Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's the Valentine in the Morning replay.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to the breakfast table a Valentine in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
I laughed heartily.

Speaker 4 (00:06):
Oh my God, help us respectful to say I love you.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
The full show podcast starts right now, one.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Of four to three. My Vami, it is Valentine in
the Morning. Good morning, Jill, Good morning. How are you.

Speaker 5 (00:20):
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
H Friday.

Speaker 5 (00:22):
I'm so happy. I spent the night at my parents'
house last night and my mom was visiting a friend,
so it was just me and my dad, and he
made a steak dinner with some grilled zucchini and a
salad and this huge piece of steak, and it was
just so good.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
How much red meat to you eat in a week?
I feel like from talking to you, and this is
no judgment, just curiosity factor of my own diet and
looking at life and stuff like that, I feel like
I'll talk to you and you go, oh, you know,
Jeff made a great sake last night, or oh, we
went out for Koreem barbecue, which is probably gonna be
red meat. My dad made a steak. I'm just curious
your world. Yeah, how much you think you eating a regular.

Speaker 5 (01:05):
Week red meat? Once a week, a lot of chicken,
a lot of chicken dish. Do you have pork, No pork,
We did pork chops before.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yeah, but it's red meat.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
That's that's red meat.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
That's red that's red meat.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
White meat.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
No, it's not white meat. It's red meat.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Because it's because it's a from a red blooded animal.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Does that make it chickens bleed red?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, they do, of course red. No, But people feel
because they had a great marketing campaign, it was very
successful for years, and they identified pork as the other
white meat. The coloration does not necessarily denote what it's
about red meat. Well, that is very misleading, but you
needn't know that it is classified as red meat.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Interesting. Yeah, you to take that up with big steak.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Pretty good big steak.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
I feel like I'm like a once or twice a
red meat a week, and then maybe pork one night,
the rest chicken.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah. How much fish in your diet?

Speaker 4 (02:05):
I eat a lot of fish.

Speaker 6 (02:07):
I have to like try and cut back on my
fish because I eat so much fish that I began
to get nervous about mercury poisoning.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Oh yeah, I think if you get good quality fish
and you eat the fish that is naturally lower if
you're eating game fish like shark or tuna or something
like that.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Tuna that's my that's my go to tuna, and.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Can sometimes it's okay, and you can get lower mercury
tuna and stuff like that for safe catch. I think
it's called and you'll be better off that way. Brian,
what about you? What are we talking about? How much red.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
I don't know, once a month. I don't know what's
a month?

Speaker 7 (02:42):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
I kind of zoned out there a little bit.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
All right, Well, you know what, I didn't want it
to go this long. She just asked about about a
steak and screw you. You're so mean to me. That's
an important thing, Michael. How much red meat do you
eat in a week?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Almost none. My wife's a vegetarian, so I am effectively
a vegetarian as well.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
There you go, There you go. How about that? The
guy's stepping up there.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Lots of pasta though, lots of pasta pasta. Yeah yeah, yeah, Well.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Folks, it's the update. That's the show. We're good to
go today.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
It can't be the show.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
No, We're gonna go on a little bit later on.
Michael's gonna jump in on that when he's our preuser
out in New York, and we'll jump in on what
type of lagomes do you enjumree, and that'll be coming
up at five twenty five. No, I've cut back on it,
but then my iron levels were low, so I started
bringing back like once a week, maybe I'll have some
red meat or something like that. But I've gone for

(03:43):
six seven years without eating steak. Oh wow, Yeah, I
do that. I go long periods of time without doing stuff,
you know, like a camel for things. Right now it's alcohol,
Yes it is. And that stops today right after this
break four to three my FM, one of four three

(04:07):
my FM. It is Valentine in the morning. What's going on? Guys?
You get the giggles over there again today, don't you?
Are you talking red meat behind my back?

Speaker 6 (04:15):
I think Fridays take us somewhere, you know, like we
always have a great time on Friday, I mean every day,
but Friday's in.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Particular, Fridays especially, you kind of like careless. Yeah, and
you're also like really tired and delusional from the week.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Yes, careless, I care it's not coming across. Do you
guys tune in last night?

Speaker 8 (04:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:34):
You were such a bunch of Really, it sounded always
something from the show, John.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Well, I can tell you how it opened.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
It was very interesting because you could kind of hear
the room noise still, just because you were communicating to
such a.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Big room, but room noise. I only listened to ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
That's what you remember. Oh Josh, you know what stands
out to you from last night?

Speaker 5 (04:55):
I really liked the conversation about Bruce Springsteen.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
And what did you like about it? That was so
you had known.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
I had no idea that he was on stage with
Bruce seventeen years.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
I said that on their prior I didn't listen. Yes, well, Brian,
what's sit out to you? Buddy?

Speaker 3 (05:13):
The story you told about how there's a rest stop
named after him, and he seemed to really come alive
when you told that.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
That was a good segment.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
That was good.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I actually during that segment because I have an inner ear,
so I had like an earpiece. And if you're a
Hollywood type like me, you know the little thing in
the ear where the director it talks to you has
a name and it's escaped me right now. Is it
like a fob or something fob or something something no,
that's not it a fob's you little key card to
get into.

Speaker 9 (05:38):
It's like your I f B I f B, Yes,
thank you, if your legos and in the world of coolness,
it's an IFB.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
And so the director is talking to me during that segment,
and they were They were also saying like wickedly annoyingly
stuff throughout the night. To sit up, sit up, you're slouching,
Sit up, Sit up, you're slouching. Why are you slouching?
You're too comfortable, don't lean back, sit up. As the
entire time I'm talking to job bo Joe, right, but
during that segment that Brian so politely is referencing. After

(06:07):
that segment we went to a song, they were like,
my god, that was great. That was such a great segment.
Way to go. You guys nailed that. Jobey doesn't hear
this is just me and so I sat up a
bit straighter, flexed my shoulders a bit. Yeah, that's good
right there on the stage in front of people.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
Really good.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
In those I was very proud of you. You did
a great job. Thank you. I was proud of you too.
We're gonna play some audio later on yes, because I
heard it and I thought I heard it the first time,
but then I went back and listened to the audio
last night. Job on Jovie a big iHeartRadio preview that
we're doing for his new album Forever, the Legendary Edition.

(06:48):
And in the middle of somebody's question, you hear Brian
say something and you hear Laura laugh. Yeah, I'll play
that for you guys.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Later on, Adam and I had a few adult beverages
during the show. We were enjoying ourselves and it got
a little.

Speaker 4 (07:05):
Out of hand.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
It's Valence out.

Speaker 10 (07:07):
In the morning four to three, maya listen anywhere with
the free iheard radio.

Speaker 2 (07:12):

Speaker 11 (07:25):
I was ready on Monday?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Age, What are you planned? Anything big besides Dodgers?

Speaker 11 (07:30):
Uh, Dodgers? A couple of movies, That's about it.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
A couple of movies.

Speaker 11 (07:35):
Yeah, al see that new Alison movie and then probably
Bruce Springsteen.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
That looks good. That looks very good.

