Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily, help us respectful to say I love you.
The full show podcast starts right now.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Good morning, Jill. How are you today?
Speaker 4 (00:13):
Good morning? Doing well for Wednesday?
Speaker 2 (00:16):
All right?
Speaker 5 (00:16):
Oh that's a bummer because it is Thursday.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Wait, today's Thursday.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
Today is Thursday. I'm even better, Joe.
Speaker 6 (00:24):
That's the one day of the week I give you
a post on my social fees, you know, just so
you know what day it is.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
I saw it yesterday day.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Uh, Camels, did I mute you?
Speaker 5 (00:36):
If you haven't seen it in a couple of weeks,
then did you mute me?
Speaker 3 (00:39):
No, it's there.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
I don't remember seeing your camel in a little bit.
Maybe I muted it.
Speaker 4 (00:44):
It starts out with the man at the desk.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Well, I alternate clips everything he does.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
It's not the same clip, because.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
I don't want people to be like it's the same
clip every.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, he takes a different spot of the clip the
home day. Yeah. Hey Mike, Hey Mike, you know what
day it is? Hey Mike, you know what day is?
Speaker 5 (00:58):
For this reason to help you out.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
Yeah, well, I feel better.
Speaker 7 (01:01):
So it's Thursday, tomorrow's Friday.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
I'm good you okay, No.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Jean, how are you?
Speaker 6 (01:09):
I'm feeling good man Friday, Junior, this is like another
good day of the week.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
After Wednesday, it's all downhill. Yeah, it is downhill a
good way. So John and I were sitting here yesterday
after the show and we were coming up with ideas
for the show, and you had left you and Laura
had gone already, and John I were just doing nothing right.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
When we're done, Laura and I like.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
To leave, and John I just like, So we're sitting here.
We came up with an idea for when Brian gets
back next week, a contest between John and Brian. Okay,
and I'll be running the contest. I'll provide the necessities.
And this turns into a little bit of a bro show,
but it's not necessarily bro show. And I don't know.
I just want to see the offense level here. And
(01:48):
if I've crossed a line with this, right, can you
guess or do you know? Do you know your nuts?
And so what we're gonna do you don't not get
yet They're each going to be blindly handed a nut
and they have to put the nut in their mouth
(02:09):
and then let me know if they know they're nuts.
Do you know your nuts? And you have to guess
the nut by the taste of the nuts. And this
came from a very innocent place, I did. We have
snacks in our snack room every day.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
My favorite thing to snack on are peanuts, occasionally cashews.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
They have almonds over there. I'm pretty familiar with my nuts.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Okay, walnuts, all those nuts. Now, if you really wanted
to make it like crazy, you break the nuts up.
Because if you give somebody a Brazilian nut, they know
right away they have a Brazilian nut in their mouth.
It's a big old shape and right it's a big
nut in your mouth, So you'd know that like right away.
Yes that was that was your line. Okay, But I
feel like les, cashews, you know, pistachios, and there's so
(02:48):
many nuts out there in this world. Who would know,
like it, have ten nuts if they knew their nuts.
Speaker 5 (02:53):
I think I would, like, I genuinely think, genuinely think
I'd be really good.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, that's a great challenge, like one of our dumb games,
you know, And.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Yeah, well the name can catch you off guard.
Speaker 7 (03:02):
If you're just tuning in, you don't know what exactly
you're doing, and you're saying, how well do you know
your nuts?
Speaker 4 (03:06):
I've got nuts in my mouth.
Speaker 7 (03:08):
It's going to sound do you see one hundred percent?
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Said?
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Okay, if we don't.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
The second part felt a little weird. But what about
the first part?
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Do you know your nuts?
Speaker 5 (03:18):
I feel like that.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
It's fine, that's fine, right, do you know your nuts?
Speaker 8 (03:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (03:23):
That is what they're called. So we weren't.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
No one's asking you to play.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
I gladly play. I feel like I know my nuts. See,
it's weird, you see, being on the end of it change.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
I don't know what you're talking about. It was mainly
just between the two of them. That was one of
those ideas, another idea that I were talking about. We
found out that Laura had casually mentioned that series having
a hard time with her Australian accent. Yes, and she's
saying some stuff and then Siria responds with something so
either inappropriate or wildly off base, it becomes kind of funny.
(03:58):
You know, Okay, I'm not going to give an example
because it might seem like I'm going down a little path,
and that's not the path I'm going down based on
how well do you know your nuts and stuff? If
I said, you know, Laura is asking it about what
Alito Deck was, and it didn't hear her her accent
well and just came out with a weird response. Okay,
but I thought it'd be fun too to play back
(04:19):
the responses Siri gives Laura, based in her Australian accent.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
I like that too.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Yeah, these are good games.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Yes, all this two fun games.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Coming up on Valentine in the morning, not today because
we have to run it past John Peak first.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah, we should have came up with one like PG game.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Well they are PG.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Yeah, they're not that bad. But you know it's what listen,
If it sounds dirty, it's not us, it's you. You
know you've got a dirty mind. All right, Natalia Press
got that morning traving to tell you what's going on.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
To listen anywhere with the free iHeartRadio app Let's go one,
four to three.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
I've got an appointment this afternoon with a college recruiter
for my son for sports, not any particular school. It's
they have these college recruiters that help you find your
way to a certain college. Right there, are some colleges
that my kid targeted because he plays soccer and he
wants to continue soccer at a higher level. I said,
education is the most important thing. It's not about just
(05:15):
playing a sport in college. Now, if you're somebody wants
to go pros, fine, whatever, But he's not looking to
go pro, you know. He wants to get into the
medical field and do that stuff. So the education becomes
the most important thing. And if you can't play soccer
and it's part of your life, I'm all for it,
and let's root for it and do our best to
get there. But it's funny, like he just pulled out
(05:35):
a bunch of schools that have like soccer programs and stuff,
and I'm like, do they all have your major goes? Yeah,
most of them have a major. I'm like, okay. Then
he pulled out this one school which shall remain nameless,
and I ran the numbers. I'm like, dude, they're gonna
give you an academic scholarship based on like he is smart.
He's a smart kid. His SAT was pretty good to
probably get better because he's taking it like two more
(05:56):
times now, as GPA is like a four point two
and so really smart kid ap classes, honors classes and stuff.
And I'm like, this is like kind of like the
college I went to that you picked here, I think
you're gonna be valedictorian before you even start.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Did they have a really good soccer program there?
Speaker 2 (06:12):
They did, did a good soccer prok Okay, Like it
can't just be about that. You have to look at
the academics as well and make sure you're matched with
a school that will challenge you. You don't want to
go to school just to have fun, do nothing, slack off,
play soccer and coast your classes, you know, because I
did that. I mean I went to Yukon and that
was tough. But then I left Ucon went to community
college and I had to take electives and my electives
(06:35):
were all stuff that I knew. I coasted and that
was wrong because it didn't challenge me. Like I had
gone to Yukon for music education, so I was a
really good musician. I played altol sacks. That's my entire
youth doing that stuff. So then I go to community
college after I left Yukon, and I'm taking music theory. Basically,
what's this note? See b Like they put it right
(06:58):
there on a piece of paper have to name the notes.
