It's the Valentine in the Morning replay. Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine
in the Morning. I laughed heartily. Oh my God, help us respectful
to say I love you. Thefull show podcast starts right now, one
of four to three. My family, It is Valentine in the Morning.
Good morning, Jill. How areyou today? Good morning. I'm doing
very well. I have decided thatsomething has taken over my hands and my
(00:22):
brain because I now make my k'sin a totally different way than I have
ever before. And I don't evenmean to look at this. Look at
that K. Ooh, it's likeyou got a little loop on it.
I wrote the word skating up onour whiteboard, and my ks now have
this little loop and that I justI wrote something down over here on this
(00:44):
piece of paper, and there's aK with the loop. I don't even
mean to do it. But it'sjust a thing now with my K differently
as you get older, is whatyou're saying, changed, I guess,
But like this is like a todaything, today thing. Yeah, you're
just noticing how you wrote the letterK today. Yeah, and you're wondering
why suddenly different from all your previouscase, Why is that loop there that
was never there before? Are youloopy? Yeah? Okay, sure,
(01:07):
right, remember all the amount oftime you guys invested into the Harry styles
f with Taylor Swift, it's stillcoming. I don't think you can say
that, yeah, because you've nowwritten a different letter than've written your entire
life. Who knows about handwriting anymore? Well, especially with her with Taylor's
vault tracks from nineteen eighty nine,we're learning more about the relationship she had
with Harry. Yeah. I thinkpeople change, people grow. They could
(01:33):
have a total as we know,as we've seen their relationship is still on
good terms, right, but uh, it would be pretty wild now to
get into wet from the two.Can I ask you this? And I
don't mean any disrespect when it comesto Taylor Swift, so I'm not I
don't want his swifties because I respectthe Swifty army, I really do.
Is there a chance? And Taylor'swritten, you know, songs about her
relationships and stuff like many guys writeabout their relationships. Does she ever admit
(01:57):
a song that she was wrong, that she was bad, that she was
the problem with the relationship. Doesshe Back to December is the first song
that comes to mind, Is itreally? Now? What's that about?
That's about Taylor Lowner. Yeah, and she's the one that's saying like she
left him and she goes back tothat, she goes back to December to
think she feels like she made amistake with that. Yeah. And he
has been named Taylor Swift's best ex. I saw, yeah, but he's
(02:23):
married now, right, It's likeSwifties pick the best, the best X.
Yes, he Taylor's best ex,coming in at number five Harry Stylis
and number four John May. Oh, no, he'd much lower, give
me much lower. No, ButI love that Taylor Lawtner's wife. Right,
Taylor is a Taylor, She's aSwifties. She is a huge Taylor
(02:44):
Swift fan. Yeah, and Ilove that about her. Yeah, she's
a confident girl. I actually knowHER's very sweet. John. How you
doing, buddy, I'm feeling goodman. I was a little uh taken
back this morning. We had aguy knock at our door at thirty thirty
this morning. Ooh, it wasso weird. I heard it as I
was waking up, and I honestlythought I was still dreaming. I was
like kind of tired. So Istarted getting ready to put my clothes on.
(03:06):
I still hear the knock. Iwas so confused. So sure enough
I get out, I get mybag, and fifteen minutes later there's this
guy knocking and I like look outthe window and there's just this dude at
the front door. So sure enoughI opened it and I was like,
hey, can I help you, sir? And he was like, hey,
man, I was wondering if Icould borrow a phone. Oh gosh.
And I was like, yeah,I got a phone right here.
(03:27):
He's like, I don't know anyone'snumber. I don't have anyone to call.
I just need to log into myInstagram to message somebody to come pick
me up. Like it's a longstory, whatever, whatever. And so
I was like, to be honest, I'm headed to work. I'm like
running late as it is. Idon't know if I can sit here and
wait for someone to pick you upon Instagram. But like, if you
want to call somebody, you couldabsolutely use my phone. He said,
you know, man, don't worryabout it. Hope you have a good
day at work. John. That'sso bizarre. It was the strangest thing.
(03:53):
I'm shocked that you answered the door. Well, I had to leave
that door. When you go hometoday, find out who he did kill?
Good god, it was very verystrange. That's very strange. The
only way to contact anybody's through Instagram. Yeah, I'm not buying that.
Well what wasn't either? Okay?I started thinking and I was like,
(04:13):
you don't know he was number right, right? Like I know maybe three
people's number in my life. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, your
generation doesn't know numbers anymore. Totally. I still tell you phone numbers of
my ex girlfriends. Really, youknow, oh absolutely, I got Leilani's
her number is eight one seven twonine seven bup, you know I got
that down Yeah, you know, legit know mine, my mom's, my
sister's and that is it. Icould tell you the The phone number from
(04:35):
my ex girlfriend from Boston was fiveaw eight sixt or two from hold on
the downstairs phone was five away sixtytwo one. For I just know numbers
because I used to dial on allthe ladies, like I remember, like
my parents bline, my sister ismy mom and dad and Valentine's number.
(04:55):
I don't know my boyfriend's number byheart? Yeah right? Yeah, how
old is this guy at the door, I would say he must have been
in his twenties. We're all rightsaying it live in that Instagram world.
Oh for sure he did. Yeah, did you lock the door and you
left? About the doggy door outback that's always wide open? Locked that
thing? Yeah, went back andI was like, yeah, hold on,
I forgot something inside and locked everythingreal quick before I left. Well,
(05:15):
let's watch the news today. Theson of Sam's son can be there
right now. Who knows? Allright, Brian, you well, I'm
doing great man, one of fourto three my family. It is Valence
in the morning. I wanted toask you as a question, if you
don't mind, of course, andit's it's a legit question, and I've
thought about it kind of often,and it's it's weird. I don't have
(05:40):
an answer. When you think ofa fish, right, ordinary fish swim
in the ocean, How do fishget high? Do you know? What
do you mean? How do theyget high? How do they like?
Brian? You know, if it'sfour twenty on a Friday, how does
the fish get high? Do youfish get high? And then I looked
(06:00):
into it. Apparently they do,you know, fish gets hied seaweed.
Then I came I came back tothe land. I'm like, what am
I doing in the water. I'mnot aquaman. I don't swim with fish
all the time. Why do Ireally care about? You know? What
they do? And I started tothink, why do cows have hooves instead
(06:26):
of feet? Why do we saythat? What do we go, Oh,
he's got a hoof, he's gothooves? Why do we do that?
What do cows have hooves instead offeet? Help them? That's good,
but that's not it. It's becausea lactose As someone who's lactose intolerant,
(06:46):
I really enjoyed that. Do youknow what's orange and rhymes with parrot?