Speaker 8 (07:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I'm a big Boss fan too, so I'm into that too. Yeah, girl,
what else is going on? How old are you?

Speaker 8 (07:51):
Fifty four?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Fifty four. You don't sound fifty four.

Speaker 12 (07:55):
I am.

Speaker 11 (07:55):
I'll be fifty five in January.

Speaker 12 (07:57):
You do.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
You don't sound and not that fifty fours even all
old or anything, right, But you sound to me like
I would have pegged you in your thirties.

Speaker 8 (08:04):
Well, thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
What was the song that you remember from high school?
One of your favorite songs?

Speaker 11 (08:09):
I love bon Jovi and Springfield were my favorites growing up,
so living on a Prayer was my favorite favorite.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Yeah, you're fifty four, I checks out. Yeah, Jill favorite
song from high school?

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Umma that akon?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Oh my wow, my goodness.

Speaker 6 (08:31):
Okay, John favorite song from high school probably like Ocean
Avenue Yellow Card.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Oh that's more respectful, John, dare I? Dare I with
that face? I see it to my left hand side?
Dare I ask him? Claudia? Afraid of the answer? Am
I so fast?

Speaker 3 (08:49):
The way? The honest answer is nine.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Inch Nails Closer, Okay, which.

Speaker 13 (08:53):
Is Oh, that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
That's such a good song.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Yeah, the lyrics are not appropriate.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Oh really a gotcha? So, Claudia, why do you get
up early in the morning? What do you do?

Speaker 11 (09:04):
I'm a project coordinator at a company that makes diabetes pumps.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Oh really, okay, gotcha.

Speaker 11 (09:11):
Yeah, it's very rewarding when they work and help people.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
So well, hopefully we get closer and closer solving all
that stuff. I was thinking about my son the other day,
and here we are with your age and me with
a similar age of yours, and thinking about the medical
advancements in our world and what will be in front
of us the next ten, fifteen, twenty years and stuff.
And then I think about my seventeen year old son.
What will be in front of him when he's in
his fifties, when he's in his forties, What will come
to our kids and Brian's kids, What medical advancements will

(09:38):
be on the radar for them. It's fascinating, you.

Speaker 11 (09:40):
Know, I know it is. It is fascinating.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yeah, they'll be okay, they'll be okay. Do you think so?
I think so. I think a lot of the stuff,
the cancer and stuff, I think it'll be solid by
the time they get there.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
I think they're going to be slaves to the robots.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
That's oh that yeah, No, there's slaves to robots. But
they'll be alive and healthy, just robots slaves, that's for sure.

Speaker 11 (10:00):
This is so funny.

Speaker 13 (10:01):
I love you guys.

Speaker 11 (10:01):
I have to say that.

Speaker 8 (10:02):
I love you guys.

Speaker 11 (10:03):
I'll listen to you guys every day in the morning. Jill,
I'm manifesting everything, everything.

Speaker 13 (10:08):
Positive for you.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
Oh, thank you very very much.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
I really appreciate that Jill had some good news and
you haven't shared it yet.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
On the wait for happy news.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Okay, we'll wait for this. But so anyway, Jill, get
some good news and you called who first? Give us
the order of the calls.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
I called my husband Number.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
One appropriate, everybody sanctions that.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Number two my mom appropriate.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Mom gave birth to you.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
It was on speaker with my dad, like so I
both of them together, Dad, double dip looks great. Called
my sister Jenna, Yep.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Jenna, there she is. Middle sister got in the shaft
many times. Being middle sister, appropriate to call her.

Speaker 13 (10:42):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Called my youngest sister Britt.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Still right there, sibling familial appropriate, call her next on
your list.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
I called Valentine. Had to share it with my buddy Man.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
I just got a text right now.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
I'm sorry, John, I'm sorry, Thanks for calming.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
All right?

Speaker 7 (11:11):
A great can you get yeah, hang out with you?

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Hang out one secon. John doesn't even know what he
found out. We just found out there was some good news.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
One four three my sm Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
An actor from Poltergeist will be handing out let Me
start Over and After from Poltergeist.

Speaker 9 (11:29):
Will be hanging out candy on Halloween at the actual
house from the movie. If you live in or near
Seem Valley, you can go. His name is Oliver Robbins.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
He played Robbie Freeling and he's the one that gets
attacked by his own clown doll in Poltergeist. The new
owner of this house is decorating it all out for Christmas,
lots of skeletons, so it looks like the final scene
in the movie. And you can actually book a stay
at this house on Airbnb if you're interested in something
terrifying like that. And the boys go. Treva McIntire says

(12:01):
she's happier than she's ever been at seventy years old,
and she's given us a little pep talk, and she's
given us some positive affirmations. She was talking about if
you're out somewhere and you don't want to go to
a certain party or social function and you're a little
bit anxious about it, She's saying, get in there and
have fun. Nobody is going to be paying attention to you.

(12:22):
They're too worried about themselves. She said, what they're wearing,
what they look like. You go in, you have fun.
You just worry about yourself and you steal the show.
I love this. Mike mcdire giving positive affirmations so great.
I'm Jill with entertainment headlines on Valentine in the Morning,
war one O four to three my.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
FM, one of four to three my family. It is
Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
How do you feel about your grilled cheese?

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Oh dude, that's like a grilled cheese one of my favorites.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Interestingly enough, just the other day and this is not
the bowg art your segment. It's about grilled cheese that
you've been planning for a while.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
Yeah, I've been working on this all week.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
I made my son and grilled cheese the other day, and
I tried something I had not tried in recent days.
I would usually take the bread, slap a little butter
on one side, put the cheese in between, and slap
a little butter on the inside. Shive it in the pan.
What I did prior to putting the butter and the
cheese in between. Talking like Ryan's Secret food a little

(13:26):
bit now, So what I did? I toasted lightly toasted
the bread in the toaster prior to making this grilled cheese.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
That's what I do when I make mine. It helps
with the crunch.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
That was different. I thought it was nice here.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
Yeah, have you ever used mayonnaise instead of butter?

Speaker 2 (13:43):
No, I think I've heard about that.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
That seems to be the craze right now. But the
reason for me bringing this up is seventy five percent
of people think they cannot make a good grilled cheese.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
People screwed up. I see me screwed up all the time.
They burn it too much, they're lumpy with their butter.
They put butter on it's too cold, so then you
can't spread it evenly on the bread. It all the time.
I see it all the time. I look through windows
of homes across America.

Speaker 5 (14:10):
So you're confident in your grilled cheese.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Yeah, I'll make you a good grilled cheese.

Speaker 6 (14:12):
I do feel like it's harder than it looks because
as a kid, that was like my favorite meal growing on,
and my mom would make the best grilled cheese and
she told me the steps on how to do it,
and I must have tried that a thousand times throughout
my high school career. Right, I never had one grilled
cheese hit as hard as my mom's and I was
just like, what is it?

Speaker 8 (14:29):
So?

Speaker 6 (14:29):
I do think it is difficult to make a grilled cheese, right.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
You gotta take the plastic off the cheese. You gotta
take the plastic off the cheese. Great about it? Great?

