Speaker 5 (01:47):
Corporate?
Speaker 2 (01:47):
Corporate corporate fire out of the way, here comes menace
god man. Yeah, you're right, Like maybe you remember when
I was like saying like, if youre a certain age,
you shouldn't be on social media anymore. Yeah, maybe corporate
life should be the same. I don't think you're like
you're not getting well people talking about like politicians at
(02:09):
a certain point, like it's time ago. Maybe it's just
not for you anymore.
Speaker 6 (02:12):
You know.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Well, we are surrounded by the corporate folks this weekend.
It's the iHeart Radio Music Festival weekends. So these ones
are fun because they have alcohol. Yeah, dude, we're we are.
We are crazy busy tonight and tomorrow night. But it's
it's always a fun weekend, but it's like it's not
a typical weekend where it's like you're just hanging out,
just chill, chilling in downtime. It's it's a lot of fun,
but it is it is a lot of work. Of course,
(02:33):
you've been to watch the iHeart Radio Music Festival tonight
and tomorrow night on Hulu. That's where it's gonna be
streaming you cannuh. You can watch it on Hulucie. All
the bands, Offspring, Jelly Roll, I mean, all kinds of
formats are different genres of music. So Llo cool, Jay,
Ed Sheer and Maroon Five, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw, Sammy Hagar,
Tate McCrae, John Fogerty, Brian Adams.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, So anyway, I'm very excited about it, not only
seeing Brian Adams, because I've told you, like that's what
I wanted. I wanted to see Brian Adams forever, yeah, forever,
just never went. And then now it's like, not only
is it the iHeart ready of music vessel, but I'm
gonna get to meet them. So it's pretty cool. Yeah,
it's cool. There's so many Brian Adams songs. I like,
they're all Yeah. I think I think it's got the
(03:18):
greatest like power ballad of all time with Heaven. Yeah. Yeah,
it is the perfect song.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
It is amazing. A couple of my friends used that
for their wedding song.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Yeah, that was the song of the dance.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
Yeah, just way back and forth.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Hug and yeah. Yeah, I mean it's it's it, I
mean it really is. I mean, how I mean, how
do you go even starts like as it builds, you
know you have let's say, it's powerful. Yeah, I know,
I know, we gotta gotta have it. Yeah, hold on
and we do. We got it. We got it right here.
But I mean yeah, yeah, noise, yeah, I mean it
(03:56):
always it just sounds cool because like when he first
starts singing, it has all that re heard behind his voice,
that echoy kind of like yeah.
Speaker 7 (04:05):
Boom, yes, so good, a little bit of a raspy quality. Yeah,
I see like a fingerbager.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Yeah, I see great gory like driving on the coast. Yeah,
in a corvette. Drop topic that's wearing sunglasses like some aviators.
Speaker 5 (04:33):
And get.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
The big hook. It's such shy like it's the perfect power.
She needs a witness sex room six to ten back everybody. Hey, yeah,
(04:58):
and a happy Friday to you. Hey. You know what
today is, you guys, it's National Overthinker's Day. Greg go,
it's gonna flish it you and you and me to
a great degree. Absolutely, it's I know it is a
National Butterscotch pudding Day. Oh yeah, no, delicious. You love Scotch.
(05:22):
I like it, But I don't know when the last
time I had it was. It's a National tradesman Day.
It is talk like a pirate day today, ready for talking?
I got pirate Day. My friend Miles did this a
handful of years ago. I think it was for talk
like a pirate Day.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
I just want to stay in the sun where I
find fry. Know it's hired sometimes, pie, I know it's
hired some.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
It's twenty one pirates.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Get friend.
Speaker 8 (06:02):
Who wouldn't wish I was Chris. I'm calling so I
haven't taken my time on my right like the cannon
blast taking my.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Dude, we had a lot of fun with this U
when he made it for us. Sorry. It's also a
national meal like a pirate day. So how dumb is that? Yeah?
I've got the Birthday's porn of Birthday coming up here
in just a moment, menace. What's happening in the world
of entertainment? Well, and a new trailer with Paramount Plus
Ozzy Osbourne says that you know he was cool with dying,
(06:45):
like he's pretty much you know he had a great life.
Did you watch the trailer? I watched it, dude. I mean,
I don't know what is it about documentaries? They all
look good, even if you're not super interested, which I'm
interested in the aus Osbourn When here's a little clip
of the trailer, I should take pills for fun.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
It's like it was the middle of the night.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
He'd broken his neck.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
He comes out of surgery and he's far worse, having
to cancel the tour. His biggest heartbreak. Window I take
down to the studio every single day is having a
great time.
Speaker 9 (07:20):
And of course he's making music.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
He's doing what he loves to do. A blast. That
was the best.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Medicine ever.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Seeing me if my life's coming to an end, I
really can't complain at a great life.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
He had a brilliant career and it ended in a
brilliant way. This is about the most perfectly time to
release of everything.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
That sounds. That's just the audio, I mean, obviously, but
like you watch it looks really good. I want to
watch that. I want to watch that. John Candy, Oh yeah, documentary,
way for that one, dude. Uh. Also, the Anacona trailer
is out and I found it pretty funny and Jack
Black and you get the first look out of it,
It's like before it was like like really serious, but
(08:08):
this one they make it into a comedy, which is
should be a comedy. Yeah, yeah, it looks really And
how do you not like Paul Rudd's one of those
guys like Paul Rudding is even though he's a one
trick pony Jack Black, but he is one trick pony
it comes. He's always the same kind of character, right,
This essentially yeah, just so damn likable. It would be
(08:29):
in theaters on Christmas, so check it out. Also, I
don't know if you saw this, Sammy, this might be
in your realm. You're a Sabrina Carpenter fan like I am.
And did you know that she apparently has been pushing
to bring back the Muppets in some kind of special
and she got her dream to come true because she
will be starting in a special with the Muppets for
(08:49):
their fiftieth anniversary, and that's going to be available on
Disney Plus in twenty twenty six, and it's gonna be
produced by Seth Rogan, who is absolutely just taking over Hollywood.
And absolutely I love.
Speaker 10 (09:00):
The Muppets and I love when Jason Siegel did that
new Muppet movie.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
So I didn't get do it.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
I watched it for like two minutes.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
I loved the Muppets, you know, into adulthood. I always
thought they were. And then man, that Muppet that he
did the Muppet Movie was terrible, but it was so
like And then they tried to do that. Then they
tried to do the TV show. Remember they really tried
with the Muppets to get them to be a thing again.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
This will do it.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Yeah, I don't know. They took out the Muppet Ride
or Experience and Universe not the univers at the MGM
Studios or whatever they call it now, Hollywood Studios. Yeah,
it's changed names so many times. Are they?
Speaker 5 (09:38):
Also?
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Did you see this, Woody? This is something that you'd
be into now at Sharon. He is performing tomorrow night
at the iHeartRadio Festival. You can watch if you don't
happen to be in Las Vegas and have a ticket
to see it a Team Mobile arena. But he said
on BBC Radio that he actually had an opportunity to
(10:00):
play in space. Yeah. They wanted him to be the
first person to do a gig in space. Oh yeah,
and he said no because it's too dangerous.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Everyone gets less fine when they have kids. I'm sure
he would have done it otherwise.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Dude, you whiffed. No way, he did the right. No way,
that'd be so cool. For the many years I wrote
NASA a letter every year. This is even before I
was full time in radio. I knew I wanted to
do radio, and so I was just kind of like
hedging and like, Okay, I'm gonna make this radio thing happen.
And then by the time they actually take this letter
seriously or getting tired of me or whatever or give
me an opportunity, I wanted to be the person who
(10:33):
did the first radio show from space. Yeah, I'm still
open to it now. I know Tom Cruise's supposed to
be shooting that Space Man where he actually goes space.
Speaker 5 (10:42):
Yeah, then I was she wasn't going to be real
space or fake space.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
I think.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
Time to at least do a song so it couldn't
be like, well, apparently stupid Katy Perry saying it's a
wonderful world.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
We still haven't. No, that was because that's blue Origin.
That wasn't like that's not even real. That's yeah, that's
fake space. He's going to go to real space.
Speaker 5 (10:57):
Yeahs to the birthdays.
Speaker 11 (11:01):
Say he left this shimoday, We're gonna sit Shiday and
you know we don't do what birthday.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
At this rate, he's gonna be the only late night
host left. Jimmy Fallon, it's his birthday today, Last Man Standing. Yeah,
he's fifty one today. Former snl or Cherry O Terry.
He's sixty three. Actor Jeremy Irons who was Alfred in
The Justice League, Batman, Verus Superman. He was also the
voice of Scar and the Lion King. Cool voice man
seventy seven years old. Ken Kevin Ziegers from Fear of
(11:35):
the Walking Dead. He was also the kid in the
air Bud movies back in the day. Sweet Yeah, he's
forty one today. Lesbo sisters Tea, Get and Sarah, they're
forty five. Greg former host of The Biggest Loser Alison
Sweeney is forty nine. One handed MLB pitcher Jim Abbott
is fifty eight. There was a thing on him that
was really I mean he's a cool guy. Really yeah.
I mean this guy ended up going to the major
(11:56):
leagues as a pitcher. He's got one hand. Wow, Yeah,
pretty cool. He's fifty eight today. A bunch of music birthdays.
You got lead of Ford who's sixty seven. A couple
of country singers. You got Trisha Yearwood who's sixty one,
Chase Rice who is forty, and then Mother f and
Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers who was eighty five
(12:17):
years old time and then you got your porno birthday.
Who is Candace Vaughn and today's birthday?
Speaker 1 (12:23):

Speaker 2 (12:23):
She has seen more Sacks and Peyton Manning two hundred
and seventy six fine adult films including BJ Talent Search
Volume one. She was in Halloween Hoochies, also Toys in
the Hood, Ass and Moass. She was in Oops, I
Swallow Yeah, also in Your Mouth and On Your Face
Volume two, and who can forget her unforgettable, unforgettable role
(12:48):
in My Baby Cheating and I Busted Debt Bitch Volume two.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
Oh damn like d eight to dat npr TBS.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Candace Vaughan who's forty years old today, and at your
Portero birthday, your celebrity birthday. And that is a Friday morning.
Look at what's happening in the world of entertainment here
on The Woody Show. We'll take in quick break, We'll
come back more. Woodie Show is next.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Hang on, you asked for an answer, I gave you
a question.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
No Wity Show. What's up Woody Show Podcast listeners. It's menace.
I'm gonna be at Lazy Dog Restaurant in Downey, California
on September twenty fifth from four thirty to six thirty.
It's a Thursday, roll on through. I'm gonna have a
bunch of giveaways as usual, theme parks, concert tickets, what
is show merch and more. All you need to do
(13:34):
is roll on through for a chance to win. That's
Lazy Dog Restaurant, Downy, September twenty fifth from four thirty
to six thirty. Hope to see you there. In the meantime.
Keep it joined the Woody Show podcast. I'm welcome back. Hey,
it is the Woody Show. We had our math and
words quiz on the on the show this week talking
(13:58):
about the national report card and how kids are, you know,
not good, not not doing a great high school seniors
not so good with the the numbers and the words
words and math. Now a question. One of these people
were asks asks.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
They were asked part time with words.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Uh yeah, people were asked. People were questioned, what is
the most useless thing you learned at school? Those useless things?
