful as a
name if you could disassociate like chlamydia objectively a beautiful name,
but because.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Of what you associated with, obviously would never happen.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah, you're right, I don't associate it with that, John,
because I didn't have those college years.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
So what would you associate chlamydia with?

Speaker 8 (15:39):
Then?

Speaker 2 (15:40):
A queen of Egypt? Okay, I'm in denial. We have
something else besides that. That was a good example, though I.

Speaker 9 (15:48):
Forgot what else we said. Yeah, like some diseases. I
feel like that sounds.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Right. I really like the sound of that disease, you know.

Speaker 9 (15:57):
Like leukemia, Fell's that's not a bad name.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Felony, and then like as a rapper, what's your name? Misdemeanor?
Oh yeah, that's kind of already taken it, miss Elliott?
All right, Sorry, I apologize, follow accept it, loser. Sorry. Yeah,
have you guys noticed that we're in summer mode totally? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (16:22):
Yeah, like maybe we should get another show to sub
in for a few months.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Just like it's not that we're phoning it in, We're
just not putting things through a filter. It seems like
we should.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Yeah, it's weird. It's so strange.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
No, I mean, I'm sharp, I'm here, I'm on point.
People are saying that, they're saying the rest of you
guys got to step up to my prowess.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
No apology accept it, not necessary. I get you're going
through a lot of stuff. Not really, Well, then what's
the problem Herem's coming, baby. It's not a summertime body anymore.
It's a summertime DJ a four threem. It's Valentine in
the morning. We have new music Friday. We have new
music from Benson.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Boone, brand new album just dropped today.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
We might just talk about Benson Boone. There's so much
gold in here.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
You hear it a couple of days ago.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
Yeah, you have a few minutes to decide.

Speaker 9 (17:17):
Yeah, he's a game time guy, remember the game time guy.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
He doesn't know it's like John, what's happening in new
music Friday? Bets Boon Benson Boone's album, and then he
just goes into it.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
You know.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Yeah, but you seem like you script everything out.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Well.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
I have the bullet points that I want to make
sure that I hit for sure.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Interesting. Wow, But I have that that's a bit of
an affront to you. I noticed there they snuck right in.
It seems like you script everything out like this isn't
coming off the top of his rolling.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Stone as song with that, I'm still the one that
scripted it, did you?

Speaker 2 (17:47):
But I mean, do you script like ten different things?
Like you have one for whoever? Like you just take
your little finger and flip it mid report to somebody else. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (17:58):
I have them all on a word doc and then
right before we go on the air, I just like
highlight three of them.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Those line folded you. I could probably do it still,
Oh fun prank. Let's try that, baby, right, John Pete
just walking in John talk about new Music Friday, John
Peak talking about new Music Friday and having Camucci do
it for memory because he has a lot of information
in there and stuff like that in blindfolding him. Do

(18:24):
you think he could pull it off? Absolutely? One hundred
percent sure of it? Hey, Yeah, challenge accept the coming
on next on Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (18:32):
One four to three, my smo. The conversation Valentine in
the Morning on Facebook.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
All Right, the weather today sunny, slightly cooler, tempts seventies
to low eighties for the weekend Plenty of Sun, Heisman
seventies to low eighties, sixty three in San Gabriel, sixty
four in Orange, Jill's Got the Entertiment headlines Coming up.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
Netflix is going to remake another classic TV series, this
time from the seventies. I'll tell you which one it is.
I'll tell you which one it is now six point fifty.
That's what I meant to say. I've didn't good up
to this point.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
So sometimes there's no saving it, right, Like usually we
jump in to save each other.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
But yeah, you guys had no idea what I was
trying to say.

Speaker 8 (19:18):
It works.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
I don't think you had any idea what you're trying
to say I did. I think my my favorite line
from that moment was of my own and I the
hot take of myself, sorry hot take on myself. My
favorite line of that whole back and forth was simply,
sums uff really well. But now how the tables have turned?

(19:40):
Have the tables turned turned? The tables? The table? The
turning of the tables ltus you first sip, then we
jump into John's new music Friday, Think It Today about
my past in particular, and this may work for you
as well. And there were radio stations that over the

(20:03):
years told me, nah, man, sorry, you're not good enough.
You're not gonna make it. When I was working down
the hall doing afternoons a KISSFM, it's a radio station,
WPLJ in New York was interested in me for doing afternoons.
It's not a big radio station. I never worked in
New York City, so it had a little bit of
a lure to say, Hey, I'd worked in Los Angeles
and New York and WPLJ came calling and one of

(20:25):
the gentlemen who worked there wanted to hire me. But
then he asked the guy that worked with him, Scott
Shannon was the name of the time, what do you thought.
And Scott said, nah, I don't think you're ready for
New York. You're not there. I was doing afternoons in
Los Angeles, California to radio. I was pretty good, so
I thought it what I did, but he said no.
Before that, there was a station on the West coast

(20:47):
here before I even got out to LA sent them
my stuff. They're like, yeah, I just don't think you're
cut out for something like this, and they said no
station in Chicago had sent them a copy of my
tape many many years ago. The guy said, NB, I
don't think you're gonna work in the Windy City. They said, no.
I got so many knows throughout my life, so many

(21:09):
knows on my little path to where I am, and
I think the path for all of us is what
the path will be, and it's going to be the
right path. Things tend to unfold in life for the
right reasons. Now, they may not seem like the right
reasons at the time, and they may present more struggles
and roadblocks in front of us. But I still think
if you persist, if you keep putting one foot in

(21:31):
front of the other, things are going to work out
the way they're intended to work out for you, in
the most hopefully positive way. If somebody says no, it's
their opinion, it's not yours. It doesn't mean that you're
not an amazing morning man in Los Angeles, California, Well

(21:55):
you can throw that little part to the side and
just take the good stuff. For my little first sip here,
Jill count.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Us up one, two, three New music Friday coming up, Nags.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
It is one of four three my fam my fam
It is Valentine in the Morning, Jockie, what you standing
by the new music Friday?