Speaker 4 (14:39):
I put my grilled cheese up against anyone.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Do you do anything different with yours? Or is just
a standard kid grilled cheese.

Speaker 4 (14:45):
It's a standard kid grilled cheese. But yeah, I butter
both sides of the bread.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Oh you butter the inside as well? The inside. Well,
that's a lot of butter. That has a lot of butter.
You butter the inside of the bread. I never thought
of that.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
It's really gross.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
But it's how many slices on your standard girl cheese?
You did?

Speaker 9 (15:03):
Three?

Speaker 13 (15:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah, yeah, yea yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
And I get the good stuff to till and hook.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
I'm not messing.

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Cheese.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Is that how you say it?

Speaker 4 (15:10):
I don't know, Tillamook, I've never said it out.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
I called it, tam I say till of mook.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
It's definitely not tellamic.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
You don't know, you have no idea.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Not truth is I don't know.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
No, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Well I use Velveta.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
One four three, my FM.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
One O four three, my family. It is Valenceine in
the morning, Naomi, good morning. Hi, Hey, how are.

Speaker 8 (15:37):
You doing good? Thank you?

Speaker 4 (15:38):
How are you doing good?

Speaker 2 (15:39):
You pump for game one? You pump girl, you pump girl.

Speaker 8 (15:42):
Oh I am so ready. You know, my anxiety level
right now is to the roof. I'm excited, happy, nervous.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Ready, let's go, baby, Let's go Game one. Let's do it.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
I got so excited the other day seeing them just
getting off the plane. I was like, yeah, here we go.

Speaker 8 (15:59):
I'm looking at my real series videos from last year.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
Ready. Yeah, No, I feel good about a repeat, lesson
never jinks anything. I feel good about it.

Speaker 8 (16:07):
Yep, we've got a dominant team.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
What's your playing? You watch it at home? What are
you doing?

Speaker 8 (16:11):
I'm probably gonna watch that home or gather with some friends.
We don't know yet. It's something there right now.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
You just got to have the right friend group, you
know what I mean?

Speaker 8 (16:18):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Yeah, you gotta people that are watching the game, that
understand the game, not that you guys see the below
deck episode from last week. You know people locked.

Speaker 8 (16:29):
In during the NLCS. My daughter was already telling me
there's two outs. Freddy Freeman's up to that, and she's six, Oh.

Speaker 6 (16:37):
Wow, all right, that kid's locked in, ye NAILI do
you have any superstitions?

Speaker 12 (16:43):
I do.

Speaker 8 (16:44):
I always have to wear at least something Dodgers game day.
Sometimes I go to work with a Dodger shirt under
my under my clothes.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Nice. So what's the plan today? What are you going
to have on?

Speaker 8 (16:53):
I have a picture a shirt of me and Kershaw,
so I made a shirt of a picture of me
and him that spring training. So I'll be wearing masks.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
This is the only time, really, aside form like Halloween
or something like that, you can get away with asking
a woman on the radio what she's wearing.

Speaker 9 (17:12):
Right now.

Speaker 12 (17:13):
I didn't even hesitate on entering my goodness, Well, they
have me, good luck, enjoy the game, have some good grubs,
some good food, and drink all that stuff, and let's
go Dodgers.

Speaker 8 (17:25):
You guys too, Let's go Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Let's do it. Let's go Dodgers. Let's go Dodgers.

Speaker 14 (17:32):
Ever, let's go Dodgers, Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Let's go Dodgers.

Speaker 7 (17:40):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
See I have a good day.

Speaker 8 (17:45):
Thank you girl.

Speaker 15 (17:49):
The Big Mass Text Valentine in the morning at three
one o four three one.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Four three, My family, it is Valentine in the morning.
What's going on? Hey, John mulaney just walked in. Oh hey, Jock,
come on, everybody, not javalany. You know, my parents used
to have this thing that when I was a little
child that was mostly detached for them, and they just
didn't seem to care.

Speaker 5 (18:14):
God, John, it's getting there.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
It's getting there.

Speaker 5 (18:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
I practiced the most random impressions out of anybody. Anybody
knows it's not good. Like, first off, how would you
even make money do an impression of that guy?

Speaker 4 (18:26):
I assume you just watched a special of his last night.
Something pop your head.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Popped into my head on the drive in this morning,
I tell you about earlier. Yeah, as soon as you
walk around, things just pop right into your head and
just go for it, right. And life is like that.
Sometimes when you're on the dance floor of life, you're
not sure where it's going to lead you, and sometimes
you just have to give in to the dance right.
For many of us, we'd like to control. We see
what happens on the dance floor. We want to look

(18:52):
perfect on that dance floor. Even at a wedding, you
want to look good in that dance floor. But sometimes reckless, abandoned,
sometimes just giving into the dance, giving into the flow.
It doesn't have to be that perfect waltz that we
all watch in those movies from back in the day,
the kings and queens in the eighteen hundreds, they dance

(19:13):
so perfectly on the floor. It doesn't have to be that.
Sometimes you give in to the dance itself and let
it lead you. Sometimes it will lead you and your partner.
Where's it taking you? Where is the dance of life
going to take you? Give in to it. We try

(19:34):
to control things so often in life. We try to
have the final determination made for us, for our kids,
for our lives, or our daily events. And sometimes you
just don't know that final determination, and you have to
trust in the process. You have to trust that things
will work out the way they're intended to work out

(19:55):
for you. Give in to the dance, close your eyes
and spin. In life, sometimes you just have to do it.
Close your eyes and just spin that Jam Mulaney, she'll

(20:19):
count up.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
I'm glad you did that because I was about to
start bawling my eyes out. So just close your eyes
and spin.

Speaker 9 (20:26):
That is so beautiful and it's so simple yet so monumental.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
Close your eyes and spin. That is beautiful. One two three. Wow,
you're so good with words.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
I don't know if she's being serious. That's very sweet
to say. I didn't know if you were. Just like, No,
I loved that, fool of me.

Speaker 5 (20:53):
No, I love that so much. Really like I want
to get up and just spin. The fertility trying to
make me super dissy.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Well, yeahs so I just don't want you spinning all
the time. It's more metaphorical.

Speaker 16 (21:07):
There she goes around again. Oh my gosh, it's very
sweet to you. Gonna say, oh, thank you. Wow, that
made me feel nice.

Speaker 14 (21:18):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Written no serious is one of four three My family.
It is Valencie in the morning eight six six five
four four my fam text and three one oh four three.
Now we turn to our dear friend John Kimucci. Ladies

(21:39):
and gentlemen, it's time for some new music. New music Friday.

Speaker 6 (21:43):
All right, we got a couple of songs for you today.
So first up, the soundtrack to that new Netflix show
Nobody Wants This Season two is out and a lot
of people are really excited about this soundtrack excited. And
one of those songs is by Selena Gomez. This is
her new one called in the Dark.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Super Mind Job.

Speaker 12 (22:04):
I know.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
He'll giving a lot of giving you a lot, giving
you up, giving a lot.

