Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table, Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
I help.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
It's respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 4 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now, my bam.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
It is Valentine in the Morning. It is five thirty.
Good morning to you, Tuesday, December tenth. We're a little
late on the start today with everything going on with
the fires and stuff out there and these high winds.
Jilla is stuck in Riverside right now. She gets stuck
in some massive traffic or something, and the winds out
there crazy and this got the coffee pot today. We
started a little bit late, so now it's stripping, tripping, Jamie.

(00:38):
It's making me feel like I have to go to
the bathroom. That's a test of like how old you are.
If you hear water dripping and feel like you have
to use the restroom, that's how it takes.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Now I have to go.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Now, you have to go too, right. This fire out
there in Malibu is very, very bad. This was just
like one hundred acres last night and just blew up.
The Franklin fire eighteen one hundred and twenty two acres
burned so far, drugs and jeopardy. Pepperdine students are staying
at campus. They're pretty good. A Pepperdine where I guess
the shelter in place works quite well. So if you
have any students of Pepperdine, the center of the campus

(01:09):
works well for a shelter in place, and it's approved
by La County Venture County fire departments and stuff, so
they're okay in that respective. Man, this thing is out
of control. If you're out there at oh see, of
course you know you're waking up going all right, everything's
fine here, we got some wind and things like that. Right,
but here in the La County Ventura County area, this fire,
Franklin fire burning in the Malibu area is just exploded.

(01:31):
A lot of pelicopters on site. They'll have the big
tankers as soon as daylight comes up and everything. But
this is this is southern California. It just sucks that
here we are talking another big fire. And how's had
went up by me a little while.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
Ago, And how terrifying to me that when it broke
out at eleven pm last night.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
So it's at night too, so you don't know you're
sleeping my wife doesn't know yet.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Oh man.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
And then you start thinking about, because we live here
in southern California, what do you take with you?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
If you're evacuated, what do you take with you? You're
not even thinking about is my house can be they're not.
At this point, You're like, all right, I've had to evacuate.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
What I take?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
And you know everybody has different things. I go, all right,
take the laptop and the hard drive. There you go,
and that's everything in your life more than likely if
you backed up, photos are in the cloud, please God.
But there's shoe boxes of stuff all over your house.
I'm sure that you haven't backed yea, and things that
you just can't having a go bag at all times,
you know.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
And that's it's terrifying.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Like that fire that was just out by us a
while ago, we had some friends that had lost their
homes and everything. There's one person that moved there from
losing their home in a fire and then lost their
home in another fire. It's crazy. Sometimes you go like,
what are we doing here in California? But where do
you go? You know, there's always something somewhere, right, there's
just something somewhere with less taxes, So we'll keep you

(02:43):
updated on this. I'm here, John's here, Bryan's here, Jill,
like I said, is on the way and stuff, and
we'll let you know about the evacuation centers if this
affects you, because a large part of our audience. This
may not affect you personally, obviously, but this is a
big fire in southern California which has a potential to
become an absolutely devastating fire. I think zero percent containment,
which you'd expected this hour of the morning with this

(03:03):
amount of wind blowing from east to west. And these
winds probably till like two three in the afternoon or
something like that, and they're not even the highest now,
these winds should become increased in wind speed as the
morning comes. Many times we realize that with winds the
Santa Anas, they died down a bit at night, but
as the sun rises, so does the wind, with the
temperature change and everything too, So we'll keep an eye
on it. It is one of four to three ifab otherwise.

(03:24):
How are you this morning? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (03:26):
Three?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
One oh four? Three?

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Bright? How are you?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I'm feeling okay, okay, I got a good amount of sleep.
Finally for the I'm in weeks. Oh wow, And as
you all know, I was very cranky yesterday. Today I'm
a new man.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Oh my god. Who sent me an apology text yesterday?
And he goes, I apologize, it was just so cranky yesterday,
and I pray everyone, I'll see you another one in
a month from now.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
And I called him up.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I go, why don't you like just set these on auto,
you know, just once a month with an apology every Monday.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Honestly, every Monday would be great.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Wow, that's more than once a month, right there.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Every month, every intermentous behind you.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
We have a group chat behind your back. It's called
the Monday Chat, and we all check in with each other, like,
how's it doing today?

Speaker 1 (04:07):
It's Monday.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Is really off the chain?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Oh my god, I don't know what happened every Monday.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
You're right, because the Steelers don't play every Sunday, so
it's really just the line of Steelers.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, every time the Steelers place.

Speaker 7 (04:17):
Are you alleging I partied too hard with the Steeler
game and then I can't.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Handle the day after?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Yeah? Maybe? Yeah, Just you have three kids, that's part
of it. Who are under you know? Eleven John how
are you.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
I'm good.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
I don't want to like, not obviously in comparison here,
but with all the wind in Orange County, all of
our neighbors keep their wind chimes up.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
It's like.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Crosses to bear massive fire. My wife doesn't know about
it yet. Malibury area. I live out in the west
Lake Village, t O area. Yeah, not that far from
the fire. God winds change.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Yeah, that's how I am didn't get sleep there were wind,
the wind chime outside.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
I couldn't get any sleep. Us down eighteen hundred twenty
two acres burned. You get it?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Take does wind chimes down, guys, not in comparison, But
I'm just saying, you know, we'll leave you with that thought.
Let's bring down these wind schipes. Yes, we'll keep you
guys up to date. How are you though? Three to one, oh,
four to three.

Speaker 8 (05:14):
It's Valentine in the morning on one four three my FM.
Listen anywhere with the iheard radio app as far as.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
I understand right now, the winds with this massive fire
that people are waking up to this morning, the Franklin.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Fire in the Malibu area.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
And Malibu's not just oh they're rich. People live there.
There's plenty of ordinary people that live in that area
as well off of the canyons and things too. So
if the winds uh stay where they are and they're
gonna blow pretty pretty hard until like two or three
this afternoon. I believe they're rolling east to west, So

(05:49):
without being an expert, I believe that's towards the ocean
or something. It's not that far from my house. We're
talking like twenty minutes personally from my house twenty twenty
five minutes by car. I could take the canyons to
get the Malibu so and then kids at Pepperdine. I
guess they've canceled all classes and finals for the day.
Power's been out for a lot of people. The power
shut offs were all in our area, so I was

(06:09):
expecting the power to go out at my house anyway. Then,
driving in, I was calling Jill checking on her that
she said she was running late, and then my phone
just went and cut off as I was driving down
the one on one in that area. Then it picked
back up, but I'm assuming it was one of the
cell towers. One of the cell towers in Melbowy area
probably had its power shut off or something could you
smell it outside your house, No, because it is the

(06:32):
wind should be blowing, but it's basically towards the sea.
That's what the Santa Anas looks like. They're blowing right now.
But if that thing switches and turns the other way.
You have Calabasas right there by Malibu. You've got the
one on one of it hopped out or something. There's
a lot of obviously damage and people that could be
under evacuation orders. We'll keep you updating that. How are
things in Orange County? How are your wind chimes out there?

(06:53):
Anybody else suffering? As John did last night?

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Just if it's Wendy, take the wind chimes downs too much?

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Some neighbors the Orange County area complaining about wind chimes
being up and making too much noise, ching ching. So
apparently your new house with your girlfriend not as great
as you thought it would be.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Your name apartment.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
Fantastic when it's not windy. As soon as that wind
picks up. Ye did she hear the wind chimes too?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Kept his boat up. We're like, we got one of us,
got to go take those wind chimes down.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Where were they? Neighbors places?

Speaker 5 (07:22):
We have two neighbors that have them. They're like battling
wind chimes. It's like battle of the symphonies.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
It's just outside, ching ching from this area, ching ching
from that area.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
I don't know if ching ching is the phrase you
want to be going with.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
What it sounded like to me.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Ching ching would be out of this. Don't look at me.
I'm sleep deprived. Okay, the wind chimes.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
She just gonna have a comments say about all this.
Here's post belone circles one of four to three. My
FM run run one of four to three. My family
eat is valids out of the warning some texts coming
in here and update on John's parking situation at his

(08:03):
new place.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
Yeah, we have four apartments, three parking spaces, and the
neighbors were in cahoots and they told us that you
have to be grandfathered in so we can't park.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
So it's a seniority thing. They always said, like first
people here get the parking spots. If one of those
people leave, then you get a parking spot, and then
a new person wouldn't get a spot until they were
up the chain.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
And it seems to be behind the landlord's back because
the landlord says, there's.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
No parking rules.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
You can park wherever you want, right, But the people
who live there have created this on system within themselves.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Which is not fair. Yeah, you're not paying for their system,
you're not renting from them, and there's no reason to
believe that those people might not live there for ten
more years and get no parking.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
Exactly, And that's true. However, I'm a pushover, So we're
just not parking there.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
You guys are parking in the streets.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
We didn't want to like cause a tiff, Like we
just moved there, like so you know.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
What's gonna happen though, huh So he's gonna move out
and the you're gonna get a.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Parking spot, right, and the next guy's not gonna care.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Next thing's going to be like I don't care, and
then you wasted all this time.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
But it just felt like a lot of effort over
a parking spot. You know. It's just like I don't
want to fight. I don't care.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Parking, but is inside the building, Yes, that's effort I
would fight for.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
I know it's definitely prime parking. Like it makes a.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Difference if it starts raining, the weather's bad or something
that's inside a building.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
And if you come to young.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Beautiful girlfriend, right, safety is very much in fact play there, right,
Who are the other people? Boys?

