(00:00):
Scott Vordies. I mean, I'veheard Jim Rose here on kfab's Morning News
pretty much declare that President Biden hasParkinson's. He did it a whole rosie
to Genozie earlier this week on Parkinson's. I don't know that the president has
Parkinson's until some doctor says, yes, the President has been diagnosed with Parkinson's
(00:21):
disease. And if that's the case, that's a very sad thing and things
will have to happen. I wantto offer up another possibility, though,
Let's look at the same path thatsay, let's walk down the path where
the President of the United States doesn'thave Parkinson's disease, nor does he have
(00:46):
any neurological disorder. Well, thenwhy in the world would this guy be
coming to the White House nine timesand nine months He's got to meet with
other people at the White House too. Did he meet with the president for
three times? Why else would thisbe happening. Here's the best I can
(01:07):
come up with, And again Ihave to stress I'm not saying this to
be funny or to make fun ofthe President of the United States. I'm
looking at the totality of this man'scareer in the Senate and in the White
House's Vice president and president. Itcould be that all the people around Joe
(01:32):
Biden have seen the same issues thatwe're all now talking about, and they've
seen it for a long time. We've been talking about it for a long
time. The difference here is thatpeople who have voted for him, many
who say, well, I guessI'll vote for him again even with these
concerns. Now they're the ones talkingabout it. So when you've got members
(01:57):
of the Senate the House, we'reall saying, are you sure he's fit
to do this? What's going onwith him? When you've got George Clooney
and Rob Reiner saying we've seen thisbehavior for a long time. Someone's called
attention to it. It's out there, it can't be ignored. We've got
to make another choice. I'm wonderingif it's not that they're bringing in neurological
(02:24):
specialists to try and find something wrongwith Joe Biden. Where the guy shows
up and they're like, well,I think after a few minutes of talking
to him, you'll surely find somethingwrong with him. And so the doctor
(02:46):
gives him a once over and says, well, no, I mean he's
he's a little older. I mean, the stress of the presidency is tough
on anybody. You know, I'vementioned this before. You look at four
years into AMA's presidency, where helooked like he'd aged twenty four years.
After eight years, it looked likehe'd aged almost eighty years. I mean,
(03:09):
it takes a toll on you,and when you're already that old,
it's gonna be exponentially worse. Iabsolutely excuse President Biden from being beaten down
by this job. It's a toughjob. There's a comedian named Brian Reagan
(03:30):
who says, can you imagine beingthe president where every single day, at
whatever hour of the middle of thenight or early morning, someone probably every
single day is waking you up,going, mister president, mister president,
we have big problems. And that'show you start your day every single day.
In many instances, you'd just goneto bed a few hours before that.
(03:52):
Mister President, we have major problems. We need you to get up,
mister present every day. I excusePresident Biden from being beat down by
this very tough job. So theybring in the specialists and say what's wrong
with him? And the specialist takesa look and he says nothing. All
(04:15):
right, well, come back nextweek. I mean, and it's probably
not that quick. It's like, all right, well, I'll take a
look, and I've got to takea look at all my data and review
my notes and so forth, andI'll let you know then a few days
later. I don't know if thePresident of the United States gets the same
automated text message or voicemail message therest of us do when we go to
the doctor. You want to getthe text message, right, you don't
(04:39):
want the phone call. Text messageis we took a look at the results
of your biopsy and it's fine, okay, thanks. If the text message
says please call the office, you'relike, ah, geez ah, no.
So I imagine that they probably havea more personal way of delivering the
news to President first laid and wetook a look at everything here and everything's
(05:04):
fine, and they're like, takeanother look. Surely there's gotta be something
wrong with him. Did you lookfor this? Well, no, I
didn't. All right, and comeback and look, And he comes back
and he does in his another assessment, comes back with the same thing that
the special prosecutor came up with,Like, well, he's he's older,
(05:27):
and he's forgetful, and sometimes helikes to shove both feet down his throat.
But I don't find anything neurologically wrongwith him. Look again, there's
got do. We have to findsomething that can explain away and allow him
with some level of dignity to sayI've been diagnosed with this. And it's
(05:49):
for that reason why I'm ending mycampaign for reelection and turning the reins over
to whoever. The same people willtell me what I'm doing every day,
tell me I'm doing now, andthey're gonna work with that person. I
don't know. I've got the diagnosis, and for the good of the nation
(06:09):
and my family, I'm going. And so they're trying to find something and
they can't and the explanation for that. And again this is coming after my
diagnosis of Senator Vice President President Bidenand everything he's been, everything he said.