Speaker 14 (22:17):
Of giving you a lot.

Speaker 6 (22:27):
So in her social post about this song, she said,
just a little nostalgia droplet. It's kind of a hint
like this earlier upbeat Selena that we used to hear
a lot more of, but not as much anymore, and
this one kind of has that feel to it.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
But the entire soundtrack to this show, guys, it is stacked.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
Teddy Swims is on there, Casey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton like
all the way down that soundtrack.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
It's called Nobody Wants This on Netflix.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
Yeah, season two, season two. I saw. I haven't clicked
it yet, but it does look funny. Is it funny?

Speaker 4 (22:54):
It is, dude. I was watching it last night with
my girlfriend. We just got into it.

Speaker 6 (22:56):
We're a few episodes in the second season. It's incredible, man,
like this show and you know not it's not an
advertisement or anything, but like, I genuinely think this is
one of the better rom com shows I've.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
Seen in years.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Like it's so good, all right.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
So the soundtrack to it's really good too, and it's
out today. This is in the Dark from Selena Gomes. Now,
the next song is a perfect one for the fall.
It's a collapse from Mumford and Sons and Hosier. It's
called Rubber band Man.

Speaker 14 (23:25):
Don't hold to You so but hard more turn Stone, Beautible,
bun Man, Nate the water you born.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
You're well away, but just say tell me you.

Speaker 14 (23:39):
By you hard and I will call you by you.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
And it's a long way, you know what. I remember
everything said.

Speaker 6 (24:00):
Some of the minute they tease this. People have been
going crazy for it online. It's two men that are
like really well loved in that like folk acoustic scene.
And this song was recorded at Long Pond Studio. Now
for the people that I know, I saw Jill's eyes
perk up immediately there.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
It's this remote.

Speaker 6 (24:16):
Studio in New York, right, and this is where Taylor
Swift recorded Folklore.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
And so this is perfect for folk music.

Speaker 6 (24:23):
Amazing exactly so like there's this whole lore behind this
building at the Long Pond studio and that's where they
recorded this one, which just makes sense for Mumford and
Sons and Hoosier.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
Just yeah, chef's kiss.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
What did you just chef chefiss this and then you
did it in the studio?

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Yeah, I mean you got it. If you say chef's kiss,
you have to do this.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
I don't say chef's kiss.

Speaker 4 (24:42):
Well that's right.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Then if I did say chef kiss, I have to
kiss it.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
Like you just have to chef kiss. It's an Italian thing. Brother,
I think you have Oh okay, And I.

Speaker 6 (24:53):
Just thought with this one too, man like fallows here.
You know, I just saw Noah Khan was teasing new music.
Now we got this Mumford inside Hosier, like.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Right, guess this season.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
You know when you listen to the beginning of this
song to me, the Selena song great, loved it, wonderful.
I didn't see a video in my head. Sometimes when
you play a song, you see a video in your head.
I see like Appalachian trails behind them, I see these
guys sitting in a pickup truck. I see somewhat, you know,
disheveled families in the background struggling to get work done.

(25:23):
Take a listen to it, but.

Speaker 14 (25:25):
Don't hold to your show. But hard more turn Stone, beautible,
bunny you are.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
You can see the guy in the banjo sitting there
and yeah, people just working hard, true blue collar America. Yes,
you see the video. Sometimes when you hear a song,
you know I love this. Chefs kiss didn't know I
kissed before I did the chef's kissing. I didn't how
to do it. I got chefs make out chef.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Yeah, this is a why go past the line?

Speaker 2 (26:05):
You gotta find the line somewhere had the lips make out?
Didn't go past it.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
I didn't know where the line isn't tell you?

Speaker 2 (26:11):
Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
This is This is Rubber Bandman from Mumford and Suns.

Speaker 6 (26:16):
And now lastly here the album is finally out from
Demi Levado.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
It's called It's Not That Deep.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Here's a song on it called let You Go.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
So the album is called It's not that Deep. Right,
She likes saying I just, you know, just had to
make some money.

Speaker 6 (26:46):
It's not that No, I don't think so, okay, I
didn't know this is supposed to be a very fun album,
she said, like it's her return to dance pop, and
to be honest, like, of course, I'm a dance music guy.
I didn't expect this album to like weigh so heavily
on the dance side, Like a lot of these songs
are very like DM influenced, And that's what she wanted.
She wanted a fun album everyone can go out and
sing too. And I really like it. And tomorrow night

(27:07):
she's going to be here in La at the Palladium
doing a one night only show.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
And the demand has gone crazy for this.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Oh really, two.

Speaker 6 (27:14):
Hundred thousand people were in the queue for a four
thousand venue. Of the thousands, yeah, so they're very much
hoping that she releases a tour or some kind of
expansion of this.

Speaker 4 (27:25):
But she'll be here tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Night in La.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Her album's on now.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
It's called It's Not That Deep from Demi Levato, and
there's a playlist on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
You can look up newly released.

Speaker 6 (27:36):
And it'll pop right up on John Camucci, that's your
new music, Faday.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Some texts coming in here? Hey what about Lewis Capoli?

Speaker 9 (27:43):
John?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
He's great? What's going on him? Does he have new
music out.

Speaker 6 (27:46):
He dropped a new song today, but I got something
big plan for Lewis Capaldi.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
Later on in the show, Oh chef's.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Touch my man, mister Valentine, you made my day with
those words and for a sip. Thank you for that,
Elizabeth writes Julie Andrews sound of music. That's what I
think of with your first sil.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
Oh yes, that opening scene when she's just twirling clothes
on top of the hilly.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Oh yeah, great, yeah, I get that. Okay, eight sixty six,
five four four text and three one oh four three.
It is Friday, guys, Welcome to Valentine in the morning.

In entertainment headlines, Saverna Carpenter has a new partnership but
has nothing to do with music, and you're gonna have
to be twenty one or older to enjoy. I'll tell
you what it is.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
But after traffick one O four to three my FM
Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
Saverena Carpenter has a new partnership with Johnny Walker and
she is releasing three different new cocktails on the next
US leg of her tour, and the drinks are the
Go Go high Ball, the Short and Sour and the
Manhattan's Best Friend and Sabrina's is that great? Sabrina says,

(28:59):
this part Ship is about celebrating boldly, pushing boundaries and
moving forward with purpose. And then this is crazy. Shaquille
O'Neil has a customized range Rover that is made to
fit his seven foot one body. It's worth's one hundred
and eighty thousand dollars. Yeah, but it was taken. It

(29:20):
was stolen while being shipped from Georgia to Louisiana for
some more custom work and the company had it moved
on Monday, but the car never made it to its
destination and police believe that the thieves hacked the moving company,
got the information on where the car was going and
intercepted before made there.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
They're offering a.

Speaker 5 (29:41):
Ten thousand dollars reward. Shaq is working with the police,
but they can't find his range Rover.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
I would start looking at a guys that recently got
some money that are tall Coeoper flag to be like,
so you got some you know.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
A Google filter you can right, it's not Danny.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
DeVito that stole the cart, you.