So that's what people were asked. I will give you
some of the responses, and you can tell me if
you agree or disagree. What's the most useless thing you
learned in school? If you ignore the bullies, they'll go away. Now,
(14:37):
for the most part, I found that to be true
people who are trying to annoy you or setting out
to annoy you. Because I'm a person I'm not affected
by much, like, not much really gets under my skin.
It takes, it takes a lot, but when it does,
I find that if I just you know, same thing.
When I'm I'm not yet quote triggered, people get like
(14:59):
pissed at first because I'm not reacting the way they
expect me to or want me to, and therefore they
give up. And then even if I am like annoyed
by something and I intentionally ignore it, they're not getting
the reaction they want, so they quit. Much like flashers.
They say that it's about the reaction. If you don't
give them the satisfaction of your reaction, you're shocked or
(15:19):
disgusted reaction, they're no longer horny. It doesn't Yeah, well no,
because they don't get what they want out of it,
and they move on. So I would say that once
come true, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:27):
But I don't know.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
I mean, some people are just.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Born to be a whole well card arcs, like, if
people just didn't react to anything, it would be over.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
There'd be no videos. Yeah, yeah, and there'll be no
more cardin arks.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
I mean, but when you talk about physical bullying, I think,
you know, you might need to step up for yourself
if you don't have anybody else around to help you.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
I say just in general, though, by because there's there's
gonna be more than one out I think for the
majority of them. Yes, if they're not getting that reaction,
even my kids, Like if my kids are, you know,
mess with each other when the other one doesn't react,
it ends pretty quickly. It's when they fire each other up.
Yeah all right, So question, what's the most useless thing
you learned at school? That being an excellent student will
(16:11):
get you a high paying job. Yeah, that is non truth.
Speaker 12 (16:15):
That along the lines of you can be anything you
want to be. Oh, no, you can't know, you can't know,
like Chris Rocks, do anything you want to do? No, yea,
Like Chris Cann said, you can be anything you're good
at if they're hiring.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
True.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, and you know that does that does seem like
an old timey thing, like the idea that you know, oh,
you go to college, you're going to end up with
a good paying job. That's not necessarily the case, and
it's becoming less and less of that every day that
goes by. Yeah, you go into college with a lot
of delusion. Yeah, but a lot of debts figure job right,
And a lot of people they put so much like
(16:53):
stock in the fact that they went to college or
they went to a particular college, and all of a
sudden that makes them a better person in some way,
shape or form. I don't know, I've said it before,
like I'm not impressed. Yeah, it doesn't impress me, Like
I got cool? What have you done? Yeah? You know,
like I'm a person I barely graduated high school because
I was more interested in having a good time and
(17:13):
didn't really apply myself. As we've a you know what
I turned out, Okay, I got got a pretty decent life. Yeah,
it's not terrible. Yeah, because I was able to do
other things I had nothing to do with, you know, geometry, right,
needing a college education. See, what's the most useless thing
you learned in school? Keep your head down, work hard,
and you'll succeed in life. I think that's overall still true.
Speaker 4 (17:35):
Yeah, what's the problem with that?
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Yeah, that's not a dumb thing. It's not it's not
fail safe. Like if you're not in the right place,
like sometimes you're at the wrong place. You can work
really hard, you can keep your head down and you
know wherever you're at it's just a dead end like
a job or a relationship or whatever.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Your odds go way up when you mind your business
and work hard.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
But if that's your mindset, because typically you'll figure something
out and then you'll also be open to when the
opportunities do come around. Just because you've worked at one
place for a million years doesn't mean you're gonna end
up running the place. Like it matters what you do
when you're there, and your idea of working hard might
not be the same idea that the company has or
they don't. Necessarily, aren't putting yourself in a position to
(18:18):
be noticed, Like sometimes you got toot your own horn.
You got to make the people aware. This is where
the networking part comes in. But too many people just
like because you showed up on time every day and
he did the work that was assigned to you feel like, oh, well,
the promotion trains come at any time.
Speaker 5 (18:32):
It's bare minimum baseline.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
But I think, yes, if you keep your head down,
you gotta work ethic, you work hard, you will end
up succeeding now to the degree that you whatever success
means to you, you know, greg, to be a stay
at home care for a man living in the house
with seventeen bathrooms probably not going to happen. No, But
to be successful and to have a comfortable life. Yet,
all right, what's the most useless thing you learned at school?
(18:56):
Cursive writing? True?
Speaker 12 (18:58):
Yeah, there, It used to be so good at that worthless.
I don't think I could do it today.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Now you have to have a signature, Yeah, you have
to at least do your own name.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
Like when my son started working, I'm like, hey, you
have to sign this. I don't even know what to do.
I was like, well your name, I said, He starts
to he starts outing no, no, no, you got it, kindergarten.
I said, let's work on his signature, you know, and
like he had to like figure something out, which which
he did. But but even still, the kids at his
school they learn, they learn cursive.
Speaker 8 (19:26):
You know what.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
I just realized, which is a total lost art vestage
of the past. Nobody practices their signature anymore because nobody's
practicing like it, like make believe, like giving their autograph
because there's no autograph books.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
No, my autograph would totally I would like to master
my signature on digital like uh, like electronic pencil. Yeah,
you're ready to do it with your your fingers. How
to dissect a frog? Hate? How to balance a check book,
which I still feel is important because the banks do
(19:59):
make mistakes.
Speaker 12 (20:00):
Greg, And I don't know why it would take anybody
more than a minute and a half to learn how
to do that, or not even a minute and a
half seconds.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
It's not that it takes a long time. It's just
that it takes consistency. Just like you got to remember,
you got to remember to keep your receipt because if
you don't keep the receipt, you don't have anything compared
to when you see the transaction come through on your
banks on the banks website. Yeah yeah, not that I
used to Like, don't even need the carbon anymore because
like when you write a check, you just take a
(20:29):
picture of it. Oh yeah, you from the register. Yeah,
all right, what's the most useless thing you learned at
school that the three branches of government keep each other
in check. That doesn't really happen. Okay, uh, memorizing the
entire periodic table useless.
Speaker 13 (20:49):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
I couldn't tell you one thing on that thing. I
don't remember what. This next one is the pythagora in theory.
Speaker 5 (20:53):
Oh yeah, yeah, squared sure, and then it's really gotten
me far.
Speaker 14 (21:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
The mic candria is.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
The powerhouse of the cell mitochondria.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Mitochondria, canon pronounce it, and yet somehow again, so I'll
agree on those last two.
Speaker 12 (21:13):
My gut instinct was to say, pie three point one four, Yeah, cool,
what's the rest?
Speaker 2 (21:17):
I don't know what that means? Pie equals three point one?
Speaker 5 (21:20):
Yeah, I remember that equals square?
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Yeah yeah, all right, sure, I don't know any want
to add anything to the list useless pie from from school?
Pe Pe, Yeah, yeah, you got. Yeah, it's up on
the text over to two to nine seven. We stow
that out there. Is it too good? It's pretty good?
I hope. I'm thinking maybe it's not good. The Woody Show,
(21:48):
all right, welcome back everybody. Yeah, it is Friday morning.
Oh oh no, it is The wood Show I'm gonna
be doing a lot of party on this weekend. I
Heart Radio Music Festival tonight and tomorrow night, and you
can watch it on Hulu. Will be streaming live tonight
and tomorrow night if you want to check it out. Yeah,
lifted party hard. Speaking of how do there's a couple
(22:10):
couple party stories. There is this one story about this
woman who she got busted and the woman arrested back
in twenty twenty three dui cops took her in, she
took a mug shot, tilted her head, tongue sticking out right.
Fast forward two years later. Here we are now twenty
twenty five, and guess what, same woman arrested for another DUI.
(22:33):
She was at a stoplight when the light turned green.
The cops noticed that she just was not moving, okay,
just sitting still. Cops to the lights on, pulled her
over to find out that she was just you know, random,
rambling about different stuff, admitted to having some weeds. She
took a breath of lizer, surprise, surprise, drunk as well,
cross faded. Oh so she was arrested, and of course
(22:55):
she recreated the mug shot, this time tilted her head
the other direction. Tungus still sticking out. How do they
allow that? I mean, I guess you can do.
Speaker 5 (23:03):
Wouldn't they just say, like, hey, put neutral face, like
duct tape, your jaw closed.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
I know, like you go get like a passport photo,
like you can't even smile, and you have to show
your ear, like you can't have your hair over your ear.
Oh is that right?
Speaker 14 (23:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (23:20):
So strict. Yeah, I know you have to take like
a hat off. You can't have a hat on. You
can't have glasses on. Oh I didn't know that. Yeah,
it was an nightmare. Yeah. Have you have you ever
seen menace with those glasses on? No? You haven't. No,
I close your eyes out, I close your eyes. Now,
turn your head to the to the left, left. Okay,
(23:41):
now you're looking right out. Ready one their left, that matters.
You got to open your eyes one two three, open your.
Speaker 10 (23:46):
Eyes take them off again, because it's just like it's
like there's something missing, because it's.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Like a different person. Have you seen them of those glasses?
Speaker 13 (23:57):
No?
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Not right face face menas first? All right? Ready? One
two three? Okay, whoa wow? Different there's some people that
look pretty similar. I don't think there's a big departure
between Greg with glasses without class What about you without
your glasses When you rub your eyes, you look kind.
Speaker 5 (24:18):
Of weird Without them too, you look way different.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
It's weird. Let me keep them off that. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
What I'd love to do, Like if we have our
own events and I'm trying to leave right away, I
will take off my glass. Oh yeah, like like a
celebrity will throw on like a baseball or whatever, the
wind breaker.
Speaker 14 (24:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Yeah, well look at Clark Kent. He fooled the world. Yeah,
I got some wead news here. According to a new
study from the University of Florida, cannabis used increasing with
pregnant women. I found that one in six pregnant women
report using weed or CBD, even with the massive risks
during pregnancy, just either they don't care or they're unaware
(25:08):
of the dangers. Unaware the women well, because there are
some people that will say, like, Okay, well, I understand
you shouldn't drink during pregnancy. I know people feel very
differently about drinking and driving than they do smoking and driving. Yeah,
a lot better. We've talked about that, people that like,
you know, the women are using it to help with
the pregnancy symptoms nausea, stress, anxiety, pain, sleep, bussiness. Uh,
(25:33):
they're warning that THHC can cross the placenta to like
lower fetal weight, head size, prematurity, increased nick use days,
possible long term you know, some neurodevelopmental or psychological issues.
So the medical authorities they're just advising against. Can you
wait till you're not pregnant?
Speaker 5 (25:54):
Think about all the.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
TV or not even TV shows the history of like
pregnant women with a you know, martini and a and like.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
Make sure my mom smoked when she was pregnant.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
Yeah, I know more than one that did your mom?
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Oh yeah, dude, your parents cannot be stopped from drinking.