It's like someone who never took a music class before,
and I'm taking that for credits. I'm like, what am
I doing? I literally coasting, didn't have the show for class,
show for the test that I'm out the door in
fifteen minutes because I was a musician, you know, So
I don't want him coasting and want him challenging himself. Yeah,
you know, it's gotta be the right school in that respect.
So we're talking to some sports recruit this afternoon too,
(07:20):
so we'll see where that goes.
Speaker 7 (07:21):
I don't know what it is about me, and I've
actually brought this up in therapy before because it kind
of scares me a little bit. But my college years
I don't have any memories of I don't remember my
professor's names. I don't remember the rooms, like the halls
that we had the classrooms day. For some reason, that
whole span of my life I don't really remember.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
Now, it was just school for me. I wouldn't live
on campus or anything. But like, it's so weird.
Speaker 7 (07:49):
And we tried like going back, and she was like, well,
I don't know why you don't have these.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Memories, Like I don't know why either. I don't know
if i'd bring me.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Let me take a break because we're back down in time.
But I have thoughts on that. Oh really, if anybody
else has gone through something similar to that too, where
you just don't have memories of a specific time in
your life, Okay, I do have some thoughts on that.
Let me take a little break, come right back though.
It's Valence in.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
The nineties now.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Jill's talking about not having any real tangible memories from college,
remembering teacher's names, remembering walking the hallways for a college
campus and stuff. Uh, and you were scared about that.
Talked to your therapist about that, and your therapist didn't
have an answer to why you don't have those memories.
Speaker 7 (08:26):
No, I remember two of my friends' names that were there,
and then I remember the graduation party we had at
the restaurant. I remember you being there, Val and Leilani,
and then other than that remember it?
Speaker 4 (08:40):
I don't. It was that on the border.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Oh I love that, Oh my god. Yeah, it was
such a place.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
But other than that, I don't really remember college at all.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
So I don't have a lot of memories as compared
to some of my friends from high school and my youth.
I have certain snapshots of my youth that stand out,
certain moments that stand out. But I feel like I
should have more memories, and arguably probably the same for
college too, And that scares me because my mom is Alzheimer's.
But I don't think it's that. I just think the
(09:11):
way my brain is wired, perhaps some of the way
your brain is wired too, doesn't remember that other things
that people have said to me, done to me, whatever.
Certain things like phone numbers of ex girlfriends, whatever, sometimes
are locked in forever. Certain things are just locked in forever.
And I remember a lot of like stuff now, like conversations,
like short term stuff. But there's certain certain some certain
(09:33):
like long term things. I just don't have those memories.
And I feel bad because my friends will talk to
me about stuff we did in high school. I'm like,
I just don't really remember that. And I'm not forgetful
or rude in the sense that I just didn't care enough.
It just it didn't right itself to a hard drive
in my mind for whatever reason. But I don't think
because if you have it, I have and other people
(09:54):
have it, I don't know what that is. I don't
think it's dementia, Alzheimer's or anything like that, because it's
been like that for a long time, and if it
was something like that, that would have progressed, you know. So
it's not like early on set or anything like that.
I just don't have those memories. But other stuff I'm
sharp as attack of.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yeah, that's me.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
My therapist said.
Speaker 7 (10:11):
The one thing she thought was that maybe there were
other things in my life that were way more significant, right, Yeah,
and that's what I remember. That's what I focus on. Yeah,
college is significant, but I like.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
To know what those other significant things work, because I'm
not sure I have those memories either.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
I really know.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
Well, no, I just don't have tons of verifiable memories.
But my mind works strange where I just I write
little screenplays in my mind on a daily basis. I
can also tell you that Phil Collins in the Air
tonight is a minute eleven second intro who keeps that
dumb stuff in the lot? So it's one minute and
eleven seconds before Phil Collins says I confeeter comment in
(10:49):
the Yeah, right, you know, I don't know any thoughts.
Reach out if you're somebody who knows this stuff. Three
one oh four three. We got some texts coming in here.
This is kind of a long text and they sent
me a link to this, so I'll just read you
what's from the link. Why some people don't remember childhood
or high school, Well, we're talking about that, Jill and I.
(11:10):
Our memories are not like the filing cabinets that many
other people have of their childhood or high school memories.
Brain development in childhood amnesia, the brain structures involved in
long term memory, especially the hippocampus, are still maturing in
early childhood. Your brain's out fully formissage like twenty five
or twenty six, right. Most people naturally experience something called
childtad amnesia, meaning we have few or no memories before
(11:33):
three or four and spotty ones into early grade school.
Then there's emotional filtering and memory and coding. The brain
prioritizes memories that are emostally significant. So it wasn't emotionally significant.
The brain may not write that to your little hard drive.
And if you experienced emotionally neglect strasso trauma, that's a
whole different thing. Then personality focus. This is kind of
(11:53):
the fascinating part of why you may not have this.
There is no plus or minus good or bad to this.
Some people are future or or pragmatic thinkers. They simply
don't rehearse the past often, so memories start to fade. Now,
how do you bring those memory back up? How do
you bring those memories back up? Pictures, videos of the past.
Looking at those sometimes can bring those memories back up
(12:16):
and kind of reprint them so you don't forget them
as much. Is it a concern? Not necessarily no, because
you know you think about like dementia or something like
that you're frequently It's only concerned if you're frequently forgetting
recent conversations, which I don't.
Speaker 9 (12:31):
Right.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
I can tell you right now that looking at Jill,
there are certain moments that she has done stuff to
me that I'll never forget.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
That is true.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
And he brings of my voice when I was singing
here in the studio on time on a video. Also
when I went for a little slappy make daddy happy
and you wouldn't give me a high five. So I
feel like I'm okay.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
That will remember those until the day I die.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Thank you. Yep. People if they notice changes in your
memory focus of personnelity, that's in the flag obviously, right, Yeah,
if you feel unusually fogg you're disconnected, especially in your
forties or fifties. I'm always foggy, But that could not
be dementially. It might be stress, burnout, depression and sleep
appen and things like that.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
Just like not thinking about college, those memories will fade.
I wonder if I went back and I walked to
the library or something, if things would.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Come back to if I walk to Campus of the
Yukon or somebody.
Speaker 6 (13:20):
Yeah, you probably just didn't have any very strong emotions
throughout your college, yeah, and so there's just.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
No reason to really hold onto those.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Yes, But I think for me and I'm very nostalgic.
So it's not that I don't look back in the past.
I love the eighties, I love nostalgia. But I think
I was always looking forward. Like in radio, I was
always trying to get to the next radio station, you know.
In marching band, I was trying to make it the
drum major. So I wasn't looking back. I was very
much what's my next step, you know. And now I've
reached the point in my career life where I'm not
(13:47):
necessarily looking for me for the next step. I'm looking
for the next step for my family, you know what's
for them.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
We got deep this morning.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah yeah, I like it. Yeah, Brian's been holding us back.
Our producer, Brian's been well wait we started the show
like can you do you know your nuts?
Speaker 8 (14:05):
That's true?
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Right, Well that was a conversation. Yeah, I know. He
wasn't here for that.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
One O four to three my FM Entertainment headlines.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Netflix has released a preview of.
Speaker 7 (14:17):