Well, I assume carrot, andI'm probably gonna be wrong. You're
going to be a dad, thatwas that's the answer. You're gonna be
a dad. He got a dadjoke. That's not a joke, that's
(07:09):
a fact. It's great. What'sorigin rhymes with parents? That's not funny,
it's very funny. I'm laughing.How do you get a country girl's
attention? Now? Is Olivia's countrygirl more a country girl? Do you
know how you get a country girl'sattention? A tractor. H I'm still
(07:33):
trying to figure out the carrot one. Now, why can't you let it
go? It's very funny. Yougot it. That means you're gonna be
a dad soon. It was atest, but usually they have like a
dual meaning or like some kind ofother interpretation. Yeah, that was just
too obvious. I don't think so. I think he got it and no
(07:54):
one else did. What's so Jehovahwould no, no, no no,
do do a lipa? Will beon our show a little bit later on
today. Valentine in the Morning,Valentine in the Morning, one four three
nineties to Now, Hey, there'sone thousand bucks coming your way at six
o'clock this morning. And as youget up and get ready to get the
(08:15):
kids ready for school and stuff likethat. And know, some people get
up really early. Some kids areup and moving in that six o'clock hour
if they're on the bus. Iknow kids that go to Colline School.
Some live like an hour away andhave to take that bus. It's crazy,
right, Yeah, And you knowyour kids would get up and you
know they'll feel sometimes like they're includedwith things, and sometimes they're not included.
I went through that unpopular phase inschool myself. You know, they
(08:39):
used to call me batteries because thatwas never included with anything. You're still
sneaking in these tad jokes. Idon't think I snuck that in. I
think that was opening up. Ithink that was all you thought I was
opening up. I was opening up. Thank you, Brian. One thousand
dollars come your way at six o'clockthis morning, one four three. My
(09:03):
family eat is Valence in the morning. Dou Leiba gonna be on the show.
We have her after seven twenty orso. Brian's all jazzed up.
Everyone looks nice today, new haircuts. I don't know what we're thinkings gonna
happen. Like we're all like dressedup for like du a lipa and look
kind of cute and stuff. AndI'm wearing this like black Lululemon top that
I have here and everything, Like, what do we think is gonna happen?
(09:24):
Well, you're even dressed up.What do you think is gonna hapen?
Yeah, I don't thin anything's gonnahappen. I know this is being
filmed, okay, photos, LikeI just I just kind of spruce it
up a bit. When guests comein men or women. I want to
do it to come in and belike, Oh, they're excited that I'm
here. You know, they dressedup a bit. Is Olivia your girlfriend
excited that you're gonna meet du ALipa? Oh my gosh. Yeah.
She told me I have to stoptalking about Dua Lipa the way I talked
(09:46):
about you're talking about do at home. Yeah, because I will just say
what we say here in the studioand hold on, buddy. She is
gorgeous human, you know, likethere's something about her that's captivating. I'm
not the one saying that. Youguys have been saying that. Yeah,
Brand and I have both been You'vebeen saying that a lot too much.
You guys aren't in the room.It goes even Also when Jill and I
(10:07):
are in the room. You guys, you're talking more about do Lifa.
We have right become a bonding thing. Michael, have you been talking inappropriately
about Dua Lipa with these guys.Well, I'm not going to meet her,
so I haven't been exactly thinking aboutit all. I can't pull up
zoom for you, Okay, great, Michael's just sitting there in his pajamas
or something in New York like,oh, hold on, put something on.
(10:31):
It's what I can do here.Michaels, our producer, works out
of New York City. All right, it's Valentine in the Morning. This
is one of four to three MYFM. If you guys want to reach out
and beyond the ARA desk, textingright now three one oh four to three
or call eight six six five fourfour my FM. Good morning Valentine,
Valentine in the Morning on four tothree MYFM. I've been told that here
(10:56):
on Valentine in the Morning on onea four to three MYFM, if you're
just waking up starting to day thatI hope people tend to get up on
the hour, the fifteen's or something. Not many people set their alarm,
like I've always said, for likesix oh three or something. A lot
of people do six six, fifteen, six twenty whatever. So if you're
just now kind of getting out ofbed and stuff, I've been told that
Jill has something special for this breakhere on Valentine in the Morning, I
(11:18):
do. I thought this was sointeresting. I'm a pretty positive person most
of the time, and I sawthis article that was done by all kinds
of different research universities, like allthese studies were done. Five ways to
be ten times happier with your life. Oh okay, and they are very
(11:39):
very simple things that we can do. Number one. Wait are we starting
at number one? Is it moreof account? This is not account,
it's not an account. No,we're counting down for five. I always
feel I know, but I alwaysfeel like number one. People are just
we're programmed to feel like it shouldbe accounted. But if it's five ways,
right, well, then I wouldn'tsay number one. I say like
the first way or something instead ofsaying number one. That's just me.
(12:01):
Yeah, that's just you. Thenumber one on this list of five ways
to be first way, one ofthe ways, one of the five ways.
One, yes, number one.Focus on your accomplishments and avoid comparing
yourself to others. So this isvery hard, especially with social media.
So what they want you to dois just direct your energy to what you
(12:22):
enjoy doing. It doesn't have tobe like this big accomplishment like oh I
graduated from college or oh I didthis. It's just you're focusing your energy
onto what you've accomplished in your lifethat makes you happier. I help people
through their day with like countdown advice. Oh gosh, as hard as you
(12:43):
can, try not to compare orcompete with others' lives that you see.
Got it. The next item onthis list. The next way to make
yourself happier with your life is tosmile more. Just smiling and standing up
straight one of those. It canhave such a positive effect on your mood,
on your stress levels, your outlook, even if you're not feeling happy.
(13:05):
Just smile, even if it's afake smile. Smile. I've heard
that since I was a kid thatlike smiling kind of tricks your brain.
Yes, and so it might justgive you that little boost of happiness.
Yes, because you're making the consciousdecision to be happy by making putting a
smile and face Valentine beautiful smile.I look No, I feel like that
person, did? I look likeYou're kind of like the joker and it's
(13:26):
weird. Another thing to do isput more importance on experiences rather than money.
Yes, can make life a loteasier, yes, but experiences like
traveling right exactly, focus on thatand put importance on that. That can
(13:48):
help you be a lot of experiencesover money and stuff. Because if you
go after the money. You're alwayschasing the money. Right experiences some of
you hold near and dear exactly.Number three. This is that was number
three, right, I didn't knowit wasn't said okay. The fourth way
on this list to make your lifeten times happier is to focus and remember
(14:09):
good times. A study was donethat found the one way to build inner
strength without seeking validation from other peopleis to foster those positive thoughts and feelings
in your mind. Focus on that. Remember a happy time in your life,
a song that makes you happy. You're thinking about that. You're focused
on a joyous time in your life. I had a song that I seem
(14:33):
to remember. I would always playlike when I thought maybe I was gonna
have it. I was going ona date, or a young lady might
pop by the house or something likethat for coffee. You know, it's
a go I entirely do, butit makes no sense as to why I
did it. It was Sophie B. Hawkins. As I lay me down,
(15:00):
could you home me cal It's beautiful, it's great right you're going on
a date like, I pray thatyou will hold me In the year I
was begging for love. This isabsolutely big and No. Number five.
Last way to make your life fivetimes happier give up Facebook. Oh easy.
(15:20):
You will feel more enthusiastic, moredecisive, waste less time, and
enjoy life more by giving up Facebook. That'll be that'll be gappier with your
life. THO, well, thoseare great. Those are your top five.