Speaker 14 (29:56):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (29:57):
Just start looking for tall guys. Tomado did not steal
that car.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
I'm Jill with the tap of headline right.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Six, pickt to seven. It's one of four to three

get kids up and get ready for school, hope it's
a good one. And I know some kids are not
up right now because they're lazy. Probably buy a kid too.
It's like school starts at like eight thirty for high school.
It's kind of the mandatory time here in California, right,
and uh, there are kids gonna get up at eight ten.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
This is a christ the street is look at cross

Speaker 2 (30:53):
They just stay in bed as long as I can. Yeah,

Speaker 14 (30:56):
Right?

Speaker 7 (30:56):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (30:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (30:57):
Were you like that back in the day.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Yeah, but I had zero period all through high so
I had to be there an hour earlier.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Oh so it was mean again because I didn't have
this stuff of my day zero period.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
So for example, like for us, it was jazz band.
Like I wanted to be in jazz band so bad,
but they only offered it zero period, So you came
in an hour before school started.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Oh again, and then that's.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
When you do it right.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Oh god, so just zero period mad early before the
day starts.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
Yeah. So we started at like six thirty or six
forty five or something like that.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Every day for jazz band.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Man, were you guys good?

Speaker 4 (31:25):
We had fun?

Speaker 2 (31:26):
You practice an hour every day and you guys still
weren't good.

Speaker 4 (31:30):
Well, I mean it was a school band.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
We were good, you know, but you're not like one
of the top bands in the in the state or anything.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Right, And what was your spot? You were trumpet together?

Speaker 4 (31:37):
Yeah, in jazz band, I was trumpet trumpet?

Speaker 17 (31:39):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (31:39):
Yeah, can you still play it?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
I wonder about that. Do you have a trumpet? Thinking
about it the other day?

Speaker 2 (31:43):
No, I don't read a school trumpet or something. Yeah, yeah,
I guess I.

Speaker 6 (31:47):
Still remember fingerings, but like, who knows if your like
mouth could do the same thing anymore?

Speaker 14 (31:51):
You know.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
Oh boy, yikes, I'm so glad it wasn't me this time.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
I'm so glad it was you.

Speaker 11 (31:59):

because he's talking about zombier. Sure of course he's talking
about how you go into the instrument everything, Like, yes,
I mean I was a saxophone guy. I had to
learn how to wet my read. Yeah, you know, how
about that guy who's a van door in two and
a half most of the time, you know, I was
a woodwind guy.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
Ran and I stayed quiet about it. We just raised
our eyebrows. That was all we did.

Speaker 4 (32:21):
I laughed.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Let me tell you that when I had to get
my mouth just right for the double read of an elbow,
that was something you know, you had really personal's lips
I could. Yeah. I don't have an elbow still my

It's my kid. I can do that. Joe, what's going on?
What's your happy news?

Speaker 5 (40:23):
Okay? So I've been on this journey with my husband
to hopefully have a baby, and we've been doing a
ton of different fertility appointments, and I was supposed to
have an anger trieval this week. At first we thought
maybe we'd have it Monday or Tuesday, but my body
has been taken a little bit of a longer time
to do what it needs to do. And I've been
doing hormonal injections now for two weeks. We counted the

(40:46):
shots last night. It's been sixty four injections in the
past two weeks. And on Wednesday I went, I've been
going like every other day. And on Wednesday my doctor said,
based off of my blood work and the ultrasound, it
looks like we will be able to do an egg
retrieval next week. So I'm gonna go today and that's
going to determine what day we can do the egg

(41:08):
retrieval based off of the size of the follicles and
how my blood work is. And so just hearing that
on Wednesday, because it's kind of up in the air,
will we even be able to have an egg retrieval.
And there's definitely one follicle who is just doing a thing.
There's a couple other little baby ones that's still need
a little bit more time, but this one strong follicle,
I'm like, yes, let's go, So gonna have an egg

(41:30):
retrieval next week. I'm so happy.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
There's so many of us that before you started talking
about this, didn't even know what a follicle was. Plenty
of kids going, wait a minute, mom, what's a follicle?
Rose eggs? It's like an egg tree or something like that.

Speaker 5 (41:46):
I've learned a lot these basketballs we all have.

Speaker 2 (41:49):
The human body is a miracle, yes, like my belief
in a higher power. Just looking at the human body
and all the ins and outs, ups and downs that
it has, and the miracle of science and how it
all works together. It's just I'm happy for you guys.
You got through that without crying.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
I know, I think be impressive. It's very impressive. I
think because I'm still in that phase of I'm still
don't play the music ause that gets me. I'm still
like very nervous. Every time I go to the fertility clinic,
I am I'm nervous, and I kind of like push
it down in a way and I just focus on, Okay,
this is gonna be good. We're gonna get good news.

(42:27):
You know, this is gonna be great. And so I think,
because I'm not I haven't heard one hundred percent you're
having your retrieval on Monday or whatever day. Once I
hear that, then I think I'll be able to break
a little bit.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
And then it's it's kind of like we talked about earlier,
first Sift. Just close your eyes and spin, Just dance,
you know, let the dance take you where it's gonna go.
Because none of us know what tomorrow has in store
for us. Tomorrow's promised to know and and we don't
know the path of our life. And you know, you
and Jeff are on this adventure together as a married couple,
and just see where it takes you because you have
each other by your side, you have a dance partner.

(43:01):
You're not dancing on the dance floor on your own.

Speaker 5 (43:04):
Crazy And can I please get your jet the praise
because he has kept me okay, now I will cry.
He's kept me so calm and just like feeling like
I can do it. I know I can. I went
through an egg retrieval alone last time I didn't have
a partner, But this time going through it is just

(43:26):
a whole other different experience because he's so just calming
and just telling me I can do it, and he's
proud of me. And thank you for doing this for
our family, and it's just he's been a wonderful partner.
He's given me all my injections at home. My dad
has had to give me some injections. My brother in
law Kevin, has had to do it on days.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
When I haven't been volunteered to do it. Yes, you
guys did you day like nine o'clock in the office.

Speaker 9 (43:49):
Yes.

Speaker 5 (43:49):
So it's a family affair and I'm I'm just so
thankful to everybody that has helped.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
It is different though, now with this egg retrieval, having
somebody by your side, having your husband by your side, and.

Speaker 5 (43:58):
I totally different. Don't you just feel you're trying to
get me to crin. No, I'm not, No, I'm not okay, No.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
I'm just I just think that's a unique chance to
talk about how much this guy means you.

Speaker 5 (44:09):
Yeah, he just means everything to me. And it's I
don't even know what to say about him. Okay, Brian,
you're you're late on.

Speaker 4 (44:24):
Time to move along.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
You are playing her off this.

Speaker 4 (44:27):
Can you imagine it? The Grammy She's given a speech
and then the presenter comes up and says, no, go on,
keep going, please, we need more. And then they play
her off this stage day.

Speaker 5 (44:34):

Speaker 1 (52:05):
Okay, Okay, thank you, Okay, bye guys. One O four
to three my FM. Here's what's coming up in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (52:15):
Johnny Depp has booked his next role and it is
a classic character. I'll tell you who it is right
after traffic one O four to.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
Three my FM Entertainment Headlines.