Project before he passed.
Speaker 7 (14:23):
He's going to be a judge on this reality competition.
Show Building the Band will debut on July ninth on
Netflix in six episodes we released over two weeks. I
Liam Payne actually taped the finale just weeks before he passed,
and Netflix said that Liam's family reviewed the series and
is supportive of his inclusion. And Deadpool and Wolverine and
(14:44):
Thunderbolts lead the fifth Critics Choice super Awards with six
film nominations each, including Best Superhero Movie. Then Hugh Jackman,
Ryan Reynolds, David Harbert, Jennifer Garner, Julia Louis Dreypus and
Florence pew All received acting nominations. I'm Jill with entertipid
headlines on Valentine in the Morning, one.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Four to threem Adam Levine coming up in the show.
He's going to be in studio tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (15:19):
Music.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
It's just music.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
I can't wait. Yeah, I'm mostly excited for John.
Speaker 6 (15:24):
I'm pretty excited to me and I'm excited for this
new album, like he's gonna be on the stage at
the iHeartRadio Music Festival. And he also said an albums
coming this sea or so. I always get excited about
numer in five albums.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Got it? Also this hour in studio Royalty, Absolute Royalty
in studio today on Valencine in the morning. Coming up,
Megan and Harry no Cota, Sir Richard Branson in studio
here on Valentine in the morning. Hey, any musicians out
(15:54):
there want to come perform at my mom's memory care
center for free? Maybe they pay, I don't know, tempting,
Oh yeah, sign me up. I know a lot of
kids do that, like with school and stuff like that,
but this is me and they don't need me there anymore.
Speaker 10 (16:10):
You know, you job job Did you.
Speaker 3 (16:23):
Say good job to yourself?
Speaker 2 (16:26):
They were singing, al okay, good job you did a
great job, Valentine, You're the best Irish singer ever. A
good job.
Speaker 7 (16:34):
I know you can't post the video because those but
the video is so sweet because there's just all these
people and they are just fixated on you and they
are loving you like you have everybody's attention in that room.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
If you want to get an ego boost, if you
want to feel good about yourself, even if you don't
have a great voice, even if you're not the best
looking person in that world or in that room.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
People in their eighties and nineties love visitors.
Speaker 5 (17:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Yeah, they have such grace about them. You could walk
in there and be singing like me and they're like,
oh that guy. What an entertainer taking the Vegas? What
a guy. And the amount of times I have heard
can I tell you something? Yeah, go ahead, I listen.
I watch you and I watch you, Moda. You're a
(17:23):
great son. You're a great great son. I wanted you
to know that you're a great son. I'm like, oh,
thank you very much. Race with you and I'll tell
you something. If I was twenty years younger, you and me,
oh oh my god, Elizabeth, stop a lot.
Speaker 7 (17:39):
Well, they probably will have their family members coming to
visit as often as you do when you go.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
See why this blessed because he's right down the street now.
But it is hard. I mean, if you have a
family member that's in a memory care center or's just living,
you can't get there all the time. I know that's
frustrating hard. We live in a country where it'd be
great if all of our parents could live at home
with us. There are a lot of cultures, Asian and
Latino cultures I think are so beautiful in the respect
that they'll bring the family memory into the home and
you'll have three generations under one room. That is something
(18:04):
that Western culture, you know, my world hasn't really grown
up with. And then you get these ideas of assisted
living and mary care and stuff, and it's there for
a medical reason too. I do think it's gorgeous if
you can pull that off, but it's a lot of
stress on the family, and it wasn't right for us.
So we found one right down the street for me,
so I can visit every single day. But if you're
(18:25):
a family that's able to pull it off, and you
got grandma, grandpa and everybody right in the same house,
God love you because that's beautiful.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
Now will you make trips to people's houses to sing?
Speaker 7 (18:34):
Or is this just a just here the memory?
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Okay, okay, yeah, well I did sing to Annie was
she was alive?
Speaker 8 (18:43):
You did?
Speaker 10 (18:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (18:44):
My grandma and she said the same thing to me.
Speaker 4 (18:47):
Twenty years out she does.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
If this is thirty years ago, you and.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
Me talk about my grandmother that way.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
It's one of four to three in my fam it
is Valence in the morning. If you want to reach
out eight sixty six, five, four or four, my fam
text line is open three one oh four three coming
up next in studio, Sir Richard Branson stopping by the show. Possibly,
I believe we may have a giveaway for you as
nineties two No.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
One oh four three maya FB.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
In the studio, Sir Richard Branson around BEFO. My kid
is so stoked that you were coming in here. I've
got a seventeen year old son. He just thinks you're
the best.
Speaker 11 (19:24):
Ah lovely, Well give him, give him my best and
tell him I love him.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
If if he's his name is Colin, you can say
to me, okay, hi Colin, Yeah, good old iris kid.
Speaker 11 (19:33):
Colin, You're an absolute delight because you said nicely about.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
That's all it takes. That's all it takes. So today
you're here because we're gonna talk about Virgin of Voyage's
newest ship, the Brilliant Lady. I love cruises. I've only
been on one. Jill's a Cruz Masters. She loves him
as well. Now our pitch to you before even talk
about your ship. We've never broadcasted live from a cruz.
Other shows in this building have, and we feel like
a step child. We need to broadcast live from the
(19:58):
letle deck or whatever you got.
Speaker 11 (20:00):
Come on massage the shelder, no task.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
What do you think could we be on that ship?
Speaker 11 (20:09):
I'll let you know. She said, good, good massage.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
Listen, I actually give a better massage.
Speaker 11 (20:16):
I think we're getting we're getting close close. Yeah, I
think I think you should. You should definitely be broadcasting.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
From It's a done deal. It's a deal.
Speaker 11 (20:26):
Rolling Stones voted ship the place to go for music lovers.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
So is this do you own Rolling Stone?
Speaker 12 (20:32):
No more?
Speaker 2 (20:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 11 (20:35):
It's an unbiased.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
We'll believe me.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
When we broadcast live, we'll give an unbiased opinion as well.