No, just those are the fiveways. Valentine in the Morning up
sext. We have a chance foryou to experience a really fun holiday event
(15:43):
for you and the entire family. So call us down to play. Eight
sixty six five four four mya M. That's eight sixty six five four four

(16:07):
partying like a madman before you dothe traffic, look at you, yes,
sir, Good for you. Whowon that game, by the way,
Lakers did actually easily. It wasa really good game for them.
Actually the best game of the season, I think, yeah, they tied
their three point record. Yeah yeah, that's actually I think the teams combined
for like forty two threes. Itwas near an NBA record for combine threes.

This is one of four three MIFM, the portion of that ten freeway
that's been severely damaged by fires ontrack to reopen. A lot of people
are wondering when that was going tohappen. Right well, in about three
to five weeks. Officials say they'llnot be demolishing and replacing sections of the
(34:40):
freeway, which is originally a possibility. The closure will effect about three hundred
thousand people who need to find analternate way to get to work in school
for about another month. Maybe ifyou can't stay home, if you bost
toll. Let you stay home, you know, maybe do that. She
was like, all right, youdon't take the ten, Jill, I
was going to start taking the tenyou know times. Oh do you really?
Depends on where I'm coming from. All right, that sounds shaddy.
(35:05):
Red Lobster is in a difficult spotbecause of their endless shrimp promotion. Seems
that the company underestimated how much shrimptheir customers can eat. Oh no,
I love it. In fact,Red Lobster will likely report about a twenty
million dollar loss in revenue. Whatthey're hoping to make up for this by
(35:25):
raising the price their bottomless shrimp deal. I guess, uh, well,
what is bottomless different than endless shrimp? Same thing, same thing? Okay
they thought that, uh they hadit figured out. But people just ate
a lot of shrimp. That ishilarious. It's a dangerous thing for restaurants
bottomless and endless things because we asAmericans, we see no bottom, we
(35:46):
see no end. Look at ourbottoms. They're huge ends. All right,
John, can what you get thesports? You guys? Dare I
say it? You see your vine? They're having a moment. Oh god,
no, they really are. Thoughyou have not everybody and everything can
have a moment. They're different moments. In this moment is you see your
vine? Kelly Clarkson wrote a songabout one moment. You've got a moment
like every day for somebody. Youlisten to this, you tell me their
(36:07):
women's soccer team knocked out the Bruinsin the first round of the playoffs on
Friday. Upset huge. Last night. Their men's basketball team upset USC.
Huge deal. They have not donethat since twenty twelve. It's been over
ten years since you see Yourvine hasbeat USC and men's basketball. They did
it last night. That's two upsetsin a week. You see Irvine.
(36:27):
Lookout, dude, they're having amoment. Okay, are they and eaters
or something? Ant Eaters are havinga moment, guys, congratulations. John's
right, you're having a moment.Seven one. It is Valentine in the
morning, coming up. Dua Lipagonna stop by du Aleipa in studio on
MYFM. We're three mifam. Itis Valentine in the morning. A lot
(36:47):
of shouts for U see Irvine.People appreciate John repping the ant eaters this
morning. They're having a moment.Their basketball program. Their soccer program on
fire. Right now there are mancongratulations the OC so there it is.
Hey, what's up? We readLobster. They didn't learn their lesson.
They had the same thing happened abouttwenty years ago val when they did an
endless crab deal. Oh no,they lost a bunch of cash, red
(37:09):
Lobster and financial problems because of anendless shrimp deal, taking a twenty million
dollar loss. I guess this yearbecause they didn't expect Americans eat so much
shrimp. I feel like this isa trend. There are so many all
you can eat sushi places that havestopped doing all you can eat within the
last year because we just eat.I think so I why I'm the same
person. I love food, Ilove to eat. And if you put
(37:30):
something endless in front of us,as Americans, we accept a challenge.
As Americans, we see that asa challenge, and we're not one that
back down from a challenge. Otheryou know, lesser countries might back down
from that challenge. But if youput an endless bowl of shrimp in front
of us, we're not walking away. This is the country that had men
and women fighting fighting for years forthe protection of our society across the world,
(37:53):
in the Great Wars, in WorldWar two and Vietnam and Korean all
these terrible, terrible moments that Americasrose rose up and said I will be
there. I will stand at theready. So when you put an endless
shrimp ball in front of us,We're not going to back down. You
should have learned your lesson years agowith a crab red lobster. You've made
a big mistake. Yeah, theydon't do that Europe or anything, do
(38:15):
they. No, I don't thinkso either. To get full and that's
it. Yeah, and they're done. We're like, no, I'm just
gonna keep eating this. Do youguys remember there was a character Uncle Bucket
think John Canny of the Great Outdoors, had the old ninety sixer, which
is some massive, massive steak andit was a challenge. If you finished
this, you get a free typething, ninety six ounces of steak.
It was like huge. I didthat once. Have a place called mast
(38:36):
Ros, this massive massive steak andit sat with me for days and days
and days. You know what'd youget for finishing it? Oh? A
tummy ache, don't come. Yeah, Mastress doesn't give it away free food.
That was just a big steak.Your picture on the wall or something.
Yes, I'm still there. Mypicture is still on that wall.
(38:58):
Actually side, I'm not allowed inthere anymore. Why I wore flip flops
and got kicked out because I madea scene. Do Alipa. That's your
story, Do Alifa. He isin the studio in just a few minutes.
We're gonna have her here. Doa Lipa's fantastic. Thanks, we're
excited. We've never met her inperson before. Jill's done a zoom interview
(39:19):
with her, but I've never mether in person either. Brand new music
from her. It's a good Daveone. Don't wake up the phone.
You know, he's only calling becausehe's drunk and all. So if you
like do Alifa, if you likethis music, she's here right after this
break in the morning Valentine in themorning, nineties two Now, ladies,
(39:39):
right there, I have a seatright there. How you guys doing good?
Nice to meet Nice to meet youtoo, Hi, Nice to meet
hi, Jill. Yes, Laurasocial media director. Hello, Hello,
Hello, Hiram one of our cameraman. Hello, Hello, how are you
(39:59):
see any Oh? Thank you met? Thank you? Nice little bit of
Albanian, A little bit of Albanian. Why not. It's a little welcome
to you. I love that.Thank you as here. I love the
red. Hair's beautiful. Thank you, thanks so much. I feel I
feel like myself in it. Itwas funny when I went blonde on my
last record. I loved it.But when I'd locked at myself in the
(40:22):
mirror every morning, I'd be like, oh my god, who is this
blonde? Was connecting with who youwere inside at the time. It was
like my hair was so cooked, bleach gotcha, and it just like it
was so hard to try and makeit look good on my own. It
was just a struggle every morning.Where is this? I'm like, oh,
yeah, make up in the morningfeels a little bit better. Good
(40:42):
for you. I died mine gray, Thank you. I like it.
Yeah, natural blonde. Besides this, Yeah, let's talk about the new
song Houdini. Yeah, let's whatdoes it mean to in your terms,
pull a Houdini when something's not likeworking out, you know, and into
something, you get a dip duckout depending on the situation. Okay,
should we lock the studio door incase you pull? Who I'm gonna find
(41:06):
here is it the same type ofthing. It's like ghosting somebody or something
like that. It's not necessarily it'sa little bit more polite than ghosting.