We're talking about a man who openlyplagiarized major portions of his speech when
(06:34):
he was running for the presidency thirtysome years ago. We're talking about a
man who has lied about everything fromdegrees he received in college to whether or
not a drunk driver killed members ofhis family to saying that, Oh yeah,
(06:57):
the Obama campaign called me and said, what do you want to do,
Joe? Do you want to bevice president? Do you want to
be Secretary of State? I mean, you pick what you want to do,
Joe. We want to have youpart of this team. And they
had to come back and say,no, we didn't. We didn't call
him and tell him choose the jobyou want in the administration. We don't
know why he would say that.We were talking about a guy who's told
(07:19):
people in wheelchairs stand up and berecognized. And we're talking about a guy
who yesterday referred to the president ofUkraine as President Putin and referred to his
own vice president, Kamala Harris,as Vice President Trump. And they're looking
They've got a neurological specialist coming in, going what is it? What's wrong
(07:42):
with him? And he's looked himover three times and says nothing. And
you know why that might be?Maybe he's just not that bright. Has
this occurred to anybody? We're tryingto figure out, like, well,
what's he got, What's what's thematter with him? He might have a
case of the dumbs. His entirecareer, he's had a case of the
(08:07):
dumbs. He says dumb things, and people then look at that and go,
ah, it's just old Scranton Joe. That's old Amtrak Joe. Right,
that's just Joe be and Joe.Hey, you know, what are
you gonna do? Uh? Andmister president, this would be in the
Obama administration. President Obama, yourvice president just said that your opinions on
(08:31):
gay marriage have been evolving, andyou're willing to look at the issue.
Ah, for crap, they no, they're now, I've got now,
I got to do something about gaymarriage. You know, this is an
entire political lifetime with this man whosays and does dumb things. Maybe he's
(08:54):
just dumb, that's and that's fun. I have friends who are dumb.
They'd probably say the same thing aboutme. I have coworkers who are dumb.
Not you, Lucy, But youknow, you've got these people that
you know, you have family members. You're like, well, you know
(09:16):
that has a hard time holding thejobs and he just can't help himself.
He says and does dumb things, but we love him and that's fine.
But it's not a neurological affliction. And based on nearly fifty years of a
political career. You can't always explainit away because of his age. Either
(09:37):
he's dumb, Scott, didn't youtell us a moment ago that you weren't
trying to make fun I'm not tryingto make fun of him. I don't
have a better term for it,but that's my assessment. Why else would
they bring this guy in over andover again. Either he has a neurological
(10:01):
disorder or he doesn't. And they'relike, there's got have you ever taken
a car time and time again tosomeone going well, I still hear that
sound. There's gotta be something. And they look like we took the whole
thing apart, took the engine blockoff, change the belt, change the
hole. You put this in here, it got a new clamp over here.
We take a look at that.I can't find anything wrong with it.
Well, there's got to be something. Well, the car is kind
(10:24):
of old and it's kind of dumb. I wanted to ask you about your
uh you mixed up President's Zelenski andputin earlier today and you now have sort
of your key allies, including theBritish Prime Minister, the President of France
and the German Chancellor having to stepin and make excuses for you on that,
(10:46):
and officials here saying off the recordthat your decline has become noticeable.
Hasn't this now, frankly, becomedamaging for America's standing in the world?
Thank you? Did you see anydamage? Who are standing in my leading
at this conference? What did youfind? Did you see any damn standing
leading this conference? Yeah? Hejust said world leaders are having to explain
(11:09):
away the incorrect things that you say. And privately, this is a reporter
there on the ground talking with people, and he said, privately, there
are several people saying that your America'sstanding in the world is being damaged by
you. Have you seen a moresuccessful conference? Oh, we had a
(11:33):
successful conference though in Washington, DC. There was a lot that we heard
yesterday from the President on this abouthow great NATO is. And I'm the
first, you know, I'm thepresident stands up to Vladimir Putin and I
told the world Putin's going to attackUkraine, and I'd build a coalition because
NATO's a great coalition. Because NATOis here, the world is more safe.
(11:56):
We've got a group of nations. You attack one of us, you
attack all of us, and we'rethere and we're ready to defend all these
great nations and not let bullies likePutin start running roughshot over other nations.