So the new ship Brilliant Lady makes her debut in
twenty twenty six. What's the best part about the brand
new ship, Because anytime you build something big and new,
you do different stuff.
Speaker 11 (20:52):
Obviously, So I have never been on a cruise line,
and I asked myself a few years ago why I've
never been on a cruise line, and it just never
really really appealed to me. And so I got our
teams together. We got two big sheets of paper and
we wrote down all the reasons why we would never
go on a cruise line. Then we wrote another on
(21:15):
the other bit of paper, all the ways we could
perhaps make a Virgin a very different kind of ship.
And you know, one of those ideas was, let's make
it a really fun adult only ship because nobody else
does that, and make it very different from Saya Disney.
We have the best eateries on the ship, no boufet
(21:35):
lines and really intimate restaurants. Let's make sure we have
the best entertainment and clubs on board, and make sure
it's really fun. Let's make sure we go to one
hundred and thirty best destinations in the world. So we
ended up getting four ships. This is our four ship,
Brilliant Lady, that's going to do the West Coast of America.
(21:57):
The others do the Caribbean, they do the Mediterranean. You know,
I've had my birthday on them. My son's about to
have his birthday.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Oh that's great, and.
Speaker 11 (22:05):
They're fun, fun, fun. The only downside is that my
grandkids are really pissed off with me because because.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
They're aten eighteen something like that. Yeah yeah, Papa, we
love you, but you can't even sneak your own grandkids
on this thing. Oh boy, it's a tight captain, you
got there.
Speaker 11 (22:22):
Yeah, I've just told them to grow up fast.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Now. Actually you can. If April twenty twenty six seems
too far away, you can sail on Brilliant Ladies starting
September departures from New York overnights and sunny Bermuda lungreat
iterations from Miami. I mean, we'll post all this, but
dear God, lots of fun stuff. We'll take whatever. You
have no problem with that.
Speaker 11 (22:42):
And somewhere I've always wanted to go, Brilliant Lady'll go
to Alaska.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Oh my god, we love Alaska.
Speaker 11 (22:49):
So it's yeah. Either at the West Coast has got
lots of fantastic destination.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
The Earth is a brilliant place. There's so many wonderful
destinations here. Do you force your future when Virgin is
cruising those people to the moon and beyond?
Speaker 11 (23:04):
Yes, well we were sort of on the way.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
I know we're getting close. But do you think do
you think we'll see it in anybody's lifetime here?
Speaker 11 (23:11):
Well, I mean Virgin Galactic is sort of pioneering in
our own small way, you know, getting.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Getting people into space tourism.
Speaker 11 (23:19):
And you know, our new ships are all being busily
being built at the moment, and you know, one thing
leads on to another, and so one day I wouldn't
be at all surprise to see moon landings another.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
How do I mean you have so many companies, you
have your hands on so many things. You've got to make.
Your ship's waterproof and your ship's airproof. Everything's proof because
there's something a proof. Yeah, space proof everything.
Speaker 11 (23:43):
No, I mean we've we've I've been lucky to I
just think you're looking around with you know, Virgin Radio
in London still goes strong with Chris Evans.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Do you still have that too, that's still your it
is still involved with We'll do that too. A broadcasting
or two. Wherever you've got a microphone. You can count
in this show coming in, right, John, Hey, yeah, I'll
be there.
Speaker 11 (24:01):
But I was have you ever heard of Chris Evans?
Speaker 2 (24:04):
The name sounds vague and familiar.
Speaker 11 (24:05):
Yeah, he's like you know God in radio Okay, he's
like you in radio in I.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Don't think so, I don't think. I appreciate it. Very
sweetie to say. I was.
Speaker 11 (24:16):
I was being interviewed on Radio one, Yeah, and he
was the interviewer and he had the biggest show on
Radio one and live on radio. At the end of
the show, I said, you should come work for Virgin,
So I don't think I should really talk about this
fourteen million people right right exactly. And then afterwards we
had a chat and he came, work for Virgin.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Yes, you work to have a deal after that. Oh,
that's very funny.
Speaker 11 (24:40):
But anyway, we look forward to getting you on. Yeah
voyage and I mean it's been voted I think best
cruise line for the last three years. That's amazing everything
and it's just a really fun fun way of spending
a few days.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
That's a big sense of pride for people that work
in the cruise ship too. When you guys are voted
that you know, everybody who works from you know, just
turn to the is going to be one thing to
continue there.
Speaker 11 (25:02):
Get that accolade. I mean, I think.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Pride in your work.
Speaker 11 (25:05):
People.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
People love to be.
Speaker 11 (25:07):
Praised and they and they deserve to be praised and
that's what makes people smile and you know, and throw
themselves into what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
But obviously, when the big boss of a company comes in,
how do you keep that dynamic where it's a free
flow and dynamic with your employees.
Speaker 11 (25:22):
You know, I started when I was sixteen years old,
so running running companies and I mean I hate the word.
You know, we are like a company of family, but
we aren't like a family, no, I get. And you know,
so we're friends, we're every every everybody can speak open
about any anything and everything.
Speaker 12 (25:42):
You know.
Speaker 11 (25:42):
The fact that I'm better well known boss and how
that other bosses means the camera comes out quite a lot.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Right right exactly.
Speaker 11 (25:49):
Yeah, But it's really really really nice friendly, you know,
just to get to know people.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
And now you do have that dynamic when you enter
a room. I didn't feel intimidated by you. Now, that's
sure if you're going faun or not.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
If you're going for it.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Sorry, but you seem like a genuine nice guy.
Speaker 11 (26:05):
Well, thank you, thank you for that. I think life's
a lot more fun being being yourself.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (26:10):
Amen, And I'm not trying to load it over people.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
I agree you're.
Speaker 11 (26:15):
Bringing this conversation to an awkward close.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
No no, no, no, because where no, there is the
closes where you go and by the way, I want
you to come work for virgin and I go. No,
we'll talk about that.
Speaker 11 (26:25):
Yeah, your boss is in the next door room. I
mean he's bigger than that.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
More worry about it, Sir Richard Branson, Thank you very much.