Speaker 9 (22:17):
All right, Benson Boone, guys, he just dropped his sophomore album.
Really excited to play with some of these songs. He's
got ten of them in here, and all of them
showcases voice like crazy. So when you hit play on
that album, one of the first songs y'all come across
that you hadn't heard before that hasn't been released is
this song he wrote for his dad called Mystery Electric.

Speaker 8 (22:33):
Blue Givery thing you.

Speaker 12 (22:39):
Aread mister les, I want the dague?

Speaker 8 (22:50):
How did you guess you got left?

Speaker 2 (23:12):
So this one he wrote.

Speaker 9 (23:13):
To reflect his bond with his dad, and it kind
of sounds like dad rock to me, right, a little
bit of that eighties five to a little bit and
his dad and some of the music videos, like you
see this clip of his dad doing a backflip off
a rock into a lake. So that's kind of where
Benson Boone gets that from. And he has this great
relationship with his parents. He's gotten a song on his album.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
About his mom.

Speaker 9 (23:31):
I'm sure his dad got jealous, So now he's got
one about his dad too. And this whole album is
just a bunch of the different things that surround Benson
Boone that he loves, like his personal relationships, his family
and all that kind of stuff. So this one is
the one he wrote for his dad.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
It has been wondering, like if my kid wrote a
song for me, what would be like? What it would
sound like?

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (23:51):
Right, like that lyrics to parent my dad that lyric
had just said. He said, boy, watch the way talking
to me. If you want to keep your two front
teeth or something like that.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
You know that's nice, sounds up. Yes, watch the way
you're talking to me if you want to keep you
two front teeth. Mister Alexric Glue was gonna be you.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Dad commons in there and stuff, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (24:16):
Victor Sweeks both ways done hitching.

Speaker 9 (24:20):
So a lot of this album is very upbeat, like this,
like it's there's not a lot of slow songs in there.
In terms of ballads. You maybe have too. There's the
one he wrote for his mom, who came out without
a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
And then the only other.

Speaker 9 (24:29):
One is this song that he wrote about his hometown.
It's called take Me Home from Me.

Speaker 13 (24:34):
Right Oh in Road. It's been over. These streets are overgrown.
I'm glad to see your eyes and change it all.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
They always look too little.

Speaker 8 (24:50):
Green in the fall. Kisch me kiss me Slowly.

Speaker 9 (24:59):
Like, so this is about a slows you're going to
get on this album, and it's about his hometown nostalgia.
He grew up in this town just outside Seattle called Monroe, Washington,
and he was there for most of his life until
he went to college in Utah for a little bit,
and I think he's in Utah now. But his hometown
like really had so much inspiration for him and it
helped him develop who he is, you know. So that's

(25:21):
another one of these reasons that like this album is
just everything that surrounds him and made him who he is.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
He's got his friends, his family.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Not really heartbreak much on this album, to be honest.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
And I think that's kind of true to who he is.

Speaker 9 (25:32):
He's in a great relationship right now, Like he doesn't
really feel a lot of those heartbreak feelings, and so
that you won't really find much of it on the album.
This is one of the slower ones about his hometown
and that nostalgia.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Thinking about home and.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
Your first crushes and stuff it's called take Me Home.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Oh shoot, wasn't he supposed to do this with Zeistas? Yeah?
The last one? All right, last one.

Speaker 9 (25:56):
Says so speaking of ballots, this is the second to
last song on the album You Got One More. And
I feel like he did that on purpose to put
this one right there because this one walks, so the
next song can sprint. It's a power song at the end,
one called young American Heart kid heard what So a

(26:37):
lot of people don't know this. Benson Boone was in
a car accident when he was young. I think he
was fifteen or sixteen with one of his best friends
that he grew up with, and he said that was
the first time he really thought about death in that way,
because when you're fifteen or sixteen, like, when are you
ever thinking, oh, like I could die right now, you
know what I mean, Like you don't really think that
as a kid growing up. So he was in this
car with his friend and in this accident, like it

(26:57):
rolled and it was like upside down. It was kind
of pretty tends to be honest, and he said that
was the first time he thought, Wow, this could really
be it for a second, and then it had him
thinking about his life, and he was like, I should
probably be living my dream to the fullest extent.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Like me and my friends.

Speaker 9 (27:11):
The only thing that's really important are those that surround
me and the things that you love and doing all
the things that you love with the people that you love.
And so he said that was the inspiration song for
this entire album, Young American Heart, and that's what you
kind of see throughout it. His hometown, his parents, his friends,
his relationship. It is everything about Benson Boone that's made
him who he is. He's just given back to everybody.

(27:32):
This album is a love letter to the things that
made Benson Boone who he is.

Speaker 8 (27:44):
I'm gonna die.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
I guess they're doing backflips after a car accident when
I give him that Sea seven a bit of a rest.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
So you'll hear one of these like anthemic songs throughout it.

Speaker 9 (28:01):
This is American Heart from Benson Boom.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
Well, we can stream it on the free iHeart Radio app.

