Speaker 1 (00:16):
One of four three My family eat is Valentine in
the Morning. Good morning, Juli hate in today.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
I'm so sorry if I smell like beef.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I'm I can't gonna go home smelling it. I'm just
gonna go home.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
I showered last night and beef showered what. I showered
last night thinking that I was going to stay in
and then my husband was coming home from work and
he was like, do you want to.

Speaker 5 (00:44):
Go get Crean barbecue?

Speaker 4 (00:45):
And I was like, oh yes, but I just showered,
like okay, you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna try it.
So I put my hair up in a messy bun wet,
and then I thought, Okay, I can keep some of
the smoke out of the hair.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
This way, but all I can smell, yeah, no chance
is just beef in my hair. So I'm sorry if
you guys smell it.

Speaker 6 (01:03):
Over winter break, we were off for two weeks and
I probably went to Cream barbecue. Maybe six times two
weeks good. And it started to become a thing because
I would get home and sometimes I would just go
with my friends. And I live with my girlfriend now
and she immediately when I walk in the door.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Nope, shower.

Speaker 6 (01:17):
I can smell it right now. It is so potent,
it's so strong.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
Yeah, my ham for just smells like smoke.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Now, hey, doing bry I'm fine.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
You smell anything on your side of the woods there.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
No, I'm totally cool.

Speaker 7 (01:31):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
I don't smell a thing. I don't smell your beef yet.
It's more smoke than beef. I think.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
Yeah, beef smoke, beef smoke beef. Okay, all right, so
that's all I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
That's what you're doing. Okay, here we are starting up
to show with beef smoke in the air. And you
didn't think about taking a shower this morning, and it's I.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
Didn't want to wash my hair again. I just washed.
It's such a process, is process.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Yeah, you have good water pressure at your house.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
We Yeah, it's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah, that's the thing. People, long hair, you need good
water pressure to wash that hair.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
I'm thinking about chopping it all off again, just because
of the.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Beef yeah, it's very stinky.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Yeah I could, Yeah, you could.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
You get enough hair for that? But how many inches for?

Speaker 8 (02:18):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I think four of I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
But with TikTok going away, I went back to all
my first tiktoks to save them, and I had really
really short, really really fond hair.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Is that when you were going viral? Yes? Do you
think that's what the people want to know?

Speaker 9 (02:34):
What?

Speaker 5 (02:34):
No, it's what I want to seem like. You know,
I think I'm gonna I missed that. I missed that cut. Okay,
so I know I'm thinking about it.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
You gonna diet though, too.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
I need to go back to being blonder. Yeah, it's
been a long time since I've gotten my roots done.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Have you asked Jeff about this your husband?

Speaker 10 (02:49):
No?

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Yeah, no.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Do you feel any big changes in your life right now? No?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
And that's usually when I chop it. It's when I'm
going through something. Right now, everything's great.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Do you the haircut feel like you might want to
let Jeff know before you chop it or something, asking
or anything.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
He's told me before. He loves me.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
He didn't know me with that short hair, but he
he's told me before he loves it.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
He loves that cut, but he also loves my long hair.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
That's what we say.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
He must have a preference. He has a preference, he must,
but he can't give you the preference.

Speaker 6 (03:21):
That's kind of interesting too, because like over the last
couple of months, like I've been growing my hair, I
haven't gotten a haircut, and like I'll ask my girlfriend
Olivia for her opinion, and she just won't give it
to me.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
She's like, no, I like it.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
I like it all because she wants you to be
like a musician, but you have to.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Have an opinion.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
Like there's for sure some hairstyle in the last six
months you've liked better than the rest. And she's like, no,
it's just she doesn't want to be the one that
makes that decision, you know, Yeah, because your hair you
want us to decide. No, it looks like amody, Yeah,
yeah it is.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Wait do we decide her hair too?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
I liked it? Chort Yeah. Interesting.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
He sat up, so I can see how long it
is that.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Oh will turn This is getting inappropriate. Yes, what you
just did was appropriate.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
One of four. Three. Mike vam It's Valentine the Morning.
Good morning to you, hope your day is going okay.
As you get up, you turn our show on, and
we appreciate that. If you want to follow the show
on Instagram, you can at Valentine in the morning, then
everybody's personal accounts right beneath that, at Valentine in the Morning,
then follow everybody else right beneath that. Jill changed her
name on Instagram. She's excited about that. It's now gonna say, yes.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
It has my new married name. That's my last name,
which is a Chinese name on Yes, he's Chinese.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yes, and you believe that you are now.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
No, I'm backing off of that.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You're backing up too much. Yes, why did you get
pushed back?

Speaker 9 (04:44):
For somebody?

Speaker 5 (04:44):
I didn't get pushed back.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
But right before later.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
New Year, well, she went to like this meeting with
the AAPI and they're like, what.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Are you doing here, mam? She's I'm a Chinese woman.
I just get a marriage.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
It started as a joke between friends, made its way
on the air, and I right, you know, if people.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Were all friends listening to the show, yes, but if.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
People don't know me and know where I'm coming from with.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
It, I'm a Chinese woman now by.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
Marriage yes, I I don't want to offend anyone, right.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Well, I asked my wife about that, and I go,
do you consider yourself Irish?

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Now?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
She goes yes, So she's just like Joll considers herself
Irish by marriage. There's no Irish in her. I'm one
hundred percent Irish and she believes she's Irish now as well.
She's an Irish lady. And I said, well, then am
I Hawaiian? She goes no, oh, because my wife is Hawaiian?

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yeah? Does that make me black?

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Because your wife is black?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
I think it does. You're also a black man. Congratulations. Anyway,
that all started with Jill. I had nothing to do that.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was that was all me.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
But my our kids hopefully will be kids will be
Chinese and Mexican and Irish and Russian.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
You have Russian in you, Jeff does? Jeff is Russiani.

Speaker 5 (05:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Well, if somebody goes quick, what are you can pick one?
What are you?

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Mexican?

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Had a chance to go Chinese there and you missed it.

Speaker 5 (06:05):
But I really am a Mexican woman. Oh yeah I am.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
No, I know you know, I believe you. No, I
believe you what's with the laughing? What are you laughing at? No,
just watching a lot of curb lately. I don't know
rewatching it. You know, my parking spot's not working.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Your parking spot's not working. Yeah, the charger.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
I have a charging parking spot downstairs. I have an
electric vehicle, and so they gave me one of the
parking spots that has an electric charger. And I recently
loaned the key card to the charge right to them,
and I loaned one to another person in the building,
and now it's not working. It was working before I
let him borrow my parking spot, and now it's not
working the actual electric charger.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Could he have drained it by using it too much?

Speaker 5 (06:59):
Can happen.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Plucked into electricity? They don't drain.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Did he lock you out by using his car? And
then you can.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Looks like it's not even powered on, there's no power
to it. It looks like was.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
He using this spot? Still? Like is he getting powered
to his car?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I don't know. I have to ask him. I'll also
ask him, what are you.

Speaker 11 (07:20):
When I was four three my FM nineties to now
in Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Five fifty it's Valentine in the morning. This is one
of four three my event. Good morning to you?

Speaker 6 (07:31):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
What was the new fire again.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
That started to wards that one of Valley Riverside County?

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Is that bothering you? A all out there?

Speaker 4 (07:38):
It's close enough to pay attention to to pay attention,
but any smoke or anything for it smoke.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
You could hear the helicopters all night. The fire close
close enough.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Let me give your heads up. If you hear the
helicopters and the fire engines going past your house, you
might want to check. That could be kind of close.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
Yeah, we were watching you know, the watch duty app right,
Oh that thing?

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, but it was okay. Like what does watch duty
do when there's nothing going on?

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Because they have like reporters and stuff they use, and
some reporters are like in the area and some are
actually out of the country just monitor radio frequencies and
they just know what to listen for. I guess, But
I mean when there's no fires that Watch duty guys
like do do do do? But maybe that's inherently about it,
Like watch duty, he's on watch nothing's happening. They just
listen to the radio stand by, all right, they're just

(08:27):
walking back and forth in their house, like the guy
on the wall, you know, or like back in Game
of Thrones when they stood on that big wall of
ice they just watched they're on watch duty. Do you
guys give any money to them? I did not know.
I feel like I should. It's a charity, right if
five one C three or something like that smart dude
that made that thing. Yeah wow.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
And they're so accurate and they're so fast.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, no, they are, and they're listening and they tie
in with everything else for the like evacuation stuff, it's
really really good. They do a good job.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
And the way that they separate all of the evacuation
zones and all of that, Like it's so like I
don't know, so I don't understand it, but it's so quick.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Hey, you're renting your place?

Speaker 5 (09:07):
I want to.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I want to. Yes, Jill and I were talking about
this before, about how she wants to rent her place.
Be like, wouldn't it be great if when to somebody needs
a home who's been evacuated. But you're in Santa Creitas,
So I don't know if anybody from the Palisades or from
the Eating Fire Right wants or needs a place in
Santa Crita, but you never know.

Speaker 5 (09:23):
You never know. It's far, but it's not too bad.
But what I would love to be able to do
is keep all the furniture there and keep it fully
furnished for someone lost. I love that. I don't even
know where to begin to look for someone.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
There must be like if somebody knows of a Facebook
place or something where she could advertise, like, hey, you know,
I've got a place for rent. Because she moved to Riverside,
she still has her place or town home? How many veterrooms?

Speaker 5 (09:47):
Three bedrooms?

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Does it come with the cats?

Speaker 4 (09:49):
The cats are gonna come with me unless you want
a cat. I feel like my two cats would be
so much happier in Santa Clarita at that that's all
they've known their entire life.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Your god, you get to rent your town home and
say two cats included. If they want you immediately get pets.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
Well, I feel like it'd be better for the cats.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
It'd be so much better on their anxiety and the
little nervous.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
And he's giving away your cats to somebody.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
No, I will come. I'll take care of bet bills,
I will take care of food.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
So are you gonna come?

Speaker 5 (10:18):
Someone I would hope.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
So, so then you come visit these people at rent
in your home like a Tuesday like you have.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
I would drop off some cat food to see the cat.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
How are the cat's doing. That's a little weird.

Speaker 5 (10:28):
I mean, first and foremost, I want them to come
with me.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
I'm very nervous about That's why it hasn't happened yet,
because I want to be there with them, like non stop,
twenty four seven for like a week when they come over,
because I'm so worried about them making the transition. And
then my husband has a dog, and I'm worried about
how all of them are going to live together. So
I'm just like avoid.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
What can I tell you something? Yes, God, big mistake?

Speaker 5 (10:53):
What getting married?

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Well? No, not that.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Wow, she's very dramatic.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
But you're not far off. You know, like people who
have interfaith like marriages, or people who want kids and
one doesn't want the kids. These are things you should
have talked about before you get married.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Oh we did, and it was all about let's bring
the cats. Everybody will live, will be the Brady bunch.
You know, it's gonna be one happy family. But my cats.
If you've listened to the show for any period of time.
You've heard me talk about my cat fifteen minutes.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
They're weird cats.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
They are so weird weird. Animals make them.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
No, animals reflect their keepers, their owners, their caregivers. They listen,
they really do. People say the cat looks like the
person or the dog looks like the person. Right, yes,
not cat. No, I'm telling you John for cocoa, I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
No, I was tricked and my cat, Lacey, was completely feral,
and she was not like she's like what wild?