I think ghosting is like not agood way to leave a situation. I
mean, I'm kind of into itin the beginning. I'm gonna be honest
ghosting within the first few days. Why you like being ghosted? I would
prefer it to be honest, Really, somebody just like being like, actually,
(41:27):
this isn't you don't want to betold? I don't think so.
I feel like I'm so unconfrontational that, like I would almost rather you just
disappear and I get the mess. You don't like awkwardness, Yeah, you
moved on you? So you ghostpeople too, Okay, not like after
a few weeks, but like ifit's been two, three dates, maybe
four, and most really ghosted.Yeah, could you imagine being on a
date with somebody four dates and justnever talk to you again. I just
(41:49):
think it's so much cleaner and nicerto just be like, I think you're
great, but this actually isn't forme or whatever. Like, it's just
I think it's better you just givesomebody like the closure and you feel like
it's a clean slate. Imagine bumpinginto them later like that is there's nothing
more awkward than that. I thinkthe best way to kind of leave a
situation is just, I don't know, honesty, Yeah, honesty, and
(42:10):
feel confident in the fact that you'rejust like, this isn't working for me,
This isn't like right, and Ilike people knowing where they stand.
Do you feel with all your successthat you've had so far in the public
eye, you're the shining star inthe family. You've got a brother and
sister, you know, mom anddad and stuff. Do you celebrate their
successes? Are you happy for themwhat they do? One thousand percent?
(42:31):
Yeah, one thousand percent. I'mlike over the moon about every single thing.
Like a is you bragging them alittle bit? You want me to
brag a little bit? But mysister just finished university for drama. Congrats.
She's an amazing young actress. Soshe's working on that at the moment.
Right. My little brother is seventeenyears old and he just produced a
(42:52):
song which just came out with someUK artists called love It A one and
J one and h. Congrats tohim. I'm super proud of him.
On that. I mean, it'sjust amazing, like seeing them go out
and do the things that they're passionthey love, and just to see them
working and following their dreams and theirpassions. I mean, my gosh,
Like what a dream to be ableto to see that in them as well.
(43:14):
I'm we have like a little bitof an age gap. Like me
and my sister have five and ahalf years, me and my brother have
ten. As we're getting older,we're getting closer and closer. But I
just see them like my babies, you know. I'm like, we're just
close like that in that way thatI'm always just I've always had big sister
energy. So for me, wheneverthey do anything, I'm like obsessed with
them. What's so funny we seeyou as do a lipa and they see
(43:36):
you as just oh sister. Yeah, you know, it's such a wild
world, and I think that, like, you know, you are this
kind of like north star shining lightin your family and everything. Yeah,
it's amazing that they're so happy forme and we get to have so much
special quality time together and also athome. Yeah, things just don't feel
different. Yeah, which was reallynice. A lipa is here? Why
don't we at this moment just pressplay on a little hood? Thank you?
(44:00):
Yes, let's do it. Wheredo I press play? This is?
Do you think things are going wellso far in the interview? Are
we hitting all the right points foryou? Gosh? Well, you know,
(44:21):
I'm in such the early stages oftalking about any new music and stuff,
so really I think we're covering We'recovering good ground. Yeah, because
I'm still like figuring language for newnew album stuff. No, I get
it. Do a lipa's here. It's balance out in the morning, when
you get up, when you startyour day. Do you have a morning
routine? I guess it really dependson the day. If I've got really
(44:45):
early morning with work. Are youa snooze button person. I'm not a
snooze button person. I wake upstraight away, good for you. But
if I have, like let's sayI'm I don't know, I don't have
to go to work until midday, then I'd probably like a little bit more
of a lie in until nine andthen I'd get up work. I can
start my day and then go towork. But some days I start at
(45:05):
six am and then I leave. You know, everything is kind of based
on that it's it's it already depends. Every day is different. Is it
a cup of tea or a cupof coffee to start your day? Well,
cup of coffee in the morning andthen tea for the rest of the
time. It really okay, Sothat London side of you does come out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Coffeewas just like just my kick start
right beginning, and then for therest of the day it's tea. Congratulations
(45:27):
on the Grammy nomination, Oh,thank you so much. Did you have
any idea that your song, thatsoundtrack the film that Barbie would be as
big as it is. I think, like anything, you never know what
anything's going to do, whether it'sa song, whether it's a film,
whether you know whatever. I wasjust so over the moon about one being
asked to be a part of thesoundtrack and to get to work with Mark
(45:52):
Ronson and then Greta Gerwick on thisjust such a fan of both of them,
so it was an absolute no brainerfor me to do that. But
I'm just so happy for their individualsuccess with everything that's happened with the film,
with the way it's been received, with the story behind it, with
the fact that I got to bea part of it like I'm beaming.
(46:12):
Honestly, I'm just so happy.I already see so many people on TikTok
saying that Hudini is already the songof next summer, just like every summer,
it's a new boom. Do yousee some of the response on TikTok
it or anything, I do.I do. I do see the I
do see the response, and it'sjust been absolutely mind blowing like this.
(46:34):
The response to this song has beenunlike anything else I've ever released. So
I just I'm yeah. Do youinteract with the fans and SoC do you
talk to them like comment back andstuff? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
I have like Instagram on dms andstuff, so we chats and then it's
it's really nice. I've had thatkind of relationship since it started. I
did have to remove myself at onepoint for a while off Twitter just because
(46:59):
in my earlier albums, just becauseit got a little bit too much,
and understood, you can't really filterthrough the things that you read, essentially,
and some things are really lovely andsomething's on our lovely right, I
get there, and so kind ofmanaging that. I think it was more
about just me taking care of myselfin that in course sense. Yeah,
I found my balance, which isgood. When did you realize it's so
(47:22):
funny to talk to different entertainers aboutthis. When did you realize for yourself,
I have something? What age isa kid growing up where you said,
Oh, I've got something I wantto share with the world. I
feel like I could do this.I could be on stage, I could
be behind that microphone. Was therea moment for you? You know?
I went to like singing lessons whenI was younger in London. This is
(47:44):
like before I moved to Kosovo. So I was like about maybe nine years
old and I was in it.It was like a big group class.
I was like lots of kids singingtogether, and I remember the teacher there
moving me up I was nine atthe time, and moving me up with
like the fourteen and fifteen year oldsin the class that was a little bit
earlier in the morning. And Iwas like, oh my god, I'm
going in with the teenagers. Thisis terrifying. I'm so nervous, And
(48:07):
the teacher would make me get upin front of all those older kids and
sing and I was so scared. But when it really helped me build my
confidence. But also made me feellike, oh, maybe there's something there.
And then when I moved to Kosovaat the age of eleven, I
think it was just kind of thefeeling that I always wanted to be in
a place where everything was happening. That although I had so many incredible experiences
(48:30):
in Kosovo, I felt like Ineeded to be back in London and working
in order to be able to achievethis I guess, which I didn't even
know was possible, to be reallyhonest with you, but I'm happy I'm
here. How much time maybe spentin Albania. I lived in Cosavo from
the age of eleven to fifteen, four years of my life. It's a
beautiful area of the world and Ithink a lot of us in America don't
really know about it. Yeah,it's amazing. I mean I spend a
(48:52):
lot of my summers in Albania, like in the south, but in Kosovo
is where my parents are originally fromwhere I lived for sure, in quite
I guess, formative years of mylife. So I love it. But
I'm I'm biased, and it's yeah, that's home for me. Yeah,
will you celebrate now in London ifyou're there, would you celebrate Thanksgiving.