The Witch, and most recently Nosferatu. Say I'm that right,

writing the role of Ebenezer Scrooge for his longtime collaborator
Willem Dafoe.

a Christmas Carol. And Brad Garrett starred.
Speaker 7 (29:12):
In Everybody Loves Raymond and it's been two decades since
the show has gone off the air, and he has
revealed why there will never be a reboot. He talked
to People magazine and he said that is something that
Ray Romano and the show's creator have always said, but
the primary reason is that the two actors who played
Ray's parents have both passed away, and he said there
(29:33):
is no show without the parents, and so therefore there
will never be a reboot of Everybody Loves Raymond.

What movie was it?
Speaker 9 (31:47):
Oh?
Speaker 16 (31:51):
Then, I'm sorry, I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
What's going on in the background? Who is that? Is
that your world or is that Adrian's world? What's going on?
Who's in the background talking? Who is that?
Speaker 5 (32:14):

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Three things you need to know right now.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Seven eighteen It's Valentine in the morning. This is one
of four to three MIFM so very sad news to
report this morning. An Era India flight to London crash
shortly after taking off from Edabad. There were two hundred
and forty two people on board. It appears or no survivors.
The Boeing seven eighty seven Dreamliner crashed into a residential
building near Medical College in India. Officials say the plane
signal was lost seconds after it took off. It crashed
(33:58):
a few minutes later. It's your first crash ever involving
that massive Dreamliner from Boeing, the seven eighty seven. Costco
will soon like Customer's Shop without crowds. It's a new
perk for those who pay for Costco's Executive membership tier,
so it costs me been one hundred and thirty bucks
a year instead of the normal sixty five dollars feet
Executive members will be able to shop for thirty minutes
(34:19):
to an hour earlier than the general public, beginning at
nine am. The new perk is set to begin in
June thirtieth. A lot of places do stuff like that,
Like doesn't Disney have like a dream hour or something
like that.
Speaker 4 (34:29):
They do they have a special hour.
Speaker 7 (34:30):
I believe that you're staying at a hotel there on
property speak.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
In for like one hour earlier. We did that one
time over there.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
It's so nice.
Speaker 2 (34:37):
It was great. It was kind of like a rainy,
drizzly day. It was for Collin's birthday and he might
have been eight or something like that, and so we
got to sneak in. No one's in the park because
it was rainy and drizzly, and it was also an
hour earlier before they opened up to the public. So
I posted all these pictures like, hey, purchase a park
for my son's birthday, going all out. People literally thought
I purchased a park for my son's birthday. They paying Dude,
(35:00):
you are thinking of the wrong frequency at I heard.
If you think that's what I'm doing, John, what's training
your music?
Speaker 9 (35:06):
Well?
Speaker 6 (35:06):
Sabrina Carpenter is wasting absolutely no time bringing the hits.
So she just dropped a new track called Man Child,
and now yesterday she just announced her next album, which
is going to be here by the end of August.
It's going to be called Man's Best Friend. And considering
Short and Sweek came out August of last year, she
is like not taking her foot off the pedal. Another
album from Sabrina will be coming out this year.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
I'm John Camuci. That's today's trending music.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Seven twenty six. It's one of four to three. I fam,
it's Valentine in the morning, good morning, welcome to the show.
Last day at school, give us a shout. This one says,
where is it, good morning Valentine. Would you be able
to give a shout out to my daughter for their
last day of school between seven thirty and seven thirty five?
Oh wait, ahead of time. I know it's a small window,
but they have a short commute. Aaron and Aba Glendell
Elementary in a special shout out to Erin for a
(35:50):
sixth grade promotion. Mom and Dad are so proud of you.
Thank you very much, you guys for the best. I
don't know if I can hit that window.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
We got to do it again.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
No, you can't do it. You know someone will tell them, no,
we can't be doing shout out requests based on five
minute windows. There's millions of people that listen of like,
hold on, folks, this five minute window is now assigned
to so and so. Yeah, it's gotta I'm sure they're
in the car. I'm sure they're heard, and I hope
they have a great day. I'm sure it's totally totally fine.
Producer Brian out here today, butod hey sent some topics
(36:18):
for the show. This is one that you'll thinks would
be good.
Speaker 7 (36:20):
Yeah, what are some stereotypical things dads do? He thought
that'd be fun since Father's Day is on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Okay, so stereotypes on dads. What are some examples here?
Speaker 4 (36:29):
He said, sneeze loud, that's him.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
He does that is loud.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
Go around and turn off all the lights.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
I do do that stereotypical dad thing. I turn them
off all the time. I don't understand why people leave
them on.
Speaker 4 (36:40):
You can fall asleep in any chair.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
I can fall asleep anywhere.
Speaker 11 (36:44):
Yah.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