Speaker 12 (26:14):
And she also told me this and I obviously can't
speak to it. She hates on TV and movies when
women are pregnant and they get up or sit down
and they're like, she said, it's not like that. She's like,
when you gain weight in your belly, do you have
you just operate normally. She can't stand it, and they
go to sit down and they're like all dramatic. She's
(26:36):
pregnancy is not like that.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Well to a certain degree, but I know that you
do get up differently when you're fat compared to win,
because like typically, uh, if you're not fat, you can
just use your leg power to stand up, right, and
now when you're fat, you have to kind of push
yourself try to get up off the floor, sit on
the floor if you're fat, and try to get up
without using your hands and do it or trying to
(27:01):
do it like without kind of like half rolling to
your side, putting your hands on the floor, and then
it's a whole thing getting out chair. You kind of
use a rocking motion too for momentum. Yeah up, yeah,
inertia yea.
Speaker 12 (27:15):
So maybe maybe that's what it's amazing that Sammy was
telling me recently that that's a test about your general
health or how long you're gonna live if you can
without using your get.
Speaker 10 (27:24):
Up without your hands up from sitting on the floor,
like yeah, and then how quickly you can stand up
without using your hands, she says, like how sort of
healthy you are, yeah, and.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
That you could be closer than dying.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
If it tooks, you're screwed.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
And one more partying hard story. The CEO of IMAX,
This guy, Richard Gelfond. He's facing a lawsuit from his
ex wife who claims that his excessive partying and drug
use have made him unsurable. Oh it's too cool, he's
too fun. She says that multiple insurance companies have rejected
policies on him due to his reported cocaine use and
heavy drinking. According to their divorce agreement, the ex wife
(28:02):
was due to get this chunk of retirement money when
he retires, but he doesn't plan to. As an agreement
between the two, the ex wife could take out a
life insurance policy on him so should he pass away.
But because of this hardcore lifestyle, the drink in the cocaine,
no insurance company will cover him. She is requested the
court to compel him to establish a four point five
(28:24):
million dollar trust in her name. But it's gonna be
a fight because his attorneys they are denying the allegations,
claiming that they're all baseless. Now here's the thing, Like,
she gets this money only if he retires. That's when
i'd be working until I dropped that company. Consultants like
(28:45):
do something. We're technically not retired. Absolutely, Well, wasn't there
There was a god? He's an NBA coach. I forget
his name. You can text over on the text two
two nights have make you remember his name. He got
a divorce, and then like two days later that's when
the team announced his new deal. And it was like
this huge contract that she's entitled to none of like
(29:06):
not a penny of it. It was great. I had
another friend of mine who did that too. His ex
wife was being a real pain in the ass. And
by the way, she was the one that cheated on him,
and so they got a divorce and then he was
initially like going to be like on the hook for alimony.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
You get that cheater.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
But before he filed for divorce, he did this whole
maneuvering where he agreed to a new deal with his employers.
They basically paid him minimal I'm talking like fifteen thousand
dollars salary for the year and the rest of it
was going to be in bonuses. Hell yeah, because his attorneys,
you know, advised him saying that she would only be
(29:46):
entitled to a certain percentage of his base salary, not
any kind of bonus compensation. And she got like nothing.
She fought it and she still lost. What happened in
a different way because oj, they can only go after
oh yeah, certain things, Oh yeah, not his pension. Yeah,
n his pension. Yeah, certain things and so and so.
(30:07):
The way this ended up working out is he goes,
oh man, he goes, that's a shame. Uh So here,
I'll tell you what I'll do. How About I just
write you a check for you know, whatever I'm gonna
owe you over the next after number because they said
it for the number of whenever there was ten years.
How About I just give you like the amount ten
years up front and then we never have to bak again.
She's like whatever, So she paid him once and then
after that renegotiated a deal because bonus compensation is taxed
(30:31):
differently than salary comp and then everything was cool. I
love this, It was great. My buddy Terry. Shout out
to Terry.
Speaker 10 (30:38):
The NBA coach you're talking about is the coach of
the Heat.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Yes, Miami Heat. Yeah, I love it, love it all right?
Eight seven seven four. Woodie sent us a text over
to two to nine eighty seven. It is the Woody Show.
We'll be right back more next Maybe they'll hurt each
other in the hallway running for the bathroom. Maybe the
Woody Show made it and just in time. The Woody
Show is back well as promise we have something for
(31:05):
you that we We get requests for quite a bit. Now,
this is something that Greg I think was making an
argument for a while he you know, was trying to
avoid it or not. No, but we love it. We
love it all right. So we always ask you to like,
you know, call in, text in, call in eight seven,
seven forty four. What a you can do us a
text over to two two ninety seven, and boy do
(31:26):
we get your text We get a lot of them
throughout the morning. And everybody's job, besides being awesome on
the radios, to you know, keep an eye on the
text and reply back to the ones that you know,
ask for it, require some type of response as best
we can, because it's just based on the volume.
Speaker 12 (31:39):
There's a lot most of I would say, most of
the time we respond yeah we tried, We tried, but
there are a lot to come through now every once
in a while, and Greg's been doing this for years
where it catches his attention.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
It's just somebody being you know, cushy, yeah, douchey, and
Greg has off the air been sending back and immature
like super over the time. Because Greg is such a
refined person he's such a classy man. Yeah, but it's
it's the most you know, class list response, he says.
And he gets a lot of entertainment out of it too.
(32:09):
And so these are real text messages that were sent
in to and Greg is going to reply to them,
but he's going to get our help here in deciding
which one to reply back with. Greg Gory's immature.
Speaker 12 (32:22):
Applies to text messages, and today we're going to respond
to two separate texts. But each text has three options. Oh,
stet to so many choices. This is like a bonus edition,
so many choices.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Okay. And the targets today are Gina, oh no, and
me okay.
Speaker 5 (32:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (32:40):
The first one is for Gina from the nine to
two to five that texted something I think is so stupid? Okay,
does annoying Gina have to put her two cents on
everything that's being talked about on the show. I have
to turn the volume down every time she speaks, so
I miss seventy percent of the show.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
Gina, Yeah, you're right, I should be I should be silent.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Or right when you're on the radio.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
You should really do you have an opinion?
Speaker 4 (33:03):
And I'll just shake my head.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Yeah, you know, it'd have been a lot better if
we just had somebody who never participated. I know, that's
so much better. Like it, that's what you want in
a co host on a show. You just want somebody
who sits there silently. I did work with a dude
one who would nod to me. You had a good
week for the radio. Yeah, that's that's pretty good. That
(33:24):
was good. But yeah, but f Gina for on things
by the way, just for anybody else, he goes, you
know what, I've been thinking the same thing. And it's
been said about all of us, like does what you
have to have an opinion on everything? It's literally our job.
That is literally what the job is so good is
to have an opinion about everything. And that's.
Speaker 12 (33:44):
One of the where the replies here, Okay, well, how
about well we we turned the volume up when your
mom takes a jackcammering to her stench trench. Or option
two of three, F Gina for doing her job. Well,
(34:05):
then f the Bunny ranch for working your mom's queef
chasm right because you're yeah, I got it, okay, all right?
Or option three you missed seventy percent of the show
and sadly your mom missed one percent of the pill.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
Alright, as much as I love stench Trench, I like
three the best. Really yeah, so good? Yeah, I mean
not not okay, maybe here's the thing. Maybe not as
immature because it's more minty clever like, but it is immature.
Replies Yeah, true, I'm gonna I could be swayed kind
(34:45):
of like that. I could be swayed menace. I say
three three about Yeah, it's.
Speaker 5 (34:50):
Super clever, but like you said, the most immature, stench
Trench's pretty good.
Speaker 12 (34:55):
Chasm throwing a queaf for Woodie because you love that one.
I don't know why Queen is so funny, the working
Queen Loquen.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
It's so funny.
Speaker 4 (35:03):
I was already laughing at then f the Bunny Ranch
because I just want to know where it was going.
But I still think number one is killer trench.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
You asked three three, I guess it's three.
Speaker 5 (35:13):
That's so good.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
And I like reminding them of what they say you
miss yeah, yeah, yeah, of the show, and.
Speaker 5 (35:24):
You are a treasure miss.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Kill. I even had to google what's the effectiveness of
birth control pill? Something today? And all right six, all right, yeah,
there we go. Day one day R and one more
to go in this round of Greg Gory's immature replies
to text messages, and it's from the four one two
(35:50):
that says, look, I'm a woman and I like gay dudes.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
But is it me?
Speaker 2 (35:54):
Or does Greg make lots of gay references? Lately? We
get it? You love the d Oh, we get it.
Speaker 4 (36:01):
One time I mentioned that, you know, I we celebrate
passover and I was like, okay, we get it.
Speaker 5 (36:06):
You people get very.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
Sensitive when you tell them about yourself.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
God for it.
Speaker 5 (36:10):
As a Steeler fan, I mentioned the Steelers big.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Fan of the gay stuff is fun.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
Yeah, we bring it up. Weaners of hilarious menis is
always yeah.
Speaker 12 (36:22):
So I'm glad, and I'm glad you told me she's
a woman because sometimes it won't fit you. So now
being armed with that information, most things fit this woman, right,
That is well Option number one of three, Well, unlike you,
when I love the D, people leave smiling, good, good,
all right?
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (36:42):
Maybe not Option two. You lash out because the only
time you get moist down there is when you laugh
too hard, very good, peace, blown out right, that's blown
out and she's probably old.
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Or Option three.
Speaker 12 (36:58):
At least I can get the D couldn't get one
if your coffin had a gloryhole.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Every three? Really, are you kidding? If your coffin had
a glory whole thing i've ever heard? I mean, I
appreciate that something tells me that exists. That is so good.
Oh God, you must be able to buy one somewhere.
Glory whole, gloryhole coffin. Yeah, this is this is how
(37:27):
he'd want to go. You know, glory hole so creepy.
You couldn't get a d if your coffin had a glory.
Speaker 5 (37:40):
There's a song called Coffin Glory Whole from the death
metal band called Mame. Hell Yeah album Ornaments of Severity.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
It's really good. It's been sent all.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
That was amazing.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
There was some stuff I wanted to word differently. But
what's it called glory otle? Coffin glory whole? Coffin?
Speaker 4 (38:07):
Can we dominate you for like a Mark Twain Award?
Speaker 13 (38:11):
Right?
Speaker 2 (38:11):
Well, they're okay, there's actually something. The first thing that
pulls up is a Coffin Glory Whole porn video on
porn Hub. I don't think that's what that is. Uh,
well it's on porn hub.
Speaker 5 (38:23):
Well, yeah, I'm looking at it. I don't see the Coffins.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Let's see Macy Gray first Glory Whole visit Nope, Nope, nope.
May Myers gets cream pied. No, look this is Google.
Look Google, I haven't typed name with a gloryhole. Coffin
with a gloryhole a new music discovery. This one is misleading.
Speaker 12 (38:48):
It says the lyrics to Coffin Glory Whole. Okay, it's
not coming up here. We go, Mame Coffin.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
Let's see, we're still says exactly what you're thinking. Would
we're still looking for the good death metal?