Obviously it's an American holiday, butnow you're here, but americanized a little
(49:15):
bit. Probably. I've never reallycelebrated Thanksgiving, okay actually because it's just
it hasn't been a British thing. We're trying to get it over there.
It's going to be. But look, the thing is is we do like
Sunday roasts every single you know,it's like a big English thing. So
I feel like Thanksgiving. I lovethe sentiment behind like giving thanks and I
(49:36):
think that is amazing. But itjust feels like pregame for Christmas. You
know, you're just like you're liketraining for the biggest you know, this
holidays. You got to get prepfor what's to come for Christmas, Like
are you ready to eat that much? Be ready for the food? Go?
Oh my god? Can you pushyourself to the edge? We in
this country, I think we getto Halloween and once we start eating that
(49:57):
candy, we've pretty much given upon watching our figures out one that candy.
It's like it's free Candidate's downhill andit's all over the office. That's
the best thing about the holidays exactly. I don't know, because January comes
then you're like, oh, I'vegot to like watch my waist again.
And every second it's like sweat weatherand you're having versed every Sunday. You
don't even think about it, likeI'll take that the heart. I'll take
(50:21):
the heart. And it's nice tomeet chat. It's nice to me too.
Think you so much for coming in. Likewise, one O four to
three my FM. Here's what's comingup In entertainment headlines, Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
hasn't aired on TV in years. And Valentine, I'm glad you're sitting down
because that is about to change. They're feeling the holiday spirit. I'll tell
you how you can watch it forfree. Coming up next, one O
(50:44):

on ABC in years because Apple acquiredthe rights to the Peanuts catalog back in
twenty twenty. But it is thespecials fiftieth anniversary and then the sphere of
the Holidays. Apple TV Plus isgoing to allow non subscribers to watch it.
(51:05):
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving for free this Saturdayevery Sunday. It's so good.
I know you love it. CharlieBrown. Those things were just a bestard
part of my childhood. Whenever theycame on, that was a sign for
the holidays. And you had thatCharlie Brown Halloween special as well. That
was a big thing too. Pumpkinor something great pumpkin, Charlie Brown is
(51:27):
not a something. The great pumpkinsare real thing. Well on the little
Christmas tree that's just so little anddoes not me leaves on it. And
just the way that she always tookthe football. Oh, it's like the
football and Charlie Brown on his bigside. So you can watch it for free
this weekend on Apple TV Plust andChris Pine. He has starred in Don't
Worry, Darling, Wonder Woman,Dungeons and Dragons. Most recently, he
(51:51):
was out going to the gym wearinga pair of very short shorts and the
Internet roasted him about it, andhe was asked about those short shorts in
an interview and he's sticking by them. He says, I don't think there's
anything to defend. It's called ashort. Isn't it supposed to be short.
It's a vibe. It's the bestvibe. It's like a Tom Sellig
vibe. He then said he's goingto keep wearing these short shorts until the
(52:15):
legs go, so expect Chris Pineto be in very very short shorts.
I'm Jill with entertainment headlines. Allright, it's one of four to three
mi fam. Thank you to doAlipa for coming in the studio. Some
texts coming in here. Val,How did it feel interviewing a beautiful lady?
Did you feel prepared? Yes?I thought the interview went quite well.
Actually, oh my gosh, she'sso great, you guys. I
loved her. How's Brian doing rightnow with Dualipa? Please tell dou Leapa
(52:38):
I love her music. Brian, how are you doing, buddy? Oh
my god? Can I just sayone thing? Yeah? When she you
know, we took pictures with her, We just stick some pictures. Scratched
and rubbed my back for a secondtime. She has fause she was too
thank you for the interviewthing. Shegave him a little squeez, a little
(52:58):
backscratch. It. I didn't getit was she knew I was nervous.
Do you remember that photo that leakedof Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey from the
locker room where she's kind of gother claw on him it was a little
bit of that. Okay, yeah, anyway, it was a thrill.
She was fantastic. Wow, Iknow, yeah, she was really really
good. I loved Juiliepa And thisis Laura. She's our social media director
(53:21):
from Australia. And I was tellingmy boyfriend. I was like, I'm
so excited to hear an accent.Got such a beautiful accent. And he
was like, you realize that youhave an accent, right, And I
was like, what, No,there's no way, there's no way.
Now that I've had her accent,I can say she has a significantly more
beautiful accent than mine. Oh areyou striving to sound like do Lipa on
(53:42):
the radio? Is that what you'rehelping to be? Should I try to
be British? Now? I thinkI could be. I don't know.
That was awful. I'm sorry,sorry, I don't know. I don't
know, I don't know. No, you can get a lovely accent,
but Australian and British do a Lipa'saccent? She was just on the air
of this little bit different. Ithink yours is more a little bit of

with the high schoolers. Just reallyproud of all the hard work that they
put in this year. And wegot to see them put on their show
and it was pretty spectacular. Ohso that was this past weekend. Yeah,
it was this last Saturday. Wehad to drive three hours on the
bus. Oh oh, in VenturaCounty. Oh and you guys are coming
(55:13):
from Riverside to Ventura, Okay, gotcha. Yeah. It was a small
but mighty band. Yeah, andwe lost a lot of people along the
way. Uh, oh my god, I'm so sorry to hear that.
What happened? Just I don't know, Uh, you know, we had
we had a lot of seniors thatneeded to focus on senior stuff. And
oh god, it's sound of likethe drive from Riverside to Venturia. You
lost a lot of people, losta lot on there on the side of
(55:37):
the road, and we wished tothe basket. Oh my god, were
you in Marching Man yourself? No, my wife was. She was pretty
excited to watch the kids go throughit. What did your wife do in
Marching Man? She started out influte and then too saxophone. Oh wow,
wow, went to a readed instrument. That's fascinating. The fingering was
(55:59):
all same on both instruments, soit was an easy jump for her.
I don't know about that. Ihave a I know the fingering out of
saxophone quite well. I was analto sax guy. I never played flute.
Who knew? I could tell yourwife that you talked to a Van
dorn Man two and a half twoand a half? What two and a
(56:22):
half? That's what I use whenI wet my whistle. Van Dorn reads
and I was a two and ahalf read two and a half read.

don't speak cout it up later onthis hour. Is there anything you
do with your feet because you don'twant to get germs or you don't want
to do it with your hands? All right, well there's that. What
a topic. Do a leap instudio today? Now? What do you
do with your feet? I thinkmost women probably are surprised to find out
(57:30):
that, guys, we never touchedtoilets like we will flush the toilet with
our feet? We did do?Oh I didn't know that. Oh yeah,
oh my god. Nobody's losing theirhands for you guys. Does it
also extend to the bathroom door asyou're leaving. No, you use how
do you use your foot open abathroom door? It comes inside. It
depends on the handle. I'm reallygood at like getting it down with my
(57:52):
heel and then putting my toe underit to pull it if I need to
pull, or obviously if it's apush, it's super easy. Just kick
it open. There's no way youopen that bathroom door with his foot.