And then stand outside and stare off into the distance.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
What sends Sarah in the distance?
Speaker 4 (36:50):
Have you ever done that?
Speaker 14 (36:51):
No?
Speaker 2 (36:51):
Why would I do that?
Speaker 4 (36:52):
A cup of coffee and.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Just stand outside and look at the open planes?
Speaker 3 (36:57):
That you do that?
Speaker 2 (36:58):
It's usual work there. You know, you're working your way there. Okay,
But just standing there and staring off into the distance, Yeah,
looking for an iceberg or something. I don't know what
are we looking for?
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Dads do that?
Speaker 2 (37:10):
I only do that if the hillsides are on fire,
then I'll stand outside and stare off at that. Okay, Yeah, yeah,
eight sixty six five four four FM. Texting three one
oh four three. What's something stereotypical that dads do? Father's
Dale remind us coming up this weekend? Right, yeah, Sunday,
Thank you, reminding everybody in my life too. Text to
Valentine in the morning at three one oh four to three,
(37:30):
seven thirty four. The weather today Sunday, stay afternoon high
stloed to mid eighties, upper sixties, low seventies doing the beaches.
Jill's got the entertainment headlines coming up.
Speaker 7 (37:39):
Netflix has an animated Stranger Thing spin off in the works,
and they released some new details yesterday.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
I'll tell you all about it coming up.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Seven fifty went down the text line. Have compiled a
bunch here from the text line, so I'll just read
them off fast. Things that are stereotypical for dad's Father's
Day coming up this weekend. I think you might sell
your weekend soccer. I think we have like four games
scheduled or something. Yeah, so hop Father's Day you do
get to watch your son play soccer. That's fun. Refuses
to hire anybody. This dad of mine will spend six
hours watching YouTube videos instead of hiring somebody for like
(38:09):
one hundred bucks using duct tape for everything. True. If
I run out of duct tape at my house, I
feel like I'm naked. Yeah, I've got duct tape, like
it's always there for something. Does not ask for directions.
My dad with the GPS, he's pretty sure it's just
around the corner. He doesn't use it. Starts road trips
at five am so we beat the traffic. Gets annoying,
(38:32):
always mad about the gas and being too expensive. He
heard you talking about a Valentine in the air and said,
my god, he's so right. But yet he drives like
fifteen minutes out of the way to save like four
cents a gallon because the thing is not close to
the freeway. He thinks it's cheaper. Well, that's true. Gas
stations close to freeways are always more expensive. Our dad
tucks in everything, t shirts, shorts, everything gets tucked right in.
(38:54):
And he always wears those stupid new balanced sneakers, the
white ones all back around are they? I just had
to look down to make sure what I was wearing.
Our dad wears socks with sandals all the time and
say that's actually comfortable.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
That's not in John's No, those did.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
Not come back around, all right, our dad's always quoting
movies wrong. Do other dads do this too? With total confidence,
he would say something dipy like I'm your uncle Luke.
Oh gosh eight sixty six five four four of MYFM
texting three one oh four three. What's something stereotypical that
your dad does? My bab it's balance down in the morning.
(39:32):
Seven thirty seven. We went to a little experiment a
second here. Jill says she believes she could run the
controls and do all that stuff and I could go
sit in her spot.
Speaker 7 (39:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
I just noticed that sometimes it's more relaxing on that
side of the console than it is over here.
Speaker 7 (39:43):
We don't our brains aren't constantly working like yours is,
you know, like you are constantly doing things over there.
We have the chance to like sit and just kind
of take a breather.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
So you mean like dance like John does pop around.
I looked over. John is like dancing during the song
since we play good music, man, I know, And I'm
over here working and stuff the news, the callers or
whatever the text, and John's like dancing.
Speaker 7 (40:06):
God, I will switch with you if you want a
little break, but it will not be as good as
what you can do.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
I know that's okay, Now.
Speaker 2 (40:13):
Father's Day gift, that's stuff out a father's say gift.
Maybe I'll do that in a couple minutes, says okay,
for the next hour and a half. Hey, Kelly, Yeah,
have your Father's Day. Hey Kelly, good morning. How are
you today? We're doing good. What's something stereotypical that your
dad does.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
The same story over and over and over and over again.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
But are there new people coming into the picture or
something like somebody comes to the house, they haven't heard
the story. You get to retell the story.
Speaker 15 (40:41):
No, she tells them to me, and I've been hearing
them for forty eight years.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Okay, And do you know them by heart by now?
Because this is just like just like back in the day.
I mean, like really far back in the day, when
we all gathered around the fire at the campsite, we
all belong to tribes and stuff. That's how we passed
down knowledge. Spoke word was passed down. It was the
oral history of generations before you. That's what he's still doing.
It's ingrained in his DNA to pass down the oral
(41:08):
history of your family. Kelly, you have to pick up