Speaker 5 (39:08):
Yes, I'll not think of another death Medal concert. I
still don't have a good question.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
He's a manager of the best Buy. Is a song
not have more comments? I mean Coffin Glory Whole? Thank
you Metal, because you can't tell what the hell you say?
There's a there's Greg's invatory applies to text messages. Thank
you very much. Thank you guys. Send your text messages
over to us. Hit us up on the text over
to two to nine eight seven is back, look back
(39:43):
Friday Morning, Ribbage the bitch Drabbidge, so much checking image
Friday check in over to too ninety seven Tell who
you are, and then we're around town. You're listening to
the Wood Show this morning. Weekend plans. Our weekend plan
to the iHeart Radio Music Festival, which you can watch
tonight and tomorrow night on Hulu seven thirty pm. I'll
(40:04):
be on there doing interviews with offspring, Brian Adams, Sammy Hagar.
Sammy Hagar is cool. Yeah, he's really cool. He's like
I've met him a few times. I've never interviewed him,
but I've been like hanging around. He used to do
a bunch of stuff with one of the radio stations
when I worked in Saint Louis. Huh, Like he loves
Saint Louis man, he loves his radios and he was
he'd be around. He was almost like the house band. Yeah,
(40:27):
he was always around. Does he lived full time in Cabo?
I don't think so, because I know he has I
wonder he's got the Caboo rule. Yeah. Anyway, uh so, yeah,
watch that tonight iHeartRadio Music Festival on Hulu.
Speaker 14 (40:43):
So we have.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
Taco Bell with the item that's back in medicine. Has
been very excited about this. Yes, he's been going a lot.
This is his new obsession. We told you how he
gets on these kicks. But this is what obsession that
I've always been obsessed with, and then they take gets
away from me, but then they bring it, and then
they bring it. But now I'm in a great gory
(41:08):
situation because daily I'm leaving the radio station and I'm
going directly to Taco Bell and getting the chili cheese
breed out. It's back on the new throwback. It is
so good. It's yeah, it's like Jesus made it in
his spare time and now it's back and I love
it and it tastes so good. But the workers now
(41:31):
they recognize me here. It comes fatty chili cheese brito
and hot Blast zero because you know, want to you know,
stay healthy calories. And they know him immediately by his
voice to the drive through. It's not even like he's
showing his face at first, like yeah, I'll have the
one one touch pan pancake. I mean, there's numerous Taco
(41:55):
bells around, but this one's the closest. But do I
change it up? Because they recognized me around, but they're
so friendly at this location. I like, I actually want
I want to write a letter and say, like how
friendly these were nice. Yeah, that is that is a
Greg problem. That is not a you problem. Greg's the
only person I know who would care about something like that, like,
(42:15):
you know, Greg's going to the grocery store and being
recognized for being there, like dude, they would, I would
think that they would. Maybe the workers don't, but the
manager would probably appreciate, like, oh, this is one of
our regular customers.
Speaker 5 (42:25):
They'd embrace you.
Speaker 12 (42:26):
It'd be looked upon as a good thing. I agree,
because it's just this taco bell item. The reason I
also obsessed about the grocery store going too much. I
often buy a box of wine and I don't want
them to put two and two together and go like, wait,
didn't he just buy one of these.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
Two days ago? So why don't you?
Speaker 5 (42:44):
Why don't you do something where you buy like a
few of them at a time and then you.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
Can go less.
Speaker 12 (42:50):
I'm having a partner saying, at least you can go
less frequently for the one. So maybe you're there for
more for avocado, also more cotton balls to eat that
will fill you up.
Speaker 9 (42:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
Talks the managers say, hey, no, can I get a
little bit of a deal if I buy this in bulk? Yeah, Negotia.
What are the other retro items at the to talk
about their Oh, they have the double decker taco is back,
and they should have never taken that way. They always
had the items.
Speaker 5 (43:13):
They have my favorite item, the seven layer burrito yesterday.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Yeah, but I kind of just do like a combo
of the chili cheese brito and a bean and cheese
burrito so I can kind of, you know, keep eving
it out. Yeah, carbs and calories, definitely consider it. And
then the Baja Blast cereal dude.
Speaker 9 (43:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (43:30):
And they have the apple caramel and banada, which.
Speaker 5 (43:32):
I got yesterday.
Speaker 2 (43:33):
Okay, and they have these are you.
Speaker 5 (43:34):
Going to Yeah, well, because my husband.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
Is my husband's favorite thing in the world are the
chili cheese burritos. I got him six of them. He's
eating one, which the Tony Horton thing. Don't get me started.
But like when we're in Minnesota, they sell them there
so we can get them all the time. But we
got that, We got the ampanadas, we got the seven
layer of burrito, and the cool Ranch Lost tacos whatever,
it's like a cool ranch taco.
Speaker 12 (43:55):
Sure Minnesota. Considering writing a letter about how nice they
are is so nice of you.
Speaker 2 (44:01):
Yeah, do I want to make sure to like, just
make sure that the nacho spell checks it before you say.
Speaker 14 (44:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
I just want to make sure, like people of importance
within Taco Bell like actually see it. Yeah, yeah, it
doesn't get disregarded. We know people, Yeah, we do, we
know people. Some other food news food news, Wendy's is
switching things up, but their burgers, you guys, Wow, the
patties are still gonna be squared. They're still gonna be
the same thing. It's the lettuce that is changing. Oh no,
(44:28):
So say goodbye to the whole leafed lettuce on your
burger that we've gotten for years, and say hello to
the shredded lettuce that all the other fast food places
give you. They say the change, they lie right to
our face. They say it's to improve the lettuce consistency.
But the real reason shredded lets comes in a big
ass bagh. It's easier for them on the prep time,
(44:52):
and most importantly, it's cheaper to use.
Speaker 12 (44:55):
So yeah, I never gave it a second thought. I
think shredded lettuce makes more sense on a than elite.
Speaker 5 (45:01):
It falls apart.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
I liked bottom, I liked how they had it I
thought it was so good. Yeah, the other one who's
exit to? I don't know, Salady. Yeah, sured it is
easy right now, I'm starving forty four Woodie, hit us
up with your Friday check in the text over to
two two nine eight seven The Woody showday, pretty pretty good.
Speaker 13 (45:25):
I got to talk.
Speaker 9 (45:26):
I gotta tell what up to?
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Yeah, man, yep, it is another new hour in sensitivity
training for a politically correct world. It is Friday morning, Yeah,
Friday morning. It is September nineteenth, twenty twenty five. That's great, gory.
We got minutes. We got Gina Grady SeaBASS is here.
(45:52):
We've got Sammy Morgan is here. We got von our
video producer. We got bored, we got Menji Holme things
down the Woody Show production apartment. Yeah. I was thinking
about it, man, Like, who here is not in? Vaughn's
not in a relationship? Because now that now that Sammy's
got his boyfriend, you like, who who else can we
get married off? Vaughan Menji?
Speaker 15 (46:15):
I think?
Speaker 2 (46:16):
Yeah? Is is Menji into the idea of a of
a relationship? I know he just got out of one,
not that long ago?
Speaker 16 (46:23):
Is he is?
Speaker 8 (46:24):
He?
Speaker 2 (46:25):
Is he open? To Uh, so like a relationship possibility?
I think so. Yeah, he's spending most of his fridays
out searching for the world's best pizza apparently, Yeah, I
think so. Right, there are you d t F Yeah,
I know Men's coming around to the to the microphone. Yeah,
because we got we got Morgan married off. Yeah, pretty much, Menji,
(46:45):
what do you think you know what, I'll be open
to it. Yeah, dumb ass Tyler's even got like some
chick he's hanging out with him.
Speaker 14 (46:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:53):
Look, if there's dumb ass Tyler hooking up with some chick,
for everybody there's yeah, yeah, there's a Yeah. Where are
you looking?
Speaker 13 (47:02):
Are you?
Speaker 2 (47:03):
Have you been looking for a relationship or just kind
of waiting to see what kind of develops? You know what,
I'm just living life right now. Living How long? How
long has it been since you, uh you moved on
from that last relationship? Oh gosh, when was it? I
want to say three months ago? Was it that long?
Already you're you're ready to get back out there. You're
ripe and right. Yeah, that's what I'm open to it.
You know, I'm not I'm not like actively going I guess.
Speaker 12 (47:24):
No, that's saying you never find it way you're looking exactly,
you're doing the right thing. Oh yeah, there you go,
And then I find it when you're looking to if
I don't know, and you were ready to go because
it set you up with Sammy, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (47:35):
Can you imagine Sammy and Menji? Why do you laugh
like that? That's really mean date someone I worked with,
not you're in different But if it's like true love. Yeah,
what if it was like a true love I'll never
know professional what if that actually what's his name? What if?
Speaker 1 (47:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (47:54):
I would quit my job to date.
Speaker 2 (47:56):
Glen Powell job, leave the current for Glenn Powell. Yes,
that's what we're talking like. She's not very like, you know, warm,
and yeah, I believe that she would. I think I
don't even think she's being funny. I think she totally would.
I think there's a lot of ladies that would be
that way. So, yeah, weekend plans. I mean, obviously we
(48:20):
got the the iHeart Radio Music Festival, but yeah, my
wife's going to uh the Wizard of Oz. Yeah, the
Spirit Yeah. So they're doing the Wizard of Oz at
the Sphere.
Speaker 5 (48:31):
It's like four D.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
It's awesome. It's she's been cool agonizing over all all
week over what to wear. That's a rough to a
dark movie because she's got all this like Wizard of
Oz crap. That true. She's got like these different shirts
and she must be so stressed, right, that's the good Witch.
Gina and Sammy, you guys can help herrow with that
(48:55):
because she's going with another girlfriend of hers. They're gonna
go do that tomorrow. They're gonna go. They're gonna see that. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (49:02):
I asked her about it and she was like, well,
I yeah, I just was gonna do it because you
guys are working, and I'm like, I don't know. If
I'm working, then I want to go.
Speaker 5 (49:09):
I want to go too.
Speaker 2 (49:10):
It's because it's during the day. I think eleven am
on Ye.
Speaker 4 (49:16):
Yeah, I think we need four wheel.
Speaker 2 (49:18):
It's super early, okay, Yeah, I mean it looks cool,
don't I don't hate the Wizard of It. I'm not
as crazy about as my wife is. Obviously.
Speaker 5 (49:25):
It's like when the.
Speaker 4 (49:26):
Tree throws apples, like apples come flying at you.
Speaker 2 (49:29):
The Wizard of Oz cool. I think the Wicked stuff
is stupid. Wicked is so dumb. I mean, it's they're
both musicals right, so that Yes, I'm not a big
musical fan. But the Wizard of Oz that's good. I
think maybe it's a classic, but like the like Wicked, No,
thank you. I would love to see this stuff. Guys,
How have I not brought this up yet? Dude? I
just found out this is happening next month October. Yeah,
(49:54):
they are re releasing Back to the Future in IMAX.
Back to the Future for the first time ever. I
am serious. I'm totally serious. I want to I want
to say. It's like right around Halloween.
Speaker 9 (50:08):
Movie.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
How a wrecked are you?
Speaker 16 (50:09):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (50:10):
Dude, I'm mega rotted up. Sure, I'm yeah. It's in
Imax for a limited.