Well, I open this door withmy foot because it's a push through.
But that bathroom door is a pullin towards you. I do that.
This is a push from the outside, especially when you do that with your
foot. We're going in there afterthe bathroom. No, we're gonna film
this and we're gonna see it.You can if it's just a foot.
(58:15):
So the germs that are on thefloor in the men's bathroom are now on
that handle. In the men's bathroom, all the p he washed is now
on the handle. Sometimes I usea paper towel like a normal human being
in this barnyard animal uses his footor as puff. I think that's better
because I know the people who usethe bathroom in there and don't give a
full wash of their hands as they'releaving. So I prefer the ground germs
(58:37):
to the people who do not washtheir hand. They're the same germs whatever
is going around on their hands.Get this stuff that's flying off the urinal
onto the floor, it's the sameurine. Yep, but it's been through
more surfaces. What are you talkingabout. It's on someone's hands, and
then it touches the door. That'shand to door, one surface, one
(58:57):
surface, and that's actually at myshoe. Don't because it's actually more pristine.
No, I don't agree, thankyou. Translation, But you are
walking through multiple streams, and I'malso getting some germs off because I'm but
no, and by the way, what you're getting on you know that thing
from you said it's a got it. Canna says you said it's cleaner or
(59:21):
you know, you're more worried aboutit with the guy with his hands and
sad that hasn't sat on the foeorand grown bacteria or anything like that that
hasn't had a chance to grow withthe air. When it comes out,
it's pristine when a person comes outanyway, it doesn't have germs. When
a person comes out the door handleonly my foot. Is you guys touching
the door handle? That sounds likeyour problem? Wow? What he's that
touched the door? That's the societyunderstands, but it is rough. Man,
(59:44):
I can't but John, you thenopen this door with your foot,
the studio door. So you nowtrack and look at Laura's mouth. Open
my shoes touched before this door.It doesn't come off. And the carpet's
not a license. Pick it up. You're picking up more and more as
you watch. Is this what we'regoing to do for everything? Now?

Wait to see the talent. Thisman has the talented stuff he can do

One of four to three, Myfam, it is Valentine in the morning.
The talented stuff you can do withyour feet, Melissa, go right
ahead. It's not anything talented. It's just sometimes you know, when you
(01:05:25):
shoot something into the trash can andyou miss, I just grab it with
my feet. Sometimes with your toesand oh got it. You grip something
with your toes, you pick itup and then you can put it in
a trash can or whatever else youlike. You've got the claw for your
feet. I guess, yeah,I get that. Have you ever done
it with dirty laundry? If youmissed the hamper, you gotta go pick
(01:05:45):
it up and your throw it inthe hamper that way. No, that's
that's both are too big. Oh. I could do it with socks and
underwear, okay, okay, yeah, Well if it's too big, you
can just kick it up. Youget your I'll be taking off my underwear
or something and I drop it downand my right foot actually is my kicking
foot, uh, and I willtake it with a little band, give

Thank you. I text Valentine inthe morning three one oh four three,
all right, it's my fam it'sValentine. That morning is the reason
that John does sports around here andnot Brian. I was talking about some
baseball stuff off the air, andI mentioned Dave Roberts in the Great steel
(01:06:30):
for the Boston Red Sox during thefour World Series. Uh, the American
Championship Series against Yankees and stuff, how big it was, and uh,
Briancoes da Dave Roberts, he wasa player. You didn't know that Dave
Roberts was a player. I've onlyseen him recently. Not in the best
shape, that's all I'm saying.I don't know if the team's not called
the Steelers, I'm not sure howmuch Pine on that. Yeah, they
(01:06:50):
didn't look like you have a playersphysique. He's old. I'm sorry you
have a player's physique. What arewe playing, Jessica? Good morning?
How are you today, jess I'mdoing great. This place is nuts.
But here's our topic of conversation thishour. What special talent do you have
with your feet? So it's actuallya talent my mother passed on to me
(01:07:15):
and I passed on to my kids. Would dude be in the passenger seat
to drive my dad's driving. Shecould roll up the window and roll it
down with her toes, So Ican do the same and the same thing,
like I can pick anything up.And then my kids took it a
step further, and because they're ingymnastics, they were like, watch this,
and I have twins. So theydid a handstand and they started turning
(01:07:36):
the light switches on and off. That's so cool with their feet. Now,
with the advent of power windows,it's it's probably not as impressive with
the advent of power windows and carsbecause you're not rolling the window down anymore.
Oh, it's still cool. Everybody'sso like, how are you doing
that? I can I can prettymuch pick up anything or roll up the
(01:07:58):
window, et cetera with my feet. Like, why didn't you just pick
it up? I'm like, uh, because I could pick it up with
my feet. So are you likebarefoot all the time at home because you're
using your feet for turning channels anddoing stuff? Yeah, you're always barefoot?
Wow, I hate shoes And ifyou choose it, either flip flops
or you know, cute foods haveyou given up on using your hands,
I mean use your feet that much? Uh? If I can pick it
(01:08:20):
up with my feet, I willpull my foot out of my flip flop
and pick it up, for sure, Fosters, exactly, it's just for
convenience. It's just convenience. Inever have to reach down anything that is
so strange? Do you think that, honestly? Do hold on? Hold
on? Do you think that you'reannoyed if you've used your hand? Do
you think you use your feet moreon a daily basis than your hands?
(01:08:44):
Uh? No, because I typeit at the office, but yes at
home for sure. Well have youtried typing with your toes? I think
my big toes would probably get inthe way. Okay, all right,
all right, well there you go. If you weren't typing at work,
though, you'd probably use your feetmore than your hands. Absolutely. Wow,
what a life. And congrats yourkids too, in that special talent
that was passed down generation the generation. Yeah exactly, they've taken it up
(01:09:08):
a notch with the light switches.I'm like, now, freight it down
with Santa Sizer. We don't needto Oh oh, now you're telling them
to knock it down. You're doingall this other stuff with your feet.
Those four kids do one handstand, turn up a light switch. You're like,
all right, guys, you're showingmom up. You know what they
did it. They did it onehanded, one hand Stan my son the
Okay, your family's the best.We get it. Your family is amazing.
(01:09:29):
Have a great day, Jess.Bye guys, and lose yourself.
What a four three mifm. It'svalent in the morning, sweaty the week.
Yeah, you only get one shoteight forty three. It's one of
four to three mifm. It's balanceof the morning. Thanks again to do
a leap A stop by the studiotoday. That was fun talking about special
(01:09:54):
things you can do with your feet. John opens a lot of doors with
his feet. Young lady. Wetalked to picks up everything with their feet.
There was a guy years ago,God love them. Do you remember
this man who's very popular on theinternet. He had lost his hands,
I believe tragically or maybe lost bothof his arms, and he actually played
guitar with his feet and he playedit so exceedingly well. He'd learned to
play guitar by using his feet. And there's basically five little fingers to him
(01:10:16):
on both those feet. You know, I've seen them, some painters who
have lost their arms and they stillpay with their feet. It's amazing what
necessity brings to your life. Right, You need to do something, you
want to do something, and youfind a way to get it done.