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Girls? What are they? We got a family with two
teenage boys.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
Okay, we got an old married couple upstairs and a
married couple down the hall.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
All right, listen, they can find it for themselves. You've
got the young hotty. Don't wanter out on the street,
you know, true, say that. Just go up to the
couple and go, I've got a young hotty. You guys
have had a good run. You're an old married couple, which,
by the way, would be like me and Leilani or
I mean his idea of what an old married couple is,
or probably like you know, forty.

Speaker 9 (09:50):
Near the end.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
Okay, No, I don't know how they are. You're not
really good with the ages. Are I'm really not like
young adult. I don't know how old babies are. I
don't know how old kids are.

Speaker 9 (10:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
I look at him and I'm like one to ten.

Speaker 5 (10:02):
Maybe that's I don't know seven, right, I just like
take my best guess, and they're usually wrong.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
There was a young lady you had left because you
had some podcasts to work on after our meeting yesterday.
No no, no, no, it checks And then I don't
know where you went, but a young lady walked into
the conference room we're in. We're having this big meeting
at MIFM, and it's all just a myfm' staff, so
just like six people, very small staff. So we're in
there and we're celebrating Raph, our friend who just got

(10:29):
his sergeant Chevron's right, so his stripes I guess as
a sergeant in the Army National Guard. We got a
cake for him and stuff. So we're in this room
having a cake and things. And then I think Jill
left too, so it's just me, Raff and John Peek
I think in the room, and a young lady walks
in and was asking if we're using that room because
they had another meeting they had to do or something,
and they're like Raber and Raft got his stripes. Rah.

(10:50):
And then I said, and have we met before? What's
your name? And she goes on, my name is so
and so God, I don't think we've met before, said
we might have met once, which I was like, what
was that.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
I can't remember when that was.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
We're talking for some and then we'd leave the room
and we're walking down the hall, John peak and I
and John's like, wow, a flirt in the wild. I
just saw it, my John. I don't what you think
flirting is. But I asked the lady who she was
because I was going to report her for being in
the building. And I didn't know who she was. But no,
I guess just being friendly. I don't know who she was.
I saying, Hi, who is this mysterious woman?

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:19):
And Pete was like, you're flirting. I'm like, I was
not flirting.

Speaker 7 (11:23):
When we did the topic of who's the most cirtatious person?
You know, you did pop into much.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
You just like you have a you know, a very
wondering if she works in the building is essentially a
better way of saying, you come here often.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
I did not say to this lady essentially what you
were like twenty years younger than me, You come here often?

Speaker 1 (11:42):
That's what you're asking. Does she work in the building?
You worked at that.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
Chef tel And I did not go you come here often? Hi,
how are you coming here often? Because you're an experience.
I'm nosy, That's all. It was just me being nosy,
Like if you say flirtiest or nosiest. Which one do
I win?

Speaker 10 (12:00):
Yea you Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 8 (12:04):
Valentine in the Morning one of four to three my
FM nineties.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
All right, it is one of four to three mifam.
It's Valentine in the Morning. I was telling Brian and
John here. I stubbed my toe last night too. I
don't know what it is. I gotta get like steel
tipped slippers or something like that, because I was making
dinner last night, making fish tacos. Colin had some soccer
stuff and ate his soccer dinner, so I don't know
if he'd be eating with us not. And I'm cutting
up halopennos for my wife. She likes hlo ofpannos, which,

(12:30):
by the way, just make me when you're cutting them choke.

Speaker 1 (12:34):
I can't take it. Sorts in your eyes, it's like
worse than your onion.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Though, like with onions, I had it solved it put
on snorkel gear and I'm fine. Just the mask covers
the nose in the eyes, and I'm fine with the onion.
Cut them all day. But the jalapeno goes in through
my mouth, yeah, and it gets and I'm like, so
I'm alergic to Hlapagno's or something in that respect. So
I'm doing that, I'm distracted, and I stubbed my toe.

(12:59):
I stuffed my toe on my left foot probably twice
over the past like year and a half or something,
and uh, just really jacked up one toe. This one
toe just looks weird. Now I've done it to my
right foot. I've got to get slippers with steel tip toes.
Does anybody know if they have those?

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I have likes those are that.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
I have steal tip shoes, okay, but I can't wear
them around the house like that.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
I don't know about slippers, man, I think they don't
make steel tip slippers. They should. What about uggs steel
tip ugs?

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Uh? Yeah, but they're just they're big too. But the
ugs make slippers too. I'm looking for so I can
just slip on when I'm near anything that could be
hard on my toes. There was just a kitchen cabin.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Got to put you in a bubble or something.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Yea, they make steal tip slippers. They really do fantastic.
That's your who's my stand on? That's right?

Speaker 9 (13:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Do you guys get your secret stand and gift yet?

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (13:49):
He did.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
I gotta do that I got Jill steel toed slippers.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
I'm sorry, yeah, shoots, I'll trade with there or it's
no trading right now. One of four to three, my fam,
it is valance and in the morning, we are keeping
you up date on this Franklin fire out in the
Malibu area. It is eighteen hundred and twenty two acres
burned right now, but of course that's what they think
it is purely. Can't tell a lot till the sun
comes up. They've got some helicopters that they're using at
night to fight this, but the big water tankers will

(14:13):
come in when the daylight comes. So sunrise what like
an hour away probably, Yeah, So once it comes we'll
know more and we'll keep you informed of any evacuation
orders in the area two or any surrounding communities that
might be effected. Pepperdine Big University has shut down their
classes for the day and their finals for the day.
A lot of those kids, I believe are sheltering in place,
So parents, if you have any kids of Pepperdine, you
should know that they are taking care of them. It's

(14:34):
all approved by the fire department stuff, and they usually
go towards the center of the campus. I believe in
shelter in place there.

Speaker 6 (14:40):
Bloody girls.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Don't get home, my fam. It is Valentine in the
morning and it's six thirteen. Good morning, Jill. How are
you today?

Speaker 11 (14:52):
Say good morning. I made it, just.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Made it a little bit late today. That's totally fine,
very late today. You've missed some drama. We're obviously talking
about the fire and stuff to Franklin Fire.

Speaker 11 (15:01):
I listened to the way in. It's very entertaining show.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Is it really?

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (15:04):
We are nice, We are good.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Stop it.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
John is devastated about the wind chimes.

Speaker 11 (15:11):
I heard that.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yes, we're talking about this fire which is out of
the Malibu area, which at this point we don't have
any structure updates, not much. We have acreage updates. But
there's people obviously we're going to be losing their homes
and stuff. And it's horrible, horrible fire. And it's not
that far from my house twenty minutes. But that's fine.
My house is fine right now. The wind's blowing the
other direction, and there'd be a lot of stuff between
my house and this that would be end of the

(15:33):
world type stuff if it happened. But you don't know.
These fires especially these winds. So a lot of people
are concerned in that area. If you're in oc you're
not fighting any fires faring over riverside right now, you
guys are okay, that's good, but you gotta be careful
with these winds and red flag warnings.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
So we're talking all about this.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
And John's like, you know, the wind chimes at my
plane through out of control. And then I close the microphone. Yeah,
and I'm still talking about these fires. And I go
I didn't want to wake my wife and tell her
about the fire, but I sent her an email going, hey,
big fire Malibu. When you wake up, keep an eye
on that, right And John goes, howk to a girl
might be going to jail.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
Oh no, that was very poorly timed. That was a
different time of our off air conversations.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Well, the whole time on top of the fire. He's
like hawk to a girl made like a coin called
talk toua or something.

Speaker 6 (16:19):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (16:21):
My family, we've lost a home in a fire. We
know how serious it can be. When you were asking us,
you know, how are you I.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
And then so then I'm going, all right, geez, these
winds tho, I'm gonna have to check with Leilani. And
if Colin's driving the school he started to driving, it's
gonna be carefully his high winds, right. And then the
next thing here out of his mouth is that murderer
is pretty hot.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
Okay, that's true though objectively he's a good looking dude.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Yeah, this is what you're missed, the New York guy, right, So,
the windshine situation, the hawk Ta girl, he's standing by
all of his all those things up. This is all legit,
all of those You have to you ask.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Me what's trending every day. I'm telling you right now the.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
Dude is objectively a good looking guy talk to a
girl might be going to jail.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
That's pretty crazy news right there. And the winch, the
win and the windshow trending in my life.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
That's been my friends back and forth in me concerned
about a fire that's affecting so many people in that area.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
This is what happens in your late jail.

