Speaker 1 (00:00):
Our official Oscar fan. Ritchie and Papillion is with us
for his Friday Rent Reggie.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Good morning, Good morning guys that were doing.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Two and ol big guy two and oh.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
I know we got that little number next to our name. Also,
you know that little fall little number? Was it twenty three?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Twenty three and twenty four?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I like that. I see Rosie's on his sport day
week alright.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
He had to run away, Ritchie after you absolutely spanked
him in this segment last Friday. It was one of
my favorite Richie and Papillion segments of all time. You
guys were arguing as to whether or not Colorado was
worth You're really getting hyped up about what were your
thoughts on last week's game and were you right about
your assessment of this team.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I look the atmosphere there. I'll just say this, I
have the headset on. I couldn't hear it during the game.
The atmosphere was tremendous. The hate there was, I really
haven't seen that in a long time. Some things happened
at the game. I mean, I don't know who was
throwing bottles at the Colorado team. That's got to stop.
I mean, as they were leaving the field. You can't

(01:03):
do that kind of stuff. But it was just it
was the way it's supposed to be. I mean, the
first half was tremendous. I think the second half we
took our foot off the pedal a little bit. I
thought the referee was awful. It was I think terrible
two touchdowns backs. We really should have forty two points.
But I will say Jim was right there. I mean
we were a lot better than them, but they also

(01:25):
adjusted a little bit. I think it's a good teaching
point for coach rule. Now that showed the team, hey,
you got to play four quarters because in another game,
all of a sudden, it's twenty eight seventeen. It took
a different game. So we got to fix the kicking
game a little bit. I don't know. Sean was saying
it was the snapping. I don't know what it is.
You got to hit field goals, especially in conference play,
in the block punt. But aside from that, you know,

(01:47):
I thought we really really played with two and oh
it was supposed to be two and oh, we're not
turning the ball over. That's another thing. The penalties we
got to clean it up. But again, I think a
lot of those penalties were just I don't know what
they were see any I mean we were being held
the whole game, but then against the big twelve reps.
So you know, but great, great time. I really had

(02:08):
a good time.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Was good. You got any game day issues? How was
your You said you had to pay a little more
for parking? Huh?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah? You know you go to the stadium and all
of a sudden the parking doubles. Where I park. I
think it's west of Haymarket Park. I guess the city
of Lincoln owns it more from ten dollars to twenty dollars.
And then, and you know, Haymarket Park's been ripping people
off for years, that went up to forty dollars. You know,
I don't understand it. I mean, when we're owing six
so one in five, they don't make the parking five dollars, right,

(02:37):
but we get a big Colorado game coming in, they
just decide to jack up the prices. You know, were
the people here, you know to this program? Why are
you robbing us? It's just unbelievable. Forty dollars to park
and you can't even get out of it. Try getting
out of hate Market Park. That's a whole other issue.
And you know, in the city of Lincoln, doubling the prices,
you know for my parking on I guess it's a

(03:00):
dumb side. I don't know what it is. That stuff's
got to stop.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
I mean, come on, you ever, uh you ever try
the North Bottoms, you know what I mean? If you
come down tenth Street from the north, I can't.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Get out of the city. Then, Gary, I can't get
out of the city. What's the Haymarket Park? I get
out of there. I'm on the highway. I'm home at
fifty minutes.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I'd go down there. There be there'd be people. I
don't know if they're own the house of arounding them or whatever,
but they you could park in their yard. This was
several years ago for like ten bucks or something's probably twelve.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
And that's fine, you know, but this is the actual
university in the city robbing us because it's a big game.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
I mean, come on, So you think it's going to
be less, it's going to cause less tomorrow night.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yes, it's going to be back to normal. Guarantee, really
guaranteed ten dollars. Market's thirty, which is ridiculous anyway, you know,
But what are you going to do. That's that's what
it is. That they know they got you. There's no
buses of subways or anything like that. So they got
you so that you pay it, but you complain.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
So okay, So what about tomorrow? This game? I got
to you. You got to let any heartburn about this game?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
We shouldn't. I mean, let's let's go in there and
I know it's a run oriented team. Let's just stop
the run. Let's shut this is a possibility of a
shutout game. You want to run the ball. You also
want a quarterback to throw it down the field a
little bit. Obviously stop the run. But I want to
see like we did in game one, play everybody, continue

(04:30):
with the return game and just get ready for next
next week's conference play. Just go out there right away
and get up fourteen nothing, twenty one nothing, and get
everybody out by the middle of the third quarter and
have one of those fifty five seven games. Those games,
it is.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
It is big. If you can get everybody some snaps,
everybody on the rock.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Now, you're not going to be able to do that
as you get into conference players that you know, everything
gets up. So but yeah, if we can do that
that'd be great.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Hey, Richie, we'll see you there man.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Okay, guys, there you goes our

Speaker 1 (05:04):