And that's that's amazing. That's thehuman spirit, that's nature. We find
ways to make things happen. We'regetting a bunch more texts. Some people
are making a lot of money onOnlyFans with their feet. Yes, yeah,
(01:10:40):
I'd like to know how much.I'm curious. I don't believe I
have the feet for that. Youprobably have something for that for only fans
that you could. But that's that'skind of like as I understand it,
and I know you're much deeper inthis that I am a risk a risk
ae world, right, they usethat the thing. So is that your
understanding, Brian? And how didyou get that? I got that from
(01:11:00):
Dragon mooch John, So you havethe understanding. I have a friend of
a friend. I don't know thisperson. All she does is just pictures
of her feet and she makes moneydoing that. She quit her job stop
because she made so much money andjust her feet that she never her face
is on doing anything bad with her. It's just full on foot and it's
(01:11:24):
just there's my foot next to arose, there's my foot next to a
cup of coffee whatever. And shemakes money doing that and quit her job
because she had so much income comingin for her feet. That is it.
Listen. I'm just going to saythis okay and take it. Do
what you want with it. Thisthis world is not my world and know
(01:11:45):
nothing about it. You'd get afriend of a friend, so I understand
you have some knowledge here, andshe makes money. Your feet. You've
got a very sturdy base. We'vetalked about that before. You have you've
called it a sturdy base, butI think you called it in my life.
If I called it, sure,I can go back to the chain
larger feet. Right, I'm atall girl, so that makes sense.
(01:12:08):
I also have a second toe thatis longer than my first. Still,
there might be for you. Theremight be something out there. There might
be something out there for you thosepeople that are into second toes longer than
the other towe. Right, itlooks like a finger. Congratulations on that.
Get that sturdy base out there, make some money like don't quit your
job. But what a great secondincome, right right? Yeah, there's
so many people that actually talk aboutthat. Yeah, I can't imagine.
(01:12:31):
I can't. I wouldn't want tobe associated with it, just because I'm
not judging anybody. But it hassuch a what people think about it,
you know, like who cares face, isn't it? It's just your foot,
like walking down the street and somebodygoes, oh, it's no foot
from the old Apple dunk video. No, I don't know, so we
recognized as a foot from something. You're dunking apples with your foot. I'll
(01:12:55):
do whatever. One four three MYFM, here's what's coming upment headlines. It
was just announced Mariah Carey is goingto do something and it is the first
time that she's ever done this inher career. I'll tell you what it
is. Right after traffic, somebodysaid, I pick up legos with my
toes. Yeah, I assume tofind legos too. You can't avoid those,
(01:13:15):
Oh my god. One four tothree my SM entertainment headlines. In
honor to celebrate the band's fortieth anniversary, a collector's edition of Monopoly is available.
Wow, it's the bon Jovi fortiethAnniversary Collector's Edition stock Monopoly. It's
(01:13:41):
available for pre order right now.Bon rocks and all the little like the
game pieces, the tokens are changed, so you have like have a nice
day, smirk face, a heartand dagger logo, Don Man Joby's tamous
acoustic guitar. Like they have theselittle game pieces and the whole thing is
all about bon Jovi. So it'savailable the pre order now. It's expected
a ship in just a couple ofdays. So if you're a bit of
(01:14:02):
the band at apend of Monopoly, yeah, this would be a great gift.
Do you remember my friend you knowthe name quite well, Mark Hilberger.
Yeah, my friend from NASA,right, yes, Mark and I
at a theme park one time, did like a karaoke of that where they
took out so yeah, it waskaraoke, guess, and they gave you
a tape to get all the vocals. We sang a long tot and a
little DJ booth and stuff, andthey gave us a cassette tape of that,
(01:14:24):
and we thought we were John bonJovi. That high note. We
destroyed it, Yeah, absolutely destroyedit. I wish you could find that
tape. Well we should do akaraoke night on dude this for a long
time. Well, dude, youguys should set it up because it's been
talked about for quite a lot time. Yeah, it was a Valentine in
the Morning karaoke night where you gotto come. You did karaoke with us.
(01:14:45):
You step that place across the streetthat closed down years ago. When
they build Whole Foods, it's gotto be a great karaoke bar out there.
Yeah. Yeah, and we'll go. We'll do it, make it
a big night. I'll be there, and I know that you're excited to
sing. Yeah, we've just beendoing that Friday morning sing along in place
of that. Yeah, but don'tbe bringing any of your famous friends at
say I don't want Tanase there someday. You know, we don't need
(01:15:06):
like the Ringers. If you're like, if you sing professionally, don't show
up. You know what I mean. Nobody wants that. And it was
just announced Ria Carrey is performing onthe Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night,
and she is going to perform AllI Want for Christmas is You. This
will be the first time in historythat that song has ever been performed on
(01:15:27):
an award show. And that's goingto happen Sunday night at the Billboard Music
Awards. I'm Jill with her Davidheadline. Got it too soon for Christmas
in my opinion, but you knowwhatever, This one says, this Texa
came in to wrap up the wholefeet thing here, and I have to
ask Rap about this because Rap orAfternoon Host is Filipino. It says,
you're not Filipino if you can't pickup anything with your feet. And this
young Filipina who can fly a planeusing only her feet. Oh, I
(01:15:49):
can drive my car with my knee. I'm good at that. Somebody did
text it and said they can actuallydrive a car with their foot and the
other foot on the gas and bird, which I feel is extremely dangerous.
That's a big stretch, right,No, I can drive it with my
knee. I've done that before. And well kids are all school so they're
not listening to this. But I'vedone that. You put it in cruise
control and drive like that. Ohyeah, and then sometimes I'll put my
(01:16:11):
hands up in the air with acup of coffee, so people driving past
like, oh my god. Nowthe previous prime is like self driving.
When did that happen. You know, it's fantastic eight fifty seven. This
is one of four to three myfam It's Valence in the morning, coming
up one thousand dollars. Right afterTaylor Swift on MYFM. I was asking
(01:16:34):
Brian a second ago, have youever seen that video the cat eating wet
food for the first time. Oh, I've never seen that. I'm the
guy of either. I don't knowwhere I can find. It just popped
up my feet. It was sogood. Cat eating wet food for the
first time. He was so happyhad dry food his entire life. Think
about our dogs, they have dryfood and stuff like that. Cats have
dry food. It's not a commercialfor any you know, wet food thing.
(01:16:56):
But there's a cat I've haveing wetfood for the first time. He's
like, yeah. Now, mycats get very vocal when they know what
food is on the way. Sois wet food like in their diet every
day? Or do you do amixture of wet and dry? They know
they have dry all the time.Oh, they do, Okay, they
have a bully. You can leavethat out of grays and stuff. Yeah,
(01:17:17):
and then I give them wet foodevery night. My roommate a makes
dinner for our dog every single night. He will heat pizza rolls for himself.
But then he spends like fifteen minutesmaking this gourmet meal for our little
Australian shepherd. What does he makehim? Like? What type of food?
It's like some kind of ingredient thathas all the vitamins and minerals dogs
need. And then he mixes inground turkey I believe it is, and
(01:17:39):
he like mixes in it looks likeavocado like, it looks like some kind
of guacamole. It looks delicious, but I guess it's just for the dog.