Speaker 5 (52:27):
The very last and final episode of Stranger Things is
going to air on New Year's Eve, December thirty first,
and Netflix just announced they're going to have that episode
finale in theaters. Ticket information and theater locations will be
announced later on. But the Duffer brothers, who created Stranger Things,
they said, we're beyond excited that fans will have the

(52:47):
chance to experience the final episode in theaters. It's something
we've dreamed about for years, and they said, it's the
perfect way to celebrate the end of this adventure. And
Johnny Depp is going to start in a new version
of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. This is
his biggest role since his legal battle with Amber Heard.
The movie is called Ebenezer A Christmas Carol and it's

(53:09):
going to be out next November. Here's the thing. This
is the second version of A Christmas Carol that's been
announced this year. I think the other version is gonna
be a little bit darker than this.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
Okay, yeah, And.

Speaker 5 (53:19):
That Ebenezer Scrooge is going to be played by Willem Dafoe.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
I kind of like this though. I'd be looking forward
to this.

Speaker 5 (53:25):
You know me too.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
Things work out, the whole tiny team thing works out
in the end, and then you hear him go. They
have no living with him after this. Where's the problem?
Where's the problem?

Speaker 5 (53:36):
I'm Joe. They're tim headline seven fifty two.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
It is one of four to three my family. It's
Valentine in the morning. Are you gonna tell me the
thing about LUs Capaldi?

Speaker 4 (53:43):
Or I can't tell you?

Speaker 2 (53:45):
What is this time limit on it? What are you
talking about? You gotta asked me in like ten minutes
he was due. And John does a great job with
new music Friday. He's very much into the music scene,
goes out all the time with his beautiful girlfriend Olivia,
and they just enjoy live music and that's kind of
his thing, living down there and hunting to beach and stuff.
And so every Friday John compiles these artists that come

(54:07):
out and drop new music. And that Mumford and Son's
one was great, wasn't it with Hosier? Oh my gosh,
can you pulled that up real quick?

Speaker 5 (54:12):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (54:13):
So this is what John does. John compiles this music,
brings it to us, and then you know, kind of
reports on it all. I like rolling sone or something,
and did a really really really good job as usual
with this song.

Speaker 14 (54:24):
But don't hold to you so but hard Mortar and Stone.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
So Mumford and Son's featuring Hosier Rubber band Man fun
a great song. So then I go, hey, did my
boy Lewis Capaldi drop some stuff? And he goes, yeah,
but I'm not telling you about it yet.

Speaker 6 (54:44):
I got some big news for Lewis Capaldi, but it
has to wait just a little bit longer.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
Okay, this is worth the height too. I will say
this is worth it? Okay, is he coming in today?

just be amazing, all right, just so cool. Starbucks plans
to start using AI baristas that can predict what you'll
order before you even arrive. Are they gonna write yummy

(01:02:05):
on the side of my drink? I don't know about that.
Here's how it's gonna work. You just open up the
Starbucks app and say, hey, I name that Starbucks order,
and I'll be there in ten minutes. Your drink will
be ready at your favorite location. These AI baristas are
being tested now. They should be ready soon. So when
they say a barista, is that really what's making the drink? No,

(01:02:26):
I think the person's still making them drink. This is
like the ordering mechanism right now for now, don't you
feel like Starbucks is gonna step up their game on
the flirty notes.

Speaker 6 (01:02:42):
That's like a campaign thing that they're doing right now. Yeah,
they said they want to be more like the local
barista shop.

Speaker 4 (01:02:46):
Yeah, so they've been writing.

Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
Everyone's Everyone's cup gets writing and sometimes I have the
other day, Hey, big boy, a lot of Johns, and
then you get playing to your wife when you get home.
What do you doing at Starbucks so much? He says, Hey,
big boy with a winkie face. Joe, what's training to
get music?

Speaker 6 (01:03:07):
Well, it is a new music Friday, and one of
the big releases we're following today is a new one
from friend of the Show Lewis Capaldi. This is his
new song called Almost Swid. I we love a Lewis
Capaldi power ballad right there. We've been so happy to

(01:03:30):
have him back and we've been wondering when.

Speaker 4 (01:03:31):
He's going to come back and tour in the States.

Speaker 6 (01:03:33):
Well, just a couple of minutes ago, he just announced
his US tour, the biggest US and Canada tour that
he's ever done. So he's coming to the Hollywood Bowl
and we're gonna have tickets all next week during the
Battle of the sexes right here on Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 4 (01:03:51):
I'm Jackobucci. That's what's training in music.

Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
God, he's so good. Love this guy all right, coming
on a thousand bucks notty block and other than your house.
Where is the best place in South California to watch
the World Series?

Speaker 5 (01:04:02):
Jeene Texan and said Moni's Sports Bar in Santa Clarita.
Nother tex says Heroes Bar and Grill in Fullerton. If
you know, you know, we have one in downtown Riverside.
So fun, Jennifer said, any Islands restaurant. I remember one
year watching a playoff game and hearing the entire restaurant
yell and excitement is something you never forget.

Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
That blue nomy at Islands. That's enough cloric intake for
a week for an average human being. Then you add
in those onion rings and you get my tie. Oh yeah,
don't get to my ties. Trust from this guy that
made that mistake many years ago. You will end up

(01:04:46):
sleeping at Islands and they frown on that. It's a
lovely song, isn't it. It's the back booth. Nobody really
notices until closing time and then they're like, what are
you doing here? Three one four three is ore a
text line? What a four three? My FM? His valance

(01:05:12):
out of the morning. It is eight twenty five. Good morning, Kim.

Speaker 20 (01:05:18):

Speaker 9 (01:05:21):
I am right.

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
What's your plan? What are you doing?

Speaker 20 (01:05:25):
I'm going to be going to my local hangout, thirty
three taps, which has this Jigundo's screen as well as
you know, tons of TV screens and it's got thirty
three caps of beer.

Speaker 14 (01:05:37):
Wow, that's a lot of different beer.

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
Now, I'm not a beer drinker, but do they have
something like guinness?

Speaker 5 (01:05:42):
There?

Speaker 20 (01:05:43):
They do, and that's my number one and I always
get it in a room temperature glass because serving guinness
and a frozen glass goes against the law.

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Do they know how to do the guinness?

Speaker 11 (01:05:54):
Poor?

Speaker 2 (01:05:55):
It's very specific how you pour a guinness?

Speaker 20 (01:05:58):
Not quite there with there?

Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
All right, bring me down there as the Irish guy.
I'll show him how to do it, you know, exactly
for you.

a single feat and you know, who knows I might
meet somebody there.

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Another Kim is on the prowl. She's looking for a
little dodger blue.

Speaker 20 (01:06:27):

in entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (01:09:05):
An actor from Poltergeist is going to be handing out
candy on Halloween at the actual house from the movie
and it's in Seem Valley. I'll give you all the
details for after Traffic one O four.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
To three My FM Entertainment headlines.