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Right?

Speaker 2 (11:51):
But she's wild.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
She's a wild cat.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Open the back doors.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
No, I can't, No, No.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
I can't do that.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Okay, moving up.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Okay, So Lacey comes into the house. Then I'm told
cats need to be in two's get another cat that'll
help Lacey become more like accustomed to being inside a home.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
So then I get Bradley. Bradley learned everything he knows
from Lacey. So now these two are just weird.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Get along.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
No, not right now.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
For a very long time, but the pandemic just it
ruined us, all the three of us, like.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Your cat spent too much time.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
Together, we all spent too much time together.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
The three cats have spent the exact amount of time together.
A pandemic or not. You realize that they've been living
in that house like a pandemic doesn't matter to a cat.
And you know the problem was you. You spent more time.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
You were right this whole time.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
I figured it out.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Man, it's you.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
But listen, if somebody knows of an evacuum or something
that needs a home, reach out to Jill. I guess
you slide into her DMS or something, yes, or let
us know if there's a Facebook group where you can advertise, like, hey,
I got a place fully furnished. How many better?

Speaker 5 (13:00):
Three?

Speaker 1 (13:00):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (13:01):
One is the cat half good judgment?

Speaker 5 (13:04):
Oh no, I have good tay.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I got a Teams invite for a meeting today, right,
and it shows the invitees for this meeting only in radio.
I mean, I'd love you to open up. If you
guys have Teams. It's Microsoft product and it, you know,
helps you interact with your office workers and stuff like that,
your co workers. And I'm just looking down. Only in
radio it has the invitees that will be coming to

(13:30):
this meeting. And I looked at it and goes, yeall,
I'm joined by Booker Brody, Courtney, Crash, Cubby, Dusty, e
J G, Whiz g Rod, Mojo Rovers, Stitches will be there,
Trey Renee Chili is gonna be there, Big Bobby Bailey
will be there. Bob Big will be there.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
Not the same person, different people, I.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
Guess, Oh my god, Whiz, yeah wiz, what are you
doing here? Gee whiz?

Speaker 2 (14:00):
That's good?

Speaker 1 (14:01):
What if he opens the show like, Hi, how are you?
I'm ge whiz whiz what are you doing?

Speaker 5 (14:06):
I've always wanted a cooler name because I'm just.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Pop Dog DJ pop Dog on the mic. Oh my god.
Oh that's a dirty name. How can they work that one?
And somebody must miss that. Flying Brian is going to
be there. Beyonce Fox will be there, and then Eddie
Fox I don't know if there are any relationship, and
Lisa Fox not invited. So the entire Fox family out there,
Spencer Graves, Billy Greenwood, just Jenny James, they call her

(14:34):
jj jj uh yeah. A list of all these people.
That's so funny, that's great, and they're just like classic
radio names, you know, God, but I mean then you oh,
Uncle Nasty is showing up too, yeah, yeah, yeah, Oh
my god, Oh my God, you know who's going to
be there at this meeting today? I'm reading like, who's

(14:56):
the invitees on some teams meeting? Last name is on
what og? Really there's another ONNG in our company, no way,
and her first name is one of your favorite things
Disney Cat Cat Catong.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Oh my gosh, I want to look her up.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Yeah, look her up. Froggy Radio will be there. This
is like these names just don't stop. Oh my god.
Of course my name is Valentine. So what am I saying?

Speaker 9 (15:25):
Right?

Speaker 12 (15:25):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (15:25):
But it's so good there.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
She is Catong?

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Is she Chinese?

Speaker 5 (15:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
She's also one of over two hundred million ONGs in
the world.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
WHOA right, Okay, let.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Me see that. Just open your eyes are everywhere list,
it's very long. Somebody named Bulletproof DJ. What's what's he had?
The name is sell Bulletproof for what's going on there? Yes,
all those people in the meeting today, I'll shout out
to uh those folks who we're Cato yet Cato. I'm
at your sister.

Speaker 5 (15:55):
Uncle Nasty from he's really sticking with me there.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
This guy years ago here in LA Radio who worked
at KISS when I was over there. Uh, or he
might have been before me, so I never actually interacted
with him. His name was a nasty Man. Do you
know that guy? Right, nasty Man. Here's a guy from
like he was from Guam or something like that, right,
and it was it was weird, like there was a
point where they wanted just people with different accents or

(16:21):
had some like colorful backgrounds. Are the nasty man? Like,
it's a kiss with him. You don't need someone on
the here call themselves the nasty man. Hey, driving those
kids over to school, you get the nasty man? Like,
what is the hats man? Then it was Magic Matt,
Magic Matt back and he's still around. He's a cigar show.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
I guess there were several Magic Mats, I think, but
the real one, the one like yeah yeah, yah.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. He was Uh, he was there
a couple of times. Then uh, Billy Burke was a
friend of mine. He was there. It's like Jojo who
does afternoons over there. Now him and I are friends
and we're the only ones who have like survived over
all those years, you know, who are still still standing?

Speaker 5 (17:01):
Were you just Valentine and kid Valentine?

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Oh no, I was never kid Valentine here.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
No, but in your radio career, No, no, you know
my names, there was a magic.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
I read all of my names to All those names
I read to you were just actually my old name.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
It was original Magic Mike.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
No, he's not lying. So when the Magic Mike movie
came out, I don't know whatever that was. But as
a young man, I used to listen to tapes of
Distack's across country. I'm sorry, guys, this is maybe not
fascinating to you listening. I apologize, but I listened to
guys all across the country, and Magic Matt was one
of the guys listened to. So in Groton, Connecticut in
nineteen years like eighty nine, nineteen ninety, I called myself

(17:42):
Magic Mike, Magic Mike Thomas, Magic Mike right right, there
was a generic name you could think of, right, Yeah,
that's cool. I was Magic Mike Thomas. I was Scottie Boston.
I was Big Sean Saint John. Right, that's right John
on some oldies show. I thought like a voice with
that too, like well, I tried, I would assume, but
it was like Big Seawan Saint John, I sound like you,

(18:05):
but I had to pretend, and you're doing like the
oldiest radio Like I remember when this came out in

Speaker 5 (18:24):
Never nasty man?

Speaker 1 (18:25):

Speaker 5 (19:15):
Oh yeah. Thanks guys.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
You gotta do it now.

Speaker 11 (19:19):
Yes, from sedan's and SUV's to full size trucks experience
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified racings.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
You need to know right now.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Six twenty three, it's Valentine in the morning. This is
one of four to three MYFM. The National Weather Service
has extended its red flag warning for Los Angeles Ventura
County till tomorrow night. It is possible that the powerful
winds could continue till Friday. Lasted a brush fire broke
out in Riverside County in Harupa Valley. Groups about forty acres.
Firefighters were able to quickly gain control of it. It
is about fifty percent contained. Thank goodness. On that thousands

(19:56):
of Costco workers could be going on striking a few
weeks see Costco. It's gotta be big, so you know nice.
The union representing about eighteen thousand Costco employees says strike
will happen if a contract agreements not met. That could
mean your local Costco might be short staffed or temporarily
closed starting next month. John's trending well.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Lady Guy got.

Speaker 6 (20:18):
Teasing something pretty big here. Her website features this mysterious countdown.
Now it's supposed to hit zero on January twenty seventh.
There's no immediately evident particular reason for that date or
what it might be, but sources are telling TMZ that
that's the countdown for her official announcement for her seventh album,
So we'll have to see next week.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
I'm John Camuci. That's what's trending on.

Speaker 1 (20:35):

only open for the next fifteen minutes. Ask us anything.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Wake up to the.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
One A four to three mi FM. It is Valentine
in the morning six twenty seven, gonna do a round
of ask us anything. You see this on Instagram quite
a bit. A lot of influencers do some of its
rig to be honest, Uh, what do you use for
your face? Oh my god, it's amazing you ask the
face scream that I'm working with on the side. Oh
my gosh, So ask us anything, Brian, you're in charge, buddy.

(21:32):
What do you got from the text? Ligne three one
oh four to three reach out?

Speaker 2 (21:34):
This comes from the nine for nine. It is for you, jail.
It says we are trying to have a baby like you.
What tricks like legs up after do you guys use?

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Well, that was something my mom told me, as your.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Mom told you that too.

Speaker 5 (21:56):
Well, she just.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Said your legs in the air something.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Put your legs up for gravity.

Speaker 12 (22:01):
I got.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Gravity.

Speaker 5 (22:04):
I haven't done that.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
I've tried it a couple of times, just like, well,
let's let's see if this works.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
So wait, so to be blunt, things are done, and
then you just lay on the bed.

Speaker 5 (22:17):
And put my legs up on the wall and.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Put your legs up in the wall like you're doing
to stretch or something.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
And that's supposed to be I don't know what it's
supposed to do. So my mom said to try it.
I was like, okay, I'll try it gravity. So that's
other than that. Really, no other tricks, Okay, yeah, that's
all we've tried.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Well, she's tried the legs up to there. Yeah, yeah,
it is ask us anything, three one oh four to three.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four
to three.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Alright, six thirty sixty weather today, sunny, warm, temps in
the seventies, forty s evens forty five an high. There's
a chance and a strong chance of rain coming this weekend.
It's not gonna be incredible drenching rain, but yeah, rain
come this weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday possible. Jill's got the
entertiment headlights.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
Coming on up.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
Nominations for the Razzie Awards have been announced, and these
are the picks for the worst films of the past year.
I'll tell you who's nominated. Come up A six fifty.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
I'm gonna play a song in a second here and
one of the young ladies in the group at the time,
Brian just cannot stand that I touched her. Cannot stand
that I have hugged this woman, even though I hugged
her a long time ago. He looks the picture of
this lady hugging me and just loses his mind every

(23:31):
time I show.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Him that's all accurate.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Yeah, it's a daily base. I go, all right, so
ask us anything reach out three one oh four three
three one oh four three.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Okay. Do you guys share salary information with each other?

Speaker 1 (23:44):
No, No, I wouldn't be opposed to it. But I
think I, like even in radio, wouldn't opposed to it
because I know there's a big disparity peoples salaries and
stuff like that. But I do share tips and tricks
I've learned over the years of what to do because
sometimes the radio we're presented with contracts and that may
say like, oh, that sounds kind of cool and stuff.
It's not as cool as you think. But I do

(24:06):
share some tips and tricks with the people on my
show that I've learned over the years. They don't always
use them.

Speaker 5 (24:14):
Yeah, some things I don't.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Some people don't want to ask for certain things.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
You can ask for more.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Here's the thing in life, will tell you if you
don't ask for it, you're not going to get it.
So you can guarantee you're not going to get it.
You know, I'll ask for it. If you ask for it.
The worst thing they can say is you're not going
to get it. You weren't going to get it anyway.
So I ask for it. Ask for what you want
in life. It's way too short. It is fleeting. I
was at Memory Carre yesterday my mom. Three people dead.
Three people that I knew when Mom had moved in
had passed away in recent times. So it goes by

(24:45):
it not to get dark, goes by in a blink.
If you want something in life, ask for it, and
if you don't get it, you weren't going to get
it anyway. What's you know? Yeah, you miss one hundred
percent of the shots you never take.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Joe asked for that driver again.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
To the other drive. Thought John Peak would give her
a driver to drive in from RIVERSID.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Valentine. Yeah, as an extreme helicopter parent, are you going
to lose your mind when Colin goes to college?