Speaker 5 (50:16):
To anniversary for the fortieth that's right.
Speaker 2 (50:19):
Oh, yes, what's the date on it?
Speaker 4 (50:23):
October thirty first.
Speaker 2 (50:24):
Okay, there you go. There is all right, we gotta
get to So they just released the poster poster for
the IMAX released Back to Feature fortieth anniversary. Yeah. It
looks uh, it looks really really cool.
Speaker 4 (50:33):
I'm so glad you said that.
Speaker 2 (50:34):
Yeah, I'm I'm definitely gonna go see that now. It's
been forever since I've been to the movie here now
as long as greg But true it's still been a
long time. Hey, I did go see Wicked though, Yeah
against you?
Speaker 13 (50:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (50:46):
All right, uh friddy, okie, let's let's do it all right,
all right, I will I will just draw out those
times since it's right here, and we just talked longer
than I expected. Uh huh. Let's see. Oh this is
this is menaces, all right. So we asked everybody to
make a suggestion. I think this is the one that
(51:07):
is like probably most off the reservation of all the
stuff that that we've had so far. Tom Jones, it's
not unusual for whatever reason, Like I don't know, men
love singing this one. So dog, this is all you.
I'm not good at this and I don't like karaoke,
But so you guys are gonna have to really help
me out, don't know, because you're the lead singer, the
lead I know, but just don't get frustrated when my
(51:29):
timing is off. I'm gonna have to like go in
and out. This is this is your song. I understand
you're you're the one that's like all familiar with this one. Yeah,
Jones starts playing Jones. It's not unusual. Oh are you ready?
Minus All right, here we go three two. One's love
(51:54):
by anyone. It's not unusual to have fun with that anyone. Well,
when I see you hanging out with anyone, it's not unusual.
Won't to see me cry?
Speaker 9 (52:12):
I want to die?
Speaker 5 (52:14):
There you go.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
It's not unusually want to go out any time? When
I see you out and about, it's such a crime
if you should ever want to be loved by anyone.
Speaker 5 (52:30):
It's not unusual.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
Happening every day. No matter what they say, you find
it happen all the time. Instood, what do you want
to I'm just crazy.
Speaker 5 (52:57):
It is not you will.
Speaker 11 (53:00):
Brain.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Yeah, this is your your chance to catch your breath down.
But you do look out because this is actually a
very short sign. Here we got out. They're not unusual
to be made, is not unusual be sad with anyone.
But did you ever five years time? It's not love?
(53:35):
Dogs are howling original It was nice just Tom that
Tom Jones And it wasn't uh, it was just a
virus birthday. I want to say, like on when I
think the Mistress of the Dark. Yeah, and wasn't that
like the whole rumor that she lost her virginity to
(53:56):
Tom Jones and he like split her open. She needed
like ditches and stuff because he's known, he's a legend.
He's a legend in the penis world. He's apparently got
like a huge member. What a great rumor about you? Yeah, like,
oh my god, you had to get stitching?
Speaker 4 (54:13):
Yeah legal kickstand you guys.
Speaker 2 (54:16):
I feel bad for everybody. Can we just play the original? Huh?
Speaker 4 (54:19):
We're good.
Speaker 5 (54:20):
We heard that was better than the Can you do
your old tiny voice?
Speaker 2 (54:26):
We'll take a break, we'll come back. How about some
of the Friday fail stories? It's the wood Show? All right,
well it's it's Friday morning. Rejoice. Also check in Friday
check ins on the text over to two to ninety
seven tells who you are, and then what part of
town you listen to The Woody Show. Weekend plans. I
(54:47):
can tell you what our weekend plans are. We're going
to be at the iHeart Radio Music Festival tonight and
tomorrow night. Now, if you're not going to be there
live in person with this, you can watch you can
just tream it only on Hulu. That is tonight and
tomorrow night. I'm doing an interview with offspring Sammy Hagar,
(55:09):
and I'll be interviewing Mother f and Brian Adams. Gina's
gonna be tracking down Ed Sheeran. He really wants to
meet him. It'd be cool to see the jelly roll
and yeah, and if you want to follow us on
social media, Medicine captured a bunch of our backstage stuff,
like you know, all this stuff is happening. And then
around the festival, I know hopefully we'll see Ryan Seacrest.
(55:30):
Oh yeah, but you always crested. Yeah, I know hopefully
about it. Yeah no, I always had to be around
every year at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. I have like
a little sit down with Ryan.
Speaker 5 (55:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:40):
Yeah, it's like our one time each year that we
actually see each other hang out, Uh, just catch up
for a couple of minutes. He's a super nice guy.
You can make jokes and stuff about Ryan Seacrest all
day and day. He's got a billion jobs and everything else.
Never had a bad interaction ever, Nope, He's always super cool,
super nice, works really works really hard.
Speaker 5 (55:59):
So success.
Speaker 4 (56:00):
Well, it's a lot of jobs.
Speaker 2 (56:01):
Yeah. No, he's a good dude, man, good dude. All right.
Time now for your Friday fail stories. All right, ladies
(56:51):
and gentlemen, boys and girls, it is time for your
Friday fail stories. Yeah, other people thought they had to
put a plan, the plan that can never go wrong,
and then somewhere along the line, I went from being
a great idea to one big stink in mega uber ultraum.
(57:22):
I kind of feel we ran we ran out a
little steam there toward the ends, so we kind of
pushed a little bit.
Speaker 5 (57:27):
What it was.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
I kind of blamed Gina for that, because I don't
you normally pushed me no breath.
Speaker 4 (57:32):
You're right, But but while I was singing, I felt like, wow,
I have lots of breath. Yeah, Like I didn't even
have to jump back.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
We'll start with this one in Florida. Fifty five year
old woman. She was going through some heartbreak, guys, because
her ex cheated on her, and she decided that she
was going to get some revenge. Okay, she decided that
she was going to find his truck, give it a
bit of a personal redesigned it with a crowbar. So
(58:01):
she found the truck and meant she smashed all up,
wracked up thousands of dollars in damages, and then she
went on her way. Just one problem here, that truck
wasn't the ex's truck. Oh no, the real owner called
the cops. They tracked her down and they arrested her. Now, she,
it turns out, was already on probation. So she's got
three prior arrests, all right, and so destroying this truck
(58:25):
violated her previous probation. So now now she's really screwed
and she's in big, big trouble. So girlfriend instead of
a boyfriend's And when did this become the go to
thing for women? Why? That's why it took my key into.
Speaker 5 (58:39):
The that song came, but after this is a trend
like it just exemplified the maybe how Stella got her
groove back?
Speaker 2 (58:49):
Remember that ye was on fire.
Speaker 4 (58:52):
That's the other thing. We we've identified the one thing
you really care about.
Speaker 5 (58:55):
We're going to destroy it.
Speaker 4 (58:56):
I think that's what it is, because you all care
about your car. The kind of girl who would destroy
a car is with the kind of guy who's obsessed
with his car.
Speaker 5 (59:05):
I think it's the point.
Speaker 2 (59:06):
Yeah, Okay, what could a guy destroy of a woman's nothing?
Speaker 5 (59:10):
Because we can't we can if we any kind of
violence next to the next boyfriend who is buy a
new one?
Speaker 2 (59:14):
Right a jail like and you just you snapper a
really good eye pencil into.
Speaker 10 (59:21):
You know, an eyeliner.
Speaker 4 (59:26):
That would be a good one.
Speaker 2 (59:27):
Over in Germany, a family was getting ready to celebrate
a birthday and they needed some candles for the birthday cake.
So they decided to go for some flair this year,
and they got some of those you know, the like
the sparklers and stuff like that. One problem was, I'm
not sure where they bought these things, but these things
were not sparklers. The family lit them while they were
(59:48):
singing Happy Birthday, and within seconds the room was filled
with flames and people screaming because the family had lit
off some fireworks. The birthday looked like the pyro at
a local wrestling show I have. Because of course everybody's rolling,
they want to get it on video, something you're never
going to watch again for the rest of your life.
But this is the moment that the fireworks started going
off there with the birthday cake. Yeah, yeah, I think that's.
Speaker 5 (01:00:33):
The main reason that everyone videos anything these days, because
like I was sitting at the Oasis show and like,
you know, like we always say that the video is
going to be terrible, the sounds gonna be a million
miles away, but they're just hoping that something bad happens.
Speaker 2 (01:00:47):
My wife will still take pictures of everything. If we're
like out somewhere, you know, some kind of not no,
not not like a like a daily going to dinner
kind of put. But if we're like on a vacation
or we're at a special event or something, she's taking
all these pictures and stuff like I go, all right,
look like you're taking a picture of when are you
ever going to look at that picture? Like be honest,
like can you imagine a time or something like a sunset?
(01:01:09):
I can't even understand, like, oh, look at this this
pre scenic thing from this this place that we're in,
but you're taking a picture. Oh I know what it was.
We we just went to Mexico.
Speaker 5 (01:01:19):
You've never been before, right, The hotel dropped off the
first time I ever been to that resort.
Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
The hotel dropped off some chocolate dipped strawberries, you know,
like an anniversary whatever, it's a happy anniversary. It's sitting
on the table in the room, and she's like taking
a picture of Like, when are you ever going to
look at this picture?
Speaker 5 (01:01:35):
Remember college, she's not going to post about it. Oh
she's not, because I thought it maybe not least it's
a chance to flex on them.
Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
Well yeah, real together with all the different.
Speaker 5 (01:01:47):
Pictures iPhones too, they do make little cute collages with
music for you, like eventually, just so you can watch
it personally.
Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
Okay, cool, it's just for yourself.
Speaker 13 (01:01:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
Friday fail story is another one from Florida. This guy
he crashed a drone into a house and he went
over to try to get it back. Knocked on the
doors pretty late at night, so he didn't want to
just you know, walk in the yard to get it.
The homeowner wasn't happy, called the cops and when they
showed up, they went and they grabbed the drone and
what do you know, They found a bag of meth
and fentanyl attached to the drone and the bag said
(01:02:20):
share this nice. So drone dude arrested, taking the failed
jail charge with intent to sell or deliver, also operating
an unregistered vehicle on a kind of you know, the
drone sailed.
Speaker 12 (01:02:33):
Look right here on my phone pictures of when I
was in Mexico and they put rose petals on our bed,
and you ever go back and look other than right now, like, oh,
you know what I think I did?
Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
Take a picture or something like that. Oh, no, you're right,
So maybe a look at this hot photo that Oh
my god, is that Randy? Oh my god?
Speaker 5 (01:02:54):
Hey guys petting up?
Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
They looked like an old lesbian couple. God, look, there's
literally nothing cute.
Speaker 5 (01:03:05):
In that picture.
Speaker 2 (01:03:11):
Jim Chim a little black French. Yeah, I'll give you
one more fail story. God, this one is from I
didn't know they made tank tops in that size. Is
that a special order to dude? Yeah, this is from
New York. Here we go with the hiking again, Greg,
(01:03:32):
what how many wars? Four hikers got lost in the woods.
