Speaker 1 (00:00):
Valentine in the morning one three my FM Listen Anywhere
with the iHeartRadio app full disclosure of the Oscars this weekend.
I hope a lot of you enjoyed it. In the
smaller quake afterwards, I watched the opening with Conan O'Brien
loved it. Got dirty very fast, you a little dirty
there with my son on the couch and uh the

(00:20):
pleasing of ladies. Oh yes, yes, I as well should
have been consulted if that gentleman needed information. And I
saw the movie that got the Oscar for top movie.
That's everything. Okay, So if anybody's like me, here comes
a very big recap from Jill.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
So I know you saw Conan in his opening, but
did you see Ariana Grande and Cynthia Rivo.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Nope?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Okay, So they opened the show. They are the stars
of Wicked, and they took turns singing tributes to the
Wizard of Oz and the Wiz. Ariana sang over the Rainbow,
then Cynthia sang Home, and then they came together to
sing Defying Gravity from Wicked.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Loose, No Wizard is Loose.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
That was the first time they sang that live as
far as I know.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
It was amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
The whole opening was so great.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Con O'Brien comes out to host and his opening monologue
was very very good. But my favorite part and a
lot of people's favorite part from the opening salum or
the opening monologue was he points out Adam Sandler in
the crowd, who is not asked in the tucks. He's
in his normal standard sweatshirt and basketball shorts.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
You're dressed like a guy playing video poker at two
am at him, and you know what going to like
the way I look?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
He cuts. I'm a good person. I don't care about
what I wear, but when I don't wear good Night
by snazzy Jim shorts and fluffy sweatshirt offend you.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
So much that you had to mock me in front
of my beer. I'm sorry, Adam, I apologize, I'm going,
I'm getting off. I go yeah later, I have to.
It's not you, No, it's not you.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
It's him.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
He's the watering you cause this. But I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
You are all welcome to join me for a game
of five on five basketball at better In Park. Good
Night Midnight tip Off. The guy from Nose to Rot
for where is he he's on my team. One more thing,

(02:59):
shut out the face.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
He says, it was so good that sweatshirt that Adam
Sandler was wearing. That's seventy five dollars. It sold out
the Oscars done.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
You're kidding me. Yes, yeah, my kid is one of those.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Oh he does. Oh, it's sold out before that that stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
So that my kid has versus what I have, my
wife has versus what I have. I felt like that
sound has potential in this rim though. I can see
Val doing the double over to that sound. Yeah, I love.
It's like, why not what I'm saying? And then I'm like,
Sam Man gonna come back, like in a suit. I
don't know if he ever came back.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
I never saw him again, right, and I never saw him.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I did my bit. I'm leaving.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Honora was the big winner, won Best Picture and then
five awards total. Mikey Madison the star of Anora. She
won Best Actress. It also won Best Director, Best Original Screenplay,
and Best Film Editing. There was some history made as well.
Zoe Saldania won Best Supporting Actress for Amelia Perez. She's
the first America of Dominican origin to accept an Academy Award.
And then also Paul Tazewell made history, is the first

(04:05):
black man to win Best Costume Design for Wicked.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
So Nora was the one that you saw, right, John,
And that's a very naked one, very much so. And
that was an indie one was the independent film.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
They said that it cost him six million dollars to
make it.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
That was that's an independent film. Yeah, yeah, six million bucks. Wow,
But you loved it. I loved it. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I'm just saying. Brian is also no, he did.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
This.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
We all said our own movie was gonna win. He
watched one single movie and then said it wasna win. No,
He's like the guy from n snl oh. I didn't
really watch that guy. I didn't watch that either.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
That was me. I felt like that was me.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Right, Well, you fell asleep during two and two

Speaker 2 (04:49):
In the morning weekdays from five till ten on four