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Oh, an extreme helicopter parent, that's not alright? Yeah, in
some certain degree, yes, probably because I love my kids
so much, and he knows I'm a helicopter parent. Everybody
knows I'm a helicopter parent. We just have one child
that was a struggle because we did IVF and I

(25:31):
just I love him so much that yeah, probably I'll
have to find out who I am again, Leilani and
I will find out who we are together and stuff,
because I just love that kids so much.

Speaker 11 (25:41):
Man.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
You know, when was the.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Last time two of you were mad at each other?
And how did you work it out?

Speaker 1 (25:50):
Go ahead, guys, you got something?

Speaker 5 (25:52):
No, And I remember, we just.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Tend to bury our feelings deep down inside. We're talking
about the other person behind their back or something like that.
You know, maybe mad is too extreme?

Speaker 2 (26:02):
What about Noidat Oh yes, yesterday, yeah, well yes, his
space case over here he is owned out.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah, he zoned out yesterday, like during an important part
of the show. And I was like, I was mad
him for a second of that.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
I got met at you a little bit yesterday. What
I do critiquing how I wash my hands? And I
told people, now the building, stopping people, he stops Woody
in the hall, he stops all these you know, he
just barely does a little bird bath or whatever you said.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
Anyway, he didn't wash his hands. We both went in
there and Pete together, and I did it like I
washed my hands like I'm a cardiothoracic surgeon. I'm like
up and down, I'm seeing eighteen happy birthdays. I look
over Brian and it looked like he graced the Holy
Water fonts as he's going into church.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
You're a little bit extra in the bath.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
No, you said it's just a little tinkle, so I
do a sprinkle.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
It's true.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
His exact phrase. He goes, it's a tinkle, So I
just do a sprinkle. Yes, and you shake hands with
his guys. Tinkle a sprinkle his words. I did not
make that up til big boy Ellen. We're telling everybody
in the hallway. Yeah, okay, John is Olivia, Okay.

Speaker 6 (27:06):
With all the female attention you receive, it's really like
not that much female attention, Like it really isn't and
it's mostly like moms, you know.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
So it's it's fun.

Speaker 6 (27:15):
But like I think it probably is something we had
to discuss a little bit like going into it, because
it still is an interesting level of attention that like
I feel like most relationships don't deal.

Speaker 2 (27:24):
With, you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (27:25):
So I think we had to kind of just go
over what I had to provide to make her feel
safe and comfortable. And I think once we cleared that up,
like it's it's been pretty smooth saling.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
Well, obviously you're on the radio too, so there's a
different bit of attention that, like you said, wouldn't be
an anordinary relationship. But I can name like eight girls
in here that would marry you tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (27:43):
Well, I can name eight guys that would easily go
for Olivia right now too. So I feel like we
both not have to come to it good to.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Know who in the room has the best love life.
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (27:58):
I don't know how often.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Well, that's what we're asking, That's why I don't But
what do we mean by love life?

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Like tickles throws a passionate take that camera somewhere else,
I feel like with John, Yeah, like trying to have
a baby sometimes becomes like it feels like it's mechanical sometimes.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Like Okay, get in here, Jeff, now we need it.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Now, I've got my check, my temp let's go.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
No, No, we're not at that point yet.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Well, I think we've answered that question. Gratulations.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
When was the last time you guys got in trouble
with your boss?

Speaker 1 (28:36):
I don't peaks. Sometimes I don't get that much trouble
with him. There's one time he SATs down in here
to get all mad. You've seen his little face to
look like a little like a little cherub, a little
angry angel.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Today this week at you well at the show, but
me included. He told us about it. Remember that time
we whispered on the air the other day. It was
like a s m R.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Yeah, yeah, that was are you listen? Yeah? Heet mad
about that.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
He said that it was like considered dead air and
like alarms we're going to go off because you couldn't hear.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Or whatever.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Okay, have you ever embarrassed yourself during a celebrity interview?

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Yes, yes, yes, countless times countless. I mean the Jewel
One comes to mind. What else have I done? I've
done jel one, the Jewel One. She came in and
we're talking about Christmas one time, and I said, you
should do a Christmas album like that. I think you'd
be really good at that. She's like, I have the
number one selling Christmas album of all time at that moment,

(29:35):
and like, hole, I did, no doubt, Ho ho ho.
You know.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
We did an entire interview with Jared Leto and I
still to this day do not believe.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
It was really Jared Leto goes, this isn't Jared.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
Little The exact what I gave was Okay, Jared Letto,
it was him.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
It was like an hour afterwards and you were.

Speaker 5 (29:55):
Like, yeah, like Jared, I thought you guys were playing
a joke.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Right, What would you change about yourself physically?

Speaker 5 (30:04):
I hate my teeth.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
I get to say teeth too.

Speaker 5 (30:07):
I really don't like my teeth.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Yeah, my location.

Speaker 2 (30:14):
Good answer, thank you? Okay, one last one, all right,
last one?

Speaker 1 (30:16):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
What couple has the most PDA when you're out in public,
like out of.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Us or something, you're just out of us? Is the
most PDA?

Speaker 5 (30:23):
I don't think any of us really show any PDA.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
Yeah, none of us like our partners.

Speaker 6 (30:29):
Handholders and are you I noticed that recently. I'm like,
we hold hands a lot, like hop into our relationship,
and I don't see a lot of couples doing that.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Somehow, I do it sometimes with Leilani when we got
to we're going somewhere and like come on, move it.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
I hold her hand and pull Jef and I are
like we do arms around the waist a lot.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Really, yeah, I saw that.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
Yeah, we're not big pa, are you big PDA person
with your wife?

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Not really more me than her? You know, I'll start,
you know, uh, touching her. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
I don't like it too. I'd like to touch my
wife too. I mean, she's never walked up the stairs
without me doing a little toushbush of course. I mean
that is so ridiculous. Does Jeff do that to you?

Speaker 3 (31:09):
No?

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Oh, he's a gentleman.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
No it what's a toush push? Just handing around the cheek,
the smack.

Speaker 1 (31:15):
Of the tush. Okay, you see the toush in front
of and you can't resist it. You know, his sisters
are in front of You're like, gotta.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
Get in there, okay, my wife.

Speaker 1 (31:24):
Not anybody else that face Like, what's I like? You know,
not his sisters sister with an A not an e R.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Okay, I'm the.

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Only one that goes through the toush push on the
stair well.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
I've done that too, of course, to anyone, to anyone, all.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Right, maybe don't post this on socials. We'll see six
forty five. But it's one of four three, my fan,
this is balance out of the morning. Oh bright Destiny,
shouts Tom an aim. It is six forty nine. It's

(32:03):
Valentine in the morning, Wednesday, January twenty second. Did you
get my note last night for the email? He said, yeah, yeah, yes,
I set the rug date. Brian says out a note.
He goes, all right, here's what we're gonna be doing
on Tuesday's show. And I go, okay, well, I'll be
doing it on Wednesday show.

Speaker 12 (32:16):
It's good.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Oh. I laughed for hours at that. We've got money
coming up seven o'clock this morning, one thousand dollars. So
if you want that cash, you can grab that for yourself,
or listen, if you want to donate for charity or
help out some people you know in the Palisades or
eating fire. We're getting close to containment on those things, right.
I think Eating fire is very very close. Let me
just open up the watch Duty app and give you
guys a full update. Eating fire is ninety one percent contained,

(32:41):
which is great, but obviously they have a meeting usually
drops like eight o'clock in the morning when they do
meetings and stuff. And the Palisades fire right now sixty
eight percent containment, so making progress, but you know, still
going on. Then that one out there in Riverside up
by you. That one looks pretty good. They got that
under control.

Speaker 5 (32:58):
I think, yes, it's contained.

Speaker 1 (33:00):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 5 (33:00):
Yeah, thank goodness.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
How do they name these? You guys ever figure that out?

Speaker 2 (33:06):
It's usually like a geographic is it really? I think
like eating fire eating canyon?

Speaker 1 (33:12):
Right, there's a friar's fire. I think of San Diego.
That's done by San Diego. Right, Friar's fire, says.

Speaker 6 (33:18):
The name it based on the closest geographic feature or
landmark where the fire started. Really, okay, it could be
a nearby road, mountain, creek.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Lilac fire. Yeah, friars. Were there friars in the area,
like friars from like Robinhood and stuff like that. Was
there a friary? Right? Have you ever met a friar?

Speaker 2 (33:36):
No?

Speaker 1 (33:37):
You ax anymore?

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Do they friars?

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Friar is?

Speaker 2 (33:40):
I don't know. I'm picturing, like, give us a definition
of a friar.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Look it up.

Speaker 2 (33:43):
A bald guy with a robe, who's a cartoon character.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
That is not what a friar is. Did you learn
anything from your mom? Your mom is a pastor. She
might be a friar for all I know.

Speaker 5 (33:57):
I don't know a member of any certain religious orders
of men.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
One O four to three MYFM.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
There was a mini in sync reunion, just missing one
of the guys.

Speaker 5 (34:15):
I'll tell you who and where. It happened. Right off
the traffic.

Speaker 13 (34:21):
Universal City one O one northbound. The off ramp there
to Vineland Avenue is blocked because of a two car
crash in Commerce stalls car on the seven ten northbound
after Washington Boulevard over to the right shoulder, and a
signaler in Anaheim the ninety one eastbound between Brookhurst Street
and Euclid. All eastbound lanes there are closed because of
a crash and vehicle fire. Traffic is slammed from.

Speaker 12 (34:44):
Not Southern California Edison. If you're digging for any reason,
like putting in posts or planting trees, always call eight
one one first to get all utility lines marked. An
underground power line could be buried anywhere. Avoid injuries and outages.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
One O four to three my FM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
The nominations for the Razzie Awards have been announced, and
I don't know how these started, but it's basically picking
the worst films and actors and actresses of the past year.
It's voted on by more than twelve hundred movie buffs,
film critics and journalists. Up for Worst Picture, We've got Borderlands, Joker,

(35:24):
Folio Doo, Madam Webb, Megalopolis, and Reagan. And then there's
a lot of Oscar winners that made the list this
year for nominees like Walking Phoenix, Ariana de bos Kate Blanchette,
and Lady Gaga.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
And there was a.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
Mini in sync reunion at a Justin Timberlake show. J
C Chase, Lance Bass, and Chris Kirpatrick all reunited to
watch Justin on stage. But people were wondering where is
Joey Fatone. He was busy making his broad Well, not
his Broadway debut, but his debut in the Broadway Show
and Juliette so he in New York and Lance even

(36:01):
shared a photo of all the guys backstage at Justin's
show and he said, in honor of Joey's Broadway debut, tonight.