They were freaking out, decided to call nine one one,
and they admitted to the operator that this all happened
because they took shrooms before the hike. One of them
was Experience A delivered a debilitating high. So park rangers,
firefighters they had to go into the woods, they found them,
(01:03:52):
They put them into an ambulance. They gave him a
courtesy ride back to the place they were staying. Even
found their car keys and they had lost on the
like this is my job. Yeah, I mean they had
good intentions of just you know, like I said, way to.
Speaker 4 (01:04:06):
Debilitating high. You paid too much, Like you want a
debilitating high all thought they.
Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
Had the project also, like people are like, oh, we're
gonna do this and we're gonna go to the desert, Like, no,
it doesn't I don't want to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:04:17):
It's so fun.
Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
I don't want to whether it's your Friday fail stories.
We're gonna take a quick break. We got some more
Woodies show for you. Next, hang on. Ain't nothing but
a jan nothing but a sports day with the g
Jeff Garcie. Thanks, Hey, good morning, Jeff G. And happy Friday.
Speaker 9 (01:04:43):
Hey, good morning and happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (01:04:44):
What do you show?
Speaker 15 (01:04:44):
Let's go ahead, start with the Dodgers they got it
done last night versus the Giants girls who.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
Want Tom to one through pretty such super field O
tiny those story anyways, throw to food not for a
steward of time. Don't be honest soon though Freddy Freeman
s going it off female.
Speaker 15 (01:05:00):
All the Dodgers needed was those two runs. Dodgers lead
in the n O West is now up to three games.
Big news yesterday before the game, Clayton Kershaw announced he's
retiring after the season. Here he is getting a little
emotional talking about his teammates.
Speaker 14 (01:05:13):
The hardest one is the teammates. So I'm not even
gonna look at you guys in the eye. You mean
so much to me, we have so much fun. I'm
gonna miss it. I'm gonna miss you know, working out
day one in the weight room, listening to crazy music
with you guys, Shirtless Sundays.
Speaker 2 (01:05:28):
I'm gonna miss all of that.
Speaker 9 (01:05:29):
By the way, Shirtless Sundays sound like a great idea.
Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
Who's in?
Speaker 15 (01:05:32):
By the way, Tonight is Kershaw's final regular season home start.
Tomorrow is Kershaw Bobblehead Night at the stadium, and then
on Sunday, Kershaw's gonna address the.
Speaker 9 (01:05:41):
Crowd before the game. That should be very emotional as well.
Onto the Angels.
Speaker 15 (01:05:44):
They lost their seventh in a row to the Brewers.
Halo's in Colorado all weekend. NHL Onse Copatar announced his
retirement at the end of the season.
Speaker 9 (01:05:53):
One of my favorite Kings of all time. Thank you
and looking forward to watching you for one last season.
Speaker 15 (01:05:58):
College football USC Michigan State tomorrow at APM at Coliseum.
NFL Bill's beats the Dolphins last night and this weekend,
our LA teams are part of two of the best
games of the weekend. Rams are in Philadelphia Sunday at
ten am. Philly favored by three and a half, and
my Chargers are hosting the Broncos at one pm.
Speaker 9 (01:06:14):
At so far Chargers are favored by two.
Speaker 2 (01:06:15):
And a half.
Speaker 15 (01:06:16):
We also got Raiders and Commanders Sunday at ten and
Niners and Cards Sunday at one twenty five.
Speaker 9 (01:06:21):
Have a great sports weekend. I'm Jeff g and that's
a so cal sports there is, Jeff.
Speaker 8 (01:06:25):
You.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
You'll than Now here's what I want to know. Who
brought in the Reese's Oreo cups?
Speaker 4 (01:06:42):
I did?
Speaker 8 (01:06:42):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:06:43):
You did? Did all right? Gina has brought a bunch
of canny you know what, Let's grab the candy somebody, Sammy,
would you please grab the candy, disperse the candy piece
candy we have as you know, we have a the
feeding table sitting here in the studio off Now, there
was all this weird candy that showed up on that
you brought that from Iceland?
Speaker 4 (01:07:03):
That candies from Iceland. And then I have a bag
of the Reese's peanut butter cup with Oreo that we
were talking about. Yeah, those are courtesy of my real
tur who gave us this big giant, you know, like
Welcome Home present, and she goes. I listened to the show,
and you guys are always talking about chocolate peanut butter stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:07:20):
Oh yeah, yeah, so I said, I tried, because Menace
is wondering if as had tried these yet. I tried
the Oreo cookies that had the Reese's peanut butter inside,
and those are good. Now, I haven't seen the bag
that you're holding before. What I see in the store
is like the king sized Reeses. So these these are
(01:07:41):
the little mini Reese's peanut butter cups. But it says milk,
chocolate and white chocolate cream peanut butter cups with Oreo
cookie crumbs. So the top it looks like the Oreo cream.
But I'm thinking it's exactly what they say. It's probably
just white chocol which I'm not a huge fan.
Speaker 4 (01:07:55):
Yeah me either, but I thought it was the Oreo cream.
Let's see take one.
Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
We'll try the that we said that we're gonna get
our hands on these. I'm sure they're they're fine. There's
not a there's not a ton of those white.
Speaker 4 (01:08:06):
They're just the little babies. This is you opened it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
I don't it Okay, now what I buy? Sorry forgot
the past. Would I would I buy this instead of
just getting the regular peanut butter cup?
Speaker 5 (01:08:19):
No, delightful.
Speaker 2 (01:08:21):
But they're sitting on the feeding table. I'm certainly eating
like the little crunch. I love the crunch. The crunch
is good. I don't know. You don't even taste the
white chocolate peanut. It's a peanut butter cup with just
a little crunch.
Speaker 4 (01:08:32):
To thank you, Marsha.
Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
Okay, I'd give that a ten. Love the crunch, Sammy,
you shut your mouth taste reason you're so broken. I
don't give that a give that an eleven. Yeah, so
damn good. Stupid already. I don't know why it's wrapped
(01:08:58):
in foil and then.
Speaker 4 (01:08:59):
Has the the little they call them the little like panties.
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
That's the point. I'll tell you what it is. It's
the same reason they put speed bumps on the road.
It's the slowest down you were unwrapped. I would eat
the whole bag.
Speaker 5 (01:09:10):
Can we try this other stuff?
Speaker 16 (01:09:12):
God?
Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
Now, this is something. This is one of the the Iceland.
Speaker 5 (01:09:16):
Yeah, you have the toffee pops.
Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
This is called toffee pops. It says it's a toffee
filled biscuit okay, with chocolate flavored coating. Okay, it looks
like a piece of short bread.
Speaker 9 (01:09:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:09:27):
About the size of the ritz cracker.
Speaker 4 (01:09:29):
I was like something chewy or caramel in it.
Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
Yeah. I like the toffee. I like the cookie part.
Mm hmm. Not toffee and think too much of caramel.
You know what caramel it's not. Yeah, medic isn't like caramel.
It's not sweet at all.
Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
Yeah, it's not at all.
Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
It's not a strange I like it kind of tastes
like a girl's cook you know, I haven't had in
a long time. Do they still sell them? I don't
know if anybody's noticed them. But had one friend in
his lunch every day his mom would put a score bar.
Speaker 4 (01:10:00):
For Valentine's Day. Andy got me like fifty of them.
Speaker 9 (01:10:02):
There were.
Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
It's chocolate, but it's it's toffee, like crunchy toffee. Not
this this soft toffee that we have here. It was
crunchy toffee just to cover with chocolate. I remember the name.
Speaker 4 (01:10:14):
They're amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
They were so good. They still so they do they do.
Speaker 12 (01:10:18):
Now here's something we don't even know what it is
because it's scary. Hollow locris I did a little licorice.
Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
I did a little googling on this. Do you want
to just try it?
Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
I want to know just what is it? Is it
black licor I'm not eating black licorice?
Speaker 4 (01:10:36):
Does mean licorice? And this is the yellow one?
Speaker 5 (01:10:39):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
Sorry, hey, take it easy. I actually I need to
bleep out. Sorry, Gina.
Speaker 4 (01:10:46):
This one is lava candy.
Speaker 5 (01:10:50):
It's called okay, it's not bad.
Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
My my mother and my son horrible. My mother and
my on both love black licorice. And it's so discussed
like Mike and Ikes, is Mike good and plenty? Which
one is the one?
Speaker 5 (01:11:07):
Plenty good?
Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
And play with the black licorice?
Speaker 4 (01:11:09):
Chocolate coated black liquorice like a fruity filling?
Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
Hell no?
Speaker 4 (01:11:13):
And medicas the green kind?
Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
What's the green one? I had the pink one that
and you thought that was fine?
Speaker 4 (01:11:19):
And this is it's pepper filled.
Speaker 2 (01:11:21):
I think if you like black licorice, you're insane. Something
is really weird eating it.

him on the guitar used to leave you voicemail messages
all the time with Yeah, he was playing guitar over
(01:16:48):
the phone, working on He probably had a gig right now.
It's very busy. I'm not listening to the whole message again.

Yeah, I can't does everybody there was Jerry O'Connell. Damn yeah,
Hill Wheaton, this guy always picks up. Uh, let's see
Julian's calling me back. Yeah, well she can be next.
I started dialing on this other one. All right, uh yeah,
(01:18:19):
it's party line.
Speaker 16 (01:18:20):
Your call has been forwarded to voicemail.
Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
Really, that was Kevin Smith, son of a bitch.
Speaker 5 (01:18:27):
He's probably directing.
Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
All right, what do you say, Julianne, Yeah, all right,
let's see.
Speaker 5 (01:18:33):
She's currently on a carnival cruise.
Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
No, she just got back.
Speaker 9 (01:18:36):
She went on.
Speaker 2 (01:18:37):
Yeah, I think not her first, like last week fight
somebody almost yeah, God, all these big slippers she picks up.
Julian have you met have you met Gina yet?
Speaker 14 (01:18:58):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
I haven't.
Speaker 4 (01:19:00):
Julianne. I am such a huge fan of yours. I've
heard so many stories about you, and it is an
honor to be talking to you.
Speaker 16 (01:19:08):
All good things, all good things, right, Oh for sure.
Speaker 4 (01:19:10):
Yeah, a lot of good days about going to church, yes,
your library, volunteering.
Speaker 2 (01:19:19):
What do we just what we're telling us? Like her
daughter got ahold of like some kind of like penis something.
Oh yeah, yeah, the lipstick, the penis lipstick, that's what
it was. Yes, of course she did hold your daughter,
she's ten. Yeah, but she she didn't see the lipstick.
She's like she went to go grab it and then
(01:19:39):
Julianne had a stopper, yeah, that kind of stuff she has,
like don't use my everyday lipstick. Yeah yeah, yeah. But
I had a similar story because all right, so my
wife heard about this and I think you were talking
about this kind of like it's one of those sex
toys where it's got it's called a clatoral vacuum. It's
(01:20:01):
like the Womanizer or whatever. Right, anyway, so it was
it was shared around in like a like a little
like kind of friend chat like, oh, girl, you don't
know about this. Well, my wife's like, no, no, know
what this is. So of course I order immediately Amazon.