Speaker 2 (28:08):

this reboot and the bear star Jeremy Allan White. He's
playing Bruce Springsteen in the new biopic Delivered Me from Nowhere,
and Bruce Springsteen did an interview with Rolling Stone talking
about all of the set visits that he did while
they were filming, and he said Jeremy Alan White was

(29:15):
wonderfully tolerant of his set visits. He said, I'm sure
it's much worse for the actor than for me. Jeremy
Allen White was very, very tolerant of me the days
that I would appear on the set, and he said
he would sometimes leave when it came to the really
personal scenes, but he says the days that I got
out there, he was wonderfully tolerant. I love that he
kept saying, wonderfully tolerant. I'm Jill with Aaron Timan headlines.

Speaker 11 (33:02):
What?

Speaker 2 (33:04):
Oh my God, that movie is a national treasure. It
really is. It's a great movie. My gosh, start to finish.
The historical accuracy is someone in question a lot of times.
But it's really really good. Back of the Declaration of
the Independence. I didn't see it. No, that's crazy, because
I have a copy. All right. Current score is guys

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Coming up.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Three Things they need to Know. One of the biggest
insurance companies in the country announce this morning they've been
hit by a cyber attack. So of course they'll probably
raise your rates. That's always their answer. We'll tell you
if that's your insurance company. Coming up.

Speaker 4 (35:15):
Three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Part seven nineteen. It's Valentine in the morning. This is
one of four three MIFM. The insurance company Aflack at
Flack announced this morning that cyber criminals have hacked into
their system, potentially stealing social security numbers and health information.
Insurance companies have been the target of a series of
cyber attacks recently, but with fifty million customers, affleck is
the biggest victim yet. And of course if you're you know,

(35:40):
an AFLEC custumer, and you'll get a little letter in
the mail that goes, oh, so sorry, we got hacked.
Here's a year's supply of experience or something, or or
just go check your documents. Got just something about that.
You know, if I'm a criminal and I stole something
from AFLAC and I know that Affles can give people
like a year of credit monitoring, I'm just gonna put

(36:01):
in my Outlook calendar one year in a day, right,
wouldn't you do that? I see what you mean, because
that's all they ever do. They give you like one
year of experience a TransUnion or some type of thing,
and then you know, then that's it. Year in a day.
Then we're coming for your stuff. Dodgers owner Mark Walter

(36:21):
is purchasing a majority ownership to the Lakers from the
Bus family. Holy cow, this is a wild deal. The
deal's worth ten billion, making the largest sale of a
sports franchise in US history. The Lakers have been owned
and operated by the Bus family since nineteen seventy nine.
They won eleven championships during that time. All right, John
was training your music?

Speaker 9 (36:37):
Well, that is a new music Friday. One of the
tracks we're following is a new song from Ed Sheeron.
It dropped off the New F one movie soundtrack. It's
a song called Drive.

Speaker 8 (36:47):
Sime.

Speaker 9 (36:52):
The song's not only features Ed Cheron singing, it's a
massive clap on the guitars, John Mayer on the drums,
Dave Growl, massive clap off that soundtrack of the New
F one movie.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
I cannot wait for it to come out in its entirety.
I'm John Kamuchi. That's today's trending music.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
It's so rocky.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
I know you're not just hearing it like this.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
No, that was got up in flames.

Speaker 8 (37:17):
The next part.

Speaker 5 (37:18):
It's shared in your face.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
Got happy news coming up? You want to reach out?
It's three one oh four three.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
This says I've been super sick all week and woke
up this morning not a zombie. I will take the
little win.

Speaker 16 (37:39):
Have be Friday, everyone, because I give you fe like room.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Its con now.

Speaker 16 (37:49):
Miss your happy news. It's eight six six five four four.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
All right, Jill, what's your happy news today?

Speaker 4 (37:57):
Okay, So I don't know if this happened yesterday or
it's happening today. But the eggs are officially defrosting. They
took them out.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Yeah, so you guts you're ready to do it. Well,
you didn't tell us that.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
No, I'm telling you now for the first time.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
This is we'll hold on. If don't understand the process
of y VF and stuff and kids in the back
of the car, this would be fun questions for mom
and dad later. But once those eggs are out, then
we have the process where Jeff goes and does his
thing right right.

Speaker 4 (38:25):
And then it takes a little bit of time. What
I understand.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
How long do the eggs come out before they get used?

Speaker 4 (38:31):
I don't know. All I know is I.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Feel like they turnarounds fast.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
It is fast for yeah, right with my husband. We
are just waiting to see when that day is. I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Okay, So hypothetically this could happen soon, Well it could.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
Hypothetically, it's going to take a couple of weeks with
testing and everything to make sure that that they.

Speaker 2 (38:48):
They're not going to put them back in to take
them out. They're out right out, They're out. So this
process is going I don't know. If you do this
with your hands.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
Yeah, I'm so excited, so excited.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
That's amazing. So the eggs are coming out today.

Speaker 4 (39:02):
Either today or yesterday, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
It could be out right now.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
Got the email yesterday morning asking how many we wanted,
and I said, do them all. Let's do them all.
I don't have very many to speak in with that.
That is one of the problems. I don't have many,
but all it takes is one. So we were going
to do them all.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Wow, it's great. This is so exciting. What's your face?
Your may face? No, I feel like I have questions
from my mom later, But I don't.

Speaker 8 (39:27):
Mom.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
I understand birds and.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
The bees.

Speaker 4 (39:32):
And I going through in vitro fertilization, and we are
one step closer.