And so Putin, we knew hewas going to attack Ukraine, and we
built a coalition and we told himyou better not do it, and then
(12:18):
he did it. Anyway, despitethis great leadership that President Biden is saying
that he has. We knew thatPutin was going to do it, and
then he did it, despite allof this stuff. So at the end
of all of this, two anda half years of all of this,
now we've got what are we touting. We had a great conference. We
(12:43):
had all these world leaders come toWashington, d C. And we had
meetings. Have you ever seen amore successful conference? This is what we're
later in this I wish I hadthe ability to jump around here and provide
the audio for you on some ofthis stuff. But later in the speech,
(13:05):
President Biden was asked about his VicePresident Kamala Harris, like, why
do you think what has she donethat would make her fit to be a
great president? And he said, you know, because Biden's always about all
right, Look, I'm not jokingaround here. Look number one. Number
(13:26):
two, you know he does that. So number one, her leadership on
freedom that women have in healthcare decisionsand freedom of their own bodies. So
number one, Kamala Harris is awoman who supports abortion, and that's apparently
an accomplishment that makes her fit tobe president. And number two, she's
(13:54):
done a lot of things. Thatwas the answer he gave. He was
asked point blank, what are heraccomplishments. Well, she is a woman
who supports abortions. That's an accomplishment. And number two, well, she's
done a lot of things. Letme track that clip down and play it
for you here after a Fox Newsupdate. Next, Scott voices News Radio
(14:18):
eleven ten kfab I swear to you, I don't take any pleasure in my
assessment. At the start of theprogram, because we're trying to figure out
why a neurological specialist who specializes in, among other things, Parkinson's visited the
president three times and nine months. The White House says, well, it
(14:39):
was part of his annual physical.Like three times and nine months is not
an annual physical. What's going on? Does he have a neurological disorder?
And they all say no, Hedoesn't. He's fine. He had clear
bill of health, absolutely fine.Doesn't need a cognitive test. He gets
one every day as president. Yeah, that's what we're afraid of. So
what's going on? And my assessmentis just like if you've had a car
(15:05):
that was running really poorly, makinga lot of really weird sounds and you
take it to the mechanic and go, what's wrong with this car and the
mechanic goes, I've looked, Ican't find anything. Well, look again,
there's got to be something. Ithink they're just trying to find something.
There's got to be something because theydon't want to come to the realization
that might be pretty clear after fiftyyears of this man in public office doing
(15:33):
and saying dumb things, and thatmight be the ultimate assessment is he's kind
of dumb. Well, there's gotto be an explanation. I don't know.
Is there an explanation beyond what Isaid? So maybe that's the case.
Maybe not here I thought was.And there's a lot of people talking
about how during his time with theNATO meeting yesterday, he referred to Voldimir
(16:00):
Zelenski of Ukraine as President Putin hecalled his own Vice President Vice President Trump.
Well, yeah, he gets confused. He makes up names. I
corrected myself. I know who sheis. I don't worry. Look Number
one, I'm fine. Number twoother stuff. You know. So here,
(16:21):
I thought was one of the biggermoments in the speech that is not
getting as much attention today. YourVice President Kamala Harris would be ready to
serve on day one. Can youelaborate on that? What is it about
her attributes and her accomplishments over thelast four years that make her ready to
serve on day one if necessary?First of all, the way she's handled
(16:44):
the issue of freedom of women's bodiesto cap control over their bodies. Secondly,
her ability to handle almost any issueon the board. All right,
these are her accomplishments. Number one, her ability to handle the issue of
women's freedom over their bodies. Inother words, she is a woman who
supports abortion, and that is toutedas not just an accomplishment, that is
(17:10):
the number one accomplishment of the Vicepresident of the United States, someone who
served in the United States Senate andbefore that as a prosecutor attorney general in
California. Her number one accomplishment shesupports abortion. And number two other stuff,
(17:30):
her ability to handle anything else she'sgiven. Isn't she the borders are
isn't she in control of the southernborder? What would be her accomplishment there?