Speaker 5 (36:07):
We had a date night without him. I'm Jill with
her and tim headlines.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
You know, the Razzies started in nineteen eighty one.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
Oh, around that long.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Yeah, started way back in like nineteen eighty one. It
was just a co founded by UCLA film graduate and
film industry veterans John J. B. Wilson and mo' murphy.
The Razzie Award. It's just an annual ceremony just being
you know, comedic and funny and whatever. Yeah, it's been
around that long.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
And I think was it Sandra Bulock I think years
ago where she kind of like embraced it and went
to pick up her Razzie and.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
Then maybe the next night went and won the Oscar.
I think it was Sandra Bullet.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
Oh that's pretty funny, like embracing it and then winning
her oscar.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
Okay, was that from Miss Congeniality?

Speaker 5 (36:48):
I want to say it was for The blind Side.

Speaker 1 (36:50):
Yeah, I was.

Speaker 5 (36:51):
I was probably joking a great movie though.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
Mister Geniality.

Speaker 2 (36:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
I don't know if you get an oscar for that one.
I don't know about that Battle of Sex. I don'
want to play your calls right now eight sixty six

from people that had bad grades. What are you up
to now? Text? And three one oh four three? Oh,
so you're curious, like your kids not doing well in school?
You worried about it or something?

Speaker 2 (37:35):
All right doing?

Speaker 1 (37:36):
They're doing great. Colle's doing grade. He made Dean's List,
he got like a four point two or something like that.
It's been very good, works really hard, and very proud
of him.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
I would assume that I had the worst grades of
anyone in this room. I was, yeah, I agree, I agree,
being uh kicked out of school, but my grades weren't great.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
You know, even in college. I was get some b's
and c's and stuff. It was like I did great
in class, like oh it's music education class or music
theory class because as a musicians, so I was fine.
But then they put you in like you know, physics,
You're like wow whatever. So yeah, I wasn't like an
a's a's kid. I was more like a low A minus.
And the bees. There's a lot of bees every now
and then you grab a sea in there or something

(38:15):
like that, you get yelled at my mom and dad.
So I didn't have the best grades, and my SATs
weren't that grade either, you know. I think there were
like twelve hundred or something like that.

Speaker 5 (38:25):
So I was not a good test taker.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
No, no, that's a thing for people, right.

Speaker 5 (38:29):
I just I knew the information I studied. I knew
it all, and.

Speaker 4 (38:32):
Then I would just I could not do a test.
So I was okay with my grades bees mostly yeah, that's.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
Where I was.

Speaker 6 (38:40):
But opposite, I could always rely on the test to
save my grid. It was really you were good at
that I couldn't get to because you work at home.
It just it didn't make sense to me. But the
tests easy, really, I could. I was one of the
people that didn't really have to study and I could
walk in and it's nice. Best subject to be honest,
Physics really loved.

Speaker 2 (38:59):
I loved science was one of my biggest.

Speaker 1 (39:01):
So if I said, to nine point eight meters per
second squared, would you know what that means? Is that gravity?
That's gravity? Look at this guy, man, I think I'll
try to find They tried to working that into the song,
didn't work. Out second squared. All right, so if you
have bad grades, hey do now you do it? Okay? Three?
One four three. It's the Battle of the sexes reps

(39:24):
of the medas it was. Carlos. He lives in Corona.
He's a firefighter. Enjoy spending time with the wife and dog. Carlos,

Going to concerts with the kids. What's here for Rachel?

Speaker 1 (39:43):
What's up, Rachel?

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Here's how it works, Rachel'm gonna ask you a few questions.
Carlos j is gonna be asking you the questions. Best
out of three winds still tie the end of regulation,
we go to a not's a tough tiebreaker question. And
to start with the ladies. How many feet are in
a yard?

Speaker 8 (40:04):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Geez, how many feet in the yard?

Speaker 14 (40:09):
I want to say three?

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Well, you would be correct, three is right, Carlos.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
How many inches are in a foot?

Speaker 15 (40:20):
A twelve?

Speaker 5 (40:21):
Yes, that's right.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
I've never been more proud to be an American. These
are tough questions, guys. On what sitcom. Does Neil Patrick
Harris play a womanizing playboy named Barney Stinson?

Speaker 16 (40:36):
Oh, I have no idea.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
It's called How I Met Your Mother?

Speaker 4 (40:43):
Carlos Neil Patrick Harris played a medical prodigy in what
late eighties early nineties TV show.

Speaker 10 (40:52):
Oh Man.

Speaker 8 (40:56):
And I don't know?

Speaker 1 (40:57):
Oh my gosh, you doogie howser are? Our current score
is one to one. What does Dora the Explorer need
to say three times in order to stop Swiper the
Fox from stealing things?

Speaker 14 (41:13):
Swiper, no swiping?

Speaker 1 (41:16):
That's correct.

Speaker 4 (41:17):
And Carlos, what is the name of the monkey on
Dora the Explorer?

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Boots is right, all right?

Speaker 1 (41:25):
That means to go to ann that it's a tough
tiebreaker question to holler out your name. If you know
the answer, your name will be your buzzer. Wait until
Brian Burton finishes asking the question before you buzz in.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
What movie does everyone love except you?

Speaker 1 (41:42):
Rachel Carlos, Carlos, what's the movie everybody loves it but you?
What is it?

Speaker 10 (41:48):
Star Wars?

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Star Wars? You don't like Star Wars?

Speaker 17 (41:51):
Really, there's too many of them.

the eating fire and Palisades fire In dry conditions, However,
too much rain could possibly trigger mud slides, but experts
say heavy rain is not likely, so we're getting some.

(44:15):
It shouldn't be heavy though. In the NBA, Lakers beat
the Wizards last night Crypto dot Com Arena. A few
days ago, lebron James was in Atlanta for the College

o'clock plus right now, People who had bad grades? How
are you doing? Did you turn out? Okay? This is
all right? With the bad grades a big problem for you.
Some folks out there might not have the grades that
they'd hoped for. But how'd you do?

Speaker 2 (45:29):
What are you doing?

Speaker 8 (45:29):
Three?

Speaker 1 (45:29):
One oh four to three.

Speaker 5 (45:30):
Ali texted in and said, seize get degrees. Brother.

Speaker 4 (45:33):
I went back to school to get a certificate in
HR and I've been doing it for ten years now.

Speaker 5 (45:38):
John said, never had good grades. I run a crew of.

Speaker 4 (45:40):
Guys doing fire alarm testing and inspections on commercial buildings.
And then Emily said, I never had good grades and
I work as a scheduler for an imaging center.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
Hey, what's the old joke the guy that graduated last
out of medical school? You know what they call him
doctor nice.

Speaker 5 (45:55):
Yeah, that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
Yeah. Thanks, all right.

Speaker 1 (46:01):
So you have back grades? How you do three? One
oh four three? It is Valentine in the morning, Serbia,
one of four to three, my fam, it is Valentine.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
In the morning. You had bad grades? How you doing now?

Speaker 1 (46:20):
I've got a radio show. My grades weren't the worst,
they were not the best, but two sisters were smarter
than me. Cameron, how are you today? Hey? Cam, Cameron,
you there, Cameron Glendora, Cameron, Hi, Hi, can you hear me?
Can you hear me? Now?

Speaker 10 (46:37):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (46:37):
I just better or worse?

Speaker 1 (46:39):
Is this better or worse?

Speaker 7 (46:40):
Oh? You've been find the whole time. The service in
this building is, I know how.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
We all learn our own buildings and stuff and parking garages. Oh,
you can't call from here or there or whatever. So
you had bad grades? How bad were your grades?

Speaker 7 (46:54):
So high school maintained like two?

Speaker 12 (46:57):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (46:58):
All right?

Speaker 7 (46:58):
Yeah, rad was no difference, okay? And then currently in
dental school, I've about a three point zero. You're three
point zero?

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (47:10):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (47:10):
I mean, you know, do you need grades for the teeth?
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (47:14):
I don't know, dude, do you need great grades for
the teeth.

Speaker 7 (47:16):
I think so well, so you know it well depends
if you want to as a general let's just not
really you need to graduate, which has been my.

Speaker 1 (47:25):
Goal your dentistry office, man, grades just graduated.

Speaker 7 (47:33):
You know when the last time you went to the
dentist and ask, hey, what'd you get in dental school
for your grade?

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Well, if I come to you, I'm probably gonna ask.
But yeah, you're right, Okay, so we assume your dentist graduate.
Like I said, the doctor that graduates last in class
is still call him doctor.

Speaker 5 (47:46):
Yeah, I think it'd be more handsome.

Speaker 7 (47:48):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:50):
So for specialty though, you'd need better grades, you think, uh.

Speaker 7 (47:54):
Yeah, because you still have to apply for a specialty
program and residency and things like that. So they still
care about the rates. But as far as being a doctor,
I mean, all my patients are happy with me.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
You're general dentistry. Okay, So you're just gonna you graduate
and then you're a dentist and you open up your
own practice or you go work for somebody. What do
you do.

Speaker 7 (48:11):
I'll probably work in what's called public dentistry, right, basically,
go work for the government for a little bit.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
And They don't ask about the greats.

Speaker 7 (48:19):
No, not really. They care more about your experience. So
it's it's I don't do well on tests.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Yeah, some people like that.

Speaker 7 (48:28):
Yeah, but as far as like my hands on skills,
I've always been really good working with my hands, so
I excel better in that.

Speaker 1 (48:35):
In that regard, have you ever seen a dentist flaws?
Wouldn't that be a funny video, like, Hi, I'm a dentist.
Then they do that dance the flossing literal very funny.
You should do that. You should be like a TikTok star.

Speaker 7 (48:49):
Oh I'm not big on social media.

Speaker 1 (48:50):
Actually, okay, listen, I'm trying to help you out in
your practice to the best I can.

Speaker 2 (48:54):
I can't.

Speaker 1 (48:55):
Thanks for calling in. Good luck with everything.

Speaker 7 (48:56):
Okay, Hey, thanks you guys. Good to talk to you.

Speaker 1 (48:59):
Nice chat with you. Thank you very much.

Speaker 4 (49:00):
It brings up such a good point though, with all
of these occupations, you're never asking anybody, hey, what did
you get in school?

Speaker 12 (49:06):
Dude?

Speaker 2 (49:07):
I still haven't even been asked once for my degree.
I've applied to so many jobs and they're like, yeah,
do you have a degree? A degree? And I say yeah,
I'm not like Okay, cool, what jobs are you applying
to it?

Speaker 1 (49:15):
Yeah? What are you applying to? Any jobs?

Speaker 2 (49:17):
When I graduated, I applied to this one. I applied
to a few others too.

Speaker 1 (49:20):
And oh No, one in radio asked if you have
a degree. Nobody cares. No, they might ask in a
curiosity being politeness. Yeah, but you know I don't have
a degree, but still know a few hours shure.

Speaker 6 (49:29):
It's weird that less people check than you think. Right,
Everyone asks if you have one, but like not a
lot of people knowing really checks. So you saying, just
print something up, put on the wall. Just like, what
did I do for five years? You know?

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Yale?