Speaker 10 (17:25):
Me.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Yeah, jail, Nice job, Jill, thanks a lot, nice to
show up to work today.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Talk about wicked or.

Speaker 8 (17:33):
From Sedan's and su These too full sized trucks.

Speaker 12 (17:36):
Experience the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrify raezings.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
You need to know right now, six twenty three, it's
valence out in the morning. This is one of four
three MIFM firefighters working hard to contain this Frankli fire
in your Malibu broke out last night just for eleven o'clock,
so most people in bed. Started out at about ten acres,
it's now over eighteen hundred acres due to very powerful wins.
It's burnt right near Pepperdine University. They've canceled classes and

(18:02):
finals for the day. Most kids sheltering in place, and
there's gonna be fine in that respect. Meanwhile, power has
been cut to tens of thousands of homes as utilities
are work to prevent further damage from the winds, which
can easily spark new fires and damage power lines. Most
of us in that area and in the winds or
under the possible power shutoffs. And when I was driving
in this morning, I was talking to Jill on the

(18:23):
phone on the one on one. Then I phone went
bit a weird noise and they just dropped and I
saw the signal just go away, which it never does
that in the area the one on one, So I
assume us picking up a Malibu cell tower or something.
It dropped me but then it came back on. But
for those people that are living in that area, how
did they get the alerts? If the cell tower goes out.
Disneyland is shutting down a few rides to make room

(18:46):
for their expansion of the Avengers campus. They'll be shutting
down their Red Trolley attraction in February to make room
for new rides like Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight. Laugh,
what is the Red Trolley attraction?

Speaker 13 (18:57):
So it's this trolley car that goes through through California Adventure.
You see it, you know, kind of like near Carthay Circle,
and it makes its way through Hollywood and then it
goes back to where Avengers Campus is. But what I
believe is going to happen is no longer going to run,
but it will be stationary somewhere in the park, I
think from.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
What I Sorry I was asking, John, but thank you
for that. Yes, John, what's trending?

Speaker 5 (19:19):
So Taylor Swift just wrapped up the Airs tour over
the weekend in Vancouver and now some of the numbers
are coming in. She's performed for over ten million people.
She created the highest grossing tour in history. But what
I think is wild is it's being reported that Taylor
Swift gave one hundred and ninety seven million dollars in
bonuses over the course of the tour to her performers
and her crew. And that's on top of their salary,
So she gave back a lot of that, which is

(19:40):
kind of nice. If that sounds like a lot of money.
The air Store made two billion dollars.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yeah, I was gonna say, I'd be happy to give
you guys one hundred ninety seven million dollars and I
made two billion dollars.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Yeah, the first two billion dollar tour to ever happen
on planet Earth. Wow, I'm John Comuci. That's what's trending
on socials.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Wasn't that guy without saying aspriy, wasn't that guy you
worked for? Was he generous with his Christmas gifts or not?
Without saying names?

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Okay, well, well I don't.

Speaker 7 (20:03):
I did get a twenty dollars bluetooth speaker once.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Then I said that I love it.

Speaker 7 (20:08):
Sounds like sounds cheap when you can so funny the salary,
but it was a great speaker.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Like I honestly thought like this before, Like if I
made that much money, and you don't know, I guess
until you make that much money. But certain people in
radio just make obscene amounts of money. If I made
that much money, I'd like buy people cars. You no,
oh no, no. You get a twenty dollars Bluetooth speaker,
which is nice. Can you use it in the shower?

Speaker 1 (20:33):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (20:35):

Christmas carolers, Christmas carolers, are they underrated? Overrated? Perfectly rated?
When you hear that knock at the door and somebody
starts caroling? So underrated? Overrated? Are perfectly rated? By the way,
that was free. We didn't pay for that. The jingle underrated, overrated,

(21:56):
perfectly rated? Christmas carolers. What do you think, Jill, perfectly Josh?

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Underrated?

Speaker 2 (22:02):

couple of bob. You know, a couple of what they
say you give a couple of bob. Here's a couple
of bob.

Speaker 1 (22:28):
What does that money?

Speaker 2 (22:29):
It's moneylamination, Yes, exactly, that's Charles Dickens. You give me a
couple of Bob here's a sixpence for you and one

Speaker 12 (22:42):
Follow us a Valentine in the Morning on Instagram and TikTok.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
That sound a little bit sort of to you, a
little bit right on a four to three. My fan
is Valentine in the morning. Sunny, windy, tempts sixties, Lott
seventies today, red flag warning and effect through tomorrow. Forty
six Frida fifty four in orange. Obviously the winds are
howling in Malibu with our Franklin fire has burned more
than eighteen hundred acres.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
We'll keep you abreast of that.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Very scary suns coming up those so we're now getting
to see it a bit more too. Jill's got the
entertainment headlines coming up.

Speaker 13 (23:11):
The upcoming season of Squid Game is apparently so great
it got nominated for a Golden Globe and it's not.

Speaker 11 (23:17):
Even released yet. I'll tell you how that happens coming
up at six fifty.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Brian's gonna throw some stuff at us. We all jump in.
Is an underrated, overrated, or perfectly rated.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Secret Santa Gift Exchange.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Ooh, Secret Santa Gift Exchange. Underrated, overrated, perfectly rated, overrated.

Speaker 14 (23:39):
Perfectly rated, perfectly rated, overrated as okay for me sending
and receiving holiday cards.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Perfectly rated. Yeah, you gotta be into it. I mean
I like getting them. You know, you know what underrated? Underrated?
A chance to see if you send the right holiday cards,
chance to see a family grow developing over the years.
That's kind of fun, you know, Oh, look little Johnny's
grown up, or look a little Susie there or something,
or look who got the braces off?

Speaker 1 (24:07):
Whatever. I don't know.

Speaker 13 (24:09):
Well, I was gonna say overrated, but after that explanation,
I guess I'll give it up perfectly rated.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
I changed you.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Yeah, why are you in fear because card's coming your way?

Speaker 13 (24:20):
Because at first, like when I open up a holiday card,
I look at it and go oh, and I set
it down and I don't do anything.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
You said, it's kind of fun, And that's the perfect
description of it.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
What do you guys do with them?

Speaker 11 (24:32):
They sit in a pile on the counter.

Speaker 13 (24:34):
And then in January alway, I used to have something
that would go on the door, but I got too
many so you couldn't see anybody poplar.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
The door was so hard to get.

Speaker 11 (24:47):
So many runs that they just sit in a pile
on my counter.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
What about ours? What about my family and your godson?
Where's that one sit?

Speaker 15 (24:55):
Well?

Speaker 13 (24:56):
I have your family Christmas tree that I have because
you guys have giving me ornaments over the years, with
like colin on.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
One tree dedicated just to us.

Speaker 11 (25:04):
I have a tree with your guys. Is all your
ornaments on there?

Speaker 2 (25:10):
You have just such shriy Valentine tree for my family.

Speaker 11 (25:15):
No, it's a tree with all of my ornaments from
when I had as a kid. Okay, and so I
also put up the ornaments that you guys have given
me over the years.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
How many ornaments have we given you?

Speaker 11 (25:24):
I have at least ten?

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Why do we keep giving you things?

Speaker 11 (25:27):
As I put them up when I enjoy them?

Speaker 2 (25:30):
But why are we spending so much money on an
adult because you love me? Okay? Fine, moving on?

Speaker 1 (25:38):
What do you got ugly Christmas sweaters? Overrated?

Speaker 11 (25:41):
Overrated?

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Underrated? Yeah, I think underrated too. They're fun, they're fun.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Oh they're so annoying sometimes, and sweaters in general just
itchy to me. I'm not a sweater guy. They're itchy,
they're fun. I've got a lot of chest hair interacts
with the sweater hair and just different materials. I know,
but they start, they start, you know when vel Crow
hits Velcrow. That's what my chest hair is to a sweat.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
Don't get a wolf sweater.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
And then they start. It starts like in the end
of the day, it's grown in. You know how you
can have like a weird hair or something like that.
My chest hair grows into the sweaters and it.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
More becomes on the It's just weird when you have
a scab under a shirt and its sticks.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Office holiday parties.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Oh god, we have one today.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Are you gonna go to the Can you go to that?

Speaker 9 (26:30):
No?

Speaker 2 (26:30):
I'm getting home a kiss the fire I may not
make nots tonight. I to John Peaked that, but if
that fire becomes problematic in Westlake, t O, I don't
want to be that far away from the house.

Speaker 10 (26:41):
You know.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
I'm sure I'll be able to go, but just being prepared. Yeah,
holiday parties like overrated, I'm say, perfectly rated. Okay, they're fun,
Come on, how bad can it be?