But this is a president who hasa hard time going through his own
accomplishments. There was another question, and I'm gonna roughly cue this up here
(17:52):
to when the president had to addresshis own accomplishments. Let's listen on this
part. What concerns do you haveabout Vice President Harris's ability to beat Donald
Trump if she were at the topof the ticket. Look, I wouldn't
have picked Vice President Trump to bevice president. Yeah, I think she's
not qualified to be president. Solet's start there. Let's start there,
(18:15):
let's stop there. What do youthink Kamala Harris thought when she heard that
when he just referred to her asvice president Trump with all of this with
the vulture circling on his campaign, and she just heard him refer to her
as vice president Trump? What doyou think she thought, Lucy? I
(18:37):
think she was thinking, after all, I've accomplished, how many things do
I have to accomplish? Can't yousee that? I'm a woman. But
that's a major accomplishment. All right, Now, let's listen to the rest
of this answer. Number one.The fact is that the consideration is that
(19:03):
I think I'm the most qualified personto run for president. All right,
So okay, let's first look atone thing. I think it's as the
older you get, the louder youget when clearing your throat. It's possible
(19:25):
to clear your throat without making alot of noise. I'll do it right
now. Do you hear that Idid? Maybe a little bit. Yeah,
but it's not loud. I mean, I just cleared my throat as
quietly as possible. And the louderyou get, it's just like all right,
number one, number one, youknow, So I think it's that
(19:53):
that has nothing to do necessarily withPresident Biden. I think that's just a
factor of age. The older youget, I think, the more full
throated you get in making the I'mclearing my so now Jim Rose is in
the studio loudly coughing in the background. See Jim's getting old. Right,
Yeah, there you go. Solet's see here. Yeah, but what
(20:17):
but before you move on, hesaid I'm the most qualified person to run
for the presidency. Yes, hedidn't lay out the criteria. Oh no,
we're going to get into that herethe rest of his answer. But
I wanted to. I thought I'dbetter stop and call attention to that that
just occurred to me. But alsothe question was again about Vice President Harris,
(20:37):
what makes her qualified? And hecalled her Trump and then said,
I'm the most qualified to run forpresident. I beat him once and I
will beat him again in what year. Secondly, the idea I certainly sended
a long time. Yes, theidea that senators andresson I'm running for office
(21:03):
worry about the ticket is not unusual. And I might add for at least
five presidents running or incumbent presidents whohad lower numbers than I have now who
later in the campaign. So there'sa long way to go in this campaign.
And so I that might be true. I don't know who. I
(21:30):
would be curious historically to learn whothat would be. All right, let's
go on. But he didn't sayand they won, by the way.
Yeah, So he could have beentalking about Carter. Yeah, he could
have been talking about cart He couldhave been talking about H. W.
Bush. Anyway, what I'm justgonna keep moving, Yeah, keep moving,
And because look I got more workto do, We got more work
(21:52):
to finish. There's so much,we've made so much progress. Think about
it, Think about it, thinkabout what we are economically wrote to the
rest of the world. That's that'snot an example of an accomplishment the rest
of the world. And he youknow, I'm glad we got to this
point because there was something else inthis conference. He was talking about how
(22:14):
these other world leaders are coming tohim, begging him, saying, please,
you've got to run, and you'vegot to win. You got to
beat Trump. We can't have Trumpin office. He's going to dissolve NATO.
He's gonna let Vladimir Putin do whateverthe hell he wants. We don't
know if NATO is still going tobe a thing under president. Did we
forget that Trump was president for fouryears. We have a track record.
(22:37):
Did he dissolve NATO? Did heinvade France? No? What is he
talking about And the fact that otherworld leaders are coming to him saying,
you gotta win, we want youin office. We can't deal with Trump,
I think is maybe one of thebest things in Trump's favor. If
you're the president of the United States, you've got to do policies that work
(23:00):
best for America. And when otherworld leaders are like, we like Joe,
that's not necessarily a great thing. We got this idea that you're the
president, you're the leader of thefree world. But that doesn't mean you're
betting over backwards, frontwards, sidewaysto appease all these world leaders, to
(23:21):
make them happy, so that they'relike putting signs in their yard for your
reelection. The fact that they don'twant Trump. And what did Trump do
in NATO? He went to therest of these nations and said, I'm
taking a look at the books.None of you guys are paying. NATO
is a coalition of America and theseEuropean nations to say, if, for
(23:42):
example, Russia invades one of you, we all have your back. Now,
you guys aren't paying for this. And many of you are engaged in
trade relations, whether it's an oilpipeline, whether it's agg production, whatever,
you're engaged in trade relations with Russia. Why is America paying so much
(24:03):
to defend you from Russia that you'rehaving oil pipeline negotiations with What are we
doing we're paying for all this?I didn't even know what we're paying for
we're paying for the common defense. We're footing the bill here in America.
You're gonna have to pay a littlebit more. And then we got to
the thing where one of these worldleaders said, well, what if we
don't pay and Russia invades us?That's when Trump told him, then I
(24:27):
would tell Putin to do whatever thehell you want. That's what Trump.
That's where this quote comes from. It's not like Trump said, I didn't
say that. He did say that, but he didn't say, Yeah,
if someone's in good standing with NATO, go in there and do whatever the
hell you want. It was we'rein this organization, but we're not paying.
(24:48):
What if Putin invades us? Welltough. Has anybody ever examined ever?