Speaker 2 (39:36):
I know this is great news for you. When I'm
very it's just that I think Brian's thinking, like, all right,
I've got some kids and they're gonna be like, does
she sit on an egg? What happens here? This is yeah? John?
Come on, all right, well, congratulations, keep up to date, okay,
I will, all right, thank you, John. What's your happy news?

Speaker 9 (39:55):
My new apartment does not have a c and now
that it's getting hot, hot, hot, we just got a
portable ac Oh a great nice slept in like seventy
degrees last night.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
It was amazing. Where do you invented through a window
or something? Yeah, we put it out a window. And
those are solid, dude, the game changer, Yeah, those are
really solid. Right, what's your happed news?

Speaker 7 (40:11):
My best friendly d is how City for his brother
in law and we're gonna go over for a.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
Pool party tomorrow. Nice but it's exciting and steals baby news.
But yeah, all right, all I'm going to the dermatologist
with my mom today.

Speaker 7 (40:25):
Yeah, man, Okay, that's that's it.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
But I need a ride, oh dear, So I still
gonna find a ride, and I guess she's in Ventura County,
so they do have a service out there, but sometimes
they're booked up. You can pay hundreds of dollars to
like do services that will transport somebody a wheelchair to
a doctor or Interre County does it, like for four bucks.
So I'm trying to get on that one so I
don't have to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for
a five hour minimum. We're sitting silly and when I'm

(40:52):
just going to do a doctor's appointment five miles down
the street, but I can't transfer her because she's in
a wheelchair into my car. Just doesn't work. So I
have to get somebody who's wheelchair accessible. Okay, So that's
the frustrating part, you know, somebody who can't easily get
out of a wheelchair. And the memory care center she's
staying at right now, they don't do drop off on
Friday for whatever reason. So I'm gonna bind about that.

(41:12):
But if it works getting mom to the doctor, yep.
Excited about that, right seven twenty seven, what is your happiness?

Speaker 14 (41:18):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four
to three.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
Seven thirty three. The weather Today's sunny, slightly cooler, temp
seventies to low eighties for the weekend, plenty of suns seventies,
low eighties, sixty four in Erwindale sixty five and Carson
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.

cameo on the final season, but it didn't happen. I'll

Are they concerned with everything going on? Have you talked
about that stuff?

Speaker 10 (42:31):
Of course? Yeah? I mean luckily we're we're okay. It's
just a matter of carrying documentation with us. But yeah,
everything's good.

Speaker 2 (42:42):
God, that's nuts really when you think about that, just
that phrase you said right there, carrying documentation with you.
You know, well, listen to have be very careful and
take care yourself and say hi to your family first. Okay,
we will.

Speaker 10 (42:55):

work out. They told The Entertainment Weekly they wanted Hillary
Swank to be a part of the last season. She
played Julie Pearce in the nineteen ninety four film The
Next Karate Kid. They wanted her to be in season six.

(49:22):
They said. They reached out in the very early days
before the season even started to see if there was
a path for her to appear. But Hillary Swank recently
welcomed her twins. She was in production on other projects,

for dinner last night. Yeah, so good.

Speaker 4 (52:08):

we could talk about this on the show. So I'll
read your exact message. So, the guy I'm dating eats
like a child. He's in his mid thirties and he
refuses to eat any fruits or vegetables. He has Lucky
Charms for breakfast and frozen pizza or chicken nuggets for
lunch and dinner. Every day when we are out to dinner,

(52:29):
he orders off the kids menu. I think it's embarrassing,
but am I making a big deal out of nothing?
So I told her we talk about it.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
Well, he probably won't be around for long, so it
wouldn't work too much based on that diet. It is

we'll be experiencing some June gloom with low clouds and
cooler temps. Experts say there's a chance of strong winds
near mountain areas, with wind gus up to sixty miles
an hour. That means the possibility of down trees and
power outages. But here we should be kind of okay

(58:26):
with the heat. To me a little cooler, just wash
out for the windiness near the mountains. The company WEIMO
is about to bring your self driving taxes to even
more cities in southern California. I haven't had the courage
to do it yet. I know Jill is a big
fan of the weymo.

Speaker 4 (58:38):
Oh, it was so nice. You use it up in
San Francisco and it.

Speaker 2 (58:41):
Was great, she said with weymo, I go yes. So
until now they've been operating the area from Santa Monica
to downtown LA but I said this week that will
expand to include Englewood West, Hollywood, Echo Park, Plia del Rey,

says her guy that she's dating in his mid thirties
refuses to eat any fruits or vegetables. She thinks it's
an embarrassing but she wants to know if she's making
a big deal out of nothing, so we want to know.
Have you ever dated someone that eats like a child.
This text says, hey, hey, hey, I'm allergic to all
fresh fruit and raw veggies, but I do eat some

(01:01:11):
cooked vegetables. And then Kimberly said, my boyfriend eats nothing
but chips and meat, no vegetables, John.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
Are you allergic to any veggies? I'm allergic to fruit, right,

but you love your celery? Yeah? Really, I think it's delicious.
Dipping in some ranch, dude, Well then you love ranch.
I don't love ranch. With other stuff. You don't some things,
but not everything I don't like. I mean, celery seems
just normal to me, like nothing going on.

Speaker 7 (01:01:46):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
I eat a piece of celery, I'm like, eh, nothing there,
I have to put something on. Oh, then you're getting
bad celery, really celery, tasty celery. You know.

Speaker 9 (01:01:54):
Sometimes you go get wings sometimes and they'll bring you
the celery, and yeah, some of them just taste like water,
kind of like cucumbers.

Speaker 3 (01:01:59):
But some of them, dude, there's so much of that
flavor in there.

Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Yeah, because they've been dipped in the wing sauce or something.
I don't know. All right, Raschel, good morning. How are you?

Speaker 15 (01:02:10):
Good morning, Valentine. I'm great. How are you, guys?

Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
We're doing good. Have you ever dated somebody that eats
like a child?

Speaker 15 (01:02:17):
I did a long long time ago. I want to say,

Speaker 15 (01:02:24):
He only ate protein bars and diet coke.

Speaker 8 (01:02:29):
No, I don't think.

Speaker 2 (01:02:30):
Many children eat protein bars and die of coke. I
hope not anyway.

Speaker 15 (01:02:34):
But so men, when we went to a restaurants, it
was chicken nuggets and fries.

Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
Okay, there's John, he's a guy like that.

Speaker 9 (01:02:42):
That shouldn't be a kid's meal. I don't know why
the stereotype is that that's a kid's meal. We forgive fries
and pizza.

Speaker 2 (01:02:47):
Not really. I mean, I don't think.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
That it's okay.

Speaker 15 (01:02:51):
It's okay, Yeah, it's okay sometimes, But when it's every
time we went out to a restaurant, I don't.

Speaker 6 (01:02:57):
Yeah, that sucked.

Speaker 2 (01:02:59):
Yeah, well you really sum that up faster. I thought
this is gonna be more to that story. We went
out to a restaurant that sucks.

Speaker 15 (01:03:08):
I had to eat sushi by myself, Like.

Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
I went, oh, oh, god, sushi restaurant. The guy's asking
for chicken tendies. That's not good though.

Speaker 15 (01:03:15):
Well no, he didn't go with me because obviously they
don't serve that.

Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
Yeah, oh all right, well, John, you'd still go to
the Libby even if they didn't serve chicken tenders, right,
what do you mean, Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:03:24):
God, Valentine in the morning.

My boyfriend. He will not eat any kind of vegetables.
I don't care what it is. He will not eat vegetables.
All he'll ever eat is meat, meat, meat with rice,
chip and hot sauce. That's all.

Speaker 4 (01:04:20):
That's all his sellach has to be a mess.

Speaker 6 (01:04:24):
I'm telling you. If he doesn't like to, I think
it's the texture of the vegetables. I think that he
doesn't like.

Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
It's not even into like potatoes or something.

Speaker 6 (01:04:31):
You don't like potatoes. I think the only thing I've
seen he beat that's non meat would be like a
let us trap on a burger. But that's it let
Us burger, okay. But everything else is like chips, meat beans,
everything has to have hot sauce on it. So I've
been with him like fifteen years and he's never had
eaten any vegetables in front of me.

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
You've been with the guy for fifteen years, yep, and
he's just your boyfriend. Yeah, you guys don't want to
get married. That's not a bad question, just as it's
not for everybody. But I mean, I didn't want to
feel like I'm like, oh, you have to do that.

Speaker 6 (01:05:02):
We don't. It's like a personal decision. I think it's
more of the independent.

Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
I get that because if.

Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
Whatever happens and we're down the road, there won't be
any obligation. I can go, he can go. That's why
we kind of don't want to get into that sort
of Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
I mean you're you're kind of into it. You're fifteen
years in. You've you've got something called Kama law happening.

Speaker 8 (01:05:19):
Now.

Speaker 6 (01:05:20):
It's and then he makes fun of me because I
eat fish and meat and vegetables, and when I eat
the fish, he walks, he walks into the other room
because he can't stand the smell.

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
I don't think he's actually Captain Roses himself all the
means you've been talking about there.

Speaker 6 (01:05:36):
But he's a very good provider. It's just that he's
eating habits or little I think that's just how he is.

Speaker 2 (01:05:42):
Yeah, okay, I think it's.

Speaker 6 (01:05:43):
Just the texture of the vegetables that he doesn't like.
But and you like a lot of like Captain crunch.

Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
That's okay. I don't think that's a vegetable that's not working.

Speaker 6 (01:05:55):
Now, thanks so much. I watch you, guys, I listen
to you guys every morning and then also on the
I Heart app, I also listened to you guys too,
and oh thank you and all those little snippets that
you post on social media of Jill dancing like crazy
and Brian following along and.

Speaker 2 (01:06:12):
Yeah, they are cute little snippets our day. Amen. Well,
thank you, Kimberly. We appreciate you Colling and you have
a great day.

Speaker 6 (01:06:18):
Okay, thanks so much about.

Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
Hey, Julie, good morning. Who's the childish eater in your life?

Speaker 10 (01:06:27):
My life partner a sixty five year old man that
eats nothing, nothing at all.

Speaker 6 (01:06:34):
Well, I mean it's like macaroni and cheese, chicken nuggets,
plain hot dogs, Plaine hamburgers, no fundaments.

Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
We go to all.

Speaker 8 (01:06:49):
It is.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
No vegetables or anything like that, a can of corn. Nothing.
I caught him one day eating a can of corn
in the backyard. Does he seem healthy? Like? Is he
able to have some energy through the day?

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:07:02):
How how does how's are how is it just corn?
How are his energy levels?

Speaker 12 (01:07:07):
He's fine?

Speaker 4 (01:07:08):
I mean he does sus how he has survived all
of his life?

Speaker 10 (01:07:11):
Yeah, see sixty.

Speaker 2 (01:07:13):
Fives on bar time though, no fruit, no veg not.

Speaker 15 (01:07:17):
Really all right, all right, I mean it's a potato,
a vegetable French fries.

Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Well, potato is a vegetable, that's legit. The French, though,
are vegetables. Yeah. You start to start to lose a
little bit there in the old deep friar. Yeah. ALRIGHTA
what are you gonna do? What's wrong, jill?

Speaker 8 (01:07:40):
Alright?

Speaker 4 (01:07:41):
In the little frozen fries?

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
Just a phrase, I said, the kings queens on the
door with tops al one of four to three, my fam,
it's Valentine the morning. ALRIGHTA I did it. I'm purpose.
I knew what I was doing. Oh my god, it's
just lightning win all right. I love those fries. You

(01:08:06):
get those fries, I've had them before. You got to
write it? Yeah, how'd you like them?

Speaker 8 (01:08:09):
They're good?

Speaker 4 (01:08:10):
Yeah, they were good.

Speaker 2 (01:08:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:08:13):
Yeah, I just love any fry.

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
Do you really do you like onion rings? You don't like?

Speaker 4 (01:08:18):
You can't have because of the gluten, certain fries. But
if they're you know, I was going to go into
this long thing.

Speaker 2 (01:08:26):
Alexa. Do you like the Alexa fries?

Speaker 4 (01:08:29):
Alexa?

Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
F you don't know, those are a little higher end Alexa.
It seems like a thing Rita does make a very
good crispy cut fry and then a extra crispy krinkle uh.
And then they also do some really good tater tots.
You know, I like their tater tots, but Alexa has
more shoe string type fries, and they'll do onion rings

(01:08:50):
as well. But I've never seen them do a tater tot.

Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
You know, I tried.

Speaker 7 (01:08:56):
You know, this is why we got in big trouble
before I was old and did John peaks off? Yes,
because you said, what do you prefer tater tots or fries?
And he played it back for us and was like,
do you think that this is acceptable? Do you think
that this is entertaining?

Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:09:10):
One hundred percent? I will. I will stand on the
pedestal of Radio Mountain and I will say that you
listening right now, you have a preference between tater tots
and fries. Percent you have a preference guarantee. Started throwing
on waffle fries and it's things are off the rails.
You'll have to stop yourself. She was like, I don't
want to get into this whole long thing. And I

(01:09:31):
was like, all right, I will.

Speaker 14 (01:09:34):
One four three f there's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (01:09:39):
Squid Game maybe coming to an end after this third season,
but spinoffs are possible. I'll tell you what the creator
said right after Traffic one.

Speaker 14 (01:09:47):
O four to three my sm entertainment headlines, squid Game
may be coming to an end after this third season,
but spinoffs are possible.

Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
Season three will premiere a week from today on nutf
and the creator of squid Game told People magazine there's
a possibility for a spinoff. He didn't give any additional
details for when and how it happens, but he says
there is a chance. And do you remember balloon Boy.
It was back in two thousand and nine and a
six year old boy named Falcon had floated away in

(01:10:18):
a homemade helium balloon. It was a twenty foot object
that drifted around thousands of feet in the air for
nearly two hours. The story made headlines, it turned into
a full blown national emergency, and even his parents went
to jail. Well after sixteen years, the family is speaking
out for the first time in an upcoming Netflix documentary

(01:10:38):
and it's called train Wreck balloon Boy, and it's going
to premiere on Netflix on.

Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
Joly fifth Eve.

Speaker 4 (01:10:45):
I'm Jill with the entertainment headline, what's hey, you guys
signed a lot, which made me gigg We did n't
know what we did, dude, balloon boy.

Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
Well you said the family was speaking out of balloom Boy.

Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
I went, that's funny, that's good.

Speaker 2 (01:11:02):
And did he not even go up? He wasn't in
the balloon at all? That was the story in the balloon.
It was like a no, it was a prank. Damn,
I was a scam. Yeah, there was no boy in
the balloon.

Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
No wonder because everybody's saying it was a hoax. But
I don't remember this at all. No, I know what hoax,
but I don't know what about this story was a hoax.

Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
Because he never was up in the balloon. He was
sitting in his house playing video games or something. I
don't know. Oh, like then the parents do it as
a scam or something like that, trying to get like
some stunt, yeah or whatever. I forget the whole story
behind it, but I do remember unless I'm wrong, So
wont to correct me in the text line three one
of four to three or we all the internet, obviously,
but I believe bloom Boy was never even in the thing.

Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
Oh okay, Well, that's good. I mean, not that they
did that, but I'm glad that the little boy wasn't
floating around the air.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
He was pulling a scam too. The kid was looking
for a scholarship for something, I don't know, trying to
get a go fundme going for balloon boy there. But
he's speaking out there, speaking out.

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
Family is a kid now, so now he's gonna be
twenty two.

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
He was rooked into it. So the kid's fine. Kid
did nothing wrong. They rooked them into it. The parents
probably the parents were in the jail and everything.

Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
Yeah, apparently. Well, and you're right, the boy wasn't even inside.

Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
It wasn't even the balloon.

Speaker 4 (01:12:19):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Was that girl even in the well?

Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
Yes, baby Jessica was. Yes, now I remember that she was. Yes,
she was a whole rescue effort.

Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
No, really, she was in there. Were you there?

Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
No, but I was. I had a friend that was
in the TV movie, for.

Speaker 2 (01:12:39):
The made for TV movie. Her friend was in that,
and she said, oh, yeah, that kid was down the well.
She was down there, man, quite a long time. Poor baby,
Lady Cravis. This is fly away, It's Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:12:49):
I wish the pack.

Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
Sun one of four three min man, it's Valentine in
the morning. Hold on, Lord, come to the mic. I
don't remember this at all. Laura is just telling me
I did something nice the other day. I don't remember that.