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:58):
We see every day. No, kiss had a huge holiday party. Yesterday.
I was in John peaks office, our boss. Now pulling
back the curtain a bit. I hope you're okay with that.
So I was in John Peaks office, who's the senior
vice president of everything in iHeart Los Angeles. He's a
big wig and he's in charge of all the other
bosses of the radio stations. So one of the bosses

(27:19):
came in and her name is Piatta, and she goes, hey,
I'm gonna be ducking out because I got that kiss
staph Christmas party, you know, going down at Nobu or
something or whatever. It's something really nice, something crazy expensive place, right,
And John's.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Like, okay, all right, well Dot you have fun later.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
And I'm like, how can we never have a Christmas party?

Speaker 1 (27:37):
John?

Speaker 2 (27:38):
And then Beatda goes, yeah, John, how came you to
have a Christmas party from MYFM? Much less staff too?
Like eight people? It's not hard, right, And John goes, Wow,
the name of want to do? And I think let's
go bowling? And they don't want to go bowling.

Speaker 5 (27:49):
She's going to Noboo John bowling.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
You know, yeah, I'm not joking with that eyes either.
It's a big difference.

Speaker 11 (28:00):
Webbing a holiday lunch. All of us would love.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
To gothing you're out of town and stuff like that.
Like I'm in your office in a chair. Oh, she's
filming this. I just realized.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Hi, John socks as a gift.

Speaker 11 (28:19):
Underrated, perfectly rated, love socks.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
I mean, people need socks. It's perfectly rated.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
It disappears somehow. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
The movie Elf, Oh, perfect perfectly rated.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
It's great Hallmark movies.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Underrated, it's perfectly rated.

Speaker 11 (28:39):
You know what you're getting with it? Perfectly rated.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
That's a good point. Yeah, all right, I could agree
to that. Perfectly rated.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Overrated? Yeah, sorry. Just inflatable decorations overrated.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
Good when you're got a kid. When you got a kid,
those inflatable decorations are fantastic. When are you kids? Sixteen?
He doesn't want a large dinosaur with the Santa hats
in his front yard.

Speaker 1 (29:06):
I think you know you learned that the hard way.

Speaker 6 (29:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:08):
So if you got like young kids, they're perfectly rated.
If you got you know, if your kids are older,
they're sick. What are you doing with that?

Speaker 6 (29:15):
Yah?

Speaker 1 (29:15):
It's overrated?

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Then eggnog eggnog.

Speaker 13 (29:18):
I can't participate this. I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
You've never had the knog to egg gluten eggnog.

Speaker 13 (29:24):
We just got some dairy free, gluten free eggnog. I
just haven't tried it yet.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
It doesn't sound like I know, it really doesn't.

Speaker 9 (29:31):
That.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
I think if you know what eggnog is and you've
had it, it's perfectly rated. I could lean towards the
obrated a little bit. You know, I've never had the
eggnog really with the booze in it. That wasn't me
because it must really Oh yeah, that's what I'd be
afraid to drink too much. And then it's just so
much calories and the eggnog and stuff.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
You know, hey, let it go, let your life.

Speaker 11 (29:53):
What does it taste like? I feel like it tastes
like nuts.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
It does taste like spiced milk. I think like a.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Thick yea spiced milk on your tongue. Okay, yeah, it's
not bad, but it's like it's so rich. After a
few SIPs you're like, well that was great that. If
you get the water down stuff, it's just like what
is this, you know? Or the hey we made this
with almonds, Olka, that's gonna be good.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
I have one more. Okay, Christmas music.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
Christmas music, like I love Christmas music, and I mean
I I know we have a radio station down the
hall that's our sister radio stations playing at twenty four
to seven.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
But by the way, none of them like Christmas down.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
There should hear you should in the hallway the other
day I heard them like one of them took a
candy cane and shoved it up some other person's thing.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
It was shocking thing.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Yeah, it was actually Ryan from Ella's show, and then
Roger out there got a candy cane somewhere who didn't
want a candy can. It was very bad, very bad. Yeah,
tough stuff. I'm and I love Christmas music, so I
say it's perfectly rated. I wish it was more of
a mix of like newer stuff put in there and
things like that.

Speaker 11 (31:07):
I like the classic I like the classics.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Too, but I want to mix.

Speaker 9 (31:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
I mean when you go to everybody's essential playlist or
something like that, it's just it seems the same old
stuff all the time.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Just BER's missile tone there that new Ariana Grande or
whoever it is.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
It's got one.

Speaker 16 (31:25):
That is good.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Yeah, that's good. I don't want to hear ones to that, like,
you don't know, I don't want to hear Dominic to
Donkey anymore.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
I'm tired of you know, that one.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
I'm tired of that song, but I want to hear
like the old holly trees, the leaves a prettiest girl
I've ever seen that Christmas in Killarney.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Until one am. Amen. That's good.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
That's too early for Christmas music now in the day.
In the day, yeah no, I could have it on
a lot, but then I yeahs at some point you
just can't have it on twenty four to seven.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
That's why I think we know we are in mental health.
Watch for the people down the hall.

Speaker 11 (32:07):
Keep the candy canes out of there.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Absolutely absolutely last one show tunes underrated, overrated, perfectly.

Speaker 11 (32:17):
Rated, underrated.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
I guess it's perfectly rated. I give you perfectly rated.

Speaker 9 (32:22):
Underrated.

Speaker 11 (32:25):
Popular.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Didn't look at the screen in front of you, so you.

Speaker 12 (32:35):
Won't choose to wear, how to fix your hair, everything
that really counts to be popular.

Speaker 11 (32:42):
I'll help you be populous.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
People chime me in and how they feel about Christmas
music and our text line three one on four three.
Also eggnog Costco. Eggnog is the best. Eggnog is underrated.
I love Christmas music, love it. Eggnog is a hard
no for me. Somebody's saying there Christmas party is at
fog Chow tomorrow. It's an expensive place.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
Yeah, sounds expensive, great food, like Brazilian restaurant.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Is it really Yeah. If you have a tough time
pronouncing a restaurant's name, that's a sign is expensive. You
know it's gonna be costly. Wendy's there, you go easy
for everybody. Chick fil A easy right food chow?

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Oh Hello.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
The only way you know how to pronounce is when
you call them up and they answered the phone. Hello, Hello,
how are you? It's one a four to three, My
famith Valentine morning tonight not's Murray Farm. Our party is
going down there tonight. RAF will be broadcasting live. RAF
is now a sergeant sergeant. Feel free to call him sarge.
Congratulate him. He got his chevron's and he got pinned

(33:53):
by his sister. Sister, by the way, uh did four
years in the Marine Corps. She's amazing herself. So she
put the pin on him, so to speak for his
sergeant stripes.

Speaker 11 (34:02):
That's so cool.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
And she got to punch him in the chest. So
if you guys see Raft tonight, you can punch him.
Oh that's the thing. When you get pinned in the military,
you get a punch as well.

Speaker 11 (34:11):
Yeah, he told us yesterday in the evening that we
can punch him.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
I punched him afterwards in the arm I think it
hurt my hand. It's kind of a bit of a rock,
so'd be carefully to do punch him. I don't know
how long that goes on. I don't think it's like
a punch for a year. I think it's like in this,
you know, in the near term, next few days night,
if you're going to Notsbury Farm, you bump into our
buddy Raft, who does the afternoon show here at my
Famin is also in the Army National Guard. He's a vet.

(34:36):
He's served his country. It's been active duty and everything.
So give him a big old punch and say congrats, serge,
welcome to being in charge of four other people, you
know as a sergeant. Six fifty two Battle the Sex
is coming up. This is one of four to three
mile fans of balance. In the morning, Franklin fires over
eighteen hundred acres. That's the last update. We'll have an

(34:58):
update for you as the public information officer gets on
TV and stuff today. But through out there they're trying
to fight at the best they can. The tankers will
be coming in to drop the water soon as well.
One O four to three MYFM.

Speaker 6 (35:10):
Here's what's coming up.

Speaker 13 (35:11):
In entertainment headlines, the star of a TV show that's
coming to an end. He says that the finale, the
last episode is so satisfying. If you've been a fan
of the show. I'll tell you who said this about
what show?

Speaker 11 (35:27):
Right up to traffic.

Speaker 17 (35:32):
All right, so they should be in the final stages
of clearing this earlier incident out of the way that
I told you about. In Vernon on the seven ten South,
just at the Atlantic Boulevard, it was a stalled car
blocking near left lane, stop and go traffic from all
the way from the sixty. Then in Testin on the
five North, just as you're getting to Newport Avenue, there
was an injury crash blocking the two right lanes. CHP
and fire crews are on the scene, leaving you with

(35:53):
some stop and go traffic from Redhill Avenue. Then in
Torren's four or five north of Crunchhaw Bulevard, there was
an earlier accident up on the right shoulder, stop and
go traffic all the way from Vermont Avenue. I'm going
to tell you pres and that's your traffic with Valentine
in the morning.