But has anybody examined recently ish theneed for NATO any longer? Biden
brought it up. So some peopledon't think NATO should exist anymore. And
I'm not saying that's where I'm at. I'm saying, has anybody looked into,
(25:10):
well, whether this is actually evennecessary? I think the answer to
your question, By the way,I just cleared my throat again with the
microphone on you did you hear thatone? Here? To see it's possible
to do that. The answer isrooted in both what Biden seems to be
saying and what Trump seems to besaying, and that is that if Russia
(25:33):
invades France, England, are wenot going to come to their raid?
Hey, I don't have a documentthat says we have to. Maybe we
will, maybe we won't. Isn'tan incumbent upon you to be a good
partner of ours so that it's inour best interest to help you out here?
And that's the same thing that peoplehave always said about Trump. You
(25:56):
know, some world leader says, what if I'm not paying my NATO fees,
my dues, whatever it is,and we get invaded, are you
not gonna help us? No?Now does that mean that America is not
gonna help? No, We're gonnahelp. But what does Trump ultimately want?
This is this is the negotiation tacticused by Trump that so many people
can't figure out. Trump says Iwant this, throws something out there against
(26:22):
the wall, and people are like, that's crazy. He doesn't want this,
he wants that. And there betweenthis and that is negotiation. What
does he want? He wants thatcountry to pay, so it's not just
America. So what happened The countrysaid, what if we don't pay and
we get invaded and then we're notgonna help you. What happened That country
(26:44):
paid. That's what Trump wanted. He didn't want Putin to invade. He
wanted that country to pony up,and that's what happened. So why are
all these world leaders coming out thereand saying, please, please, mister
Biden, You've got to be thepresident of you the United States. We've
got to have you, because it'sworking out really well for them. I
bet many of them aren't paying andthey can They know America is going to
(27:08):
bail them out, and they don'thave that assurance under Trump. Is there
anything else in this answer? Iwanted to listen to name me a world
leader. He wouldn't want to tradeplaces with our economy. Don't care.
I don't care. I don't livein Germany. I've never been to I
don't mind. I'd go. I'vebeen to France, I've been to Italy.
(27:30):
I'd like to go to England someday. I'd like to visit these places.
I don't live in those places. You're not the president of those places.
What's going on? With inflation here. You know, there was something
that he's said. Maybe it's inthis answer, and if so, I'm
sorry for the repetition, but itdeserves to be heard. Where he said,
you know, I get into officeand all you guys like he's fighting
(27:52):
with the media. I don't knowthat anyone in the media said these things.
But he's like you people said itcouldn't happen all the time. He
said, you said that my policieswere going to lead to inflation, and
now look inflation's coming down. Like, yes, after your policies led to
record inflation. Yeah, it's managedto cool to where now it's only three
point some percent year over year andnot eight What else? Over eight hundred
(28:17):
thousand manufacturing jobs one point five millionjob? Mey, So things are moving?
What? Where? What? Thisis the question I had earlier.
Where are the manufacturing jobs? Well, he said, over one hundred thousand
manufacturer over one point million? Thingsare moving? What? One point what
million? What? These are hislit He gave us two accomplishments. One
(28:41):
is eight hundred thousand phantom manufacturing jobsand the other one is one point some
million nothing. What This conference isso long? If I back it up
is going to back up a minuteand not a few seconds. But you
all heard that, right, Iheard it. He's listing his accomplishments.
(29:02):
He gave us two things. Oneof them was a number attached with a
noun. The other one was justa number that was attached to nothing.
And anyway, this is where Iget my assessment that they keep bringing this
doctor into the White House going whatis it? What's wrong with him?
(29:23):
Nothing? He's just kind of dumb. Look, you can say this is
age, you can say this isParkinson's He's been saying stuff like this for
fifty years. And I think nowsome people have finally decided, all right,
I'm tired of it. But nowis he gonna step down? The
(29:44):
Biden watches on the media is watchinga couple of interesting things politically for this
weekend. One, will President JoeBiden still be the Democratic Party nominee for
the presidency on Monday? And ifso, who is the ticket that he'll
be running against? Because they're expectingthat President Trump is going to make the
(30:07):
vice president announcement today or this weekend. Here, well, i'm gonna give
you my early reaction to Trump's pickfor vice presidency I'm going to see the
note Trump has picked this person tobe his running mate. I'm gonna go
oh and then move on with mylife. I don't know that I'm gonna
(30:30):
have a bigger reaction to it thanthat unless it's Doug Bergham. Doug Bergham
got points zero zero, zero percentsupport in the Republican primary. What about
him is so special? I don'tknow. He seems like a nice enough
guy. Maybe I'll have to getto know him. Clay and Buck will
have a lot more on this nextHave a great weekend. Scott Voyes Mornings