Speaker 11 (01:13:04):
Yeah, we were driving out of our car park and
I don't think Valve realized I was behind him and
sort of where out the roads are at iHeart at
the moment. It's a bit of construction, so it's just
down to one lane. And he pulled up, passed the
green light and there wasn't enough room for me, but
you could see that the light was kind of going amber,
and he was like, come on, come on in here,

(01:13:26):
like wheeled down his window.

Speaker 4 (01:13:27):
Is that how you would say it?

Speaker 11 (01:13:28):
I pressed it down, put out his hand, waved at
me and told me to sort of come towards him
and he would let my car in.

Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
I don't talk about It's like when you pull out
pass whole foots here and this won't help anybody in
Santa but they've done a lot of construction cuttings down
the one lane, so when you're pulling out, if there's
not enough room for you, you get stuck in the
middle of the road and get hit by a car.
You know, it turns green, and then people like, dude,
you're blow up the meter section. So I kind of
pulled into a little bit of a ditch type area
further to the right as much as they could and

(01:13:58):
wave the car behind me because I saw they were
stuck in the middle. The rogue turned out to be Laura.

Speaker 4 (01:14:01):
So you didn't know it was Laura.

Speaker 2 (01:14:02):
No, I didn't know.

Speaker 11 (01:14:02):
It was right the you're smiling and then when I
came up behind you, I was smiling and waving and
you didn't see me.

Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
Well at that point, I just I'm not looking for
hot blondes and the next to me or something. Laura,
come on.

Speaker 11 (01:14:15):
But it was very sweet, and I thought, what a
nice gesture.

Speaker 4 (01:14:18):
Yeah, that is nice, so sweet.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
And then I hunked him and said, she a little
slow there, buddy, get going? What have your pray us
along there? Pal is one of four to three my family.
It is Valentine in the morning, when the biggest stories
today is Jill's eggs are out, your eggs are being defrosted.
Speak right now.

Speaker 4 (01:14:38):
It's so exciting.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
In the process of ivf S, something that my wife
and I went through Jill's going through their husband right now.

Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Yes, And we got the email confirmation yesterday that the
process has begun.

Speaker 2 (01:14:50):
What did they say, They're out.

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
They sent over some forms that we had to sign,
and she's held to me. She's like, once the forms
are signed, then we will begin the I forget the
exactly they are very technical.

Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
Yeah, but any pictures for instagram of the eggs or
anything like a little.

Speaker 4 (01:15:06):
Hats or something, I don't think so I get asked
to make something for me.

Speaker 2 (01:15:12):
Yeah, and there were yours a free range or we're organic. Yes,
have seen them.

Speaker 4 (01:15:19):
I've never seen them. I do know that we have four.

Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
How small is an egg? I mean it must be.

Speaker 9 (01:15:25):
I have this photo in my mind of like what
that might look like. I've never seen what that.

Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
Was, and my wife went through it, but I'm sure
it's something that's like a pinhead size.

Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
I'm sure small. But we have four, so hopefully some
can get damaged during this process, but hopefully all four.

Speaker 2 (01:15:40):
Yeah, will be okay, four little eggs.

Speaker 4 (01:15:42):
And then we can make four embryos.

Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
And they didn't grade them like graade A or anything
like that.

Speaker 4 (01:15:47):
I do know that three of them were a pluses at.

Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
First plus as wow, fourth one was.

Speaker 4 (01:15:53):
An A plus the next day it took a little
longer to mature. Oh you know, that's okay.

Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
You got flour Gosha. And then your husband will go
off and do what husbands do in a private room
with no windows.

Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
And then he'll then they'll makedambryos.

Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Take that cup and give it to work. You've been there,
I've been there, and it's it's a it's an up
and down process, lots of highs and lots of lows,
it really is, and you have to be prepared for
that and hopefully it's a lot more highs and lows.
And the goal at the end is to have a child,
right and you know, if you make it that far
and that's what happens, you have a healthy baby, then

(01:16:31):
that's everything right.

Speaker 4 (01:16:32):
And Jeff and I have said, you know, we we
were so we work really well together and we have
not had to deal with a lot of hard things yet.

Speaker 2 (01:16:41):
Yeah, and you may not. You may not.

Speaker 4 (01:16:44):
We said, okay, you know we are going to be
there for each other throughout this whole thing, and we
know it's going to be ups and downs and we're ready.

Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
Will your mom be there for him like she was
there for you. How weird is that, Karen Scoto, I
will never understand what you were doing there the day
and my mother in law got rest your soul up
in heaven. The two of them were outside the room.

Speaker 11 (01:17:06):
Huh.

Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
I had to go and do what guys do for IVF.
My wife was in a different room with a procedure
going on, and basically, like you know, walk from your
kitchen to your living room. That's what I did. I go,
all right, guys, we've seen a bit. I gotta go
in here. Then I walked back out of that room
and there's Karen Scotto, Jill's mom, and my mother in
law at the time, just sitting there hanging out reading

(01:17:27):
stuff in the waiting room.

Speaker 8 (01:17:29):
A big day.

Speaker 4 (01:17:30):
They were there to support.

Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
That is odd? Is it odd?

Speaker 5 (01:17:35):
Family that close?

Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
We heard everything. It was very odd it was there.
I have to do a podcast about that sometimes because
all the stuff that happened that day was so insane.
So just and who cranked up the volume of the
TV in that.

Speaker 4 (01:17:48):
Room from sedans and SUVs to full size trucks experience
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified. Three
things you need to know.

Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
Right now, Dodgers owner Mark Walter is purchasing majority ownership
of the Lakers from the Bus family. It's kind of
crazy that basically he owns the Dodgers and he's now
going to own the Lakers too. This deals worth ten billion,
making me the largest sale of a sports franchise in
US history. The Lakers have been owned and operated by
the Bus family since nineteen seventy nine. They won eleven
championships during that time. I believe that genius staying on though,
as like the person in charge or something like that

(01:18:21):
of the Lakers for now, the governor, the Governor's they
call them.

Speaker 8 (01:18:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
This weekend, a dangerous heat wave will affect about one
hundred million people from the Midwest to the northeast. Now
Here in south of California, though, we're geting experienced some
June gloom with low clouds and cooler temps. Experts say
there's a chance a strong windsowe in your mountain areas
with the wind guests up to sixty miles per hour.
That means the possibility of down trees and power outages
in those areas. John, what's trending your music?

Speaker 9 (01:18:45):
Well, it is a new Music Friday. One of the
big tracks we're following is the new song from Ed Sheeran.
It's off that new F one movie soundtrack, a song
called dry.

Speaker 8 (01:18:55):
Same.

Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
By the way, that movie is Stellar. Yeah, we got
to see it ahead of time. John and I, Oh
my gosh, it's so good.

Speaker 3 (01:19:06):
And the soundtrack rocks too.

Speaker 9 (01:19:07):
This is the song that plays right is the credits roll,
and I was just like, let's go, let's add Cheeran
And that's.

Speaker 2 (01:19:11):
John Mayer on the guitar, Dave Girl.

Speaker 8 (01:19:13):
On the drum.

Speaker 9 (01:19:13):
So just a huge collab there, and you can stream
it for free on the iheard radiop John.

Speaker 3 (01:19:17):
Camuchi best Today's training music.

Speaker 8 (01:19:19):
Prista if we know it?

Speaker 13 (01:19:22):
That was got up in plays gat for the next part,
you know I if I'm back.

Speaker 2 (01:19:30):
You know what's crazy about that F one racing? Like
you think steering wheel right, it looks like a little
video game handheld controller. You're like, that's how you're steering
this thing at two million miles an hour nuts one
o four threem. It is Valentine in the morning. It's

(01:19:51):
nine forty five. Good morning. At least Fox coming up
here at ten o'clock. She'll be in here at ten. Oh,
they're they're running commercials for summer travel destinations and deals.
They're showing why Leiah Hawaii. Oh my gosh, looks so good.
You could still take a vacation. It's n soccer I
D camps. We've got a denver IDEP camp coming up.

(01:20:12):
The coach from UCLA just emailed us about one here.
But you CELA is a very tough school to get into,
like college wise, it's tough. And number two soccer is
just like that's insane. You know, all those kids are
coming from London or something. You know, that's my life
soccer recruiting and college choices and stuff like that.

Speaker 7 (01:20:30):
Would you get a weekend to go away, like leave
them home the family.

Speaker 2 (01:20:36):
I see what you're saying.

Speaker 7 (01:20:37):
My brother in law they are doing that this year,
separate vacations where they're just going He's.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
Gonna do something totally by himself. She's doing something.

Speaker 7 (01:20:45):
By herself and like by themselves, not like yes, friends
or anything. And he was like, I don't know where
they came up with the idea, but they're.

Speaker 2 (01:20:52):
People do that all the time.

Speaker 4 (01:20:53):
Break.

Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
I don't think you've ever done like a solo vacation.
I don't think my wife has either, but I get it,
like certain intro may not be your partner's interests. Like,
I'm a peeper. I like to peep, You do like leaves?
Leaf peeper? Oh yeah, leaf peeping. No, that's what they
call themselves, peeps peepers. Yeah, but you put a leaf
in there too, leaf peepers, not just peepers. I'm a peeper.

(01:21:14):
Who's that outside there in the lawn? It's a peeper.
But I like to peep leaves, and so, like going
to New England's son in the fall, to be a
peeper would be something I'd be into. My wife's not
so much into the peepsy. You know, you would love
to do some bird watching. I love birdwatching, you know.
My wife not so much into the bird watching, you know. Simple.

Speaker 4 (01:21:34):
So maybe you can get away for a weekend and
peep and peepe.

Speaker 2 (01:21:38):
But there's no peeping right now. It's not the time
of the year.

Speaker 4 (01:21:40):
The peep you peeped us this morning?

Speaker 2 (01:21:43):
What what are you talking about? Expand on that.

Speaker 4 (01:21:48):
That beautiful bird.

Speaker 2 (01:21:49):
But that's not that's not peeping. That's not a leaf,
that's a bird. You weren't peeping on that bird though.

Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
The bird watching and the peeping.

Speaker 2 (01:21:58):
I'm sorry, can I tell you something?

Speaker 4 (01:22:00):
I hate this weird and I apologize.

Speaker 2 (01:22:02):
I'm not taking credit for this. This is on you.
So when John Peek, our boss, gets mad and we
all have to go to some meetings about your long
and winding road, they took us down here and all
the distractions and side steps and missteps, this wasn't on me.
There's thousand bucks coming away on Monday morning when we
get on the air. We started up again Monday, thousand
dollars Phillip a lot of cash like thirteen chances a

(01:22:23):
day that starts Monday here on Valentine of the warning
one four three sm entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (01:22:30):
If you ever wondered what Sabriena Carpenter is doing before
her show. Before every show, she is plunging in a
backstage bathroom in her portable ice bath minutes before she
goes on stage. She did an interview with Rolling Stone,
and a lot of what they talked about didn't make
the article. So then Rolling Stone published everything I kind
of didn't really make the article. And in that interview,