It gets delivered to the house, like we get it
and the whole thing. Now I'm going to dispose of
the box. I had some old eyeglasses that I put
(01:20:24):
in this little like it came with like a little
pink carrying pouch for this thing, which we're not using
that and by the way, she was underwhelmed by the experience. Anyway.
So I'm taking all these old glasses. I had them
sitting on the counter and my daughter goes, what's with
that pink bag And I go, oh, it's just an
(01:20:44):
old bag. I'm putting these glasses and I'm gonna go
donate them because you can donate the old Giance Club
or whatever. And she goes, what do you do in
the pink bag? And my wife goes, yeah, what are
you doing with the pink bag? I go, oh, no,
this is yours. She goes, I don't recognize it. I go,
it's got a little tag on the whatever the brand was.
And my my daughter says the name of the brand
whatever it was, and she goes, what is blah blah?
(01:21:05):
I could it's fine, so the can I just please
go do this? Errand give me, give me a back,
let me go start talking. So I'm trying to deflect.
I'm looking at my wife going like, yo, shut what
is that? And uh and and my daughter repeats the
name of the company. She goes, I'm gonna look that up.
I go, well with your mom's so yeah, don't like hey, uh,
(01:21:31):
You're like we're supposed to play along here. This is
like bump set spike, right.
Speaker 5 (01:21:35):
I can't do it alone.
Speaker 2 (01:21:36):
Yeah, lead the room and read the room. My god. Anyway, Julianne,
how are.
Speaker 16 (01:21:41):
You I you know, not to show me. I'm I'm good.
Speaker 2 (01:21:45):
Complain I heard you went on a carnival cruise. How
ghetto was that?
Speaker 16 (01:21:49):
Oh you know what, it wasn't as ghetto as I
thought it was going to be. It was actually really great. Yeah,
it was lots of fun, So I was I was
really happy that it was's first cruise because it was
the cruise that we went on it it was a
more family friendly. I guess you could say, like.
Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
Oh yeah, spring break.
Speaker 14 (01:22:05):
But no.
Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
The hot tip is that you picked up all those
drugs in Mexico. Oh yeah, we heard about that too, Like, yeah,
you can go like in Mexico, like pharmacy. Yeah, yeah,
pharmacia they have like you can get stuff at just
the regular pharmacy. Even at the resort that we go to,
there's a pharmacy in the lobby of the hotel and
they sell all that stuff that you would normally need
a prescription for, this whole opioid section. Yeah, and then
(01:22:31):
when you but when you but when you bring it back.
I see, I didn't I didn't know. I thought if
you bought it in quantities like that, you would have
to declare it. But apparently seabats looked it up the
other day. You're supposed to declare it.
Speaker 5 (01:22:42):
Oh yeah, you can't just get random prescriptions and bring
them back.
Speaker 4 (01:22:44):
But also if you've got a lot of it's like
you're selling them a kind of.
Speaker 2 (01:22:47):
Them one thing. But you know, yeah, you got a
bunch of stuff. What kind of stuff did you get?
What did you buy?
Speaker 16 (01:22:53):
We got tram it all, like a lot of it.
Speaker 13 (01:22:57):
And then we got what is it?
Speaker 14 (01:23:00):
What is that?
Speaker 16 (01:23:02):
It's actually like a pain killer. I guess it helps
your headaches in back pain. Yeah, and Kevin has really
bad back pain, so he's it for that, okay. And
and then I got some Trenton Noah or Trenton Noan
face good yeah for your face for really acne. And
you know, because ten preteen going through all that stuff
right now, and I heard it's really good for fine lines.
(01:23:27):
I'm going to try it that too.
Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
Yeah, that's what you're saying. Like a lot of times
are like they'll cut that stuff. You got to really watch,
you know, so be careful. Julian go to Yeah, I
look it up.
Speaker 16 (01:23:38):
I googled it.
Speaker 5 (01:23:39):
You wore you can't google it inside the pill? What
did they step on this one? Meaning?
Speaker 16 (01:23:48):
I googled, like how much like to use? Like when
it came to the face stuff because it, you know,
was putting it on Felicity's face, in my face, and
I wanted to make sure I did it correctly. That's
what I googled what's inside the pill? Now you're I
don't know what's it is?
Speaker 2 (01:24:02):
Sure you'll be all right?
Speaker 5 (01:24:03):
Yeah, no, I thought you actually they were buying it
all right, He's strong.
Speaker 16 (01:24:09):
No, I didn't care about that.
Speaker 2 (01:24:11):
Well, Julianne worked on the show for for a long time.
She was a phone screenner, like a producer. And uh,
now you're still working at the like the power company, right, yes,
I am. We already asking if you wanted to play
the d u i Q. Is the whole reason we
were calling.
Speaker 16 (01:24:24):
I can, yeah, go ahead, you have time, yay, okay,
failure yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
Alrighty well, now we used to we used to bring
Juliane in this kind of stuff, like way before we
knew Sammy. Wait wait, wait before.
Speaker 5 (01:24:36):
All you need to be the guests. Sammy's the Julianne
Now yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:24:41):
You get to get super smart.
Speaker 2 (01:24:42):
Yeah. Anyway, so we'll take the break and then we'll
play around the d u i Q with Julianne the
former phone screenner here of the Woodie Show. Now Carnival
Cruiser and La far Mercia Expert. Yeah, that's next on
the Woodies show. Hang on, Jake, I have a conversation
with the person next to you who's also starting to
how's it going. We'll be right back to the show,
(01:25:10):
all right, switching up just a little bit this morning,
because quite honestly, I don't have I don't have an
extra price right now. Yeah, ragging right, I mean because
I don't know. Then we got we got to talk
to you about not doing giveaways when we don't have
anything allocated to giveaway. We've been doing that a lot,
we do. Yeah, yeah, like I will figure something out.
We'll send him something and have the time anything like that. Yeah,
(01:25:32):
and uh with everybody being with the iHeartRadio music, Scessival
and everything else. Yeah, I was gonna use like blastmoth paths.
We tried calling mister Mussels, who's the you know game,
you knowel calling him. We try calling Jerry O'Connell, We
try calling Kevin Smith, who tried calling Mike the show killer.
Julian Yeah, yeah, now we have Julianne. We have Julian
(01:25:56):
the phone screen and everybody's doing a hot dial trying
to find uh some from what he show passed that
we can we can get on to play the d
uy q. All right, So, being that used to work here,
you're very familiar with the game. Seabeest goes out and
talks to all these different drunk people, and we have
a drunk person that's answering some what he would call
very easy tribute questions. Now, Julian, since you are going
to be for all intents and purposes here the contestant
(01:26:18):
not winning a prize, but a contestant. He just has
a guest two out of three yes or no? Will
the drunk person get it right? And of course we
have Menace and Sammy who are there trying to guess
that's what you met Sammy, right, yes, okay, yeah, yeah, show,
let's play the d u y Q. Who is this person? See?
Speaker 5 (01:26:41):
This is Dion and he just kind of struck me
as a guy who was about to pass out. So
we'll start the conversation there and explore more of his
state of mind.
Speaker 2 (01:26:49):
All right, here is Dion.
Speaker 1 (01:26:51):
What's the weirdest place you've ever passed out?
Speaker 11 (01:26:52):
Dion, weirdest place I've ever passed out was in a
quarter party and I woke up and the Porter Party
smelled better than when I went to sleep in the
Porter party.
Speaker 1 (01:27:03):
What's so great about alcohol?
Speaker 11 (01:27:05):
What it gives you the courage to say you have
pretty bosoms? Yeah, you have really beautiful bosoms to me,
you're saying to a girl, right, Well, well I would
hope you don't have pretty bosoms, but if you had
pretty bosoms, I guess you can accept my compliments.
Speaker 2 (01:27:25):
Okay, I don't hate this guy now, Julian. This is
something you would do when you're turned up. You would
compliment people on their bosoms. You almost got oh yeah,
you almost got a fight on your cruise. You shared
the story with me. You were talking about a guy's
flat ass to his face.
Speaker 16 (01:27:42):
Yeah, like I have any room, right, but yeah, that's
what I did.
Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
And what was his reaction? He'd be like, hell away from.
Speaker 16 (01:27:49):
Random pretty much like I kind of don't really remember.
That was more of Kevin's story. He was like telling
me what had happened. So, yeah, I did this, and
I did this not in front of just my kid,
but in front of his kid too.
Speaker 2 (01:28:02):
So yeah, Cruz, that's uh, that is that is all right? Yeah,
we would ask that guy, hey, any interesting things that
happened on the carnival because he has this random chick.
Yeahs all right, So question number one, d u i Q?
Speaker 1 (01:28:24):
What's a country that borders China?
Speaker 2 (01:28:27):
What is a country that borders China? All right, I'm
gonna say no for Dion.
Speaker 5 (01:28:32):
Menace has been to the China.
Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
He's a huge fan of that country. He likes Chinese, China,
loves that. He loves their government. I want to go back,
all right. I will say no for Dion. I will
say yes for Menace, Yes for.
Speaker 5 (01:28:49):
Sammy, oh wow, yes in the room, no for Dion.
Speaker 2 (01:28:53):
Like Sammy's just looking hell of confident. That's that's the
only reason. I will only say yes to Menace, no
to Sammy. All right, Uh, Julianne, what do you think?
Speaker 16 (01:29:06):
I agree with Greg? I think yes to Menace, no
to Dion, and know to Sammy.
Speaker 2 (01:29:11):
All right, Question number one, d u i Q?
Speaker 1 (01:29:14):
What's a country that borders China?
Speaker 2 (01:29:17):
Menace? We should ask Julian too, but we will, Okay,
don't what is it? Okay? Well, now I'm going to
give her one Russia.
Speaker 5 (01:29:28):
Russia's name. Okay, we'll keep that on the list. Okay, Russia,
all right, Julian Julian can't say Russia, Taiwan.
Speaker 2 (01:29:42):
That's not a terrible guest because there's how about Singapore,
because China surrounds Singapore.
Speaker 5 (01:29:51):
I'm not saying that. No, no, no, no, no Laos
oh of the Korea, Vietnam. Sure, okay, Afghanistan.
Speaker 2 (01:30:06):
It's all about Laos. That's all that matters. Afghanistan does yeah,
really covers a lot of China and China.
Speaker 5 (01:30:16):
Singapore borders Malaysia.
Speaker 2 (01:30:19):
Okay, okay. Question number one d u.
Speaker 1 (01:30:22):
I Q, what's a country that borders China?
Speaker 11 (01:30:25):
What's the country that borders China Africa?
Speaker 13 (01:30:29):
Is it Africa?
Speaker 2 (01:30:30):
You think one day?
Speaker 11 (01:30:31):
Yeah, go there and be But asked Nikki.
Speaker 4 (01:30:36):
Africa is a common answer for a country on this
A lot a lot of people say that Africa.
Speaker 2 (01:30:44):
We got Julian the phone skinner, who is joining us
for this round of the d u y q. We
have Dion are drunk person who's answering the questions. We
have Sammy and Uh and our friend minists who are
just completely sober trying to answer the same questions.
Speaker 1 (01:30:57):
Question number two d u i Q effects what part
of your body?
Speaker 2 (01:31:03):
Howlatos is effects? What part of your body? Greg do

Speaker 5 (01:31:13):
I don't want to give any hints on this one.