Speaker 1 (49:40):
Yeah, Yale dentistry? Really, John, you went to Yale dentistry.

Speaker 15 (49:43):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four
to three. All right, weather today, sunny, warm, temps mostly
in the seventies. Forty six Corona, fifty one Compton. Jiell's
got the entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 4 (49:56):
It's confirmed, it's happening. We now have a release date
for Sonic the Hedgehog four.

Speaker 5 (50:02):
I'll tell you what it is, fifteen.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Thank God, thank you for that. I've been wondering and
I'm just I'm now did you like the third?

Speaker 4 (50:10):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (50:10):
Are you being sarcastic? I really believed you.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
Timmy, good morning?

Speaker 2 (50:16):
How are you Tim good?

Speaker 1 (50:18):
How are you doing a right? Teams? In the six
six one? Santa Clarita? Did you have bad grades back
in school?

Speaker 7 (50:23):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (50:23):
Yes, you did? How bad?

Speaker 10 (50:24):
In high school? I graduated with a one point eight?

Speaker 1 (50:27):
Wow? What is that? Is it a D or something? Oh?

Speaker 9 (50:32):
So we had electives? I had it was abcd fff.
So I had three electives. I just decided not to
do anything with those. My A was in golf, B
was in guitar, and then the C and D were
passable for the science and math.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
I think they just wanted to get you out of there.
All right, So you bad, bad grades? Now what do
you do? How are you successful?

Speaker 18 (50:58):
Now?

Speaker 9 (50:59):
I'm a project manager for a live music company.

Speaker 7 (51:03):
They put on concerts.

Speaker 1 (51:05):
Okay, so you found your niece, You found what you like?

Speaker 9 (51:09):
Yeah, because when I went to college, I went to
college for audio engineering, so I got all a's for that.
But in high school I just didn't care. And I
actually when the teacher gave out the syllabus with all
of the rankings for how much is what part of
your grade. I would highlight the assignments I needed to
do and then cross out the ones they didn't need

(51:31):
to do and just skip those.

Speaker 1 (51:32):
Yeah, you just didn't care at all. So what was
if you could just do quick things. We can't take
too much time of this, But what do you think
it was going on in your life mentally and stuff
that you just checked out and didn't want to do
any of that stuff was a lack of interest. Did
you have other things you wanted to do? What was
happening in your life?

Speaker 9 (51:47):
Well, at the time, I just wanted to hang out
with friends. Like I was on the golf team.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
I played golf.

Speaker 1 (51:53):
Yeah, just do that.

Speaker 9 (51:55):
I was volunteering at the church doing sound and trying
to work at like small clubs doing sounds. So I
was just kind of like, I was like, I don't
care anything about this general.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
Right, You just went into that. It's funny how like
certain things are passions in life find a way to
the rise to the surface, so to speak, you know,
And you weren't into the physics. You went into the math,
you went into the bio, all those things, but you
found a passion for yourself and you celebrated that and you. Uh,
now you have your place in this world. Yeah, that's awesome, dude. Congratulations.

Speaker 9 (52:26):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (52:27):
Yeah, still kids study, Yeah, like we might do it. Yeah,
we might be given the wrong message here.

Speaker 6 (52:34):
But don't get this couraged if it's hard, because sometimes
the education system isn't always the best measure of success
and intelligence.

Speaker 2 (52:40):
Sometimes that shows up and you find something.

Speaker 6 (52:42):
You're interested and through creativity and problem solving that can
come in other ways.

Speaker 2 (52:46):
Preach fit all that into test. Sometimes you look at.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
That right there, that's coming from somebody that obviously got
these all right, Justin beibergoes this one O four three mi,
fam this is the tide in the morning, seven forty one.
It's balance out in the morning. Yes, if you get

(53:09):
bad grades.

Speaker 15 (53:10):

Speaker 17 (53:11):
Yeah, how bad was he able to maintain a DC average?

Speaker 10 (53:14):
Fat?

Speaker 17 (53:15):
It feels a great day.

Speaker 1 (53:16):
Yeah that's pretty bad, dear c. Yeah, so what do
you do now?

Speaker 15 (53:20):
Right now?

Speaker 17 (53:20):
I'm the executiveship of a rooftop and in a hotel
in Hollywood.

Speaker 1 (53:24):
See you look at that, man, Yeah.

Speaker 17 (53:26):
It's based on all the hard work.

Speaker 10 (53:27):
I mean I did a lot.

Speaker 17 (53:28):
Of a lot of hard work for the past seventeen years.

Speaker 1 (53:30):
Yet here, good for you.

Speaker 17 (53:32):
Why I've been good, you know, working with my hands.

Speaker 1 (53:35):
So yeah, that dentist guy was good at working with
his hands too.

Speaker 8 (53:39):
I know.

Speaker 5 (53:40):
Do you have a signature dish?

Speaker 17 (53:42):
No, not really mean to kind of just do a
little bit of everything, you know. And I've been in
the industry for seventeen years, so it's kind of it's
always that's always a question, but you know, it's kind
of hard to pinpoint, you know, what's your main dish.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
Well, if you were making something for someone you loved,
someone you care about on this Valentine's Day that's coming
up next month, what dish would you make for the
love of your life?

Speaker 17 (54:08):
They'll be my wife, which is my pesto alfredo.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
Oh, my friend, you just found your signature dish. Yeah,
work that pasta.

Speaker 5 (54:17):
With your hands.

a intervention teacher. Say hi girls.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
So how old are those girls, Rebecca?

Speaker 15 (56:35):
They're in second grade?

Speaker 1 (56:36):
Oh wow, Oh this sounds so cute too.

Speaker 15 (56:38):
Okay, yeah, they're one of my I'm an intervention teacher
and they're like a little group of five in here
right now. But my happy news is that my eight
year old son, who is on the spectrum, finally is
able to swim and hold himself up and doggy paddle
in the deep end. And it's been an over a
year that he's been a swim lessons and he's finally
able to do it.

Speaker 1 (56:56):
Oh that's great.

Speaker 15 (56:57):
He's finally able to dog you paddle and he's not
stared be in the pool anymore.

Speaker 1 (57:01):
So that's a.

Speaker 15 (57:01):
Big blowth too.

Speaker 1 (57:02):
Well, So happy you shared that with us, Thank you.
So can you educate it? So what an intervention teacher is?

Speaker 15 (57:08):
It's a small group where it's kids who need a
little bit extra support who aren't completely on grade level yet,
and my focus on reading and write and spelling so
that they can get up and be the grade level
that they need to be in.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
God, you know, it's so funny. I wonder, like at
my age and Jill's agent, John's and stuff, if they
tested us right now, if they tested us, what age
group would we come in at? Oh you know, what
level would we come in at?

Speaker 15 (57:34):
It depends on how fast of a reader you are, too,
because I can tell you that by the time you
leave fifth grade, you should be reading at about one
hundred and fifteen words a minute. You can test yourself
that way. If you're not reading one hundred and fifteen
words in a minute. Then you're probably at a fifth
grade level or bullet you know.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
I was really just kind of joking a little bit,
But now you've got us wondering.

Speaker 5 (57:54):
Yeah, I want to test all of us.

Speaker 15 (57:56):
Yeah, you just said a timer for a minute out
of the text, and you see how fast you can
do it.

Speaker 1 (58:03):
Yeah, all right, we're gonna do it. Lady Gaga is
our innovator. She's up for the Innovator Award at the
Iheartradiu Music Awards will be presenting to her. I've been

(58:25):
asked to come out of stage and present her with
the award. I mean, you did you imagine?

Speaker 2 (58:32):
Could you imagine?

Speaker 1 (58:34):
No, there's no way on God screen Earth that would
have me come out and step'd be the funniest thing ever.
You'd see like Secrets and Bobby Bones be like oh
they were like the guy from Home Improvement, you know,
like what, oh no, that's shaggy whatever, the same thing. Right.
But there's some voting going on right now, by.

Speaker 6 (58:53):
The way, one fourth three my fi dot Com slash
Awards to cast your vote for a ton of the
awards I'm gonna be given out on that night.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
Zatoh five. Battle of Sex is coming up next. How
you guys doing you want to check in with us,
We'd love to hear how you're doing this morning. Three
one oh four three text line comes right into our
studio down one four three, My family, It is Valence

(59:20):
out in the morning. It is eighth eights coming up
later on this hour. What part of your day would
you like to sever so you don't have to experience it?
You can text in a three one oh four three.

Speaker 2 (59:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (59:30):
Severance is the big show right now where you can.
It's essentially about the ultimate work life balance. Right you
show up at work and there's a chip in your brain,
and then work you takes over, so then you know
nothing about your home life. And then when you leave work,
your home life takes back up and in the show.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
And you forget about work, which is a great part,
Like you don't have the worries of work, the stress
of work when you go home. The idea is to
not take the job home with you, but when you're
at work, you have no other memories of home or
anything else, so you're concentrating specifically just on your job.
So there's a.

Speaker 2 (59:58):
Point in the show not to spoiler.

Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
Don't worry where someone severs the process of giving birth,
so she didn't have to deal with that.

Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
So then she just comes back and never had to
deal with any of that pain. So then it got
me thinking, what part of your life would you sever for?
What part of life do.

Speaker 6 (01:00:14):
You not want anything to do with if you could
skip right over it and have a different version of
yourself take over handle it, and then you're done.

Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
The job gets done and stuff, but you never have
to think about it.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
Like for me, I don't want to spend a moment cooking.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
Really, I love to show up to the kitchen.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
I don't even want to open the frames. I just
want to boom.

Speaker 6 (01:00:30):
It takes over and then all of a sudden, dinner's done.
I hate cooking. It's the most tedious process.

Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
Maybe going to the gym or something that's going I
don't go anyway, So my sever itself. You're like, well,
it never really goes. That'd be good, I know what
my wife would say. But what about uh, what about.

Speaker 4 (01:00:50):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
You don't know?

Speaker 2 (01:00:51):
Okay, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:00:52):
Maybe it's laundry. She's like doing laundry, you know, j
it's laundry. It's not fun, you know. And then my
response is never good. Well, this is gonna sound bad.
And I learned my lesson very early on in my marriage. Yeah,
I'm like, babe and the machine. Does it all sound
like you're down by your river with the rocks. That's
apparently not the right answer.

Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
Yeah, you know you know that now, So that's good.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Yeah, but every now and then you're still trying to
seek it in no colonial times, I had to spin
their on your ard whatever was yours, probably the Monday
morning meeting that we.

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Had, John T Gosh, you know, it's very valuable. That's
why my robot sell for whatever it is.

Speaker 8 (01:01:30):
You go.

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
He checks out during that meeting.

Speaker 6 (01:01:32):
So the other version that you just has to live
that forever, just that fifteen years stuck in.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
That, right, they're stuck in that loop forever, living that right.
Oh wow, Yeah, it's a good show. You haven't seen
it all, right, So texting three one O four three,
what part of your day would you like to sever
so you don't have to experience it. But right now
it's the battle of the sexist reps in the medicine.
As Nelson, he lives in Temecula, works as a kindergarten teacher,
and enjoys painting.

Speaker 10 (01:01:57):
What's up Nelson, Hey you guys, hey.