Speaker 18 (36:05):
We all got a thing, yes, even you. If you
love fashion, card parts, trading cards, whatever you're into, it's
on eBay, So go find the thing that keeps you
up at night. eBay things people love one oh four
to three.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
My FM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 13 (36:24):
Squid Game the new season got nominated for a Golden
Globe yesterday, and it's a little odd because the show
has not been released yet and to be eligible for
an award for the twenty twenty five Golden Globes, a
show must have premiered in the twenty twenty four calendar
year and have submitted episodes to the voting to everybody

(36:45):
who votes by November fourth. Well, Squid Game, they had
this early release for voters. They were able to see it.
So that's why if you saw it nominated yesterday, you're like, wait,
but it's not even out yet.

Speaker 11 (36:56):
They were able to see it before it was released
to all of us.

Speaker 13 (37:00):
And Stranger Things star David Harbor, he is promising that
the finale of Stranger Things is spectacular, and I love
what he said about it. He said, I think that
it's so satisfying if you've been a fan of the show.
It takes a lot of threads that you may have
been worried about or wondered about, and I'm not saying
it ties them up into a nice neat bow, but
it gives you the having eaten a big meal.

Speaker 11 (37:23):
Satisfaction that you will crave.

Speaker 13 (37:25):
He says.

Speaker 11 (37:25):
Whether that be sad or happy.

Speaker 13 (37:27):
We don't know, but it will be satisfying as a fan,
which I love that. If the show's coming to an end,
just let the fans be satisfied with it. I'm Jill
with their antivid headlines.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
All right, Jill, thank you very much. The Battle of
Sex is coming up. You guys will play it is
eight sixty six five four FOURFM eight six six five

Mentos?

Speaker 2 (42:04):
Yes, height, current score one to one. One of Santa's

Speaker 13 (42:51):
Oh all right, Joey, what doctor Seus's book has a brexup?

Speaker 2 (42:56):
Come on, seriously, do you ever want to answer that?
Without even knowing the question.

Speaker 16 (43:01):
I'm guessing green Eggs and hammer.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Exactly, and you're telling me these aren't easy.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
You're just very smart.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
Uh huh, okay, let's go to it.

Speaker 9 (43:09):
Not so tough.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
Well, probably be harder than your questions. Tiebreaker question, holler
right name. If you know the answer, your name will
be your buzzer. Wait until Brian finishes asking the question
before you buzz in.

Speaker 1 (43:21):
What have you done to end up on the naughty list?

Speaker 16 (43:26):
Joey?

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Joey, Baby, I was late to roll call the other day.
Really answer. They're calling out names and people are like John, George, Joey,
this name wasn't there?

Speaker 16 (43:43):
I wuctant late.

Speaker 2 (43:45):
You walked in late? Did any prisoners escape?

Speaker 16 (43:49):
Thankfully?

Speaker 9 (43:50):
Not?

Speaker 6 (43:50):
Then you're fine.

Speaker 2 (43:52):
You're fine, buddy fellas. When what's up? And all of

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Oh Rebecca, How great is that?

Speaker 11 (44:25):

Speaker 19 (44:25):

Speaker 6 (44:26):

Speaker 2 (44:27):
Do you want to go to Notts tonight or anything?
Can I give you something else?

Speaker 20 (44:31):

Speaker 16 (44:31):
I'm working tonight. I appreciate it, though, Thank you?

Speaker 2 (44:33):
Got it. Well, let me ask you this, Joey. Final
question as you exit the stage here at the Holidays,
if you could let one prisoner out, which one would
that be?

Speaker 16 (44:46):
No answer? Sorry?

Speaker 2 (44:47):
Nor fine? Fair enough, buddy, fair enough? Hey, take care
of yourself, right and happy holidays?

Speaker 16 (44:53):
Are you as well? Take care guys, Happy holidays.

Speaker 8 (44:56):
From Sedan's and SUV's to full sized trucks experience. It's
the incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota electrified racings.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
You need to know right now, All right, seven twenty two,
it's Valententen in the morning. This is one of four
to three MIFM. The Franklin Fire in Malibu has grown
to over eighteen hundred acres, and at one point it
tripled in size in just one hour. Wind gusts of
forty miles an hour have already been reported in the area.
Those winds are expected to get even stronger as a
day goes on. Remember, you've got a lot of canyons
and curves and mountains, and so it's not just forty

(45:27):
miles an hour ago in a certain way. When it
wraps around a mountain, it wraps in through a valley,
you get wind tunnels, and wind directions can change and
more erratic, making it very difficult for the firefighters. About
six thousand people under evacuation orders nearby. Pepperdine University canceled
all classes. Students are sheltering in place on the school's campus.
That school is very well designed in that respect, and

(45:48):
I believe it's approved by La County Fire Department too,
to shelter in place in the center of the campus.
The artificial intelligence company open ai just released a new
program that will generate videos after you type in a prompt.
This is the same company that created chat GPT, and
the new program can make videos with multiple characters and
camera shots. The examples open Ai showed when they unveiled

(46:10):
the program. We're an animated monster, more realistic videos of people,
like a woman walking down a street in Tokyo. It's
all over now they can show a woman walking down
the street. That's that's the thing I was waiting for.

Speaker 6 (46:24):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
But it is kind of crazy how they're getting better
and better every single day. Makes me nervous for actors
and actresses and our you know, Hollywood entertainment industry and stuff.
They have to put guardrails in these things. And just
even our voices. They can take our voices, upload them
and we live in perpetuity. And that's not art. Art
has to come from the heart. AI is not the heart.

(46:51):
Heart Heart, Heart, Heart Heart. John's treading.

Speaker 5 (46:57):
So Billie Eilish is bringing her tour to the Forum
on December fifteenth to do a week of shows December fifteenth,
that's this Sunday.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
What's crazy is people are.

Speaker 5 (47:05):
Already camped out in line to secure their spot for
the show on Sunday. There are several tenths lined apo
outside the venue. Fans have brought food, water, handwarmers. They're
essentially living there for nearly a week before Billy Eilish
comes into town. It's one of the biggest tours of
the year. I couldn't believe it when I saw it,
but it is real. People have been lined up since Sunday.
I'm John Kamuchi. That's what's trending on socials.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
We do have tickets for Billy Eilish. By the way,
if you want to go see Billy. The way you
get these tickets you hop on the free iHeartRadio app.
We have a talkback feature on there little microphone. You
send us a thirty second voice note. John peaks idea.
He wants you to talk Billy to me. I that's
what he's called. I know she loves this. I love
we think it sounds so lame.

Speaker 11 (47:45):
Oh, I think it's so fun. Talk Billy to me.

Speaker 1 (47:47):
Oh that's real.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
That's the name of the contest. And you can leave
a message, you know, basically, talk Billy to us. Why
do you love Billy Eilish? What's so great about her?
Why do you want to go see Billy Olish concert.
We'll give away the tickets to somebody who talks Billy
to me. Be it badd.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Free iHeartRadio app. You open enough, have answer.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
There's a little microphone. You can talk back to us.
You click that, you leave us a thirty second voice note.
It comes right to the studio. Talk billy to me.
Maybe I'm not supposed to say it like that. Maybe
that's the thing. How else would you say it? Because
I mean it's obviously a play in words, is it?

Speaker 11 (48:31):
Don't talk billy to me?

Speaker 9 (48:34):
What did they play?

Speaker 1 (48:35):
Talk dirty to me?

Speaker 2 (48:36):
Brian? We have kids in the car.

Speaker 11 (48:39):
Come on, I don't understand, and never lasting.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
One of four three my family. It is Valentine in
the morning. It is seven to twenty eight eight sixty
six five four for my FM text and three one

Speaker 19 (49:08):
Giving good?

Speaker 13 (49:08):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (49:09):
We're doing good? So what are your kids asking either
you or Santa for Christmas?

Speaker 10 (49:13):
For?

Speaker 19 (49:15):
She has asked both of us for my chemical romance tickets.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Oh that's so awesome, but that's so expensive. That is
like way expensive.

Speaker 8 (49:23):
Actually, yeah, but I don't know if I'm proud because
she picked an awesome bad Sure.

Speaker 19 (49:29):
Yeah, she's listening to music we like, so right, just
I would just be like.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
No, welcome to the black parade. Just learned to play
the piano? Kind of play it for her. Oh she is,
let me talk to her. What's her name? Her name
is Malina Heylina. Hi, we're gonna try and get tickets
for that show to give out in the air because
my kid's freaking out about it too. That's like it's
like five hundred a seed or something stupid.

Speaker 11 (49:55):
I think, Wow, even more?

Speaker 4 (49:57):
Is it more?

Speaker 10 (49:57):
Now?

Speaker 14 (49:59):
The like?

Speaker 9 (50:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (50:01):
A top section over one thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
Second show too, Yes, they did really.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
So good though. Right, how did you find that band?
How did you find my Chemical Romance?

Speaker 21 (50:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 19 (50:13):
I was just listening to emo punk rock on my
Spotify and it came up.

Speaker 22 (50:17):
And I really liked it.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Oh really? Okay, Yeah, we don't say that word with
the s there. It's a dirty word for us here.
I'm sure you meant the iHeart Radio app.