give out those lab boo boos next hour, after eight o'clock.
That's coming up. You can text it right now three
one o four to three or call eight sixty six
five four to fourfan. Something stereotypical your dad always does.
Dads always have a mug of hot tier of coffee
in the car while they drive you to school. I
(42:44):
almost started doing that myself last year. That is true.
Like any road trip we go to, I'm always like,
do we have time for Starbucks? I have to ask
my wife's skis. Yes, if we leave early, we have
time for Starbucks. Any type of drive, even if we
don't finish the coffee.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:58):
I have to have it sitting next.
Speaker 4 (42:59):
To me, and it has to be hot to yeah,
and it has to be.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
Hot to even a hot summer day. I don't get
ice coffee. I just have to have it there. It's
like a crutch to sip on. I like, right, yeah, right,
you are a dad in training. I'm getting there eight
sixty sixty five four or four of my FM. Hey, Marian,
how are you?
Speaker 14 (43:14):
I'm fine?
Speaker 2 (43:15):
What are you laughing at? What's so funny? What's going on? Well,
because my husband's and the other Oh, here we go,
let's get him, let's get him hard.
Speaker 14 (43:23):
Now.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
What is it that he does? It's such a stereotypical
dad thing.
Speaker 14 (43:26):
Oh my gosh. Anytime my kids have friends over, he
will try to do a dad joke or just you know,
embarrass them in one one fashion or another.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Is he embarrassing though? Or is he looking cool?
Speaker 14 (43:41):
Well, he thinks he's looking cool.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
No, Colin his friend's over too, and I go and
I talk to him and they laugh. Man, they laugh
like they laugh more with me than to do with
my wife. So I think you're a cool one.
Speaker 4 (43:52):
But are you trying to embarrass?
Speaker 2 (43:55):
Not embarrassing, You're just trying to be funny, hanging out man,
just too bros with the other bros.
Speaker 3 (44:01):
You can go to line when the bros are around.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
What's up? Yeah, you just got to hit them with
us up when they walk in. So you know you're cool?
Speaker 14 (44:07):
Yeah, I think your son's probably a lot like my
kids and my kids friends, and they're very polite and
they okay.
Speaker 2 (44:14):
Okay, Mary, so they just go, yes, what's up, sir?
All right, Mary, and have a great day. Thank you
very much for calling.
Speaker 14 (44:22):

Speaker 15 (44:41):

Speaker 4 (44:44):
Graduation is bright?
Speaker 2 (44:46):
Cast is a graduate?
Speaker 12 (44:48):
Yes I am.
Speaker 2 (44:49):
What did it feel like to graduate high school?
Speaker 7 (44:51):
Cast?
Speaker 15 (44:52):
It feels weird because, like, I know, I'm going to
still see my friends with ourselfer, but like it's the
fact that I'm never gonna like see them every day anymore,
which kind of sucks. But also I'm really excited to
have this kind of freedom to venture out and do
what I love.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Yeah, and you put a lot of work into high
school and all those years behind that, and now if
you're going to college, there's that work in front of you.
There's new beginnings, new chapters. It's all part of this
book that you're writing, the Book of Cass.
Speaker 15 (45:18):
Yes, I hope it's a nice, long, successful book as well.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
So what's up, Cass. Is that your happy news?
Speaker 15 (45:24):
Yeah? I'm currently on my way to pick up my
diploma in my high school. So that's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
Oh they didn't give it to you when you graduated.
Speaker 15 (45:31):
No, they need the case and it's just an empty case.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
Oh, in case they mess up or something, or well,
it's just hard to get it in the right order.
Speaker 3 (45:40):
It's just easier to hand everyone a book.
Speaker 2 (45:42):
Let you take that and get it.
Speaker 3 (45:43):
Either pick it up or they send it to you.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
That's the way they do it nowadays. Okay, I'm so
glad that you like called in. Have you listened to
the show for a while.
Speaker 15 (45:50):
Yeah, I remember I called my sophomore year talking about
how I played tenor sacks and jazz bands and all
that stuff, and so it's crazy now that I'm here.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
Oh, so you've listened to our show throughout your high
school career.
Speaker 15 (46:01):
Yeah, I have.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
And who would drive to school in the early days,
It was my mom and you and her would listen
to the Battle of the sexes and all the different
conversations we'd have.
Speaker 15 (46:09):
Absolutely I had zero period, so whatever battle is a
come on. You would always try and play along in
the car against each other. It was really fun.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
I love that. I love that we were just a
little part of your youth growing up and a little
part of the story that you're writing in the book
of Cast.
Speaker 15 (46:23):
Thank you, guys for everything. It's been such an amazing
way being able to talk to you.
Speaker 1 (46:26):
Guys are so cool.
Speaker 15 (46:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (46:29):
Cass. Slide into jills DMS and come down for a visit.
Speaker 4 (46:32):
Please, cople sit on the count you say, thank you

Speaker 3 (46:35):