Speaker 5 (01:09:21):
Creed and Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan is in
talks to play Tubs in a new version of Miami Vice.
This movie will be directed by Joseph Kazinski, who did
F one, and if the deal goes through, Michael B.
Jordan will play Ricardo Tubbs, one half of the cop
duo known as Crockett and Tubbs and James Crockett has

(01:09:42):
yet to be cast, and an actor from Poltergeist will
be handing out candy on Halloween at the actual house
from the movie. If you live in or near See
Me Valley, you can go. His name is Oliver Robbins
and he played Robbie Freeling in Poltergeist. He's one that
gets attacked by his own clown doll. And the new
owner of this house is going to be decorating it

(01:10:03):
with lots of skeletons, so it'll look like the final
scene in the movie. And you can actually book a
stay there at the house on Airbnb. I'm Jill with
there tim headlines.

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
So a second ago Jill was eating a cookie. Didn't
know I was recording her. And you have to hear
this audio because I mean she's getting into that cookie.

Speaker 5 (01:10:21):
Gosh. Oh, it's like a different flavor with every BikeE.

Speaker 18 (01:10:27):
Well, we've got some headlines just too in love with
their cookies over there.

Speaker 4 (01:10:32):
I mean she needs to focus here.

Speaker 5 (01:10:33):
I'm focused game time.

Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
I am focused on. Really you're a focus. Yeah, you're
over there making love to a cookie?

Speaker 5 (01:10:44):
You are, so I'm not jostling my overs what.

Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
That's how do you make love to a cookie? Catch?

Speaker 5 (01:10:52):
Then you're recording me, right?

Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
You were making some fun sounds.

Speaker 5 (01:10:57):
A second, I was about to get way personal.

Speaker 2 (01:11:01):
Really, Okay, I'll hit stop.

Speaker 5 (01:11:04):
Since my husband and I cannot make love during this
time of fertilization, I am making love to a cookie
because that will not jostle my ovaries.

Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
Making love to a cookie, so I wouldn't jostle your ovaries.
It's a line that I did not think out here today.

Speaker 5 (01:11:29):
Yeah, I didn't think i'd say it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
Wow. No, they're great cookies, and you've given Becky a
heck of a slugline for a promo. People are gonna
buy her cookies now, can't one of four? Three? My family?

(01:11:55):
It is Valentine in the morning. It is nine twenty three.
Do we start the scary stories next week?

Speaker 5 (01:11:59):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
Yes, yes. Brian has always told a scary story on
the air about a relative of his that was I guess,
charged with witchcraft and he tells a very scary story
about it. And she had a farmhouse I guess an
upstate New York. Yes, but she was never executed for witchcraft. Stores.

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
You know, she was put on trial three times.

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
That's that's the story. Three times. Mary Bliss Parsons aka
Goodie Parsons.

Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
Wow, So there are people in my family that really
and truly will not go into this one farmhouse up
on the top.

Speaker 2 (01:12:36):
Of the hill. So hold on, you guys have a chateau,
you have a farmhouse? Do you have a house? I mean, wow,
your dad's made a lot of money at orthopedic surgery.
That's smart. I'm gonna tell my kid to get into that.

Speaker 4 (01:12:50):
That's yeah. It takes a lot, It takes a lot
of school. Right, you know it's good.

Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
But you used to chat GPG for some stuff. Wrong
it The real key is just to be the sun
and do nothing and just get checks every quarter, those
stipends and stuff like that. So people in your family
really believe that this house is possessed, haunted, yes, guided
by the spirit of good E of Hossins.

Speaker 3 (01:13:14):
They say they've seen her walking through the hills of
upstate New York. They see, you know, her face in
the window.

Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
Exact My goodness. Wow, the story is much like that
and other tall tales. Affright, they could be yours. If
you listen to our show next week early when the

(01:13:41):
sun hasn't come up, the darkness still wraps the world
like a blanket of Halloween weenen. So there are scary stories.

Speaker 3 (01:13:54):
Next week we can hear the story of the hand
touching you in the night.

Speaker 5 (01:13:58):
Yes, that's a good one.

Speaker 18 (01:14:00):
I've told that story many many times, and every time
I bring forth the hand that touched me in my teenage.

Speaker 5 (01:14:11):
Night, clarify before the story next week.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
No, you'll have to tune in to hear that story
of the roving hand. In fact, you know what, That
one will be told at five forty five on Monday morning, Monday,
because that's the appropriate spot that John Peek wants it

(01:14:41):
to me. He asked us to tell it at four
or forty five, But we're not here yet, all right.
It's one of four to three, my fam, this is
Valentine in the morning.

Speaker 15 (01:14:49):
I'm Sedan's and Sile's to full size trucks. Experience the
incredible power and fuel efficiency with Toyota Electrified.

Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
Three things you need.

Speaker 12 (01:14:57):
To know right now.

Speaker 2 (01:14:59):
So yesterday a small plane had to make an emergency
landing on the sand at Huntington Beach. Police say the
Sessna had engine trouble and couldn't make it back to
john Went Airport. No injuries reported. Just a few days earlier,
another small planeman emergency landing at a soccer field in
Long Beach, and the kids kept playing because they were yelling,
playing to the whistle, playing to the whistle. Dodgers in

(01:15:20):
blue Jays said to kick off twenty twenty five World
Series tonight, LA is chasing back to back titles, something
baseball hasn't seen in early twenty five years. Dodgers powered
through the Reds, Phillis and Brewers to get here. Soho
hey Otani delivered one of the greatest performances in postseason
history during Game four. The NLCS oh Tony Tays Off Day.
Brightfield Show held Tony one Off one. Game one is

(01:15:48):
tonight at five o'clock. John's training in music.

Speaker 6 (01:15:50):
Well, it is a new music Friday. One of the
big releases we're following is our boy, Lewis Capaldi.

Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
He just dropped the song called Almost Go on a
Silver So this is a song survived.

Speaker 6 (01:16:05):
He actually just announced a tour, the biggest US and
Canada tour that he's ever done. He's going to be
coming by the Hollywood Bowl the next year. And we
just found out we got tickets for ya all next week.
During the Battle of Second on Valentine in the morning,
I'm johny unci that's what's training in music.

Speaker 14 (01:16:21):
Who is.

Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
One O four to three FM?

Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
It is one of four to three my family. It
is Valentine the morning Friday. We minute to Friday. Guess
Oh how great does that feel?

Speaker 10 (01:16:37):
Friday?

Speaker 5 (01:16:38):
Feel so good?

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Oh my lord, lord Lord Friday? Oh yeah, right, didn't
that feel good? It does? Why making a face?

Speaker 5 (01:16:49):
No, it just makes me laugh every time.

Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
You should make you laugh. It's much experience for you.
Right now. This is me channeling my faith giving it
to all you guys. Let's try it one more time.
Oh my lord lor lor Friday? What is what is Friday?
Is it a state of mind or simply a day?
Well you find out, my friend, when you listen to

(01:17:11):
this show, that's true. What are you doing today, bright man?

Speaker 4 (01:17:15):
I have such a packed weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:17:17):
Oh You've got so much going on with the game
tonight and everything.