And he like browns the turkey, right, he cooks the turkey.
It's not like raw turkey sometimes whatit might be pre cooked or whatever the
situation is there, but he makesthere, make the sauce himself. It's
it's crazy. And what sound doesyour dog make when he has that wet
(01:17:59):
food? It will wake him, like we'll wake him if it hasn't had
its food already. It just walksup in there. Oh yeah, dogs
know that. They'll wake you up. Like our dogs get fed at like
seven o'clock in the morning. Ithink like that, m hm. And
it's seven oh one on the weekend, and my dog is standing on top
of me, going, hey, listen, I know you've been trying to
sleep in, but we get asituation developing here that I think you should
be aware of. I haven't beenfed. It's seven oh one, you
(01:18:20):
know, yeah, they know, and then time change. Oh that screwed
up everything. Listen, we geta situation. I know at six am,
but I haven't been fed, andI feel like it's seven You gotta
wake up. There goes a weekendlion done. If they find that video
and cant afford it. You guys, you get so good Toyota dealers,
we make it. You see thesethree things you need to know right now?
(01:18:41):
Brian, what'd you guys talk abouton the show today? The portion
of the ten freeway that's been severelydamaged by fires on tractory open about three
to five weeks. Of Fish willsay they will not be demolishing and replacing
sections of the freeway, which originallythought was possibility. The closer affects about
three hundred thousand people who need tofind an alternate way to get to work
in school for about another month.A lot of people pushing I guess the
(01:19:01):
metro stuff like that. I'm gonnathrow it out there. What are we
doing with a goodyear blimp? Itjust sits there. Right, Let's get
a few people in that thing, fly it over some stuff, drop you
down a little repel. You'll befine. Red Lobster isn't a tough spot.
This story makes me laugh, Nooffense. If you like Red Lobster,
great place, been there over theyears. Myself love it well.
(01:19:26):
They're in a tough spot because oftheir endless shrimp promotion. Seems a company
underestimated how much shrimped their customers caneat. Have you been to Red Lobster?
People can eat it, Red Lobster. Yes, they can pack it
down. Popcorn shrimp, endless shrimp, whatever type of shrimp you got,
they'll find a way to pack itdown or even put it in their pocket.
Red Lobster likely going to report abouttwenty million dollars in lost revenue because
(01:19:48):
of this promotion. They're hoping tomake up for this buy now raising the
price of their bottomless shrimp deal.Red Lobster was also noted this morning as
going through the same thing approst metwenty years ago under different management, when
they did the Endless Crab promotion thatsent them back as well almost put them
into bankruptcy. We Americans know howto eat. Don't mess with us.

Jockie Mucci has got the sport well. The Lakers had a huge win last
night. It was their second gameof this NBA in season tournament. They
not only beat the Grizzlies by almostthirty points, but they canned twenty two
to three pointers. And if you'relike, uh, is that a lot?
Yeah, that's the team's franchise record. They tied it last night.
The Lakers are looking like they've beenlooking on paper this whole time. I
know Robert du Bucky, our trafficguy, was there, and that's three
straight wins for the Lakers. Arewe saying Robert tu Bucky was like the
(01:20:34):
good luck charmers side. It couldbe got so lucas that it on ie.
Dude, Bucky, What was itlike for you to be right there
at court side seeing those Lakers dothat? Uh? Scoring? Oh,
it's always great to be in person, And I've actually had pretty good luck
with the games that I've been to. They win more often than not,
so I think they should start toinviting me there more off. Could you
call the games? You think youcould do something like that? Do you
(01:20:54):
know enough about basketball you could calla Lakers game? I do, Yeah,
it's actually actually my kind of backgroundwas in sports. So give us
hold on, give us a littlebit. Somebody drives to the rim,
kicks it out. Give you alittle play by play if you want to
make it up? All right?Uh, Lebron dribble, drive on the
baseline, right side into the basket, pass off to Anthony Davis with the
(01:21:15):
put back dunk. Better than anyof us can tell. Your nice job.
It's much harder to make it upthan to describe. Right. You're
making it up. I don't knowwhere the ball's going. It's going there,
all right? What do we gotfor traffic? Man on three?

time for you to move Come livenear me, or come live near one
of my sisters. I demand it. She's so stubborn. She's still stubborn
in Lover so Dearly, but she'sgetting older and she needs some care and
Alzheimer's is a pain in the butt, right, And I'm like, Mom,
you get to move near one ofus so we can take care of
(01:21:56):
you, so we can be nearyou and help you and stuff. I'm
fine. Now I'm dying this house. Blah blah blah. I'm like,
no, stop that, I don'thave a suit that fits. I tell
her you can't. You know, you get a hold off on any of
that mortal stuff there until I canfit into my suit again, I said,
I listen, I'll let you know. I'll give your heads up.
(01:22:16):
Oh, I see what you're saying. Now, you're getting it right,
I gotcha. I got you.Yeah, I'm like, listen, Mom,
you can't go yet. I can'tfit into my suit, so you
know I wouldn't show up. It'stough. That's the house where all the
memories are, that's the house thatbuilt me. Yeah, that's how my
grand my grandma was. You know, she didn't want to leave the house.
She didn'tant to leave the memories whereyou feel comfortable. Yeah. But
(01:22:38):
you know, when you're a certainage and there's you know, ambulatory issues
and stuff like that, and youcan't move around and there's no one there
to take care of your daily basis. We have some help that comes in,
but Mom, I'm telling you rightnow, you got to move near
your son or your daughters so wecan take care of you. And I've
got your youngest grandson and he's cool. So that's a vote for me,

and just announced new dates and ticketsare going on sale this week. They
added a show at Honda Center inAnaheim on February third, and Courtney Cox
and Matt LeBlanc. Matt LeBlanc postedyesterday about Matthew Perry and their memories of
him, and now Jennifer Aniston postedthis morning and she actually posted a screenshot
(01:23:42):
of one of her text messages fromMatthew Perry that you know he was talking
about how much he loved making herlaugh. That's kind of what her post
was about the fact that Matthew Perrylived to make people laugh. And she
said, Mattie, I love youso much and I know you are now
completely at peace and out of pain. And she said, I talked to
you every day, rest little brother. You always made my day. I'm
(01:24:04):
Jill with her Jim hudlines, Igot choked up, but guts, yeah,
no, that's tough. All oftheir posts so far have just been
so beautiful, and they were justsuch a close family, the six of
them on Friends, and it hasto be so hard for them close in
system me. One of the biggeststories of the Friends timeline is when they
all basically said, no, we'renot going to work anymore unless you pay
(01:24:25):
each of us the same thing. And that was a time back then too
would be very easy as a malestar to sit back and go, no,
I demand more, because that's societywas stupid in that respect. We
didn't pay men and women even. And now I still realize that it's not
even, but it's better than whatit was, especially in the entertainment industry
and stuff. But back then itcould have easily been those guys going,
you know, but it's this moneymoon and the girls get that. But
they came together as understand it asa cast and said, no, we
(01:24:49):
all should be paid equal, we'reall contributing equally and stuff. So that
was a very tight knit family forsure. They got it. Yeah they
did. Brian, thank you foryour show. Thank you for your show.