Speaker 19 (50:26):
Right, iHeartRadio, thank you?

Speaker 2 (50:28):
Okay, I'll notice you guys do a live radio program. Absolutely, yes,
Well make sure you do take the iHeartRadio app with
you wherever you go as well, okay, because you can
take us our show wherever you go.

Speaker 11 (50:43):
Because of that, we do take you everywhere, and then you.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
Won't miss out when we have tickets for my chemical
romance to give away during our show.

Speaker 11 (50:55):
That would be awesome one in it.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
What green are you, young lady?

Speaker 1 (50:58):
What grade?

Speaker 16 (51:00):
I'm in sixth grade?

Speaker 2 (51:01):
Sixth grade? We're very well spoken for sixth grader? Congratulations,
thank you? And how sixth grade going? Do you enjoy
your studies?

Speaker 4 (51:11):
Yes?

Speaker 15 (51:11):
I did?

Speaker 5 (51:11):
Very fun.

Speaker 1 (51:12):
How old am I? I just no?

Speaker 2 (51:15):
But I mean, come on, I just said, do you
enjoy your studies? Are you enjoying your studies?

Speaker 1 (51:22):
Little lady?

Speaker 2 (51:25):
Have you read Little Women?

Speaker 9 (51:29):
Well?

Speaker 2 (51:29):
You guys have a great day. Okay. Do you want
to be on our Christmas card list?

Speaker 15 (51:32):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (51:33):
Absolutely, okay, give me three hoes and you're on it,
say he mom and daughter driving to school. I absolutely
love it. You guys hang out, We'll take care of you.

Speaker 10 (51:44):

Speaker 8 (52:00):
Text Valentine in the morning at three one oh four three.

Speaker 13 (52:04):
We all drive Toyotas here on Valentine in the morning.
I love my Toyota. I'm all over southern California driving
in my raw four and this morning, horrible traffic on
the way in, and I was in the car for
a very long time. But I don't know what it
is about the raw four, about these seats, about Toyota's

(52:25):
in general. But when I got to work, you don't
get out of the car. You're not going ooh like
I normally would if I've been sitting for a long time.

Speaker 2 (52:32):
That's some noise you make when you get out of
a cherry sitting for a long time.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
Can I hear that again? More more timeless?

Speaker 19 (52:37):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (52:38):
And I was worried about asking the kid about her studies,
And this one sounds like Rod of Titanic in those
last moments, you know, just.

Speaker 13 (52:45):
Like everything is safe, Yeah, but you know, not in
the Toyota. When I get out of my Toto, I'm like,
get out of the car.

Speaker 11 (52:53):
But it's a comfortable ride. It's a safe ride. There's
a Toyota that is perfect for you and your lifestyle.

Speaker 13 (52:59):
So check out the Prius like Valentine drives, the Highlander
like John drives, the Route four like Eye Drive, or
the Cameri Tacoma Tundra Corolla. Check it all out at
Toyota dot com, or simply see your Toyota dealer today.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
What's the sound you make when you get on your
tute again? Now that's you a bad car.

Speaker 11 (53:19):
Oh oh, I'm sorry, Oh out of my tuoda.

Speaker 2 (53:21):
Yeah yeah, I've got concerns about you exiting any vehic.

Speaker 4 (53:25):
Yeah all right.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
Weather today sunny and obviously windy out there. These red
flag warnings temps sixties low seventies. They're in effect through
tomorrow morning. By the way, the red flag fifty six
Fontana fifty eight coast to Mesa will update you and
keep your breast of the Franklin Fire, which is now
twenty two hundred plus acres. The sun is up now,
so it's a lot easier to kind of get an
eye on what's going on. Evacuation orders and stuff like that.

(53:50):
If we need to get those onto you, we'll get
them on the air, and hopefully the big tankers now
will be able to come in to play with that
wind is so problematic. That wind's gonna last at least
into the early afternoon. Jill's got the entertainment headlines.

Speaker 13 (54:03):
Jeremy Allen White has joined the Star Wars universe.

Speaker 11 (54:06):
I'll tell you how coming up at seven fifty.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
So your kids it's Christmas time. Think a mom, Dad,
I'm going to write a letter to Santa and ask
him for this. Maybe just asking you directly bypasses Santa.
However it works. What are they asking for? Brian's house?
It was always animals. Now both boys want iPhone sixteens.
What does your daughter ask for?

Speaker 1 (54:30):
She just wants a princess toy? Very okay, God lover,
God loves that child.

Speaker 2 (54:37):
Nice and easy iPhone sixteens, Sadra, Good morning, good morning.
What are those kids asking for it Christmas? This year?

Speaker 6 (54:46):
My daughter's asking for an electric recliner.

Speaker 2 (54:49):
An electric recliner. Oh my gosh, like a hyped up
lazy boy. Yeah, good for her, They're great.

Speaker 19 (54:56):
It's because her dad has one, so she only wants so.

Speaker 23 (54:59):
Much the TV, or that is she wants.

Speaker 2 (55:03):
Yeah, my mom's got one inside her room and memory care.
She rarely rarely uses it though, And it's great too
because it lifts you up too. It's not just a recliner,
like if you get the old folks version, you can
recline in it fully, but then when you want to
sit up, the chair raises you up to almost the
standing position. Really, you could never you could, you could
give up on using any muscles.

Speaker 11 (55:25):
That's great, that sounds so nice.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
Just get old you'll be there. Sandra. What's your daughter's name?

Speaker 4 (55:35):
Her name is Arabella in the car with you?

Speaker 19 (55:38):
No, I just dropped her off.

Speaker 2 (55:40):
Will you tell her we said hello, I will, and
we'll put you on the Christmas card list to if
you like awesome?

Speaker 1 (55:45):
All right, hang tight?

Speaker 11 (55:46):
Did you say shoot a loop?

Speaker 1 (55:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (55:48):
I did, No, I regretted it is that phrase.

Speaker 11 (55:53):
That's great? Yeah, shoot some goots, but shoot a loot?
Is it just rolls right off the tugue. It's perfect.

Speaker 2 (56:02):
It's like I feel like people probably realize when they
first became infected by something, you know what I mean,
Like you realize, Oh, this is how it starts. This
is where the zombie apocalypse begins. We all are saying,
shoot a lutes, my fam, it is Valentine in the morning.

(56:24):
Shout out to Vivian. What's up Vivian? Listening to our
show with your dad in the car and the way
to school. Appreciate that. If you guys have me to
shout out, do reach out. Three one oh four three.
My kid's driving school on his own.

Speaker 9 (56:38):
Now.

Speaker 10 (56:39):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (56:39):
I don't shout out to him as much when he's
driving school, so I don't want to freak out.

Speaker 11 (56:43):
Oh yeah, he's gotta.

Speaker 2 (56:46):
He's driving, you know. So now he's driving himself. He
get his license. So we kids driving the school and
I'll go, what if it doesn't listen, He'll listen. I'm
gonna check that radio when I get home. I'm gonna
make sure, because make sure it's on the right station.

Speaker 11 (57:02):
Yeah, the number one pre set there.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
With ho ho ho or something. No way, no way,
he would, Yeah, well we'll never know.

Speaker 2 (57:09):
Do you remember he's what he said with Sam Rubin
God rests a rubinsult the nicest. Do you want to
tell the story?

Speaker 7 (57:14):
We were there talking about not very farm, I think,
in the big party there, and then for some reason,
Sam would always ask about other shows, and he asked like,
what do you think about you know, Cayne Coast.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
And Con said, I think he said it's not for me,
not for me. Even Sam asked.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Like Sam asked, but he would like go up and
down the dillet, ask about like serious exam and stuff
like that.

Speaker 1 (57:36):
You checked that, I guess not for me.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
And that's in that particular day he just mentioned our
friends down the hall huh and uh, I almost I
went under the table. If you see the video footage,
I crawl under the news desk and I'm like, Sam,
what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (57:49):
You're gonna get me in trouble at work here, and
I just lost it.

Speaker 11 (57:52):
Well, you expect your son, you expect Valentine's son morning.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
You never know what little kids are going to say either.

Speaker 11 (57:58):
Yeah, but he obviously loves the show. That's all he
listens to, right.

Speaker 1 (58:01):
But the not for me for the other show probably
not the best politics or respectable answer right there.

Speaker 2 (58:06):
And not for me. Yeah, I think not for me
was fine.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
I think that, eh, not for me.

Speaker 2 (58:11):
What do you think about that guy down the hall secret?

Speaker 6 (58:14):
Not for me?

Speaker 10 (58:15):
You know?

Speaker 2 (58:15):
I mean it's just the ant was what got me
in trouble at work, and John Peake took me aside,
took me aside. It was a it was a rough day, guys,
It was a rough day. So if your kids need
a shout out much like they just got there, Uh,
feel free to reach out. Three one oh four three
four Valencin in the morning.

