Speaker 1 (00:00):
Pleasure to welcome Jason Isaac to the program. Jason is
a former congressman and now as CEO of American Energy Institute.
With some analysis for US on another President Trump executive
order having nothing to do with tariffs, this has to
do with American energy production. Jason, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Good morning, great to be on.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Good to have you here. We know that this president,
this administration is not a big fan, to say the
least of the climate alarmist policies that have been promoted
by the left, and he's in the process with this
executive order of basically unleashing all of our fossil fuel capability.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Right, Yeah, he is absolutely had coal miners from West
Virginia and from Wyoming in the Oval officer in the
White House just a couple of days ago with the ceremony,
really directing Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, to go after
states like New York, California, Vermont, and others that are
affecting commerce around the entire United States by either passing

(01:03):
state laws or they're egregiously violating the law that they've
passed in their states that do affect commerce around the world.
In the case of New York, finding oil and gas
companies billions of dollars. It's happened in Louisiana recently. And
I've done reports on groups in DC, the Environmental Law

(01:23):
Institute that has been going out in indoctrinating judges with
questionable debatable so called climate scients, trying to get rulings
in their favors. They've been doing this for eight years
now and it's working. These rulings against companies are going
to increase the cost of everything, not just energy, but
the cost of everything because energy isn't part of the economy.

(01:45):
It is really the heart of the economy.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Well just in one simple way. I mean everything comes
on a truck or a train, or ship or an
aircraft or something that's powered by fossil fuel for by
and large.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Well, you're absolutely right. I mean, there were reports just
the other night that Apple was flying in five massive
cargo planes to bring in millions of iPhone from China
to beat the cutoff for the tariffs, and so they're
spending a ton of money on jet fuel. I thought
it was great that there. You know, they advertise their

(02:19):
phones and things is carbon neutral, certified carbon neutral, which
is another scam, and so I loved it. I think
this is great. Apple's living in a high carbon lifestyle
trying to bring in phones to the United States before
the tariffs go into effect.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah. Well, I think one of the one of the
pieces that that really puts teeth into this is in
section four where he's talking to the President's talking about
zero based regulations, and he's basically telling these agencies, you
will put a sunset provision that this regulation will die
within one year unless you come up with a really

(02:55):
good reason we needed to keep it.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
That's huge, Yeah, it really is. And what the e
is doing to get rid of the endangerment finding that
has endangered the lives of Americans since two thousand and
nine when it went into effect during the Obama administration
and a rogue EPA. This was not an Act of
Congress that declared that greenhouse gas emissions. Basically, you and
I are a danger to human health and the environment

(03:20):
because we exhale CO two, because we sweat, which creates
water vapor, which is a greenhouse gas. I mean, the
absurdity that greenhouse gas emissions are a danger to human health.
It is absolutely absurd, and I'm glad that the EPA
is going to work to pull back and rescind the
endangerment finding we've become world leaders in clean air in
this country by focusing on the criteria pollutants, things that

(03:43):
actually harm human health in certain concentrations. We've reduced those
nearly eighty percent over the last five decades. Doing that
while producing and utilizing more energy, including coal, over the
last fifty years. But we've embraced pollution control technology, something
are partners, especially China, should should be doing.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
We hear these stories about how China is building, I
don't know, got awful number of the coal fired plants
every month, and we're not building hardly any Are we
going to ramp that up here?

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Yeah? I hope with this executive order and the actions
that the administration is taking that will happen. Because coal, again,
with our leading pollution control technology, the bag houses and
scrubbers that we place on coal fired power plants, it
captures everything that's bad that before it gets into the air.
That's wonderful. But it provides affordable and reliable electricity, and

(04:36):
you can keep fuel on site storage that will last
nine months, twelve months. You just keep it in a
railcar on site, you keep it covered You can't do
that with anything else that you can ramp up and
ramp down. Natural gas is really expensive to keep on
site storage. We need more pipelines, we need more natural gas,
we need more nuclear, and we need a lot more

(04:56):
coal if we're going to compete with China.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Not only that, but as the President said, all works
in all kinds of weather. It does not depends on Hey,
when you were in Congress, When you were in Congress
stalkham with Jason Isaac, American Energy Institute CEO. When you
were in Congress and dealing with with the climate freaks,
did you have the impression that most of them were
actually true believers or was there something about their agenda

(05:22):
and accumulating power that was important to them.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Yeah, it seemed to be about power and controlled because
when you talk to them, because they all want to
their cult like fascination they have with decarbonization, that's their
holy grail, that's what they worship. But then when you
talk about nuclear, which provides carbon free electricity. I live
a high carbon lifestyle. I think the rest of the
world should too. This focus on net zero and decarbonization

(05:47):
is silly. It doesn't do anything to mitigate a change
in climate. It just makes everything more expensive. But when
you actually talk about a solution to their their so
called problem, they're they're opposed to it. And I think
that's where it becomes very evident that they're hypocritical and
it's about controlling every aspect of our lives. And then
when you look where their funding comes from. I mean
when they're receiving funding from the US Agency for International

(06:10):
Development us AID, that's going to US nonprofits that are
propping up these these Chinese based companies that are selling
US solar panels and wind turbines and wind components. It's
really they've been infiltrated by the CCP to the complete
detriment of economic prosperity and environmental leadership here in the
United States.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I always thought one of the most ridiculous things was
the two greatest producers of carbon emissions on a planet,
China or India, and particularly China, have zero interests in
any of these climate agreements that the whole world is
supposed to embrace. But yeah, yeah, we're supposed to cripple
ourselves because the world's going to end in twelve years

(06:53):
if we don't. How many times has the world been
going to end in twelve years.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, every single prediction from climate alarmist has never come true.
Every single one has been a complete failure. And I
think people, i think the general public is waking up
to that realization that they're tired of people crying wolf
and nothing happens except ours. The environment continues to get
better here in the United States. But now they're waking

(07:16):
up to the realization that our electricity costs are skyrocketing.
They're getting out of control. Millions of Americans are losing
their electricity in their homes every single year because they
can't afford to pay their bills. They don't have the
credit available to pay their bills, and that's putting people
in the threat for being homeless. Because your homeowner's insurance
policy or your leases require that you have utilities connected,

(07:39):
and when you get them disconnected, you're at the threat
for homelessness. And that's because of rising cost of energy.
I'm glad that the Trump administration is focused on bringing it.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Down or freezing the death I mean, this is serious business. Jason,
Thanks always, great information. Appreciate your time.