Speaker 2 (46:38):

all Yeah, and the iHeartRadio app. If you go to college,
take us there. Are you going to college?
Speaker 15 (46:46):

to major in suitor and minor INTI college.
Speaker 2 (46:51):

you want to come visit the show.
Speaker 9 (46:57):
Okay, please, thank you give me so much.
Speaker 2 (46:59):
That would definitely one of four to three MIFM. It's
Valentine in the morning, gloomy, overcast right now, Sunshine a
little bit later on today should be warmer as well,
so we're excited about that. Later on in this hour,
the lab boob was going out the door. The Laboo
boos are going out the door. My gosh, we have
so many laboo boos and they're under lock and key.
And I try to tell my wife how serious it was,
because she goes, have you done your La booos yet?
(47:20):
And I go, yeah, we're doing some and gave some
out in the air doing some social and stuff like that.
These cute little stuffed animals, plush toys that everybody's really
gotten into right now. Think like back in the day,
My day was beanie babies. It became a craze, and
La booboos currently are that current craze. So we got
some to give away and we're filming a video yesterday
and we had them locked up in the promotions department,
and so we went down and we asked Sabrinos in
(47:41):
charge of that stuff, can we use the La boo
boos for a quick little video And she goes, yes,
follow me and walked down a long hall to a
locked door. She opened a locked door to a larger
room that some of us had never been in before,
a large, somewhat abandoned room with old computers and old
deaths that nobody uses. As a bit of dust in
(48:02):
the air, this stench of a mustiness of an unused area,
you know. And we walked through that area to an
office area towards the back, and she opened up a
filing cabinet, a locked filing cabinet, opened up a locked
box in the filing cabinet, took out another key from
that lock box, then proceeded to bring us to the
(48:23):
rear of this area to another office that was locked.
Opened that locked office, went inside, opened up another filing
cabinet with a lock, and there with the laboo boos.
Speaker 6 (48:34):
This is one accurate exaggerate some stuff sometimes, sure, Barbataman, Yeah,
that's what happened.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
That was the walk to the labooboos. Yet we're like unbelievable,
what is going on. It's like Fort Knox with these labooboos.
And she goes, we've had some incidents. I go, people
have stolen stuff. We've had some incidents, and they don't
work here anymore. Yeah, what was stolen? And I heard
that somebody had to get let go and they had
to have this massive lock box scenario, you know.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
I love.
Speaker 7 (49:02):
As we passed by one cubicle, someone said, I've heard
about these laboo boos, but I haven't seen them since
she works in promotions and she still has.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
Even well, she doesn't have a key to that win. Oh,
you know, it's all locked up back there. So about
eight thirty we'll start talking about that. Who's getting labuoboos today?
With twe of four to three mifma. Right now, it
is the battle of the sexes rips in the man.

Speaker 9 (51:05):
I don't know?
Speaker 2 (51:07):
The West Wing? It was fantastic, but before your signed probably.
Speaker 7 (51:11):
And Chris, you can tie it with this one. What

bottle caps?
Speaker 5 (51:25):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (51:26):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (51:27):
All right, tie it up. Let's go to a not
so tough tie breaker question. Holler out your name. If
you know the answer, your name will be your buzzer.
Went until Laura finishes asking the question before you buzz in?
Speaker 4 (51:37):
What is your go to fast food order?
Speaker 14 (51:42):

aware of that, right Yeah, I know, but I just.

listen there. We'll talk to you off the air. We'll
talk to you off the air.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Hang out.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
My favorite line from today will be what is happening
right now?
Speaker 1 (53:36):
Right now?
Speaker 2 (53:36):
A twenty one? It is Valentine in the morning. This
is one of four three MIFM some sad news report
based on yesterday. Brian Wilson, singer, songwriter, record producer who
co founded the Beach Boys passed away. His family said,
we're at a loss for words right now. We realize
that we are sharing our grief with the entire world.
(53:58):
Did Beach Boys have more than thirty singles and top
forty worldwide sales more than one hundred million. Last year,
Brian's family revealed he'd been diagnosed with dementia. He was
eighty two years of age, so incredibly influential, the Beach Boys,
(54:23):
and they gave us the unofficial I didn't even argue
official anthem of California. And when I hit this song,
there's no way you don't know what it is, especially
if you're my generation, Jill's generation, John's I Bett knows
two instantly. You know that song just said, first little
(54:45):
lick right there. The Beach Boys were fantastic.
Speaker 3 (54:48):
Then everybody.
Speaker 2 (54:51):
Just take a listen to it again, iconic, iconic music.
Speaker 1 (54:57):
That everybody had a.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
Brian was eighty two years of age. He's definitely going
to be missed. Their music lives on like it, John,
what do you have training in music today?
Speaker 6 (55:07):
Well, Cheerin was on a podcast recently and he was
talking about his love for writing and performing music. But
he said, oftentimes it's the releasing part that kind of stinks.
Speaker 5 (55:16):
He says he doesn't really like releasing music that often.
Speaker 6 (55:18):
It kind of sucks the joy out of it, and
it's quite stressful, because he says, sometimes he really likes
the song he's writing again, and he loves performing.
Speaker 5 (55:24):
But then when you release a song, you do that
whole big campaign.
Speaker 6 (55:27):
If it's not received as well, or some critics talk
about it, like as a human, you start to develop
some doubt about it, right, Like have you ever showed
someone a song and then they didn't really react how
you wanted them to, And then for a while after
that it's almost like tainted in that way.
Speaker 5 (55:40):
Yep, that's kind of how it is for Ed about
releasing music.
Speaker 3 (55:42):
So it makes them a little bit nervous.
Speaker 2 (55:43):
That's how it is. When I go home and play
the podcast of our show sometimes of your Wife, I
would get my wife and I go listen. We did
a very funny thing in the radio. Take got to
hear this. He's like, huh tell, yeah, that's very funny.
Speaker 5 (55:52):
What anyway, Ed is about to release a whole slew.
Speaker 6 (55:54):
Of new music this summer, right before he hits the
stage at the iHeart Radio Music Festival.
Speaker 5 (55:58):
I'm John Kamuchi.