It's so it's rich with hints.
Speaker 2 (01:31:18):
Okay, yes to Sammy and menace, no to Dion.
Speaker 4 (01:31:21):
Okay, alright, I'm gonna say yes to menace, no to
Sammy and Dion.
Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
All right. I will say no to Dion, no to Sammy,
yes to menace same all right, with such a multisyllabic
word menace, which you guess? I say no, no Sammy?
Would you guess no, julianne, I say no, no to
everybody smart, Yes to Sammy, Yes to Sammy?
Speaker 13 (01:31:52):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:31:52):

Speaker 5 (01:32:07):
The throat, the mouth because it feels howtosi, this is
what menace. It's it's bad breath.
Speaker 12 (01:32:14):
Yea menace is right, because breath isn't part of the body. Yeah,
the bodega breath, that's right.
Speaker 2 (01:32:23):

Speaker 9 (01:32:40):
Hell no, I'm drunk like alcoholic.
Speaker 2 (01:32:43):
Wow your breath, I mean your breath. Wow, your breast. Yeah.
Speaking of Julian the phone scren and weird things that
happen on vacation and breasts. How about the fact that
she was squirting her breast milk at that bar that's
my favorite at the resort. She's so shocked in Mexico. Yeah, baby,
(01:33:07):
you got to come out of your shell. Yeah, she's
like random strangers like they're hanging around to her. Yeah,
and she's like squirting her breast milk and people are
walking up.
Speaker 4 (01:33:17):
She's an angel.
Speaker 3 (01:33:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (01:33:19):

Speaker 16 (01:33:27):
No, no, no, no, Kevin's sticks Adam on breaston could
just in case I'm not going to be one of
those statistics. But yeah, I had a dream that I
was syringing it like from a cup.
Speaker 14 (01:33:38):
Wow.
Speaker 16 (01:33:40):
I know we are right, we are talking about it.
Speaker 5 (01:33:43):
You're giving her crap. But she was twenty one. It
was spring break?
Speaker 2 (01:33:46):
Oh alright. Question number three d u i Q.
Speaker 1 (01:33:53):
The Watergate scandal brought down what president?

Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, So it's not Reagan? Is
the answer is Nixon? Question number three? What's that?
Speaker 16 (01:35:01):
I didn't everyone like Reagan?
Speaker 4 (01:35:03):
Republicans?
Speaker 8 (01:35:04):
Well, he.
Speaker 5 (01:35:06):
I think he still has the biggest victory by U.
Speaker 2 (01:35:11):
States. He has victory they had, you know, Reaganomics. Who's
they in the country. It was. It wasn't as back
at history. He was very pop. I did do a
recent deep dive on one, you know, like why did
we get rid of all these insane asylums? And Reagan
was a big part of.
Speaker 5 (01:35:29):
Its correct yea of getting rid of him because it
was two steps.
Speaker 4 (01:35:33):
It was let everyone out and build new stuff, and
they never built new stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:35:35):
Yeah, and he but he didn't initiate it. It was
actually Kennedy, who.
Speaker 5 (01:35:39):
I read a whole book on that. Yeah, because of
the the underground Kennedy lady who Rosemary, and they didn't
like her being stigmatized. So now we got crazy people
in the streets. Question number three d u i Q.
Speaker 1 (01:35:55):
The Watergate scandal brought down what president?
Speaker 11 (01:35:58):
He's always talking about globe warm. His wife is nice
to I have no idea about this man you talk
about Al Gore.
Speaker 16 (01:36:06):
Yeah, that guys.
Speaker 5 (01:36:11):
Is nice and we had a good president too.
Speaker 2 (01:36:15):
All right, Well, there you go, there's the d u
i Q. Al Right, sorry, Julian, you gotta go back

Speaker 5 (01:36:28):
Bucks for the carnival cruise, that's right, Yeah, we'll send

Or something? All right, we should probably look into if
we have if we have those. Yeah, we just got
some new mouse mouse pads. What do you show mousepads?
Speaker 5 (01:36:46):
Do you know a mouse pad?
Speaker 2 (01:36:47):
Ye? Take it, Julianne, good to talk to you.
Speaker 5 (01:36:53):
Thanks guys, Sorry, you better give enough for these pear
shaped men looking just like their mom and.
Speaker 13 (01:37:04):
Show.
Speaker 2 (01:37:06):
This weekend is the iHeart Radio Music Festival. First night
tonight for her and you can watch it on Hulu
and then tomorrow night. So tonight and tomorrow night watch
them on Hulu. See all the backstage stuff the performances
of course, and uh yeah if if you're gonna be
there for whatever reason and you're hearing this, uh we
will see you that. Yeah, we will be on site.
(01:37:28):
Oh you know who else is going to be there?
Sammy's Boyfriend's going to the iHeart Festival, which is why
she told us. When she told us, because it would
have been.
Speaker 4 (01:37:37):
A little weird.
Speaker 2 (01:37:38):
I was like, pal is gonna be there?
Speaker 5 (01:37:40):
Yeah, because you know you wilways have celebrity pop up? No,
I mean her actual boyfriend fast boyfriend? Yeah, can I.
Speaker 2 (01:37:48):
Somebody on The text said, Sammy's got a Sam's got
a boyfriend. Now f this show, I'm out. You're ruined it,
s Y.
Speaker 12 (01:37:55):
Sammy told me that she she had told me this
tidbit of information about a month ago, and that admitted
to me just yesterday. Oh remember that guy I told
you about that? I said I had a friend that
lived in this one town. That was my boyfriend. I
felt more betrayed.
Speaker 2 (01:38:12):
There's been so many lies.
Speaker 4 (01:38:13):
There is so many lies you I know.
Speaker 2 (01:38:17):
I know now is he aware of your position on
cheating and how you're here afay to do it, how
it's all good? Yeah, your very open mind is the
idea of cheating that's not true, That is.
Speaker 10 (01:38:28):
Fal I just think it doesn't automatically make a bad person.
I think there are a lot of things that go
into a specific relationship or situation that you know.
Speaker 4 (01:38:37):
It's not for all of us to judge somebody else.
Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
I guess it's aware that you don't like Bacon.
Speaker 4 (01:38:42):
He is aware yet and he still likes you.
Speaker 14 (01:38:44):
I know.
Speaker 5 (01:38:45):
Also, I had to asked Samy, I'm like, Sam, did
you explain to your boyfriend, like you know, when we
first met, like he might think like I'm an extreme
weirdo because this was with me when I met him.
Speaker 2 (01:38:58):
Yeah, and all the all the people that are around
us too, are like, oh, some married guy is firing
on Sammy, and so Menace is like trying to help
step in, trying like, hey, I'll get this guy away
from you, which Sammy took him up on, because Sammy
didn't want the rest of us to know that she
was like into this already gave.
Speaker 10 (01:39:15):
It was it was a different guy, right, because there
was two of them, so the other one was married.
But and also I really did want to leave with Menace.
I really did not want to be left at a
bar at three o'clock in the morning, drunk by myself
with strange guys.
Speaker 16 (01:39:29):
I met that night.
Speaker 2 (01:39:29):
Oh so that's the night I was gonna say, was
this before or after you hooked up with them?
Speaker 14 (01:39:33):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:39:33):
No, no, that was days later, days later.
Speaker 5 (01:39:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:39:37):
Yeah, I was still on board. But I was like,
did you like everybody before after he talked his ship, Okay,
did you explain that everybody's feeding me this wrong information
and then you supported the wrong information? Yeah? Well you
know what, you can discuss that with him tonight and
see him. Yeah, all right, Yeah, I just want to
clear my name that some aggressive weirdo. And speaking of names,
(01:39:58):
we now all know his name. It was a guessing
game and we've agreed. Much like I don't discuss my
kids names on the air, we are not going to
discuss this guy's name on the air. Okay, what's his name? Though?
I thought he was Walt Goofy, We said Puffy, I
thought no, I wanted Willy. Will suggested Tahoe. I thought
was good from combo from Yeah, that's good that the whole.
(01:40:23):
Like Mickey, I like Walt.
Speaker 4 (01:40:25):
He's a Disney guy.
Speaker 2 (01:40:26):
Will because like steamboat and apparently the boat got pretty steamy.
Steamy boat, Willie, that's what you like. Yeah, it's steamy
boat Willie the Disney imagineer. Does does he know you
once pooped in the garbage camp?
Speaker 5 (01:40:43):
I don't think that he does, but I heard it.
Speaker 2 (01:40:46):
He wouldn't be surprised he will, because then when we
all get together, we can all discuss like all of
our fun story, our fun sammy stories that we've learned. Yeah,
we're looking forward to meeting them.
Speaker 5 (01:40:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:40:57):
Yeah, because I didn't even see him like everybody else did.
But this all happened on the cruise, like I didn't
even Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:41:04):
You guys weren't out that night. But it was kind
of fun because I was able to like threaten him
with others because you know, I'm scared of guys, especially
strangers that I don't know, no kidding, and so obviously
he was very aware of that, and so I would.
I was always like, we have to be public or
I know people all over the ship, and I can
get anyone here in three minutes.
Speaker 2 (01:41:22):
It's true, that's what you were saying.
Speaker 5 (01:41:24):
Oh yeah, So like for me that it was no.
Speaker 2 (01:41:27):
But it was just made it more of horning.
Speaker 10 (01:41:29):
It was having everyone close by because I am afraid
of strangers, and.
Speaker 2 (01:41:34):
You know, we'll protect you exactly. Yeah. I mean he
could easily pitch up and throw you overboard.
Speaker 5 (01:41:40):
I had Tmar next to me, Martin. Yeah, so I
was like, Tim will be here in two sides, he'll
handle business.
Speaker 2 (01:41:48):
So let's get this over with before Tim gets back,
and here's us through the walls.
Speaker 5 (01:41:51):
Yeah, okay, what even when?
Speaker 2 (01:41:55):
Okay, because was it a public place on the ship
because the greg but we.
Speaker 10 (01:41:59):
Met it and number of public places before. But also
there's only so many places to go when I was
trying to avoid you guys. So when I let him
come into my room, there was rules and he had
to stay on the other side of the couch because
I was like, we're not supposed to be even in
like a bedroom together right now, Like this is weird
because who tar was in the other room?
Speaker 6 (01:42:16):
I know, But why Like, once you're in the room,
why did you have to be because like, no, it
was too soon, but he's in your room, right but
he had to sit on the side of the couch
and you're growing a doll.
Speaker 9 (01:42:26):
No, but you know, sar zero murder.
Speaker 2 (01:42:31):
That's so weird.
Speaker 10 (01:42:31):
So even when we would talk in my room though,
it would like have to be really quiet because I
didn't want him to hear me talking anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:42:37):
Much like the airport, This sounds like security theater, I know, right, yeah, because.
Speaker 5 (01:42:41):
What's it really going to do?
Speaker 14 (01:42:42):
Well?
Speaker 2 (01:42:42):
We're looking forward to medium, Yeah, yeah, story, What did
you think of the couch rule of the weird.
Speaker 13 (01:42:51):
Four?