Speaker 4 (58:34):
One o four three my FM. Here's what's coming up
in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 13 (58:39):
So we know Robert Downey Junior is returning to the
Marvel Universe for Doomsday. Now another Marvel hero is expected
to return as well, and this would be iconic.

Speaker 11 (58:55):
I'll tell you who it is. Right after Traffic one
O four.

Speaker 13 (58:57):
To three, my FM Entertainment headlines the plot details for
Avengers Doomsday have really been kept under wraps. We know
Robert Downey Junior is making his return to the Marvel
Cinematic Universe, not as Iron Man, though, he's going to

Nice Sabrina Carpenter Espresso A ten Valentine in the morning,
is anything in the room say espresso, espresso, expresso instead
of espress?

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
So I think I did growing up? Did you really
can I get an expresso?

Speaker 6 (01:05:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:05:03):
Yeah, we're doing get expressos grown up?

Speaker 5 (01:05:06):
I think I is till I worked at Starbucks and
I was like, yeah, how do you make the expressohy?

Speaker 4 (01:05:09):
I'm eight?

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
Can I have an expresso?

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
That was the first thing that corrected me on there,
like espresso espresso? Really?

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
How will I ever remember that? You just wait for
fifteen years fromw girl names Serena Carpenter will come into
your life and she will do a song called Espresso,
and she'll teach all of us a proper.

Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
Way to say it. Thank God. How long did you
work at Starbucks? For two and a half years?

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Do you like it?

Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
I loved it? Is it hard?

Speaker 15 (01:05:33):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:05:33):
I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Really, it's nah, it seems hard. I watched them do it.
It seems hard.

Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
It's memorization, for sure. It gets really busy in there,
you disorders and stuff. Well, then they're delayed quite off
when this new coffee machine system. I'm speaking to the
Starbucks people. Now, your green vest were and loving barista's
and stuff. What's with that machine, it's the one brew cup.
And so now it's not like a pot of coffe
that's pre made and you hit the button comes out.

(01:05:58):
Every time you make a cup, off you for somebody,
it's you got to put it in the machine and
to bruise it instantly.

Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
But that takes more time. That's another thirty forty seconds
per cup. You add that up in drive time. That's
going to delay a lot of people at Starbucks.

Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
I think now. Is that just for roasts that they
don't have in the big pots.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
It's the blonde and the standard roast. They don't use
the big pots mainly anymore. Really, Yeah, they use these
machines that make the cup at most Starbucks now to
make that one cup, and you gotta wait for that
because it grinds beans and makes it.

Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
I'm very up to date on this.

Speaker 13 (01:06:28):
I was on the phone with Valentine this morning when
he was in Starbucks talking to the barista about this machine.

Speaker 2 (01:06:34):
I wanted to talk to somebody about this morning. Well,
I had to stop at Sarbucks.

Speaker 1 (01:06:39):
She was an hour late.

Speaker 2 (01:06:41):
I was ten minutes late because stopped.

Speaker 11 (01:06:43):
Yeah, but it was his you know, when he came
back to the call that. I was like, man, you
are a man of the people, like he was just
chatting everybody that Starbucks this.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
Morning, eavesdropper, this gracious later on this hour. I don't
know how it's here again. I feel like we just
did it yesterday. I don't know why this always feels
like it was just yesterday.

Speaker 1 (01:07:04):
It's once a week, it's on Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
Feels like a lot more than once a week. I
don't know why it feels like it's more than once
a week. Do you have something at your job that
you do once a week, but it really feels like
it's more than once a week. Kimucci's Court, the case
of the Christmas cold Feet? How often does Kamuci's Court happen?
That's that's what's on child. Once a week, but it
just feels like more than once a week. All right,

(01:07:26):

we want to know if things are moving too fast
in his relationship.

Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):

Speaker 11 (01:09:00):
You sure did?

Speaker 9 (01:09:02):
Could be.

Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
They're not good this year. That's the funniest thing I've
ever slipped up on. What NFL football team plays home
games at Gillette Stadium.

Speaker 7 (01:09:20):
The team I grew up with, Pittsford Steelers.

Speaker 2 (01:09:26):
No, that's Briant. They're good this year. My Patriots not
so good.

Speaker 1 (01:09:31):

It's Alicia Keys.

Speaker 2 (01:10:16):
All right. That means we're going to announce a tough
tie breaker question. Holler out your name. If you know
the answer, your name will be your buzzer. Wait until
Brian Burton finishes asking the question before you buzz in.

Speaker 1 (01:10:25):
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would
it be?

Speaker 13 (01:10:28):
Alyssa?

Speaker 11 (01:10:31):
Alyssa was first.

Speaker 26 (01:10:33):
My my eye color.

Speaker 16 (01:10:35):

wind up getting involved with New Broom and founding this?

Speaker 29 (01:18:23):
Definitely so Newbrew develops, you know, out of my personal life.
In the months after quitting drinking, I started to get
really curious about the non alcoholic beverage market. Several months
from there, my wife and I were down in Mexico
and we stumbled into a kava bar, and I had
never heard of kava root, which is one of the

(01:18:43):
ingredients we have in Newbrew, nor had I heard of
kradam leaf, which is the other ingredient. We felt exactly
what I was looking for, what I felt was missing.

Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
And served as an adult drinks.

Speaker 29 (01:18:55):

Speaker 1 (01:21:24):
Welcome too the card room of the Honorable John kimooch E.

Speaker 5 (01:21:30):
Thank you so we got Liam checking in with us today.
He says, my girlfriend and I have been dating for
about two months. Things have been great so far. We
really vibe and I can see this relationship going somewhere
at some point, but he said, we're still in the
getting to know each other face and I don't really
want to rush things. Recently, she invited me to her
family's big holiday event. She said her parents are really
excited to meet me, and it seems like a big

(01:21:52):
deal to her family, and she's already told them about me,
and now they're eager to see who I am. And
while I'm flattered, it feels like meeting the parents this
early is moving a little fast for me. I'm not
ready for the kind of pressure and the expectations that
come with that, and I've explained that to her, saying
that while I really like her and want to keep
things going, I'd prefer to wait a little bit longer
before we take that step. We're still getting to know
each other. She was upset and said that this event

(01:22:14):
is important to her and it doesn't have to be
that serious of a thing. It's normal to meet the
parents during the holidays, so she feels like I'm putting
too much pressure on it and I'm not taking this
relationship seriously. And while I tried to reassure her that
I am now, things feel tense between us. So am
I the jerk for refusing to meet my new girlfriend's
parents this holiday season after less than two months of dating.

Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Well let's go right to little miss rolling my eyes
the entire time. Holy cow, I thought you were going
down Laurel Canyon or something there. Those eyes are rolling.

Speaker 11 (01:22:42):
So I don't think he's got into her. I think
she's a lot more into him than.

Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
Two months. And she wants him to meet to parents, right,
and he says it's too.

Speaker 11 (01:22:53):
Soon, doesn't say it's their boyfriend girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (01:22:55):
He said he used those terms. He did, so maybe
they just moved real fast.

Speaker 13 (01:23:00):
Two months is a long time, I'd say, if you've
been exclusive that whole time, and if you guys are
boyfriend and girlfriend, I understand it's a lot of pressure
and it can be awkward and it be very nervous
about it.

Speaker 2 (01:23:12):
Well, especially it's the holidays. You know, it's not like, hey,
you want to meet my mom and dad. They're gonna
be at the sing down the street whatever the first
time you meet that. Yeah, holidays means everybody else. That's
a lot of people, possibly a lot of extended family
coming in, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins. That's a big thing.
So I'm not saying who's really the jerkyat but you
have to take into account that for some people that's

(01:23:35):
a lot. He might have been from a small family, sure,
so suddenly thirty people at a house surround you a
lot going what's your plan when you get married, having kids?

Speaker 1 (01:23:43):
What's going on? What do you do for living?

Speaker 2 (01:23:44):
You do lose?

Speaker 13 (01:23:45):
And maybe it's different for women, because if you want
me to meet your parents, oh, I'm so excited, I'm
in Like this means something. You know, we're going somewhere.

Speaker 11 (01:23:54):
It's serious. So maybe I just think of it in
those terms.

Speaker 5 (01:23:57):
So Joe, I think you're right that they're not at
the same life with each other. I think they're on
two different pages right now. That's a little bit of
a flag. She's more into him than he is. But
it's only two months in. I don't think you necessarily
have to be there yet, Like he could still be
getting to know her, and I think that's fine. Now
that being said, just go meet her parents. It's not
that deep, dude, you know, like you don't have there's

(01:24:19):
no expectations there. If you guys break up, that's on
her for introducing you that early on. That's not your thing.

Speaker 2 (01:24:23):
Yeah, but you know she wants them to meet the
parents because she's really into the guy.

Speaker 9 (01:24:28):
What.

Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Okay, I never ever brought a girl home to meet
my parents until my wife. Really never never brought a
girl home.

Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
To meet And that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:24:43):
But that is also yet a say on my streets,
right right, I said, turn left on ith end of
the street. I also lived very far away from my
parents most of the time, so it's kind of hard. Yeah,
from Texas was to Connecticut.

Speaker 1 (01:24:57):
I respect for sure. But if you want to do early,
that's that's on her. That's her choice.

Speaker 2 (01:25:01):
Okay, either he doesn't want to do it though he
doesn't want to do it, and she thinks he's a
jerk for not doing it.

Speaker 1 (01:25:06):
Yeah, okay, two.

Speaker 11 (01:25:07):
Months isn't a long time, do you guys? No, that's
a long time.

Speaker 2 (01:25:11):
In a long time two months. How many dates is
two months? I'd say six seven? Yeah, probably right.

Speaker 5 (01:25:16):
Say seeing each other once a week in the beginning,
maybe more when it gets a little bit more exciting,
but not saying it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:21):
Could be like six seven dates in or something like
in a two month period. You know, you're not going
out every night or something. You get work to do
and things, and you don't want to be too overly aggressive.
So six or seven dates you meet the person's parents.
I mean you might be like, who kisses in at
this point? How many kisses in are you?

Speaker 25 (01:25:38):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:25:38):
Maybe kiss in the first day, you waited a few
dates because you're respectful, then you kissed.

Speaker 1 (01:25:42):
Yeah, it's probably more than a few kisses in. I
would I would think.

Speaker 2 (01:25:44):
You think after two months more than a few kisses in?

Speaker 1 (01:25:47):
How many kisses in are you? And once you kiss once,
it's not like you don't kiss the next time, you know? Wow? Yeah? Right,
first one exactly after the first one's out of the way.

Speaker 2 (01:25:55):
Are we still talking about the same thing?

Speaker 11 (01:25:57):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:25:57):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
Anyway, Bryan, your last thoughts on this.

Speaker 7 (01:26:00):
It's not a girl and she's kind of, I don't know,
like him for not respecting his boundaries.

Speaker 13 (01:26:07):
Okay, I think she's just way more into him than
he is in there and that happens.

Speaker 1 (01:26:13):
Right, Oh what do you think?

Speaker 2 (01:26:17):
Three? One O four three? Right after Billy will tell
you how you can see her in concert as well.

Speaker 1 (01:26:22):

Speaker 2 (01:28:19):
Not complain or event I'm not sure where that's going.

Speaker 11 (01:28:21):

this and I was like, oh my gosh, I love it.

Speaker 23 (01:28:25):
That's it.

Speaker 10 (01:28:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:28:27):

Speaker 2 (01:28:30):

Speaker 1 (01:28:32):

friends he's bringing with him is a two thousands dream.

Speaker 11 (01:30:00):
I'll tell you all about it right after Traffic one four.

Speaker 8 (01:30:02):
To three my FM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 13 (01:30:06):
So, Jennifer Love Hewitt, she is teasing, I know what
you did last Summer sequel.

Speaker 11 (01:30:11):
She said, We're so close, you guys.

Speaker 13 (01:30:14):
So she was a part of the movie in nineteen
ninety seven and they're doing a sequel to this film.
Freddy Prince Junior is expected to come back and they're
in talks with Jennifer Love Hewitt to come back as well.

Speaker 11 (01:30:27):
So she's saying that we are so close, which is
so exciting.

Speaker 13 (01:30:32):
And this tour was just announced, and if you are
a fan of any of these artists on their own,
you are going to want to go to this tour
because Nellie is launching this world tour and bringing a
ton of his friends.

Speaker 11 (01:30:46):
So we've got job Rule, We've got Eve, we've got the.

Speaker 13 (01:30:51):
Saint Lunatics, We've got Fabulous, We've got Jermaine Duprie, and
we've got.

Speaker 11 (01:31:01):
They're all going to don't show.

Speaker 2 (01:31:05):
I don't know where he's been shi walks in. Would
you recognize him?

Speaker 1 (01:31:09):
Probably not?

Speaker 11 (01:31:09):
Yeah, I don't think I could either.

Speaker 13 (01:31:11):
But they're all going on the world tour. They're going
to be at into It Dome August when I throw it.
Of course, Nelly's going to be there, and tickets are
going on sale this Friday, ten am our time. But
it's Nellie's World Tour. I'm Jill with their antimd headlines.

Speaker 2 (01:31:27):
K eight fifty seven. Aunt's Valentine in the morning. I
guess I want to reach out three one O four three.
A lot of people on hold waiting to talk about
can wech's court? We'll do that next I'm with you
and step back.

Speaker 16 (01:31:36):
My friend.

Speaker 13 (01:31:41):
Valentine in the morning. It's one O four three MYFM.
We are doing Kamuchi's Court.

Speaker 5 (01:31:45):
So Liam's new girlfriend of two months wants him to
come home and meet her family for their little Christmas
party they do every year. But Liam said, now that's
too soon. It's only been two months.

Speaker 1 (01:31:52):
Is he the jerk?

Speaker 2 (01:31:53):
Susie? How long have you been with your boyfriend?

Speaker 19 (01:31:56):
You know, we're getting to know each other and part
of who he is is his friend and his family.
But I didn't meet his family until like I think
eight months in and that was mostly because one of
his brothers was going to have a wedding, so he
also wanted me to meet them before he introduces me
at the wedding as well.

Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
Yeah, but you think two months is just too soon?

Speaker 19 (01:32:16):
It's too soon. It's way we waite so soon. If
you think about it, like when you start dating each other,
you see each other maybe once, maybe twice a week.

Speaker 2 (01:32:24):
Of pain on your ste want to talk about.

Speaker 19 (01:32:27):
Yeah, as you get more serious with the person, maybe
you'll see them a little bit more. But how how
are you bringing a really important person into.

Speaker 25 (01:32:35):
You know, their lives?

Speaker 10 (01:32:36):
Is it's not no?

Speaker 19 (01:32:37):
What if it doesn't last? You know, anyone could put
up up the thought for a couple of months, but
how do you know that that's the real them?

Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
And so the most important question out of this was
is two months too soon?

Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Definitely?

Speaker 13 (01:32:54):
I guess I was just thinking of it from her
point of view, like, if I'm really into this guy
we've been dating for two months, I'd be so excited
to bring him around my family, and I don't think
it's too soon, but I would have to be very
much into him.

Speaker 2 (01:33:09):
So you are definitely wondering as well, is two months
too soon for two people?

Speaker 15 (01:33:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (01:33:20):
And is it a big deal meeting your parents, because
you've assigned that meaning to be a big deal.

Speaker 1 (01:33:24):
If the parents are casual about it, it's a holiday party,
just go relax, be yourself.

Speaker 19 (01:33:29):
Your family should not be casual. It should be something
important because those people are going to be there for
your rest of your life, and so is this potential person.
So make sure that what you do bring around them
is someone that's going to be there forever.

Speaker 2 (01:33:40):
So you're basically saying that is two months too soon
for two people?

Speaker 1 (01:33:47):
On Tuesday.

Speaker 19 (01:33:53):
I'm sorry, and she can be mad, but she'll if
it doesn't work out, she'll think them later.

Speaker 2 (01:33:59):
Well, Sissy, Thanks for calling and then we appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (01:34:02):

Speaker 8 (01:36:07):
Three things you need to know right now.

Speaker 2 (01:36:10):
Okay, About seven hundred firefighters battling the Franklin Fire broke
out in Malibu last night. This fire is currently burning
twenty two hundred acres near Pepperdine University. The National Weather
Services wind goes up to eighty miles an hour possible
in some mountain areas.

Speaker 1 (01:36:21):
Today.

Speaker 2 (01:36:22):
Thousands of people are under evacuation orders. Keeping an eye
on out myself and live out there in a Westlake area,
not necessarily right next to Malibu, but not far away.
Folks in Calabasas obviously keeping an eye in this as well.
In the Gorey Hills area, the artificial intelligence company open
ai just released a new program that will generate videos
after you type it a prompt. This is the same
company that created a chat GPT, and the new program

(01:36:44):
can make videos of multiple characters and camera shots. The
example open Ai showed when they unveiled a program, We're
an animated monster, and then more realistic videos of people
like a woman walking down a street in Tokyo has
suddenly been attacked but animated monster John what's treading?

Speaker 1 (01:37:01):
So bringing it back to Billy here.

Speaker 5 (01:37:02):
She's bringing her tour to the Kia Forum on December fifteenth,
that's this Sunday to do a week of shows. Now,
even though that's this Sunday, people have been lining up already,
camping out to secure their spot on the floor. Several
tents have been lined up outside the venue. People are
bringing food, water, and even handwarmers, and they're essentially living
there for a week to make sure they have a
good spot. This is going to be a huge couple
of days when that tour comes into town. I couldn't

(01:37:23):
believe it when I saw it. I'm John Kamuchi. That's
what's tining on socials.

Speaker 2 (01:37:26):
Hey, we do have those tickets if you want in
for Billie Eilish. We're going to have a bunch here