Speaker 5 (01:02:00):
Man resenting the ladies. Her name is Lauren. She's from
Los Angeles. She works as a project manager and enjoys
trying new restaurants. Let's hear it for Lauren.

Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
Lauren?

Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
Hello?

Speaker 15 (01:02:13):
Hello morning, Hello, hello morning.

Speaker 1 (01:02:15):
Here's how it works, Lauren. I'm gonna ask you a
few questions, Nelson, Jill's gonna be asking you the questions.
Best out of three winsday. We're still tied in the regulation.
We go to anos tough tiebreaker question that has stopped
with the ladies. Here we go your first question. What
actors stars as himself in the television series Curb Your
Enthusiasm Larry David so good? Oh my god? Is the

(01:02:40):
best show ever?

Speaker 5 (01:02:41):
Nelson? Michael Jordan starred as himself in What nineties animated
and live action movie. Yes that's right.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
Current scores one to one. What song by South Korean
artist PSI was also the first music video on YouTube
to reach one billion views?

Speaker 9 (01:03:02):
Uh Gingham Sell.

Speaker 5 (01:03:07):
Nelson, V J.

Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
Hope, and RM are members of what South Korean boy band?

Speaker 10 (01:03:15):
Oh, yes that's right.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
Current scores two to two. You're both doing quite well.
What fast food company encourages you to have it your way? Uh?

Speaker 10 (01:03:31):
Burger King?

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
That is correct.

Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
And Nelson, what is the name of Burger King's signature, Hamburger?

Speaker 5 (01:03:39):
Yeah? That guys?

Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
All right, guys, all right, let's go to a not
so tough tie breaker question. Holler out your name. If
you know the answer, your name will be your buzzer.
Wait until Brian Burton finishes asking the question before you
buzz in.

Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
Who is your adult crush?

Speaker 15 (01:03:58):
No, friend, Nelson, my adult?

Speaker 10 (01:04:03):
Does that be anyone? Or it could just be like
a person I work with?

Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
Oh, I want the person you work with? Who's the
person you.

Speaker 10 (01:04:09):
Work You're a dull crush? Person I work with would
be uh Angela Nick Lowery?

Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
God, you said her last name? Are you?

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
Well?

Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
Hold on, So you're a kindergarten teacher. Is she a
teacher at the school as well?

Speaker 10 (01:04:29):
She's a reading specialist?

Speaker 1 (01:04:31):
Okay, and her name is Angela. Have you ever told
her that you have feelings for her?

Speaker 7 (01:04:35):
Uh?

Speaker 10 (01:04:35):
No, it's it's simply a crush because she's actually married,
so I wouldn't do anything.

Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
Okay. Information you should have kept in your mind before
you said that you're not married. Okay, but so crush.
If she wasn't married, you would ask her out, probably
I would. Well, all right, well, I appreciate the honesty,
and that might be used in the restraining order as well.
But no, I just don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
You win.

Speaker 1 (01:04:58):

All I can see with this guy is I don't
know the movie that titles is not coming to me.
He's standing outside the door Jill, and he's pretending that
Christmas carols are there, and he's holding up signs telling
her how he feels about her. It's like love. Actually,
that was your love actually moment right there for Angela bro.
But future reference, future reference, if a radio show ever

(01:05:43):
does this to you again, you don't have to say
the last name. Oh yeah, it's not legal.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
They don't have to.

Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
But that was a nice moment. I'm sure she's very
touched by that, very very sweet of you. All right, so, Lauren,
is you exit the stage? This moment is entirely yours.
You want to take it away?

Speaker 9 (01:06:02):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
Sure?

Speaker 14 (01:06:03):
Yeah, thanks so much for letting me play.

Speaker 1 (01:06:06):
Who is your crush? Want the shout out to?

Speaker 15 (01:06:09):
I do not have a crush on anyone that I work.

Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
Okay, all right, anybody would like to say to you
your grighthead?

Speaker 14 (01:06:19):
Uh no, TI to everyone, la I hope everyone's doing okay.

Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
You were really taking it back? Yeah, you were taking
it back by Yeah, I don't that's okay, it's okay.

Speaker 14 (01:06:32):
The first thing that popped into my mind was Joseph
Gordon Lovett.

Speaker 15 (01:06:36):
But he's he's already married.

Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Also, well did you his last name too? Now everybody knows?

Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:06:45):
Coming up in three things you need to know? I
don't know, Brian didn't hand me the sheet. What's coming up?
Three things I need to know?

Speaker 4 (01:06:55):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
A major streaming service is raising their price Netflix. I
saw that. I'm so mad. I'm so mad.

Speaker 1 (01:07:03):
No, do you know how much you're raising it?

Speaker 4 (01:07:04):
Pie?

Speaker 1 (01:07:05):
Though, We're gonna tell you that.

Speaker 11 (01:07:06):
Three things need to know from Sedan's and SUV's to
full sized trucks. Experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency
with Toyota Electrified.

Speaker 3 (01:07:14):
Three things you need.

Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
To know right now, age twenty two. It's Valencide in
the morning. This is one of four to three my family.
National Weather Service extending it's red flag warning for Los
Angeles and Ventura County till tomorrow night. It's possible powerful
winds could continue n till Friday. Less than a breashfire
broke out in Riverside County in Horupa Valley. He grew
to about forty acres. Firefighters able to contain that quickly.

(01:07:37):
It is now about fifty percent contained. Meanwhile, the Eating
Fire and Alfa Dina's at ninety one percent containment. Palisades
Fire is at sixty eight percent containment. Netflix, what are
you doing? What are you doing? Netflix? Come on, You've
got me hooked so much. I started watching a House
of Cards on Netflix yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Pretty good.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
It is good, But then I just I didn't know
if I could watch it knowing the whole Camp Spacey story.
I'm like, I don't even know what happened to it
yet it was a bad stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
It doesn't look good, Okay, I'm not someone that can
separate like the art from the artist type thing, so
I do have tough time with that. Yeah yeah, yeah,
but that show at the time, I didn't know, so
I enjoyed it, right, So I do know.

Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
I'm still enjoying it, but I try and separate it.
It's funny like with certain things like that. And maybe
it's just me or maybe it's you. Do you ever
just go yeah, whatever happened to that? I forget, like
just so many things in Hollywood and different stars and stuff,
And I don't follow the court cases and I'm not
on TMZ and I don't know. Maybe I should be,
but I just have so much more important stuff in
my life, like my wife and my kid and word
about things like that. Yeah, I don't always follow up

(01:08:41):
or hear what the end result was.

Speaker 5 (01:08:43):
A lot of times we don't hear the end results,
so it doesn't.

Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
Drive down in court is you know, agreements And I
don't know so anyway, streaming service just recorded their biggest
increase in subcribers ever, adding nineteen million more users in
twenty twenty four.

Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
Who the password crackdowns? Probably John?

Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
Maybe the time you did, Oh you poor thing. Struggle,
Paul Paul Child's horrifl in the Ghetto. So h nineteen
million more people I'm like who didn't have Netflix. So
the addition of live events like NFL games been good
for Netflix. Now they're raising their prices. The standard monthly
membership without commercials will increase from fifteen bucks a month
to eighteen three bucks more. That's a hefty increase. The

(01:09:23):
highest priced premium tier, which John probably has, includes four
K video that increases to twenty five dollars a month.
Streaming services they add up fast, all right, John, what's trending?

Speaker 15 (01:09:36):
Well?

Speaker 6 (01:09:36):

you could sever, part of your day, you could sever
much like this TV. So severance you just turn off
the work day. You don't have to worry about it.
It's all taken care of by your severed persona what
would you sever?

Speaker 5 (01:10:15):
Bathroom time?

Speaker 1 (01:10:16):
Bathroom? Tell you don't like the bathroom just.

Speaker 4 (01:10:18):
Taking so long to shower and do my hair and
going to the bathroom, Like, my little severed person will
just stay in the bathroom all the time, right, okay, yeah,
Oh I love the bathroom sometimes.

Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
It's a nice little list.

Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
Oh it's the best. If you're a parent or something
like that. Oh my god, you go sit on that
toilet and you close the door and you leave them
out there. Oh see there's kids banging out there. There's
dogs trying to sneak in all the time.

Speaker 5 (01:10:40):
Oh yeah, I don't like being in the bathroom.

Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
And I'm not I would not do well in the military, subrespects.
I'm not a fast shower taker. Oh peaceful times. Anybody
else just stand there with the hot water rolling down
their naked back. Absolutely right, it's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
You can join my join the severed Jill in the bathroom.
I don't like.

Speaker 1 (01:11:03):
Yeah, I think you're severed. Jill might have a problem
with two grown men just showering and using the potty
at the same time. All right, anyway, what's your part
of your day you'd like to sever? Text in a
three one oh four three on a fourth three, my fam,

(01:11:28):

We're trying to fix your phone. Is your phone better now, Reese,
go right ahead, Yeah, that's much better. Alright. So, Rees,
you're saying you've got a very dirty room. Yeah, yes,
and you don't want to clean it up because it's
just gonna get messy again. Yes, What do mom and
dad say? What are their exact phrase to you? What
do they say, clean up.

Speaker 14 (01:11:50):
Your room because it's messy and it needs to be clean.

Speaker 1 (01:11:54):
Well, that's the truth. Do they ever warn you of
ants or rats or anything? No, huh, But that is
a part of the day you'd like to sever cleaning
up your room? Okay, Reese, can I tell you something?
And this is just from experience. Now, I know you
probably a bunch of hoodies on your floor. You're a
teenager and you probably do a smell test before you
go to school. You sniff your clothing to see if

(01:12:15):
it's good.

Speaker 18 (01:12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
REESA have to tell you something late at night. Late
at night, when you lay your head to rest upon
that pillow and you close your eyes to the world
around you.

Speaker 19 (01:12:25):
Don't be surprised at one night by your ear you
hear the sound of a rat or a mouse that's
coming to your house because you live like a louse,
and they're ready to eat you up and tear you up.

Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
Because you have a dirty room.

Speaker 14 (01:12:46):
That isn't true. You know.

Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
It's true.

Speaker 10 (01:12:52):
Clean.

Speaker 1 (01:12:56):
Jesus wants a clean room.

Speaker 15 (01:13:00):
No, I don't want to ceme in my room.

Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
All right, Well, I've done all I can. Sorry, Mom
and Dad.

Speaker 14 (01:13:07):
Can I say hi to my mom on the radio?

Speaker 2 (01:13:10):
Yeah, go right ahead, she'll love that.

Speaker 14 (01:13:14):
Hi Mom, I'm walking to school.

Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
Oh, Race, you're walking to school right now, and.

Speaker 4 (01:13:21):
You called on your own wanted to talk to us,
And you're running a little bit late, aren't you.

Speaker 14 (01:13:26):
My belring's at eight thirty some fine, it's.

Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
I'm not sure we all right, Reese? Are you close
to the school.

Speaker 14 (01:13:35):
Yeah, I'm like two feet away from my.

Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
Class, all right, going to class, Reese.

Speaker 11 (01:13:41):
We love you, Okay, bye, I'll text to Valentine in
the morning at three one oh four to three.

Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
It is eight thirty eight. The weather today sunny, warm,
tempts in seventies fifty five Downtown La fifty six is
going to beach by the way. Maybe some rain this weekend.
It's not can be anything too heavy, but it could
be significant enough that'll help all of us, obviously, So
if you have to prepare your yard or anything for rain,
it should be coming in this weekend. Jill has the

(01:14:11):
entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 4 (01:14:12):
We know what critics think were the best movies and
TV shows at twenty twenty four, But what about us?

Speaker 5 (01:14:16):
What about the people? I'll tell you what we chose
coming up at eight fifty.

Speaker 1 (01:14:21):
Hi Jen, Hi, good morning, Hi Jen. How are you
doing today?

Speaker 14 (01:14:25):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 15 (01:14:25):
How are y'all doing?

Speaker 1 (01:14:26):
You all right? Wasn't it Reese cute? Wasn't she adorable?

Speaker 16 (01:14:28):
Adorable? I love that she was on her way to class?

Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
I know, and you know it was weird. I'm so
glad to get the class, but I felt like the
dad was about to come out in me if she
was walking to school. I'm like Reese can we stay
in the phone with you the entire time? I want
to make sure you get the school safe.

Speaker 7 (01:14:43):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Yeah, luckily they were two feet away from the classroom,
so thank goodness you state it.

Speaker 14 (01:14:48):
Yeah, yep, yep, yep.

Speaker 1 (01:14:50):
So sweet. But I understand you'd like to sever your
time with your children.

Speaker 14 (01:14:54):
I would love.

Speaker 16 (01:14:56):
I love my children, but feeding them.

Speaker 15 (01:14:59):
I I have.

Speaker 16 (01:15:00):
A two year old and a six year old.

Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
It's a battle.

Speaker 16 (01:15:03):
And my two year old used to eat everything, but
now she's like deep in the twos, and my six
year old has always sort of been no, she's always
been a very selective eater.

Speaker 7 (01:15:15):
Yea.

Speaker 16 (01:15:16):
So now I have a two year old who's a
two year old, and I have my six year old
who's doing her thing, and it's just a battle.

Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
Are you worried that this selective eating was something that
you didn't nip in the butt to begin with? I mean, like,
at some point, don't you put the food down and
go eat it. If you don't eat it, you don't
eat well.

Speaker 16 (01:15:34):
So for the six year old, she's in she's getting
support for that. She is making progress, which is great.

Speaker 15 (01:15:44):
But it used to.

Speaker 16 (01:15:45):
Be my two year old she would eat everything, so
it'd be like, yes, I have at least one one
that's just like but now it's like screaming can drumming,
like I'm going to get out of I. Yeah, but
you know I love them, right, but if we could,
if I could just skip.

Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
Past this, yeah, they'll give a point where that's Listen.
My guy's sixteen. He'll basically eat anything get put in
front him.

Speaker 9 (01:16:10):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:16:11):
Him and I love everything, and he has favorites and
stuff like that. Brian, how about your kids? How they doing.

Speaker 2 (01:16:15):
I have been through this. Yeah, I stopped trying to
fight with them, and I do kind of what you say.
I just say, this is the food. I'm going to
present it. You eat it or not present it.

Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
And i'd chicken nuggets and then the problem is they
don't eat it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
But then they want snacks, right, and it's just constant.

Speaker 16 (01:16:32):
It's a constant Oh yes, oh yes, the snacks.

Speaker 7 (01:16:36):
That's I mean.

Speaker 16 (01:16:38):
I I do appreciate that my six year old is like,
they're much more independent now and so I can be like,
all right, you're hungry, go go to the pantry get something.
So at least that is a little bit easier.

Speaker 15 (01:16:51):
But yeah, I would sever.

Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
Sever that yeah, no, you're looking forward to it. This
is actually fantasy. I'm not sure to know that, but thanks, Jed.
I appreciate you calling in.

Speaker 14 (01:17:02):
Yeah, I have a great day.

Speaker 1 (01:17:03):
You two love, take care bye. Eight six six by
four four my fam text and three one o four three.
It's based on the TV show Severance. If there's a
part of your day you could separate and have no
memory thereof, like it's done automatically.

Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
You want to separate from your life? What would it be?

Speaker 1 (01:17:20):
Dream one four three my family? It is Valentine in
the morning. Oh, by the way, did we tell him
that I'm your best straight guy friend? Wait a second, Yeah,
there was a ranking page. Good morning, how are you Paige?

Speaker 14 (01:17:38):
Good morning?

Speaker 15 (01:17:38):
I'm well, how are you good?

Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
This is really good news and it will not take
away from what you're going to talk about. But for
some reason, we got onto this recently because Jill always
says she has so many best friends, right, so then
we all get like hurt, like we want to be
your best friend because we all love Jill. So recently
Jill has announced to me that obviously Jeff, her husband,
is top dog. It should be right, yes, But then
she has another friend Joey who's gay, right, Yes, and

(01:18:01):
that's like your bestie.

Speaker 5 (01:18:02):
He's my best friend, right, But I've become.

Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
I am now labeled now as Jill's best straight guy friend.

Speaker 2 (01:18:09):
So in terms of friends, we go Joey val here.

Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
We're like tide. Him and I are tied. Brian, of course, No,
that's all you said today when I talked to earlier today, Belle.

Speaker 4 (01:18:20):
Has it in his mind that he and Joey are
sharing the podium for second.

Speaker 2 (01:18:26):
Place, second place like a big Santa chair. We're both
sitting in the.

Speaker 5 (01:18:29):
In the chair. Yeah, they are equal.

Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
What about in your mind?

Speaker 3 (01:18:33):
Yes, it's true, we're equal.

Speaker 1 (01:18:35):
Because we're equal, we're different. We're like Yan and e A.
You know, we make up that sea.

Speaker 5 (01:18:38):
Software and that's why I have so many different best friends.

Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
But nobody liked me and Joey. We like take that
second spot, so you're like third tier.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
She said, No, who's who's who else is on this list?

Speaker 1 (01:18:49):
It's just empty.

Speaker 5 (01:18:49):
It was empty.

Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
It's empty. Hi. Yeah, it's a protective barrier for me
and Joey. Is that great page when you find out
that you're somebody's best friend? Isn't that awesome?

Speaker 14 (01:18:59):
I mean it's the great a feeling right to just
know you're somebody's best friend.

Speaker 1 (01:19:02):
I would say, Jill's probably my best friend outside of
my wife.

Speaker 5 (01:19:05):
That's so great.

Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
It look at that.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
Jill's my best friend, full stop. I'm gonna put her
on a liar.

Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
I'm gonna put her over my wife and kids.

Speaker 5 (01:19:16):
So honored.

Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
All right, page, We're going to sever a moment in
your life that you don't have to remember. I don't
have to think about what would that be for you? Oh?

Speaker 14 (01:19:24):
Full stop traffic commuting to and from work. My commune
is only about fifteen miles, but it can take up
to an.

Speaker 15 (01:19:32):
Hour each way.

Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
Oh my gosh. Okay that's a lot. Yeah. Yeah, and
you're stuck in traffic the whole time. It's stop and go.
It's bumper to bumper.

Speaker 15 (01:19:40):
Yep.

Speaker 14 (01:19:40):
Every time I've started to read like audio books or
listen to audiobooks, but it's hard in the morning because
you guys are on in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
I was about to sever you.

Speaker 15 (01:19:52):
Yeah, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 1 (01:19:54):
Obviously you called it back pretty quick there, But yeah,
you can listen to audiobooks too, Sure, that's great, but
we appreciate listening to our show where you're stuck in
that traffic. Hopefully we make it a little bit better
for you always.

Speaker 14 (01:20:03):
That's exactly why I'm on the phone with you all today.

Speaker 1 (01:20:05):
Thank you. What do you do for a living?

Speaker 14 (01:20:07):
I work in higher education?

Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
Oh wow, okay, what do you do?

Speaker 14 (01:20:11):
I am the assistant vice president of Enrollment for the
University of Laverne.

Speaker 2 (01:20:16):
Wow. All right, do you guys have a soccer team?

Speaker 14 (01:20:21):
We do have a soccer team. Pretty good soccer team.

Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
You D one, two or three?

Speaker 15 (01:20:24):
We're a D three school.

Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
Can you get a kidding team? All right, so be recruited.
That's great, We're all set. That's how works, and that
works with a housewives when that lay or whatever.

Speaker 14 (01:20:37):
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:20:38):
All right, there you go, Well listen, thank you very much.
Have a great day. Hid everybody over at the school.

Speaker 14 (01:20:42):
Okay, thank you, have a good day.

Speaker 1 (01:20:45):
Ok thanks, One four.

Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
Three my FM. Here's what's coming up in entertainment head
best Friend.

Speaker 5 (01:20:51):
This was a surprise.

Speaker 4 (01:20:53):
Ryan Gosling is reportedly in talks to join the Star
Wars universe. I'll tell you all we know so far.
Right after traffic one O four to.

Speaker 18 (01:21:02):
Three my FM Entertainment headlines La La Land and Barbie
star Ryan Gosling is reportedly in talks to join the
Star Wars universe.

Speaker 4 (01:21:12):
There is a movie in the works from the director
of Deadpool and Wolverine that he's been developing since late
twenty twenty two, and this rumor is Ryan Gosling will
star in this film.

Speaker 5 (01:21:25):
That's all we know so far, So hopefully this is true.
And we know what critics think were the best movies
and TV shows of twenty twenty.

Speaker 4 (01:21:32):
Four, But what about us? What about the people really
watching these shows? This new poll was done and America's
favorite movie was The Bob, the Bob Dylan biopic Unknown.

Speaker 1 (01:21:43):
Yes, that was so great.

Speaker 5 (01:21:46):
No, I haven't seen it. Ninety nine percent.

Speaker 4 (01:21:49):
Of the people who took this poll gave it a
favorable rating.

Speaker 1 (01:21:54):
You please, nobody else? What else do you have?

Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
We got dead Pool and Wolverine was coming in at
number two, and then the Wild Robo came in third.

Speaker 3 (01:22:01):
Yee, dude, is Bob Dolan?

Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
Heee?

Speaker 9 (01:22:06):
On?

Speaker 5 (01:22:07):
The television side show Good was the most popular show.
Then the Bear came in at number two. I'm Jill
with entertyment headlines.

Speaker 1 (01:22:15):
It's my friend.

Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
Load in the wind Dance is load in the wind,
Does Timothy shollow me sound like that? The whole movie?

Speaker 15 (01:22:23):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
So good, dude, it's the best. He does such a
great job too. How many roads mos a man walk
down before you call him a man? Amazing? I tried out.

Speaker 2 (01:22:42):
I don't need to see you know?

Speaker 1 (01:22:43):
Can I tell? It's such a great movie though. What
I loved about it too, I don't know the history
of Bob Dylan as much as I'd like to the
movie itself is a snapshot in time. It's not like
over the entire career Bob Dylan. It's just over that
couple of years with the Newport Folk Festival and stuff
that he's being evolved in and his rise to fame.
So it's over a few years maybe or something like that.
But it's not like a twenty thirty year arc. You

(01:23:06):
don't see. And I don't even know Bob ever did
drugs drank? I have no idea, But you don't see
the ups and downs of an artist's career and stuff.
It's just kind of it felt like a snapshot to me,
a more microcosm of his career.