Speaker 3 (01:17:19):
Going down to Little Tokyo to watch the Dodger game
at far Bar, and then after that I'm going to
see Viagara Boys at the Shrine.

Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
Does that show just pop up? Or riding?

Speaker 3 (01:17:34):
And then tomorrow my sister Emily got married recently at
a small courthouse wedding, but we're having a big party
for her at my parents' house tomorrow night.

Speaker 2 (01:17:43):
So it's just one thing after Eddy soccer going on
this weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:17:48):
That Mike is gonna be able to make his soccer
game tomorrow morning. But Maddix the Blue Infernos, he's not.
We have to get down to this party. It's it's
I'm sorry, So he's.

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
Not playing for the Blue Furnace. That's correct. What position
is he plays? A playoff? Top is a defense or
offense and goalie sometimes keeper or whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:18:04):
You call it.

Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
Dear God, I have taught you so many times not
to say God. I know when I say that, everybody
gets offended. The Blue Magnets are Infernos or whatever they
are get offended by that.

Speaker 4 (01:18:16):
Wow and Jill, Yes, weekend plans.

Speaker 5 (01:18:21):
Oh, I I thought you had an announcement.

Speaker 2 (01:18:24):
I have announcements. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:18:28):
I leave at ten thirty, okay, to go over to
another fertility appointment.

Speaker 2 (01:18:34):
Yes, I was planning to announce your fertility.

Speaker 11 (01:18:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:18:37):
I really just give you a full update myself from
my mouth to their ears about your medical life.

Speaker 5 (01:18:42):
But today is the day where I will find out
when the egg retrieval is going to be.

Speaker 2 (01:18:47):
So I have to do a trigger.

Speaker 5 (01:18:49):
Injection at some point, probably this weekend, so I just
have to take it easy, just kind of lay around,
let my body do its thing. But I'll find that
out today at eleven. When when that's going to be?

Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
All right?

Speaker 14 (01:19:00):
John?

Speaker 6 (01:19:01):
Tonight, I am going to the Lakers game. That'll be
my first NBA game ever actually, and so playing tonight
the timber Wolves. Okay, So going to that and then
tomorrow will go in to October Fest. Okay, what about
you in the weekend playing tonight's homecoming for my son,
the homecoming football game. He doesn't play for the football team,
but he's the athletic prefect Frokes Christians. It's a big,

(01:19:24):
big role. And I'm so proud of this kid. And
you know, he gets out there in front of thousands
of students at the PEP rally the day and just
commands the crowd, and of course I'm like, where you
get that from it?

Speaker 2 (01:19:35):
But he looks so good out there. I'm so proud
of them, and you wish that with any parents. When
you're a child senior and they applying to different colleges.
It is so hard to put down on paper the
life of a child and what they bring to a community.
And this kid's just great. So wherever he ends up,
you know they're gonna be one lucky school. So I
hope it's a good one because we're applying now. The
deadline I think for early action early decision. He is

(01:19:57):
coming up next Friday and we are doing eighty one
one particular school. So it's a crazy thing. It's a
crazy thing, our early decision. Okay, so you sign a
piece of paper that says if you accept my kid,
my kid will go to your school. Okay, so it's
kind of a contract between the school and the student
and the family and stuff. So you pick your very best,

(01:20:18):
absolutely dream school. Where are you going at the corner?
Go cough in the corner? This is your godside.

Speaker 5 (01:20:25):
I didn't want to interrupt with the cough, and.

Speaker 2 (01:20:29):
Now it's unannounced, it's like taking it back. Yeah, okay,
go ahead, John. Did you have like eaty one of
stuff in your time? The early action anyone all those
things not that.

Speaker 3 (01:20:39):
I know of.

Speaker 4 (01:20:39):
If so, maybe for athletes, and I wasn't going to
college for a sports.

Speaker 2 (01:20:43):
Well this isn't even for an athlete in general. This
is just in generally eaty one for any school if
they have it that you're into, not that I remember,
and then sometimes you're eighty one. Gives you a better
chance as understanding getting accepted at school because you're staying
right away, like no, I'm picking you over the school.
If you say yes, I'm saying yes to the dress.
So it's kind of like that. It's pretty cool though,

(01:21:04):
but it's fascinating.

Speaker 5 (01:21:05):
Yeah, yeah, cool.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
Still trying to see if soccer is an opportunity for
him in college. We've had a lot of a lot
of like nibbles and some close to like offers and
stuff like that, but still waiting on some others. And
then some schools. It's really weird. They'll bring you in
for the camps and they tell you all the right
things and then they just go cold on you. You
know what's up? La calling them out? Call them out.

(01:21:29):
I'm calling them out.

Speaker 3 (01:21:31):
Have you done?

Speaker 2 (01:21:32):
Yeah? What have you done?

Speaker 4 (01:21:34):
What have you done?

Speaker 5 (01:21:35):
Well?

Speaker 2 (01:21:36):
It's a whole I'll do a big podcast at one
time for people that are into sports and looking for
their kids to play in college. But a lot of
these camps are also money makers and they want to
make money for their schools. But when you tell a
kid like, oh my god, dude, you're great. I loved
you at this camp. I want to get you in
front of the head coach and then you kind of
go cold. You know, that's a little I don't know,
I wonder about it. But a lot of other great
coaches out there too, So it's a whole process. Whether

(01:21:57):
it plays doesn't play, we'll find out. But you know,
it's life where it's gonna take you, what's gonna happen.
You know, it's a road for all of us. And
it's exciting because I know what a great kid he is.

Speaker 5 (01:22:09):
He is, he really is.

Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Yeah, he is a good kid.

Speaker 5 (01:22:11):
He's respectful, he's fun, he's so handsome.

Speaker 2 (01:22:15):
Oh my god, this is the last thing I'll say
because I know now we're just talking too much about
my life here. I apologize for that. Well, no, people
don't care about this, but does anybody may? Casting directors.
I got back his senior photos. Oh my gosh, my gosh.

Speaker 5 (01:22:33):
Leilani sent them to me and I died it. Everyone see,
it's like that.

Speaker 2 (01:22:36):
He should have been an outer Banks or something. Honestly, listen,

Springsteen Delivered Me From Nowhere has been called the best
film of the year, and it starts Golden Globe winner
Jeremy Allen White from The Bear as Bruce Springsteen. It
also stars Academy Award nominee Jeremy Strong. But what's really
cool is Jeremy Allen White does all of his own singing.
And the director of the film did an interview and
he was saying how he knew that Jeremy Allen White

(01:23:33):
could be the Boss, but he wasn't sure about his
singing abilities. And they got on stage or got on set,
and he knew, Okay, yeah, this is going to be great,
and it was so great. In fact, Bruce Springsteen himself

have a function, you have a work event, and you're
anxious and you're not feeling yourself. She goes, don't be
that way. It's going to be a very special time.
Get in there and have fun. And then she said,
nobody is paying attention to you. They're too worried about themselves,
what they're wearing, what they're going to be doing. So
you go in, you have fun, and you steal the show.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