Speaker 2 (01:23:18):
And it was really good, just really really good.

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
I enjoyed it. The music is great, even if it's
not your cup of teas so to speak, they're good.

Speaker 5 (01:23:25):
I want to see it.

Speaker 1 (01:23:26):
Yeah, OK, Bob and Bob just walk Later on, how
would you like to hang out with a friend of ours?
The blue eyes of this guy. His eyes are so
blue and they will look right into your soul. Joey

(01:23:47):
McIntyre Parrot passes to an album listening party of Joey
McIntyre for the New Kids at the Helpful Hand the
Music Lounge here in Los Angeles. Freedom is a semi
biographical album by joe McIntyre, exploring his upbringing path to
pop start and what freedom means to him breaking into
the scene or onto the scene with the new kids
in the block. Joey furthered his career with solo pop

(01:24:08):
albums like Stay the Same On this LP CO, writing
eight of the ten tracks and two on his own,
McIntyre deliver his classic pop melodies over a soulful sound
for new and forever fans of life. I have a
funny feeling somebody copy and pasted that.

Speaker 2 (01:24:24):
I thought you just came up with that just now.

Speaker 1 (01:24:27):
On the top of my head right there. We're stoked.
He's a cool guy. It's mid a ton of fun.
I'm excited I'll be there hosting this for him. So,
Joey McIntyre album listening party you want in eight six
six five four four, my fam, you call right now
eight sixty six five four four six five Fab. We're

(01:24:53):
about thirty seconds from one thousand dollars. So we're still
about that Bob Dylan movie. Jill said. The ratings on that.

Speaker 5 (01:24:59):
Like people, right, actual people who have seen.

Speaker 1 (01:25:02):
The movie, not credit creates, just normal people like us.

Speaker 5 (01:25:04):
But they did this poll in America's favorite movie of
twenty twenty four was a complete unknown?

Speaker 1 (01:25:09):
How about that? The number one movie that we favored
in twenty threety four was a complete unknown about Bob Dylan.
Laura saw. She went into it thinking it was Bob Marley.

Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
Imagine my surprise, and.

Speaker 1 (01:25:20):
Timothy Shallowy comes out. She's like, oh, this is going
to be culturally inappropriate. I mean, what's he going to do?

Speaker 5 (01:25:27):
I was just gonna change and we're gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (01:25:29):
Like I hadn't done a little research.

Speaker 1 (01:25:30):
I'd heard it was going to be amazing and really great.

Speaker 8 (01:25:33):
I just went into it think, okay, it's about a
famous Bob.

Speaker 1 (01:25:37):
And you were just waiting yeah, the reggated kick in,
You're like, this is weird, man, no reggae.

Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
Yet is a bit slow, but slowly caught on.

Speaker 5 (01:25:46):
But uh yeah, I maagine my surprise.

Speaker 1 (01:25:48):
Imagine surprise. Did you like it in the end?

Speaker 2 (01:25:51):
That was good?

Speaker 8 (01:25:52):
My only onom with it is okay, Bob Dylan, Bob Molly, Bobley.
Bob Dylan is so talented and has so many amazing hits,
and it's more of his like origin story, but like
really origin. We're talking like the beginning, you know, And
for me, I was just kind of like.

Speaker 1 (01:26:07):
You want a different hits.

Speaker 8 (01:26:08):
I want, I know, I want to see like the progression,
like I love those movies like Bohemian Rhapsody.

Speaker 2 (01:26:13):
Well, like you get the whole story where it's like
I don't really Well that's.

Speaker 1 (01:26:16):
Why I said. I thought it was a great little
snapshot into his life, the microcosmos life. And there were
plenty of hits. Blown the wind, It's not I mean
that's his biggest hits hit. Yeah, you know there's so
many John Knows that really Yeah, these are I mean,
come on, girl, many roads, muzzle Man, walk down, okay
me fuck him the.

Speaker 2 (01:26:36):
Man, I'm Bob Dylan.

Speaker 3 (01:26:39):
How many sees muscle.

Speaker 2 (01:26:42):
What does it? Before?

Speaker 1 (01:26:45):
John Pete cause us into his office to complain, So.

Speaker 2 (01:26:50):
Good key mind.

Speaker 8 (01:26:51):
I had done Bob Marley karaoke before this, so I
was disappointed when I walked into Bob Dylan.

Speaker 1 (01:26:56):
You thought this is a movie about Bob Marley a
completely Why not? Because did you read anything about it?

Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
Did anybody tell you? Just go, oh, it's a new
move called the Complete.

Speaker 8 (01:27:06):
Unknown and Bob Yeah, I mean that's vague complete unknown, right,
and you.

Speaker 2 (01:27:11):
Just naturally as soon as Bob Marley.

Speaker 3 (01:27:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:27:13):
Did you see that Marley movie that came out though?
Did you see that one?

Speaker 12 (01:27:16):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
But I should yeah about Bob don't.

Speaker 3 (01:27:20):
Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (01:27:28):

incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electric.

Speaker 3 (01:27:59):
Five things you need to know right now.

Speaker 1 (01:28:02):
It comes to rain again. Wait what rain? Hold on,
let me adjust my microphone. Rain in the forecast for
sokel light rain, But it's rain starting Friday night continuing
the Saturday. This is gonna help firefighters who been battling
the Eating fire and the Paliss fire and dry conditions. However,
too much rain could possibly trigger mud slides, but experts

(01:28:23):
say heavy rain is not likely. So just some light
rain Friday and Saturday. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. Thousands of Costco
workers could be going on strike in a few weeks.
The union representing about eighteen thousand Costco employees says a
strike will happen if a contract agreement is not met. Yeah,
I guess it makes sense. You know a large number

(01:28:43):
of employees go to strike at Costco. They wouldn't do
a small thing, But like all of them, here's a
year's supply of employees. This could mean your local Costco, though,
might be short staffed or temporary closed. Starting next month,
we'll see what happens.

Speaker 6 (01:28:55):
John's treading well, Lady got goys teasing something pretty big here.
Her website now features this mysterious down, which is supposed
to hit zero on January twenty seventh. There's no immediately
evident particular reason for the date, but some sources are
telling TMZ it's the countdown for the official announcement of
her seventh album.

Speaker 2 (01:29:10):
So we'll have to see next week.

Speaker 6 (01:29:11):
I John Kamuchi, that's what's training on socials?

Speaker 1 (01:29:20):
Do you know one of my favorite parts of this
radio show today, one of my favorite parts of the
radio show today might have been the first time it's
ever happened in my radio career.

Speaker 2 (01:29:35):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (01:29:35):
I'm trying to think.

Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
One of my favorite parts of the radio show today.
I hope you heard it. One of the moments that
I don't think it's ever happened in my recollection. I'm
not going to sign a legal doc in my recollection.
I don't remember this ever happening before.

Speaker 5 (01:29:53):
You're Bob Dylan impression.

Speaker 2 (01:29:57):
Jill's saying you're her best friend.

Speaker 1 (01:29:58):
No God, no oh no.

Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
Reese on the phone, late to school.

Speaker 1 (01:30:03):
Reese on the phone walking to school. A young girl
walking to school on her own, because everybody takes the
bus now or gets dropped off by parents. Right walk
in the school and decided the call into our show.
As a kid walk into school, you may think, like,
come on, I's had that happen before. No, we get
tons of people in the car. It's la right, you know,

(01:30:24):
people are always doing that. And before I started doing
the mornings, I was doing nights and you know, afternoons
and stuff. I don't know if I ever had a
young kid take the time out of their day walking
to school to enjoy the companionship of a morning show
and listening as she walked to school obviously got her
AirPods in and decided to call into us. I thought
it was a special moment. I don't know it's ever

(01:30:45):
happened before.

Speaker 6 (01:30:46):
My first time ever calling into a radio station was
walking to school. I used to listen on my little
walk Man all the time.

Speaker 1 (01:30:51):
Yep, you called us, Yep you talked to me.

Speaker 2 (01:30:53):
I don't know, I must have. Well, then you're the
first time memory. I used to call all the time
when I was going to high school.

Speaker 5 (01:31:03):
Yeah, time in the morning.

Speaker 6 (01:31:05):
You used to talk to Junior High End High school,
and I'd call into all the shows i'd listened to, Oh,
listened to Secrest to yeah, Seacrest? Who else at the time,
just YouTube?

Speaker 1 (01:31:16):
I didn't know s like so as a kid then
and Secrest is like super famous. I'm just a dude.
What did you like? What were your impressions of the
two shows? Well, you remember, I didn't.

Speaker 6 (01:31:27):
I don't remember too much, but I do remember, like
I didn't really watch too much American idol or anything.
So to me, like you guys were the same, you
know what I mean, Like it was you guys were both.

Speaker 1 (01:31:36):
Radio superstars, like you're so sweet.

Speaker 2 (01:31:38):
It wasn't a comparison thing to me, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (01:31:40):
I did found out our salaries, and you're.

Speaker 2 (01:31:42):
Not saying didn't find that out n til years later.

Speaker 1 (01:31:43):
Oh and I told.

Speaker 2 (01:31:44):
You that's wild.

Speaker 1 (01:31:46):
Jud I love that you did that too.

Speaker 2 (01:31:48):
But yeah, I feel like it was maybe more common.

Speaker 1 (01:31:50):
Yeah, because I.

Speaker 6 (01:31:50):
First had a CD player and my CD player could
also tune to the radio.

Speaker 1 (01:31:54):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:31:54):
I used always have my little headphones in.

Speaker 15 (01:31:56):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
All right, so you're not that young, you're kind of
old if you had a CD player.

Speaker 2 (01:32:01):
Yeah, it was very young when I did have the
CD player, but it.

Speaker 1 (01:32:03):
Was there, right. I remember walking to school and it
was it was tough, like in the snow and stuff
was always hard. But we walked to school and I
would carry one speaker, Tom Romick carried the other, and
Kurt would carry the turntable. And that's how we listen
to music. Really, yeah, I need somebody put on a
thirty three or forty five and we just carried their
recommend school heavy. Yeah. Yeah, it's crazy. I think go
boomboxes after.

Speaker 2 (01:32:23):
That's why I problem.

Speaker 1 (01:32:26):
But wow, what was crazy? Just like Reese just walked
in to school today and she's fourteen, just called into
the show and want to chat. And I felt like
I had I was telling another call. I had like
a little dad moment, like I wanted to stay on
the phone and make sure she got to school safely
because somebody, kids don't walk to school. Now, yeah, like
are you there? Are you on property? Do you see
a teacher? You know? She was late, not our fault,

(01:32:47):
she called us.

Speaker 3 (01:32:48):
One three my sm Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 4 (01:32:51):
Nominations for the Razzie Awards have been announced, and this

Speaker 4 (01:33:28):
He was making his debut in Anne Juliette on Broadway,

they couldn't be there, and in honor of him, they
were having a little date night without him.

Speaker 5 (01:33:39):
I'm Jill with the entertainment headline.

Speaker 1 (01:33:40):

I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
